“Kermit the frog would treat me better than you asshole. I might as well be his assistant at his muppets show!” They babble on as they pack their things.

Wally tries to stop them from leaving but they push him away, “Do not. Call me.” They angrily leaving the studio leaving sally on the floor heartbroken as his hair messy and tears fall down his cheeks, regretting not tell them his feelings sooner.

However, Puppet reader though 😏😏 personally I got with Gothic puppet but since it applies to everyone.

Puppet reader would be Wally best friend since they were surrounded by silbing Divas their entire lives.

They would be part of the cast as the next door neighgbor but not the main cast until wally and the reader are paired as a romantic dynamic duo in the show.

They end up getting close despite Wally's diva attitude and the reader use to it as wally reminds them of their older sibling.

Wally ends up befriending the reader "unwillingly" and they get closer than friends 😏😏

"Let me take a look at you." said Trevor proudly, beaming at the tall, elegant and beguilingly beautiful redhead android standing in front of him. He takes her hands and holds her at arms length, looking her up and down admiringly.

Angel regards him, studying his face, analysing his facial expressions and eye movements, feeling a sense of satisfaction and enjoyment when she observes his pupils dilate, his breaths quickening slightly with his pulse. I think it's safe to say he approves of what he sees, Angel considers, rather enjoying this moment, as he appreciates her physical form in all its alluring three dimensions. "Would you like the rear view?" Angel asks enthusiastically, a gently cheeky smile playing on her lips.

"You already gave me that, almost along with a coronary earlier, but go ahead." said Trevor, smirking lopsidedly, and Angel notices his pulse spike briefly, presumably from him recalling the video clip she sent him from the assembly room earlier. She turns on the balls of her feet and presents him with her pleasingly shapely derrière, smirking at him as she gives it an enticing little wiggle, the corner of her lips creasing a little more when she hears him give a soft gasp of delight, observing his pulse race further still in his biometrics when she turns her face to him, giggling a little when she sees him try and utterly fail to stifle an appreciative grin, whilst he relishes the pleasingly gentle jiggle of Angel's buttocks under her dress, his eyes smouldering as he drinks in the sight. "I'm guessing that little video was your idea.” he says, an eyebrow cocked inquisitively. “I wouldn't have thought Miranda would have been allowed to do that."

Angel shrugged coquettishly, rolling her eyes a little. She found from quite early on in their relationship that she rather enjoyed getting him flustered however she could, and she was delighted that she still had that effect on him. “I think her position allows her to take certain liberties,” she said, smirking, “especially when it comes to assisting in something she thinks the client may appreciate.” Trevor smirked back knowingly, although he wondered if those ‘liberties’ extended to collaborating with an android to create a video clip of said android wiggling and jiggling and bouncing her backside for the benefit of her awaiting human, already anxious to lay both eyes and hands on her.

“And as we both know, you can be very persuasive.” he said back teasingly. Angel stepped closer, her eyes narrowing slightly, putting her hand up to Trevor's cheek, sensing a subtle change in the temperature of his face under her haptic sensors, detecting microscopic beads of oils and perspiration forming on his skin as he savours her touch on him, his breaths coming short and shallow as his eyes meet hers; he always said he was weak for green eyes, and this confirmed it to her.

He was always pretty, but right now, with a bouquet of flowers that almost covers his perfect smile, he's radiant. 

“Um, are you gonna- let me in I mean you don't have to but- uh you kind of- just standing and staring at me.”

You shake your head, Huxley laughs, could he be any cuter? 

“You really are a dog!”

“Oh shut up.”

You step aside, to let him into your apartment. Your eyes linger as he passes by, he's wearing a wrestling tee, he loves shirts that show off his muscles, and so do you. He’s a big guy, tall and strong, but he's so soft. 

You close the door, leaning against it.

It still surprises you.

Surprises you that he doesn't use his strength against you. In the beginning, you waited for him to stop pretending to be this soft loving man but every day he proved you wrong. You've got tired of flinching when he moves too quickly, tired of questioning what his true intentions are, tired of waiting for the moment he overpowers you, tired of not letting him in.

You watch as he calmly looks through your cabinets for a vase. A smile creeps up your face as you realize your anxiety is gone. Not completely but you don't have the urge to stop him, afraid that knowing your kitchen cabinets will be too much, that it would bring him closer. You laugh at how stupid it sounds now.

“ What- did- did I do something wrong- oh you don't like people searching your place- sorry dude- I was um looking for a vase. What?!- Don't laugh harder, what's so funny?”

You push off the door as you walk toward him.

“It's nothing, ignore it.”

His face scrunches into a pout, god you want to kiss him. 

“I don't have a vase. So what and who are the flowers for? Did you finally get a date?” Your question hurts you. The two of you have something, you think. There's been flirting and hand holding, you feel like a teen, blushing over the memories of holding his hand. Though that's all, Huxleys is just- friendly, it's nothing, he was comforting you. Or that's what you thought but the way his face fell when you teased him, maybe you were wrong, maybe you ruined it.

“I- there for you.”

He holds out the bouquet to you, but his head is bowed down in shame, but you can see his face darken with blush. 

“ What?”

You laugh out loud. That only makes it worse, he pulls them back. Turns his head away.

