chaewon slams her hands down on the dorm’s kitchen table like she just uncovered a murder. everyone jumps. kazuha drops her strawberry milk.

“eunchae doesn’t even like strawberry milk,” chaewon hisses. “but yesterday, she drank it. and said, quote: ‘y/n likes it so i’m tryna understand her taste buds.’”

sakura raises a brow. “maybe she’s just being a good dongsaeng?”

“okay but then why did she SKIP PRACTICE to go to y/n’s room and come back with her hoodie.”

yunjin suddenly appears from behind the fridge door with a full powerpoint pulled up on her ipad. slide 1 is titled: ‘EUNCHAE AND Y/N ARE LESBIANS: A THESIS’

kazuha is filming from behind a house plant. yunjin wears a bucket hat and fake mustache.

chaewon peeks from behind a laundry rack. “targets approaching.”

you and eunchae walk by, laughing about some inside joke. eunchae keeps nudging you. you nudge back. then she leans her head on your shoulder.

sakura whisper-yells. “SHE JUST NESTLED. I REPEAT, NESTLE CONFIRMED.”

“shut up,” yunjin says, “i’m trying to hear the dialogue.”

“you wanna put subtitles too?” kazuha mumbles, chewing on popcorn.

you’re sprawled on the floor, scrolling through your phone. eunchae climbs over the couch and lands on top of you like she owns the place.

“hi.”

“you’re heavy.”

“you’re in denial.”

you glare. she grins. you bonk her with a pillow. she dramatically gasps and falls over like she’s been murdered. and then, just as you're about to steal her spot—

she pulls you back by the wrist, wraps herself around you, and mutters:

“stay. you’re warm.”

meanwhile, sakura is in the corner recording like national geographic. “the prey has been caught,” she whispers. “the gay is strong here,” yunjin adds.

you and eunchae sneak off to the hallway like you’re not being monitored by four nosy idols and several hidden cameras.

eunchae: “they’re not gonna find us here.”

you: “girl this is literally a hallway outside the living room.”

eunchae: “exactly. they’ll never expect it.”

you roll your eyes. she grabs your face and kisses you like she hasn’t seen you in years. your hand is in her hair. she giggles halfway through. you giggle back.

you both freeze.

“did you hear that?” you whisper.

eunchae turns slowly. and there they are:

eunchae winks at you across the room. you blush.

“still wanna keep it secret?” she whispers when she passes you.

please, this is adorable! i think i have a small blurb on here somewhere that has a really small scene where she goes and sits on his lap during a filming session...

that's what her friends called her whenever they were on a stream on discord during a gaming session. even though she'd been streaming and gaming for a few months now, and knew the ropes on when the best time was to stream for her followers and what games they would enjoy seeing her play, the nickname stuck.

before she met arthur, she worked a normal 9-5 job in a local shop that was a short walk away from her london flat, getting up early in the mornings with a routine planned out for her entire day. but the more and more she was seen in arthur's videos and the more she was featured in his vlogs and the more she appeared on their friends' youtube channels, the more people wanted to see her doing her own thing.

so she took up streaming, where she held gaming nights with the two arthur's and george and chris and where she held nights where she would just waffle about her life to the camera, just to get a feel for it. to see whether she enjoyed it. to see whether it took off or whether it wasn't worth the hassle in changing to her career. coming home after a busy day at work, having dinner, before she disappeared to sit in front of her computer for a couple of hours.

george let the nickname slip.

during a game of fortnite because it was a game highly requested by her followers to play in a squad match with her friends - to the point where she would even venture out of her circle and play with some of her followers who requested a chance to be in her team. and she was terrible at it; she claimed any form of shooting game or games that required skill were never her forte and that she was simply doing it for the entertainment factor as people loved to see them all in a joking manner with banter being thrown around.

and it stuck.

she couldn't shake it off, months later. not that she minded, at all. she found it quite endearing and sweet how she was loved and welcomed into arthur's circle with wide-open arms by his best friends, like she'd always been a part of something special, as if she'd known them her whole life. because the last thing she ever wanted was to be placed as an outsider by his friends, know as just 'arthur's girlfriend' who led her own life and never involved herself as a part of their group or was never included in their plans.

they loved her, and respected her, and that was all that mattered.

and they'd been her biggest supporters from the moment she chose to make streaming and content creation her new career path. they were with her the moment she quit her job, they helped her to create her own gaming setup in her spare room, and they gave her tips and pointers on making videos and editing, giving her as much help as they possibly could to kickstart her new start. and she was incredibly thankful for all of them.

there was something she loved about making money off of having fun with her friends, her boyfriend and her followers. and, as time passed, she felt lucky to have been given the platform she had been given and never took it for granted.

