You gently knocked on the door, causing your boyfriend's voice to hush as you stepped inside. He turned his chair around, fixing his gaze upon you.

“Heyyy, we were just streaming you know.” You chuckled, “Who's 'we'? You're on your own,” he frowned, letting out a dramatic sigh.

“First, you interrupt my stream... then you insult me?!” Smiling, you took a seat beside him. “Yes, actually.”

“Yeah, crazy crazy, anyways, I was just on discord, I banned three people because of their horror edits,” he smirked, clearly proud. “Oh? Were the edits that bad?”

Sighing, he switched tabs to show you an edit of him as a rat. Unable to contain your laughter, you burst out laughing, watching as he kept a straight face. “It isn't funny,” he remarked.

Calming down, you pointed to the screen. “If it isn't funny, then why is the chat losing it right now?” He turned away dramatically and put on a sad face.

Proving him wrong, you began reading out comments from the fans.

“Yeah, we're not doing this today,” he said, taking control of the Discord as he scrolled down to find better edits, until one caught your eye.

“Wait, look at that one,” you said, pointing at the screen. “It's us.” He smiled, clicking on it and settling back in his chair.

The edit started off with a cute clip of you two, then transitioned into a compilation of more moments.

It was a simple yet adorable edit that had you smiling as you looked over at Aj, who couldn't contain his smile or blush either.

Not muttering a word, he quickly switched tabs to check the chat. “W edit, W edit,” he commented.

Smirking, you decided to tease him about this. “Awh, is someone blushing?” you giggled. “Shut up,” he grinned.

Gazing over at the chat, you looked at the fan comments consisting of “AWHH” or “THEY'RE SO CUTE,” making you smile.

It seemed your boyfriend had read the comments too because he looked over at you, leaned in, and softly kissed your cheek.

“Love you,” he muttered quietly, looking at his screen as his face was tinted a light shade of red. “Love you too.”

You sighed. Not want to argue anymore but also grimacing at the disgusting outer outside interior. "I'm sorry (Friend's name) but this literally looks like we are about to be sold meth".

Your friend rolled her eyes before opening the door to the bar. Now, it wasn't so bad, the stairs down into the small basement; there was a small bar in the corner, then a "stage" on the otherside of the wall.

"There's my number one fan!".

You both turn around to see a tall white haired man, he was... hot but there was a vibe that gave 'I will literally suck you dry, mentally and physically'. You smiled awkwardly, while your friend gave the guy a crushing hug.

"Ah first name basis already? Wow this was is different Satoru".

You made eye contact with a longed hair, pierced face man. He gave you a small smile then re focus his attention to Satoru.

Satoru dramatically sighed, "it's a form of ART, this takes time.... Greece wasn't made in a day".

You heard Shoko snickered behind you, your face turned a small hint of red.

Going outside, Shoko opens the back door of the van, inviting you inside.

The inside wasn't what you were expecting, it was an older model for sure, seating around the windows, red rugging, alot of red.

"Cozy".

She hummed. Grabbing a ciggerate and flickering the lighter a few times before lighting. She offers you a ciggerate but you polity decline. "Sorry I don't smoke-".

"Don't apologize... it's a bad habit".

The silence between the two of you was awkward, well for at least on your end.

You awkwardly laughed, "the outer exterior of the van doesn't do the inside justice".

"What's wrong with my van?".

"Oh no! I didn't mean it like that!"

Shoko laughed, "I'm kidding, I know it's a shit box, Satoru found it on Facebook and nagged me and Suguru to buy pitch in and buy it... fucker is a nepo baby....".

"Now that you mention it, he doesn't seem like the singing type-".

"Oh god, he can't sing, but he and Suguru can yell... to be honest, I think your friend and others just come to see Satoru and his looks. "

The silence was comforting now, Shoko gets out of the van, "Welp, I'm bored. Let's see what those freaks have been doing". She grabs your hand, helping you out of the van.

Before you and Shoko enter the bar, she puts her lighter in your hand, "You should come to practice more often, kinda nice not being the only girl."

One day, miraculously on the last day of summer, yall find the mirror and that twst boy is sent back after yall promise to find each other again. Maybe like a years later(idk imagine time runs differently there) you’re getting ready for bed and you wake up in that coffin.