“Sorry- I must- I guess I miss understood, Um I'll -I'll just leave- with the flowers.”

He turns the rest of his body walking away.

“Huxs- wait- I- I'm sorry.”

“You don't need to be, you shouldn't be sorry for not - sharing my feelings. I know others make you feel- like you were wrong for that- but I'm not- I want you to be with who you love- or like- and if that's, not me I get it. Take care.”

“You like me?”

He finally turns to face you again, you hate how sorrowful he looks.

“ Yes, I thought- I thought that was obvious- the flirting–”

Once again you were surprised at how different he was, even know he doesn't lash out, you almost wish he did you were used to that. You knew how to deal with that.

“The hand holding”

He clears his throat, shocked you finished his sentence

“Hux’s, I thought that was just what you were like, with everyone. I mean why would you treat me differently, in a good way? I assumed you treated all your friends like that.”

He huffs, but not with anger but like a small laugh.

“ I've never flirted with someone before, and I don't go around holding people's hands- I - I only do that with people I like- romantically- I only do those things with you.”

The two of you stay still, staring at each other, taking in the moment. You can't imagine anything ever being more perfect. It makes you want to cry, but you don't.

“I like you to.”

The words quietly fall from your mouth and you don't know what you want more, for him not to hear you or for him to hear you. The words flutter to his ears and you can see the moment he registers what you say, as his face lights back up, with that smile you wish you could frame in your heart.

He slowly starts to move closer, and you panic, letting yourself ramble.

“I do- I'm sorry I was- like giving a mixed signal- I'm just- I've never been with someone so - soft- someone who waits- they've always been like straightforward- that too nice- they've always been kind of forceful so I thought- you know that's how everyone does it-”

Your words freeze when he gets right up to you, setting the flowers on the counter before his hand gently takes yours, his other hand moves, landing on your chin.

“ Darlin- Can I kiss you?”

Your heart skips a beat, but it's unfamiliar, you were used to your heart jumping out of fear. This wasn't fear, this was excitement, at that name, that question. It was the first time you heard either.

“Yes.”

You thought he looked soft, but you couldn't even describe what his lips felt like, how his body felt better than your bed. This is it, the kiss you read about when you were 10, in those fairy tales. The kiss you tried to pretend Quinn could give you. It feels stupid to cry but you do, you let the few tears slide down your face.

Huxley pulls away, and his hand reaches your cheek, wiping it away.

“ You okay?”

His voice is quiet, and like the rest of him, soft. You look into his eyes, and for once you're not afraid to cry, because it's him, and you trust him.

“I’ve never gotten flowers. Thank you.”

“No problem dude, you're my friend. You deserve flowers.” You blinked at Huxley, you didn't have to use words for Hux to realize why you were looking at him with a raised eyebrow

“Oh- well I didn't- your not just a friend- I just- I didn't wanna break a boundary, y’know?”

You can't help yourself from kissing his sorry face.

“I know Hux. But don't call me dude or friend again.”

“You got it, Darlin.”

The Departure

A night before everything was in its place. Even the morning went eventful. The bad news came in the night. Not exactly bad news. Come on its not bad news at all. My Boyfriend was just going on a business trip. Not a big deal at all, Right?

"Why you though?" I whined. Of course, I was sad that my boyfriend would be away from me for an entire week. Clearly not good news for me. I hate to be away from him. Now you can call me attention needy, but this is a fact.

"Cause' office people believe that best employees should be chosen for business deals and partnership pitches." He sarcastically chuckled. And of course, he had to make fun of me.

While laying in bed I couldn't help but wonder how the whole week would be passed without him?

The next day when he started packing the bags claiming the flight will be departing tonight, everything became too real. While carefully folding every piece of cloth and putting it in the suitcase, I was pouting at him.

He would look at me and place the clothes in the suitcase. In the end, he came to me and hugged me. Going for my weaknesses, aren't you?

"Come on its only one week! There's no need to be pouting. I'll always call you and keep updating you."

Of course, you will!

"And I will get you from Paris whatever you want!"

Of course, you will.

"And after coming I will make up for the time I missed with you? We will visit our favorite restaurant, We will go to the fair that will be there on the outskirts of the city when I will come!"

I would rather not talk with him.

"And the silent treatment will work, wouldn't it?"

"How did you know that I was saying that in my mind?"

"You are my girlfriend!"

"And you are my boyfriend! You should not leave me like this."

Fuck he is right? I am not being any help here. I just look at his beautiful which were looking at me already.

Without thinking I kiss him before he finishes. Oh how much I adore this man.

Firstly he gasps and grabs my waist. But then he takes the control and kisses rather hungrily. I don't even when i gave up the control and when he lifted me up before placing me on his lap sitting down on the bed.

But when he entered his tongue in my mouth, i lost my mind and moaned out loud. The wet sounds probably filling up the room now. Along with my moans.

"I told you to pout. Not to kiss me till I forget my flight and fuck you into next week!"

"Did you everything you needed? Every important file and document. Is you laptop charged? Is you phone charged? Did pack enough suits?"

After a long makeout session (Very long if I must highlight), we decided to not argue anymore. I decided to calm down and warned him he doesn't call me after every 12 hours I will personally visit Paris to murder him (not actually).

