mmmm but who loves fireworks and who doesn’t?? i feel like a certain few would enjoy setting them off (cough cough dew and swiss cough cough)

since they're so often on stage they're probably all at least neutral on fireworks, just with very different attitudes

dew loves setting them off because of the inherent danger; he loves getting to be in charge of these big volatile things, loves being the skilled one, loves the sense of duty. he's real solemn when it comes to fire, it's when he really feels like a demon

similarly cumulus is a big fan of the theatricality of it all, she'd definitely wear shiny stuff so she could sparkle along with the fireworks

swiss and the other multis, on the other hand, are there for the chaos. and of course, since fireworks are kind of synonymous with celebrations, they love them even more! they're party ghouls 100% and swiss puts aurora and sunny on his shoulders so they can get a better look

i feel like rain would really like the light show, but not the noise; he'd prefer observing from afar, maybe from the comfort of a warm room, in complete darkness. buuut i also feel like he'd love going swimming during a firework show, just submerging himself and watching the colors shimmer over the water

similarly, phantom isn't all that fond of the noise, but the excitement of everything kinda whips him into a frenzy so it's all cool. i also feel like he'd be great at setting them off, he'd make these complex circuits that run all across the ministry grounds and really turn it into a show. mountain and cirrus would help him set it all up, they'd get real creative together :)

i’ve started babysitting for a VERY christian family which is great because they pay me a lot of money but as someone who was raised almost completely agnostic it’s kind of insane. the 2 year old keeps asking me to read her stories from the bible. (why are we reading david and goliath to a 2 year old????) the 5 year old told me today that he was going to bring his legos to heaven with him. he also has repeatedly told me that the lego spaceships he builds are stronger than jesus. (not sure what to say to that. do i deny it??? are things allowed to be stronger than jesus??) had to stop myself mid sentence today because i almost told them im not going to heaven which would DEFINITELY have caused several meltdowns. they’re also both completely fascinated by my nose ring

i’m gonna cry it’s raining right now and i just passed by a family where both parents were without an umbrella but their kid who couldn’t have been older than like 3-4 was proudly holding this GIANT umbrella whose diameter was as tall (if not taller) as the kid. both the parents were getting absolutely drenched but u could tell the kid was just so happy to have an “adult” task and carry the umbrella themselves and i think that sacrifice is what love is all about
