They had never thought about them like that haha. Logan pretty much periodically told the whole squad except Tyler 💀 so they were all like very subtly encouraging him. Taylor was VERY excited. Aiden would be SO obvious about it but luckily Tyler is kind of oblivious. Ash and Ben are just watching the whole thing go down.

For Tyler absolutely acts of service. It's what he's used to haha. Likes to cook for Logan and help him around the shop (while James and Mary are watching him like a hawk) :) Receiving, tbh, he just likes when Logan wants to spend quality time with him.

Logan...also acts of service; for a long time he valued himself on how useful he was to somebody and its still how he evaluates his relationships. He helps Tyler with homework he doesn't understand, helps him with chores around the house, etc. He really appreciates words of affirmation, makes him feel more secure ^_^

Tyler: Something chill, he's like, consistently tired lmao. He just likes spending time with him, he doesn't mind if they're just laying down studying or listening to music, or just talking to each other.

Tyler: probably something real cringy considering that carrot-top nickname he gave Ash. I mentioned Starboy and Cielo before. I think he'd call him "Bizcochito" (porque le quiere comer a besos jajajajaj)

DOMESTIC LIFE

1. If they get married, who proposes?

Since gay marriage was legalized in June 2015, for most of his life Logan pretty much never thought he would be able to get married. So he proposed to Tyler. Was crying profusely the whole time and dropped his cards haha.

2. What's the wedding like?

They couldn't find a church that would bless their marriage even tho Mary and James had asked for it. So they just got married at city hall. BUT they did have a super big after party with all of Tyler's extended family >:) Logan has no idea what "gringo" means but he's not thinking about it too much.

3. How many kids do they have, if any?

It was really fucking hard to adopt one :") one girl because I said so and this is my list

4. Do they have any pets?

They have a few cats because for a long time they couldn't adopt any kids. It's good for Logan's enrichment, even though the cats don't really like Tyler lol

Tyler loses his temper easier, but he's also way more likely to indulge their daughter so like, he is stricter, but he's not very consistent about it lmao. Logan is better at disciplining Tho.

Idk if this means anything to you but I'm a comic artist who's had a hard time doing art for a few years. The first four was because of life hardship and lack of time/chronic pain, but now lately I've had time but a mental block. I'm creeping up on 30 and felt bad about myself for "missing out" on my opportunity to be a comic artist. It was really validating to see you post about being 41 (correct me if I'm wrong) especially since you have such wonderful comics that I've been following for a while now. It makes me feel less like I'm wasting my time putting my things in order when I "should" be drawing.

I am 41 years old. I have wanted to make comics my entire life. before my dad got sick, and my childhood kinda fell apart, all i did was draw. after that, i used the stories in my head to cope. life moved on. i was convinced not to accept a partial scholarship to an art school in California. life got hard. i worked at a hotel, and after i escaped an abusive relationship at 22 i hitchhiked/bused far far away to start over. i tried to make comics again, but i had to survive, and so i got another job doing the only thing i knew how to do, hotels. and i worked. and worked. and life got harder and times got heavier and i didn't get time to draw and i worked double hours, 15 to 17 hours a day. and i went four years without drawing a single thing.

i kept working myself into the ground. i was 29 now. i picked up a pen again and drew a red haired boy. he had a hard life and no love and no friends. his problems were on the outside, for everyone to see. he ran away but his problems went with him.

i was 32. surely i was too old now. my time to be an artist was gone. i had no school. no hope. i was so far behind the younger gen i saw online. i cried. all the time. i wrote stories in my email drafts while i worked shifts. i stayed up late trying to learn how to draw again. i cried some more. the boy grew. i called him Fiach. worthy. a raven. later i renamed him Avery. he was like a bird, he had wings, he was my hope. i started writing some friends for him. the people i wished i had around me.

i started finding time and space. i got a new job, something where i was lucky enough to set my own hours. for the first time i had a partner who believed in me. things were hard. but i was drawing now. and that helped.

i went on a road trip and i started drawing pages of an unnamed story on 6 by 8 paper in a sketchbook. i drew 20 of them. 'what could i call this?' i thought. Nothing Seems as Dark...no says my partner. Seemingly Dark. he made me a logo. i was 35. i bought an ipad, i cant do this on paper, its too much story i have too much to say. so i learned how to draw digitally by tracing my own trad art pages.

I spoke to my dad for the last time on June 17th, fathers day that year. he said 'you're good. i'm proud. and you're gonna do amazing things. none of this is your fault. and we will speak again soon.' i didn't know id never hear his voice again. he died a week later.

i turned 36. i kept trying. i'm old, i don't understand the internet. how can i share this?

i stumbled across Lore Olympus. i was introduced to webcomics. id read comics online before but the thought never occurred to me. i opened an account on Tapas. and then i stared at it. what if no one likes it. what if its bad. my art isn't good. i should wait til i'm better. but will i ever really be better? or will i always believe that tomorrow is better? do it now. if even one person gets something out of this story, this story about a boy who is you, a boy who looking for hope, a boy who might make it, then that is enough isn't it.