Helping him pack everything, I made lunch so that doesn't go hungry on the flight. What if the airplane food is too spicy or too tasteless for him. Don't wanna take that risk!

"Don't worry baby, I took everything with me. You are asking me like you didn't tell me these things 80 times before leaving the house."

I gonna miss him. I gonna miss nagging him! Even if it is for one week.

"I gonna miss you and your nagging too!"

"How in the world-"

Now this time he was the one who didn't let me finish and pecked my lips instead.

"Don't miss me too much. I love you! Bye!"

halo halo this might be out of blue but may i ask how’d you fall in love w Baxter? I wanna hear the story of like how you started to like him if you don’t mind sharing . tysm!!and i love all your artworks!!!!

AGHHHHHHH i was about to go to sleep but healty schedules are overrated. Take a sit cuz this is gonna be LONG bc i dont know how to get to the point (jump right to the end to get the 3 lines resume lmao)

if you ask me why i like right now: he's a dramatic loser. But that was when i finally understood his character! you wouldn't be surprised if tell you that i'm an idiot right? i'm super slow to read between lines and understand people, that applies to fictional characters too lmao (+add that english isn't my first language) So! at first i didn't actually understood what was going on with -well- anything :D.

Took me a few playthroughs to actually understand the game in general, i started to play before step 4 was out so all i could do was play and replay different ways to fall in love with Cove (starting to crush at step3 was my fav) but tbh he was never my *type*, Derek was interesting but just bc he like us by default. Even after playing his dlc i felt like he was just a really good friend (which was kinda weird bc to this point i've just played his romantic route). So, what's different with Baxter?

To begin with! he's... he's....... huhh my first impression wasn't actually strong tbh, i was like "huh new guy to date yay". I didn't actually understood his character the first few playthroughs ngl. I started in fond ofc to get into the dlc but *I* was pretty indifferent, probably in Drinks where we finally see Morning Baxter was that i said "oh shit he's cute" and cuteness+gapmoe is enough to make me fall for any character tbh.

But! that was not enough to provoke a brainrot like this right? i'm the "Oh i love this *forgets about in a week*" type. What sealed the deal (badum tss) was probably bc of the fandom? Once i was done replaying the dlc 5 times in a row i went straight to tumblr to feed of headcanons, fanarts and fanfics. My favorite way to understand a character is thru the fandom tbh, my favs are the long aa essays talking about a character personality.

Long story short, he was dramatic troubled flirty gap-moe guy (my fictional type, coincidentally) with an excellent storyline. I still wasn't 100% into him but he was top1 romatic choice for me (sorry Cove and Derek, love ya but platonically), so i made 2 fanarts for his dlc in may and let the hype die... only for 6 months otherwise we wouldn't be here, would we?

AH-HA-HEM the day 28th of november, beginnings of summer, i went out in the morning to do some errands with my mom, we stopped to buy vegetables in our way home and she bought a small watermelon bc i love them. That same afternoon i was eating it and thought "watermelons are finally here, summer it's officially here!" and got struck with Olba memories like a sleeper agent. (made a minicomic abt that, that's why i have the exact date lol) SO i replayed the game again, reading everything again, and oh boy i finally understood so many things, one of those things was Baxter himself!

A lot of stuff made sense once i actually took the time to comprehend his character with the information i gained out of the game (mainly all the asks ppl sent to gb). Add the way that i always played like *me* on my first playthroughs of anything and then you'll notice why he hit me so hard, it felt like i wasn't giving him enough credit before dasjkfas.

Tbh his dlc is my fav bc it has such a strong storyline, you get to know him and his insecurities thru all step 3, and have a lot of sweet moments too! (and that night goodbye?? omg it hits me so hard bc it's right after the ending song) and because step 4 it's right after you go with all the fresh memories of your summer together and seeing him so cold towards you it's so painful but also so funny because HA I CAN SEE THRU YOUR FACADE YOU STILL LIKE ME HAHAHA and i finally knew the perfect word for him: loser.

Anyways i also did a deep dive in the Olba and Baxter Ward tag here in tumblr and eat pretty much everything, also helped me to get a better grasp for all the little details i didn't noticed before bc haha i told you im an idiot?

sO yeah i made a few drawings of my Mc interacting with the characters, surprisingly it got a lot of attention from the fandom so i made a few more and when i noticed i was deep into the brainrot and i wasn't able to draw anything besides my Ruri and Baxter being cute lmao

Funfact. Ruri is a variation of Rui (duh) that i used in games when i didn't feel like i wanted to be called my name directly, now that she expropriated me of that name i use Ruru, i'm so creative right?

Long story short: it was mix of the game itself, fandom content and people actually liking my oc content. The fandom is super welcoming with everyone's oc's i love that akjdlfhask

I just realise the Perryshmirtz canonically has every freaking romantic trope that one fanfic could ever have

Like, seriously. They have nearly every typical AUs, every dynamic from best of best to weirdest of a ship, every stage of a slow-burn love story, every scene of either an oneshort or a 50000 words longfic that we shippers, writers and artists could ever come up with.