"i'm going to save the last two episodes of this story for the stream tomorrow," yn says to the camera propped up before her, suddenly feeling the hefty weight of the headphones sitting upon her head and she could feel her ears getting hot from the padding, "i think we did good tonight, we completed almost all of it in two hours."

she watched arthur play a couple of episodes of lego star wars on a stream, not too long before, and she found something therapeutic about re-completing a game that she had already played before. how she used to love playing it when she was younger and that it was something nostalgic for her... so she'd asked him to show her how to stream herself playing it which he had no issue with doing.

"i can smell dinner, i think arthur's cooked for me," yn grins at her screen's monitor, her belly rumbling from the wafting scent of some form of seasoned meat in the air, "he's a cutie. in case you haven't realised, this isn't my usual setup."

she took a look behind her and, if people were clever enough, they'd see arthur's setup just behind her in his own spare room.

"arthur created a little space for me in his office so we can game and film videos together sometimes," she grins widely, reading all of the sweet comments that came through on the screen; some vibing with her and how cute arthur could be to others sending in games for them to play together, "he said he had a surprise for me when i came over tonight and he showed me this. i could have cried on the spot."

her eyes glazed over the comments, flowing in constantly, and it was hard for her to keep track of what people were saying.

"maybe we'll do a little setup tour for my youtube," she suggests and shrugs at the camera with a nonchalant grin on her lips, "maybe it'll be with you guys in the next couple of days. maybe not. you'll just have to wait and see."

she closed the game from her monitor and let a blank screen fill the space, her own face appearing in the bottom corner as she prepared to close down the stream for the night.

"same time tomorrow, troops. i'll see you then. love to you all," she blew a kiss to the camera and waved, "bye!"

she made sure everything was closed down before she stood to her feet, sliding her headphones off of her head and hanging them up on their little stand beside her screen, stretching out her back from the aches and the cricks that were forming from her hunched position over the last couple of hours. she tucked her chair back underneath her desk and grabbed her water bottle before leaving the room, into the open space of his living room, which was filled with the smells of something delicious.

she noticed the table was set with plates and cutlery before she saw him standing at his kitchen island, dishing everything into bowls so they could help themselves to however much they fancied that night, pan in his hand as he scooped beef strips into a ceramic bowl.

"good stream?"

"the best," yn grins widely as she took her seat at the table, "we hit 2k viewers about an hour ago."

"oh, that's brilliant," arthur gasps proudly and he supports the most genuine smile on his lips, looking at her as she grins proudly, "i told you you'd get there eventually."

"they loved the setup, too," she smiles, watching as he set the pan down in the sink before he picked up the plate of wraps and the bowl of beef strips, leaving behind the salad on the bar that he was going to go back and pick up once he set his full hands down on the table, "i might have to stream here more often now."

"that was the plan," he admits, setting the bowl and the plate down before he went back to the breakfast, not without passing her by and pressing a kiss to the top of her head, "i'm really proud of you."

"couldn't have done it without you," she says.

he sits down at the table beside her, both of them in a position to see the sun setting over london, painting the surface of the thames with oranges and pinks, the last of the sun shimmering on the windows of the buildings opposite.

"i've got a video to film tonight, do you fancy being a part of it? could do a watch-along together," he suggests, filling up a wrap with beef and some salad, wrapping it all up with a fajita-style fold before he took a hearty bite from the top, "people have been asking for you to make another appearance."

"only if you're fine with that," she says, following his actions as she filled her own wrap up, "what are you watching?"

"it's just a short video from reddit about nature and animals," he says and she laughs softly, "what?"

