It is literally my Roman Empire, except it's set on a moon of a planet that I'm calling Jupiter as a placeholder (but please note that it isn't actually Jupiter, as Jupiter is a gas giant and therefore a scientifically impossible setting for large sections of the plot).

Alter Ego: A superhero fic in which not-so-mild-mannered reporter Drew Derrick fights for mutant rights and can't seem to get his act together when it comes to keeping the complicated parts of his life separate.

Untitled Fantasy Project: The very first project I ever wrote, and the piece I return to every so often when writing is feeling more like a slog than a fun hobby. I set a lot of one-offs in this world and follow a few key characters around without them having a real plot.

D&D: I write a lot about Baz, my Wild Magic Barbarian. He's a regency noble with a lot of problems, and I care about him very much. I also have various other settings and characters, but he's my most active PC at the moment and therefore gets the most attention.

Um…hello! Your art is like a HUGE inspiration to me how you draw everyone is so unique, I love it! So I just wanted to ask what inspired you and your art to what it is today?

oh my gosh, thank you! :D :D :D I've been feeling pretty down about my art lately, so this was a super nice message to wake up to! one of the easiest traps to fall into is forgetting that other people are seeing your art without all the baggage and hangups that your brain has given it, and sometimes...they might actually like it? hmm. 🤔 (seriously though, that really is incredible to hear, thank you! 💕)

inspiration is really really hard to put into words. so I apologize if none of this makes sense! :') a lot of it comes from looking at things I like, trying to break down what it is that I like about them, and smooshing all those pieces together into some kind of amalgamated homunculus. I'll see something that uses a lot of straights vs curves, go "ooh", and then just start throwing those in there until it is fully absorbed into the gelatinous mess that is Developing An Artstyle. or I'll see some pretty soft-style shading, go "ooh", and then decide I'm not meshing with it and try something else. just, like, being open and trying different things and seeing what sticks, I guess!

overall, I would say I was mostly shaped by the Western media landscape of the early 2000s, when anime was becoming more mainstream and starting to show influence on Western cartoons; I think particular works that influenced me were Sailor Moon, Utena, the works of Takahashi Rumiko, Samurai Jack, Batman Beyond, and Bone. (there's also the French movie Princes et Princesses -- which is itself a homage to The Adventures of Prince Achmed -- which...yeah, you can basically take one look at it and see the effect it had on me.) and there are probably a lot of other things that I didn't consciously realize!

on a more philosophical level, one of my teachers once said to me that "the art that you like to look at isn't necessarily the art that you should be doing". which is something I try to hold onto! I had been trying really hard at the time to be, like, a more realistic traditional-style painter, and was getting really frustrated because that kind of art isn't fun for me to do. it wasn't until I gave myself permission to actually try out different things and not lock myself into what I thought was the kind of art I should be doing, that I realized I actually just like drawing little dudes making weird faces at each other! (I definitely still have some hangups about this, but I am getting better at it! ...I hope!)

You just watched his hands as he popped open the bottle, pouring the red liquid into two wine glasses. He brought them over, placing one in front of you, before sitting across from you. You gave him a short “thank you” before taking a sip of the wine. He did the same, savoring the taste. “Have you enjoyed your day then?” You asked him, trying to kill the silence. 

He nodded. “I have. It’s been… nice.”

You sighed, as he once again missed a perfectly good shot to say something cheeky. So you decided to do it for him. “I know what would make it a lot better,” you said, standing from your seat, sitting now on the table in front of him, seductively. You sat up a bit, now looking at him. “More than being asked to actually come home with you, I was worried you’d never ask me to be your girlfriend,” you laughed. He also laughed with you, covering his face with an embarrassed grown. You snuggled up to him once again. “Yunho, it would be an actual dream come true to be your girlfriend.” He leaned down kissing your lips, sealing the deal. “Goodnight Birthday Boy.”

When I saw an endverse story up for claims in this year's @deancashorrorfest — particularly one exploring the beginnings of how it all came to be — I knew I had to get my grubby, greedy hands on it. When I found out it was written by none other than @valleydean, I may have made some hqppy screeching noises to rival Castiel's true voice. Getting to do art for one of my favorite writers is always exciting, if sometimes anxiety-inducing, but I ended up having an absolute blast working on these with Mallory and am really happy with how they turned out. Thank you for being such an amazing partner to work with, and I'm so excited for everyone else getting to read the story now!