June 17th 2018 i launched Seemingly Dark.

SD's five year anniversary is in a week. 0ver 700 pages. leaps and bounds in progress with my skills. a printed comic under my belt as of monday. i was always a storyteller. but i was always an artist too.

I am 41 years old, dear anon. I did not truly embark on this journey til i was 35. life got in the way. even now, chronic illness gets in the way. but its worth it. its never ever too late. i believe in you the way my dad believed in me. i reset my life again and again. but I was always an artist. and if thats who you are, and who you want to be, even if things dont go the way you wished they could, you're an artist too.

im 41 years old. i speak about my age, even though i often feel too old to belong in spaces, cuz really, in this case age is just a number. take care of yourself. do what you need to do. and little by little, when your able, carve out your space until it becomes more of a habit. sometimes i think about all the years i lost not drawing or creating. but there's a lot of factors that make me believe had i made my story then, it wouldn't be the story it is now, i needed to live a bit. i needed to find myself. i know this was long, but i just wanted you to see i also had to put my life in order, and getting notes like this reminds me it wasnt at all a waste. im glad i could offer you some comfort. thats honestly the best compliment i could ever receive.

TL;dR I was 35 when i sat down and seriously started making comics, because life always got in the way and so did my confidence. i always feared being too old. im 41 now, still going strong.

How is Omega 16 in s3? The math doesn't check out. TBB s3 likely takes place 18 BBY a year after Order 66 in 19 BBY. The Phantom Menace, when Boba Fett and the first gen clones were created was in 32 BBY. In order for her to be 16 years old, she'd have to be OLDER than Boba by 2-3 years! BEFORE Jango was even hired by Dooku to be the clone template! Omega AT MOST can only be 14 in s3. She doesn't even look or act close to mid-teens, more like 11-12.

Okay just to preface this, your comment does make a lot of sense, I 100% see your point and I think it’s highly likely that the creators didn’t think about the timeline all too much with Omegas age.

Whether or not Omega’s 16 by season 3 which I said in my recent post is debatable, however she’s definitely 14 in Aftermath and I’m a firm believer that each season takes place over the span of several months with several months in between seasons. I’ll delve into that later.

We know that Omega is older than the Batch. She remembers feeling lonely for an extended period of time and she remembers when they were created. Omega therefore had to be around 3 years older than them.

Rex is 10 at the beginning of the war, which means Tbb, being young than he is, were likely 8 at the beginning of the war, sat out for the first year, then when they turned 9(18) they joined in during the second year of the war.

Therefore, in aftermath The bad batch has to be 11, and Omega has to be 14.

(Going back to what I first said about how they didn’t think about the timeline, this now makes her older than rex, which isn’t likely, but could maybe be possible?)

Season 2 takes place at the end of 19 BBY and continues into 18BBY. We’re not exactly sure when in either but my guess is that Spoils/Ruins of war is 19BBY and by faster which is at least 2 months later is 18BBY and she’s now 15 for the rest of the season.

So I’d guess season 2 ends maybe roughly around the middle of 18bby, and we see in Omegas cell that season three post time jump is a little short of 6 months on Tantiss so in season 3 she’s approximately 16, at the very least about to turn 16.

And I know that she might not turn 16 right at the beginning of the year but I highly doubt the clones even know their birthdays so they likely all just refer to new year’s day as their birthday.

So, she might not be 16 by season 3 but it is heavily implied by both Techs broken leg and Omega stating that Echos been gone for a while, that each season takes place over several months, so I think it is highly likely.

Legends Z-A Thoughts and Theories!

Okay, I was pretty quiet on my opinions for Scarlet and Violet, but I'm confident enough to be very pleased and optimistic for this! Legends Arceus was the strongest Pokemon game we had in a decade, and to see them continue this, bring back Megas, and take an extra year to hopefully make it non-buggy? Makes me so so excited!

On Megas:

It's a bit of a surprise to see Megas back, but honestly? Not too much of a surprise. Even ignoring the inevitability of Kalos remakes, Megas are the only gimmick Pokemon kept around in their spinoffs. It was in Mystery Dungeon, Shuffle, Smash Bros, Pokemon Go, and probably more I'm forgetting! So it was always in the back of Gamefreak's mind and I'm glad it's truly back again!

With Gens 8 and 9 bringing back cross-gen evos, I think they'll focus on only giving Megas to three-stage lines, to not quash the potential of 2nd stage Pokemon getting regular evolutions. So starters and Pokemon like Flygon can get Megas since they can't evolve further, but Pokemon like Tropius and Chimecho probably won't, in case they get evolutions in Gen 10 (That then get Megas)

I also don't think we fully grasp how many more Pokemon can get Megas now, too. Barely any of Gen 5 and 6 had Megas (Seriously only 2 Pokemon between the 228 Pokemon in those gens) and we've had THREE more generations since then!!