"nothing, i just love your little fascination with the animal kingdom," she admits and he blushes, looking down at his plate, "it's cute. i find it fascinating when you talk about anything like that. all the facts you tell me. it's like having my own walking, talking encyclopaedia."

and when it comes to filming, she finds comfort in sitting closer to him as they watch the reddit videos together. she's wrapped in one of his throw blankets, in her comfiest clothes (which was a tee from his wardrobe and a pair of black cycling shorts peeking out from the bottom), settled on his lap with his arm wrapped around her waist to keep her steady on his thighs.

"an orca slapping a dolphin straight out the sea," he reads from the screen and, as the two of them watch nature take its course, they're both completely enamoured by the scene before them, "oh, jeez. the amount of air that thing gets is insane."

"they're the bullies of the ocean," yn adds and she remembers arthur saying something like that previously, when they'd been cuddled up in bed with a documentary about the ocean playing as they wound down for the night, "i bet that was an incredible thing to witness happen though. being that close to a dolphin seems amazing but to be that close to an orca, too? it's a bonus, a two in one special."

"have you ever seen a dolphin?"

she shakes her head and cranes her head to look at him, "never. it's on my bucket list though. that and to see the whales off the coast of gibraltar."

"maybe we'll take a trip," he says, "one day. i think i'd love to see that, too."

she leans back a little more comfortably on his lap, her back resting against his front as she brings her knees to her chest, tightening the blanket around her body to keep her from being too exposed to the camera and to keep her a little warmer, his arm helping to bring her closer to him.

"that was probably his killer instincts coming out though," yn explains and arthur cocks an eyebrow, confused, at her, "what?"

"they don't eat dolphins?"

"they do," she nods and he's genuinely surprised by her little bit of knowledge on orca's and their food chain, "they don't just eat seals and penguins, arthur. they eat dolphins and other sea creatures, too."

"look at you, eh?" he teases softly and, in that moment, they forget the camera is rolling and that they're actually filming a video for his second channel, "you're just as nerdy as me when it comes to the animal kingdom. my interests are rubbing off on you."

"i have my surprises," she grins and brings a hand up to poke a finger into his nose, "i know it might not seem like it sometimes but i am interested in your interests, silly." xx

Simon S. Salty tried to bribe his way into the Pearly Gates of Heaven with coupons at his shoddy restaurant but God was so offended by the mere idea of eating his slop that he told St. Peter to press the big red button to open the trapdoor under Salty’s feet to H-E-double hockey sticks so he can go peddle his 2-bit McDonalds knock off to those who truly deserve it. Eat up Satan ya big red loser!!!

Pim is actually much stronger than he looks, he can open pickle jars with one turn of the wrist and he can carry Charlie over his head while running a mile without breaking a sweat (or his spine for that matter).

Charlie bamboozled the entire internet by editing The Mr. Frog Show wiki by adding fake episodes with a source that lead to the famous RickRoll video, only for everyone to read him the riot act when he accidentally exposed himself. Hah! That idiot.

One hot summer day Glep spat on the sidewalk and the spit droplet just sizzled and evaporated into steam….from that point onward Glep has been trying to convince his co-workers that he can literally spit fire and when trying to prove such a claim he spat into Charlie’s coffee.

Pim and Zoey had to bail Charlie out of jail once again for attempted murder (See the HC above for the reason why).

Mr Boss was cursed into turning into an owl beast in his sleep and he has to take a potion once a day to keep him normal, hence why he was freaking out at the end of S2E1.

Alan wears a skin-tight red jumpsuit under his neck and tie and underneath all that he has goofy-print boxers with a smiley face patch on the seat.

Pim is still friends with Jennifer even after the initial mix up when he introduced her to Shrimp. She gives him special “Thank You” coffee and treats in the house every year on her and Shrimp’s anniversary.

Can I be blunt for a minute?

How come If Amanda is married and Angela said in the pod before Smoshmouth Live, that she sees Amanda and Shayne like her second parents, people will treat it like Shourtney?

There is a clear distinction, Court said in a vlog on their youtube channel that romantic relationships among the Squad back in like 2017 were not in the cards.

Again, Amanda is married and Ang has come out other times to shoot things down. There isn't anything wrong with shipping, even romantically as long as you don't belive it to be real in this sense. That is where it becomes parasocial.

