TWST: 🤔 What Would They Name Their Child?
.‧₊˚ ⋅. ݁₊ ⊹
it's the infamous High School baby project
TWST does not care about verbs/nouns/gender when it comes to names, I'm only going to do 1 'gender neutral' name (in theory), in twst fashion. For instance, a boy has an equal chance of being named Sarah, Kart, or John and vice-versa for a girl. I'll be using a randomizer for the gender and number of children, you can decide on what gender the baby is (unless you comment which character(s) you'd like to know.)
.‧₊˚ ⋅. ݁₊ ⊹
🌹Heartslabyul
🌹 Ace - Stariya nn: Ari
If Thorn's eyes just so happen to match the name (starry) that's between Ace and himself. I just made up the name ^ ace/star are like synonyms.
🌹Deuce - Dawner
Dylla, Deuce, might as well have another 'D' name. I tried to make dawn sound more unique. Dawn represents 'new beginnings' since Deuce would want to leave that rebel past behind and step up to father a bag of flour.
🌹 Trey - Blithe
Trey and Blithe are both word names where I feel they're both so in use they don't conjure up an image. Blithe means happy/joyful. When scrolling through baby name websites I did see 'Almond and 'Nachos' listed, I need you to know this.
🌹 Cater - Dice nn: Icy
When making this I realized the characters aren't exactly named after games, sorry Uno, Scrabble, and Yahtzee - but parts of it, so Dice.
🌹 Riddle - Bridge
The card game bridge, he so would, but also a reference of Um from Umbridge. 'Rule' was listed as a baby name I--
🐾Savanaclaw
🐾 Leona - Folasade nn: Sade
(Based off my fav singer Sade ♡) I think Leona would like the meaning 'honor earns a crown; rule with nobility'
🐾 Ruggie - Junior
Thorn and Ruggie could not agree on a name - no the baby isn't Thorn jr or Ruggie jr, they're just Junior. Ruggie's name is a joke about his rugged life right? If he was based on a carpet his child could be Matti.
🐾 Jack - Gabrielle nn: Brielle/Gibby
Jack is one of few characters that has a common/average name - the child will need this stability in a place like twst! He's also a serious guy so it would be impossible to get him to agree on any name trends like alternate spellings/locations/words etc. Thorn finds a loophole with nicknames.
🌊 Octavinelle
Azul - Seren and Perle
I changed the spelling of 'pearl' and I keep debating if I should have or not. Seren is pretty close to siren, these names sound mermaid-y.
Jade - Nori
From the character Nori in Barbie Mermaidia, I think it means seaweed. Jade was nice enough to let Thorn pick out the name, and Thorn went for the first fictional mermaid that came to mind.
Floyd - Nike
Names from sneaker brands you could use as baby names and no on would know: Nike, Chuck, Chelsea, Taylor, Jordan, Mary Jane, Croc, etc.
💜 Pomefiore
💜 Vil - Liesel, Eden, and Hansl
I don't think Vil would be one of those celebrities parents that have all their children have the same initial, unique spellings, or invent names, or maybe he would? You know what? Having a common name would be a celeb niche in twst, he did not beat those allegations.
💜 Rook - Giselle
Is Rook French? bc I feel like he just uses French bc its trendy - he'd still pick a French/French influenced name though. Giselle is from the ballet 'Gisele' its romantic/dramatic/dark (quite sad really.)
💜 Epel - Ruby, Opal, and Jona
Part 2 of names from apples you could use and nobody would know: Crispin, Jonathan, Gala, Ruby, Opal, Ambrosia, Autumn, Rose, Granny, etc. When I realized I could make all their names 4 letters I had to take that opportunity.
🦜 Scarabia
🦜 Kalim - Salim
Derived from the Arabic expression 'salima' which points to something 'safe' and 'sound' Salim means peaceful/safe.
🦜 Jamil - Rana
Rana has so many meanings from around the world, in Arabic it means 'eye-catching' or 'beautiful' and in Sanksrit it means 'king/nobility'
🦋 Ignihyde
Idia - Raiden, Kaeya, Haruhi
There's no way Idia isn't naming his kids, real or not, after his fav characters. I settled on these names bc I was tired of thinking 😭he's a gamer and otaku and I could not think of anything niche or any deep cuts, they're all from Genshin Impact or OHSHC, lets face it, Idia wouldn't like the mainstream anything. Thorn was just trying to save these kids from a 'Bakugou Johnson' situation.
🍵 Diasominia
Malleus - Maenight and Twillian
(I invented these names part 2) Maenight is meadow + midnight bc no child of Malleus is mid 😤 and Twillian is twilight + lillian. Both kids are named after their parents initial and hobby: nature/night walks
Lilia - Garnet and Dove
Lilia has interesting naming conventions (Silver), so I tried to apply that here. Let's say child one has his eyes, so garnet, and child two has a calm demeanor, so dove.
Sebek - Amoret and Evermore nn: Ami and Ever
Sebek and Thorn have a book club so they'd pick literary names. Amoret is a character from the epic poem 'The Faerie Queene' by Edmund Spenser, and I think Sebek would like it. Evermore is from 'The Raven' a narrative poem by Edgar Allen Poe (there's a raven character that repeats evermore/nevermore) BUT if thats too dark there's also the Taylor Swift song 'Evermore' (which I feel has inspiration from 'The Raven')
Silver - Aurelia
Aurelia means gold, but I was trying to have Thorn and Silver apply their own meanings, aurora + starlight = aurelia. (Named after how their parents' eye colors are described)
☁️ Misc.
Neige - Chanson nn: Channing
'Chason' is the French word for 'song'. And if there's one thing disney princesses do is sing (also how Neige and Thorn met.)
Che'nya - Artemis-Alchemis nn: Emi
Che'nya's name is either written as Alchemi Alchemivich Pinka or Artemi Artemiyevich Pinker - as a nod to this naming convention you get the best of both worlds!
Rollo - Genesis nn: Gene/Genie
(C'mon it was right there! Okay I'll stop-- but ya this name is like an upscale Hope/Faith/new beginngings)
Skully - Noa and Iona
The way this man probably would have done a 'Jack and Spare Jack'
Thorn convinces him to just use the letters from 'Jack Skellington.' You can get a lot of names out of that ^ : Stella, Jackie, Jace, Ione, Ellis, Cat, Jane, etc.
.‧₊˚ ⋅. ݁₊ ⊹
(Should Ortho + side characters be included? Let me know in the comments if you'd like to see anyone else!)

