On another note I feel so drained after last weekend
I'd love to take a break from life for a while but my younger sibling has constantly been sistematically causing problems every week and it reached a horrible point this weekend
My parents don't help at all cuz they put absolutely 0 limits to him so I am here just seeing him throw his life away and have the worst kind of company

Future Husband Pick a Card (1-3)
I'm sure you all know how it works! Just relax and let your intuition guide you to choose your pile 🌕. Take what resonates and leave the rest. I am very honest and will not sugar coat what I see. Please don't hesitate to tell me what resonated with you! I welcome all to interact 🤝
Hello everyone! Welcome to my tarot blog. This is my first post ever, and a pick a card reading (1, 2, 3- cards) 🥰😍🥀
Pile 1:
Page of Wands
Tumblr media
- First and foremost, it COULD indicate he's younger- if not, he may seem younger with his demeanor. More than likely, he may have approached you first. He'll be the first you one hear when you walk into a room.
In the beginning stages, this person will feel like a breath of fresh air. They are lively and outgoing. Always inviting you to join them on outings with friends or see and experience new places.
They are very social and ready to be on the go-go go. If you're not, it doesn't matter. They'll go because they're ready. Decisive and quick. However, it may not always be thought out. This person tends to be optimistic and may seem naive, but do not berate them. Sharp and witty, they stand their ground. They do not like to be held back and smothered. They seek fun and spontaneity, keep them on their toes. At times, you may feel like this man flakes out on you because he is so quick to do other things or entertain himself with others. He may forget things easily, such as planned dates or activities, anniversaries, or make sudden changes.
Their curiosity and openess will show you how to appreciate the moment and accept changes. It's okay to experience new things. If something is wrong, they will confront you, and they will expect the same from you. Be open and honest, and communicate with patience. They're not afraid to voice their opinion and say it how they see it. Friends and family love and adore their presence, which brings warmth and laughs all around.
Please remember, we all change with time, and some things may remain, but nothing lasts forever. Take what resonates and leave the rest.
Pile 2:
King of Wands Reversed.
Tumblr media
- He's definitely the one to approach you. Could be someone older or someone in an authority position.
This man may appear aggressive, often displaying signs of frustration or impatience. Can be very controlling and dominant overall. He has natural charisma and a fiery intellect, making it difficult to get a word in with him. Stubborn and hot-headed, he will likely dislike opposing views or opinions. People's views of him are black and white. Few understand him. There could be a problem with respecting those above him or taking consideration from others in general. There are few to maybe none that he cares for, but if he does care, he is fiercely protective over them and will come to their side to defend them. Even blindly.
About action, he's the one to get it done and have a go get it now attitude. Either do it or don't. Prone to impulsiveness and hypocrisy, his actions may bring upon consequences he isn't ready to handle and will break down in a tantrum.
Not afraid to approach others, he is relentless with his pursuits. On the good days, his humor and smiles are a sight to see and hear. Captivating and charming, people are drawn to him or are intimidated by him. His humor isn't everyone's cup of tea. It may be crude.
Highly competitive, spats between him and others are frequent. He hates losing and hates being wrong.
To be with this man, thick skin is needed along with groundedness. With you, he can be very loving, but ill tempered and stubborn.
He's very likely a traditional man who wants a traditional wife and family with him as head of the household. Although earlier in life, he may have had a desire of the opposite for the short term.
Please note that the future is not set in stone. Take what resonates and leave the rest.
Pile 3:
Ace of Cups
Tumblr media
- This man off the bat is an emotionally intuitive man. More likely to be reserved with his words, but expressive with his love and affections. Expressive eyes with intent prying into your soul. He enjoys private moments with you and goes out of his way to get you alone. It may seem unintentional, but it's not. It may be a love at first sight, or rather, when they fall in love- they fall hard.
There could be this feeling of a deep connection between the two of you that feels familiar yet so foreign. However, do not drown with the feeling. Learn to swim with it, or it will create false imaginations of the other person. You open up this person's inner world, and they want to pour into your cup endlessly. Sometimes, feelings can become intense, and a struggle to sort through emotions with each other can be difficult. Therefore, there can be spurts of emotional outbursts. Clear communication is very important with this man.
Being one to love deeply, he can hold a grudge and keep score of what wrong he thinks you've done to him. He might think he loves you more than you love him. This man wants you to be open with your love and reciprocate his feelings with the same intensity. When you are in an emotional frenzy from work or a bad day, he's the one to comfort and feel you. He'd go out of his way to make you feel better. If he can't, he will beat himself up for it. People close to him are few, even if it seems like there is a whole crowd around him. He's the go-to therapist or listener for folks, and it may get to him from time to time, so please allow him some space when needed.
Some days, he may seem hot and cold, but that's just likely because he isn't feeling anything that particular day or hour. Or he is in his head thinking about anything. As all humans do.
Love each other truly and not just love itself. It is easy to get lost in love and forget the person. Take what resonates and leave the rest.
Please remember, take what resonates, and leave the rest. One card does not describe everything about a person, and it is not the end all be all. Nothing is set in stone. People change - we all change.
Once again, please let me know what resonates and tell me what'd you like to see from me. 💫

