Shrignold wholeheartedly acceptd taking care of luna. he did everything in his power not to end up as a shitty father figure like malcum. Hes surprisingly good with kids too so raising luna was pretty easy. He's highky overprotective for a number of reasons but thats for me to yap about another day.

Larry was more chill with luna. He let her get away with underage drinking, driving, drinking AND driving, tax fraud, eating candy past 10pm all that stuff. But she felt comfortable going to him to talk about anything really.

since she's created in a lab, she grows up faster than others. She only stops rapid growth after she hits the adult stage of her life cycle

Hi!

I think Harry would behave pretty differently in any relationship he's in since Harry takes a lot of social cues from whoever he's with. Like, his friendship with Ron is different from his friendship with Hermione, which is different from his friendship with Luna — like, Harry fits himself to whoever he is with. (I think it's in large part due to his background and low self-esteem)

Like. The most major difference between Ginny and Cho and any guy he might get with is how much Harry cares and whether he actually knows the person. Because I mentioned with Ginny and Cho how Harry does a lot of projecting and doesn't really know them as people. Like the second anon said, it was because he needed a girl to appear normal — to feel like he was a regular teenager.

In general, Harry, as a romantic partner, when he actually cares about his partner, would probably be incredibly loyal and attentive. We know he can pay tons of attention to any tiny detail when he cares. He'd probably be able to read his partner's moods so well because he'd bother to observe. With his intuition and attentiveness, it would almost be like Legilemancy (but Harry would never, he just knows how to read people he cares about). He'd probably be very protective of his partner (as we see him with his friends). He's the kind of guy who'll step in front to shield anyone he cares about. And I don't think he'd fall for the trap of overprotectiveness with a partner he actually likes, respects, and sees as an equal.

He'd probably not be one for pda or initiating physical affection in general, but over time he'd probably become more comfortable with it in private. I can't see him wanting to broadcast his relationships to the Wizarding World beyond making sure everyone knows he's taken so they'd shut up and stop asking him about it. He just strikes me as a private sort of person.

He's a pretty thoughtful gift giver, so there's that, too. I think Harry doesn't speak up his affection often (I mean, with his childhood, it's no wonder), but he'd show it. He'd be super attentive and thoughtful, and he'll say how important his partner is to him even if it'll take him time to get to "I love yous."

We do see him being pretty jealous over Ginny, so I think it'd be worse if he actually cared about the person and didn't just delude himself he does. Like, he'd have the most deadly of glares saved for people who talk to his partner.

Like, regardless of anything, he'd probably be pretty awkward about the whole relationship thing when he actually cares at first. Like, he was pretty awkward when he thought he had a crush on Cho, when he actually has a crush, it'll be worse, but also better. Like, depending on when in his life and the specific circumstances having actual feelings for his love interest could make him more or less awkward.

But besides that, with every partner, Harry would be different.

I made no secret of the fact I'm no Drarry shipper l, but I think Harry and Draco would have a similar dynamic to canon, in a way. Like, they'd be a bit obsessive, super competitive over everything, Draco would thrive on every bit of Harry's attention. Harry is pretty quiet, so I could see Draco speaking more often, and Harry'd listen. Kinda like how Harry is with Ron and Hermione, where these two talk more than him in conversations, but Harry doesn't mind because he likes listening to them, so the same thing.

Depending on when you get them together, the dynamic would also change. Post-war Drarry and Hogwarts years Drarry have a very different flavor to their interactions. With post-war Drarry having more of an understanding of each other, as Draco already had his major character growth. Pre-war, they'll have a bit more struggles in the getting-together phase. I think post-war drarry would work better, because, before it, I think Draco is just, very immature compared to Harry. Like, Draco acts his age, he's a dumb teen, but Harry, even as a child, is a bit mature in certain ways, so I think there'd be clashes there.

Nottpott is a ship im fully behind. Theo is as quiet as Harry (even quite), which would encourage Harry to externalize a lot of his thoughts, same as he'd encourage Theo to do. They both had crappy childhoods and share a lot of experiences, so they're on the same page from the get-go. Like, I think they're both experienced with having the maturity of being forced to grow up a little too early.