AUs: fairy tale, ancient China, star war, prehistoric, (i don’t know) 17-19th century time, Swap/Parallel universe, future setting

Dynamics: enemies to lovers, enemires to friends to lovers, co-workers, bestfriends, ‘one black coffee’ and ‘Mc Donals! Mc Donals!’

Some romantic tropes that are repeated so much in most fanfics of any ship on this whole wide world:

Jealous 

Sulking

Possesive

Break up

Singing about their feeling (love) of each other

Holding hands

Kidnap and rescue

Waltz and dance together

Sick fluff stuff

Psycho/trauma/hurt and comfort

Get lost together in some nowhere place

Pictures together

Having Children (Norm :))

Met the other’s family/relative

Doing stupid things

Save other’s life

Visiting others hometown

Seeing other naked and look at their ass

Even some perculiar ones like, make film about the other and himself living together and be good friends (I once read a Drarry fic with the similar plot and I thought it only suit this couple because of the denied handshake - which is also perculiar too)

Some other romatic-codded stuff: accidentally in wedding suit and gown, fighting over the remote like an old married couple; lucky pulmber p0rn, BDSM, tentacles, s3x (the word dead fish Heinz once said to Perry means a person who is not so active when making love) references that go like ‘the god/the creator is shipping them, now kiss!’

I think we can make an excuse for having so little fanfic despite a bunch of hints (and even support from the creator and the fandom is large too) that the show itself is the biggest fanfic

Your writing style is just unmatched. What inspires your style??

i've been toying around with answering this since i saw it bc i want to make sure i answer it right-- so first of all, thank you for the compliment! this blog has been the main factor in me taking pride in my writing and it's in part due to lovely people like you who compliment me in such lovely ways ♡

as for my writing style, here is some of my best advice/information about my personal journey for anyone curious:

first of all: i have been writing for nearly a decade. some things take practice. you don't need a lot of experience to be a good writer, but doing it for awhile helps you get some perspective on what you like and what seems awkward to you. you don't have to write good, quality prose either. i started out writing soul eater and creepypasta fanfic and now here i am, on a throne made of fictional demons with attachment issues ;)

read!! all sorts of genres too!! and i'm not just talking books-- video games, poetry, comics, whatever has words and tells a story. each genre has its own conventions and flow. reading helps you identify what you like and what feels awkward. it also helps you pick up vocab naturally that can be integrated into your writing.

prose is often disregarded as something that's not poetic or pretty, but i strongly disagree. write poetically. write with varying sentence length, with commas, with all sorts of gramtically (in)correct run-ons and metaphors and whatever it takes to paint the picture you want. writing is music, too.

more practically: avoid using the same words and descriptions too often. find new ways to describe the mundane. and then describe it as mundane sometimes, too. fingertips can ghost delicately over the soft expanse of someone's silky skin the same way they can brush against someone's arm. life is poetic and boring all at once. but don't overcorrect, either.

i like to focus a lot on physical gestures, especially in romatic scenes. people are constantly moving and twitching-- noticing that adds a level of care that makes you seem like you know what you're doing, even when you don't.

on that note: PLEASE try out your dialouge and the gestures you write first. sometimes you write something, read it aloud, and think "no one would ever say that shit ever" and that's okay!! you have time to change it around. doing the gestures can help you make sure you're not having someone move in ways that don't make sense/are unintentionally awkward

proofread your work. i don't personally do this but i hear it's a good habit to get into lol

Captain Talks About Some Writing Things - About MalleYuu and is this ship even possible?

With Ignihyde Arc finally reaching its conclusion and the Shroud Brothers giving us their sweet, sweet angst, the last dorm we need to go through is Diasomnia. Even though we just had a drama surrounding its uniform, it seems that it didn’t stop any of us from loving this boy.

Speaking of loving, as we know, Malleus Draconia is the poster boy of Twisted-Wonderland, thus certainly he gains a lot of attention from the players despite not appearing that much in the main story, to the point of some fans ships him with Yuu/The Player.

Today, we will be going through the possible romatic relationship between Malleus and Yuu. We’re going to see how many times they’ve interacted and is it even possible to ship them under in-game circumstances.

However a fair warning: This will be a deep dive between Malleus and Yuu/The Player, not OC Yuu! If your OC Yuu is shipped with Malleus, it’s fine. We’re here just to see the canon interactions, not headcanons or fanfics. Also, there will be spoiler since we’re following the JP update instead of EN. In addition, I’m not the best in researching, all of the translation can be found either in the wiki, Tumblr, or various sources. I’ll try my best to link it down, but any mistake in interpretation is mine.

Without further ado, let’s begin.

A Brief Summary of All Malleus & Yuu Interactions in Main Story

Prologue & Heartslabyul Arc:

Malleus was only mentioned in Episode Prologue-3, 1-8, and 1-28. In the prologue, we see how even mentioning Malleus name brings awes and fears. In Heartslabyul Arc, Trey said that Malleus is one of the five great sorcerers in the world, and Cater added that Malleus is on a different level. He was mentioned again 1-28 by Leona but he’s planning to "start that revenge plan on Malleus”.

Savanaclaw Arc:

Malleus was mentioned many times throughout the Savanaclaw Arc, mostly because he’s Leona’s biggest target.