With Shayne/Court, you can say that it wasn't necessarily real either, but neither of them were married obviously, and weren't talking about their dating lifes exclusively, beyond joking about it on their Pit show together.

If someone is married that should be an indicator of how to tread when it comes to healthy shipping. I love seeing edits and other things just as much as the next guy, but it does become a tad much when people clip certain moments where Ang/Amanda say something about the others looks and that is the sole focus.

I know Amanda has mentioned how she is happy being a sapphic/lesbian icon and joked about it, but that doesn't mean that they are an actual lesbian.

Yeah when I see people talk about amangela, it does come across as a little weird sometimes. Not all the time, some things are all fun and games, but it crosses a line a bit. I think since Angela is (presumably) queer in some capacity, people took shipping her with women to a new level, forgetting she can be bi/pan. BUT saying this, I can’t not say that they (mainly Amanda) leans into the shipping HARD. So I get why people would “ship” them in a joking sense, but it comes across strange at times tho.

IT was the day of the shoot. ‘ find the gold digger - chunkz edition ‘ you were there for love, not money, and you knew you didn’t like chunkz in that way. You liked him in a more of a friend-ish way— plus you just couldn’t resist being in a video with the famous chunkz !

You were a fan of the beta squad a few years back when you were 16 - 18, soon after you’ve lost interest in watching YouTube videos and more interested in focusing on your work, being a hard working influencer..that’s kind of it, you continued collage but unfortunately didn’t land a job so you eventually found the idea of posting vlogs of your everyday life and let’s just say it made you gain a few thousands here and there.

You didn’t get struggle when you were younger, but you did sort of struggle in your teen years— which was how you found out about the beta squad, firstly niko.

But the present is more important than the past.

“Bring the girls out!” Chunkz had yelled and soon enough all the girls including you came out and stood in front of chunkz, you were wearing a dark red Henley top with low rise dark pants which resulted for the boys to whistle rather loudly at the look of you leaving them absolutely baffled.

(replacing evie with you btw) it was your time to go on a date with chunkz next, the boys then asked chunkz to ask you ‘who’s the best looking in the beta squad’ you soon started saying along the lines of “ y’know I’ll easily hype up like boys because they’re they’re cute uhm so shout out Niko..” you said with a slight smirk while looking at the camera knowing the boys and niko would be watching, and let’s just say he couldn’t get you out of his head after that.

📰 ◞ what social media platforms are you most famous on? this can be anything from youtube to tiktok. how did you get so famous anyways? was it something like you being reposted by another famous celebrity or just you existing and that made you skyrocket into fame?

i started out on vine like most vloggers did back in the day. i had a few "viral" ones but my career didn't fully blossom until david started vlogging. people started following because of my part as the logical one in the vlogs. i am the one telling heath not to jump on the tables but y'know he just does it anyway.

💻 ◞ what is you content like? do you film prank videos or vogue grwms? which influencer would you say your content is most like?

my vlogs are drastically different from david's vlogs. i have a shared channel with my best friend stevie. the vlogs usually range from ten to twenty minutes long. we do grwms and things of that nature. i have a series where stevie and i try new hobbies! think of me as emma chamberlain with dark hair and no coffee obsession.

📺 ◞ what's your routine like when you're not filming? do you got to school or have another job that you work at? what do you do during your free - time when you're not stressing about editing and posting your video?

when i'm not worried about filming and editing a new video i am almost always with my friend ( & roommate ) stevie. we do a lot together. we've been friends for almost five years and moved out to cali together. we'll either rot in our living room together or go out for food or something. our sweet treat trips are always filled with " guess what i heard " and " you'll never guess what happened ".

🎮 ◞ what kind of comments do you usually receive? do you get hate comments or only kind supporters are in your comments? how is your fanbase like? are they calm and creative or rambunctious but you love them either way? do you even like your fandom, also what's their fandom name?

our fanbase is almost surprisingly calm? like other than being a little too involved with our loves lives they're chill. they don't try to find our address or follow us home so that's cool! ( bare minimum. don't stalk ppl, guys. ) they make those instagram edits of me and stevie so i love them very much. they have yet to give themselves a fandom name.

