currently if you were to ask tara about slade, she'd more likely than not doge the question. it's a obvious sore spot for tara, and those who do bring it up to her: (usually other titans) do it just to get a rise out of her, & she used to take the bait: get angry and pin point things about whoever said it, to pick apart and tear down. now... now, she just ignores it. she acts like it doesn't bother her, uses the thick skin she's developed over the years since she's came back to life, despite it / him / being that still deeply bothers her. she knows most titans: new or old, wont actually come to her defense when her history with slade is acknowledge, after the (judas) contract, she was burned in the eyes of the others: now&forever. the traitor teen titan. she blames slade for alot of it.. & sometimes.. she hates herself for it: she thought she loved him after all & now she cant even stand to look at him after what he did to her... unfortunately in the eyes of the titans, they're both sociopaths / they're both monsters, despite how much tara tried to assure them she's not the same girl she was before. they still think its only a matter of time before she goes running back to slade.. but she won't. she wont ever go back to slade ever again.

I finally watched all the episodes of My Adventures with Superman that are out right now and it's fucking incredible! It reminds me of how I used to feel about Superman when I was little. I haven't liked Superman for years now because hes always portrayed as this god figure or paragon of truth, justice, and everything good in the world, and that's not interesting or relatable. But this show is so incredible because it shows him as Clark Kent AND Superman (a dichotomy that is sorely lacking in most comics in general) and it makes him seem human. I feel connected to him. I understand his motivations. I also love seeing him struggle with his origins and abilities, it really reminds me of more old-school interpretations of Superman. We absolutely need more delightful, fun, and adorable superhero shows like this because I am sick to death of grimdark gritty live action superhero shows/movies where the color scheme is somewhere between light and dark gray and the characters are running around being angsty assholes in the rain or whatever.

Slade could admit that it had been irresponsible of him to shove one of Nightwing's training batons up Grayson's ass, but at the moment it had seemed like a good idea. A good idea to test how far he could stretch the kids ass around his cock and how full he could stuff him.

I won’t get to into it, but I am living my best life despite all the doubts I had about the void. I always knew it was real but I was scared I would not be able to do it. If you’re someone who struggles with the logic behind this phenomenon I suggest reading that post, and also reading @gorgeouslypink blog. I think both Maya and pink understand and acknowledge that this stuff “isn’t natural” (in a human and logical sense) but also encourage us to both appeal to our logical mind and spiritual one as well. But I kind of do want to breakdown what I did, bc it was always annoying how some anon stories didn’t explain what they did lol.

⭐️I suggest reading one peice of Neville Goddard’s work. You don’t have to of course. You don’t even have to apply loa, but trust me it’s the shortcut to this type of stuff. I really liked at your command, and the power of imagination if you want recommendations.

⭐️read this (https://www.tumblr.com/gorgeouslypink/710749646282227712/doubts )post about doubt by pink. Don’t just read it, understand and internalize it. If you don’t and keep re-reading it until you do.

⭐️use some subliminals if you want.i know people say don’t put methods above you, but ehhh :// I just like to listen to music and it won’t hurt as long as you know you choose if they work or not with your assumption. I really like slade, solar subs kira’s domain (yes the scammer but her subs still work pretty well) and v1per, but use whoever you trust

⭐️find logical reasoning to help you come to terms with the fact it’s real. Pink talks about some on her page, and so does Maya. I used the technique I shared in the first paragraph which reminds me of a lazy sats, and combined that with my subliminal usage and after a week it worked

⭐️shifting methods are your best friend. There are so many great methods so find one that resonates with you. Also the shifting community is very open minded and not limited in any way, which is nice. They’re also starting to talk about logic and the law which is awesome. Anyways, most importantly I manifested a complete change in my life. Nothing is the same so don’t limit yourself. From the way I look, to where I live, my career, age, love life, wealth, social life, family, friends, nothing is the same. Also I was 30 but I revised my age to 25. I’m just adding this so you know it’s not only kids dabbling in this special amazing ability! I also had very hard circumstances, ranging from poverty, assault, and depression. Most people in the world struggle, no one is struggling alone. Don’t let that victim mentality stop you from living your best life.

I know I say the same thing every time, but I’m genuinely happy and proud of you! Thank you for sharing all your amazing tips and recourses, and I hope you continue to always live your best life and it only gets better!

I just finished re-reading "a fair thought," and I have so many (unfair) thoughts? Idk you write the tension so well, and hint at so much backstory angst. There are so many ways it could go wrong - like what if Ra's *did* manage to "steal" Tim and/or Damian while the wedding was consummated? The potential for hurt! The guilt and angst! (Not asking you to write it haha, just reveling in these impossible situations you tease to crank up the anxiety lol)

Ooof, that would be terrible. (I love it.) Dick breaking down because he did it, he made the hard choice, he married himself off to a foreign king and let himself be humiliated in front of all the nobility, and for nothing.