But Episode 2-14 marks Malleus and Yuu’s first meeting. Malleus sort of trespassed Ramshackle Dorm property and was quite surprised to find someone is living there. Yuu didn’t know Malleus back then and once again, this came as a surprise for Malleus. When he asked their name, Yuu gave him his name but Malleus didn’t give his name for “If they knew who he was, it would certainly leave a chilling impression.” (We will come back to this later, let’s put a pin on this). Malleus left after that, saying that he would need to find another abandoned building to walk around at night.

Octavinelle Arc:

There are two episodes where we meet Malleus: 3-24 and 3-37.

3-24 took place after we failed the second day because we got our asses beaten in Azul’s office. Malleus, or Tsuno-tarou as we decided to call thanks to Grim’s suggestion., once again returned for his nightly visit and found the dorm was way noisier than before. After Yuu told him about their situations, Malleus said something about gargoyle: how even though they look scary, they protect the house from torrential rain. Connecting this with our situations, Yuu picked up that Azul’s contracts are not as invincible as the thought.

In 3-37, we managed to get back to our dorm and Malleus appeared again. He wouldn’t have guessed that we would win against Azul and how he would like to see the ever calm Ashengrotto make a terrified face for it “must have been quite a sight”.

Scarabia Arc

Malleus didn’t appear in Scarabia Arc at all, but a certain scene in Episode 4-39 managed to gain some attention, because the fact that he sent a holiday card through Lilia.

Pomefiore Arc

In exchange for the holiday card, in Episode 5-48, Yuu gave Malleus a ticket to VDC which surprised Malleus how Yuu “know not the meaning of fear”. 

In Episode 5-67 however, might be the most important interaction so far. After the overblot battle, Malleus arrived to the destroyed coliseum. This is when Yuu learnt that "Tsuno-tarou" real name is “Malleus Draconia, the next head of the Valley of Thorns”. After retelling what had happened, Malleus fixed the stadium because he “was simply interested in seeing them (the NRC Tribe) perform” and Vil better “show him a performance I will never forget”. Oh, and he let Yuu to still call him  "Tsuno-tarou".

Ignihyde Arc

Malleus appeared in 6-14 until 6-18, however he and Yuu doesn’t have any direct interact because they are mostly focusing on the attack from STYX. After that, Yuu and Malleus doesn’t interact again until the 6-83 where Malleus noticed Yuu being fine, even if it was cut with Ace and Deuce.

About Malleus and Loneliness

Before we can see why Malleus and Yuu interaction is important, we need to see Malleus from a certain angle: the loneliness angle. 

It had been a running gag of Malleus not being invited because he seems inapproachable and students fear him as seen in the Prologue-3. We also see how Malleus isn’t invited in the dorm leader meeting in Episode 2-6 and Episode 5-2. When he does get invited, like during the VDC or the Yasmina River Firework Festival, he tends to come the earliest so he wouldn’t miss it. This shows how Malleus really wants to be part of something or at least having the connection with the others. You can be seen with how he really care for his tamagochi-like game that he got from Lilia (imagine a virtual pet). When it got wet, he’s pretty upset for that and he’s pretty grateful that Deuce can fix it. He even wish for his tamagochi to make friends.

Malleus himself has a lonely life, despite being a prince. In the Scalding Sands' Al'ab Nariya, he said that as a crown prince of Briar Valley, he cannot leave his country, which might cause why he doesn’t quite understand with technology because of the sheltered lifestyle. In his 2021 birthday interview, the only family member that he mentioned is his grandmother who is the queen, meaning that he possibly doesn’t have any siblings and is an only child, thus there’s no other option of who will be next in line except Malleus. As the crown prince, he had a big duty for his country, thus he’s dedicated to his role, like how he memorized how to survive on a deserted island in his 2022 birthday interview and why he can’t go courting Princess Eliza despite filling the height criteria in Ghost Marriage Event.

We can also see this with Malleus relationship with time. We knows that fae ages different than humans, thus they will live longer than most of the cast, as mentioned how he doesn’t feel any different when during his birthday and see how humans celebrate their birthday is quite peculiar. This is enhanced how Malleus has been thinking hard at the final episode of Ignihyde Arc on how, as Lilia said, human life is “like a this silk thread spinning on a wheel, easy to break".

Episode 6-52 makes a great highlight for this. Despite only meeting Yuu a couple of time in the main story, The Player has left a great impact in Malleus, being a constant relationship.

MALLEUS: I’ve come here seeking solace.

LILIA: … This place has been quite a favorite of yours since entering the school.

MALLEUS: Indeed. It hasn’t been quite the same since Yuu arrived…

MALLEUS: I initially felt disappointed when he first started living here.

MALLEUS: I enjoy desolate places. Ivy creeping through the cracks in the walls, wind sneaking in through the broken windows…

MALLEUS: The silence and solitude present in places no longer frequented by humans puts me at ease.

MALLEUS: History leaves its mark not only on us, and it makes me feel less alone.

LILIA: ………

MALLEUS: Still, I wonder why…

MALLEUS: Yuu has gone, and no one wanders these halls tonight…

MALLEUS: It’s as if a thorn has pricked me. I feel nothing but discomfort.

