#Legion Season 3

I've been really busy with uni and some other things so haven't had a chance to sit down to write up my thoughts on Legion season 3.

I just tried to take a look at the notes I wrote when watching the episodes (oh yeah it's reached note taking levels) and I might need to rewatch the episodes just to understand wtf most of these notes mean. Others just made me giggle (yes, laughing at my own jokes, I know I know...)

There's fifteen pages (!!!) of these. Also, handwriting my notes shortly after sustaining nerve damage in my arm wasn't the best idea, my writing is barely legible at the best of times...struggling to hold a pen surprisingly didn't improve that...

Yall I kinda wish that the mystery assassin clone isn’t going to be tech. Love that guy but I want it to be another clone that fulfilled his plot and was never seen again. I know that there’s a 99.999% chance that it is him tho and if it is imma gonna cry and be happy that he’s alive. But like, what about all the other clones who are missing???

The Bad Batch Spoilers

The ONLY thing I’m not happy with is that I REFUSE to believe that’s the last time we saw Rex.

I never liked Rebels Rex cause the hell you mean that Rex, descendant of Drama Queen Anakin Skywalker’s teachings, spent his days doing NOTHING, showering once a month, on a deserted planet with Wolffe and Gregor (that’s BULLSHIT if you ask me, MY REX kept fighting till his back gave out, just like echo-)

I NEEDED a Dramatic™️ last shot of Rex, looking in the distance with BEAUTIFUL lighting over his features as he swears to keep fighting for his brothers for some kind of closure, but no, instead all I got was extreme disappointment.

'Till because she have a few other upgrades between these which is like "1.6.74"/"1.53.4"

The first drawings of her are the upgrades 1.4 and 1.95(in Instagram).

Melody was trying to communicate with the other legioners while she is visiting her home-planet and who answered her first was Brainiac 5, now the others are telling Brainiac to move aside for they talk her. Everything she can do while they fight with each other to know who will talk to her, is laugh from the whole situation.

I can’t believe it took me this long to realize the Blaster Blade Aichi Rides in the Get Back Yourself ED sequence is Blaster Blade Seeker, not Blaster Blade. Why is this relevant?

I submit, Kai’s Ride chant for Blaster Blade Seeker : “Stand up, my avatar! The true friend within my soul... my mate! Ride the Vanguard! Blaster Blade Seeker!”

Also, Kai’s Legion chant for Thing Saver Dragon, the same one he calls “Soulmate Legion”, and describes as “the bond between [himself] and Aichi” in ep 169 where he first meets Gaillard: “The light of courage that connects me and my mate in the darkness! Seek the mate! Friendship is in this hand! Our bond is in this heart! Line up, avatar of my soul. Legion!”

My only excuse is that every time I watch Legion Mate I’m scraping my jaw off the floor because “how on Earth (and Cray) did they ever green light a season that’s just made of There’s No Heterosexual Explanation For This Whatsoever”.

And I thought it was obvious enough with Aichi’s little proposal speech at the end of Link Joker 😅

It's going to take me a while to fully process my thoughts and feelings on the finale of Legion.

So for now all I'll say is...were we really meant to take 'Be a good boy' as a serious face value line?

Because I'm sorry, I hate to ruin the beautiful moment...but I can't.

Legion of Bats!

Welp! Tee Franklin is working on another harlivy comic called Legion of Bats! which I believe takes place after S3. However, given how disappointed I was with her EBKT comics, I have little hope for this series. We’ll wait and see. Unfortunately the synopsis on league of comic geeks somewhat spoils S3 before it has yet to release. The 1st comic is set to release on October 18th and will be a 6 series comic like before. 

edit: For clarification, I am most definitely looking forward to S3 and think the artwork is cute in the comics. I just do not think the writing lives up to the standards of the show. Her writing seems rather immature. I think this comic might have been better received if it had been a stand alone comic not associated with the show. However, I am very disappointed with the fact that Tee has continued to write toxic traits into their relationship.
