Definitely don't imagine him doing the same in the Wayne Manor, except this time he curled around pillow or a small Nightwing plush his brother gifted him. And definitely don't imagine Talia searching for little Damian frantically, only to find Jason, curling around a toddler in his restless dreams. And maybe don't imagine Jason continuing to do the same in the solitude of his apartment, despite being all strong and huge.

After coming to terms with a lot about myself I've found out and accepted that I'm a therian- and that my type is a fallow deer! This was my first real time trying to make an animal mask since elementary school. Hope you guys enjoy!

Regulus Black has this deep urge to tell people stuff.

He obviously he couldn’t tell his parents everything because “You never shut up. You should learn to be more ladylike” so he learned to keep his mouth shut around them.

But he would burst into Sirius’ room all the time just to tell him small, meaningless stuff

“I just stubbed my toe, but then Kreture got me strawberries so i dont care anymore”

”what were to happen if you mix a poison with a growing potion?”

”SIRIUS! A butterfly just flew by my window!!”

”look look look! My socks are fuzzy!” (Andy secretly got them for him)

“siriuuuuuuus, my hair hurts”

“I drew something cool!” (Proceeds to show Siri a drawing of the same thing he’s drawn non-stop for a week and has shown sirius every single time) (“woah reggie thats amazing”)

etc. etc. etc.

like he just has a need to externalize all of his thoughts

so when Sirius left for hogwarts, Reg started writing them all down, and that’s how he got into writing.

by the time Sirius came back for Christmas that year, Reg had filled three notebooks full of just meaningless thoughts

obviously then they had a falling out and Reg hid his emotions even more, and he started writing even more

and thats when the whole emo poetry boy thing started

Eventually (around third year) he felt comfortable enough with the Skittles to tell them his thoughts

so randomly throughout the day he would whisper nonsense to them and they’d just smile at him, knowing that (unless he’s exited) theres no need to answer.

if he is exited than you best fucking believe they’re exited with him

but i just think he needs people to know his thoughts and to validate them. Because if not then are they even real? Like obviously they’re real but do they don’t count if it’s just in his head. They don’t actually exist.

and it’s the same thought process as to why he hides his emotions

if people aren't aware of them they don’t exist

i could keep going into deep thought about this urge and how it relates to his character and his relationships but for the point of this post, which was supposed to be cute, i’ll shut up here.

As I mentioned in yesterday's post, I wanted to ramble about antlers a bit today... just a few random things I've been thinking about X) My antlers are... pretty puny XD They're not nothing, they're just not... much. My doctor says he'd be surprised if they grew anymore. It's 100% my dad's fault, as he doesn't have very big ones either. Which is NOT the case further down the Holiday tree. His dad had HUGE antlers. Like, 12 points on those things. BIG. He passed before I was really old enough to get to know him, but we have his last shed of antlers mounted in our living room... which, okay, I realize if you're not a reindeer that probably sounds weird LOL I'm assuming you all know that every year we all shed our antlers... boys shed them in late fall, and us girls shed in the spring (everyone is always very surprised when I randomly show up at school without antlers XD) So, since we get new ones every year, it's tradition to keep the antlers of at least one of your parents, especially once they're old... a small part of them that lasts forever. That probably still sounds really weird but... idk take it up with our ancestors LOL My antlers would look really dumb mounted up... maybe whoever ends up with them can just keep them in a drawer or something X) There aren't really any other deer in our town, so even with our smaller antlers, us Holiday's are still the cream of the antler crop here XP The only antler competition I've ever had outside of my family is... Kris. They don't have antlers of course, but when we were kids they'd always try to spar my antlers with this horn headband they used to wear like, ALL the time. Even though their horns were just a headband, mine at the time were even smaller than they are now, so... we ended up pretty evenly matched in our sparring XP Maybe someday my antlers will grow more than everyone thinks... but at least for now I can still walk through doors normally XD

Hello! I was reminded of the wonderful puppet you made of Gwen from Spiritfarer, and I was curious; did you ever record you or someone else puppeteering her? I was curious how she'd look in motion! Thanks for your time!

Hiya! I did, unfortunately I had about three days left before presenting her to get her finished so the full puppet you see was constructed in that short window of time (the planning and experimenting with the skeleton took quite a lot longer) so sadly the footage isn't the best.

So the first clip is her head movements, she has a standard mouth plate in her face that lets you manipulate how her muzzle moves (like Kermit ^u^!). Her head isn't attached to allow for a better range of movement and also transportation lol. Her eyes light up too (still do I switched them on recently they still look super cool!) and are operated by a little switch inside the head.

The next couple of clips are of her moving about, featuring my dnd token of Angel to block out my mom who was demonstrating arm and leg movements for me (again time crunch, I would have liked to film her in the Uni studio but I ran out of time :'') ).

When designing her body I was looking at the Timon puppet from Lion King so I tried to replicate the same sort of harness as you can see in my sketchbook scribbles. In the footage of Chloe demonstrating the puppet skeleton you can see she ended up being a little bit too heavy even for the chest harness in the end and when I added fur she got quite a bit heavier ^-^'. I really wish I had more time to experiment with how to make her because I think if I were to do it again I would probably make her entirely out of upholstery or very thin EVA and maybe go for a more stylistic approach maybe making her look more like once of those wooden animal head sculptures?

^ like this. For aesthetic reasons and to save on the weight the puppeteer has to take on. I still might go back to it at some point because I'm stubborn and annoyed I couldn't get her fully operational.

You can see it a bit better in the last two clips but she also has a system of elastic strings running through her arms so that when one arm is pulled the other moves with it like in Big Bird's costume.

That one line in the last 666 installment about "Vox's pillow talk about sharks" is just Vox's hidden nefarious intentions in circling around Alastor so he can pull up a presentation and infodump about sharks for 6 hours straight

He tried this with Val but it probably went somehow like that meme "I lied. We're not having sex. Now put your pants back on and listen about sharks"

Oh, you're gonna LOVE the next installment, hahahahaha.