I imagine they chill with sometimes just sitting quietly together, with Harry filling in the silence more often than Theo (compared to Draco, with whom it'll be different). I think there would be less pda between Nottpott than between Drary, I feel Draco is more of a touchy person than Theo, definitely when it comes to the public eye. I think Theo would be boastful of dating Harry, not in the "I'm dating the Boy Who Lived" kinda way, but in the "I'm dating the best most brilliant person I know" kind of way, which Harry would get super bashful about (I'm all for anything that raises Harry's self-esteem). On the other direction, I think Harry would bring Theo out of his shell and unteach him a lot of crappy coping mechanisms and re-teach him to show more emotion.

I see Theo as more ruthless than Draco, so he'd be like a Harry enforcer. Harry wants something done, Theo would find out how — poison, archaic rituals, dark spells, whatever else — Theo would find it and be willing to use it.

I like to think of Theo as an external self-preservation extension for Harry. Someone who tells Harry and shows him he is worthy enough to be protected because Theo would be willing to endanger himself for Harry's sake (something he won't do for anyone else). (I think this last paragraph applies to Drarry too, since Draco has more self-preservation than Harry. Although, that's not a high bar. But he doesn't like seeing Harry in actual danger even in canon). The idea is that I like pairing Harry with a partner who doesn't want him to put himself in danger while not treating him like he's made of glass (cause he'd hate it), unlike Ginny who finds Harry endangering himself dreamy and part of the "Boy Who Lived" ideal.

So, yeah, I kinda rambled here, but I think Harry would be a really considerate and attentive, if awkward at first romantic partner if he actually cared about his partner.

Drarry 

‘Deep breaths’ draco thought as he stood outside of the gryffindoor common room. ‘Its ok he and harry were public now, he was allowed to be here’ it still didnt stop his hands from shaking but he eventually worked up the nerve to go in. (harry had given him the password). 

He walked in and was shocked be how cosy it was. There were a bunch of people lounging on the couches or laying on the floor. Some people were doing homework but mostly everyone was just talking. In the center of the room on the couch harry sat with his friends. He looked up and caught sight of draco standing by the door.

“Draco,” he called out waving. ‘Well it was to late to turn back now’ draco thought as he starting weaving his way through the crowd tword harry. He was sitting next to his two friends the weasly kid and the mudbl- no her name was hermione. Draco was trying to move away from using words like that but old habit die hard. 

“Hi harry” draco said as he sat down next to him. He and harry had been together for a while but it was still weird calling him by his first name in public. He wasnt used to not having to pretend to hate harry in the halls. Harry smiled and wrapped his arm around draco pulling him against his chest. 

“Hi babe”

Draco and harry had had a conversation and agreed that they were both comfortable with PDA but it was still new. He glanced around selfconscious and saw a few people shooting them looks. His and harrys relationship was still new and the golden boy dating a malfoy was still fresh gossip. Eventually people went back to there conversations and draco couldnt help but relax into harrys warm touch. He was talking to luna and draco was content to just sit there and listen, basking in harrys warm touch.

 A little while later he felt harry shake him gently. Draco had fallen asleep in harrys lap and as he slowly opened his eyes he saw that the common room was mostly empty. The only people left were harry, obviously, hermione and ron, the weasley twins, and luna. 

“Babe, its time to go to bed, do you want me to walk you back to your dorm?” harry asked genty as draco sat up. 

“Um actually i was wondering if i could sleep with you,” draco said burying his face in harrys chest embarrassed. 

“of course you can, love” harry said tilting dracos head up and kissing him softly. A corus of awwws filled the room and draco put his face back into harrys chest, blushing. Harry smiled and grabbed his hand standing up with him.

“Well goodnight yall,” harry said to the rest of the people in the room.

“Night, mate, please dont have sex when were in the room” ron said. 

Draco blushed red and dropped harrys hand.

“Wh- what wer- were not, we werent,”

“Its ok mate” ron said laughing a bit. “I was just teasing you. Goodnight”

“Goodnight”  draco took harrys hand back in his and as the walked up the stairs he saw that he was smiling.

Omnics and Sexuality

I've posted about omnic characters' gender identity, so now let's talk about sexuality. I know lots of fanartist and fanfiction writers will give them genitals or make it so that playing with their wires will achieve something like an orgasm. My hc is that omnics can't feel physical pain or pleasure. Some like the emotional closeness of sex acts, some have no strong feelings about it and will do it for their partners' sake, some are actively grossed out by it, and everywhere else on the sexuality spectrum.