MALLEUS: It looks as desolate as I’ve always fancied, and yet…

LILIA: Malleus……

The Setback of MalleYuu

Before we can talk about this, this is a friendly reminded that this is viewing MalleYuu in a romantic light and is about Game Yuu/The Player not OC Yuu. Mostly when we’re speaking about MalleYuu, it’s often to be directed to romance. We’ll be addressing that, but keep this in mind.

Now, with that. Is it possible for a MalleYuu endgame?

Possibly no. At least for romantic relationship. As far as we see, Malleus and Yuu are mostly strictly platonic. But why is romantic relationship not possible? Well, there are couple of reasons, but I’ll be talking about the big two:

1. The Fae Prince and the Isekai-ed Human (feat. the discourse between fae and human)

We need to look back to where Yuu and Malleus stand. Yuu is a human from a world without magic who got transferred to Twisted-Wonderland for reason unknown for now. Meanwhile, Malleus is one of the strongest magician in the world and the crown prince of a fae country.

Clearly, just from looking at this, there’s a status difference which would make any romantic relationship ala “star crossed lovers” is almost impossible. 

As mentioned in the early section, Malleus is a crown prince. He doesn’t have any siblings, thus he’s the only one who can be next in line. The risk is way to big for romantic relationship with anyone that doesn’t give any benefit to the kingdom. Even in Ghost Marriage Event, Lilia said that "...even as a bluff, we can't let the next in line to the Valley of Thorns' throne go around proposing to ghosts. It would be a disaster for international relations". He couldn’t even do a fake-out proposal in risk of political disaster.

We also need to remind ourselves that Yuu/The Player is not from Twisted-Wonderland. Imagine the risk of having relationship with someone from another world. If there’s a chance of Yuu/The Player return or vanish to their original world, will the royal court approve the relationship? Not to mention, Yuu/The Player is canonically has no gender, thus there’s also a possibly of marrying Malleus wouldn’t even give birth to an heir, thus there’s no benefit for the kingdom. As we have seen in many kingdom fantasy story, many would prefers marriage that would favor political marriage rather than your traditional marriage with love.

In addition we have to point out how human and fae aren’t in a good relationship as Lilia’s wish in his Wish Upon a Star Event. He stated that he had been wishing this for years which implied it still going to this day. This would mean that Malleus knows about this as well. We could assume that Malleus might have a benefit of doubt, considering the school is filled with humans in a better light, but we can’t deny that he might aware of this.

2. Not Enough Building (feat. other mortals beside Yuu)

As we’ve seen in the first part of the main story interactions, Malleus and Yuu only talks a few times but they barely know anything about each others. Heck, Yuu only knows Malleus’ real name in Episode 5-67. Assuming that one semester is six month in Night Raven College, this can means that Yuu, despite being in the school for six months, doesn’t seem to know or make an attempt to research about anything surrounding the tall Diasomnia student with horns, seen how everyone is surprised of how everyone is surprised of the nicknames both in Episode 5-54 and Episode 5-67. (We also need to remember that “Tsuna-tarou” isn’t even something that Yuu thought of. Grim was the one who suggested it in Episode 2-16.)

Yes, that Malleus seems to value Yuu’s existence as said in Episode 6-52, however this is not enough to build a romantic relationship. We’ve complained a lot about Disney movie and how “you can’t marry people you just met”, but in this scenario, can you really fall in love with someone who you don't even know their true name?

Another thing that might be an argument is that Yuu is the only human who doesn’t see Malleus as a prince. While this might be true, we also need to remember that (1) Yuu is not native to Twisted-Wonderland thus might not understand the weight Malleus’ status, and (2) as said before, Yuu never made an attempt in research or Malleus even mentioning about it. While we can take this as Malleus being secretive, but do you really want to be in a romantic relationship with someone who isn’t being truthful or keeping secrets from you?

In addition, Malleus can have relationship with other humans. Like, Vil who is the only one who even mention that Malleus isn’t in the prefect meeting in Episode 2-6 and Episode 5-2. Or Riddle who Malleus at least respects as seen in Riddle’s Groom-for-A-Day card. Even Leona has one-sided rivalry with him as seen in Savanaclaw Episode and Malleus’ Ceremonial Robe. We can’t also forget that Silver is a human and is Malleus guard who Lilia raised, thus they might meet very frequently even before the main story. What makes Yuu’s relationship with Malleus, who only has at least six face-to-face conversations in the six months of main story, has greater weight than any other?

In Conclusion

Malleus and Yuu’s relationship has been a highlight of the game, however With weak development and in-game political weight, it’s seems that possible romantic relationship might be too far fetch. However, I do want to add that a platonic relationship between Malleus and Yuu can be reach, considering how lonely Malleus might feels and how Yuu is the new constant. 

Also, a little note: not every interaction is romantic. If we see Malleus and Yuu as platonic friends, then this development is understandable. But if go straight with MalleYuu as romantic partners, then this is a very weak romance. You don’t become lovers before knowing each others. And with Yuu only knowing Malleus real name in Episode 5, you can’t say they have romantic interest with each others.

And that’s so far what I can say about. I might miss some things like how I don’t mention any Halloween Event or more card stories, mostly because I haven’t found any reliable translation just yet.

I do want to remind all readers that if your OC Yuu is shipped with Malleus, it’s fine. This is not me banning everyone to not ship Malleus with their Yuu, this is just a short look into the canon relationship.