Maybe a hot take, but I don't think the Traveler was being inconsistent or out of character in the last archon quest at all. People are getting upset at their reaction to Lyney and Lynette's behavior from the perspective of players, with meta knowledge of the story that the Traveler, the character, doesn't have.
The players know, for example, that because they're playable characters, Lyney and Lynette are ultimately friendly and on "our" side, and we can also trust that what they told us about their backstory is true. The Traveler does not have that knowledge.
TO BE CLEAR this post is talking about my thoughts on the TRAVELER'S thought process. If we want to talk about how I personally would have reacted to the situation, I'm an overly trusting bleeding-heart who would absolutely get scammed and probably murdered by Fatui in this universe.
(Also characters, even main characters who you normally like, can do things you disagree with and that doesn't mean they're badly written. I mean, sometimes they are, but I don't think that's true in this particular case)
But think about it! Looking at the entire situation from an in-universe, in-character POV, it's a really bad look for Lyney and Lynette overall, because here are the facts as the Traveler is aware of them:
Lyney and Lynette are not only members of the Fatui, the primary antagonistic force in this story, but are specifically members of the House of the Hearth, which is known to specialize in espionage, subterfuge, and sabotage.
Both of them also work in a field that would further require them to be masters of misdirection, audience manipulation, and drama.
They "coincidentally" ran into the Traveler right as they arrived in Fontaine and immediately began to do them favors and be very friendly, including saving them from Furina, bringing them to meet their family, and gifting them VIP tickets to Lyney's show.
During the trial, the twins withheld key information, and not just about their identities (and listen, I get it, I fully empathize with why they did it, I get the reasoning, but it's still a bad look when it gets figured out) but also about what they were doing in the tunnel.
They admitted that the entire magic show was a ruse to do, guess what? espionage! To break into the room with the Oratrice's core and find out how it works. To, through subterfuge, obtain Fontaine's secrets about the nation's most important mechanism and central source of power.
The Traveler has known these people for like, a day total.
So what conclusions might the Traveler draw from these facts? When the evidence shows that Lyney and Lynette have a record of misdirection and obfuscation for their own ends? When the Traveler has no way of knowing if even their initial meeting was orchestrated for an ulterior purpose? How are they supposed to know if the tragic backstory is even true, or if that's just Lyney trying to win back some favor and sympathy? In my opinion, at that moment, they don't. Hence the coldness.
My interpretation of events is that the Traveler does like the twins, and wanted to keep liking them, but was struggling to reconcile their initial impression of two friendly magicians with the realization that these two friendly magicians were dishonest with them for most of the time they'd known each other, so they needed to have some space to figure that out.
And for those saying the Traveler is inconsistent, here's the thing: they still helped Lyney. They still acted as his attorney, investigated thoroughly, won the case, and cleared his name. They've done similar for other Fatui members in their acquaintance—they helped Childe with Teucer, they helped Scaramouche/Wanderer with getting his memories back, they helped that other member of the House of the Hearth fake her death and escape the organization—whether or not they fully trusted them, and generally they didn't.
As for the Traveler's supposed hypocrisy, my view of their relationship with Childe is that it's only improved because, despite Childe trying to nuke Liyue in the past, the Traveler knows that
a. They can handle him if it comes down to a fight again; b. He likes them, regardless of if the feeling is mutual or not, and is indeed aggressively friendly to the point where it's easier to just be civil; c. Childe is generally upfront and honest about his actions and will strike from the front, not stab them in the back; and d. He's worked together with them before when they had a common goal (for example, the labyrinth they went through with Xinyan).
They know how his mind works and what motivates him. Childe is a known quantity, the twins are not, and it took in-story time and shared experiences for the Traveler to get to even this point of neutrality; they were openly suspicious of him during his story quest.
As for holding his Vision for him, the Traveler didn't exactly volunteer for the job, Childe literally threw it at them with no warning and peaced out. What do you expect them to do, drop it in the sea? That would be inconsistent with their characterization.
Wanderer's whole situation is even weirder, since the Traveler was able to experience his actual memories and emotions and therefore has good reason to trust that he's had a genuine change of heart. Not to mention that they're not friends, I'd argue they're in that same nebulous "neutral" zone, and that only because Nahida usually functions as a buffer (and also because, again, the Traveler knows that they can handle Wanderer in a fight, and Wanderer also tends to be blunt and honest).
Also, in Lyney's story quest it seems like everyone got over their problems pretty fast and they're all chummy now, so you can all rest easy that the twins' feelings weren't too hurt about it.
Anyways if you disagree go ham, refute my points, whatever, just keep things civil.

What kind of non lethal crimes do you think Joker would pivot to in a relationship with Bruce? I'm thinking about your REMS characterization. Also thinking about a line from Joker in the last chapter, about not throwing his career down the shitter and killing to defend himself. What would a career look like for him being with Bruce? Surely he would still be incredibly silly about them, with varying levels of violence that *just* teeters the edge. Love your work!
Glad you like my work, thank you! Hmm, what I had in mind when writing that in REMS (or for a sequel) was Joker's penchant for... well, breaking people and exposing hypocrisy, but minus the murder. With his love of drama and performance sprinkled on top, of course; as you say, he'd never stop being silly.
He usually kills indiscriminately, yes, because he considers himself as just playing into the cruel meaninglessness of the world. But the reason why Joker fixated on Batman, and why his M.O. includes using a gas that basically forces people to see the world like he does right before they die, is Joker's need to prove a point. He wants people to admit that there's no order to life and that tragedy can strike at any time; he wants Gotham to realize how arbitrary rules are, and Batman happens to be the perfect embodiment of that.
So I think that a Joker who won't murder anymore would basically create situations in which people's darkest sides are exposed, to various degrees of seriousness and violence. And not only that-- he would do things that would expose the ridiculousness and heinousness of the world people live in. Capitalism and its self-cannibalizing focus on profit, the skewed interests of the government, the suffering of the poor... Joker's already done this sort of thing, it's not much of a stretch. For example, seeing how many people we're being hurt as a result of superhero fights, one time Joker promised to pay the medical bills of each Gothamite that posted a video on the DC equivalent of Facebook... but only if they shouted the word "Balyushka" and then did something ridiculous to make him laugh:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Batman: Gotham Nights #6 ("Balyushka!")
And he keeps his word! But of course, this creates utter chaos, because people are doing fucking crazy shit to get that money. And the thing is, he doesn't do this just for funsies. He has a point, and Bruce can't help but admit it:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Batman: Gotham Nights #6 ("Balyushka!")
Joker exposed the problems that Batman could not tackle with fists, and then Bruce listened. He actually used his money and influence to help.
Ironically, again, it's not the first time Joker did something that made Bruce go "Hmm, maybe I should look into the systemic corruption":
Tumblr media
Batman: Gotham Nights #4 ("The Dragnet")
I won't go into too much detail, but Joker paid Harleen Quinzell's tuition without much prompting, he went and helped (in his own way) a child who wrote to him and was clearly being abused... it's about the cases he can empathize with. And they're all connected to his own life-ruining trauma. Red Hood fell into the vat most of all because of poverty. Because he had no choice except to turn to crime-- otherwise him and his family would not have had food to put on the table. So of course he hates the society he lives in, one that had no safety nets or mercy for people like him who were drowning.
This is a very long-winded way to say that I imagine a non-lethal Joker being a mix of this and... stupid ass pranks on a massive scale, because let's be honest, he wouldn't give them up. He just wouldn't kill people at the end (because it'd make his boyfriend sad).

WARNING: VIVZIEPOP CRITICAL, STOLITZ CRITICAL CONTENT.
I get fairly mean in this one, you've been warned.
I am so sorry, Viv. You can't convince me to see Stolitz as anything beyond a toxic, doomed to fail, train wreck.
I'm SO down for a good toxic ship.
In fact, I found their pilot dynamic far more interesting than the current writing seems to be depicting.
I refuse to feel bad for a man that caught feelings for a childhood """friend""" so hard he ruined his own life. Blitz owes NOTHING to Stolas. He agreed to fuck him so he could run a business that is barely discussed, even though it was the original point of the show.
Does it suck that Stolas had to deal with an arranged marriage that he never wanted with a mean wife? Yeah.
You know what else sucks?
THAT STELLA HAD TO MARRY A MAN SHE NEVER WANTED, AND HAD TO GIVE BIRTH TO HIS CHILD. ALL WHILE HAVING A FUCKING CREEP OF A BROTHER. ALL WHILE BEING TREATED AS A MONSTER BY THE FANDOM THAT CAN'T UNDERSTAND HYPOCRISY IF IT BIT THEM IN THE FACE.
Like yes, she's a cantankerous bitch. But you can't seriously pretend like she isn't also suffering in this relationship. The only difference is she turns her pain into external anger, where as Stolas has been turned into uwu soft bird who can do no wrong.
Even though he destroyed his family in an extremely public way. Octavia is going to have to live with the impact of her father's decisions for the rest of her life. You can't seriously expect me to feel bad for a man that is the agent of his own destruction.
You also can't tell me that Blitz just needs to get over himself just so he can be with a man who's father BOUGHT HIM FOR HIS SON AS A PRESENT.
To reiterate. If this was meant to be read as a terrible toxic arrangement that just keeps happening? I'm down for that. But this is not, and will never be cute or healthy.
Blitz doesn't owe Stolas anything. He keeps up his end of the bargain. It's purely sexual, and just because Stolas can't accept that doesn't make it Blitz's problem.
Stolas needs to learn how to accept rejection and move the fuck on. He knew he would catch feelings and considering he basically has Blitz on a leash, that doesn't make this any less gross.
The fact that he knows Blitz will leave if he's given the power to go to earth on his own proves it.
Blitz has frankly done very little IF ANYTHING to warrant being subjected to this level of obsession on Stolas' part. He's just trying to make a living.
Frankly, if you wanted us to actually think Blitz was interested, you've totally missed the boat with that one. This should have been worked on ages ago and it makes it feel exceptionally rushed and out of character on Blitz's part.
At this point I'm starting to think Fizz and Ozzie are a fluke of good writing in a sea of godsawful shit. Charlie and Vaggie felt like a literal afterthought in their own show. Husk and Angel are so rushed it felt like watching a relationship at double speed. Are we even supposed to think Pen and Cherry are actually a thing? Because if I was Cherry I would have punched Pen for that shit.
Christ. I don't drink but Viv makes me feel like starting.
Thank you for coming to my TedTalk.