Zenyatta: Maybe Demisexual or Asexual. If my memory of the lore is correct, him becoming a wandering guru meant that he is not officially a monk anymore? So if he wanted to, he could try intimacy. But I hc that he's never really thought about it or experienced a want for that sort of intimacy. So, at this point in his life, his sexuality is very undefined. I don't think he's even seen a human naked. His anatomy knowledge is that guys have a penis, girls have vaginas. What actually are these things? No idea!

Ramattra: would die before having a human partner. So I hc that his sexuality would just be a copy of his omnic partner's. If taking off their clothes and touching each other is what they need to feel connected, Ramattra will oblige. If physical intimacy is completely out of the question, that's great. As long as they can still cuddle, hug, and hold hands.

Bastion and Orisa: despite being war machines created for combat and bloodshed, I hc they are mentally very young and probably don't understand what sex is. Maybe in a couple years, they'll mature and do some self-discovery. But right now, they have no more sexuality then a human child does.

Lynx Seventeen: Pansexual. Attracted to confidence, reliability, generosity, and loyalty. When their partner, omnic or human, trusts them enough to be vulnerable and intimate with them, they take it VERY seriously. With an omnic partner, they will ask 20 questions about how best to satisfy and make them feel loved. With a human partner, they take it as a mission of utmost importance to figure out how to give this particular human the best orgasm of their life. Lynx will have a stopwatch in one hand and a spreadsheet on the nightstand, archiving data on what actions get the desired responses. Rising from the bed quickly, you started pulling your clothes back on, preventing Cedric from pulling you back onto the bed and into his arms. You heard him groan in disappointment, “Why can’t you stay?” You laugh and shake your head, sliding your jeans on. He always wanted you to stay after one of your encounters. “For five minutes?” he tries to bargain with you.

You take a look at yourself in the mirror and wipe away the smudged eyeliner under your eyes. Without turning back to him, you speak, “As tempting as you offer is, I’m still going to go.” Cedric sighs. “Besides, I don’t think friends with benefits snuggle with each other,” you joke around as Cedric just rolls his eyes before a small smile tugs at his lips.

This friends with benefits relationship started last year between you and Cedric. The two of you had undeniably chemistry and after one night of sitting in the common room together, you had shared your first kiss which eventually developed into something more that night. The thing about this relationship was that you didn’t expect it to go on for this long. You had been sleeping with Cedric on and off for about a year which was never your intention. You thought that it would maybe last three months, but instead you found yourself knocking on his door for longer than that.

You couldn’t help it. There was something about Cedric Diggory that made you want more. He was charming, smart, and handsome. What was not to like? The only thing that stood in your way of a casual hook up with him was Cedric’s blossoming feelings for you. His mouth moved to greet the person who sat on the bench next to him. Cho took a seat next to him as he draped an arm around her shoulders, her giggling. You walk in their general direction, not stopping to say hi to them, just passing the bench the pair was sat on. However, Cho looks up and speaks. “Oh, hi, (Y/N)!” she beams. 

Matching her energy, you speak, “Hi, Cho!” You smile at her and send her a wave. Looking at Cedric, you say nothing and continue to walk, ignoring his whole presence. As you walked away, you felt his eyes on you the whole time, a smirk playing out on your lips. “Prick,” you huff under your breath.

His face changes from frustration and softens into concern. “I’ve been how relationships can affect people. I’ve comforted too many friends before. Heartbreak seems too painful and I don’t need anymore pain in my life. Because I know if I lost you, it would be the greatest pain of all,” you cry out.

After you spill out your feelings to Cedric, you bury your face in your hands and sob. It isn’t long before Cedric runs over to you and holds you in his arms, you burying your face in his chest, sobbing into his robes. Warning: can be a little cringey

You and doyoung were spending your weekend very casually and lightly. Just spending quality time together from the busy week. You wanted to go to the ice cream parlour and there you go, doyoung immediately followed your order afterall you were and are his most important person.

“Doyoung, I would want to have a chocolate brownie ice cream. What about you?” You asked while scanning the menu card to not miss out any latest season flavours.

“I would go with what you like”

You immediately looked up at him to find him already staring at you with a soft smile. A blush creeping on your face. You looked back at the menu but this time quite flustered, not able to focus on the flavours anymore.

Why is he soo cheeky today?

You thought to yourself and shook your head lightly, your smile not even faltering a bit.

Taking your orders, you guys sat on the bench in the garden, the calm cool breeze relaxing and soothing you. Not much people were there around and it felt very peaceful.

You were lost in your thoughts until suddenly doyoung held your wrist and pushed the ice cream in his mouth, eating a full bite of it.

