#Like where are introverted characters who enjoy solitude!

This is probably not that common but I honestly rarely like characters who are like me personality wise.
#Personal#I don’t know I suppose I just don’t like how they’re portrayed in media#Because if a character is introverted it automatically makes them aloof and cold#or even worse when they have some sort of trauma that makes them self-blaming and hopelessly insecure#Like where are introverted characters who enjoy solitude!#Where are introverted characters who love people who know how to joke smile and laugh and oh my goodness have friends!#Just where#Why can’t they enjoy their introverted self and instead constantly think there’s something wrong with them#I don’t know I really enjoy outgoing and extraverted characters more#and if they remain outgoing and kind even if they also have some sort of trauma#this is just peak character type to me#I don’t know I have a special connection with characters if their STORIES resonate with me not their personality#I love Elena (EoA) I love Anna (Frozen) I love Rebecca (Crazy Ex Girlfriend) and yet I’m nothing like them personality wise#But their stories especially Rebecca’s speak so much to me#And really why should I even love characters only because they’re like me I love a freaking Darth Vader and he’s a villain#(yeah this is me saying that I am not a villain XD)#Anyway in conclusion I’ll just say that I actually don’t really have a type and just love fictional characters because of the vibes XD#If I’m vibing with them and they make me feel something (well except for irritation I suppose) I do like them#Because as I was saying if I like something in most cases I really cannot explain why XD it just happens#(unless I start analyzing why I do like them…)#I’m suspiciously talkative recently…#Just voicing everything I have on my mind

An introduction to Night
Tumblr media
This is Night Time, my rottmnt sona! He was made in early 2023 when rottmnt sonas were everywhere XD He's heavily based off of my celestial au turtles — Star!Leo, in particular, felt to me like he was more or less already my rottmnt sona. However, it felt strange to make an "au Leo" my sona, so I tweaked him some. Night is the embodiment of night sky and all of the celestial bodies, not just the stars. He also has his own and unique personality, and his own way of thinking (as opposed to Star!Leo, who's just regular Leo with a star theme). Night is generally pretty quiet and collected. He has the vibes of an older, formal man. He enjoys his solitude and he is not a fan of talking to other people — he enjoys being alone with his night sky. However, when he's in the presence of others... he's a bit more of a prick and an asshole XD. He's very much and introvert and has a low tolerance for bs.

I do however have a lot of bits and info about where I want everything to kinda go and what I want to do, and all of that information can be found in "tmnt:snINFO."

Monster Next Door EP. 1-3: Being Loved is Being Seen
I'm getting a feeling that if people didn't like We Are...they'll def say the same thing about Monster Next Door in terms of "oh there's no plot." That's literally the point of fluff series 😩
For me, We Are easily became one of my favorite series as the weeks went on because it wasn't hard to to digest but there was definitely a plot with relatable themes that made each Wednesday enjoyable. People on MDL claiming the same things (which duh everyone's entitled to their own opinion) about MND, but a story that isn't complex or introduces heavy themes doesn't make a series that's simple and light better in comparison: it's simply different.
Getting to Know Diew: The World in the Eyes of an Introvert
Tumblr media
Maybe I'm someone who enjoys the best of both worlds with consuming theory ridden series along with the fluff and simple: MND and specifically the character Diew resonates with me as a fellow introvert (I'd say I'm with Beer as more of an ambivert) but as someone who's also neurodivergent and shares the same tendencies Diew has, his character reminds me of how Fang was first received by some of the We Are viewers, where these more mellow and quieter characters tend to be misunderstood as "boring" or "flat." Society's false perception of quiet individuals being more of a waste of space and unable to speak up for themselves, but the strength of Diew's character is his ability to exist on his own, within his own world and not feel much of a void or deem his solitude as lonely like his extroverted counterparts experience. Rather, his own solitude is familiar, safe, comforting, and he has no reason to not be content with his own company. For many introverts: we learn how to become more confident in how we navigate the world, not letting our experiences be deemed as unexciting or misunderstood.
Integrity: The Development of Trust Issues
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Learning the truth about Pee, Diew's ex boyfriend.
We're shown a snippet of Diew's past with his ex boyfriend Pee after meeting his friends for the first time: resulting in his friends making fun of Diew and his antics. Rather than defending him, Pee remains silent and allows the bullying to continue on, causing a rift in their relationship and I'm sure, becomes the main reason for their relationship to end. As someone who's been considered "quirky" or weird in the eyes of others (which became an insecurity for a long time until I brought it up in therapy and found my appropriate coping mechanisms to overcome these feelings of embarrassment or alientation), these moments may seem silly and not a big deal: it's never about the actual circumstances of the situation, but the principle of what occurred in the situation. It's not a matter of Diew being made fun of for his relationship with his pet turtle: it's a matter of entrusting that his boyfriend at the time to defend him in his honor and put his friends in their place. However, that didn't happen, which Diew tends to overthink and spiral into a mess of irrational thinking, causing himself to become even more disoriented.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The moment may pass, but the feelings usually don't unless proper intervention happens. This becomes a significant shift when Diew feels comfortable enough to tell God that he wasn't talking on the phone with anyone, which his response was inviting and validated Diew's relationship with his pet turtle, something that was deemed silly and weird from people of his past. Lots of people are told that they want to be known by others, but not everyone can actually back up that statement with solid evidence of actions and words. God becomes this safe space that Diew is slowly warming up to, as his words and actions continue to match and build a case for itself. God even takes it upon himself to tap into Diew's interests, associating him with his turtle and allowing his hyperfixation to exist.
Communication: Learning the Language
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is one of my favorite shots: it's simply beautiful, attractive, comforting, inviting, just overall peaceful and calm.
Diew's hyperfixation is about turtles and reading, which God's character picks up once they've consistently began communicating with one another through the Post-It notes and becomes the preferred method of communication for Diew. Sure, for lots of people who watch these episodes that aren't resonating with the severity of Diew's anxiety when it comes to expressing himself and being perceived in public and with those outside of his comfort zone, you actually contribute to the problem that people like Diew (who are very real and very present in every day life) deal with! The theme of the series is about being seen not for being weird or different (derogatory), but for being unique and special no matter who you are and how you live life as your authentic self. That instead of belittling you for your differences, you're recognized and accommodated appropriately. Being loved is being seen.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The reason why this pairing works well is the same for why Tan and Fang's relationship went well: the more extroverted and "obvious" character doesn't expect the more introverted and "subtle" character to change for their own comfort or palate. That more introverted characters can be just as interesting and plot driven as their extroverted counterparts. That introverted characters' problems are just as real and relatable as their extroverted counterparts. Maybe it's because people can't resonate with characters like Diew or Fang and have the bandwidth to be opinionated about how they feel, but as a fellow quiet, introverted, has more mental chatter than vocal chatter (but get my started on one of my favorite things and we're zooming), tends to keep to themselves but isn't necessarily shy, etc: not everything has to be explicit to be valid or understood. That instead of expecting the obvious to land on our laps, we also have the responsibility of reading between the lines and making inferences through the implicit, that introverts, too, have their own language.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Eating chocolate once he was told the dopamine would make him smile (Diew telling God that he learned this from a study, which God doesn't make Diew feel othered or weird for sharing information in that way).
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Diew having a rough day and God finds ways to make him feel better without revealing his identity (until the party mom said something LOL)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Both of them going to each other's favorite places, even if that means not going together to experience it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Becoming aware of a need and fulfilling the need in his own little way.
We see this the best in how God doesn't press or become impatient with Diew's preferences or boundaries: instead, he learns to find workarounds to maintain a connection between the two without risk of overwhelming Diew in the process. Rather than continuing on and becoming set in his ways, God's able to step down and find ways to resonate with his new friend, stepping into his world and finding himself getting lost in it all on his own. Diew also returns this level of interest and builds the confidence in making his actions speak for himself, which isn't just limited to the grand gestures and clear signs of love: but down to the smallest forms of expression.
Honorable Mention: Friendship
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I adore the way friendship is portrayed in this series so far (the bottom image being so funny seeing the difference between the two parties LOL): some might find their actions to be cringe or offputting but speaking from experience with my own friends and groups, that's what makes all these memories so fun and enjoyable. Being around people who allow you to exist as yourself and as Diew mentioned earlier, not to act in ways that people expect you to be. By being around people who enable you to come as your authentic self is so important, especially in a world where it seemed to be more difficult for people to have confidence to be themselves with no shame. That's why I really enjoy watching university series: the friendships experienced during youth are unmatched and will really show you who your real friends are for the long haul. I'm excited for the upcoming episodes, especially the ones where communication between the two differing personalities will be put to the test.