Day 3: Exploring areas nearby
We went to the hospital, this time with the intention of exploring the college campus and other buildings in the hospital complex like the State Drug Testing Lab, Govt. Ayurvedic office etc. We wanted to find how these places are connected to the hospital and how they work.
We also went to the hospital to observe people, but it was very empty compared to the previous day. The MS told us people come on different days to see a doctor of their choice, as two doctors sit in one OPD, alternating everyday.
Roaming in the college campus
We went to talk to the Principal of the college, Dr Devendra Khurana. However, he did not give us permission to talk to the administration department. That left us with no choice, so we decided to explore the college itself. We saw the offices of department heads, saw the micro-anatomy lab and seminar hall of the college.
Then we saw students leaving a lecture room, so we followed them to see where they were headed. We joined the crowd, and it turned out they were all heading outside for lunch. We talked to three first year students, asked what they do in the college. They said they only visit the hospital if needed and mostly study in the college. They also suggested us to talk to third and fourth year students.
Observing and talking to interns
We came back to the hospital disappointed as we couldn’t get much info from the college. We decided to talk to the students working in the hospital, to see what we could learn about the college and the hospital. She told us that the hospital and the college are two separate entities under the SKAU University.
We talked to Dr Ekta, who was interning in the hospital. She was a BAMS student. She explained all the subjects that they study in the college- Rachna Sharir, Kriya Sharir, Ayurveda Siddhanth, Dravyagun, Rasa Shastra, Stri Roga and Prastuti, Balrog, Panchkarma, Kayachikitsa and Shalya Tantra. They also study Sanksrit language in their first year. She also talked about her college and the struggles faced by students, the complications that arose with the introduction of a new exam after internship.
She also explained that her work as an intern to is to assist the doctor, who is also their teacher. She talks to the patients before the doctor, notes down patient history and takes their vitals on the slip given at reception.

