Biden Informs Nation of Wonderful New Employment Opportunity That Allows You to Be Your Own Boss
Tumblr media
WASHINGTON, D.C - Wanting to help the American people during a time of economic uncertainty, President Biden has informed the nation of a new alternative employment opportunity that he learned about while scrolling Facebook. The new self-employment opportunity, dubbed “Multi-level Marketing”, has members promoting and selling various products, with hopes that they’ll join the team to promote these products as well.
“With many Americans are struggling under our economy due to corporate greed, it’s about time that Americans ditch their employers and become their own boss.” Biden said during a televised speech to the nation.
“That’s where the exciting initiative of Multi-level Marketing comes in. Multi-level Marketing is simple because everything is already provided for you. All you have to do is buy a bunch of products from our affiliate companies and pitch them to your friends and family in order to inspire them to do the same thing. This is the definition of working for yourself and being your own boss, folks. I personally just sold 30 thousand dollars worth of products last week, and if I can do it, you can too. So what are you waiting for? Join the family today!”
At publishing time, Biden sent out a clipboard to allow reporters to sign up if they wanted to, with spots reportedly being filled up within minutes. Biden also provided a link on the White House website for others to sign up within the coming days.

PSA: The only job where the recruiter texts you 5 times to set up a convenient interview time for the job because you didn't respond to them is a job where the purpose is to recruit more people to that job. AKA a MLM job. AKA a pyramid scheme. AKA it's a scam and not worth your time.

Does Mr. Turner like rubbing his “son’s” successful career in Dinkleberg’s face??
Tumblr media
He does! He brags about Timmy's success to every person within the neighborhood's vicinity. Mr. Turner loves how successful his son is! It really secures his reputation at the neighborhood HOA meetings they host at their house.
Timmy's worked very hard to gain more successes than failures. The more successful he is, the greater his family's social standing!! And the less he gets to overhear his dad ranting to the neighborhood about his failures.

The Tin Can Bros have made two amazing musicals about MLM culture.
The only difference between them is what definition of MLM they use.

WOULD THE BG3 COMPANIONS FALL FOR AN MLM SCHEME?
Wyll: Yes, but he insists he knows what he's doing and he is not out of his depth, yet. (He is lying, both to you and himself.)
Shadowheart: Yes, and she regrets the choice every waking day. She's in far too deep now and so has just resigned herself to selling catalogue products in her garage for the rest of her life.
Lae'zel: Yes. Her sales technique is formidable. She's a true believer who hasn't quite cottoned on to the fact that it's a total scam yet.
Karlach: Yes!! See, her friend Fytz got her on it, yeah, and it's a good way to make a quick buck, and she has looads of friends back at the Gate she could get in contact with and use to make it work, and – and – (hook line and sinker with this girl)
Gale: Yes, he would. Gale insists he knows what an MLM scam is and seems utterly convinced that this particular scheme isn't one of those. He will use his big brain of his to rationalise why joining this totally-a-scam scheme is actually the logical and sensible thing to do.
Astarion: Not only would Astarion fall for an MLM scheme, hook line and sinker, but Astarion has convinced himself that if he plays his cards right, he can be running this whole damn scheme in six months. He just needs to sell all this backlog he's got in his apartment first–

Investing in Cryptocurrency is Bad and Stupid
If you’ve been reading our blog for long, you probably could’ve guessed we think investing in cryptocurrency is bad and stupid.
And yeah, I considered using more expansive words like “unethical” and “speculative” instead of “bad and stupid.” Those words had precision, but lacked panache.
Our Patreon donors vote on potential article topics, and this month they wanted to read our thoughts on investing in cryptocurrency. So we get questions about it all the time! Which isn’t surprising. Relative to cash and traditional investment vehicles, crypto is new and confusing. To make matters worse, there’s so much hype surrounding it in the personal finance world that research feels like reading a data science textbook through a swarm of bees.
Mercifully, we’re not here to explain what crypto is, or how the mysterious blockchain technology works (others have done that intolerably boring work for us). Rather, we’re going to release you from caring about crypto in the first place!
So it’s our personal opinion that investing in cryptocurrency is bad and stupid, and you shouldn’t do it. Here’s why.
Did we just help you out? Say thanks on Patreon!