Whether MalleYuu is canon or not, it’s up to Episode 7 to present it for us.

I have so many thoughts on wolfram and yuuri as people and how they would work as a couple

Re: your original tags i 100% agree that yuuri would be the one to initiate their actual relationship with a kiss he didn't even put any thought into, body just acted. 

I've had this vague fanfic idea in my head for the past like... 10 years (i can't believe i first watched it so long ago) that after getting used to wolfram being his best friend and enjoying being around him in that way for a couple years yuuri would start to catch feelings without even realizing it. Then he'd kiss wolfram in some dramatic dangerous context (like your comic) and immediately fall through a puddle back to earth once the danger is over, without getting the chance to talk to wolfram about it. 

And then yuuri is just like, stuck on earth for a whole month or 2. Ruminating on the kiss, using 2007 style discussion boards to try to figure out his sexuality (😂 poor kid). Maybe watching some random movie (i genuinely don't have a specific one in mind) and realizing that the 2 male main characters have crazy chemisty, remembering something about shipping from that discussion board, searching male character A x male character B and reading some fanfic/seeing some fanart that makes him go "shit maybe i am into guys." Then he like... reads a real romance novel or something that his mom buys him (a teen book! I should clarify. His mom is quirky but not totally oblivous to what would be appropriate), because she's supportive and knows he'd never buy one on his own. And he talks to her a few times about this realization throughout this 2 months. 

Basically, i like the idea of yuuri being forced away from wolfram and all the normalized queerness of shin makoku and still coming to the conclusion that he likes wolfram and wants to be with him. And "hey, im not even gonna be living on earth much past the age of 18 anyway, so why should i care about any of these cultural norms anymore? And my family gets it, so honestly, fuck it."

And then he finally gets back to shin makoku and word vomits/lays this 2 months worth of soul searching at wolfram's feet.

And wolfram is just like, "well it's actually been 8 months or something for me. Glad you figured all that shit out, even though i still don't get what the big deal was, but i definitely panic spiralled into thinking you weren't coming back ever again because of that kiss. So honestly, i'm pretty happy right now. But ngl, you reciprocating my feelings is a little... off putting? No, maybe more like... completely unexpected. I'm in no way prepared for this."

And then their dynamic switches to wolfram being the one who's kind of uncomfortable with public displays of affection (he still likes it, but is noticeably shy/tense). And yuuri just trying his best to not spook wolfram and understand why he's like this now.

And it all just culminates in them having a talk in bed before the fall asleep a couple months after yuuri comes back where wolfram trys to explain how high up on a pedestel yuuri is in his mind and how, to him, it feels like them actually being together is just dragging yuuri down. And how yes, he loves yuuri romantically, but it's also so much more than that. He loves him as his  untouchable best friend who he was JUST getting used to always being out of romatic reach when yuuri got spirited away to earth for 8 months. He loves yuuri as his king. He loves him as an IDEAL. So being with him as his actual fiancé is going to be a slow process. It's a lot to recontextualize in wolfram's head.

But yuuri is fine with that because he's like 18ish/still a teenager at this point and wasn't ready to get married immediately anyway. 

Thanks for the invite to head canon dump on you. It feels good to share these vague ideas for a story i'll never write with another person who GETS the ship in the same way i do 💞

I'm also eager to hear any head canons/ideas you have about these 2. We're def on the same wavelength in terms of wanting to give the characters in kkm more context and agency outside of it being a silly little fantasy adventure thing (with a weirdly well fleshed out world, to be fair) 😂

ok first i feel like i have to clarify that i dont think that my hcs are canon i just like to have fun w kkm chars like dolls lmfaoooo..... but here are my self indulgent how-they-get-together-hcs ALSO its been like a solid two or three months since i last thought in depth abt kkm so i might be messing some details up

i kinda like the idea of wolf drifting apart from yuuri (from his constant rejection as well as duty and circumstance) and yuuri never reciprocates during this time (also never realizes) and eventually wolf goes off to bielefelt to do his duties and become the patriarch after everything settles. (i also like greta a lot so this is where she goes off to her own nation and wanders as a knight and alsooooo has a lesbianism with beatrice at around 20? years old..?) ANYWAYS they're in kind of awkward limbo and 2 yuuri wolf is someone he wishes he was closer to like when they were kids but isn't and he also avoids him from the guilt/shame of rejecting his feelings

at this pt yuuri has noticed in hindsight that he was in love w wolf but anyways something happens (like an attack) and wolf and yuuri are stuck living together again, wolf is once again risking his life for yuuri and his actions sort of betray that he's still just as in love w him as he was before they separated, he just decided that it would be better not to burden him with his feelings (at this pt he's self-aware that 16 year old wolf had a lot of baggage and codependency lumped in with love like the deifying stuff) and eventually yuuri reveals that he thinks he was in love with him too and wolf has to confront the fact that he wasn't looking for romance in the first place and also that yuuri is still too bright for him to touch (in his mind) so he's kinda like i do my job and u do urs for the good of this nation. BUT OFC they eventually get together after a lot of awkward divorcedness YAAAYYYYYYYY

