If you want, something for Recharge?
I was so surprised to find that I've actually written 2k more words on it for the next chapter. I don't remember doing that. Awesome! It wrote itself! Anyways, here's a little bit for it:
******
Wild lay pale and still, covered in blankets, and with his feet propped up on someone’s rather full laundry bag. Hyrule fretted nearby, digging through his own bag and pulling out yet another blanket though pitifully thin and draped it over his prone friend.
“Hyrule, it’s fine,” Warriors said. “Wild doesn’t need any more blankets. We don’t want to overheat him.”
“But… he’s so cold. His hands are so cold,” Hyrule said squeezing Wild’s hand.
“If his hands are cold then put them under the blankets.”
“Come here, there’s nothing more to be done for him,” Twilight said and motioned Hyrule to come take a seat next to him. Hyrule reluctant tucked Wild’s hand away under the covers and came over and sat down next to Twilight.
“Okay, I think it’s time we address the dragon in the room,” Legend said. “The Master Sword broke. What does that mean for the rest of us? And is that what caused Wild to… be in the state that he’s in?”
“No, the two things can’t be related,” Sky said quickly. “Fi would never hurt someone like that.”
“We can’t discount the possibility so quickly,” Time said. “It is a little too coincidental in my opinion.”

Uther Pendragon, King of Camelot, came awake with a sneeze. Several sneezes. As undignified as it felt, he wasn’t the only one sneezing, the majority of his advisers sat along the table were sneezing too. Many of them were looking around in bewilderment, as though looking for a reason for the sudden bout.
The reason lay obvious in the thick layer of dust that coated the table. That lay on the floors around them, undisturbed by footprints or the movement of the air. Dust covered every surface of the room, and it covered them all, layering their clothes and skin, turning their hair grey, tarnishing the jewellery they wore, the very crown on his head.
“What is the meaning of this?” He demanded, surging to his feet. The action kicked up yet more dust and he sneezed again. His clothes were heavy with it. “Sorcery!” he snarled, for it had to be, there could be no other explanation for the grime coating them all. “Guards!” he shouted but already the doors were opening, and a pair of his guards were surging inside.
“Sire,” the one on the left called, “magic!”
Uther wanted to make a pithy comment in response but the urgency in the man’s voice forestalled him. “Explain,” he ordered.

Far worse, in my opinion, than the famous “he wouldn’t fucking say that” is “he WOULD fucking say that, as part of his facade, but you seem to think he would mean it genuinely”

why are all these modern aus for the Odyssey set in a high school. where's the retelling where Odysseus is just a guy lost in an airport who keeps missing his connecting flights home due to a comical series of delays and disgruntled airline employees

writing dialogue for Astarion in like a normal text editor is very difficult actually because it feels like all his dialogue should be created with WordArt

"undoing this character's death would take away his sacrifice and character arc" girl I don't give a shit. I'm bringing him back through the power of ao3 fix-it fics and there's nothing you can do to stop me x

thinking about that post of people assuming ao3 has an algorithm and also about how bonkers persistent the view is that ao3 is social media lite. like with startling regularity I get comments saying something along the lines of "it's probably weird to comment on a fic this old--" no it isn't!!!! this is an archive I am literally just assuming you searched for a selection of specific tags or sorted by kudos or looked back on my pseud or any other number of completely normal ways to use an archive site ?? kill the tiktok ghost in your brain and comment on old stuff it's NOT weird

people telling you they reread your fic is the biggest compliment you could ever receive. there are thousands of stories out there begging to be found, to be explored, but your story meant so much to someone that they came back to it eagerly, they went over every word again. to love is to return and loving a fic is rereading it. thank you to all readers and rereaders <3333
