(Jimmy portrayed as Eurasier, a breed that requires lots of love and affection and gets easily depressed when holed up in one space, and is a relative of a dog bred specifically to give people warmth. Martyn is a Jack Russell Terrier, a breed that is often stubborn, mischievous and difficult to train)

"Your brother really wanted to be Batman didn't he"
From Stargirl: the lost children #2 (2023) by Geoff Johns and Todd Nauck
We all know Green Arrow started as a rip-off Batman, but sometimes I feel like this treatment he gets is kind of unfair, many characters started "ripping-off" something in a way (especially cross publishers), so ok Ollie had a whole insane rogue gallery and gadgets much like Batman, but he became something else with time, however there's always a joke like this one once in a while, I'm not a die hard fan of Ollie, it just occurred to me, I actually like the fact that he has the crazy gadgets and an Arrow cave
Arrow cave - there's so much to unpack here
First: who is the artist Ollie is paying for all those life-size dolls of his allies and foes? Is this the same artist who made Superman's mannequin room full of Lois Lanes? Is there a very rich artist in the DC universe specialized in creating life-size dolls for superheros?
Also: why are there some ethnic variations of Green Arrow's costumes on the background? When was the sombrero costume used? And when will we be seeing Ollie wearing that animal print bodysuit? Questions I need answers for DC

SMASH COMICS #14 (September, 1940). Cover by Gill Fox.
This issue presented the origin and first appearance of The Ray, one of Quality Comics' powerhouse superheroes.
The Ray first appears, albeit without pants. He would have those in the next issue, but then mysteriously be missing his distinct head fin. Art by Lou Fine, who signed his work on The Ray "E. Lectron."
The Ray would later become more well known as a member of the Freedom Fighters in Justice League of America (vol. 1) #107 (October, 1973), almost two decades after DC Comics had acquired all of Quality's characters when that company went out of business in 1956.