Dude, the day I finally get ahold of that Sniper ass… anyway… please a sniper x f!reader who is also pretty introverted and the two start hanging out together in private bc she cannot stand how loud the other mercs be sometimes. Thank you <3
That sounds so sweet, dear anon. This is what I managed to compose:
Sniper × F!reader they start hanging out together because they can't stand how noisy everyone else is.
Friday afternoon. The sun was covered with clouds and the whole day was flooded with a hundred shades of gray. A sticky feeling of some kind of fatigue and sadness hung heavily on your shoulders. You looked at the bustling mercenaries who were preparing for some kind of holiday or party. The Soldier shouted something commanding at the others, the Scout shouted something in response. Everyone was fussing and the noise made your head spin. You sighed after looking at it and went to a place familiar to you, and only to you. Along the way, Pyro stuck to you, they asked where you were going, mumbling something worriedly. You said you wanted to be alone and Pyro understood that.
A small library. The mercenaries could not boast of a special zeal for reading, there were not many books on this. Shelves, too, but they served more as the walls of a small maze. There was no light in the room. Because no one is sitting here, why conduct electricity here?
You sat down between the shelves, sighing heavily. You took out a flashlight, a favorite book and were able to enjoy quiet solitude in this dusty remote room. There was almost no noise, except that the rain was drumming on the glass. When did it start? Apparently the weather is also not up to the festivities. Calm and quiet. Even your head almost doesn't hurt.
You were already beginning to nod off, when your rest was interrupted by a sound on the left. You looked there, peering fearfully into the darkness. A tall, stooped figure stood in the thick black darkness. Hastily grabbing a flashlight, you shone it in its direction. The light fell on the scarlet shirt. There was a hoarse little moan.
"-aagh, not in the eyes, mate!"
He was covering his blinded eyes with his hands. Oh, thank God, it's just the Sniper.
"what are you doing here?"
You whispered, looking at the lanky man.
"that's what I 'ave to ask ya"
He rubbed his blinded eyes and then put his glasses back on.
You raised one eyebrow.
"- I'm taking a break from these goons. Too much noise."
He chuckled.
"-surprised. 'm also hiding from these wanka's."
Silence reigned. You shone on his body without getting into his eyes. He was looking at you through reflective glasses. An awkward pause. Damn, what else can you say?
"-sit down?"
You nod, he carefully sits down next to you, looking into the empty darkness of the library.
"-often here?"
You nod.
"- when they start making noise."
"-same."
You're both at a loss for words. But it's nice for you to realize that you're not the only one. Not one quiet guy. He pauses, looks at you in this light lantern light and slowly leans closer. You can smell tobacco and fresh wood.
"what are you reading?"
You don't immediately gather your words and tell him about the contents of the book, about the characters, about your favorite story from there. He smiles softly, listening to you attentively. You don't raise your voice, speak softly, and he answers you no less softly. Here his hoarse raspy voice feels really cozy. It's like hanging out with a cool uncle.
"- This is quite interestin', also have something to tell...."
He tells you about the things he has seen, and you respond. Once you philosophize. Once you discuss others. Gently laugh it off, chuckling softly. And then be silent again.
Comfort warms you and you do not notice how you are leaning on his shoulder. He shudders and is ready to swear that an army of goosebumps ran over his skin. But he didn't object. The sound of the rain lulled, and the warmth from his body warmed. You didn't even notice how you fell asleep, having knocked out the flashlight. You will wake up later when the sun hits your eyes. The Sniper will be right there, sleeping on one of the bookshelves. One thing will catch your attention. His vest covers you. How cute.