Note: We went from wanting a Dunsparce evo, to wanting a Dunsparce Mega, to getting Dudunsparce with mixed fan reception. Now I'm going to be a selfish deluded clown bitch and get my hopes up for a Mega Dudunsparce.

Speaking of starters and Megas, do we think we'll get a mish-mash of older starters for this game that then get Megas (Say, Piplup, Snivy, and Scorbunny) or will we get Megas for the three Kalos starters?

Megas may mean Mega Stones return as held items, and held items weren't in Legends Arceus- new gameplay advancement?

Legends Arceus gave us 7 new Pokemon (most of them cross-gen evos) and a dozen new regional forms. Do you think we'll still get regionals this game, or will the design team be focused more on making new Megas instead?

On the world:

It's been confirmed the whole game is only in Lumiose City- how big is the map?? Hopefully we really do get lots of sidequests, biomes for wild Pokemon, and traversal options.

When is this? We're redeveloping Lumiose City, but are we in the past developing it into its current state, or are we in the present/future developing it into a new solarpunk city? Or neither, and this is a "Paradox" game set in a timeline which doesn't quite match ours?

This doesn't have to be an isekai (as in, we don't have to be time travellers again per se), just keep that in mind!

The "Z" in the logo represents Zygarde, with the black color and green hexagons. So who's the "A"? It's green with green scale/leaf patterns on it. What does it represent? The "Chaos" to Zygarde's "Order"? Is it a 5th Zygarde form or is it a whole new Pokemon?

Meta thoughts:

This further confirms my theory that Gen 9 will last until 2026, where they announce Gen 10 on that year's Pokemon Day for their 30th anniversary, and that's great! I'm glad they aren't overworking themselves too much compared to Gens 6-8.

On them "skipping" Unova remakes: I don't see this as skipping. We've been long overdue for a Z version since Kalos is literally the only Pokemon region to only appear in one release (no third version, no remakes, no sequels, no ultras, no DLC). So we're simply making up for the "deficit" of a third version here, and we can go back to focusing on Unova remakes for Gen 10.

Do you think we'll get any final updates to SV to tide us over until the next LegendZ trailer around August? Maybe a small DLC, mythical reveal, or free update?

Pokemon Adventures skipped the last Legends game, so they'll probably skip this one too? I'm fine either way- at least by skipping it, they won't be too rushed and stressed, and they'll actually have the time to flesh out SV and catch up with ORAS/SM/USUM/SwSh in the full volumes.

But on the off chance they do adapt Legends Z-A, do you think we'll get dexholders named Z and A??

Note for the future- the Yoasobi Pokemon song BiriBiri has a part where they namedrop all the game titles- one part has the lyrics "ABC to the XYZ". Long shot, but if Legends Z-A does indeed have an ABC theming, this could be a crazy bit of either coincidental or intentional foreshadowing!

The series is finished! Thank you for everyone that read it and stuck with me through the 20 parts, I know it was a lot and ended up being much longer than I anticipated for my first fic. The trio were thriving in Chicago. It had been roughly a month since they had all three moved into a two-bedroom apartment a few blocks from the coffee shop and a little longer than that since they’d all moved away from Hawkins. All three of them were having the time of their lives. 

Steve had been picking up extra hours at the coffee shop with Betty to try and make some extra money. He loved working as a barista and being challenged to make the most asinine of orders. What he loved even more is when he looked up on boring weekday shifts to see Eddie and Robin pouring over their notebooks. Steve could watch them scribble song lyrics and math equations, respectively, all day. And whenever Eddie looked up to meet his eyes with a beaming smile on his face? That was nice too. 

Eddie had accepted a full time job at the record store that they had passed their first day in the city. He could finally work a job he enjoyed without threat of violence from high school jocks or cruel words from middle-aged churchgoers. He’d also joined the band that the cashier, now known as Justin, had invited him to. They sounded way better than the high school Corroded Coffin did and with Eddie’s guitar skills? The new and improved Corroded Coffin was getting more than five drunks whenever they played in the bars. Steve was there at every ‘concert’ and cheered the band, especially Eddie, on after every song. What Eddie especially looked forward to on those nights though wasn’t the full crowd. Oh no, he looked forward to the possessive kisses that Steve would give him once they were away from prying eyes. 

Robin loved Chicago. She had started taking Gen Ed classes at UIC for the fall semester and working at an LGBT+ bookstore on the weekends. While she was currently single after breaking up with Vickie, she was happy. They parted on good terms and they both agreed that long distance at their age wasn’t the answer. Robin spent most of her free time working at the bookstore or making friends at school. However, she also devoted a healthy amount of time to third wheeling Steve and Eddie. It was easy really. Especially since everyone turned into a third wheel around them, whether they knew it or not. Anytime anyone sees them, they’re hanging off of one another, giving each other heart eyes, and being disgustingly lovey-dovey in general.

By far the best part of moving in together in the city for Steve was waking up to Eddie in the morning on their days off. They would lie in bed for hours just talking or kissing or talking and kissing. Today, they were talking about their future in Chicago. 