More aos rambles but I find it so interesting that Coulson, despite being the one May and Daisy look to as a man with a good heart when they themselves feel like monsters, is the one who would risk everything including other people to save them. Like if Daisy is in danger and the only option to save her is a plan where every other agent has a 95% chance of dying, he's doing it. And he's very openly hypocritical about it to the point that everyone else calls out his double standards. Mace saying "When it comes to May and Daisy you can't be objective." and Lincoln and May pointing out how he'd sacrifice every inhuman but never Daisy. Like he cares very deeply about Fitz and Simmons but he makes decisions that puts them at risks that I just can't see him doing if it was Daisy. And Coulson very rarely feels bad about it, he stands by his hypocrisy and desire to protect his daughter. Even when it comes to Daisy's own wishes, he cares too much to let her sacrifice herself.
Meanwhile May doesn't love Daisy any less, quite possibly even loves her more by the end of the series, but she also is just more... understanding and respectful of Daisy's autonomy and wishes. Like if Daisy were to die or sacrifice herself May would never recover, would be the last to leave the grave side. But at the same time she wouldn't risk every agent to save her, choosing instead to believe in Daisy's ability to beat the impossible like she's done time and time again. And I don't think she would have knocked Daisy out to drag her home when she was scared of ending the world. She would have stayed with her, and that would likely have been what twisted Daisy's arm to get her home. 'If you're going to be stupidly sacrificial and stay then so am I, because we're too alike. I know how you think and I know that's how to checkmate your self destructive impulses.'
I'm not saying one is morally better than the other, they're both just parents who love their kid and want to protect her. But Coulson, who's viewed by most people as essentially just some suit with a good heart, would order every man he commands to fight a suicide battle if it was the only way to keep Daisy alive. Meanwhile May would be first in line to fight that battle, and she would win! But she would never drag anyone else down. She's as practical and ruthless as Coulson, even more so sometimes. But having been the one to train Daisy, her protection comes in the form of unshakeable belief in the good Daisy is capable of, and a gentle but solid place to rest whenever things don't go as planned. If she thinks Daisy's making a mistake she'll say it to her face, but she's more... open, than Coulson is, to letting Daisy fumble around and find her own way. She'll still be there to beat up anyone that threatens her kid and offer wisdom in the aftermath, but it's less impulsive than Coulson.
Coulson idolizes Captain America as a hero for the same heroic traits he sees in May and Daisy. He believes that they are Special people, and they must go on even if he doesn't. But those very same traits that makes them so special in his eyes are what makes them feel like they have to be the one to jump on the grenade and protect their team, all while Coulson is trying to keep them as far away from the grenade as possible. And they both see a goodness in him and in each other that they don't believe they posses themselves. They're all somewhat correct and also all a little blinded by how much they love each other, but that's just how families are.

gardenia skin update - june 18 2023
I've added better baby, child and toddler stage skins to my Gardenia skin blend! It bothered me that the younger textures didn't match the older textures so finally I sat down this weekend and blended the remaining ones. Yes I know today's not the 18th I'm writing this post late sorry.
The download links on the original post have been updated.
The packages are still the same. You can just replace the old packages with these updated ones, and your sims skins should be updated when you go in game again. You can delete your caches as well just to be safe.
Texture credits:
Baby stage: Kurasoberina's Primer skin
Child and toddler stages: a blend of Noodlesims Apple Cider Vinegar V2 and Ephemera Fresh, to match the older stages
Click here to go to the original download post.
Mini Goth family ramble below:
I was trying to take a nice family picture of the Goths aged down (when Bella would have been a younger adult) to make this update post look all cute, but Cassandra had this permanent don't-want-to-be-here expression on her face the whole time which kind of ruins the happy family vibe I was going for, but also seems very fitting for the family dysfunction I imagine them having. So here we have this kinda sad looking family portrait (younger Bella is in the middle of gently coaxing Cassandra to smile, Alexander is too young to know what's going on, and Mortimer is absent) and I'm too tired to retake it so I'm just gonna use it. I always envisioned Cassandra as the sibling who would have been exposed to Mortimer and Bella's marriage problems the most from a young age which would have caused her to act out and eventually grow into her rebellious teen and young adult phases. And refusing to smile for a perfect-happy-family-photo seems very much like something young Cassandra would have done, to rebel against the sheer hypocrisy of it all, so I feel like this picture really says so much about her and her family lore... anyways.

"I don't dislike Rhaenyra, I really don't. But it is BAFFLING to me that her struggles are 'I'm just a princess, I'm not even queen :(((( My life SUCKS :((('
Alicent's fans have the most mediocre opinions about Rhaenyra because they are only capable of victimizing Alicent. Also, during episode 7, when the eye incident occurs, Alicent and Rhaenyra haven't been friends for over 9 years. Alicent's only actions after the time jump are to pick on Rhaenyra and her children. Why should Rhaenyra care about Alicent? Alicent's speech in that episode is pure hypocrisy; she had already let Larys get away with murdering two people and stayed silent because it benefited her. Justice and duty can be forgotten as long as it benefits Alicent.
Alicent is also not the eternal victim that OP believes she is..
People who think Rhaenyra's struggles are "but I wanna be queen :(" really don't have good media comprehension. If we look at everyone else in HOTD the same way op is looking at Rhaenyra, then literally all of their struggles are "but I want that privilege!"
Rhaenys and Corlys want the throne or their blood to be on the throne. Viserys wants to be able to chill in his room with his figurines with no responsibility. Daemon wants to be Hand, the heir, or the prince consort. Alicent wants to chill with privilege and no responsibility at first, then wants her blood to be on the throne. Aegon wants to be prince with no responsibility or consequences. Helaena wants to chill alone with bugs and her kids. Aemond wants to be king.
Literally every person in this show wants to stay privileged but on their terms. That's not actually their issues and struggles, but if we're dumbing down Rhaenyra's story, everyone gets dumbed down too.
Rhaenyra has been demeaned and treated as less than because of her gender her entire life. She was forced into a marriage with a gay man who couldn't give her children while a majority of her worth still lay in her ability to give birth. Viserys never actually went out of his way to support her until his literal last day, he does the bare minimum to protect her or her children in court. She was abused by Alicent for a decade at least until she was driven from the capital. She was usurped, her children murdered, and was murdered by her brother. She is so much more than wanting to be queen, TG stans just hate to see that.
As for Alicent, she only cares about "duty and sacrifice" when it benefits her and/or her family. She clings to the morals of the Seven until it's her faction going against them. She's obsessed with her and Rhaenyra's former friendship until she can use it to try guilting/manipulating Rhaenyra.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In Driftmark, Rhaenyra was right on about Alicent. Alicent has been far from the saint her fans view her as and far from the martyr she thinks she herself is. She has abused Rhaenyra and supported Larys, allowed Aegon's bullying of Aemond and Criston's of the Velaryon boys.
Alicent should be asking herself where duty is and asking her faction where their sacrifice is. Rhaenyra has done her duty, she married who her father told her, she had children to be her heirs and Laenor claimed as his own as well (even though she had a lot of trauma surrounding childbirth). She has served on the small council despite how the men on the council don't respect her and Alicent constantly undermines her. Rhaenyra's only crime is refusing to sacrifice herself to serve the men around her.
Op purposefully twisting the events of the show to support their view that Alicent "always defended Rhaenyra" and "only did what she was told" is so frustrating. That view deliberately ignores that Alicent stopped defending Rhaenyra in episode five, the same episode where she chose to declare war on Rhaenyra. The ten year gap was her acting entirely independently from Otto. It also ignores how Alicent raised her children to hate Rhaenyra and her children, that's not defending Rhaenyra or doing what she's told, since Alicent had the most control over her children's lives.
Alicent isn't a perpetual victim, she's victimized by the patriarchy (show only), but quickly becomes a perpetrator of abuse and a constant supporter of the patriarchy. She sacrifices her own daughter in the name of Aegon's ascension. She hates Rhaenyra for not bending to the men around her and punishes her for it. Alicent benefits from bending to the patriarchy by second half of the season, and doesn't stop until she causes the Dance. She may work for the betterment of the men around her, but she does it of her own freewill after marrying Viserys.

