Thinking about Peter's absolute cry of anguish after the final boss battle when he finds Harry unresponsive. Thinking about how all he can say is I'm sorry. Thinking about the fact that in Peter's head it was him at May's side sobbing I'm sorry. Thinking about how "with great power comes great responsibility" can never be separated from the guilt Peter feels. Thinking about how that guilt extends to May. How it extends to Ben. How it cripples Peter so much that he tells Miles that he can't do this again. Thinking about Peter's voice as he'd begged Harry to fight - pleaded with him to not make him do this. Thinking about how when consumed with the symbiote Peter had screeched out I'm the hero, I don't get saved! Thinking about how that's not just pride, how that's not just responsibility, how it's guilt. How it's always been Peter and the weight of the world, the life of his loved ones, and their blood on his hands. And now it's Harry's and Peter just breaks. Always the hero, he's done the right thing, but this time it's the last straw. His best friend. The last sacrifice Peter Parker can take...
...and it's then... that Miles saves him.

something i've already posted about in the past but am thinking about again because of the conversations in this episode is that i still truly do not understand bells hells'(well, particularly ashton's) view on what is going to happen if the information about aeor gets sent out to the people of exandria. obviously, i'm not an average person living in that world and am instead a viewer of the media with fairly extensive knowledge of the lore, so i could definitely just be missing what the impact would actually be! but the insistence that it would be a world shattering revelation that completely turns everyone against the odds just... doesn't make sense to me?
unless ludinus has a way of editing the information he presents and can take away the context, which would basically make the "footage" even more strange, what they're going to be seeing is... the gods saving themselves from people with the active ability to murder them all and having a rather humanizing crisis of what they should do about it? i guess the working with the betrayer gods part could be considered the controversial aspect of it, but overall, considering everything else that was destroyed in the calamity, aeor really was the one instance that was closest to being "justified". i don't think anyone who cares enough about the gods for this to cause any sort of big disruption of faith would have as big of a problem with it as they are assuming, nor do i really think it's something that would cause mass revolts against the gods in people who aren't devout.

Genuinely hope q slime gets pissy and angry at the others LMAO
Like the hypocrisy is insane. Hes been mocked for MONTHS even when he wanted to help the others with stuff, but the second he asks “how do you know theyll come back” HE DOESNT GET TO ASK BC JUANAFLIPPA IS BACK? AS IF IT ISNT APPARENT SHE IS FUNDAMENTALLY DIFFERENT AND Q SLIME HAS STARTED TO PHYSICALLY DETEORATE????
What did he do to deserve this like genuinely?
I hope this man snaps and calls the others out bc wtf is this 😭

hey guys. btw. cause it seems like some people (especially in the game changer tag) are maybe forgetting. um. brennan isn’t actually the main character of dropout. or game changer. there are other people on the shows too, actually.
[edit: this is the least complete version of this post, please look in the notes for actual discussion lmao]

The fact that nothing is probably going to happen to Horner after what he's done is one of the reasons women are so mad all the time
Because even when we come forward, there's rarely anything done to actually hold these people accountable

and now back to bkdk thoughts, during izuku's interaction with aoyama, even bogged down with feelings of betrayal and distraughtness, he still took the time to think about the feelings of the other person once they shared their inner feelings. during KvD2 after katsuki broke down, izuku then knew the semi right way to respond to him.
izuku is such a kind person, he's already forgiven people before they even mutter sorry 🙄.
finally in ch 423 he states he can't forgive afo so conversely that implies he's long forgiven kacchan if not the apology would have ended on a drastically different note.
katsuki is so blessed to get another chance with this angel😭 and he knows it.