BLUE LOCK MATCHUP — @ssstar
Your match is...
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
— Itoshi Rin
Tumblr media
✦ Forgive me, my lord.
✦ I'm about to embark on another endless psychoanalysis…
✦ But I always want to do this when I receive such detailed and complex bios!!!
✦ Listen, I've never read about anyone on Tumblr who made me think of Rin as much as you…
✦ Who are you? Where are you? What do you do? How do you like your eggs in the morning???
✦ … You know what?
✦ Even before reaching the last paragraph of your last message, the one indicating your MBTI… I already knew I was dealing with an INxJ, hehe.
✦ The longest and most detailed descriptions I receive usually come from INFJs or INTJs, and it makes a lot of sense with the way your messages are structured and your complex, rich, and introspective way of thinking. It’s clear that your words are well-thought-out and have been maturing for a long time. I love these MBTI profiles and could talk about them for hours. So, thank you for stopping by for a matchup! I always enjoy receiving such material and discovering different temperaments and stories.
✦ "I wouldn't be able to get along well with someone hyperactive and noisy. I quickly get tired of communicating with very expressive people." Just this sentence alone allowed me to rule out a large part of the cast when I was making my selection hahaha
✦ "I notice that sometimes I find it difficult to get in touch with my negative emotions, but in recent years I have been learning to be more open with sadness and trust my loved ones more when I feel bad." This is a challenge many INTJs experience because in their stack of cognitive functions (in order for INTJ: Ni-Te-Fi-Se), their Introverted Feeling (Fi) is in the Tertiary position. This means it’s one of the functions that INTJs struggle the most with and have the hardest time mastering (the worst being the Inferior: Se). Introverted Feeling (Fi) is the function that focuses on being in harmony with one’s own feelings and values. In the third position for INTJs, it’s hidden under what others might perceive as coldness. This explains why people might sometimes say you seem intimidating.
✦ This is a very common characteristic of MBTI profiles where Extraverted Thinking (Te) is in the top two functions. Unlike INFPs and ENFPs, whose Introverted Feeling (Fi) is at the top of their cognitive stack (making them very in touch with their own emotions), ENTJs and INTJs often struggle with their own inner feelings because they’re so focused on achieving their goals (manifesting their Te) that they have little contact with their inner emotional world. This is why they sometimes struggle to understand themselves on this point.
✦ (That was a little MBTI note)
✦ (Back to the matchup now)
✦ I thought of two other characters for you because I think they resemble you a lot. I’ll tell you more about them at the bottom of the post.
✦ "So, because of this, from time to time I fall into melancholy and thoughtfulness" The INTJ temperament is often melancholic-choleric. I understand this as someone who, deep down, feels a kind of poignant, inexplicable blues, sometimes motivated by the past, sometimes because they feel a strong disconnect from the world and others. This melancholy occasionally turns into anger when this gap becomes too great and unbearable. Typically, it reminds me of this phrase you wrote: "I've had enough of human idiocy for today. And I deeply regret that I share the same species with these people."
✦ In fact, I think you and Rin share a lot, but really A LOT of characteristics. Logical sense, your individualism, the tendency to analyze everything, your occasional caustic response when disturbed. Your inclination for solitude, the fact that there are only certain very specific things for which you open up… Which makes me think that you probably see a lot of yourself in him through his motivations, his way of being with others, and who he is at his core. And since you share the same MBTI, the fact that you and him are so similar don't surprise me.
✦ I have a philosophy that we often resonate with characters who resemble us. We recognize ourselves in them.
✦ "I approach everything I do responsibly if I'm interested in it and tend to immerse myself in what I like, sometimes forgetting that my body needs to replenish its water and food reserves. (Neglecting my own condition is something I've been struggling with for a couple of years now)" There's a moment in the manga (Chapter 110) (Yes, I looked it up) where Rin is training, and Isagi joins him. Rin says to him: "If I break down from this, that just means that's all I was ever gonna amount to." And I think that resonates with your tendency to overwork yourself without paying attention to your physiological needs. There's a drive to achieve your goals that’s so strong that your body becomes a tool for your ambitions, nothing more.
✦ Ultimately, it’s Isagi who ends up reminding Rin to drink.
✦ Indirectly, seeing someone work as hard as he does to achieve their ambitions resonates deeply with Rin, and he respects that ability. It’s the cowards, the weak, the incapable who give up.
✦ In fact, as the manga progresses (well, a little less during the BM x PXG match, let's be honest *cough*), Rin opens up a bit to Isagi. It’s not direct; it’s very subtle, but we see them talking together! Whereas before, if Rin didn’t outright ignore him, he would clearly tell Isagi to get lost.
✦ And as their relationship evolves, as they face their opponents together (specifically during the Japan U20 match), Rin shows gestures of almost solidarity towards Isagi. He ruffles his hair to bring him back to earth, tells him not to get "swallowed." He even promises Isagi, when they’re in a tough spot: "In 90 minutes, I'll turn those cheers into screams of anguish." This is how he ensures their own victory to Isagi.
✦ Like you, he shows more human, less harsh, less ruthless aspects of himself.
✦ Honestly, I’m convinced that there’s still a bit of the child Rin within the current Rin, but it’s completely buried under layers of poison and vengeance because of Sae.
✦ "I am more open with my family and friend" Yes, Rin used to do that too...
✦ (please help him)
✦ "I'm still learning to accept help normally and admit that I need it at all" Do I even need to say anything… Reminding Rin to drink!!
✦ "But I am tough on betrayal and would never forgive a person who would cheat or betray me." Well, you see, I think it’s the same for Rin, and that’s why he changed so much when his brother abandoned him -- betrayed him.
✦ "I also love ambitious and purposeful people who are burning with their goal and know what they want. If they can also make a joke, whether it's sarcasm or a pun - great." Yes, I think you’ll be well off with Rin!
✦ I’ve always thought that humor says a lot about a person’s creative intelligence, and it’s a quality Rin recognizes. Someone who has wit and knows how to banter with their opponent at the right moment. I even think that if he heard you, it would make him give a slight amused snort, you know? And maybe, if we look closely, under a microscope… We can see the hint of a smile forming at the corner of his lips.
✦ "This is a bit special, but I get along well with traumatized people prone to reflection. Most likely because I can understand them well and it is easier for them to understand me and my traumas." Well, you’ll have plenty to do with him. I also think he’s the type you’d desperately want to save because his deepest wound (aka his brother’s betrayal) can be healed.
✦ … And at the same time, I see Rin as someone too proud to admit that he needs help. He even reacts violently when someone tries to approach him, like with Isagi. I think he can’t stand the idea of being pitied, and at the same time, there’s something very sad about him, you know. His inner child is calling for help. The fact that you can pinpoint this inner wound makes your relationship incredibly powerful.
✦ Rin is not, but I mean NOT AT ALL expressive about his feelings (except for his rage to win, I mean), but he knows very well how to make someone feel special to him. In my opinion, his love language is totally quality time and words of affirmation. It’s when he starts paying attention to what the other person is saying that you can tell something has unlocked.
✦ "I'm not particularly compatible with very active people" Rin is very active, but in his own way. Especially when it comes to his career and football. But outside of that… I see him as someone completely disinterested in living adventures or things like that, you know? I even think he spends most of his time at home taking care of his own business rather than being at shopping centers.
✦ "I can't stand liars and manipulators, as well as people who don't keep their word. For me, honesty is more important and I would prefer a serious, albeit painful conversation, rather than a 'pleasant lie.'" I don’t see Rin as a manipulator or a liar; quite the opposite. His honesty is so abrasive that I can’t imagine him trying to lie. In a relationship, even if he’s not very demonstrative, he’ll immediately express when something isn’t right. He actually expects the same in return and cannot tolerate those who act behind others' backs. I really think it’s a strong principle he stands by.
✦ "I would also not tolerate someone who does not respect me, considers me 'inferior' to themself and does not consider my opinion." Well, I think Rin tends to underestimate just about anyone who hasn’t proven themselves on the field or directly in front of him. This rule applies to any individual in the sport.
✦ Because outside of the field… Well, I think everything leaves him a bit indifferent. He neither esteems nor despises. If it doesn’t help him achieve his goals, then it’s useless.
✦ He’s still a perfectionist, and that makes him demanding and ruthless. But finding someone he respects makes him less harsh.
✦ "My little weakness is horror games, I love them, but I rarely play them myself, preferring to watch others play them." It’s crazy how so many little details about you resonate with Rin, even though we don’t know much about him! Were you destined for him from birth or something? In the Egoist Bible, here’s what we learn about him: "He spends his holiday either playing horror video games or immersing himself in horror movies."
✦ ...Yes, hello?
✦ It seems that words speak for themselves, but I’ll elaborate by saying: YES, of course, you both spend your days off in the room, you watching Rin try-hard the latest horror video games.
✦ In fact, he wouldn’t pay much attention to your presence, so absorbed would he be in his game, but hearing you occasionally gasp or comment on certain aspects of the game would remind him that you’re there.
✦ One evening, while he’s been playing for thirty minutes facing the screen, you’re there, sitting on the bed, flipping through books and glancing at the TV from time to time to see Rin making progress.
✦ At one point, a horrible jumpscare appears on the screen, and you let out a sharp squeak that makes Rin’s neck snap towards you.
✦ "Did that scare you?"
✦ He asks, even though technically, it shouldn’t be you getting the question.
✦ But as I said: words speak for themselves.
✦ "There’s nothing scary about it."
✦ (Deep down, he’s scared too)
✦ (Too proud to admit it, obviously)
✦ "You should try this level."
✦ Because he knows there’s a horrible boss in it that you really don’t like, and it makes him laugh softly to see you struggle in front of it.
✦ Laugh, I said laugh!
✦ Because these are the rare moments when you see him without his usual furrowed brow. Just relaxed, doing something he enjoys, with someone who doesn’t stress him out.
✦ And while you’re playing, struggling with hordes of terrifying zombies…
✦ … The "You died" screen flashes up, and a compassionate hand rests on your shoulder.
✦ You jump. It’s Rin coming to sit back down, with a tray full of snacks and drinks.
✦ "Don’t forget to eat. It’s late."
Tumblr media
A word about your match: I also considered Ego and Sae, as you share many traits with them. I ruled out Ego because I think that in terms of compatibility and depth of relationship, it would have been complicated over time, especially between two intellectuals too focused on their own goals. I mostly see a professional relationship for you two. And regarding Sae: he’s the kind of person who can betray without a second thought or any remorse, and I think you, like Rin, would find that hard to swallow. So for me, the most relevant match is with Rin! Good luck managing someone as stubborn as he is fascinating.

