In some respects, one can think of a quantum computer today as being analogous to an analog computer from years ago. The cooling is key to reduce energy and thus vibration in the system. yes man and six met after six's "confrontation" w benny where they were basically like "what if you didnt kill me actually" and benny was like "hmm. fair point. okay" and then ran away lmao . they were searching his suite for clues and then opened a door and got jumpscared by a whole securitron standing there lol. they didn't like him at ALL when they first met, but by the time they'd gotten the chip back and got ym installed in the lucky 38 they were so shaken up by the events of the like, past 2 days lol that they just told ym to get in his securitron body and they left the strip with no real plan. yes man felt like the only person they could trust, and that was half bc they didn't even really see him as a person yet, but their time alone together got them to build trust in each other rly quickly as six regained confidence in themself . its a whole thing lol

six and benny's first meeting was literally benny shooting them in the head lmao but they don't really remember that happening tbf. while they were trying to get to new vegas for the first time benny was kinda an Idea to them more than a person, and they kinda had the impression he had some big master plan or something. but by the time they actually meet him again it quickly became obvious not only that he's kinda a loser and a huge asshole but also that both of them are Very quick to fuck w each other (him flirting w them enough to lead them into a trap, them asking very nicely to not be killed, benny being like "this isnt like me at all but fine", and six was like Oh Im In Your Head Now Fucker) and that's also the moment six knew they were kinda into him a little bit lmao

i say this with all the kindness i can muster. the way some of y’all take with complete earnestness the statements made by characters who have been proven to be unsavoury/villainous/evil/(insert other suitable adjectives here) to be word-of-god factual is deeply concerning actually. like fiction is fiction and this is far from being an accusation about the morality of those who are curious about/compelled by the motivations of immoral characters. this is a deep concern i have for people who exist in a time where media of all kinds, fiction and nonfiction, is used to embed values in its audience. a concern i have for existing among people who don’t even question the truth/accuracy of statements made by the textual villains of stories before accepting them.
