Ukraine is now calling for THAAD air defense system, F-18 fighters, MQ-9 drones and helicopters
Fernando Valduga By Fernando Valduga 12/07/2023 - 17:40in Military, War Zones
The latest list of U.S. weapons that Ukraine says it needs to fight the Russian military includes sophisticated air defense systems, F-18 "Hornet" fighters, drones, Apache and Blackhawk helicopters, according to documents seen by Reuters.
Officials from the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense presented a “arms list to meet the needs of Ukraine's defense forces” during a closed-door session of a conference in Washington on Wednesday, with the presence of government officials and defense industry executives.
The comprehensive list included weapons that Ukraine already has in stock, such as Abrams tanks and 155-millimeter artillery, as well as some weaponry, as well as F-16 fighters, drones and long-range ATACMS missiles that it has requested in the past.
But the list has some surprises, including expensive items such as C-17 Globemaster transport aircraft manufactured by Boeing and the C-130 Super Hercules manufactured by Lockheed Martin. Boeing's Apache attack helicopters entered the list, as did the Black Hawk helicopter manufactured by Lockheed Martin's Sikorsky unit.
Tumblr media
THAAD system being disembarked from a C-17.
But the Ukrainians didn't stop there. The documents show that Ukraine is also looking for F-18 Hornet fighters, three types of drones manufactured by General Atomics, including the MQ-9B Sky Guardian and the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) air defense system manufactured by Lockheed.
Ukrainians know that they must guarantee Western military aid to continue the fight.
Legislation that would provide billions of dollars in new security assistance for Ukraine and Israel was blocked in the U.S. Senate on Wednesday, as Republicans pressed their demands for tougher measures to control immigration on the U.S.-Mexico border.
U.S. President Joe Biden made the Ukrainian victory a foreign policy goal while campaigning for re-election in November 2024.
Ukraine's list reflects what would easily be equivalent to billions of dollars in arms purchases or donations.

TODAY LIVE - SPECIAL TIME - 1 PM PT
With Greg L Mullavey Greg Mullavey!
Three years ago I was blessed to zoom with Greg Mullavey, whom I’ve adored for almost 50 years. A HUGE Mary Hartman Mary Hartman fan, I never missed an episode in the days before there were VCRs let alone DVRs. It took effort. MH, MH was sacrosanct. As was Fernwood Forever, led by Tom Hartman, aka Greg Mullavey. Last night, I got to see Greg live on stage for the first time, as Jules Feiffer, in The People VS Lenny Bruce, at the Garry Marshall Theatre, and then, at last, came face to face in the reals with this man and actor, I adore. Greg exceeded my expectations with both.
A true thespian, Greg continues to grace stages from LA to Broadway, recently playing King Lear for the Frog and Peach Theatre Company, co-starring Off-Broadway with Marlo Thomas in Clever Little Lies, and Gaby Hoffman in the Last Seder. His Broadway credits include Rumors and Romantic Comedy. Greg’s appeared in over 100 theatrical productions across the country!
Prior to MH, Greg appeared on TV in everything from Ben Casey, to It Takes A Thief, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Marcus Welby to Mod Squad… and many after, including Centennial, Dynasty, Civil Wars ( a load of others), to recurring roles on Insight, Rituals, The Bold and The Beautiful to iCarly, where my kids loved him. His film work includes Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice,  The Birdmen, The Love Machine, The Disappearance of Flight 412, and The Hindenberg, to name but some.
It’s Greg the human––with social conscience, grace, warmth, compassion, humor, and class, who shines through in life, and no doubt informs his formidable, and varied work.
I’m so grateful to have another opportunity to chat… to get to know more about this very special, supremely talented man. And to pick his brain on how the hell he does it!

How To Disappear Completely
Tumblr media
Summary: Spencer hasn’t heard from reader in a few days, he becomes worried and goes to check on her, but he finds nothing but a letter.
Pairing: Spencer x fem!reader
CW: angst, unhappy ending
WC: 1.2K (pretty short one)
A/N: I basically got this idea with Gideon's letter, I’m gonna write a pt 2 to this so stay tuned! Always feel free to tell me anything I can improve on!
_______________
You had all your stuff packed into 2 suitcases and a bookbag. You folded the letter in half neatly. Writing Spencer on the front, and placing it down on the middle of your coffee table, leaving your phone next to it. You left the door unlocked.
You used all your strength to carry your heavy suitcases and book bag with you as you wafted down the hallway, stopping at door #23, you stared at the door, remembering the first time and the first person you saw in front of it.
“Oh come on! Motherfucker!” You mumbled to yourself as you were trying to turn the key.
A slender tall man with beautiful brown hair and mismatched socks stopped by the apartment door next to yours.
While unlocking his door he saw you struggling with yours.
“Um, do you need some help?” He offered awkwardly
“What?- Oh, yeah, the damn key won’t turn.” You dropped your hands to your sides in defeat.
“Here, let me try, the locks tend to get jammed sometimes. Did you just move in?” He said as he grabbed the key.
“Yeah, last week. What about you?” You crossed your arms and stood against the wall and you watched him try to unlock the door.
“A month and 4 days ago.” You smiled, he remembered exactly how long it’s been since he moved in? Cute.