Okay, I know a bunch of people are still advocating for Elsa to have a girlfriend, but am I the only one who thinks Aro/Ace Elsa is completely valid? I’ve never understood why every Disney princess needed a love interest of any kind, and I’ve really liked how some of the newer movies have stepped away from that story beat in some regards. Elsa is definitely the prime example of it, since she doesn’t even have a hinted or potential love interest introduced as of right now. Actually, she has shown absolutely no interest in romance whatsoever. Her whole character has always been about self-identity and acceptance. Of being yourself and loving yourself for who you are, even if that doesn’t fit the definition of normal. She loves her family but is clearly introverted and enjoys solitude from time to time. She has always been the polar opposite of Anna, and I think having her be Aro/Ace would just make sense. Anna was always desperate for that romantic connection with someone, while Elsa is fine being who she is. Elsa not having a romantic interest in my opinion fits her character. She’s the independent woman, she no longer is constantly trying to find approval and acceptance in others. She found her self-confidence, and it would feel like a backtrack for her to suddenly be pining for the attention of someone else just because ‘every Disney princess needs a lover’. With Disney’s track record of representation anyways, let's be honest, there’s no way they can write their way around Elsa getting into a convincing relationship without it feeling shoehorned and pandering. Elsa has had two movies already building her up as someone who doesn’t need a lover and doesn’t seem to want one. Her character would have to do a 180 shift to suddenly be pining for love like Anna did in the first movie. I don’t know, with the potential of Frozen 3 on the horizon, I’m unsure where they plan to go with it. But I do know that as of right now, Elsa seems to be a good representation of Aro/Ace. If they decide to write her a love interest of any gender, I just hope it’s well written, but I really don’t think she needs it.

PERSONALITY
Main traits; confident, stubborn, quiet, romantic,
A natural Leo, Hanna is confident with who she is. She’s stubborn and when she has made her mind up on something it’s nearly impossible to deter her. Although she has many friends, she has very few people whom she knows intimately, she prefers to keep people at arm’s length where they know as little about her as possible. Hanna enjoys luxury and is a wellness fanatic. She’s a romantic and loves old books and trashy movies, and when she isn’t working, she’ll be enjoying her solitude.
BACKGROUND:
Born in Merrock in 1989, Hanna was born into a large family of four children. She was a middle child, and although they were all close in age, they were all extremely different. In her childhood, Hanna was a sporty and outgoing child, and she loved swimming, running, football and anything she could get her hands on. But on the sports field is where she was the most comfortable, with her being quiet and introverted when she retreated home. She had excellent grades and received a sports scholarship to college.
Outside of academia, Hanna always found close relationships difficult, having a handful of romantic and platonic relationships across her life. She often felt like she was on the edges of friendship groups and never in the centre. Hanna met her best friend at college and the pair are now roommates in Merrock. Outside of their family, they are currently the only person that they fully trust. Hanna is still very close to her family with most of her three siblings still living inside Merrock.
After graduating with a medical science degree, Hanna trained as a paramedic and first responder. Although, not the most exciting job in a town like Merrock it is a job she thoroughly enjoys. It keeps her out and about and she is always on the road rather than chained to a desk. Hanna throws herself into her work most days and nearly never has time to sit back and enjoy herself.
But when she does get free time, Hanna enjoys yoga and exploring her spiritual side. You can often find her at the Azure spa, Breathe in or hiking along the cliff’s.
WANTED CONNECTIONS
Parents: Both reside within Merrock
Siblings: Older sister, Older brother, Younger brother
Friendships: Roommate, the pair met in their late twenties and have lived together ever since.

Colleagues: Working as a paramedic is emotionally tolling and your colleagues can end up like your family.
Friends from hobbies: Hanna loves yoga, spa days and believes heavily in crystals and her own spiritualism. She would have a group of friends now who continue this with her.

