“I suppose you must,” Nagisa says mildly. He continues reading. It was a very compelling novel he had picked up: the story is about an assassin who wants to be a novelist, but feels like he is not qualified. “Ibara, do you think one has to be ‘qualified’ to be a human?”

Aizawa ties the bandage and gives a comforting smile in return. "That's okay." He then stands and outstretches his hand for Q to take. "for now, you are home,"

Home, Q thinks, slipping their hand into Aizawa's.

Q likes that a lot.

Or, Q returns to the Aizawa Yamada household and finally gets the chance to live as a child. But as they learn Q's secrets, they realize that there may be something much darker, something they were never meant to interfere with.