Thank you as well to @kingdumbass for organizing Horrorfest once again, and creating one of my favorite little Destiel communities on the net. It's always a ton of fun and I love how you keep the server going & engaging year round.

Some rambling comments on the art & my process below the cut.

As usual these were all done in watercolor with a little bit of black & white acrylic pen work for fine details and lines. I used rough/cold press paper for all of these to keep a consistent feeling and because it's always my favorite for doing any portraits and where I want a lot of blending control.

The hardest thing for me was deciding which of the many memorable scenes and moments I wanted to illustrate in the time I had available. I had a pretty clear vision for the title art early on: to show Dean & Cas at the beginning of it all, with a collage of elements of destruction behind them and doing the title text in the "Croatoan graffiti" style. There were a bunch of different reference shots combined for that one: screencaps from 5x04, a later-season shot of Dean & Cas walking together to get their positions how I wanted, etc. My Cas "face" reference was actually from Stonehenge Apocalypse as I wanted him looking a little more human/hopeful than standard s4-5 Cas as he's pretty low on grace but still has a little "angel mojo" left.

(As Mallory commented when I shared it as a WIP, "That's a man who's about to be destroyed!" :D D:)

I'm also really glad I was able to get the painting to Mallory at DC-Con! You can see in the pic that it's pretty big (16"x20") to get all that detail in!

For the next piece, there's a small scene of Dean and Cas on the road under smoke-filled skies, past a "God Saves" billboard that just struck me. I'd just driven out to Pittsburgh and back on the PA Turnpike so used some quick reference snaps I took combined with photos of the hazy skies from the Canadian wildfires earlier this year to get the atmosphere I wanted. I tried to keep some of the same washed-out colors and feeling of the title piece for that, save the color of the sky.

For the rest, I wanted to do one piece each of Cas and Dean at critical moments in their journey through the story. Cas facing himself in the shattered glass of a pharmacy cabinet was a moment I knew I had to try to capture. It reminded me of that amazing shot of Misha in Gotham Knights, with Harvey and the smashed mirror, so that was definitely in my mind as a visual reference.

Cas himself is a combination of some Purgatory screencaps and some out-of-character Misha pics from here and there to get his hair the way I wanted it to look (even if I ended up painting over most of it with interference silver watercolor to create the effect of the shattered glass. Here's an in-progress look:

The Dean rooftop piece is one I'd had in my head as soon as I read the passage in the story, but it was the last piece I tackled. The city in flames behind Dean was pretty much done in one shot as a spontaneous wet-in-wet wash...though it was a little eerie and unsettling working on it this past week with current events playing out on the tv while I painted.

Finally, I really wanted to do a piece showing Dean and Cas as they are near the end of the story compared to how they started out. This one came together in a really fast burst of inspiration - I think one day drawing and two days painting because it's smaller than the others (12"x6") and I wanted it to be really close up and intimate. For the Texas Chainsaw Massacre Fanworks Event Day 4- Hobbies

Bubba gets to stay in his corner of Texas Battle Land and do what makes him happy, which currently, is to draw.

A long time ago, an art set with some markers and crayons got left behind at the gas station. It was no use there, so it was brought home, where after some arguing, it was decided Bubba could keep it. The twins were being too mean about it, so they weren’t allowed to have it.

Not that it was anything fancy. The set is mostly basic colors and a couple of the markers were dry when they got them, but the beauty isn’t the part that Bubba likes the most.

Even now that it’s been years and the supplies have been worn down to colorful stubs, the part Bubba really likes is the process.

Something about the wispy sound the paper makes on the table, and the hollow scritchy-scratches of the crayons leaving their marks behind, really helps to calm Bubba.

That’s more important now than ever before, having something to do when things get tense. Really it’s that way more often than not, now that they moved away from their old house.

Coloring reminds Bubba a little of putting on makeup.

As in, it’s not really being pretty that makes them like makeup, as much as it is taking care of themself and expressing the bright colors they feel on the inside. The pretty result is just a bonus.

The precision of holding coloring supplies or makeup brushes is a little hard to master, but that makes it fun and rewarding every single time. Even if his lipstick gets a little crooked, or the lines of his drawing go a bit wobbly.

