They get married to shore up Shang Qinghua's position and to get the advisors off Mobei's back but it just means they can talk in Mobei's room without people freaking out

They sleep together a lot just because they feel more comfortable with someone watching their back and are more likely to part with a fist bump then a kiss

But because they aren't romantic they are harder to drive a wedge between. Someone flirts with them and it's not jealousy the other feels but amusement at the others increasing annoyance at the person flirting

They encourage people to flirt with their husband as a prank

And cheating rumours don't affect them

I’m so sorry but I can not stand when some headcannons a character as Aromantic just because they don’t want that character to be in a relationship. I’m Aro and it feels so icky to me. Like I’m all for Aro hcs but also people who do feel romantic feelings can exist without romance in their lives.

Like no u don’t want that character to be Aro, you just don’t like the ship there in or you just want them to be single

Evan enjoyed the dark aspects to magic and life. This was not only because of his upbringing around dark magic, though that is where his interest was first kindled.

Evan was more content to see his friends happy than to worry about dating himself. He never really thought about it, just wanting to have his close friends in his life.

Evan would join Bartylus occasionally in the bedroom, though he was only ever allowed to touch Regulus. Regulus never shared.

At the risk of sounding all "villain = loveless = aromantic" I do really like imagining Maddie as aromantic.

Maddie who was never going to fall in love with Cait, but who is desperate to prove herself. Aro (and orphan?) Maddie whose most important relationship is the one she has with her general. Maddie who has always seen being strong and being useful as preferable to being loved. Maddie who was never Noxian enough to fight well (Caitlyn beat her when she had a gun to her head) but who always loved her country.

Maddie who saw Caitlyn as a job, who encouraged Caitlyn to go against Ambessa in hopes that it would turn them against each other sooner so Maddie could kill Caitlyn and move on. Maddie who was jealous of Ambessa's respect for Caitlyn, who never earned that much respect for herself despite putting her country above all else.

Maddie who actually did respect Vi's strength even as she was manipulating her. Maddie who was going to give Caitlyn a quick, painless death until Caitlyn embarrassed her by taking the gun, and then she just *had* to make a dig about Caitlyn’s "warmth", reminding her that she'd gotten past her defenses. Maddie who actually did appreciate Caitlyn’s warmth in bed, who enjoyed sex. Maddie who felt stung every time Caitlyn brushed her off or ignored her, who kept getting increasingly bitter until she couldn't wait to be done with this job.

I dont know what this post became but yeah aro Maddie is fun and maybe one day I'll write something with her being more explicitly aro.

Pinkie Cooper headcanons, because they give me "aro with intense friendship" vibes (it's NOT just out of projection and whatnot)!

Ginger Jones: Cupioromantic (she is described officially even in prototype phase as SUCH a romantic, but never shows even a hint of it in the show) nor is described as that in it, etc.

Pepper Parson: Apothiaro (I kinda know how le "show for girls", work, and according to how Pepper was portrayed and treated, if the show had gone on, she would probably be one with crushes, maybe just rarer crushes, but has a chance of being like "eeeew, romance is icky!")

Pinkie Cooper: Romance-favorable as well, or indifferent. Given that she shows no signs of romance nor mentions of it in even that prototype video, there's a chance romance wasn't really thought out for her (plus she's not the designated watered-down-Rarity of the group), but since she's the main character, and a girl, and supposed to be feminine, etc, she would likely have some love interests and stuff.

How they'd be if I could be in charge of a revival (aged 13+):

Ginger: Cupio to apothi (yes I'm self-projecting). No crushes, ever (I am yet again self-projecting - if I was in charge I'd have fun with Pepper and Pinkie and all, but Ginger would literally just be a thinly-veiled self-insert).

Pepper: Apothi to romance-indifferent. Straight + another aro-spec thing but I'm not sure what.

Pinkie: Indifferent-to-favorable. Abro, romantically.