Hello everyone! I hope everyone have a nice today! I very much rarely engage in fandom directly but there's has been something nagging me for a while, and this has something to do with SOME of Grey and Gauche shippers, alongside SOME of Gauche 'fans', treated him. I'm mostly talking about English speaking side of the fandom. I feel like the need of talk about this because I really hate the way they treated canon Gauche:
(Fair warning: LONG)
I absolutely hate seeing fans turning Grey into another Marie for Gauche or a replacement of his sister and makes him simp for her just like how he acts around Marie. In the story Gauche‘s simping for Marie is called “complex” because he simps out of unhealthy familial love and attachment because of what happened to them in the past and as a result of Gauche’s trust issues. His simping is NOT normal. It’s an ISSUE. FLAW. That needs to be FIXED. Not deflected to someone else. I see a lot of shippers make Gauche shoves his problems into Grey and repeats all his complex action with her. Example, a lot of memes show Gauche being weird about Grey’s photo. Whyy? One of the charms this ship has is how it brings out a unique caring side of Gauche we rarely see, like when he told Grey to work on her magic in the seabed temple, or when she saved him with the bulls after the elf fight. Yeah. That… that side of Gauche acting tsun and shy because he’s not used to be nice or open to others. Yet a lot of fans choose to use his unhealthy simping and shove it to Grey rather than builds upon his established development.
Nosebleeding over Grey. I saw this troupe is used TONS of time by the shippers artists, specifically English/West ones, and it's bothering me A LOT. Like. This troupe is used a lot in western Grey and Gauche shippers community and it's so fucking weird because aren't the same community despise the way anime over exaggerating this troupe at the point it's destroyed gauche's characterization? (For the record, after his arc Gauche only nosebleed for 5 times in manga, while in anime? Idk 50 or smth 😂😂😂) Then why they act the same way with anime with over-using this troupe when he found Grey's cute or adorable or anything sexual? Like, I'm so sorry but this such a huge hypocrisy. Hate the way anime treated him but do the same. Do you know what's ironic? I've seen less of this troupe used in the Japanese bc ship community, where most of them didn't mind the troupe. There's more irony. Most of the nice fanarts and actually depicted their relationship right it's also from JP artists who's not even have Grey and Gauche as their main ship. They're drawing them once in awhile and that's it. It's sad because why ppl who doesn't have them as their main ship understand the ship's dynamic better more than the actual shippers?
Grey Fix Gauche. Grey will Fix Gauche. Oh my God. This is the most cringiest shit ive ever heard when it came to a ship. This is also the biggest reason why I lost all of my love I had for this ship and ended up disliking it. Like. No. Grey ain't fixing Gauche. Gauche is the one who's fixing his own problem. And if you really want to insist of using 'fixing' troupe, then Asta fixing Gauche is way more valid than her. Because, he's the one who changed Gauche's mind. If Asta didn't do this then Gauche will still not giving any shit about Grey. But yeah, I hate the fixing troupe as I'm firm believer one can and SHOULD fix their problem by their own self, not by others. This troupe is problematic and I'll stand by it. That aside, saying her fixing Gauche is literally disrespecting Gauche's own development and the others characters that help him grow up (henry, gordon, Theresa, YAMI). Like, stop. Stop thinking Grey took all of those efforts that's she's not even done. Stop being delusional. Please. Why y'all not trusting him to became a better version of himself by his own efforts? Damn.
Gauche has sister complex and I hope people especially his fans will accept that as one of his character flaws instead of being denial x') he's not some poor guy who show his love differently. I know the anime explained it like that but in my honest opinion he reads to me as a man in need of therapy help because his traumatic past of having his family killed is left untreated and resulting in him developing attachment issues to his sister, the only family he has left. (Manga - Context) Did Gauche get better at not being a full siscon? Yes. Did he enterly get over it? No. Because he will always show sister complex gags and it's the same with any other bulls with their gags (ex. Noelle's royalty tsun, Luck's fight obsessed, Vanessa's alcoholic). These are flaws that make them more humans and will need more time to smooth over. As his fan, I want Gauche to fully love Marie in the healthy way of course, and I'm happy he's not as bad as before. Some bulls already helped him with that by showing him there's others he can protect beside his sister. I'm sure Grey is also gonna help him because she's his love interest but fixing him? Nah. He’s already getting better by his and the bulls’ efforts not just Grey.
(I'm saying this again just to make sure: NOT ALL Grey and Gauche shippers act like this, there's only SOME of them (the rest are good) but the way they treated Gauche is just too much I need to make a post about it lol)
Alright that's it. I had more complains like how people keep drawing gauche with muscles (he's a twink omg y'all following anime way of drawing him 😭/hj), ignoring Gauche's canonly beautiful blue greenish eye, etc but that's my personal preferences and I believe everyone deserved to draw him in their own way x) with this vent is clear enough that I do not like and vibes with Grey and Gauche as the ship because of the shippers (also the way tabata treated them but that's a different topic lol) I know this two will eventually be canon but I don't care and I still want to give more loves for him and drawing him with others characters because he deserved to have more fanarts thats not tied to his canon ship x')
Lastly. I just wish the Grey and Gauche shippers can see more from Gauche's point of view instead of being huge biased towards Grey. Because at this point I'm convinced that the shippers is Grey fans who only cares about Gauche because he's her love interest. Please respect and adore Gauche's character as y'all do with Grey 😞
Thankyou and have a nice weekend everyone!