Something something and you end up starting your first day at NRC. Yayyyy!!!! And when you meet the twisted wonderland guy, at first glance yall immediately know each other and yall are just being cute and everyone who knows you is like “HUH???” Imagine meeting Ace and he can’t bully you cause oh no that’s his idiot. Meeting riddle and he immediately calms down. Meeting Lilia and silver is just like “huh.” Or it could be the other way around. Ruggie seeing Leona all soft and he’s just like “when???!?!!??” It’s such a funny concept to me cause imagine you and Ace are together and your friends are like “Ace how did you pull on the first day” and before Ace can stroke his ego you just say “he stuttered 15 times trying to ask me out”

OH OH imagine meeting Vil and he’s like “and who is- oh hello dear- and WHAT-???” Vil tenderly holding you as the rest of the VDC group is just shocked that Vil mr popular had a lover. Or any of Octavinelle thinking it’s a bit strange that one of them is really good at walking since they don’t believe either of them when they said they went to the human world for the entire summer. Jade or Floyd just think the other explored the ocean the entire summer idk—

Jamil angst a bit cause he thought the one he loved would never be here again and feels slightly betrayed when they ask for help from Azul of all people. But just appreciates them entirely either way cause yeah. If you’re dating either of the overblot boys I guarantee they aren’t gonna let you get in the way and might keep you at a distance while you try to help your friends. (Yum favoritism)

Or dating one of the RSA boys so imagine their shock when Chen’ya kisses you at an Unbirthday party when he steals some food. Or Neige hugging you and saying all kinds of honeyed words with heart eyes as he sees you again. Is a bit sad you’re in NRC.

He keeps you in the bell tower to try and not get you hurt but you end up accidentally falling with the others. Yadda yadda, you stay with Trein even if you’re the most stubborn person on the planet, and you eventually pull him to the side before Malleus can do his whole ‘imagine losing to me lmao’ thingy ig. And the two of you talk but you two eventually just love and care for the other and when you leave the others are asking if y’all broke up to which you reply “um… nuh uh.” While holding a letter from Rollo so you two can write to each other (he texted while he cans and calls you but he likes to send letters since he thinks it’s romantic and reminds him of the love letter he gave you in the summer in your world.)

This is a fun lil drabble I wrote based on @memento-rory ‘s Jarvis Johnson x reader fic. I love both him and Jordan’s friendship so much, so I thought it’d be fun to imagine how Jordan would react to the growing relationship.

Thank you Rory for letting me write this 🥺 It was a fun way to get back into writing and I absolutely love your stories!

When Jarvis reached out to you for the first time, Jordan was immediately down for the idea. He remembered occasionally talking to you at parties and creator events before your breakup and thought you were a kind and funny person.

On their way to the first hangout, he made a passing comment to Jarvis of “Do I smell hurt/comfort wattpad story?”

They both chuckled at it, neither giving it much thought.

It’s after they start dating that Jordan brings it up again but more on that later.

Jordan picks up on the blossoming connection relatively quickly (a month) but doesn’t say anything outside of passing jokes. While he doesn’t know you super well, he DOES know Jarvis, and he trusts that he’ll realize his feelings and make the best choice for himself.

As the hangouts happen more and more, occasionally Jordan will just watch how you and Jarvis interact, a small smirk as he sees just how you both open up and bring the best out of one another. He also fights the urge to giggle at how cute the two of you are when one stumbles over their words or does something a bit embarrassing.

The SECOND Jarvis realizes he has feelings for you (which would likely be during when the big hangouts dwindle down to small hangouts), Jordan becomes both their #1 supporter and #1 hater

Sure, he’s the one that kept telling Jarvis to hang out with you alone, to make a move, and share his feelings.

BUT immediately starts eye rolling and sighing in an over dramatic fashion when Jarvis tells him about how it went, describing your cute mannerisms and vent about how just how much he adores you

Once it’s just you, Jarvis and Jordan, JORDAN IS AN ABSOLUTE MENACE

Oh, you’re facing Jarvis? Jordan is behind you making kissy faces.

You’re having some trouble with your laptop? Jordan pulls out Jarvis’s computer science degree (don’t ask why he had it on hand)

You compliment Jarvis’s shirt? Jordan is answering “He looks better without it.”

“Wow, Ethan’s match during creator clash was awesome!”

“You know, Jarvis’s match was wayyyy cooler and better.”

“I literally lost?”

“Not the point.”

A couple days before Jarvis confessed, he and Jordan had talked.

It was after they finished editing an episode of Sad Boyz. Jarvis opened YouTube on his phone to check what episode they were on, only to have the latest Chuckle Sandwich episode pop up on his timeline.

“Jordan… What if I mess this up?” He asked suddenly, anxiously biting the inside of his cheek as he remembered how happy you looked with Ted and Schlatt.