There are lots of pictures that have been crumpled up and hidden away over the years. Pictures of Bubba with tears on her face with fire and blood and monsters in the background. Monsters that looked a lot more like Drayton than they did the kind of monsters that break into their house.

But that’s not really the fun part. Those are the ones Bubba has to draw because of not being able to speak those feelings out loud. Like a filter for all the yucky emotions he has.

The part Bubba prefers though is drawing flowers and animals and pretty clothes. Anything with lots of bright color, to bring something other than deep coppery red into this life.

Bubba’s most favorite part though is when the finished products get displayed somewhere in the house, be that pinned above the stove or placed into a frame and hung up on a rafter.

There’s an extra special picture that lives right above the supper table on the big stone pillar just to the side.

It wasn’t the first piece of art Bubba drew with the art set, and it wasn’t the best either, but it was the most meaningful.

See, with the family split apart and fighting, it was often that Bubba’s pictures would be one or two of the Sawyer siblings at a time. Whoever was getting along. Maybe whoever had been nice to him that day.

This one though, was of all the Sawyers, including their grandpa and gramma, out in the yard, posed on the front steps of their old house like it was a photo. They’d never gotten a photo like that before Nubbins had to leave forever.

That’s something Bubba is sure of, because the family kept all of Nubbins’ pictures. They’d helped Chop Top look through them one at a time, and found most of them being of random adventures, things they couldn’t piece together without him there.

Bubba knew her brother wasn’t coming back, so she wanted to make a special picture. One where everyone got along again.

There’s tear stains in the corner. Bubba turned them into flowers and hoped nobody noticed.

If they did, they didn’t say anything. Chop Top told him he’d done a good job with the colors. Grandpa didn’t say anything, but Bubba knew that if he could, he would’ve said something nice.

The really funny thing is, Drayton didn’t say anything either. That’s rare.

His eyes got a little red, and his lips curled into a weird shaky frown, but he didn’t say a word. Bubba was scared he didn’t like it and tried to take it back, so he could keep it.

That earned him a smack.

Chop Top patted Bubba’s shoulder and told them they’d draw a new picture together. A better one.

Except they didn’t need to. Because at supper that night, there it was, hanging right above the empty chair, and the lonely table setting that was always provided with a red soda pop.

They were more quiet than usual. Even Chop Top, who hadn’t really been quiet ever since Bubba was allowed to call him by his real name. Not that he could help it, with the head wound and all.

Inside though, Bubba was smiling. Sure, he didn’t have a perfect dark brown crayon to get everyone’s hair the right color, and he didn’t have the exact shade of tan that matched those pants Nubbins always liked to wear, but he felt proud of the picture anyways in the end.

Sometimes special is enough.

At least for the Sawyer boys- who aren’t very good with words, and who don’t always get along, and who definitely mess up a lot- special is the best they’re gonna get.

It’s the heart that counts, and heart is something Bubba Sawyer is just overflowing with.

Today, they’re drawing a picture of Nubbins and them holding hands and skipping down the long driveway they raced as kids. The same one that was stained with Nubbins’ blood after the accident.

Bubba is older now and knows what really happened. That Nubbins didn’t actually just leave. Maybe that’s why she likes to draw him so much.

This specific drawing is for their collection though. Their brothers will understand that.

Sister's Best Friend - LN4

Lando was 14 when his older sister brought home her best friend, Y/n. he was 14 and Y/n was 20. she was one of the most beautiful woman that he had ever seen, he still thought that up to this day, after ten years that they knew each other and he had been crushing on her.

it's been 10 years since they met the first time. at that time she didn't even spare him a glance, as she should, since she was 20 and he was 14. but as time passed Lando kept thinking about her, he was getting older and he was only waiting for her to give him a chance.

his heart broke in a million pieces when Y/n got a boyfriend, he couldn't believe that the love of his life was interested in another man, how could she do that to him. the only thing that he wasn't thinking about is the fact that she didn't even know he had a crush on her, and the fact that he was still 18 and she was 24.

Lando's already shuttered heart cracked a bit more when Y/n announced to their family that she was getting married with her boyfriend, Theo0, and they were all invited. it was in 2019, he was 20, she was 26, and he was determined to get ready and be absolutely stunning at their wedding.

at the wedding

Lando was standing in a corner, his drink in hand, as he watched Y/n dance with Theo in the middle of the dance floor, everyone present at the wedding making a circle around them, but for some reason he could watch them have their happy moment so clearly, it was like the universe was making fun of him.

