I've seen the question more than once "why do all radqueers identify as TransJapanese??"
Some say it's all them being weebs, others might bring up fetishization, most say its both
Unless you're me who's seen all of it for years, and I feel as if I can now explain why!
Please be patient and try to put your bias's aside for a moment so I may explain
This might be long so
Let's say you experienced dysphoria your whole life, but it isn't the one people talk about, it has nothing to do with your gender
It's your race
Your skin is uncomfortable and you hate looking at it, when you look at your face it's even worse, your own hair might make you distressed. You go about your life like it's not that big of a deal, maybe you thought it to be just growing up, maybe it's being social awkwardness who knows
But later on you find a group that experiences that too
And here's where the "problem" of there being so many TransJapanese people
The first group of people you meet are themselves TransJapanese, so you might think you yourself are as well, cause even if the group talks about TransRacial people generally, they are still the majority
There's also why you don't see others, it's because they are targeted a lot more than others, especially back when anti and radqueer debates were at their HIGHEST.
TransPOC and TransBlack people specifically were usually the target, but people didn't care much when CisPOC also got in the cross fire.
Sure, now you can say you understand atypical dysphoria and some TransID's, but back then (which was not too long ago!) anti radqueers didn't have a space for TransRace people, and from what I've seen nowadays, there still isn't a lot for them
So we have our issues
1. TransJapanese people would be the first you'd meet, and consciously or not, people might assume that they are specifically japanese a
2. Other TransRace people would be put down more and more than TransJapanese people, making them more quiet
More trace people exist and are out now, so I've seen many more than that
And it's important to remember that the starters of the Trace part of the community were not TransJapanese, They were TransBlack and EXTREMELY careful about it
thats why you don't hear many stories of TransRace people irl, they wouldn't tell you that because the first assumptions might be in bad faith

For real though of course there are shared experiences for trans people based on their ""transition direction" but why exactly are we centralizing these groupings, especially when talking about peoples nonbinariness? Im NOT asking why are we discussing them- of course we around be discussing these experiences- but why are we splitting all trans and genderqueer people into groups based on this "transmasc" and "transfem", and not based on other shared experiences like. Transrich and Transpoor. Transwhite and transpoc. Or is there perhaps some kind of social meaning to insisting the defining experience of someone's gender journey has to do first and foremost with their body's original configuration 🤔

hi! so im assuming you have chilled out from your previous post lmao so i'm gonna answer your questions
first of all, not every transid person wants to transition, or wants to transition for all of their transids. there's recently been some arguments about whether transharmful (such as transnazi or transtoxic) people should even be able to transition in the sense of becoming that thing. my thoughts, personally, are that if you wanna roleplay being shitty, or have a consensual dynamic with someone that, if done without that consent, would absolutely be abuse...that's fine. but don't wear hate symbols outside where people can see it and don't be a toxic person to random people, y'know?
as for the disorders, it's partly,, habit? like, your brain gets a kind of muscle memory. if you on purpose act like you have, ocd or something, it'll get used to that after a while and do that automatically.
it's harder to transition out of that, though. i can't really act like i don't have npd and it'll go away. that is called Masking and i do enough of it already (/half-silly)
as for race, several things would be possible. if you're transwhite, i'm pretty sure they make products that lighten your skin, and if you're transpoc, i'm pretty sure there are products that can darken it. i'm also intending to the reach out to the tribe i'm trans- to, and tell them that it feels like my soul is one of theirs (it does) and that it feels like the world fucked up by making me [birth race] (it does), and ask if i can be considered one of them even if i don't get the benefits they offer to other tribe members.
some things are impossible to transition to, both in general and for personal reasons. we cannot ever be a polyconscious system because of the way our brain works, but no one can really un-be abused.
does any of that make sense? do you have followup questions?
Ok sorry for my very angry previous , i do not know what crosstaghing is and i am also fairly new to tumblr, i mean i used to be on here but thats like a longgg time ago. This post is not to spread hate this time but rather to learn. I am like really curious , how do you transids expect yourself to transition inti things like havong bpd or being black ? I guess i understand how you cpuld "transition" to becoming smth like an addoct or idk to becominh a nazi but how wpuld that work with race or Disorders?

6 years ago today I legally changed my name to Aiden. It’s amazing how much has changed in that time. Including the growth of a kick ass quarantine beard.
It’s hard to believe my name was ever something different. And at times my name is misspelled and just plain said wrong. But it’s a name that represents me, and that’s beautiful.

Just because social media is dying down doesn’t mean this is over, its not over until people of color are safe... there are still protests and riots going on, Black Lives Matter, please speak up, donate, sign petitions.
This ain’t a trend, this is human lives being at stake