The insecurities that had festered after realizing his feelings for you were swarming his mind: Was it too soon to confess? Was he taking advantage of you? Is he a bad friend for falling for two of his friends’ ex? Do you even like him back?

Every thought born from his anxious mind came tumbling out as he aired it to his best friend.

Jordan sat back and listened, not once interrupting. Only once Jarvis finished his venting did Jordan speak up.

“(y/n)’s a smart, independent and mature woman. If there’s anything she’s not ready to do, she’ll tell you… As for those two,” Jordan pointed to Jarvis’s phone, referring to Ted and Schlatt, “they made a choice. They chose to break up with (y/n). If they’re good friends, then they’ll be happy for you or zip it.”

For the last part, Jordan put a hand on Jarvis’s shoulder, “You’re a good man Jarvis. You and (y/n) clearly care about each other and, even if she doesn’t feel the same, you need to be honest about your feelings…. Even though she’s absolutely into you too.” He added the last part with a cheeky grin, only to receive a playful shove from Jarvis in return.

After you and Jarvis kissed, Jordan was the first person he called to tell (after getting your consent of course)

“I knew it was a hurt/comfort wattpad fic.”

1. Beck is the most adorable fucking thing in the history of everything. I love him. Omggggggggggggggggg just how could your brain even come up with such a bean of a dude. He seems so stressed but so sweet. I adored his interaction with Jason it was so funny to read. And how much he actually misses his friend. Loved that I can have a crush on him because come on.

On that note tho:

Can I throw Ethan off a bridge???? Like Jesus dude cut it out. I see I'm gonna have issue with him on a beck route because dude doesn't know when to take a step back and not come off as a di....dingleberry!

2. The farewell with the fam was bittersweet as my MC has very complicated feeling towards the parents but Jace is just the best brother ever. Makes me sad I'm an only child.

3. Sids cute. ♥️ just so cute. Friendly and funny. Quite charming.

4. R is such a little lovebug. I love how we cldnt say no to him. And I had to stand up for him because no one gets to push my roommate around especially if they are really hot.

On that note again: ugh I want to punch Hader so badly... but I also want to romance him.. but I also wanted to throw a can at his head..empty can.. calm down.. 🙄 he can be glad he's hot and that I'm Slightly masochistic when doing IFs.. Was wondering about customization and if MC is gonna have the option to have any piercings or tattoos their family know nothing about.

Oh I did see a bit of a typo I suppose. After Haders scene and meeting F. After you choose your food in the cafeteria. Instead of saying as you take a "bite out of your chicken katsu curry" it says take a "sip" but that's all I noticed. Also if you ever need beta readers.... 👀👀👀👀

Overall I loved the entire update. I can't wait to interact more with everyone. And as I'm on a music scholarship Hader is gonna have to get used to my MC talking back 🙄 it's great. Your writing is great. This is so fun to read and reading it brought a smile to my face. Thank you for working so hard on it. ♥️

I love, love, love all the detail!

So I'll try and answer or have a comment for each bit since you made so much effort to give me feedback when you didn't need to.

Fun fact: Sid and the male form of one of the ROs are actually holdovers from an ill-starred short-lived mlm fic I wrote before GGGLU ever existed.

1. I'm so glad you liked Beck! I was worried that people would get irritated with him or end up not liking his personality but I thought the way I wrote him was most authentic to the story I wanted to tell for his route. He's so exhausted but so willing to help and isn't that just the cutest thing ever?

Ethan is Ethan, you'll definitely get your chance to be snarky and put down some fighting words with Ethan in the future. Infact at no point do you have to come to like him for Beck's Route but I can atleast say that there is a reason that he is Beck's University BFF and to a certain extent in my mind it makes his character a lot more...understandable if not your cup of tea.

2. (Obviously) there's the death of the author and I don't get to dictate how others interpret my writing but I'm so glad that you saw it the same way that I saw that scene when I was writing it because to a certain extent parting is a bittersweet moment for the MC regardless of how they feel about Jace and their parents.

3. Sid is adorable, just a ball of pop punk flavored sunshine. Was definitely one of my favorite characters to write in this part of the chapter and as a music scholarship MC you might be seeing more of them...but I'll shut my mouth for now.

4. Yeah I had debated allowing the MC to deny R and totally skip the cafeteria scene but I thought it was more fun if it was a compulsory event and the idea that R already has so much sway over the MC is sorta funny to me.

Hader is a bag of emotions and definitely stormy ones at that, I can't promise he'll ever be B or R levels of adorable but I can say that Riley wasn't lying when he said Hader isn't always like that and that usually he's a little more hot than scary and broody than angry.