Embracing the name of Saoirse, Kavya was born into one of the most well-known family in Scotland. An aristocrat name in which the family hailed from Dublin, Ireland, to then live in Scotland ever since the era of Queen Mary back in the 1500s. People will find it rare to spot those with this surname attached on their names. Hence, when one finds a Saoirse, they will make it as if they’ve seen a living blessing. But little did they know, the Saoirses are just humans, after all...
Kavya’s father, Ronan William Saoirse, is one of the person in the family who doesn’t like spotlight and such kind of sight. He is never someone to enjoy public’s enchantment and attention towards whatever his family has. And of that thought, he decided to move somewhere far from Scotland where no one really knew the significance held merely by the name bestowed to his family. After many considerations, especially the fact that he may be merely an outsider on that country, he moved to Indonesia. There, he met Diajeng Rosalina Mangoendiningrat, which later would be his wife. She was an Indonesian aristocrat, half Javanese and half Dayaknese. A free-living spirit, some people might even say that they’ve destined to be together, considering how they match each other so well. And years after them married, Kavya was born.
Kavya embodies an ethereal presence cloaked in grace and allure. Her outward appearance suggests a quiet simplicity, yet beneath this serenity lies a depth and warmth that takes time to be unveiled. She exudes the adage of “don’t judge a book by its cover,” as she is so much more than anyone could initially expect. An introvert by nature, Kavya finds comfort and clarity in solitude. This quiet introspection is her safe haven, a place where she can reflect and recharge. However, this does not preclude meaningful connections as she welcomes the presence of those who resonate with her soul, creating an atmosphere of warmth in between the conversation.
She currently works as a professional model, sometimes walking herself through the red carpet, sometimes just having so many shoots for magazine and stuffs. Of this occupation, she also finds interest in photography as she was enjoying herself taking shots of view wherever she goes. She has one certain companion that she always brought everywhere—her camera. That alone gives happiness and satisfaction to her.

I just wanna know, would you date any of characters you write about? (Note: they won't kill you)
This is interesting because I have asked myself this before.
So the only ones I'd really consider dating are Vincent Sinclair, RZ Mikey, Amanda Young and Anna/The Huntress (from Dead by Daylight, dunno if she counts).
And the thing is:
As much as I love Vincent, he'd be wayyy too possessive for me. I personally hate people being possessive over me, and Vincent would do that. So in reality, and I am sorry, I wouldn't date him. (On top of that, the idea of living with Bo is not one I much enjoy.)
With Mikey, I feel like it could happen because he's someone who seeks solitude as much as I do. Plus, we both have similar hobbies. We could make masks together. And I feel like we're both the same amount of awkward to bond with each other. Though I'd feel fine with just being his friend.
Amanda... I'd risk my life for her, but I know for a fact that she'd be too emotional for me. She's someone who grows frustrated/angry rather fast, and I hate angry people or arguments in general. We would work out for like 2 months and that'd be it.
And for Anna - I'd do anything for Anna, and I'm not kidding. I would literally live as her slave and idc if that makes me a giant simp, she is so omg. Anna's probably the only one where I'm 100% sure I'd do anything to date her irl. I would throw away my whole dream of a career and live as her housewife if she'd just let me. I'm not kidding guys, the idea of living in a rainy forest in Russia with my big butch wife going hunting while I cook and stoke the fire and clean the house and tend to the garden - this is my dream.
You have to consider, too, that I'm not really into men irl so that's something. I don't know if I'd be attracted to certain male slashers if they were real, but I'm sticking with the women for now.
(I'd date Baby Firefly too if she wasn't as extroverted. My introverted ass could never deal with that.)
Also thanks for the ask, I love interactions like these :)

Richard Armitage interview in Reader's Digest UK (due out January 2022) via. Twitter (14/12/21)
Part 1/2
Part 2 here
Full transcript for interview (both part 1 & 2) under cut
Richard Armitage on Hollywood, the Hobbit and Hard Work
From bursting onto the musical theatre stage, the prolific actor has gone on to star in Hollywood blockbusters and hit TV shows – all while being “shy”

He’s been in the Hobbit franchise, featured in the Marvel universe and has a string of acclaimed TV performances under his belt. But having got his start in musical theatre, Richard Armitage never envisioned a career beyond the stage.
“I wasn’t sure somebody like me had a place in film or television,” the now very much in-demand actor admits to thinking when he was growing up in Leicestershire. “I thought I might be able to do something on stage but I never dreamed about working on scree and it was only later in life when people started giving me chances that I thought, Maybe I can do this.”
I ask him what he means by “somebody like me” and Richard elaborates: “Somebody who’s a bit shy and not necessarily a showoff. I felt like you had to have this supreme confidence to be an actor in film and TV, but having met a lot more people in the business who are like me I’ve realised there are two kinds of actors – people who have big personalities and enjoy putting them on film, then other people who use character as a skin to hide in or escape to. I fall under the latter category and it’s provided me with the most incredible adventures.”
Those adventures includes playing an assassin in the huge-budget Captain America: The First Avenger, filming the Hobbit trilogy in New Zealand and being directed by Tim Burton in Alice Through the Looking Glass on the big screen, while also starring in Spooks, The Vicar of Dibley, Robin Hood and Hannibal on the small one. And when we catch up via. Zoom, 50-year-old Armitage is dialling in from Seville, where he’s currently filming crime drama The Man From Rome.
The subject at hand, though, is the new eight-part Netflix thriller Stay Close, which is based on the Harlan Coben book of the same name and centres around three people – working mum Megan (Cush Jumbo), former documentary photographer Ray (Richard) and detective Broome (James Nesbitt) – whose pasts come back to haunt them.
Having previously been in another Coben adaptation, last year’s The Stranger he was drawn to Stay Close because it meant being reunited with the same team. Plus, he saw Ray as a fascinating, dishevelled, heavily tattooed, and ultimately down-on his-luck character.
Richard’s hair is shorter and tidier when we chat and his arms aren’t covered in tattoos, but the actor says there is some common ground between him and Ray.
“There’s a slight solitude to him, although that’s through circumstance rather than choice, but I understand that side of him because I have a tendency to be a recluse or introvert. Ray also has quite an artistic brain and artistic mind, which I related to and enjoyed.”
Born in the village of Huncote, near Leicester, Armitage mastered the cello and played in local orchestras before studying drama and dance at Pattinson College boarding school, recalling: “It was quite strict but that served me well because it gave me discipline and it made me a very hard-worker.”
Having worked in Budapest for six months to gain his Equity Card (Equity is a UK trade union for actors), he then returned to the UK and did lots of musical theatre, appearing in the likes of 42nd Street, Annie Get Your Gun and Cats. “Then I started thinking about what the rest of my life might shape up to be and I didn’t want to just move around various musicals in the West End before ending up teaching somewhere – not that there’s anything wrong with that, but I felt there was something else in me, another facet to my personality that wasn’t being fulfilled. I felt I needed a career with more longevity.”
So he enrolled at LAMDA and after graduation worked for the Royal Shakespeare Company before slowly inching his way into television, eventually landing the role of John Thornton in BBC’s 2004 North & South (notably his first and so far only period drama).
Two years later he was Guy of Gisborne in Robin Hood and also got to romance Dawn French in The Vicar of Dibley, saying: “That was like a little diamond in a field of coal. When they asked me, I was like ‘Really? Have they seen what I usually do? That’s not my bag’. But it was great fun and it was my first experience of a live studio audience, seeing the marriage of theatre and TV together and how brilliant Dawn was at bringing the audience in.”
After a regular gig as MI5 protégé Lucas North in Spooks he then found himself playing dwarf leader Thorin Oakenshield under the direction of Peter Jackson. “I was obsessed with his Lord of the Rings films and wished I’d been in them. Then I managed to get in a room with him and by some bolt of lightning he decided I was right for the role. That was one of those life-changing moments where I had to pick myself up off the floor.”
Also in the Hobbit trilogy was Richard’s Stay Close co-star James Nesbitt. “So we reminisced a lot about being in New Zealand for nearly two years, having this extraordinary experience.” He laughs. “Most of my memories are about surviving the costume and make-up because it was so hot and heavy, Most of the time you were sitting in a chair wheezing and trying not to collapse.”
Stay Close was filmed in Manchester, Blackpool and the west of Lancashire. “And it was a really interesting period,” Armitage says of getting back to work after lockdown. “Productions had started up again and we came in at a time when COVID was feeling a little bit more controlled. The world was slowly opening up but we were still in this strict bubble, getting tested twice a week, with masks everywhere. That was an asset having worked with this crew before because meeting people from behind a mask is a bit of a challenge but it was like meeting up with old friends.”
He’s been labelled a method actor but he doesn’t really know what that means, although her does a lot of preparation for a role and writes character diaries to fill in their back-stories. “Maybe some people just learn the lines and turn up but when you’re given a role you start working and you have a plan. That’s my method, I suppose, to read as much as I can, find as many influences as I can and try to get the work done before shooting so when you’re on set your brain can be completely focused on the scene.”
When it comes to his private life, he keeps it very private indeed, not because he’s a guarded interviewee but because of actors like Gary Oldman noting: “The thing that’s great about actors like him is that you only really know them for their characters and you don’t know much about their lives. Likewise I don’t want my life to get in the way of the thing I’m trying to create. If people know less about me and more about the character then I’m doing my job well.”
Richard smiles. “A painter doesn’t paint a portrait, put it on the wall and stand in front of it. They get out of the way.”