Steve was watching the sunlight from the windows hit Eddie’s contours and accentuate his messy bedhead. “Are you happy here?”

Eddie closed his eyes and yawned before giving Steve the biggest smile his tired face could muster. “Stevie, baby, I’ve never been happier. I didn’t even know I could be this happy!”

His eyes danced across Steve’s face before his smile widened upon spotting the hickey he had left the night before. “What about you?”

Steve hummed as he thought about his answer. He was still having trouble putting his happiness into words. He felt like he was living within a dream, one that he never wanted to wake up from. He looked back to Eddie, his glorious boyfriend. The man that had shown him what it was like to be cared for by someone and the one who had picked up the broken pieces everyone else had left behind. “I’m the happiest I’ve ever been. And I wouldn’t be if it weren’t for you. You make me really fucking happy, Eds. Even if you did eat the last of my Rocky Road cereal last night.”

Eddie’s smile turned into an overexaggerated pout as he fell backwards from his place hovering over Steve’s face onto the pillow. “I said I was sorry! I’ll pick up some more on my way home from work tomorrow. I can’t believe you ended your love confession with that, Jesus fucking Christ.”

Steve laughed and dragged Eddie back over to him, letting his frizzy curls curtain both of them. “I really love you Eddie.”

Eddie pressed a soft kiss to the tip of his nose and whispered, “I really love you too Steve.”

They kissed each other for a couple of minutes before Steve pulled away and nervously licked his bottom lip before speaking, “hey Eds, I’ve been thinking about something.”

Eddie gently shook his head, “I’m flattered, Stevie, but gay marriage isn’t legal yet so-”

“What?”

Eddie’s eyebrows furrowed, “oh, was that not what you were… oh. My bad, carry on.”

Steve shook his head, he’d poke that bear later. He cleared his throat before continuing, “I’ve been thinking… maybe I could go back to school? I know Robin is really enjoying it and if I just went on a part-time basis then I could still afford it. And I know I want to get a degree eventually so maybe I could take some classes and decide what I want. What do you think?”

“I think that’s a great idea! We’ll figure out the money later. If you think going to school and getting your degree will make you happy, I say go for it,” Eddie said, rubbing his hand down Steve’s arm. 

Steve nodded, “I think it would. My parents always pushed me to go into business but I think if I did something I really liked, I would have a really good time.”

“What do you want to do, then? Not thinking about anything else, what would make you happy?” Eddie asked. 

Steve bit his lip. He had an idea but he’d never shared it with anyone else. He knew though that if there was one person who wouldn’t make fun of his interests, it was Eddie. “I want to be an author. If I could, I’d write stories that kids could look up to and be inspired by.”

Eddie smiled and grabbed the back of Steve’s head, dragging him into the most gentle of kisses. “I think that’s a great idea, Stevie. Neither one of us will have some normal, nine to five job. When I’m a famous rockstar and you’re a big, hotshot author on the New York Times Best Sellers list, we can tour together and see the world.”

Steve nodded, that was quite the dream. But it was missing something, one small aspect that wasn’t coming to mind. One thing would make their dream even more perfect. Eddie also seemed to notice and after a thoughtful hum added, “with Robin.” 

Steve’s smile stretched and with a small laugh he agreed, “oh yeah, with Robin. That’s the dream, baby.”

And with that, they kissed.

OC-TOBER WEEK 2: BACKSTORY WEEK

Continuing the @bweirdart oc-tober challenge! Find out more about each day under the cut!

Day 5: Relationships Decided to do the main 4 of Blood & Time for this one. Eveything is pretty self-explanatory on that one, but for readabilty's sake, I'll type out everything written there after all the other days have been described.