still born.
dialogue prompts from still born by guadalupe nettel. this book deals directly with infant loss / illness.
nothing will happen to you while i'm here.
in friendships like ours, there's no room for hypocrisy.
they say that violence begets violence.
the more we love a person, the more fragile and insecure we feel because of them.
if you disappeared, a part of me would go with you.
i can't take any more of you.
can i bum one off you?
what was it like to live with ____?
i didn't come here to argue with you.
i've got you to love. i don't need anyone else.
can you talk? i need to tell you something.
it's a long story. you'll need to pay attention. do you have time now?
did you just get back from school?
i just went for a walk around the block.
why don't we go to the park this afternoon?
i talk to myself, too.
did anyone tell you what happened?
what did i do wrong?
there's nothing like looking at a lake to calm one's thoughts.
do you mind if i smoke?
i promise you i won't leave until it's better.

you look like you've gone back in time.
you can spend the day with me.
it's not right, but sometimes it's worth doing.
what i want is for you to stop meddling in my life.
i need to know so i can help you.
it's as if ____ needs to suck my life force to grow.
all i feel is worn out.

i'm not sure 'normal mothers' exist.
you'll judge me. you always do.
there are people who consider misfortune an infectious disease.
we tend to see our mother's mistakes as the source of all our problems.
you're always questioning the past.

from hereon in, anything that happens is a bonus.
i'm here to help you, not to fight you.
i like to say things straight.
there's always a way to renegotiate debt.
i can't believe you hid this from me. it's like staying quiet when there's a fire in the house.
you're not on your own. we're a family now.
i ask myself why you stay sometimes, too.
are we going to stay like this for the rest of our lives?
blood ties don't guarantee anything.
the biological family is something that's been imposed on us. there's no reason we should settle for that if it doesn't work for us.
i can't stand being in my head.
is it your voice in your head, or someone else's?
what do you do when your thoughts bother you?
you've got space inside you where you can go and hide.
we have the children that we have, not the ones we imagined we'd have.
what could someone so young know about despair?
don't leave my side for a minute.
i feel like an absolute worm.
do you think you'll be able to fall in love again?
don't be nervous. whatever has to happen will happen. no one gets out of that.

Is it me or is Immaru sounding more and more reluctant to actually, yknow, bring Savathun back? It feels like he's trying to find reasons not to. If he truly believed Eris wasn't gonna manage to defeat Xivu, he'd have already fled, but he's still sticking around. Maybe she didn't treat him as well as I thought?
Also
FYNCH MENTIONED
Yeah, same.
We've only ever had one interaction between them, in this lore tab. And it's incredibly hard to judge if this was how they were all the time or just this once, as well as if this was genuine on Savathun's part. Basically everything she tells him here leads him to the conclusion that fighting fire with fire is okay - aka that Ghosts are okay to be killed. Which is what she wanted from him. She wanted him to be okay with this because she knew that her plans will involve Ghosts being killed.
Not to mention that the Hive have been killing Ghosts for as long as they've been in contact with the Guardians. Immaru's sudden surprise that Guardians would strike back in the same way is a form of hypocrisy on Immaru's part. Immaru simply believed that Guardians would never stoop that low and when we did, he was baffled by it. It didn't matter that he chose to ally himself with notorious Ghost-killers who have slaughtered thousands of his brothers and sisters.
Most of all, I think he's realising that Savathun is fundamentally a selfish person who has only ever done things for her own benefit. Savathun's goal from the start of her life was to be immortal. It didn't matter how this would be achieved or how many she would have to trample over to achieve it, even if it involved sacrificing her own family. I think Immaru knows that he's her immortality and nothing else. He's like a worm, but without the unpleasant additions of the worm. And it's much better for him to just stay as the leader of the Lucent Hive himself, with autonomy and agency to do whatever he wants, rather than return Savathun and then be her second in command where she can use him purely as a tool. I think he knows that's all he is to her.
So yeah, I'm not surprised that he's having second thoughts. As Savathun's Ghost, there's really no progress for him left, ever. It's a constant danger to his own life and freedom, with basically no benefits other than having a high position as a leader. And he can have a better position on his own. I'm really interested to see what he'll end up doing and how we'll end up wrapping up this season when it comes to Savathun being rezed.

I am already not paying for Netflix and will not support ST either, especially after Shawn Levy's open Zionist approach.
Look, no one is saying they cannot support their family in Israel. But what they are doing is basically sitting in the US and calling for an open ethnic cleansing against Palestinians, while cherry-picking their words and spreading false information. As we speak, Gaza is basically being bombed to death, an entire place has its water, electricity and basic resources being taken from them. It may be easy to post random shit on your accounts with millions of followers while living in rich houses. But the reality doesn't match that and both Levy and Noah should have been more sensible and learned better before posting dumb shit on your accounts.
You are free to hate whoever. N I'm not even gonna bother to defend them cuz it's not my job nor do I base my politics off of teen celebs. That being said I've read his statement that is just as passionate and devoid of the complete understanding of everything of it like other impassioned posts. That's what passionate posts do. They appeal to an emotion. I'm not sitting here expecting him or any other jewish celeb to say yaaaaaas Hamas. Nor am I gonna raise my brows if they speak for the Jewish side of things.
The statement that people read and ran with saying he's calling all Palestinians terrorists is as inaccurate as whatever false info y'all are accusing him of spreading. I do not blame him nor do I defend him and him is a placeholder for any Jew celeb, cuz I do not base my sense of right or wrong on what they're saying. I've never once felt the need to publicly anonymously denounce the people I don't agree with because I don't usually find myself overcompensating for anything.
Israel - Palestine conflict is not new. What's new is this one actor who everyone's expecting to say politically correct shit (which in his mind he might be doing just that 🤷‍♀️) and I believe that expecting this in and of itself is stupid and an easy way to pass the blame and do nothing at all to look good.
Palestinians right to self determination is not affected by what a nobody says. Nor is Israel's stance on continuing on with its policies of decades. The fact that people are busy harping on this one thing cuz apparently the only source of knowledge is insta and therefore maybe it seems like it's a must to react to whatever is seen on insta. Well, I cannot relate.
The fact that you or whoever if there are multiple anons find it necessary to approach me on anon so that I can be derisive towards him and that somehow it is the most important thing to discuss here - well, it is laughably easy to post while sitting in your home with food, water and power while others are wont to dangerously struggle for them. See how that works? My post is and has never been about Israel Palestine at all and was always in response to anon (and fandumb) who's been at it for a while.
Are we truly gonna say that he hasn't always be hated upon for things he's done and not done? Is there a comparable backlash against other celebs? That being said you now stop liking a celeb. Good for you. What does it achieve? Were you following them for their immense knowledge and wisdom of politics and geopolitical conflicts? Then I suggest you do not mourn the loss.
Also the fucking hypocrisy of everyone on this site to wake up like the Undertaker when it's israel/palestine (not even out of much real love for the people affected let me remind you as the argument is centered around fucking Noah schnapp/jewish celebs of all the people) and then no reaction to what happens in third world non-glamorous countries. (The glamorous here is Israel to be clear). And before you say well it's a reaction to what he said. Well there have been reactions based on what he should say or hasn't said, too. So like I'm judging y'all atp. Like what's the issue? Your heart bleeds for victims or does your mouth salivate over taking someone down with that pitchfork?
Why should I engage in an argument that's not based on what is says its about but the subject matter is celeb not the thing celeb is talking about. That being said I won't even be talking about the thing the celeb is talking about because there's shit happening in the world all the time and I have my opinions on all of them and I choose to keep them to myself lest people read what's not there and call me a genocidal dogwhister. There are 2 sides to a genocide. (And I'm not saying like 2 sides to a story. But a victim and a perpetrator) And the supporters of both sides will have unfortunate reading comprehension if it means they can take down a nobody in the business of nothing to make themselves feel morally superior.
So should he (Shawn and Noah) be more responsible or considerate or whatever? Idk. They can be or they can choose to show their ass. My respect (if any) for them never did rest on what their political beliefs were because, at the risk of appearing repetitive, I don't care.
I do care about the proxy hatred being spewed under the guise of sloganeering though. I'm way too used to it. It happens on the daily where I come from. I'm not gonna pretend y'all are angels. I see this for what it is.
So good on you for not supporting ST and staying true to your beliefs and code. That is always a respectable position to take. Sometimes people are just not in your position. Like you might not be in theirs. As you so pointed out.
TLDR: I trust celebs to post dumb shit. Where have you been to have expected differently?