Dick not giving a shit about Gotham anymore, because what's the point if his brothers are gone. Either falling into a deep depression (because one brother's dead, his father's missing, and his other brothers have been kidnapped, and all he was was a bystander the whole time) or plotting a way into Nanda Parbat to rescue his brothers.

Fuck Gotham, fuck the Council, and fuck Slade. Dick played by the rules, and this is what he got. He's not going to play by the rules anymore.

thoughts on dick grayson as a social worker re: his day job? i fully agree w ur thots re: dick grayson cop era = flop era, but was curious what u would think about other jobs that play into/interact w flawed and fucked systems

like i said in the other post, i think the investigative reporter angle works best for an arc about the bludhaven police, but there were some other interesting suggestions in the tags (working at a cop bar is also a fun angle). primarily, it gives dick an excuse to be at crime scenes, take photos, and be really annoying. it also gives him the opportunity to scout for more information with a legitimate excuse, without the baggage of being affiliated with the organisation he’s attempting to combat.

wrt other jobs tho — i am personally not a grayson fan, but i do think dick as a character would do very well on actual long term undercover missions, whether that be corporate espionage or an organisation ljke spyral. he’s a born performer, he’s very smart, and he’s very experienced at getting people to underestimate him, so it could be a really fun detective story. think fake identity, lots of sneaking, lots of investigative work. one of my primary issues with grayson was the lack of autonomy in dick becoming an agent in the first place, and that he was just like….. himself. i had a hard time suspending my disbelief.

i’d want him to go full hog — playing a character, and having him interact with people that he has complicated relationships with while undercover, like talia or slade. let him play up that idiot angle while quietly plotting in the background. he’s a really interesting character when he actually gets to investigate! i’d say his practise is different from the other bats, because so much of it relies what he can draw out of people by playing on their trust.

in saying that, i also like dick’s history of having civilian jobs that he does cause he likes them and he likes being around people. gymnastics coach is an obvious one, but like u said i think a physical therapy angle/aged care/trauma recovery would be something he’d enjoy. i think social work would be a bit too much tbh, considering the hours and workload, but it’s still very much in the right vein. he’d be tangibly helping people without the cape baggage. it’s very him.

long black line by shipyrds quick one shot that makes me insaaaane. captures their dynamic, their ease, their lingering hurts, everything so, so well. they both can never get away from the fact that being what they are to each other has left them irrevocably changed and it is not always for the better.

through sandstorms and hazy dawns by cirth tbh, any dc work by cirth is amazing but this one is probably my fav. something about how those robin years are soooo fundamental to both of them and they both tend to look back at them with rose-tinted nostalgia and sometimes, that doesn't hold up to scrutiny.

gonna find another place, maybe one I can stand by daringyounggrayson hurt no comfort but the tail end of those robin years can be soooo heartbreaking gosh. how much they are capable of failing each other, how much goes unsaid and how much that can hurt.

I Left My Conscience On Your Front Doorstep by dustorange canon divergent au with slade wilson. this one isn't a one shot but you will lose your mind over every single scene. i think this was probably one of the first few fics that made me tear up while reading. it's so, so heartbreaking and so, so well written.

Stay a Child by ijustwanttodestroy a beautiful, short two parter with the first part focused on dick & bruce and the second part a warped mirror into damian & dick. it's very sharp and funny and the first part captures the much lighter and joyful undertone of their relationship. i re-read this one every few weeks.

When I Touch the Water by audreycritter sooooo good. shows how much dick means to bruce and how well dick can navigate bruce's emotional shortcomings. they love each other so deeply, they can never be normal about each other. it's funny and sweet and just a great, great read. leaves you warm and content that sometimes, their relationship can be so comforting.

a day before midnight by batofgoodintent (crownedcrusader) post ric-grayson. ooof, this one hurts. lots of angst, lots of things that aren't said, that cannot be said because what would be the point? dick is allowed to be angry about the time he was an amnesiac and he is allowed to grieve the time and pieces of himself that he lost. good stuff.

medio by newsical  both hurt and comfort. elle's writing makes me crazy every single time. they're both so deeply entrenched in each other's orbit because the love they have for each other is so vast and enormous. they make me insane. also, loooove how dick's initial voice is captured- the patchwork multilingualism and how fond bruce is of it. sooooo sweet.

Shoulders by glassofwater early robin years!! gosh bruce's thoughts contrasted with his inability to communicate them and how easily dick can and does understand some of it. it's such a beautiful and canon-accurate capturing of how fundamental dick is to bruce. how much those early robin years, that blinding devotion and faith they have shaped them. and bruce loves dick soooo much.