Day 6: Symbol Saint Genevya (left) + Moon, vs Genevya Calliera (right) + Sun. Because of St Genevya being her namesake, and the two of them looking eerily similar, Genevya often gets compared to the Saint, to an uncomfortable degree. However, even if they're similar on the surface, they differ in major ways. St Genevya lived a life obscured by esoterism, wasn't often seen, and cultivated mystery around herself. Genevya lives her life hiding in plain sight, parading herself around, and despite her warmth, she is difficult to be around for too long. Something something the quiet, soft light of the moon vs the burning and blinding light of the sun. Day 7: Personality Decided to focus a bit more on Genevya and her twin brother Émile, who are just the worst little gossips on Earth. Mediterrannean grandmother type of gossip. When they're apart, they're not this awful, but together they are insufferable. Day 8: Past Since I was already on a Blood & Time kick, and did a lot of Gen, I decided I might as well focus on her for the last couple days. Originally no one knew about her deal with Genesis, but Émile has a more important role in the story now. So he helps Genevya find Genesis. From that point on, Genevya and Genesis become bffs. Sometimes besties can be a teenage girl and the thousands year old demon she hosts. Day 9: Future Peace and love on planet Richard and Gen... It's so important to me that these two are happy and together after everything they go through. Their relationship is one of my favorite aspects of this story, even while B&T isn't a romance. It's just a little cherry on top. Main 4 relationship chart: Genevya + Maggie = Besties Gen: From the start, she's just a bit desperate to make a friend her age. Maggie: Starts out feeling competitive, ends up just being very worried about her. Maggie + Alexis = Besties Maggie: Can tell Alexis just needs someone to be NICE to him for once. Alexis: First woman Alexis bonds with completely platonically. He thinks she's the coolest person in the whole world. Alexis + Richard = Mentor/Mentee Alexis: Can't stand how serious Richard is about everything, resents him for believing in him, but yearns for his approval. Richard: Dislikes how Alexis never puts any effort into anything, but sees his potential; doesn't give up on him. Richard + Genevya = Rivals to lovers Richard: Gives Gen a job to keep an eye on her at first. First to develop feelings, last to realize it. Genevya: Starts working with him out of self-interest, finds that he's actually not that bad. :-) Richard + Maggie = Mentor/Mentee Richard: Finds Maggie incredibly talented, wishes she was doing something she actually enjoys. Maggie: Really admires and looks up to Richard, but struggles to read him. Genevya + Alexis = Genevya: Her relationship with Alexis starts out as one of convenience, but she ends up genuinely enjoying spending time with him. Alexis: Originally only talked to Genevya because she was popular and he found her pretty, feels guilty about it once he gets to know her better.

Relationship: Dew/Aether/Copia

Summary: While on tour, Copia gets a cold and is told to be on vocal rest.

Word count: 398

Rating: Gen

Dew hangs the home-made sign around Copia’s neck. The anti-pope opens his mouth to protest but the fire ghoul glares at him and points at the text on the cardboard. “No. You are on vocal rest.”

“I can’t believe I’m saying this but listen to the gremlin. No talking if you want to perform tomorrow,” Aether looks over from where he’s chopping fresh ginger, adding it to a travel mug. “You sounded like a crow yesterday and you need to save your voice.”

Copia signals with his hands in a way the ghouls have assumed means he’s annoyed. Aether could clearly imagine the rant in Italian that accompanied the hand gestures, but Copia did as he was told and did not use his vocal cords. “You’re lucky we can’t get colds, or you’d be all alone and miserable. How much honey do you want?”

Copia puts his palms together and separates them, mouthing “a lot”.

Dew drags Copia towards the bed and the nest of pillows and blankets he had put together. The TV is already on showing the paused opening screen of a horror movie Dew had picked out. Any other free night, they would have been out on town at a restaurant of Copia’s choosing but the ghouls had intervened when it became obvious Copia was not doing well.

“Aether, come on, I want to start the movie,” Dew hurries his mate as Copia awkwardly scoots close and drapes a blanket over them.

“I’m coming,�� Aether says, immediately regretting his words as identical gleeful stares are aimed at him. “Nope, no. Don’t you say it. Copia, you can't say a word. Dew, just no.”

“Hey, I didn’t actually say anything!” Dew insists. Aether offers him the travel mug, now filled with ginger, honey, lemon and cold water. Dew does not need to be told what to do, having performed this parlor trick several times. He blows on the top of the mug, warming the water so it’s hot but not boiling and hands it over to Copia. “Here, it’s good for you.”

Copia nods and mouths “grazie” to the ghouls who are now sitting on both sides of him. Aether's arm is slung behind Copia. Dew's tail rests around Copia's waist, firmly in place a to not tickle the already suffering man.

Aether grabs the remote and presses play. “Now. Everyone shut up. It’s movie time.”

Get to know you - Sims Style

Thank you to @rstarsims3 for the tag! 😊 What’s your favorite Sims death? None, I never let my sims die anymore because I get too attached to them 😂

Alpha CC or Maxis Match? I prefer Maxis Match, but I don't mind throwing in a bit of Alpha here and there.

Do you cheat your sims weight? I've only ever made one of my female sims less buff, but she proceeded to get very buff again so I just left her.

Do you move objects? Yes, but mainly just decorations and things like that.

Favorite Mod? I don't really play as much anymore, so it's hard for me to tell but I definitely cannot live without NRaas Mods and LD's Smooth Patch that's for sure.

First Expansion/Game Pack/Stuff Pack? Probably the first EP that I actually wanted was either Generations or Pets, because my mom already had other ones that I wasn't interested in enough to remember (definitely Late Night though, I do remember one time randomly turning one of my mom's families all into vampires when I was like 7 or 8 😂).

Do you pronounce live mode like aLIVE or LIVing? aLIVE.

Who’s your favorite sim that you’ve made? My most favorite would be Mari Martinez, who was a gen 3 sim from my old legacy save from a couple years ago that I happened to really like. She went through a few changes though 👀 Left is how she is now and the right is her from the legacy save. The one on the bottom is her and her husband Enzo 🥰

I do love this family right above as well though, I used to play them a lot before and occasionally now 😄 Have you made a simself? I have, my profile pic is actually supposed to be me and my dalmatian dog Disney (who's passed on now). It doesn't really look like me at all though because my sim making skills are pretty bad and even the hair color is too light but you get the general look 😅 Which is your favorite EA hair color? I've always preferred brown hair, but I like any hair color.