“There you go, the same thing happened to me the first week I moved in, you just got to give it a few pushes.” He stepped back as the door finally unlocked.
“Oh my god, you’re a lifesaver! Thank you so much…23?” You called him by his door number.
“I’m Spencer.” He smiled
“I’m Alice.” You stuck your hand out and he stared at it.
“I uh, I don’t do handshakes, the number of pathogens passed during a handshake is staggering. It's actually safer to kiss.”
“Okay, well…nice to meet you, Spencer. We should talk again.” You giggled and walked into your apartment.
“O-Okay!” He sputtered out after you shut your door.
You took a deep breath and continued walking down the hallway.
———— Spencer texted you telling you he was flying back and offered to hang out at the cafe tomorrow. You didn’t respond (obviously), he just assumed you were sleeping.
“Final boarding call for flight 412 to Paris, France. The flight will be leaving from Gate 23.” The voice announced on the intercom.
You were already in line waiting, you dropped your two suitcases at the luggage drop-off area they had. You gripped the straps of your bookbag anxiously, you wondered if Spencer had found your letter yet. You felt guilty leaving, but you would’ve felt worse if you hadn’t left a note.
Once you were on the plane and sat down in your seat, you put in your earbuds and clicked shuffle on your playlist. How To Disappear Completely by Radiohead played softly through your earbuds. You leaned your head onto the window, watching the outside turn into a pile of clouds. You closed your eyes.
♪ In a little while, ♪
♪ I'll be gone. ♪
♪ The moment's already passed, ♪
♪ Yeah it's gone, ♪
♪ And I'm not here. ♪
________
The next morning Spencer sent you a few texts asking if you were awake, no response. He decided to call you, no response. He hoped you just had to go to work early today.
He texted and called again later that night, no response. He got worried and decided to go to your door.
He knocked on your door, no response. He called you again and heard your phone buzzing from inside. He opened the door to an empty room. Your furniture was still there, only a single lamp was turned on.
He called out your name a few times. His eyes caught the note on the table. He gulped and sat down, unfolding the note slowly.
Spencer, I knew it would be you to check on me. I’m sorry if I freaked you out, I didn’t mean to. I’ve been trying to find the main reason for what I’m doing, but I can’t. Everything is too confusing right now, nothing makes sense. I just don’t understand any of it anymore, I don’t know what to do really. All I know is that I need to get out. I’m not dead or anything. I just need to go somewhere new. I wish I could explain this better but I don’t know how, and I’m sorry again for that.
Please don’t look for me.
I’m sorry. I love you.        - y/n
A few tears fell down his face and onto the letter, smudging some of the ink. He got up and looked around your apartment. He went into your bedroom, opening the drawers of your dresser, empty, your closet, empty. There was nothing. You were gone. ————
“The three words I hate: I don’t know, I can’t find anything, I’m so sorry Spencer.” Penelope turned from her computer screen and looked at him solemnly.
“It’s okay, you did everything you could, thanks, Penelope.” He tucked in his lips and walked out.
He saw Derek, JJ, and Emily in the office looking at him, waiting for news on if he found out where you were. He shook his head. They all signed.
“She’ll come back, kid.” Derek tried to comfort him, Spencer knew it was a lie.
“This isn’t your fault, Spence.” JJ rubbed his shoulder.
“Don’t beat yourself up over this.” Emily whispered.
Even though the team tried their best to console and cheer him up, it didn’t work. Spencer never got to tell you how he felt about you, how you looked in his eyes, how amazing you were to him. He’ll never get to see you again.
Hotch let him go home early that night. He kept his head down the entire way home until he got to his door. He looked to the one next to him, #22. He remembered how occasionally you two would have to go to work at the same time or leave and get to your apartments at the same time.
You both opened your doors and stepped out at the same time.
“Working early today?” Spencer asked.
“Yup, my boss needs help with this new project we’re doing. All I hope is that I don't pass out at my desk, I hate waking up this early.” You sighed as you locked your door and he did the same.
“Welcome to the club.” He teased. You nudged him with your shoulder, he dramatically winced and you both broke out into a fit of laughter. You talked all the way walking to the subway until you parted ways on different trains to your jobs.
Spencer smiled at the memory for a second while tears brimmed in his eyes, he wanted to go back into your apartment one last time, but he knew it would destroy him if he did. He unlocked his door and walked into his apartment, plopping his satchel on the chair and he sank into the couch. You were gone, forever. He was never going to see you again.

Body paint, huh? (part 1.5 of "This is STUPID idea, but--")
(words: 412)
- I don't even know if I want to hear your idea. - Oh come on! It's not as stupid as it may sound. - you assured him stirring your noodles with the chopsticks. You noticed Tabi's having a lot of difficulites with them, getting more and more annoyed.
- Tabi. - you called him showing him the proper way to hold them. - Just get me a fork or something. - he said putting them on the table. You got up and brought him the item and ate your food in awkward silence.
