We are back with another round of the Liquid Luck Never Have I Ever Challenge! 🧡

We had our first round of Never Haver I Ever back in 2022, and works created for that round can be found here.

This July we have a challenge that is all about challenging yourself to do something you have never done before. This is a Liquid Luck Drabble & Art Challenge event, and anyone is welcome to join!

Challenges & Prompts can be found here.

- The goal is to challenge yourself to do something you have never done before. For example, write for a pairing you’ve not written for before, or use a character you’ve not used before. Perhaps use a trope you’re not familiar with? Maybe you’ve always wanted to try to write Harry Potter poetry, but never done it before? Or you’ve never made a moodboard before? Let this challenge be the motivation to give it a try!

- There will be eight different challenges. This challenge list is meant as inspiration, and you can give any of them (or all of them) a go. But if you’ve been wanting to try something else out for a while and haven’t done so yet, feel free to use the Never Have I Ever challenge to finally give it a go!

- There will be eight new prompts that you can use as inspiration. As this is a Liquid Luck Drabble & Art Challenge event, you will have to use at least one of our prompts in your work. You can use one of these eight new prompts, or you can use one of our previous prompts. Part 1 | Part 2

Every four days - starting on the 1st of July - I will post a reminder of one of the challenges and prompts. But challenges can be done at any time of the month, as long as your work is completed by the 31st of July.

Just a few simple rules & guidelines for this challenge :

- For your work to be accepted for this challenge it will have to include two things : Something you have not done / written / created before + A Liquid Luck Drabble & Art Challenge prompt. This can either be one of the eight new prompts, or one of our previous prompts. Part 1 | Part 2

- Both fics and art are welcome for this challenge. There is no minimum or maximum word count, and all forms of art (moodboard, drawing, fan video etc.) are welcome.

- This is a Harry Potter challenge, and all pairings are allowed, as long as they include at least one character from the book / movie. This includes Rare Pairs, Next Gen, Cross Gen and characters from connected canon such as Cursed Child and Fantastic Beasts.

- All works posted to the AO3 Collection will be shared to the Tumblr page. Please give it up to 48 hours for me to share your work to Tumblr. If it hasn’t been shared after that time, there’s a chance I have missed it. Then feel free to send me a message to remind me to share it. The AO3 Collection will be the same as the one for the Liquid Luck Drabble & Art Challenge, but works for this event will only be accepted between the 1st of July and the 31st of July. After that, the challenge is over and the AO3 Collection is only open to Liquid Luck Drabble & Art Challenge works again.

- Drabbles / fics will be shared with a post with information and a link to your work. If you create art for the challenge and you tag the page, I will reblog your art, but as tagging doesn’t always work, please send me a message if your art hasn’t been reblogged after 48 hours.

- Works for this challenge have to be new. Older works that fit the prompt will not be accepted into the AO3 collection or shared to the Tumblr page.

- All pairings, ratings and genres are allowed, but please make sure to add the correct tags, and please post a warning if your work is NSFW, or if it contains upsetting themes or possible triggers.

- Prompts for the Liquid Luck Never Have I Ever Challenge may be combined with prompts for other challenges, but please make sure to check with the mods for those other challenges / fests as well!

HERE THERE BE HOT ROBOTS

This will be a blog dedicated purely to determining which robots are most smashable.

If all goes right, I'll post a smash or pass poll every day, and a weekly poll on which version of a character is hottest on Fridays.

Propaganda and discussion welcome, harassment and petty fights are not.

You'll be allowed to request specific transformers characters, but they must appear in the franchise at some point, and have a canon visual depiction. Make sure to specify name and continuity when making requests!

Please only one or two characters per ask. If they come in a set you can let me know and there's a good chance I'll string all of them together on my own, if others don't already ask for them first, but due to how much research can go into finding good pics for characters I'm unfamiliar with, it may not always happen neatly like that.

Human and other alien characters are allowed (like quintessons, the vok, whatever) but underage characters are not. If I'm uncomfortable sexualizing a character I also reserve the right not to use them in a poll.

Please be patient with me, I get easily distracted and I'm running this blog on my own spare time! If I don't answer your ask straight away, just give it a couple weeks, chances are the queue is just pretty full already and I'll get to it on the next burst.

Since I’ve actually been getting art requests lately I wanted to make a rules post to avoid confusion

I mostly post/draw JJBA but I’m in other fandoms too, active in some more than others. If you’ve seen me reblog it, it’s fair game. A list is in my intro post!

-If you want me to draw something but you don’t know if I’m in the fandom, DM me or just go ahead and submit it while keeping in mind the possibility that I don’t know the character and won’t answer

-I will draw memes, special outfits, specific poses, groups, etc.

-You’ll get anything from a sketch to a full render depending on what I have time for

-I don’t have a timeframe I can give for these, I do them whenever I can

Hypokits Rules

Rules regarding requesting hypokits!

A bit more intensive with these rules, as I’ve had issues with hypokits specifically in the past.

Please be respectful and kind! I’ve gotten a lot of slack with hypokits specifically for some of my rules, so I’m going to be very strict this time around when it comes to upholding them.

The same “parents” may be requested multiple times! I will only be doing one hypokit per ask, but each will come with their own personal story and personality. If the same “parents” get requested, then they just get another kit added to their list of fake children lol.

These hypokits all belong to me unless specifically said otherwise. They might be up for sale or trade someday, but as of posting this, I have no intentions of giving them away.

No close incest ships for my own comfort. This means no ships between immediate family members (siblings, aunts/uncles, parents, etc). Warriors has an issue with incest already, so I’m willing to be a bit more lenient when it comes to characters who are farther related like… several cousins however-many-times-removed. Plus I’m not super keen on the mess that is detangling the family tree just for the sake of drawing some cats, so if “parents” are suggested and I don’t automatically know they’re related from memory, that’s on y’all. I’m not gonna dig for it.

Keep the number of “parents” AT or BELOW five. This isn’t meant to be rude towards polycules of higher numbers, this is mostly just for my own sanity lol, and so the hypokit(s) in question don’t come out looking like an absolute harlequin of traits.

Hypokits may ONLY be requested of characters that I have already drawn/designed. Request the parents first, and separately, before asking for any hypokit out of them. If you ask for hypokits from characters I have yet to design, your request will be deleted.

i WILL tell you whether your character is realistic, and whether you did a good job avoiding overused or harmful tropes, when it comes to tics/dyslexia/dysgraphia (also i can consult on Polish characters lol, it's always fun to read about Polish people, but i will give my answer on @eye-devourer in order to leave this blog more focused).

you can send me an ask with a paragraph of your work you want me to comment on. It will help if you add what things you want me to focus on.

4. SPELLING MISTAKES

i will make them. often.

be kind about it. i use a spellchecker, but sometimes i will misspell a word in such a way that even the spellchecker won't be able to help. I also struggle with homophones (whether/weather; flower/flour).

Just a really quick rules post! Covers what you can request, who I write for, etc!

General Rules:

I write sfw and nsfw! I'm also totally fine with writing both headcanons and full scenarios, depends on what you request and how I'm feeling abt writing at the moment! (Also open to alphabets + matchups!) Obviously don't request the basic shit (r4p3, 1nc3st, p3d0philia, weird fetishes and kinks, etc.), but other than that, go wild! I have nearly no triggers and the angstier the request the better. There's a reason I like writing Dazai.