Favorite EA hair? I like a lot of hairs, I don't know which one to choose from.

Favorite life stage? Young adult and toddler stage 😄

Are you a builder or are you in it for the gameplay? I'm actually more in it for the creation of mods hehe, but I do like to just sit and play sometimes, especially in TS2, and I do love building houses but mostly in TS2 as well because it does get a bit frustrating with TS3 and how laggy it can get with the create-a-style tool.

Are you a CC creator? I've made a few things here and there, so I guess so!

Do you have any Simblr friends or a Sim Squad? I have a couple friends, there's definitely a lot of lovely people here as well and if anyone wants to be my friend I'm open to it 😊 Do you have any sims merch? Sadly, no 😔

Do you have a YouTube for sims? I did once upon a time, it was mostly just me sharing my process of creating animations but I kind of just left it. How has your “Sims style” changed throughout your years of playing? When I first started playing probably over a decade ago I just used to create couples and make them have like 5 kids, then kick the kids out when they reached adults then make the couple have more kids and the cycle pretty much never ended 😂 Then I started to play more legacies and tried challenges, but as always I got too attached to my sims and I couldn't continue them. Then I got into making mods and so here I am, I don't really actually play much anymore. Who’s your favorite CC creator? I love most of the stuff from @xiasimla, @sim-songs, @johziii, @nectar-cellar and a few others.

How long have you had Simblr? I think 2 years now? I just used to lurk around and download CC at first but then I decided I wanted to post my things here too 😄

How do you edit your pictures? Sometimes I don't edit them, but if I do I use Photoshop to enhance the vibrance and add in a bit of depth of field. Though I've finally gotten reshade to work now so I probably won't edit them anymore.

What expansion/ gamepack is your favorite? My favorites are Generations, Pets, Seasons, Island Paradise and Master Suite Stuff. I'm sure most people have already done this but if you haven't then I'll tag you! 😄

the posts about the plinth family being so immigrant-coded and the districts speaking English as a second language had me thinking about sejarcus reunion. Like imagine sejanus trying so hard to connect with Marcus by speaking d2's native language, but sejanus is rusty because he left when he was 8 and didn't have much practice speaking the language in the capitol. I imagine strabo would try to ban the language in the home after moving to the capitol to force the family to assimilate. and so sejanus can really only speak the language with Ma when strabo isn't around to yell at him for it. And when sejanus speaks to Marcus in d2's language, he's trying to be like, look even though I moved to the capitol, I'm still district at heart! I'll never be capitol and I hate what the capitol is doing! But since it's been so long since he's spoken the language, he's shaky and it comes off more as him forgetting his culture, his roots, his language, and assimilating into the society of the oppressor. just something about sejanus basically being a 1.5 generation immigrant who will never fit into the new country/place nor the old country/district </3 and how people from the native country sometimes look down on the second gen or 1.5 gen for not being fluent in the native language of the country and see them as "not really *insert ethnicity*" because they can't hold a convo about the political and economic state of the world in the native lang. ok I don't think Marcus would be snobby about rusty language skills, but its like a further sign that sejanus isn't really district anymore no matter how hard he tries to present himself as such </3

the idea of sejanus going to the zoo that first day, and trying to speak to marcus (even tho coriolanus is giving sejanus side eye stare bc sejanus is basically shouting in whatever the hell he's speaking), but the flow of his speech is not the same, and he ends up switching some verbs, and it sounds a tad bit broken. and now marcus refused to even LOOK at him and sejanus feels horrible because he thinks of how ridiculous it probably was.

a boy from the academy, wearing that red uniform, surrounded by capitol people at the capitol, trying to speak to a district boy in broken district language. it sounds almost like mockery. it sounds like a capitol boy trying to pass as district.

(I don't think marcus would be snobby, but he would definitely be pissed off 😭)

then he comes back home, and begs his ma to help him practice, because he needs to speak with marcus, but he knows he doesn't sound as natural as when he was a child. and his ma helps him practice, and he actually gets less rusty, but it still isn't the same, he still sounds more like a capitol boy trying to pass as district than an actual district kid (the irony that in the capitol, he has a district accent, but speaking the districts' language, he has a capitol accent). and marcus still. doesn't. talk. to him. he refuses to do it, and all sejanus can think is that his language skills got so bad to the point maybe marcus can't even understand him anymore.

also, this weighs a lot on the whole thing regarding not being able to fit in one place or another. other mentors would probably be annoyed or jealous that sejanus can actually communicate with his tribute properly. why are they all struggling while sejanus is there speaking effortlessly? but at the same time, for someone from the districts who grew up speaking that language, it's clearly not 100%, it's slow-ish and it doesn't sound completely natural.