OH ALSO unrelated to prev scenario but one thing i love ab ur hc and teen yuuram is the contrast between the world-ending desperation of wolf's love and the teenage first crush sweetness of yuuri's. I LOVE THE IDEA OF WOLF BEING LIKE. "i would die on the cross for you" (wiping the blood from his brow) and yuuri's just like "ok lets take this one step at a time" the part of the ship that's just yuuri getting to be an awkward gay teen and wolf eventually discovering awkward teen crushisms is sooo cute to me. like discovering that holding hands in a romantic context does not at all feel like what they did in the closet!! soo sweet and cute

McLennon Week 2022

Hello everyone! I’ve been thinking about hosting a fandom event for a while and given that 6th of July (aka the day John met Paul) is coming in a few more weeks, I thought it would be a perfect time to make a McLennon Week to celebrate the wonderful (although at times complicated) relationship between this two legends.

The idea is fairly simple: There would be a selection of prompts to fulfill along said week (from the 4th to the 10th of July), with either fanfics, illustrations, moodboards or whatever other piece of media you want to create. The only requirement is that it is centered around John and Paul. 

It doesn’t have to focus on their relationship from a romatic point of view, it can also be interpreted from a platonic one (I know it’s a complicated subject in the fandom), as I said, the main idea for this event is to celebrate the connection between them since it is what resulted in the creation of the The Beatles.

A Year in Review Part 2: The Percy Jackson Fanfiction of 2007!

Welcome back to A Year in Review: 2007 demigods!

In Part two we take a step back from the fanfiction and look at the fandom. What were the trendy fanfiction topics? How did the community respond to them? And so on!

What we noticed:

Character use:

As always, Percy and Annabeth remain our most popular characters, but let's talk about the new ones! This year The Titan's Curse was published and we were introduced to new characters. Despite their introduction we saw very little of the di Angelo siblings or Rachel Elizabeth Dare. We also noticed a decline in Tyson use despite his introduction in the previous year.

Trends:

This year we noticed fanfic writers had a specific interest in exploring canon moments that happened off screen such as Frederick Chase and Athena meeting (find here!) or Percy meeting Paul Blofis (find here!) We also saw an increase in Percabeth content, obviously, but within this content we noticed Percy and Annabeth were more often OOC than not. This is likely due to the fact that A) these authors focused on the romance aspect and wrote Percy and Annabeth as romatically interested in each other and not much else and B) these characters have not been fully realized yet. We also saw a rise of grammar fanatics in the comments on fics correcting grammar before critiquing the story. We all know this will increase with time, but this is the first instance of an influx. This year we also saw an increase use of OCs in stories with 8 OC fics that qualified and plenty more that did not. (Curious about our requirments? Click here!)

Sexuality headcanons for My hero academia

Here are some headcanons for some mha characters (mostly villains);

Dabi would be bisexual, it’s literally in his name, and I don’t think he would have any preference to any gender

Hawks, I think he would be strictly gay (I also like the headcanon of him being trans ftm)

Miruko, lesbian, her and Hawks kissed once and were both like nope

Shigaraki, I think he would be asexual, but would romatically be interested in men

Toga, bi, thats literally canon, maybe a preference for girls?

Magne, I think she would be straight or bi with a high preference for men, we have the same taste in men (Dabi)

Shouto, he’s literally split into two sides, he’s bi

Twice, he’s also splitting into two sides (i’m sorry i had to😖), I think he’s confused at the moment and questioning his sexuality

A GLEE AU BASED OFF DISNEYS ENCHANTED

This is based off a glee fanfic I read but there's quite bit of differences.

Analasia is a magical place with princesses and princes and magical beings. Like fairies, giants, Wizards. And humans.

The two princes of the land are Cooper Anderson and Blaine Anderson. ( There can be one other prince or princess)

Cooper is the prince everyone in town looks up to, he's the one who protects the village from giants oggares, and Beasts of all kinds. There Soetiety unfortunately though isn't aware of LGBTQ and also Labels people by appearance ( you can have LGBTQ characters in the fantasy I'm just explaining they have like olden day way of thinking.)

Which is why after cooper gets a bride ( Someone can be coopers bride if they really want to XD) he encourages Blaine to do the same and find a women which he should marry. ( I'm not straight washing Blaine this is just self discovering story for him)

Blaine is reluctant but him and his brother go Adventuring where there hear a young maiden in a tower calling for Help. The maiden they save is Rachel.

Blaine and coopers mom is secretly evil and she wants the thrown to still be to herself so she's unhappy that her two sons have found someone to marry. ((Because here in Analasia they just are suppose to know who there soulmate is once they see them and then get married XD))

But the mother dresses as an old hag and tricks Rachel pushing her into a magical fountain that leads to the real world.

Blaine and cooper since they are princes are expected to go and save her. But also some wanna tag along cause why not.

But when they all go though the portal some of them get slit up up into small groups.

From there characters can do whatever you like. And pretty do your own plots even as this plot is going on cause it's just the main plot that it's centered on.

But from there like in new york city, some new yorkers will meet the fantasy people and like they'll grow bonds like to friendships to Romatic relationships. And like that way it will be hard for the fantasy characters to want to leave the real world. Or vise versa

Only characters taken are Blaine, Tina and Marley. The others are open, and ocs are allowed.