"why so sad, kiddo?"

Noah, Y/n's younger brother asked him, hooking an arm around his shoulder.

"come on, I'm just 3 years younger than you"

Lando bit back, taking a long sip from his drink as he rolled his eyes.

"hey, 3 years are a lot"

Noah said, making Lando nervous. if 3 years were a lot, 6 were too many.

"anyway, why do you look so sad, huh?"

he asked again. in that exact moment Lando decided that he was gonna let everything out.

"listen, I like your sister, since I was 14, since the first time that I saw her. I believe she's the love of my life, but here I am, at her wedding with another man"

Lando finally said, making the other man take a little step back, unhooking his arm from the driver's shoulder and staring at him with wide eyes.

"damn, man. are you fine?"

the older genuelly asked, as Lando let out a big sigh, going back to staring at the happy couple in the center of the dance floor.

"I'm not fucking fine. but she looks so happy"

the driver replied sincerely, staring at the love of his life smiling up to another man. he was okay with seeing her happy for now, he was only gonna wait for her to realize that he was waiting for her.

to the present

it was after one of his practices, he came back to his apartment, impatient to get ready and go to his sister house. she was throwing a little party there, they would have dinner all together and Y/n was gonna be there, without her husband.

he got the keys in the door lock, twisting them around and entering his apartment casually. his eyes met Y/n's puffy eyes, as she was sitting on his couch in his living room, almost making him let out a scream. he forgot that he gave her the spare key to his apartment in case of anything happening.

Y/n was there, seated in his apartment. her make-up was leaving long black strikes on her cheeks as she cried, a cute dress hugging her curves in a way that got him weak in his knees and a pair of high heels on her feet.

Lando slowly made his way towards the woman, crouching down in front of her to make her look at him in the eyes.

"what's going on, sweetheart?"

he asked, used to using that nickname with her, as she always used it with him, since the first time they met. Lando earned that nickname since he was always in his best behavior when Y/n was around.

when the driver didn't get any reply, he placed his hand on the side of Y/n's cheek, softly trying to clean the make-up smeared all over her cheek, having no success.

"could you tell me what's happening, please?"

he pleaded gently, slowly making the woman look up towards him.

"Theo"

she whispered. Lando knitted his eyebrows, his jaw clenching without him even noticing.

"what did he do?"

the seriousness in his voice couldn't be masked or go unnoticed, but he still tried to not make her see it.

"he's cheating"

her voice cracked, her hand came up to her face, as she covered her mouth so that she wouldn't make any sound. Lando's fingers wrapped around Y/n's wrist, pulling her hand away from her face and wrapping his arms around her figure.

"oh, sweetheart"

he whispered, rage was pumping through his veins; this asshole was dating the woman of his dreams, a figure that turned heads, a face like a doll and the best personality ever, and he dares to cheat on her? what the fuck?

Lando forced himself to just be sweet and console Y/n that was crying on his shoulder, trying his best to not feel happy about them probably divorcing.

his hand reached for her cheek again, pulling away reluctantly as he wiped the tears away from her cheek.

"he doesn't deserve you, okay? you deserve someone to worship you and love you like it's the end of the world, Y/n"

Lando whispered, both his hands on her cheeks now, his thumbs caressing her skin softly. he wasn't getting any reply, so he just kept going.

"listen, we will get you cleaned, this beautiful face can't get ruined like this. then we will get into my car, drive around a bit since we have so much time left before Selene's dinner and then you will have a calm dinner and be fine, alright?"

he explained his little plan to Y/n, getting a little nod in return as she was finally about to stop crying, a few sobs still showing up a few times.

"can I pick you up?"

Lando softly asked, as Y/n nodded her head hesitantly. the driver placed one arm behind her back and one behind her knees, picking her up in bridal style, making Y/n wrap her arms around his neck.

he made his way towards his bedroom, walking into his bathroom and softly placing Y/n onto the bathroom sink. she sat there with her hands placed onto the sink beside her thighs, her shoulders raising from the pressure.