A RANT:
THE NEON LEON
Tumblr media
(I) A rise to leadership
Pun intended bc Leo would love it
Has this been done yet? Of course, but i love ranting about my favorite characters and boy, rise tmnt has so much to rant about (well, the whole tmnt franchise has enough material to speak for HOURS buttt rise lives forever in my heart so yeah i'm biased). Might talk about mutant mayhem in the future idk.
Leonardo Hamato/Splinterson has always been the leader, the one that carries the weight of carrying the team and following splinter's steps as the next "head" of the family (as said by splinter in the 2012 tmnt). And yeah in much of the versions of the turtles, this is a very important aspect of his personality, it's his literal purpose; it's the catalyst for a lot of the narratives and storylines seen across the tmnt universe: His fights with Raph, his anxiety, his inferiority complex, his constant wish to be better, how he sometimes neglects (or simply goes against?)his brother's feelings in order to keep them and the team itself safe.
Being the leader is both the weight and medal that comes with being Leonardo, that sisyphean task that we will always see try to accomplish over and over again.
So if we want to explore why he is a great leader... shouldn't we take that weight off his shoulders?
And that my people, it's what rise does perfectly. The best way to prove that Leo is a great leader? To show us how he can handle the team from the shadows, let us see how well he knows his team's strengths and shortcomings.
But don't just make him want to be the leader, no no, show us why we should all trust him to.
First of all: Leo panicking at the face of danger, might be useful sometimes.
Honest to god: i think the rise writers and animators are amazing. They're so GOOD at showing us important pieces of the characters even without directly saying it.
First of all, he doesn't have a fight or flight response because he straight up waves his ōdachi directly at anything that attacks him and his brothers (bro has kill om sight sense, he literally sliced warren one time, remember?). He will always have the advantage, even when surprised. Also the way he lightens up the situation with his witty banter and one liners when stress is too much? Extra points for keeping team morale up👍
Or in a different case, leo's panic when the mad dogs get in trouble upon a stronger rival. Why is it great? Because even though he's losing his absolute shit, he's able to act and take the next conscious step; even when it's used for laughs: He calls for his father when his family is in danger. It may sometimes be a funny gag ; like in "Flushed but never forgotten" or soul fucking wrenching like when they're attacked by shredder and RAPH IS PROTECTING DONNIE AND LEO SCREAMS AND I- *ehem*. But he knows splinter it's capable of defending them, he trained them after all (this may be arguable when talking about season 1 splint but well, he still recognizes his father as a ninja and his master).
And thus, the next marvel of Leo:
B) He's completely aware of the team's abilities
He's a middle child, he has seen everything, and the most perfect example of it: Many unhappy returns.
BOY IF THAT'S NOT THE MOST AMAZING DEMONSTRATION OF LEO'S LEADERSHIP AND STRATEGY IDK WHAT ELSE YOU'RE LOOKING FOR
He trusts his siblings completely, sure he looks out for them and supports them when needed (while being sarcastic about it), but he knows they're amazing at the hero thing.
I wouldn't doubt it if Splinter; being with Leo most of the episode saw just how in control he was of the situation and went: "dude...why are you not the one leading the team? You're...actually so smart wtf????"
C)He knows how to dial down his brother's enthusiasm and calls out his father's faults (and sometimes hypocrisy)
Remember the paper thieves episode?
That's peak leader Leo
The whole team was full on trying to get killed for the lols, and what does he do? Pulls them to the side and explains why they should start with something more simple and gives a speech on why focusing on the "easier task" it's still a good hero job (look out for the small/weaker ones, right?)
Not only that, but he's the one that constantly calls out his dad's mess ups, remaining by his brother's side and defending them (THIS IS NOT A SPLINTER SLANDER, I'M SAD DAD SUPPORTER AND I WILL TALK ABOUT IT LATER) seen as one of the YouTube shorts or when splints nags then about keeping secrets from him: he stands for his team, "you are not supposed to do that/you do the same thing you yell at us for"
He both inspires and defends his team, and hey; a leader is not the one that orders, but the one that motivates and supports you.
D) He's their personal hype man
Cue back to point B, he is amazed by his siblings abilities, even if he dies hide it sometimes. Remember when mikey wanted to go on a solo mission? He's fully on board and never doubts mikey is in control of the situation (sure he does go to "save him" with the others later on but come on, you all heard the call and saw Raph panicking. He trusts him but he's still his little brother y'know?)
He knows Donnie is an absolutely genious and is completely aware of Raph's dedication to the hero gig and responsability.
April and Splints? He knows they're completely capable of holding their own and willingly helps them when the situation calls for it.
And this is it please be free to add anything you might like and tell me if i'm making sense??? Idk i just love him a lot😞
HECK EVEN CASEY, A LITERAL BOY HE JUST MET. He is aware of casey's passion and abilities; i mean, if his own future self trusts him as the only one capable to fix everything, why shouldn't he?
Conclusion: Leo quite literally grew to deserve the role of the leader.