I'm assuming Jack thought of Renny as like a one time thing. Like after the overblot crisis, he wouldn't have a need to talk to her again but OH BOY WAS HE WRONG.

Renny was intimidated by Jack's height ofc. She thought he would be a musclehead and would have no interest in her anyways.

Renny did! I mean anyone would when a previously-thought-of-delinquent begins to show kindness and bashfulness! Renny thought his morals and attitude towards situations were very respectable. Also the fact that Jack showed obvious care towards her, whether it was romantic or not.

The first kiss was not lip to lip! It was lip to head iniatiated accidentally by Renny. Okok look- Jack has dog ears! Renny, by habit, kisses her own dog's head! It was a mix up and Renny, before she could even think, kissed Jack on the head. Now these two are both a blushing mess! Jack can't say anything and Renny apologizing over and over!

8. Who gets jealous easier?

Most likely Jack considering it's an only boys school. Renny tends to get a lot of flirters so Jack plays the jealousy AND protective role a lot. Picture menacing shadow hanging behind Renny as she talks to you- Jack isn't huge on PDA and neither is Renny, but Jack doesn't mind shooting a death glare as he throws an arm around her.

More synchronocities... it seems the common symbol showing up from their direction is now wolves. On April 19, 2024 I randomly took a spirit animal test. Weirdly enough, I answered almost every question with the water or tropical answers yet got wolf, even when I took the quiz a second time changing some answers that same day, and took it again today to see if it would change and nope. I insist my spirit animal is either the orca or the dolphin, I have plenty of decor and a couple blankets in my house showing I'm big on both ha ha. Anyways... The Taylor Swift song I've talked about both here 4 days ago April 24, 2024 in the morning and here later on that day (both of which separately pertain to Jensen and Jared respectively) is "The Prophecy" which happens to have been released on April 19, 2024. On April 23, 2024 some time around 9PMish EST, Charlie had this in his story with the caption "enjoy the moon". Of course, we can't forget that the solar Eclipse that passed through a lot of the USA took place on April 8, 2024. I was not aware of this when I had made a couple posts that included the lyrics for Taylor Swift's new song "The Prophecy" from her latest album The Tortured Poets Department, which she released around 2AM or so also on April 19, 2024 (same day I took this spirit animal test).

Someone sent me a couple interesting posts also pertaining to wolves, separately with Gen and Danneel in each of them funnily enough on April 26, 2024. This one with Danneel and Jensen being compared to a couple of wolves in this post was made that same day.

This Instagram post regarding Gen and reporter Stacy Keibler releasing a report for People Magazine titled "Stacy Keibler and Genevieve Padalecki Share What They Hope to Teach Their Daughters When They’re Older" (full People Magazine article was posted online here). Interestingly enough, I'm looking at the inspect page info using Chrome and see it was published initially April 25, 2024 at 14:49:06.931 and modified last at 15:48:23.811 per the Inspect Page data obtained from my Chrome browser as of today 7:50:11PM EST when I checked my desktop clock (what is going on here with me and 11s and time today?!)

Today April 29, 2024 Charlie also included the wolf icon in his latest Instagram post and compared himself to a wolf. The caption states: "Still learning to be part of pack. Letting go of being a solitary creature. Grateful for the men in my life who let me be and see who I can be. 🐺" A little crazy story, I finished filling up my car and also my gas container for my lawn mower a bit ago around 18:18:40 according to my receipt (6:18:40pm EST), about 21 min before Charlie made this post around 6:39:11pm EST according to the site I went to (cropped, copied and pasted only some tidbits from the website for relevancy sakes here). The number of gallons I paid for? 15.911.

I posted here a couple days ago April 27, 2024 around 5:43pm EST regarding Jensen Ackles and how in the past I speculated 11 is a bad luck number for him and included talking about his post regarding both SPN and The Boys wrapping up filming on 9/10 exactly a year apart but suggested 12 may be a good luck number for him. I noted how the day after 9/10 is 9/11. I also could not help but notice looking back on my posts how the link for this post about Jensen being in LA posted on March 19, 2024 and therefore was notably not with Danneel for her birthday on March 18 contains the number 911. I also talked here, here about how the number 11 shows up in a lot of places regarding Gen and Jared and others on my blog as well.

On a very interesting note, on Feb 19, 2024 it was announced on the Entertainment Events Facebook page that Jared and Gen are no longer attending Infinity Con which happens to take place on... May 11 and May 12, which is Mother's Day. Funnily enough, it's also the same day the Tracker episode Jensen will be guest starring on airs per the announcement made on April 26, 2024, which was 3 days ago. Also as an added bonus with the numbers 3 and 4 showing up here a lot, I noticed on April 3, 2024 Jared posted 3 Walker promo videos prior to Walker Season 4 airing that same day per his official Instagram page [X] [X] [X]. Oh and can't forget, this video post of his has the title "Walker Season 4 in 3 Words" on the thumbnail. The song lyrics for "Evergreen" by Richy Mitch & The Coal Miners in this video are:

Kenjiro Takayanagi of Shizuoka University is considered one of the main pioneers of television, succeeding in displaying the character イ (i) on his Braun tube display in Dec 1926. Over the next few years, he improved the image allowing more detailed images such as human faces.