"I'll get make-up remover and some pads"

Y/n nodded at his statement, not even questioning why he got make-up remover and pads in his apartment when he lives alone. Y/n was kind of assuming that he had a lot of girls over, when in reality Lando was only waiting for this to happen, for her to realize that he was waiting for her and showing up to his house unannounced.

he placed everything on the sink next to her, taking one of the pads and getting some make-up remover onto it.

"can I do it?"

Lando asked, concerned that he would mess things up between them, but he got a nod in return. he gently placed the pad over her cheek and started wiping the pad around, careful not to ruin her actual make-up who surprisingly was still intact. Y/n closed her eyes, enjoying every touch of his fingers on her face as she finally felt cared for after a year.

the driver wiped the make-up from her other cheek too, finally seeing her face clean after all that undeserved crying. the woman opened her eyes, eventually realizing the proximinity of their faces, but she still didn't back off.

their faces kept getting closer with time passing, making Y/n gulp and realize something: she was about to kiss her best friend's younger brother, she couldn't go on, the guilt would have eaten her up from the inside. so she backed off abruptly.

"I'm sorry, but we can't... you're sister is my best friend"

she whispered, her eyes looking anywhere but him.

"no, no- I know, I'm so sorry"

Lando replied, his hands fidgeting with his clothes as he looked down to the floor, not daring to look her in the eyes.

"do you... still wanna drive around a bit?"

he hesitantly asked, his eyes slowly searching for hers, still not knowing if she would be cool about what just happened.

"uhm, yeah- I mean, we had a plan, right?"

she replied, it was almost a whisper. with that sentence only she got him smiling like an idiot from ear to ear.

"yeah"

he practically beamed.

at the dinner

the dinner was over, everyone was slowly going home but Y/n and Lando. Y/n was gonna stay at Selene's house for a little sleep over, since Y/n's husband wasn't there at the moment and Selene's husband was out in a business trip.

Y/n was leaning on the balcony railings with her elbows, enjoying the nice view, when Lando got in the balcony and leaned on the railing next to her.

"hey"

he whispered softly, the look on Y/n's face was giving it all away, he could see in her eyes that she had something to talk about with someone and he promised himself that if Y/n needed someone to hear her out he would be there. so he just asked.

"do you have something you have to talk about?"

Lando asked gently, tiptoeing around the subject and the situation to get her to talk about what was going on.

"you know- I'm just... frustrated"

she replied, without even looking him in the eyes and passing an hand through her silky hair, bringing them back.

"for five months, he didn't want anything to do with me, and now I understand why?"

Y/n finally left out, leaving Lando a little bit confused about the situation.

"anything to do with you? but he was always around when you were here or at mine"

he said, trying to understand whatever she was explaining to him, only to get a small sigh in return from the older woman.

"intimacy, Lando"

she explained fully, as he finally understood what she was trying to say and nodded his head. he placed his hands on the railing as he distanced himself from it.

"ooh- just so you know, Y/n, there's someone out there that is willing to die to fuck you"

Lando finished, leaving a long kiss on Y/'s cheek and turning around to walk out the door and drive back to his place, hoping in his heart that Y/n would ditch his sister to go to him.

after a while, at Selene's house

Selene and Y/n were doing their night routine, putting on creams and everything that their skin needed to keep being healthy, as Y/n was explaining what was happening with her husband to her best friend.

"oh- baby, I knew he was sketchy from the moment that I saw his car parked in front of that nasty motel"

Y/n stopped all her movements, her jaw dropping open at what she heard her best friend say.

"so you knew?"

she asked shocked.

"I mean- yeah, I knew he was cheating but I don't know with who"

Selene kept going, only making Y/n more shocked than she had ever been.

"this was when?"

Y/n asked again, trying to understand the time zone of all of this.

"like... a year ago, maybe?"

the woman said, unsure about the answer.

"you knew for a year and you never thought of telling me?"

Y/n was dumbfounded, she couldn't even grasp the fact that her best friend didn't tell her anything about something so important.

"you know, every wife says that they would prefer to know, but in reality they really don't"

Selene explained, as Y/n's hands flew to her hips to make herself look serious.

"Selene, you're my best friend"

she finally shouted.