- So. - he started leaning back on the couch, arm handing from the back piece. - What is your idea, друг (transl: friend) - You will go with me! - you announced joyously. Tabi looked down at you slowly leaning forwards. - Before you say anything! - you added immediately, raising your palms - I can... disguise you. - Disguise? - he said looking at you, his hands supporting his head. - You know-- Since you have an invisible body I could paint over it.. - you stepped back a little, feeling his piercing gaze and murderous smirk. Tabi slowly leaned back again. Your fight-or-flight diode was flashing, distributing massive amounts of adrenaline throughout your body. You were ready to jump off and escape him. - You know... друг, after thinking for a while. - Oh what a tease. He probably sees your absolutely terrified soul. Probably can see droplets of sweat on your forehead. Why is he toying you like that! - It's not a bad idea. - Tabi finished after a long pause. You exhaled catching your heart and bending over. - YOU ALMOST GAVE ME A HEART ATTACK! - you screamed and slapped his arm. He laughed and pat you on the back. He's getting comfortable again with you. After so much time spent alone and planning vengeance-- he has someone whom can trust again.
- Okay, I know one art supply shop in the city, I'll go and see if they provide body paints. I'll be back asap. - you said getting up. - Okay but-- - Tabi tried to catch your hand. He's... gloomy, heavyhearted? - Yeah? What's wrong? - Just... Be back quickly. Okay? And be careful. - he looked at you. - You know me. - you smiled back and left the house. Tabi watched you, leaving on your motorcycle, disappearing behind the bushes. You are always back quickly...

The Disappearance of Fight 412 (1974)
Film review #382
SYNOPSIS: During a routine exercise, a U.S. military aircraft sees three UFOs on it’s radar screen, and two fighter jets are scrambled to intercept them. When the UFOs and the fighter jets disappear from radar, flight 412 is ordered to land and its crew is detained by a special investigations branch, who attempt to convince them that they saw nothing.
THOUGHTS/ANALYSIS: The Disappearance of Flight 412 is a 1974 TV movie. The story is based on the stories of UFO sightings, who knows about them, and how they are covered up. The movie starts off with a narrator recounting people’s experiences with sighting Unidentified Flying Objects in the skies, and their continued unexplanation. You had better get used to hearing the narrator, as they return constantly to explain the story, rather than letting the film speak for itself through the acting and dialogue. That said, I think the aim was to go for a semi-documentary feel, speculating about the nature of UFOs, which at the time had very little explanation or detail. The trouble is, with so little information about UFO sightings, you can’t really convey any information in a documentary style if it simply doesn’t exist.
The story of the film deals with the crew of a military aircraft, who are launching an exercise to try and solve an electrical problem aboard the aircraft. While in the air, they see three unidentified flying objects on their radar, and two additional fighter jets are dispatched to investigate. The jets and the UFOs eventually disappear from the radar, leading to a Special Investigations Division ordering the plane to land and the crew being detained. They are interrogated and the investigators attempt to convince them that they saw nothing on the radar, and there were no jets. Meanwhile the colonel who dispatched the aircraft can’t get into contact with them, and tries to find out what has happened. A lot of the story revolves around dialogue in dimly-lit rooms and back-and-forths between the various divisions of the military and government. Over time it become difficult to follow as everyone really looks and acts the same, and the motive for wanting to cover-up the UFO is never revealed: it is never shown whether they were aliens, top secret military technology or anything like that. Leaving it a mystery is probably more appropriate for the semi-documentary tone, but it does leave the whole experience somewhat pointless without any answers or payoff. The characters are all bland and uninteresting (again, in aims of keeping it down-to-earth (pun intended)), but there’s some more interesting moments when the crew are being detained and - for lack of a better term - psychologically tortured into believing that what they saw did not happen. However, they are too few and far between to make the film interesting overall.
Being a 70′s TV movie you won’t expect a big budget and spectacular special effects, but for a film about UFOs everything does look a little boring. The shots of the cockpit when the aircraft is in the air is clearly done in a studio, and the plot gets even more confusing due to the various offices and locations which different characters are in all look the same. Every scene is also accompanied with some odd lighting which I guess is meant to give dramatic effect, but just makes everything look dark and difficult to differentiate characters and there expressions. While such a semi-documentary might have been an interesting speculation on the nature of UFOs in 1974, The Disappearance of Flight 412 isn’t really of interest today, and as a story it’s pretty dull and devoid of content.

Acute Stress Responses
When faced with a dangerous, frightening, or otherwise highly stressful situation (being called to the principal’s office, having to climb a large wall that’s got spikes on it, knife fighting an assassin with a skull tattoo on their face on the edge of a cliff, etc.) the body, specifically the adrenal medulla, responds by producing a cavalcade of hormones that prepares the body to give a specific response engineered to protect itself from harm. In common animals and humans (and seven different species of aliens, and one of the giant lizards that exists outside of space-time) these responses are binary. They either fight, or they take flight. However, since you are a superhuman, your body is actually equipped with a number of alternative responses that are handy for diffusing any stressful situation you might find yourself in.
Fight First, let’s start with the common ones. The ones that even the regular folk (and that lizard, word to ^^^----^^^ the space-time lizard!) have. When your fight instincts kick in it means you’re prepared to throw down. Sure, you might not actually be powerful enough to fight the thing that’s inducing this response. It might not even make sense to fight. But by golly, you’re gonna fight. You’re gonna drop kick that principal right across his desk, knocking over all of his precious knick knacks and diplomas. You’re going to punch that wall right in the wherever you think its groin would be. You’re going to grab Snipey McSkullface by the neck and hurl him over the side of that cliff. (Don’t worry, he’ll survive. He always does.)
