The civilization trapped in an ice meteorite.

Superman, after saving the earth from another earth ending bomb, breeze through space, were glowing clouds of gas and dust known as a planetary nebula floated around aimlessly with glowing green dwarf particles as if a solar system was sucked into, but there only lays a sun and 7 planets here before before something caught his eye.

A pusling aimlessly floating ball like metorite full of frozen white ice with green dipped in the bottom in the middle of space. The pulsing glow flickers like a couple of very slow heartbeats.

Superman used his x ray vision to see inside, and what he saw immediately immediately griped the ice and speed flew over through back to the Watchtower which was not far from here.

Superman spoke in the coms of his oxygen mask to the Watchtower.

"Open the space entrance gates, and someone calls in Beatriz Da Costa. I found a floating town trapped in metorite ice with what seems civilians' insides." Superman spoke in the coms as he pushed the metorite carefully toward the watchtower, unaware of the gigantic glowing transparent being with 8 neon green eyes staring at him wrapped around the ice metorite like a Serpent to it's eggs.

It’s one of the first calls that Eddie’s back with the 118. He and Buck are surprisingly normal and good, considering they didn’t leave in the best place. Being Buck’s partner runs like clockwork, like he hasn’t been gone for 3 months. They work together smoothly and seamlessly, in sync like always. Eddie doesn’t know how he lived without this. 

It’s not a difficult call, but significant enough to require multiple stations. A man from the 133 keeps giving Buck a look that doesn’t quite sit right with Eddie, for reasons he can’t quite explain. 

The man is even beefier than Buck, which is saying something, his face turns red when he’s caught by Buck looking back at him. Eddie raises an eyebrow in Buck’s direction but doesn’t say anything.

It’s not long after that when the man finally makes his way over to Buck, scratching his neck as he talks.

Buck laughs at what he says and the man flushes harder. Eddie can’t help but smile at the way Buck breaks into a grin, even if he’s decided he doesn’t really like this other guy.

“I was uh— wondering if you like to get dinner with me sometime?” The man says.

Buck’s smile turns sympathetic. “Sorry,” he says. “I don’t date firefighters, or anyone even remotely connected to a call.”

“Ah, no worries,” the man says, slightly sheepish.

Eddie doesn’t know why his heart stops beating for a moment. Doesn’t know why the words hit him square in the chest, harder than any gun shot wound he’s had. 

He doesn’t know why the world feels like it’s moving in slow motion or why a sheen of water rises in his eyes.

He doesn’t understand, but his shoulders slump, his smile drops, and he feels hurt.

He knows he doesn’t have any right to be. Buck can date who he wants, and make rules however he likes. 

He doesn’t have any problem with that. He doesn’t. 

“Hey, you okay?” Buck says, resting a hand on his shoulder, startling Eddie out of his thoughts.

“I um— yeah,” he coughs. “‘Course.”

When Buck drops his hand Eddie feels a strange sensation of coldness in its place. A longing for touch he didn’t know he needed.

It hits him like a truck.

Oh. He thinks.

Oh.

There is something so captivating about gaining higher ground. Teddy looked out over the braided West Matukituki River as he worked his way up a nearby ridgeline. Can you blame him for wanting to sit here watching the day drift by?

but now i cant stop thinking about waking up in the middle of the night and looking up just to see shadow milk cookies head just staring at you from your ceiling. scary stuff😰

Also, that thought you had I really liked it and I really like creepy/scary stuff, it gave me an idea ehehe.

I know this is not a request and I don't take requests but I wanna draw this so... hope you don't mind that I made some panels where I'm trying to illustrate the "vision" I had with what u have commented.