voltron :)
Woman on Verge of Having a Good Time Is Suddenly Reminded Voltron Exists
favourite character: who could it be but allura... radical revolutionary heir apparent to a dead kingdom who's composed and elegant but ultimately just a young girl who wants to play with the mice and write poetry and shop for sparkly jewellery and have a fairytale romance. still throwing rocks at dreamworks hq for what they did to this angel girl
2nd favourite character: i always found lance very cute & funny and i think his arc had a lot of potential to say something genuine about talent and value and belonging. i mean it didn't but it could've
least favourite character: i wound up hating keith so fucking much like the way he treated allura like trash while taking everything she should have been rightfully given since day one... no wait i just remembered the true enemy. lotor is worthless garbage and deserved to die
character i'm most like: i literally have no idea rip maybe the fanfic version of hunk who's there sometimes to be supportive and then disappears from the face of the earth, presumably to enjoy the peace & solitude... introvert passing
favourite pairing: allurance! i liked both characters & thought their interactions were very cute. lance was denied plot relevance so hard but tbh i thought his lack of conflict was exactly what allura needed in a story that insisted on throwing her around like a ragdoll, he was very supportive and i liked that their romance was stable and gentle and something that cushioned her during everything
least favourite pairing: a good 99% of voltron ships are irredeemable but she/ith was the fucking scourge of this website and still going strong in completely melting the brains of anyone who's ever been into it like. i'm at least three quarters positive that the only reason i haven't mass deleted all my old vld posts is sheer spite in my bid to outlast them on this dumb website
favourite moment: the episode where the ship goes evil and SPECIFICALLY the shot of shiro wide eyed and panting through the cracks of sendak's glass cell like what a moment... what an image... why did they even keep trying
rating out of 10: can i give a zero... like it had good characters and i liked the look and atmosphere of the show but any points they may have won w me ought to be deducted for that awful last season & allura's stupid, unnecessary, thematically regressive death scene. evil evil evil

Heroine Addiction
Out of all the main heroines in Disney animated features that I have seen, my top picks for the ones that think I am most like in terms of personality are Elsa, Meg, and Belle.
I relate to Elsa because we are both realistic, cautious, anxious, worrisome, pessimistic, and shy.
I relate to Meg because we are both cynical, sarcastic, snarky, and bitter.
I relate to Belle because we are both clever, intelligent, logical, assertive, and outspoken.
Some of these traits are also common among two of the women rather than all three. For example, Elsa and Meg are both pessimists because they have endured traumatic pasts. Similarly, Meg and Belle are very outspoken and assertive, in the sense they are not afraid to stand up for themselves or say whatever is on their mind. Simultaneously, the traits that all three women have in common is that they are free-spirited, independent, reserved introverts, which is how I relate to all of them at once.
Now I already wrote an analysis about why Elsa is my favorite Frozen character and how much I relate to her, so I don’t want to repeat myself so much. But what I will say is that I am a lot like her because I have struggled with so much inner turmoil in my life that I have experienced depression, anxiety, and constant pessimism. I am also like Elsa because we are both shy, don’t always like to socialize in large groups of people, feel awkward in the spotlight, and enjoy our freedom and solitude, as well as peace and quiet, as opposed to noise and exuberance.
Like Meg, the turbulence I have endured in my past has not only made me very pessimistic, especially about the future, but also very cynical. I haven’t experienced a broken heart like she has, but over the last ten years, the turmoil that I have experienced included several setbacks, disappointments, and broken promises regarding school, the work field, and my family and home life. These negative experiences have caused me to become cynical, jaded, and bitter, with an often melancholy view of life and a sarcastic attitude. Despite this, I am incredibly independent and proud of being able to do things on my own and take care of myself.
Although I am not as much of a bibliophile, like Belle, I do enjoy reading, though my preference is factual textbooks and other related material. Likewise, reading so much over the years has helped me develop my intelligence and intellect, and I aim to use a broad range of vocabulary whenever I write or speak to other well-educated professionals. In my intelligence, I am also very clever and logical, as I easily notice things that most people would overlook, and I have the ability to develop ideas based on logic along with common sense.
While I share a lot of Meg’s flaws and even those of Elsa, like them, and Belle, I am still a kind, selfless person who cares about the welfare of others, especially those closest to me, friends and family alike. As I said above, I relate to Meg and Belle at once because I am an assertive person who speaks up when something is on my mind. In a situation where I feel confident that something isn’t right, I don’t keep it to myself. I don’t hide or repress anything; I stand up for whatever it is in which I believe. I also refuse to allow other people to sway, oppress, manipulate, silence, or humiliate me, particularly misogynistic men. Although I am optimistic in believing there are more good people in the world than bad people, I am still reserved when it comes to meeting new people, I aim to keep my guard up, be alert, and not let anyone attempt to take advantage of me. Furthermore, even though I have felt and still sometimes feel insecure about myself just as Elsa has, I still feel comfortable enough in my own skin that I don’t care what people think about me. From these women’s own films and others, I’ve listened to the famous advice that all that truly matters is what I think, not what other people think, and so it’s something I take to heart.
Flaws and positive traits alike, they are what make Elsa, Meg, and Belle great role models for girls and young women, which is why they are among my top favorite Disney heroines! 😄
I owe a thanks to my dearest friend and soul sister @minervadeannabond for coming up with the title of this analysis. I try to live up to my title as the Queen of Puns, but sometimes I still have trouble, and she’s always there when I need her. I love you much, girl! 😁😊❤️❣️