Flight The flight instinct is the overwhelming desire you feel to fake your death and flee the country any time anything slightly inconvenient happens. Over toasted a bagel? Time to start thinking of new names you’d like to have. (Montgomery Ferbernathy is a great name and no one is using it at the moment so there’s a freebie.) Someone breaking into your home? Time to call your travel agent and book a flight around the world, you’re not paid enough to deal with this. Currently being stabbed? Ha nope time to get out of there, call a cab or something. You don’t need that kind of negativity in your life. In a lot of ways fleeing is often the healthiest thing you can do. Don’t deal with things that you don’t want to deal with. Unfortunately though, as a superhero, the healthiest option should also be your last resort. Your job is to save lives, your own self-care be darned.
Here come the extra special ones just for you superheroes out there! (Sorry ^^^----^^^, maybe you should try licking a radioactive meteor and getting some super powers!)
Flex This is similar to fighting but if you do it right you never have to actually lay a hand on the problem you’re facing. You just need to flex, show off your skills, intimidate the problem into leaving you alone. Show that burnt bagel your bulging biceps until it un-toasts itself. Tell that principal that you’re even better at giving detentions than he is. Remind Snipey McSkullface that he’s tried and failed to kill you literally 412 times and that you guys are basically friends at this point.
Flirt That’s right, as a superhero you have the unique ability to seduce your way out of any problem. There’s not a problem out there that you can’t bat your eyelashes and wink away. Start telling that large wall that it’s really strong and handsome. Ask the person stabbing you if they’d like to grab coffee sometime. Tell the person breaking and entering into your home that you’ve never someone pick a lock quite like that and you’d really like to take them on a trip to Barcelona. Remember, confidence is key here, if you throw caution to the wind and ask Snipey McSkullface to marry you, I promise you that you crazy kids are gonna be able to figure it all out.
Fiesta If you ever find yourself in trouble you can just start a party and I guarantee you the problem will just disappear. Cornered by hyenas? Pull those maracas out of your utility belt. Standing directly in the radius of a falling nuclear bomb? Throw some confetti in the air. Being held hostage by Snipey McSkullface’s waaaaay more competent older sister, Sasha McSkullface? Better have your support-squad airdrop a mariachi band. When life’s problems have got you down, buckle down, plant your feet, roll up your sleeves, put on a sombrero, and throw yourself a party while the world burns around you.

MASTERLIST
This was the first time you spent so much time apart. Usually it was just a couple of weeks but this time It had already been a month without him. A month you had spent alone in your house in Kingston. You missed Tom so much, his laugh, his kisses, his cuddles, everything. But he was all across the ocean in New York filming his Spiderman movie. You couldn’t he more proud of him but that didn’t make it easier.
“What’s wrong babe?” He asked while you two Facetimed. Usually there was no way to keep your mouth shut but that day you barely said a word.
“Mm? Nothing, I’m okay” you half smiled.
“(Y/N) if you don’t want to tell me you don’t have to but don’t lie to me” he asked you.
You bite your lip and looked away from the camera. He knew you way too well to trick him. You knew that. Still, you didn’t want him to know about your sadness. He had to be focused, not being worried about his needy girlfriend so you took a deep breath and faked a smile before looking back at the camera.
“Everything’s okay!” You said. “I was just thinking about some stuff I have to get done tomorrow. Sorry” you lied. “How are you? How’s the movie going?” You asked.
Then he started talking about the scenes he had been shooting, how he tried to do all the stunts even though it could be dangerous or tiring he just loved it. The rush, the adrenaline and everything. He was so excited talking about the shooting that you didn’t have to talk much. Before you noticed he was called back on set so you two said your goodbyes and hung up. It was 3 a.m. for you, so you just went to the bathroom and to bed straight away, praying you got some sleep.
The next few days were more of the same. Tom called you every time he had some time off between takes to catch up with you and if, for some reason, you weren't available, he would leave a text or a voicemail. He tried to sound cheerful but the truth was that he was worried about you. He had noticed the change in your attitude during the last few days, he had tried to make you talk about it but you kept on saying you were okay. He knew you were lying but being so far from there was nothing he could do.
“You okay?” Harrison asked him while they were going back to the hotel after another day of shooting. “You’ve been distracted today” he added.
“I’m fine…” Tom mumbled looking down at his phone. It was late in London so you were probably asleep but he had barely heard from you that day.
“Sure?” Harrison insisted. Tom sighed and looked at his friend.
“Something is wrong with (Y/N)” he finally said. “She’s been acting weird lately but she won’t tell me what’s wrong. She just keeps on saying that everything is okay, that she’s just tired”
“Maybe she is?” Hazz suggested.
“No. I know her better than that” Tom frowned. “I think this distance thing is starting to affect her” Harrison frowned and nodded.
“It is affecting you as well right?” He asked. Tom chuckled sadly.
“Yeah… Damm, I miss her so much Hazz” Tom said leaning his head against the seat.
“Why don’t you take a few days off?” He asked.
“I tried. They won’t let me at least for another month” Tom said.
“That sucks” Harrison mumbled.
“Tell me about it” Tom sighed.
His friend patted his leg not knowing what to say or do to make him feel any better.