The intended effect for my Hader-mancers was that they would want to punch and kiss him at the same time and seeing as they were already simping I had to ramp up the punching bit.

5. Fred is also good fun to write, I keep on saying this but also one of my favorites to write this time round and also one of the hardest for me. I'm not naturally a very dramatic or big personality so it's hard to write someone who is naturally charming and affable, I'm happy it was able to work somewhat as intended.

6. Hehehe the secret RO is in the demo currently and seeing as they're already implemented it's not a particularly big deal for me to reveal them BUT seeing as you guessed wrong I guess I'll be keeping it a secret for a little while longer.

A little hint: part of the reason H is so angry has to do with our beloved secret RO.

7. Customization is going to come as necessary to the story, things like tattoos and piercings are planned to come in part 2 of chapter one.

At some point you'll have a chance to get bigger tattoos but so early in the story the only tattoos you can have hidden from your parents will be pretty small.

8. I do need beta readers 😭😭😭 but I don't know how to get in contact with anyone through the proper routes and I'm famously awful with Discord amongst my friends.

If I ever figure out how to set up a Discord or interact with readers outside of Tumblr itself through the proper routes of communication then you will definitely be at the top of the list!!!

Finally we're at the end, thank you for giving me such a comprehensive breakdown of your experience. I really couldn't and wouldn't be able to write if it wasn't for your encouragement and excitement to push me forward to write.

I'm glad my writing style is atleast palatable and I'm more than ecstatic that it was able to provide a momentary amount of joy when reading.

Kenjaku is such a sore loser, like he acts so high and mighty but his plans got foiled by the wettest saddest guy in history. So embarassing for him. I can't imagine living for however long he lived and just staying in the same flop era with same flop goals. So cringe of him...😔

I am placing bets on Yuki vs Choso because I want those two to interact and because I think it would be funny if he betrays Kenjaku the second that fight ends. That man deserved more L's than the world is willing to give him (and the world is already willing to give him a lot of L's).

I love Mahito's dynamic with Hajime!✨️Like two stray cats that should only be adopted together. That car chase was iconic! It's honestly great to see Hajime slowly start to realize that there are things beyond strength. I can't believe Mahito hit a pedestrian...😔 Like, imagine the last thing you see being a green lambo with no driver and a person with cyan hair screaming in the other seat. I would never recover (neither will the random pedestrian).

“Haven’t you ever gone the opposite way on an escalator? Isn't it a fun challenge?”

This fool. “Fuck you! You know I’m scared of escalators!”

This made me laugh so hard, poor Hajime... being afraid of escalators...

I can't believe they gossiped about Nanami in a treehouse. Like, it's definetly something both of them would do, but I can't imagine Nanami's reaction if he ever finds out about this.

“Well, look what just happened with Sukuna and Suguru-kun,” Mahito says calmly, gesturing vaguely in the direction of the Nanami residence. “Kenjaku’s been scheming for over a thousand years, yet his meticulous goals were thrown off-course by the most depressed man in the universe! Isn’t that so totally hilarious?” 

I love Mahito!✨️ He is so real for this one. Truer words have never been spoken.

“Whatever his plans are, nothing’s gonna go according to them. I wanna be there to watch that” Me too bestie, me too.

I did not expect the emotional conversation but I am so here for it. Sukuna's whole backstory is so in our face, but also not? It feels like watching one of those 1000 pieces puzzles. I know that they all form a cohesive picture, one that he loves to hint at all the time (he really needs some friends to talk to), but I also find it quite difficult to form that picture. Maybe I will make a list of all of the dramatic prejecting his issues on others he does to find it easier.

Mahito cried about Kashimo! I an way too emotionally invested in that interaction, but it was so cute!✨️

Sukuna's high emotional intelligence combined with 0 social skills is so fun to witness. Like, unlike Kenjaku's mysterious ass he is here infodumping about his trauma for free all the tine. King of never shutting up and never keeping things private.

"Water is best as ice" I see you, Sukuna, I see you—

Gojo really did not sign up for getting emotionally damaged by some theatre kid with 1000+ years worth of trauma.