Drug Testing Lab and DO office
We entered the Drug Testing Lab first, where a nice lady at the reception explained what the role of this place was. The DTL is an independent body responsible for testing out the drug samples sent by the government. The samples come from the District Ayurvedic Officer (DO).
Then we went to the DO office to inquire more info. We were informed there that the place is responsible for research and development of Ayurvedic medicines. She also mentioned the Herbal farm near the campus which they use for development as well. They supply powder form medicines all over the state, and they are working to develop more different kinds of medicines.
The MD students from the college come to these places for their research work, as well as to test drugs. Apart from this, there is no direct connection to the hospital.
Failed attempt at role play
We sent a member to role play as a patient and see how the process for visiting a doctor is. He said he has a headache and got a slip at the reception. The receptionist told him to go to room 50, but it was closed. The doctor had left at 3.50 PM, before the OPD timings, that day. The receptionist had also left.
The place was starting to get emptier and emptier every minute. We saw many interns chatting, many people saying bye and leaving. They were locking all the OPDs and turning all the lights off. Most of the people left, were in front of the MS office, who had some work left or were about to leave.
After OPD Hours
Since most of the people were gone, we went to the first floor to talk to inpatients. There were a few people resting on the beds in the panchkarma ward. We talked to a middle aged woman from Yamuna Nagar, who had been admitted the previous day for panchkarma therapy.
She told us that she gets her medicine at the beginning of the day, then she’s left alone all day. All patients are left on their own after getting their daily medicine/therapy. The woman was bored in the hospital and had fun talking to us.
Pharmacy
The pharmacy was open after hours, till 8 PM. We talked to the in-charge their and understood the system of it. They order around 150 medicines (as listed in the Govt. Drug list) one month prior. The main supplier is Indian Medicines Pharmaceutical Corporation Limited (IMPCL).
The medicines come to Storage, from where they go to the Dispensary and are registered in the Expenditure register. When any medicine is finished, the demand goes back to Storage. Doctors are given the list of medicines, from which they prescribe medicine to the patients.
All medicines in the pharmacy are free of cost. Medicine comes in the form of powder, tablet, paste and liquid. They are all categorized and then alphabetically arranged. Sometimes patients are given medicines, and to ask any doubts they are sent to the interns, who explains it to them.
We got many insights, almost all the information and context about the system at the superficial level. We decided to come back the next working day to get to know more about the people involved in the system. tiring day lol.

India as It Really Is
Is really true that India is casteist ?
Since the begining, the libertarian and non ambitious values of the hinduism were a great threat to greedy and opressive people.Read the following books that tell what colonizators did against India and you will see the slanders they made against this country.
*Book : Battle for Sanskrit,by Rajiv Malhotra
This book tells about the interests for Sanksrit ,be good or evil intentions
*Book:Breaking India-Western Interventions in Dravidian and Dalit Fautlines
This book talks about the division that Western colonizators made in India, provokimg fightings between Indians
*Book:Why Shiva Linga Is Not a Phallus,by Guruji Sundara
This book is very important, cause tells about the distortions made by European Authors in Sanskrit grammars and dictionaries in English and the translation of Hindu holy books into English language, for that people don't learn Sanskrir right and don't kmow te real scriptures, and yes, manipulated texts, grammars and dictionaries.
At request of a friend who promotes this book,I will not put the pdf version for free. But you can buy them for a very cheap price in Google Play Books.
*Caste is Not Hindu ,by Guriji Sundara
This book tells about the lie created by Westerns about India : the caste system , and what is the interest behind this lie.
Again,at request of a friend who promotes this book,I will not put the pdf version for free. But you can buy them for a very cheap price in Google Play Books.
*Sanskrit Non Translatable Words - by Rajiv Malhotra

Anaya
Anaya is also a respelling of Hebrew Anaiah, a priest in the Christian Old Testament whose name means "God answers." Lastly, Anaya may derive from Sanksrit and mean the intriguing "one who has no leader." All around, Anaya suits a willful little one with a tender heart, free spirit, and faith that keeps their toes ...Apr 12, 2024