On the other side of the world you were going insane. Even talking to Tom was becoming a torture knowing there was no way to reach to him, to touch him. You didn’t know what to do and you knew he just couldn’t come. His work wouldn’t allow it. You spent hours looking at flights to New York. You had to go there, you just couldn’t keep on telling him that everything was okay when you were breaking inside. The prices were crazy. Way too expensive. You did have the money but paying that amount would mean a lot of extra hours next month. Was it worth it?
Tom was going completely crazy. Even Harrison was worried about his best friend. He barely left his hotel room, just to film the movie. He wanted to do nothing, he would just stare at the phone loginly, waiting for your reply all the time, even when he knew it was 4 a.m. in London and you were completely asleep.
“Man, this has to stop” he finally told his friend during an afternoon they had off.
“What?” Tom said looking up from his phone where Harrison could ser a photo of you.
“You have to see her. You have to go to London even if it’s just for two days but you can’t keep on going like this” Harrison said.
Tom frowned and looked down at his phone, he hadn't heard from you since the previous evening and he knew you were still awake. He had been texting you but it was like those texts just got lost in the air, like you weren’t getting them. It was driving him crazy. What if something happened to you? He gulped and looked at Harrison.
“You’re right” he said getting up “I have to get on the next plane to England” he added grabbing his laptop.
“What?” Harrison frowned. As much as he agreed on this idea he knew It would have awful consequences if he just disappeared from a shooting. “Tom, wait. You can’t just leave” he said.
“What?” Tom asked looking up. “You’ve just told me to go!”
“And I want you to but you just can’t disappear! You’re Spiderman!” he tried to explain.
“I’m something more important: I’m what (Y/N) needs right now” he said. Harrison knew there was nothing he could do. He had seen that look on Tom's face before and he knew there was nothing he could say to change his friend's mind.
“Okay, I’ll call the director and make something up” Harrison said, earning a thankful look from Tom.
Meanwhile you were going insane trying to find a taxi that would tale you from JFK to Tom's hotel. You still couldn’t believe you had literally crossed the ocean to see him just for a few days but knowing you were in the same state as him and that you would be seeing him soon, made you feel better instantly. You hadn’t spoke yo him since yesterday and you were dying to but seeing him and seeing his face when you showed up at his door was more important.
Finally you managed to find a taxi and told the driver to take you to the hotel as fast as he could. As you were heading towards the city you turned on your phone just to find it with plenty of calls and messages from your boyfriend. Biting your lip you chuckled, he was probably climbing up the walls, trying to figure out why you weren’t answering.
It took you almost 30 minutes and almost 40$ to get to the hotel but after all there you were, standing in the middle of the hall, just minutes away from seeing Tom again. The problem was that you didn’t even know his room number. You took out your phone and was about to calle Harrison when you heard a familiar voice behind you.
“I know, I know it’s not the best time but-“ you turned around and saw Harrison talking on the phone. Perfect timing.
“Harrison!” You exclaimed.
He looked in your direction. The moment he realised it was really you, his eyes opened widely, he said something on the phone and hang up walking over you.
“What the fuck?” He said making you laugh. “You… you’re here!” He finally exclaimed happily before hugging you tight. “What are you doing here?”
“I needed to see Tom” you basically said. “I’ve been having a hard time lately with this distance thing and I just couldn’t keep on waiting” you smiled a little. “I’m crazy right?” You added with a blush.
“No. You’re perfect for him” he smiled widely before hugging you again. “You literally saved him” he chuckled. “Go. Room 412” he told you.
You took the keycard he was offering you as you wondered what he meant by saving Tom. But you didn’t have time to ask anything. Tom was just there. Immediately you sneaked into an elevator quickly and pressed the 4th floor button. It looked like the slowest elevator ever but finally you were out and soon you found the room. Suddenly you felt nervous out of nowhere. Yes, you had been waiting for this since he left England but what if coming without saying anything was a mistake?
Well, there wasn’t time to question your actions. Without thinking about it any further you slipped the card and opened the door. The first thing you saw was a suitcase on the floor full of clothes. You frowned and closed the door behind you, leaving your luggage by the door.
“What did the director said?” You heard Tom's voice coming out of the bathroom. “Am I screwed? Fired?” He asked. You smiled a little but said nothing. Why would he be fired though? “Harrison?”
And just then his curly hair showed up, looking at the room, expecting to see Harrison there. When he found the room empty he walked out of the bathroom. You bite your lip, trying not to laugh, as you took in the view. He was shirtless, wearing just a pair of grey sweatpants that were hanging low on his hips. Completely confused, he turned around, finally facing the door and finally seeing you there. He stopped on his tracks, staring at you speechless, like he had just seen a ghost.
It wasn’t possible, you just couldn’t be there, it made no sense at all. You were in England, working and studying your máster, there was no way you could be there in New York, standing in front of him with that innocent smile that used to drive him crazy.
“Surprise?” You finally said with a smile.
Then it hit him. It wasn’t a dream, he didn’t need help, you were there. He took the few steps necessary to get to you and then wrapped his arms around you as tight as he could, not saying a single word. You were there, he was holding you. For the first time in a long time you felt at home once again, like everything was right in the world and you were exactly where you were supposed to be.
“You’re here” he mumbled pulling away to look down at you.