You quite did not understand but were a bit surprised at his sudden action.

“Doyoung you..”

“Where were you lost honey, your ice cream was melting and was gonna ruin your new pants” the man said, small frown on his face and was looking around to grab some tissues for you.

He gets worried even for small things

A look of admiration for him in your eyes. He was looking around and his eyes immediately locked with yours to find you already staring at him with warmth and love, his features relaxed, getting lost in your beautiful eyes.

He sat back at his place besides you, staring deeply in your eyes. He arched an eyebrow, his eyes mischievous and immediately you gulped and broke the eye contact, looking anywhere but not him. You heard a chuckle from the man besides you but you did not look at him.

“You know I don’t like to share my ice cream” you looked back at him with a small frown but playfulness was completely laced in your tone. You took a bite of your ice cream while humming your favourite song and looked at him to find him staring at your lips. Before you could say anything, he pecked your lips and then licked his.

“Y-you” completely flustered, you were unable to form words. Doyoung was never a PDA person but today he was entirely different.

Closing the distance between you once more, the man was only inches away from you.

“You say you don’t like to share your ice cream, you say you hate it but your red face is telling me otherwise” he winked and got up to grab some snacks for you. Turning back,

“That ice cream was definitely sweet, but the one I got to taste right now was beyond delicious, you know that’s my favourite flavour right”

And with that he went, a huge grin on his face and you a complete red tomato.

top 5 gastina moments

Gastina moments? You threw me a curveball didn't you since I love all of them, but I'll try to give you a couple

1. The blindfold scene S1E73-74

It is not the most iconic Gastina scene without a reason. It just is such a cute scene and shows a respectful Gastón really is, always respecting her boundaries. I also have the headcanon about the scarf and how Luna gave it to Nina afterward, and I wish this would have been implemented in the show and we could have seen Nina wear it.

2. The locker scene S2E2

we always joke on this fandom that S2 was the season where they started serving that hormone juice at Roller. I just love this scene, because it gives us a pretty good scope on how they actually act when there is no one else around and even in public they were not exactly shy on PDA. I have full analysis of this scene coming so I gonna refrain from saying anything else here.

3. Videomessage -> kiss S1E79-80

How could I exclude THE scene where Gastina became canon?

Okay, I actually picked a bit more unconventional scenes for the last two. These scenes are some that you don't usually think of when you think iconic Gastina moments and they are definitely underrated. But I'll explain why I love these

4. "Should I be jealous?" S2E35

This is the scene right before the Oxford fight when they talk about Nina's post about Roller team. Why I really love this scene is the exchange where Gastón says that he kind of misses Felicity and Nina shoots back about if she should be jealous. I love the call back to the start of their relationship.

5. Scene at the lockers in S2E36

This is a really unconventional choice to say that this is a good Gastina scene since they are actually kind of broken up during this (I don't personally think that they were broken broken up during this, but it is very hard to tell since there are like three different scenes that you can consider as their S2 break-up scene.), but this is such a good scene. They are in a fight and Gastón is angry at Nina for a good reason, but he never badmouths her or even shouts at her and even hears her out. Lutteo could never do that, Leonatta has never managed it or any other Violetta couple. I have a full essay about this scene as well

And now the bromances, so I get to flex out my other fandoms. These are not in any particular order except the no. 1.

- Manuel and Gopal (Aliados)

I have not been able talk about my love for Aliados very much. Manuel is without any question of my favorite characters and that is not only because he is played by Agus. Manuel and Gopal had probably the best missions x ally dynamic. Their relationship really started when Gopal saver Manuel's life and as a result left the mirror (even if that was Germing and Damon's intention). Then of course Gopal saved Manuel's life again after he attempted to commit suicide. Do I only love them because this was the start of MYA? Maybe, but the relationship is still super unique because it started with Manuel thinking that he was crazy seeing Gopal in the mirror and in the end accepting that he did exist, and due to that Manuel actually became the first one to be aware of the light beings. I know this probably did not make any sense to people who have not seen Alioados, but that is how I feel. Go watch the show, it is dark and mentally very taxing, but very good.

- Harry Potter and Ron Weasley (Harry Potter)

My original favorite male friendship! I am a big but passive Potter head who loves Ron Weasley too much. Ron was Harry's first friend, the one who provided him the family he never had. Golden trio is the golden trio, but Ron and Harry are still Ron and Harry, and Hermione doesn't compare. If someone doesn't agree, then go read Goblet of fire.