   The library was serene.
Late in the afternoon, likely mere minutes away from the final bell tolling, it was doused in dappled colours of the sunset. Orange, red, pink, mostly but sometimes, when the weather was poor, it was more grey and violet. Today it had been raining and so, the window panes fogged with condensation and the courtyards and gardens the windows looked out on glistened with puddles. It might yet rain again. The skies were certainly threatening another murky, wintry downpour, perhaps even hail this time.
The library had become a place, as of late, where Laura and Minori could both escape the Tropical Club for a moment of peace and quiet. It was not because they did not love their fellow club members, but sometimes it was nice to get away and recharge. Minori appreciated it and Laura… Laura wasn’t quite an introvert but she liked the library as well.
She had a fascination recently for perspectives not quite her own. And to her, a mermaid, there was none a perspective more alien than that of a human's and she could always probe Minori for opinions even more eclectic than most as she was knowledgeable in ways Laura would consider arcane. To her, at least. And possibly to her peers as well as she was just that little bit strange. Even for a human.
And so, they read together. Minori was seated at the table, shoes together underneath it as she kept her elbows to herself like she was dining but no, she was only eating the pages of a book ravenously. Reverse engineering them for what made them good for the sake of her own craft.
Laura, meanwhile, was perched on top of the table and in constant motion. She was swinging her legs to and fro, humming to herself as she reread The Little Mermaid. She was going to give Minori a good run for her money in numbers of rereads of that particular fairy tale.
But it made Minori curious. She couldn’t get Laura out of her head. She had become a dear companion, one who was so treasured she could bypass Minori’s precious solitude. Even and especially in her inner sanctum but this afternoon, which was so heavy and cold, Minori felt particularly curious. She wasn’t sure why. Maybe she was having a bad day, maybe she was having an extraordinarily good one: either way she felt that curiosity on a trail from the bottom of her spine upwards.
   So, she asked.
“Laura, does the ending of that book ever scare you?” Minori asked. She looked up from her book and her glasses shone as her curiosity had reached its fever pitch.
“What do you mean?” Laura asked idly. She hummed casually, as though she didn’t really get Minori’s point or what she was implying towards.
“It's just…” Minori mumbled and she shuffled herself. She wasn’t getting cold feet, it was just an uncomfortable topic to broach.
“It's just what?” Laura prompted her.
“The protagonist turns into seafoam at the end, wouldn’t the same fate befall you as well when you pass?” Minori asked. Her words were tumbling out. She felt flushed, like she wasn’t making sense.
Laura turned her head and her expression was irate but puzzled, “Huh?” she snarled. “This is fiction, not fact. Mermaids do not turn into seafoam under any circumstance.”
   “Oh.” Minori mumbled, disappointed.
Laura shrugged, “You can’t believe everything you read about mermaids, especially from humans who don’t know better.”
“I suppose you're right.” Minori replied in a tiny voice.
Laura bent dramatically over the table, so she was practically flat to it. She sighed and huffed, enjoying her little moment of attention where she got to refute the great and powerful mind of Ichinose Minori. It was absolutely going to her already big head and she was savouring it. She was literally rolling around in it, mildly annoying Minori but it was best not to disrupt Laura when she was having a moment or else she got worse.
Fortunately, Laura finished up her theatrics soon enough. She pulled herself back upright onto the table. She flicked her hair about, almost hitting Minori in the face and when she felt all ruffled out in a good way, she smacked her lips together. Satisfied. And now it was Laura’s turn to take curiosity in Minori. She peered closer to Minori and the book she was reading. Laura blinked, she looked perplexed. That could not be right but this book was undeniably in Minori’s hands.
“You don’t normally read books with quite so many pictures.” Laura commented.
“It's good to get out of your comfort zone occasionally.” Minori replied.
“Yes, that’s true, I suppose.” Laura agreed, she began kicking her feet again.
“And I want to read anything with mermaids in it.” Minori added.
Laura’s eyes went wide and bright, “Mermaids? Of course a mermaid nerd like you would want to know more but why go to those silly books when I’m right here?” she asked.
“I’m too embarrassed, I guess.” Minori admitted.
Laura nodded her head. That sounded like Minori as well.
“So what’s that book about? More myths of seafoam for me to dispel?” Laura asked.
“Not quite but it does deal with mortality again. This manga is inspired by an old myth that eating the flesh of a mermaid will grant you immortality and longevity.” Minori said and her eyes flicked up to Laura from behind her glasses, “Is that true?” She asked most pertinently.
Laura hummed, “I’m not sure actually.” she confessed.
   “Truly?” Minori was taken aback.
“Well, mermaids are very good at evading capture, we never leave the depths of the Grand Ocean so reports of missing mermaids are uncommon. It's weirdos like the Witch and her servants we ought to be wary of when it comes to population displaced by the kingdom which is very, very rare. So if a mermaid, or any magical creature of the sea, goes missing and is captured… Who knows? It could very well be true.” Laura explained.
   “Interesting.” Minori mumbled.
“Funnily enough,” Laura added, “there’s a myth that we have about humans. That eating them will grant us eternity but why do we need it? We already live for hundreds of years, anything more would be greedy, without a legacy.”
Minori’s nose wrinkled with laughter. Her manga posited the same thing of mermaids, that eating human flesh could be beneficial to them. She didn’t say it aloud, though. Laura turned her head, her eyes were manic and dazzling. Inhuman. Minori was suddenly very aware that though she looked human, Laura was not human.
There was a way her eyes glistened that looked like it could cut through the dark. Her skin and her hair was supernaturally beautiful. There was a flare to her ears, ever so slightly, which hinted back to the fins that she would don in her true form. Laura stared and Minori stared back, enraptured.
“Would you be interested in that? Because truth be told, I would, in a heartbeat.” Laura asked and she sounded nigh bloodthirsty. “Immortality? Longevity?” She sounded as though she were really, truly offering her body for the experiment and for human greed. She liked that. The mystique that she now had over Minori.
“No.” Minori answered though she did take her time.
“I think I would.” Laura mused. “Being Queen for all eternity… That sounds like a dream in a dream.”
“It sounds like tyranny to me. Misery, as well.” Minori said. “Watching all your friends grow old and pass away without you.”
“All the new and exciting developments that could take place beyond your natural lifespan.” Laura countered.
Minori shook her head, “There’s already too much to experience from what came before me.”
“Yet more time to catch up then.” Laura giggled.
“I would want to know what comes after the end. I believe that I already have enough time to accomplish what I want in life, you may be greedy but I know my limits.” Minori explained.
“The big mystery, huh…?” Laura mused. She was curious too, actually. She shrugged. “Fair enough.”
Minori was quietly pleased with herself that she had managed to match and even overturn Laura in this debate. Usually, the exercise was most like trying to debate with a brick wall but lately, Laura had been expanding herself. Minori had noted it most obviously from when she had cancelled her bid for School President.
Laura chuckled cheekily to herself and her gaze slid back to her side, down to Minori, “But there’s only one true way to discover the nature of these myths, don’t you think?” Laura taunted her.
Minori blinked. She wasn’t sure if she knew what Laura was talking about and so she stayed quiet.
“Don’t you remember?” Laura sounded as though she were boasting because she had gotten yet another one-up on the wide and interesting mind of Ichinose Minori. “Weren’t you taught in science class the correct way of hypothesising and testing, you literature geek? I was.”
   “Oh, I was.” Minori murmured.
“Then why not try?” Laura asked. She held out her hand to Minori. “Why not just a taste?”
“And doom myself to an eternity wandering the earth until everything I love is-” Minori almost found herself finishing that sentence with dust but her eyes glimmered, there was a more poetic word choice, she realised, “-is seafoam.”
“Perhaps, only one way to find out.” Laura teased her, waggling her fingers in a wave pattern. She had de-transformed and now, it was her tail that she kicked, the pink, translucent fins of it glittering in the late afternoon sun.
“Fine.” Minori replied. “But you are aware that the average human can bite through your bone like it is a carrot, right?”
“Oh, please, I have swam with sharks and much scarier, toothier threats than you lot.” Laura casually retorted. She bared her teeth and Minori had never noticed just how unusual looking they were. They were fearsome and sharp.
“If you say so.” Minori said.
She felt awkward but she leaned in. Laura’s hands were truly her charm point. Her nails were immaculate, her cuticles were all pushed back. They looked nothing like Minori’s picked and chewed nails. Not to mention her hands themselves were gorgeous and delicate. There was a smattering of scales of her arms and her fins dangled, catching light which had begun to darken with either twilight or a storm.
Minori kissed the back of Laura’s hand. She smelt of sea salt and kelp. It was a cold, organic smell that intrigued Minori. She drew back, licked her lips and tried to convince herself that she was hungry for fish sticks - as what else were the fingers of a mermaid if not those?
She sucked Laura’s fingers. Just her index, as an entree, a main, and even a dessert, and she tasted fishy. Minori closed her eyes and she suckled. Laura laughed. Minori’s tongue was velvet soft on her finger and when Minori bit down, ever so slightly, just enough to prick her and taste her blood. Minori forced herself to swallow.
She pulled back and hid her mouth. The taste could not be described as coppery or like iron, like how she had read. It tasted like something else. It tasted savoury and like umami. In the simplest terms, she liked it.
“Did you like it?” Laura asked, she tilted her head to the left slightly. “How do I taste?”
She held her hand out and let droplet after droplet of blood drip from her finger, she cared not for her injury and Minori was mesmerised by the effect of it. It then began to rain, they could both hear the sound of hitting the roof and the windowpane. Laura’s finger still dripped as well and now her blood pooled on the table unclean.
“Delicious.” Minori stated in reply and the final school bell tolled. She wondered if her own bells would one day chime to commemorate her passing after consuming even just a morsel of mermaid flesh.

