How to make food for your ESSA/Plushies

Plushies are wonderful creatures who like to eat too! Here is how to make food for them :]

You will need: Paper, pencil, pen, crayons or colored pencils, cardboard, glue, clear tape, and scissors

(Below cut)

1. Do some research into what your stuffie likes to eat. Things like personality and species can help! For example, my ESSA Jam is a red panda, and she also likes sweets!

2. Sketch out the food. Keep in mind the size and shape, as anything too small or complex will be hard to cut out later! Then line and color your drawings.

Red Pandas live in India and China, so I wanted to put in some candies from those areas too. Also those Japanese sugar star candies are in there because they're too cute to resist!!

3. Cut out and paste. Cut out your drawings in vague shapes, not too close quite yet! Add glue to the back of the drawing, making sure you cover the entire drawing, and glue it to the cardboard. Then wait for it to dry and cover it with your clear tape. This is to make it shiny and stronger!

4. Cut out your drawings, this time on the line. Be very careful not to chop off any parts!! Also be careful of your fingers!

Now you have stuffie food!! I made some for my other ESSA as well.

You can also trace the shape and draw a back, cover that in clear tape, cut it out, and glue it onto the back, to make your food double-sided. I decided to keep mine one sided for now though :]