Lecture-3, S- Part-2
We call it Gach (Bengali), which came from Sanksrit
1) the conceptual system
2) language
Concept is tree. Language is what we use to speak
Colors have meaning For me Red Has always been passion and danger, Yellow stands foris probably simply like a new beginning its like a happy color, Green can be Jelousy, Lush, Nature.
Ferdinand de Saussure
•signifier and signified
•Marking of difference in language produces meaning
SUSHI
FISH
SEAFOOD
Its all food but different
SUSHI BAR
FISH AND CHIP SHOP
SEAFOOD RESTAURANT
Now we add words with these it becomes something else. Like a place
< Syntagmatic axis (links, chain-like)>
SUSHI BAR
FISH AND CHIP SHOP
SEAFOOD RESTAURANT
^
Paradigmatic axis (the axis of choice)
Syntagmatic axis / paradigmatic axis
Syntagmatic analysis can describe the spatial relationship of a visual text such as posters, photographs or a setting of a film
Paradigmatic axis looks at the way words are grouped together into categories.
•Codes = collections of signs in specific forms, (e.g.: language, writing, pictures, acting, graphic layout)
•Codes = defined by their conventions, how they are used, how the code hangs together.
•Primary codes = writing, visuals, sound
•Secondary codes = smaller codes within these systems: dress, body language (termed code of expression), visual colour, picture composition, lighting, mise-en-scène, written text, typeface etc.
•ICON ICONS LOOK LIKE THE THING (PHOTOGRAPHS, TOILET SIGNS)
•INDEX INDEXICAL SIGNS INDICATE A FURTHER OR ADDITIONAL MEANING TO THE ONE ALREADY SIGNIFIED. (SMOKE = AN INDEX OF FIRE)
•SYMBOL THE SIGNIFIER DOES NOT RESEMBLE OR CAUSE THE SIGNIFIED BUT IS RELATED TO IT BY CONTRACT OR CONVENTION (E.G. ROSE REPRESENTS ROMANCE)

CONNOTATION
If we put 2 lines in the screen it can mean a lot of things. Usually I would think of health pack in games. Cause I have grew up playing games a lot.
The Sloane Ranger style was characterized by an upmarket conservative fashion sense influenced by the younger members of the aristocracy and the Royal family. For women, this style included classically tailored outfits such as navy blue tights and skirts paired with Jaeger jackets or velvet blazers. Accessories often included Gucci shoes, shoulder bags, strings of pearls, and Hermes head scarves. Hair was typically elegantly bobbed or occasionally worn in a ponytail. This style was known for its refined and understated elegance.
This style borrowed elements from various British youth subcultures and created a collage of fashion using items like drape jackets, drain pipe trousers, work boots, and leather jackets. Safety pins, buckles, and zip fasteners were used to hold the look together. Hairstyles were short, spiky, and often dyed. Clothes featured stenciled slogans, and there was a combination of sexual fetishism elements such as studded leather, PVC, bondage straps, and stiletto heels. This style embodied a sense of rebellion, non-conformity, and alienation, and it was reflected in the dissonance of punk music.

It is time to remember that the Earth is a living spiritual being (called Bhumi in sanksrit language). Bhumi Devi is worshipped as the divine mother earth. We modern people can learn a lot from these ancient wisdom teachings.

Learn Sanskrit language
I noticed a mistake in A.M.Ruppel Sanskrit grammar;is said that there are not possessive pronoums and I asked for graduated Sanskrit people and checked grammars made by Indians and saw tha's an absurd,as I suspected since the beginning.
I learnt that there is a plot against India to impeach people to learn Sanskrit and know what the hinduism really is.
So, I prefer Indian authors to do grammars and Hindi-Sanskrit dictionaries.
Between the few Indian authors I trust on , I have the Sanskrit grammar Kalari , by Janardanan Nair, which link is :
The other , by other Indian authors, are very short.Because that, I am wanting to learn Hindi,to transalte Sanskrit grammars in Hindi to English. After aall,as we readed in the books by Guruji Sundhara, there is a plot against India trought Sanskrit language by European authors to impeach people to know Sanskrit and know the true Hindu holy books, and,of according to rajibv Malhotra, there are non translatable Sanskrit words to English, and that we should use a Sanksrit-Hindi dictionary, cause Hindi is the nearest possible to Sanskrit.

I don't know a single thing about genshin impact but I love your animosity towards this nashida, whoever she is lol
LMAOOOO i honestly don’t usually passionately hate on characters but this time . i have legitimate reasons and it pisses me off sm when people love a character who is the most obvious case of colourism i’ve seen 😭 (if u want the tea, basically genshin made a character who has a lot of hindu motifs and is southasian inspired, and is also the god of a Swana inspired region but made the character the palest mf in the whole game And literally gave them the most western design😭 idk colourism is already so deeprooted in southasian culture so to see people from other cultures take what they can romanticise like the sanksrit language and food and symbols and stories but refuse to show our skin colour/clothing it just feels so rude 😭 and then seeing everyone just mindlessly enjoy this character really feels ugh)
#sorry for the huge answer when ur not even a genshin fan BDKDBDKJS my hobby is hating nahida lol#i was really just venting lol rip#talk to me!#idk i wouldn’t care much usually but she’s the fucking archon#the representative of the whole entire region#and they made her into a white lightbulb baby that has the Worst 5 star design i’ve seen yet#her dress is so plain and boring and it merges with her skin tone and her eyebrows are invisible and it makes her face look so weird#she just looks so weird and wonky#and add the colourism on top it’s just#how do people like her 😭 why do i have to keep being subjected to something to ugly and annoying 😭