This genocide has started way before oct 7th, israel is an occupying force that's been oppressing Palestinians for at least 50 years.
The 20% Palestinian population living in israel is subjected to apartheid, police violence and displacement from their homes.
They are not recognized as citizens, the ppl in gaza and the westbank cannot vote in israeli elections despite israel controlling those regions.
Gaza has been under siege for 16 years now. They've been controlling who goes in and out, Palestinians have to ask for permission to leave their cities even if they want to access medical care that isnt provided in gaza due to sanctions by israel.
Why does the financial interest of israel and its ally's trump the right of palestinian freedom? When the money they are making from military technologie is tested on the palestinians? Whats worse is that bombing of gaza has not just taken 33.000 lives, it has also poisoned and destroyed the land that israel claims it has a spiritual right to!
A land already drenched in the blood of thousands of palestinians spilled during and since the inception of israel in 1948. It has poisoned their future and made sure gaza will have to depend on aid for years and maybe even decades to come.
That is why Palestinians need to be able to return to their stolen land and they have a right to return home, even beyond legality israel is an ethno state that guarantees citizenship to -anyone- of the jewish faith even if they have no connection to the land.
What is the point of the UN and EU if we dont use our power to protect human rights everywhere, members of the UN like germany, france, USA and Britain actively funding the bombing of civilians, while claiming solidarity with the victims.
All this talking behind the scenes is doing nothing! Rn netanyahu is pulling back his forces from the south of gaza so they can take a nap, see their families, have a little snack and then go into rafah and kill the remaining 2.2 million Palestinians they told to flee there.
I am ashamed to be paying taxes in germany when that money is used for destruction instead of for the german population and I'm sick of the hypocrisy of western powers who have been exploiting africa and the middle east for decades while simultaneously condemning any and all resistance by the ppl they've oppressed labeling them terrorists.
Is the german state not a terrorist organization? Isnt the USA? Isnt NATO? Why is it that only the people that fight back against their opression with the same violence they've been shown by you are labeled terrorists.
Why was it so easy for you to condemn Russia in its attack on ukraine but you cant condemn israel for this genocide? I can tell you why, because Russia is an enemy and israel is a friend of yours. You only condemn oppressive states when it serves you and when the victims are white.
And while Netanyahu is a tyrant that needs to be dethroned dont be fooled, the issue with Israel is not Netanjahu, racist israeli society is what allowed a monster like him to power. His opposition are zionists just like him that are gleefully watching gaza be turned to dust and are happy to take over once netanyahu steps down, blame only him for the genocide and return to the status quo of opression of the west bank and gaza. 70% of israelis think the military actions taken in gaza are justified and the reason for that is because the only way to rationalize the existence of israel in Palestinian land is by assuming every palestinian is a threat to jewish life, that way no amount of cruelty is unjustified and can be done in self defense.
Why is it so hard to call this a genocide when Israeli officials have clearly stated on multiple occasions that their plan is to eliminate the possiblity of a palestinian state by killing or displacing the Palestinians, idf soldiers are filming snuff films and gleefully parade around womens underwear they stole out of the homes of the dead. How can you support a country like that?
When that support is putting world peace in danger by signaling that all these international laws here to protect us are all just suggestions you can ignore if you have enough money and allies.
U ask us to condemn hamas when u wont condemn the anti-apartheid state of israel, when hamas wouldnt exist without opression of the palestinians by israel.
While u sit in government trying to placate us with useless discussions and pretty words , children are being blown to pieces or left completely orphaned and severely physically and mentally disabled. Do u understand the impact this will have on the palestinian ppl even after this genocide ends? Do u really think they wont grow up hateful and resentful towards Israel? And can u blame them when they do? Now noone is arguing that hamas shouldnt be prosecuted for the human rights violations on oct 7th, however this one sided war on terror that doesnt rightfully classify the acts of western powers and their extensions in the middle east and africa as terror is hypocritical and an insult to our intelligence. This is not an equal struggle between israel and hamas, it is an ethnic cleansing of palestinians.
And to the media and politicians bastardizing the meaning of antisemitism, Criticizing Israel is not antisemitic, and saying that israel and jews are one and the same is what actually promotes antisemitism. Israel is a country and like every country it has to abide by international law,
Israel has been lying to its visitors and citizens since its inception, the jews who come to visit and the jewish israelis have been made to believe by zionists that israel is the only place they can be safe from antisemitism. But that couldnt be further from the truth, by israel declaring itself synonymous with the jewish ppl and their struggle while committing atrocities they are putting the global jewish community at risk and feeds the antisemitic conspiracy theories of a jewish opressive elite. We dont need an ethno state that pretends all jews are homogeneous, what we need is to make sure that jewish ppl are safe worldwide
Europe made this world unsafe for jews, Arabs and jews are not enemies,we are allies, my father grew up in a jewish neighboorhood in morroco and my best friend is jewish, she is my heart and she is my soul and I will not allow israel to drag her name and the name of jews through the mud!
A permanent ceasefire is not an end of what we demand and what the palestinians deserve, it is the bare minimum. And we will not allow the world to quietly reinstate support for israel after this genocide is over, we want an end to apartheid an end to occupation! We want palestinian freedom, from the river to the sea. We want right of return from the river to the sea, and we want a palestine where israelis and Palestinians have equal rights, from the river to the sea!

wow thank you again for the great reply. i honestly never knew gender dysphoria could be like that so please forgive my ignorance. i was aware of it's existence but like we both said, my not being trans will never truly understand your being trans. i also appreciate the analogies because that does put it into perspective as well. Suicide of course should be prevented, and if transitioning is truly the only way to prevent it, then Allah knows best.
religious trauma is something i greatly identify with - having attended a Muslim school and being subjected to blatant misogyny as well as being the daughter of a revert who married into a culturally Muslim family, and growing up in a household that didn't really practice either - i totally understand why queer Muslims may feel distant from Islam and I do not judge them whatsoever because someone leaving the folds of Islam truly says more about their community. However, what I learnt from my own trauma and healing from that is that at the end of the day, we do have our own choices and we can choose whether to open our hearts back to the religion or not. ofc this statement is easier said than done.
Regarding queerness and children - I did not word myself correctly and forgot to mention what you have mentioned. I don't believe that being queer is inherently sexual and I apologize if it came out that way. You are right in saying people don't have a problem when heterosexual people make assumptions but will immediately have a problem when someone who is non-hetero does. It is hypocrisy and I admit that, I am not against children learning about people who are queer or even what queer means, my concerns are merely with people who hypersexualise under the guise of being lgbtq+ activists and in the same breath I will say that I feel the same way about heterosexual people who sexualise kids.
Where I stand, as long as Bi'dah is not committed, for example, free mixing in salah or roles of men and women interchanging when it comes to the practices of Islam, I genuinely have no qualms with anyone.
I have honestly learnt so much more in these two replies than I have learnt through media and discussions with people who identify as part of the community and for that i am truly grateful. many of your points allowed me to question my own perspective of queerness as well as to challenge myself regarding how I actually view people who are different than myself.
All in all, my stance on lgbtq+ hasn't changed much in the sense that I can agree with anything and everything that the community preaches but I have become more aware that not everyone who belongs to it shares the same opinions and not every Muslim who is queer/non-hetero hates or blatantly chooses to reject Islam. I do think that this discussion has been fruitful and it's a conversation I'm glad to have had, especially since it's civil, hopefully from both our perspectives.
Allah truly knows best, regardless of my view or your view and we all are Muslim and hopefully striving towards the end goal in the Hereafter. We should focus on the issues on hand and spread Islam through its meaning and not on our own prejudice because you as a queer Muslim may be doing much more good than I, a heterosexual Muslim, am currently.
Thank you for the discussion and may Allah bless you ♥️
no worries thank you so much for being so respectful and understanding! most muslims i meet aren't willing to listen to people they don't agree with so it's very refreshing that you're being so open to trying to listen to me. it's very heartwarming :)
alhamdulillah i'm glad you understand the struggles of being trans and how queer muslims may stray away from islam because of religious trauma. and you're absolutely right that at the end of the day, allah knows best and it is always up to the person to choose the right path for them.
and thank you for clarifying your stance on the whole children situation. and yes you are correct that people do use the lgbtq+ community to try to get away with stuff that is deemed unacceptable! unfortunately the community is facing hardship because people are abusing the openness and acceptance of the community and sometimes are using it as an excuse to do bad things, which most people in the queer community condemn and are actively trying to fight against! and even then, those situations are kept to a minimum and are handled as best as possible, and the occurrence of those problems are not as common as people think, actually. but i do understand how you may be concerned and that's totally fine, but i want to assure you that it's not common at all and most of the lgbtq+ community want to protect kids as much as possible!
i don't have much of an opinion on bi'dah and whatnot, but your beliefs are very valid and i totally respect them as well :)
i'm so happy that i could help educate you and give you insight about how queerness affects me and other muslims. i'm so glad that you were open to listening. it's totally okay if my insight hasn't changed your opinions very much, i'm just glad to have been able to be given an opportunity to share my perspective as a queer muslim. and you are right that the muslim community as a whole must drop their prejudices and all reach to strive for jannah in the afterlife. inshallah we can all have good discussions like we did in jannah as well :)