You bite your lip and nodded still smiling. Suddenly, a smile appeared on his face, brighter than ever before and all he did was taking your face in his hands and crashing your lips together in a passionate and tender kiss. Your arms went immediately around his neck, to pull his hair and pull him closer to you. He bite your lip, sending a shiver down your spine and making you moan as you let his tongue invade your mouth. Eventually, your lungs cried for air so you forced yourself to pull away but he wouldn’t let you go. He placed his forehead against yours and sighed relieved.
“I love you so much” he whispered. You teared up a little when you heard those words and kissed him again briefly.
“And I love you” you replied. He smiled and hugged you tight, still afraid that this was just a dream. “I have a question” you asked rubbing his bare back. He hummed and kissed your shoulder before looking at you. “Where you going anywhere?”
He laughed and looked at the suitcase before picking you up and carrying you to bed where he put you down before laying down on your top.
“Let’s just say I was desperate to see you” he said taking in your features. You were about to talk but he shut you up with a kiss. “We can talk later. Now I need you”
And you weren’t going to say no to him.

Karabük’ün İngilizce Tanıtımı
Karabük’ün İngilizce Tanıtımı Area: 1.376 km² Population: İlçe 142.569, kent 94.818 (1985) Traffic Code: 78 The province of Karabük is located in the Western Black Sea Region, and is a tourism paradise with its historical Safranbolu houses and ancient cities. Karabük carries the rightful honor of representing the industrialization process in the history of the Turkish Nation. In the first years of the Republic, as a result of the revolution decision of the Great Leader Atatürk on the manner of industrialization, Karabük province was chosen for the foundation of the first integrated iron – steel facility of Turkey, because of its proximity to the mine coal catchment area and to the shoreline, because the province is located on the route of railway and because of its strategic convenience. Districts: Karabük (Center) , Eflani, Eskipazar, Ovacık, Safranbolu, Yenice Safranbolu Safranbolu is a town boasting a glorious collection of old Ottoman houses, with a rich collection of pieces of art which represent traditional Turkish life and culture. Its rich history and success in preserving it earned the town an inclusion on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Best known for its old Turkish houses, the town is attracting more attention especially as these 19th century homes are gradually disappearing from other areas of Turkey. Visitors enjoying walking along the old narrow cobbled streets, and seeing some of the traditional crafts and trades that are still practised today. It is also known as the Capital City of Preservation, acknowledging its ability to hold onto not only pieces of art, but also the atmosphere. Climate The climate in Safranbolu is a combination of the Black Sea and Central Anatolia. The summers are hot, winters are cold, spring and autumn are tepid and cool and very long. History Previously known as Paphlagonia, Safranbolu took its name from saffron and has hosted many different civilisations in its history including Romans, Byzantines, Seljuks and Ottomans. It was conquered by the Turks in 1196. The town reached its economic and cultural peak during the Ottoman Empire, partly because its position as an important stop on the Istanbul to Sinop trade route in the 17th century improved the commerce and wealth of the region. During this period it had close relations with Istanbul and Kastamonu, and state officials from the Ottoman Palace had important pieces of art in Safranbolu. The wealthy inhabitants of the town built large houses made from wood and stucco, many of which still survive. During the 19th century nearly 25% of the population were Ottoman Greeks, who left after World War I. How to Get By Road Safranbolu is accessible by bus, although most go from Karabuk 10km south and there is a regular dolmus service that shuttles between the two. From here there are regular services to Ankara (4 hours) and Istanbul (5 hours). Kirankoy is the modern part of Safronbolu and most buses will stop here. Karabuk Bus Station Tel: (90 370) 412 89 93 By Rail The nearest station is at Karabuk, with a daily train stopping here going from Ankara to Zonguldak. By Air The nearest air connection is 240km south at Ankara’s Esenboga Airport, with flights to all parts of Turkey. Esenboğa Airport Tel: (+90 312) 398 00 00. Where to Visit The town is best know for its old Turkish houses and has numerous pieces of art, of which over a thousand are under protection. There are two distinct areas: Carsi is the old area of town, to the south, and location of most of the winter houses, whereas Baglar has the summerhouses. Between them is Kirankoy, famous for the Greek houses that display more top quality masonry, and home to the Greek population until the early 20th century. The area of most interest to the visitor is in Carsi, seen from the castle in the north, also known as Eski Safranbolu. Hidirlik Hill to the south is the location of two monuments, and was used as an open-air venue for rituals in previous centuries. Some of the area’s most interesting historical locations are the castle and surroundings, which was the initial settlement area; the Old Government Building; a 200-year old clock tower still in working order; and the jailhouse, now disused. Within the city there are 25 mosques with historical importance, the most famous of which are Koprulu Mehmet Pasa, and Sultan III. These were constructed by Selim’s Grand Vizier, Izzet Mehmet Pasa. The newly restored Cinci Hani, the most famous building in the old part of town, is a caravanserai dating back to 1645. Next to that is Cinci Hamami, still working today with separate baths for men and women, with a marble interior and strong light coming in from the domed roof. Both were constructed by Cinci Hoca, from Safranbolu. The business