"yeah and you're... one of mine"

Selene finished, making Y/n pick up all of her things and run out of the apartment and to a taxi.

at Lando's house

the doorbell rang, as Lando was playing a game in his gaming room. he got up from his chair, a little confused by who it could be that is ringing is doorbell in the middle of the night.

his hand reached for the doorknob, but before he could open the door he stopped; it couldn't be Y/n, right? it has been at least two hours since he came back from Selene's house, she would've come earlier.

with a shrug he opened the door, finding Y/n in front of his house, still in that cute dress that she was wearing at the dinner.

"hey, what are you doing here?"

Lando asked, leaning on the doorframe and trying his hardest to sound as casual as ever.

"aren't you supposed to be at Selene's?"

he kept asking, wanting to understand what was going on with Y/n.

"yeah, I don't want to talk about it, but..."

Y/n started, her sweet voice lowering softly as she searched the right words.

"do you still wanna fuck?"

she finally asked, leaving Lando wide-eyed as he stood straight from the doorframe.

"hell yeah"

he replied honestly, making Y/n come into the apartment and leave all her things on the ground, right in front of the closed front door.

"good"

she finished. her hands reached for his face, pulling him down to her level to place her lips on his eagarly, as his hands placed themselves on her waist firmly. her fingers were passing through his messy hair.

he reluctantly pulled away from her, as his hand reached for his glasses, that were resting on his nose, and tossed them onto the couch to not be in the way. his lips went immediately back to hers, as her hands started working on the buttons of his dress shirt, slowly undoing them all and pulling the shirt off of his body.

Lando's placed his hands under her thighs, patting softly for her to jump into his arms as he carried her to his bedroom. he gently let her fall back onto the mattress, his body pressing firmly onto hers.

he put his weight on his hands and lifed himself off of the girl, taking in every inch of her body under his.

"I waited all my life to worship this body of yours, you will let me do it properly, yeah?"

@the-v-lociraptor has STELLAR art. she was one of my firts mutuals on twst tumblr and i was terrified of talking to people but her vibes were very much "i am nice you dont need to be afraid" and sniffling scared me was like "OKAY I CAN TALK TO YOU" LMAO but yeah. she draws people so,,, full. thats the only word i can use to describe it. they just look s soft and alive and its really so amazing. i love her art so much!!

@siphoklansan is another artist!! i think about the art she drew from loona's heart attack with twst character weekly basically. it has been stuck in my brain since i started following her. sippy, its trully beautiful how you mix your culture and your art together. i remember you talking about it when you were drawing fairy gala stuff and it was just stunning. please keep doing what you're doing!! i hope your hiatus proves restful <3

@shinysparklesapphires is an artists that has a lot of cool ocs!! i believe navi was the first one i was introduced to and he's such an icon ^^ sapphy is also really into precure and produces a lot of content for the fandom!! i have yet to finish the precure series she recommended to me but its good so far and laura is the best so true!!

Mutuals Mutuals Come one COME ALL!!!

Put your various sona's and appendages together for the unveiling of a lil' something I've been working on while being distracted from animating Dame Aylin's wings (Its long, hard, fun as all hell but the concentration required to do so seems physically impossible for a beast of my genus)

I drew all my moots tavs/pseudo-companions!!! It took a bit, but it was well worth it! Everyone's design is so unique and fun to figure out. (10 is a big number of moots)((which I am very grateful to have :3)) So without Further Ado!!! (there will be so much more Ado):

(page break cuz the images are 400x400 each but 10 times, I also go on for a bit about how much I like each Tav/pseudo-companion character) ((if anyone can give me tips on how to size pieces in a normal style digitally i'd be very grateful))

First of all is Sivvus the Fey Prince (he/him)! This elusive Eladrin Tav belongs to @thedomesticanthropologist! A gorgeous yet seemingly cold-hearted druid who tends to keep his cards close to his chest. Though if you want the challenge you can see for yourself if you can try and get close to him to see if Sivvus is as closed off as he seems to be. To be quite honest, Sivvus really grew on me. A very fancy Eladrin with a high society (fey society) upbringing ( with very good looking mood boards to match) and the like only for him to be thrust into the bg3 world with a worm to boot. He is charming! Also his backstory? <3 Defienetly go read it! 10/10 would draw the snob again :)