I have 2 more of the same requests for this one so I'm counting them for this blurb as well:) Thank you for your patience!
Tumblr media
Warnings: mentions of cheating!
You'd been with your now husband since college and while he wasn't an awful guy, he was completely complacent after you got married. He stopped looking after you and the relationship you had and it was making you feel really lonely and insecure. He made you feel more like a burden than a life partner. You had plans with him and he was bailing on all of them, he started pushing off trying for a baby even and once you confronted him about this he assured you he'd be better but then he just got "really busy" at work and just did whatever he could to minimize running into you at home. You suspected an affair, but you couldn't find proof for months.
Over the holidays he mentioned that he needed you to go to his office Christmas party with him. Of course you'd go and it was going well until he said something came up with a client and he needed to sort it out quickly. You knew a few of the people he worked with so you hung around, but when he started taking a bit too long you had gone down to his office to look for him and that's when you saw him with one of his co-workers...well, he was sucking the other guy off and this shocked you because you had no idea that he was even into men. You kept this to yourself and decided to try and get him to admit that he was having an affair, but no matter what you did he would always work around it in some way and you just needed some help with this.
You decided to talk to one of your closest friends about this, Harry. You and Harry had a history all on your own. To him, you'd always be the one that got away. He had been in love with you since you guys were 17. He'd just never really done anything about his feelings for you until it was too late. Your husband didn't like Harry though and so once you were married he asked you to not bring him around and you talked to Harry about it and he was respectful, but you two still spoke and well, he seemed like the best person to talk about this to. You explained what you saw and how you felt about it and well you maybe had a little too much to drink and you ended up making out. And it felt so good to finally act on the tension that brewed between you two for years. One thing led to another and you slept together and you felt awful, even even if you knew your husband was having an affair you didn't want to do the same thing to him. So when you got home you decided that you'd tell him that you'd been with someone else, obviously not Harry, as he already had it in for him. But he blew up on you, acted like you'd done the worst thing in the world and his hypocrisy angered you. You told him that you'd seen something at his Christmas party and he lost his mind on you, so much so that you left your home for the night because you just couldn't be around him anymore.
He was worried about you telling his friends or his family, but you'd never do that. And even told him that if he didn't love you, you could end things but he promised he could get better and stop the affair, but it was all a lie. So you started to sleep with Harry and it's been a year now and you and your husband have mastered the art of pretending while being in a completely loveless marriage.
Harry was happy to have you back in his life regularly, but the circumstance was messed up. He loved you but this relationship with you was absolutely draining him. He was helping you deal with all of this and it seemed like you only needed him for sex and to vent. He couldn't say no though...having you in this capacity was better than before when you'd see each other every couple of months. His feelings for you had never changed and they were leading him to care about you more than his own wellbeing. He wanted to talk to you about the future, he didn't just want to be your secret, he wanted to be with you for real. So he decided to take the chance one Sunday morning.
"Morning, baby." you hummed as you walked into the bathroom while he was brushing his teeth.
"Morning." he responded as best as he could through his toothbrush as you came up behind him.
"Smell's amazing." you hummed as you kissed the back of his shoulder through his robe and he leaned down to spit out the toothpaste.
"Yeah, made a special breakfast for us."
"Special how?" you asked as you let go of him to watch him through the mirror and he held up a finger as he finished up.
"Special as in it's cute so hurry up and get down there." he said and you agreed and hurry to freshen up. By the time you got downstairs Harry had served up your plates and you coffee and you two ate as you made plans for the rest of your day.
"Thank you, everything was delicious." you said with a grateful smile and a full tummy.
"Of course, baby." he hummed happily as he placed his hand over yours and ran his thumb over your knuckles, you didn't have your wedding ring on and this brought him to the topic he needed to talk to you about. "I also was hoping to talk to you about something." he said and you nodded with a smile, "I guess I just want to know where we stand, you know? Obviously, you know how I feel about you, but we can't keep doing this forever, you know? Like...I know you're in a tough spot, but this is starting to take a toll, love." he explained and you frowned.
"A toll?"
"Yeah, like on me. Emotionally and mentally...like I can't talk to anyone about you or about us because you're married. And like...I want to be able to be able to have all of the normal couple things with you but I can't. I guess I'm just wondering what comes next." he said and you sighed.
"I don't know, Harry." you said honestly and he frowned a bit, "Please, don't look at me like that..." you said sadly.
"Baby, this is just really hard for me, OK?"
"And it's not for me?" you asked and he sighed.
"I'm not saying that. I'm just explaining to you what I'm feeling. I just feel like this is not fair to me because we're the ones in a relationship. You and your husband don't even have that anymore. Like...I just want to understand why neither of you have taken any steps to get a divorce." he said and you sighed.
"Harry, that's not any of your business." you said and he looked at you completely perplexed.
"Ummm, how is it not my business? I've been your secret side piece for a year, Y/N!" He frowned in frustration and you sighed.
"You know it's not like that-"
"It is like that! Every day you don't choose I'm putting my life on hold! You don't think I want to get married and have kids and build a life with someone?" he asked you sadly.
"I want those things too!"
"Then what are you waiting for?" he asked you, "Your husband isn't going to give that to you. He's gay, Y/N. You know this now-"
"His family can't know about that though and-"
"Just because you get divorced it doesn't mean he has to come out if he's not ready. And maybe his partner is OK with being a secret for the rest of his life, but I'm not." he said and you sighed and shook your head.
"Harry, you're being kind of selfish right now-"
"I'm being selfish?!" he interrupted you in complete disbelief, "I have been choosing you over me every single day for a year now! I have put aside my morals for you-"
"No one asked you to do that!" you said back and he sighed and covered his face with his hands for a moment before looking at you again.
"You're right. You're absolutely right." he said quietly.
"I just need more time, Harry." you said softly.
"OK, but we're not doing this until you figure that out." he said firmly.
"What?" you asked him with a frown.
"You said yourself that I've also decided to keep this going and I'm deciding not to. You know it's wrong, and as happy as I am to even have a sliver of you in my life, I can't keep doing this! It hurts me! You're hurting me! You don't care that you're hurting me?"
"I didn't know I was. I'm sorry. We don't have to break up though-"
"We're not breaking up because we're not anything, remember? You said no label." he reminded and you frowned.
"Right..." you whispered sadly. You had forgotten about that and started to realize just how this was unfair towards him and you felt awful, "I'm sorry, Harry. I'm going to make this right as soon as possible." you said and he sighed.
"I appreciate that, but I just...I need you to take care of that first before we continue seeing each other." he said again and you sighed.
"Fine." you agreed. After that conversation you just needed to go handle your personal shit. You packed your things and decided to head home. Harry walked you to your car and you hugged him tight and he hugged you back, "I'm really sorry, Harry. I promise I'll make this right." you assured him and he sighed.
"I can't imagine how hard this will be, but I promise you that I will be right here for you, waiting." he said and you sighed shakily, "Waiting for you like I always have been." he said softly with so much hurt but hope in his heart.