and commerce of the town are kept as close to the traditional means as possible, and goods are made and sold in the bazaars like Yemeniciler Arastasi. Iron, copper and tin are crafted in traditional means, and the Packsaddle Maker’s Bazaar has preserved the craft in the city. Outside Safranbolu Safranbolu has impressive areas of natural beauty in addition to its historical and architectural interest. Areas of dense forest, canyons and valleys all offer other activities such as trekking, mountaineering and cycling, as well as the more gentle activity of picnics. Places of interest outside the town include Ancekaya Aqueduct and canyon, the houses of Yoruk Village, Bulak and Hizar Caverns, Hacilarobasi, Ucboluk and its surrounding rock tombs, Duzce Canyon, Saricicek Plateau and Uluyayla. YörükVillage Yoruk Koyu, 11km east of Safranbolu, is a village of old houses and the feel of an open-air museum. The houses, most of which are affluent, and streets are under protection and are in good condition. Highlights include Kaymakcioglu Konagi, Sipahiler Konagi, Ahsap Cami and Camasirhane, which is a restored art gallery. There is a couple of relaxing restaurants set within shady gardens. NATIONAL and NATURAL PARKS Safranbolu has impressive natural beauties besides historical piece of arts and houses. Dense forest areas, canyons and valleys are maintaining possibilities for other touristic activities such as trekking, mountaineering and cycle as much as it is appropriate for picnic. Incekaya Aqueduct and canyon, marvelous houses having Yörük Village, Bulak and Hizar Caverns, Hacılarobası and Üçbölük Village surrounding Rock Tombs, Düzce Canyon, Sariçiçek Plateau and Uluyayla, Gürleyik Picnic Area are the other tourism areas of the city. MUSEUM HOUSES Many of the oldest houses have been made into museums by cultural departments, and most have attractive tea gardens. Kileciler Evi is one of the best, and has been restored and organised by the Ministry of Culture as a good example of an old Safranbolu house and its lifestyle. Other well known ones are Mumtazlar Konagi (Mansion with pool) and Karauzumler Evi. What to Eat There are many places to eat in town, most of which serve traditional Turkish and Ottoman food, and the most atmospheric are restaurants inside the restored houses. Some of these also have live traditional music, and those around the Carsi area are livelier especially during summer evenings. Almost as famous as the Ottoman houses are the sweets, with many shops selling locally made yaprak helvasi, which is layers of helva with walnuts. What to Buy Traditional handicrafts are still widely produced in Safranbolu, especially copper and yemeni, a special type of shoe, which can be bought in the Bakircilar bazaar. Souvenirs are widely available in the Carsi district and Arasta, including goods made in the nearby town of Kastamonu like textiles, wood, leather and ceramics. Don’t Leave Without Enjoying the view from the top of Hidirlik Hill, Visiting the museum houses, Visiting Incekaya Aqueduct and Yoruk Village, Staying in a restored house, Eating the local sweets, Listening to traditional music in the evenings. Today, Live! Greg L Mullavey, Greg L Mullavey. I can't even. I've adored this man for 41 + years. To at last have the opportunity to sit face to virtual face and get to know the Greg behind the Tom Hartman, Tom Hartman is beyond thrilling.
In 1977 before there were VCRs (DVRs for you youngins) we had to actually watch shows in real-time - Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman was on five days a week (325 episodes), 10 pm Tucson time, where I was I was in a rep company and it took effort to not miss one show, not ever. MH, MH was sacrosanct. As was Fernwood Forever (130 episodes) which it morphed into. The fact that all of those shows ( 455 episodes) aired between 1976- 1978 and to have nary missed a one, well, that’s love… and devotion to brilliance and hilarity. Thank you, Norman Lear and company.
Greg did many television appearances prior to MH, from Ben Casey, to It Takes A Thief, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Marcus Welby to Mod Squad, just to name a few… and many after, Centennial, Dynasty, Civil Wars ( a load of others) to recurring roles on Insight, Rituals, The Bold and The Beautiful to iCarly and has appeared on and off-Broadway and in over 100 theatre productions across the USA. His film work includes Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice, The Birdmen, The Love Machine, The Disappearance of Flight 412, and The Hindenberg, to name some.
Lovely in the reals does not begin to describe Greg. With social conscience and a load of grace, I’m excited almost beyond compare. This sit-down has been a long time coming. Do I feel blessed. Bring it on!

Man Utd’s slow start a concern and there’s no place like home for Aguero – 10 things we learned
Another weekend with Premier League action resulted in another round of important discussion points, with many question marks around the form from some of the Big Six.
Chelsea Manchester United Tottenham and Arsenal failed to win – albeit with the last two playing an engaging 2-2 draw in The Emirates on Sunday afternoon.
There was also enough to draw more attention to the table, with both West Ham and Leicester achieving impressive victories in their attempt to break the monopoly at the top of the tree.
Here HARRY SLAVIN of Sportsmail gets 10 things out of the last round of competitions …
Arsenal pays the fine with Xhaka
Exactly what is it with Granit Xhaka and crazy challenges?
The Arsenal midfielder made another one in his own area on Sunday afternoon to give Harry Kane the chance to score from the spot after catching Son Heung-min with a reckless outburst.
It is something Gunners fans should get used to. Since its debut in the Premier League in August 2016, no player has given away more spot-kicks than the Swiss international.
That mistake on Sunday made it five awarded in three years. So far, only Crystal Palace & # 39; s Luka Milivojevic has given away more errors.