Surprisingly, Sukuna seems genuinely offended. “I am not,” he shoots back. “Anyone who thinks gender correlates to strength deserves to be eaten alive by the gender they think is the weakest.” Progressive king!✨️

Gojo and Suguru are so cute this chapter.💖 Suguru really got a lot of character development (even if he had to lose an arm for it) and I am so happy for him!✨️

Tsumiki is getting a character arc! 🎉

Her argument with Megumi was sad, but also somewhat necessary for her? Like, it's good that she finally expressed her feelings, she needs to do that from time to time, even if yelling at Megumi wasn't realky the best way (even if Megumi was acting a bit like a jerk). At the same time, poor Megumi. He is really going through it right now. Also poor Gojo, it's clear that Sukuna's words affected him.

i love mahito too! i wanted to give him interesting motives for going along with kjk's plans, since we never really found out in canon. i don't think he bought into the whole curses replacing humans thing, so why did he stay? i think him wanting to watch and study humanity as kenjaku tries to dismantle it fits with his personality.

their emotional convo was fun to write, especially their allusions to sukuna. that's exactly what i'm going for: all the puzzle pieces for sukuna's backstory are there, but missing a few key pieces for it all to make sense. slowly, we'll put things together, but not before making things way more confusing first

SUKUNAAAA MY OVERSHARING BELOVED we stan one zero social skills king. he's so vague but so expressive, and it's so funny and paradoxical of him. he never shuts up, but what he says never has substance.

"Gojo really did not sign up for getting emotionally damaged by some theatre kid with 1000+ years worth of trauma" PLEASE YOU'RE REALLY POPPING OFF WITH THIS MESSAGE gojo did get hit hard by sukuna's scarily accurate depictions of what it's like to be The Strongest. gojo is unsettled by sukuna, but the opposite is also true, which will only worsen as sukuna and gojo learn more about each other.

yeahhh tsumiki!! she deserves a character arc of her own, dammit. i'm so excited to write it! her argument with megumi was so gutting, but she needed to get her feelings out in the open so they can both begin to process and heal. but uh, not before some trauma first.

Fell in love with this pairing in the peach milk fic, i CANNOT EXPAIN this??? But i just lve how soft robin can be and i think thomas would do well with that. Also having someone who’s a bit more blase about monogamy could help thomas calm down a bit with how obsessive he is (or it could of course backfire and make him sad :c ) also i feel robins pranking/little shit-ness could go well with toms dramatics IF he let himself.

This one was DIFFICULT. I love burnt bread ok annie/mary is absolute soulmate shit. Its funny bc at the start of ghosts i did think kitty/mary was very cute, but between a growing fondness for kitmas and my LOVE for annie/mary i lost interest. He would be patient with cap, but in particular because sexuality doesnt really bother him?? (Twas simply not really a concept in is day) he has like…. idk how to explain it but like he has no kid gloves around cap navigating himself. He just says it how it is. He doesnt go overboard with encouragement or praises but its clear that he cares and that he understands its hard for cap?? Yeah?? And cap would appreciate that. Cap can go at whatever pace he wants, talk as much or as little abt it as he wants and robin wouldnt pester him, but would be VERY helpful if cap did need it. PLUS!!! They are nature boys. Tell me they would not spend HOURS out on the grounds looking at birds. Robin would show cap his mouse family and cap would LOVE it, and in turn he would show Robin the ants and robin would be intrigued by the fact insects can be organised and have jobs. Robin would teach him about the animals from his time and cap would be so interested. They would absolutely watch nature docs together. And robin would watch weaponry docs with him (not neccesarily war docs themselves). They would both spend hours watching How Its Made vids. God i love them. So so much.

Ok my opinion on cap/mike. I do love the concept of this, but i do believe its one sided? Its hard to imagine mike falling for a ghost in general bc he cant see or interract with them in any way (hence i dont mind robin/julian/mike bc they kind of can have a bit of a chat and a joke). HOWEVER cap is canonically attracted to mike at the start of the series so hell yeah if that continued and developed that would be so good. The consequences of him being in love with mike would be excellent at any stage - pre-realisation of his sexuality would be incredible to watch, and it would maybe help him realise. It would be interesting to compare an infatuation with mike to one with havers and see the differences, esp if mike was mid/post realisation. I do think mike would be good mates tho. Just a vibe i have. I would love to see them interract so much. ALSO!!!!! I think the paralell of cap and fanny both having a thing for mike would be SO FUCKING FUNNY. Both of them sat bitching about it like “why me” “why me? Why HIM?” And “he lifted that box of silverware the other day and i fell through a wall.”

Review of made weak by time and fate, but strong in will by dialux

Summary: I really really enjoyed this fic, the characterizations made me actually like the characters like A LOT. Some characters were underdeveloped, but thats alright because it’s such a lily/James focused fic. Ending was good but a little unfulfilling. I do think some of the dramatics and action became more confusing than true plot devices, but it would have gotten very very long with full transitional throughout the book. Criticisms aside, incredibly well written, amazing prose, and truly beautiful symbolism. I read this in about 24 hours.
