The Air Nomads weren’t celibate 🤦‍♀️ Gyatso had a non-bender love interest, Yangchen had a water tribe love interest, the nuns had crushes on Avatar Kuruk, and the Air Nomads obviously dated and had sex with each other. You and everyone else spreading that bs “Aang is a celibate monk” take wants to use it as an excuse to get him out of the way for Zutara, no matter how much you might pretend to ship him with other people.

Smitten: Despite the exuberant and overly romantic behavior, he finds more joy in the little things. The kinda person to watch their loved one pick lint off their clothes and thing about how incredible it is they’re on the same universe together.

Nightmare: She likes dancing, and seeing her flowy skirt swish around, and if someone were to approach and hold her as she spins without fear, she’d be the happiest ghost there is.

Smitten&Nightmare: I also headcanon that Nightmare’s organ shutting down is related to how afraid someone is of her, and so, Smitten isn’t affected at all when alone in her presence (except by her beauty!!!), that alone intrigues Nightmare, and I can see his earnest attitude quickly endearing him to her. I think Smitten would ask to take off her mask, and while he isn’t unaffected, he clings to his fortitude, and Nightmare is also actively trying not to break him. He find the beauty in what she is and then they kiss <3

zutara stans are just v overly defensive of their ship i feel, they rag on kataangers for defending their ship a lot but the difference is k/a hate is based on lying about canon so it's justified for us to and z/k hate is based on......pointing out what actually happened instead of self-serving gaslighting of other fans. it really seems like they just can't enjoy their ship for the dynamic provided in canon and ship it out of hatefullness rather than love and that's just wrong to me as a multishipper(katophaang in any combo + jetara + sapphic katara rarepairs and the big four of zuko ships aka maiko,zukka,ty luko and jetko). i don't mind aus but z/k potrayals are so often just so tasteless and carry weird implications......

I hate that I have ship sensitivities. Makes me feel bad and guilty. I have like over 80 blocked tags because my stupid brain doesn't like seeing ships.

I am very thankful for everyone who tags thoroughly, properly, and especially to those who tag in a way some might consider "overkill." Seriously, I appreciate it so much.

I wonder how much my parents divorce affected this. Because I was kind of a dweeb about this shit before. So yknow, I'm curious.
