This can lead to bone loss and potential loss of muscle that supports and strengthens your bones. So… How do you deal with it? Vitamin and mineral supplements: You might need over-the-counter or prescription calcium or vitamin D supplements. try doing weight-bearing and resistance exercises 3 or 4 days a week. Weight-bearing exercises focus on carrying the weight of your body against gravity. Walking is a great weight-bearing activity, as are running, dancing, aerobics, hiking and tennis, but remember don’t over do it, you can’t be skinny when you’re dead.
Anemia and muscle wasting and weakness: Reduced blood flow: Anemia can limit the delivery of nutrients to muscles and joints, increasing stiffness. If you are iron deficienct but don't have full blown anemia, you can take multivitamins that contain iron. These will help boost your levels and keep you full of energy.

Allergy pills: TAKE ALLERGY MEDICINE!!! Especially if you live in an urban environment that contains a lot of trees that produce pollen. It is not normal to be sniffling, coughing and feeling fatigued just from natural air. Generic works just as well as name brand.

So You Have Thin, Shitty Nails
bruh me too fr. The thickness of your nails is genetically determined, and to a large extent we just have to accept it. You can either augment with artificial nails or embrace a seasonal regrowth cycle. The only exceptions to that biological base point are vitamin deficiencies, hormonal issues, and chronic illness--your body won't put valuable resources into your nails if they're being drained elsewhere. Things that won't help:
Keratin/silk/misc. protein: Yes, your nails are made of keratin. No, dumping protein on top of them won't do anything. It's used in strengtheners to improve the strength of the product.
Calcium: Same. It makes polymer films harder, not your nails.
Vitamin E: Added to products for viscosity. Does not affect nails.
In fact, any topically applied vitamin: All visible nail is dead tissue. It cannot metabolize vitamins.
Nail strengtheners/hardeners: They're just a base coat with added polymers (for a stronger film) and plasticizers (for a more flexible film). They protect nails from further degradation, but cannot improve them in any way.
All of the above are harmless but ineffective. Cosmetics companies make a lot of misleading claims about improving nail health.
What CAN you do?
Oil: Cuticle oil is surprisingly effective! You want a jojoba-based oil, or even straight jojoba if you don't mind the texture. There's actually a lot to go into here and it's too much for a quick list.
Keep nails painted: Water is the enemy of nails. Polish keeps water out. It also protects nails from damage, and the thickness adds support. That's really the only effect that strengtheners have.
Jewels, not tools: I hate calling nails jewels but the approach is right. Quit opening things with your nails. Go to Amazon or the hardware store and pick up a pack of mini scrapers. Use them.