Tammy & # 39; s king of England strikers
Frank Lampard may be a bit under pressure after a less than convincing start to the season, but his youngsters seem to flourish positively in the top flight.
No one has had a better chance under the new Chelsea boss than Tammy Abraham, who took his third and fourth goal against Sheffield United on Saturday afternoon.
It is a huge boost for a young striker whose ability to crack the top flight has been questioned after his disappointing spell in Swansea two seasons ago.
Really, although its shape should not come as a surprise. Following his loan period in the championship last season at Aston Villa, Abraham has scored more goals than any other English player who has been in the top two flights of English football since the start of the 2018-1919 season.
Take that form in Europe, and Gareth Southgate can even shatter his Euro 2020 plans.
No English striker in the upper two layers of England has had more goals than Abraham since August 2018
Villa must take away the misery of the day
There was a general agreement between penalties and fans that Aston Villa might be heavily burdened on Saturday afternoon.
Seeing Henri Lansbury's last-minute strike for an observed dive by Jack Grealish was a difficult decision to swallow for Dean Smith and his side, but they really can't afford to engage in self-pity to roll over.
Tha goal deprived them of a valuable point of view, something that Villa desperately found difficult to come along in the top flight.
In fact, after their inverted Selhurst Park, they have now disappeared 20 Premier League away games without registering a single win, with only three draws in the process.
Red pair not only combines defensive dynamos on Merseyside
We now all know the devastating duo of full-backs that Liverpool has in the form of Andy Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold .
But across the road to Goodison Park, with their own defensive dynamo.
Lucas Digne founded the winner of Richarlison in a pulsating collision between Everton and Wolves on Sunday afternoon, doing his sixth assist since the start of last season.
The Frenchman is now directly involved in 10 Premier League goals at that time – when you add his four goals to the comparison.
Alexander-Arnold (15) and Robertson (11) are still at the forefront, but Digne proves that attack-focused defenders do not live purely in Anfield.
Lucas Digne has been involved in more goals than all two Premier League Defenders
Cherries are still being picked too often
It is safe to say that watching Bournemouth in the top flight over the last 12 months has been value for money. Not that Eddie Howe will feel that he gets a lot for his money.
Premier League goals in their games since the start of the previous campaign. The only problem for the Cherries is that most of them are at the end of their performance.
Saturday provider is no exception to the rule, as Howe & # 39; s men participated in a pulsating collision with Leicester City and eventually dropped 3-1 at the King Power Stadium.
Those four strikes brought the total number of goals in Bournemouth games to 139 since August 2018.
However, with 78 of them wrong, at least as far as they are concerned, rediscovering the art from a cleansheet will be the priority of the international break.
There is no place as home for Sergio
There are no two ways; Sergio Aguero loves the Etihad
From the moment he landed the title with the most famous goal in the history of the Premier League, the Argentinian has affinity with the place where he is rarely matched by players and stadium.
On Saturday afternoon, he took a few steps in the direction of another piece of history thanks to his two attacks on Brighton, bringing his 98th and 99th top strikes to the ground. He only needs one more for a very special milestone.
Only Thierry Henry and Wayne Rooney have better records on one ground, with the pair 114 and 101 on Highbury and Old Trafford respectively.
Aguero will view the century against Watford on September 21.
Sergio Aguero is just a goal away from a century of home strikes for Manchester City
Goals of the back of a Schar thing in Newcastle
With Salomon Rondon and Ayoze Perez both left St. James & Park this summer, fans wondered where on earth the goals would come from.
It appears that they did not have to worry.
The answer has apparently been under their noses all the time, apparently in the form of Fabian Schar.
T he internatinal Switzerland drove forward from the center on Saturday afternoon to grab the most important equalizer against Watford to give Steve Bruce his first home point as Toon boss.
It was Schar & # 39; s fifth Premier League strike in 2019 – more than any current member of the Newcastle team.
Fabian Schar scored more goals for Newcastle in 2019 than any current Team member
Hamers finally made a quick start
At this stage last season, West Ham fans remained scared of a rotten season.
Four Premier League games had come and disappeared, defeat each of them and left West Ham on the table.
Some fans may fear a repeat after the disastrous opening day defeat by Manchester City, but things seem to have changed for the better at London Stadium.
A 2-0 w in more than Norwich City has left the side of Manuel Pellegrini with seven points from four games and dreamed of a challenge for Europe.
Given that they needed seven games last season to reach the same number, you can see where the new optimism comes from.
Slow start of concern for Solskjaer
A month is a long time in football. Manchester United started the season as a house on fire against Chelsea. Now it already looks buzzy.
Saturday's draw against Southampton revealed the problems of a worn-out team and the difficulty of relying on youth.
Like the United season as a whole, the strong start at St Mary & # 39; s Stadium faded quickly and Southampton did not flatter in the least.
Ole Gunnar left that stalemate in Solskjaer with only five points and a record that you would rather not have.
The five points represent one of the poorest starts of Manchester United for a Premier League campaign. Not since 1992-93, the inaugural year of the competition, United has collected fewer points after four games.
Next, Sir Alex Ferguson's side had only four points after their opening quartet of collisions. Of course United won the title that season.
You suspect that Ole's goals for this season will be slightly more conservative.