By 1939, Japan's first television station began broadcasting from NHK (Japan Broadcasting Corporation). After the war, Takayanagi Sensei's work was used as a foundation for other televisions and related industries around the world.

SAL 9000 is a reference to HAL 9000, the AI antagonist from Space Odyssey. It stands for "Heuristically programmed ALgorithmic computer", so in this case it might be "Senku programmed" or even "Sai programmed"!

The "NES" (actually the Famicom again, both in the drawing and Sai's comment in the Japanese version) and SAL 9000 don't have the exact same specifications:

SAL 9000 is specialized for math operations and thus has a longer word length (16 bits vs 8) which allows more significant figures in the numbers. They've also got more RAM (SAL has 16 kB while the NES has 2).

The downside is that because they used parametrons, their clock speed (how fast they can do calculations) is slower than if they'd used transistors.

The large amount of ROM they've also got could imply that they have several built-in programs. Xeno's work, perhaps?

CRT screens only reach a maximum diagonal length of around 40 inches (~101 cm), as a larger screen needs a larger tube, and the thickness of the glass increases with size to handle the vacuum without shattering making it very unwieldy with the added weight and thus not worth manufacturing for sale.

Senku's here is obviously much, much bigger. Possibly even world record; the biggest CRT screens made were 61 inches (~152 cm) on the diagonal.

SAL 9000 has both air and water cooling, probably used depending on what's better for individual parts. Normally you only need one or the other.

It'd be good if they could get the carbonated water maker in there and ferment some alcohol faster too using the computer's heat…

SAL 9000 also has 3 phase power like modern power transmission. They're AC power sources, phase shifted by 120° so that at any point in time, their sum is 0. The advantage to this is that you don't need return lines for the current, so you can use half as many cables.

The games shown are inspired by Tetris (featuring Ishigami Village and Roppongi!), Pacman, a combination game of Gyruss and Tempest, then another combination game of Galaga and Asteroids.

Final fest idea future-present-past

I know that a lot of people have said this already but this is what I think they will do/ what I would do.

Future/Present/Past

I know that it sounds backwards but Shiver is def more future and I would switch Frye and Big man but future/past/present sounds worse but that would be the ideal team for me.

Future- 1. next gen, like if the current idols were to have kids, it would be them, or at the very least kids their age. We could see adult donny and shelly, Harmony could be older, this is self indulgent but I would be down for a pearlina child (besides 8). I dont know what the story would be, maybe something to do with the zapfish again but someone new, it could be more about the metro, but idk how that would work exactly. It could also be virtual… idk. 2. Far into the future. Squid sisters, off the hook, deep cut, they are all legendary, but many many many idols have taken their role since then. Captain 3 is nearing the cuttlefish's age. Its a completely new cast with only mentions of long times ago when these idols were in their prime/alive. This woul dbe great for a new species, as octos have been basically fully integrated and not a new group is the minority(the cycle continues and such).

Present- 1. More of what we have. We see all the idols again, maybe not as big but they are all existing, doing something in the world. We would probably see the zapfish get taken again, similar formula but basically what theyve been doing, maybe we get 4 idols, new species maybe? Idk but you get the idea. 2. Same time period, different part of the world. We could have oth world tour mentioned, maybe instead of squids and octos, this city is a whole different species, like we could get sharks or vampire squids, probably in addition to the pre existing squids and octos though. But this would be a great opportunity for more species to be added without having to be like “oh they escaped/ are being integrated” again. The story could be basically anything, it could be something to go with the other species history, or maybe it can play into the second place, like if future wins then it is about planning, if its past then maybe more on the history, but it takes place right around now.

Past- 1. Octarian soldier. I would say squidbeak, but there is only so much you can do with Callie and Marie, you would need to retroactively add a whole agent… yeah. I think this could be sick, we could have to fight inklings, we can have Mariana come back, een some agent 8 references. I think that the goal would either be to get out of the octarian society or like be an elite. Maybe this is where they could make choices you make change the story… but that might be a bit ambitious for splatoon. I can still hope. 2. The past past. Like og squidbeak splatoon. You are in a war with the octarians, or inklings. Maybe we get 2 story modes. Who knows. But this takes place long before the squid sisters, gramps isnt even a father yet. We could see how they got to the separation, we would have skinny jude. The hud would be kind of bornign but I would king of pokemon legends arceus, we could wven have other characters ancestors show up and stuff. 3. Like before inklings and octolings were fully humanoid. Like this is crazy unrealistic and they would be starting from scratch but it would be sick for them to be like “ok we are going back to prehistoric times, no new hair styles, no current gear, you dont even have the news, you have to read everything on scrolls.” like that would probably sink the franchise but you have to admit, it they really went through with it that takes balls