Vibe-spotting: INFJ
>> “Wait, you’re an introvert?!” Of all the 16 types, INFJ is the hardest to spot. While they could be seen daydreaming in the shadows, they may also be the life of the party. Because they are curious about the human mind, enjoy learning about and understanding people, and are invested in their friendships, they’re the most outgoing and social out of all the introvert types, to the point where they’ll have others fooled into thinking they’re an extrovert. But if you examine their patterns more closely, you’ll realize they are indeed true introverts, internally-focused individuals who need alone time to recharge. Because they are so perfectionistic, they’ll only socialize when “mentally prepared,” as socializing requires a lot of effort for them. Last minute hangouts are not their cup of tea; they prefer to arrive put-together and “ready” to engage. When busy introverting, they’ll hide for days to recuperate and you won’t see them, and will emerge only when they have the energy: thus presenting a perfectly crafted picture of themselves to others as being social or charismatic ALL. THE. TIME. At 1% of the population, INFJs are the rarest and most easily misunderstood type, and the “veil” of extroversion makes them even harder to pin down.
Even though they may be quite social, respecting their (oftentimes unrecognized) need for space and solitude is a must; they can become burnt out and irritable if they don’t get enough alone time.
>> May seem slightly menacing or intimidating. May initially seem cold, as if they’re judging you, but that’s because they’re working out who you are with eerie accuracy and hope to advocate for you. Once they do, assuming they like you, they’ll unrelentingly support your visions, help you reach your full potential, and encourage you to be your highest self. They are actually quite friendly, peaceful, and warm-hearted. They can be unexpectedly pushy and forceful for an introvert, hence the “J” in INFJ.
>> Something otherworldly about them, they seem to have an inherent wisdom (hence INFJs are often portrayed in fiction as characters such as Dumbledore, Gandalf, Yoda). They dance to their own rhythm, seem a bit psychic, can predict how situations will unfold frighteningly well. This also applies to social situations, though they can have random socially clueless/ oblivious moments.
>> Can seem accessible on the surface, but is secretly very private. You’ll think you’ve gotten to know them, only to discover another layer. Despite being guarded themselves, they can be quite probing in getting to know *you,* which they’ll do with keen insight and perceptiveness. You may find you feel more comfortable revealing your true thoughts and secrets to an INFJ than you do other types. The fact that they’re able to be so highly accomplished and bring so much energy into living out their goals and dreams only contributes to the aura of mystery. Although they’re daydreamers with vivid imaginations, they are equal parts dreamer and doer.
>> The most cerebral, intellectual, and rational out of all the Feeler types.
>> Often staring off into the distance, zoning out. But when they really *look* at you their gaze is intense and penetrating as if they’re x-raying your soul. However that same that same gaze can also make you feel safe and adored.
>> Can get irritable if they feel their time is being wasted. They often seem slightly restless as if they’re always on a schedule. (Hence the “J”).
>> Take what they say at face-value. Don’t bother trying to ‘psychoanalyze’ them, you’ll only wind up more confused. Because they’re highly complex, you can be assured no one knows them better than themselves. They tend to avoid people who are unnecessarily critical or abrasive. This is primarily because as perfectionists, they are already so hard on themselves; they set high expectations for themselves and don’t like to let others down. They often have very specific reasons for doing the things they do, and act out of what they believe to be the best intentions, so others’ judgments may only contribute to their already present patterns of feeling misunderstood or isolated/alienated.
>> Express themselves better through writing, so may hide behind a screen as as a replacement for actual socializing. It’s okay to remind them that facebook messages and texts can’t replace face-to-face interaction.
>> Dressed simply but well.
>> Best matches: other INFJ, INTJ, INFP, INTP, ENTP, ENFJ, ENFP