Tarot Key 0: The Fool
Hebrew alphabet: Aleph (“ox”)
Element: Air
The Fool is the first card in the tarot deck, and it is often depicted as a youthful androgynous figure dressed in colorful, ragged clothing, carrying a bundle on the end of a stick over their shoulder. They are often depicted as carefree and happy, with a look of wonder and innocence on their face.
The first card in the major arcana, The Fool, is associated with the first letter in the Hebrew alphabet: Aleph ("ox"). It is attributed to the element of Air - which, in this sense, means the Life-Breath, and is equivalent to the English spirit, Latin spiritus, Greek pneuma, and Sanksrit prana. All these words mean air or breath; they all designate the all-pervading cosmic energy which animates every living creature.
The Fool represents the beginning of the journey towards enlightenment and spiritual growth: the stage of pure potential and possibility. Thus it can show up in a reading to herald new beginnings, fresh starts, and a youthful sense of adventure, as well as to mark new phases in your life. It is also often associated with taking risks, being spontaneous, and stepping into the unknown. This card represents the beginning of a spiritual journey towards greater understanding and enlightenment. It invites us to approach life with an open mind and a sense of wonder, and to trust in the guidance of the divine as we navigate the ups and downs of life.
However, the Fool can also represent naivety and a lack of foresight. They may be so caught up in the excitement of new beginnings that they fail to see the potential dangers or pitfalls ahead. Hence this card can also represent a need for caution, as well as a reminder to think things through before proceeding with action.
The Fool is certainly a multi-faceted card, and one of the most complex to interpret in the whole arcana. It is a symbol of both the potential for growth and a warning against naivéte. It invites us to embrace new opportunities and take risks, but also reminds us to be mindful of the consequences of our actions.
Interpretation: In spiritual enquiries it represents ideas, thoughts, spirituality, that which endeavors to rise above the material. In everyday matters, the card represents folly, inexperience, and eccentricity - too ideal and unstable to be generally interpreted as positive in material matters.

Do you have any Vaderdala headcanons?
My headcanons for Vaderdala (since Padme is dead in canon) usually revolve around Vader being reminded of Padme in some way. Like him visiting her apartment and keeping some of her possessions or visiting her grave like in Legends and keeping the Japor Snippet. Being reminded of Padme every time he interacted with Leia. Maybe even coming across lotuses when he least expects it (since Padme is Sanksrit for a lotus). Vader finding the unsent letters Padme had written for him or a diary. Vader keeping holos of her and her speeches in the Senate and imitating the way she spoke as Amidala. I also like to think maybe his ship malfunctioned while on a mission and he had to land on Naboo and he happened to meet the Naberries (also one of Padme’s nieces grew up to look like Padme). Him meeting the new Queen of Naboo but still being reminded of 14-year-old Amidala. And of course, he revisited all the places he had been with Padme and saw how Naboo remembered Padme and she was everywhere. Vader mistaking Sabe for Padme and hoping she was still alive somehow. Vader talking to Padme’s ghost (which may or may not be real), especially before meeting with Luke in ROTJ and adamantly believing her ghost is a part of his hallucination. Vader using Padme’s Nubian starship. Vader building a private mausoleum, for his wife. Vader calling Palo and commissioning art and sculpture of her to keep her memories alive. It’s basically Padme haunting him for the rest of his life, which reminds me of how Anakin and Padme would always say they would never leave each other and they are bound together. I have SO many headcanons.

Quote
Yoga and Ayurveda define the universe, and all things, as a composition of five elements. Space (or Ether) – Akasha in Sanksrit. From which all things come and to which all things return. Space is present in the seen and unseen. Air – Vayu Akasha in motion is Vayu. Air is responsible for all change, all movement. Fire – Tejas Responsible for all transformation in the entire universe. Water – Jala in Sanskrit. Jala is flow, cohesion, lubrication, connection. Earth – Prithvi Earth is strength, stability, foundations. It is the most gross and least subtle element. Each element has a seat in the body. Ayurveda is the science of putting and keeping those elements in balance and harmony to create health and wellbeing.