Second off we have Gum (He/They)! A Githyanki Cleric of Mystra. Being @piipaw's Tav you'd find this charming fruit lover trying to live a peaceful life after escaping from the creche that raised them. I like Gum a lot as the concept of a githyanki trying to find their own way in Faerun while also having no idea about any of the social customs is very gripping to me. I recommend greatly to check out the blog for Gum fics, fanart and a very cool moot . :)

Next is H'rayn of Verkos (she/her)! Now different from all the character's I drew, H'rayn is not a Tav! She's actually a pseudo-companion character with a lotta lore and history! She even has her own quest, party banter, approval and disapproval things. It's the whole deal!! @githkisser made an amazing post all about H'rayn . If you want a ton of indepth and fun info that's really really well documented, I cannot overstate how much you should it check out! I find myself going back to learn more about H'rayn as she really is as well thought out as in game companions! It's quite fun thinking up of ways tavs can interact with her and the art is mwah!!! very good indeed :3

4th! Tavern (Tav) the Bard! (they/them) This darling bard ran away from the circus.....from birth! Created by @avocado-writing, Tavern plays their way into your heart with their silly antics, warm heart and eldritch pocket dimension in their chest!

Tavern is a doll to doodle and I am amped to draw them even more in the future. The heterochromia and the inclusion of instruments does make them a fun challenge (i will draw instruments accuratley with these paws eventually). Go check them out!! :D

5th! Hvinidyr the Barbarian (he/him)! @star-bear-art (I just realised after all this we aren't actually mutuals. Which is funny since we kinda have the same name and theme with the bear thing XD) If you wanna see wonderous art of Hvinidyr as well as the other companions, go look right over here!

Winnie (Hvinidyr) has a lot of forms depending on the time period you wanna look at. The one I chose was the most recent with the large scar tissue all over the left (right? I'm horrible at directions, my paws don't make an L shape for me to tell). He was really fun to sketch out (and probably later colour in) and has a really unique design that I appreciate :)

6th Vierlin the Enchantment Wizard (and a lil' bit rouge)!!!(she/her) @sybaritick's Tav!!! Now!! This classic drow has a keen intrest in enchantment magic, teaching her crafts to nobles in Amn. After the whole tadpole fiasco, she also finds another use for her multitude of arcane skills. Most notabley depicted with a local wizard.

Now I won't get ahead of myself here but the fics that Sybaritick wrote about Vierlin are like....licking a warm pan of thickened maple syrup or a fancy meat meal with so much demi-glaze you're left smacking your lips for at least 20 mins after eating. Its indulgent. And I couldn't recommend it enough!! Read it!! (it took me a good 8 times to get the 'ie' part of Vierlin's name right, the letters look the same to me)

7th Fink the Spores Druid (they/them) belonging to @causticcontemplation! They're a pretty short Tav a 2.5ft and have a whole modern AU fic about them!!! You can read all about it here! (the pun name is amazing!)

I found it cool to use the fic to figure out how to colour them in, I ended up sending an anon ask instead and it helped great! Lovely Tav 10/10!

8th Korydass the Druid!! (She/her)!!! Conjured by @cfcreative, this seemingly non-emotive bronze dragonborn lights a spark in viewers as her tail and love for nature portrays otherwise. Art of Kory is many and also very good. Reading through her lore is fun watching her dynamics with the different origin characters change as she opens up to the party.

Now I do have slight bias, I like drawing Kory the most since her head shape is less humanoid. It's just so satifying, also her design is crazy awesome to work with so all around its great recommend I like her a lot :3

9th Asheera the Paladin (she/her) produced by @optiwashere.

To be quite honest I wouldn't even have a blog if it wasn't for Asheera's fics. They are EXCELLENT. If you want to go through a journey of a half orcs struggles, successes and gripping romance with Shadowheart, VAULT YOURSELF into Opti's A03 page and devour. You will have negative regrets about it just like I! Asheera is great I love her a lot I am the most normal about her.

10th Quin the Bard (he/him) composed by @quinthebard (who'd have known?)

This darling plucky bard is the star of an ongoing comic that is very dynamic and very gripping. (My fave panel is this one). Despite being 100, Quin still maintains his joyful and kind nature when traveling with the tadpole gang.

Definetly one of the most friendlies Tavs out of all the ones i've drawn. (he was also the first i drew out of all of these!) He's a delight!! Go check him out! Thanks to all my moots for giving permission, having such great characters and being such lovely moots! <3 <3 <3