🔌 ◞ are you in a relationship? if you are in a relationship, how does your fandom perceive this? if you aren't in a relationship, who are some people your fanbase ships you with?

okay, so. let me just start this off by saying i did not script this. but whatever. so.. i'm sorta in a two-way situationship with alex and jason. i'm not really dating either of them, but i kind of am? i don't know man. boys are difficult.

people have been shipping me and alex since the peak of vine. they still do till this day because we tend to be in david's vlogs at the same time. in reality we're all friends and hang out all the time. but i am also hitting that so y'know the fans are right about that.

since jason and vinnie ( hacker ) joined the cast of the vlogs everyone has been shipping me with jason. ( vinnie is all stevie's btw. ) it's a little crazy how quickly people caught on to me and him lol.

Folding Ideas: a marvelously well-spoken social and media critic, with commentary on symbolism in film. his breakdowns of the editing failures of films such as Suicide Squad and The Snowman are entertaining and informative, and he has mini-episodes on narrative concepts like Thermian arguments (the Watsonian of Watsonian vs. Doylist explanations) and ludonarrative dissonance. politically on top of it (mostly), extremely astute, and a pleasure to listen to. Ariel Bissett: a delightful young Canadian book reviewer takes us on her journey of renovating her old house. mostly cosmetic changes rather than structural as she's essentially self-taught, but she's a charismatic and charming host with a unique eye for style and color. her design sense matches closely with my own (we're both Monet fans), so I find her videos very soothing and satisfying to watch. I haven't seen any of her book reviews, but she seems thoughtful and passionate. I like all her house videos, but particularly the three yearly house tours so far (intro video, one year in, two years in,), Building The Perfect Guest Room, Complete Office Renovation!, Living Room Renovation To Look Like Emma's House!, Building The Perfect Reading Nook, Transforming the Smallest Room In My House With Wallpaper, and honestly all the others. it's a real pleasure to see the changes she makes over the months. I can't wait for the kitchen redo!

Accented Cinema: probably my favorite youtuber right now. he's a Chinese Canadian filmmaker with a focus on films and film-making processes, both his own and those from China (most often) and other non-American countries (occasionally). his videos have brought me to tears more than once. honestly I love too many to list all of them so I'll just list my top favorites but I highly recommend this channel. I loved Why China Cared About Kung Fu Panda, Shadow: Adapting Chinese Art, Who Killed Captain Alex: What Makes a Movie Good?, Chinese Animation: In Search of a Style (brief shot of mdzs donghua at the very end), Why Ghibli's First 3D Looks Soulless, East vs. West: Differences in Story Philosophy, Mahjong & Crazy Rich Asians, Why Are Kung Fu Movies So Patriotic, How I Made a Fake Video Essay

Local Script Man: a professional screenwriter whose advice and commentary on creating stories is really interesting and different than what you tend to see on tumblr. he tends to be kind of harsh but not in mean-spirited way, just in a way that makes it obvious that he knows what he's talking about. I like Oops No Plot, The Key to Writing Freakishly Good Dialogue, and both parts of 5 Essential Storytelling Rules I Just Made Up (part 1, part 2)

Schaffrillas Productions: a guy breaks down and ranks various animated films, often by studio. these videos are just a lot of fun. I liked his videos on the Shrek franchise (one, two, three, four, and the musical), and Raya vs. Encanto - How One Message Failed and Another Succeeded

Super Eyepatch Wolf: this man is, as we speak, convincing me to read Berserk. he has a slow, dramatic presentation of his arguments that draw you in and a great sense of humor. All of his "Why You Should Watch" videos are interesting even if you don't have any plans to watch the show he's describing, because they give an overview of the themes and strengths without spoiling it. he also presents a wealth of information on manga/anime history, and miscellaneous commentary on other media. I liked in particular The Fall of The Simpsons: How it Happened, "Non Battle" Battle Anime, What Makes A Fight Scene Interesting?, The Impact of Dragon Ball Z: The Series that Changed Everything, Why You Should Watch Yu Yu Hakusho, What Makes A Good Character Design?,

Cinema Therapy: these two guys are charming and sometimes funny. they can get annoying and their analyses tend to be very superficial, but I really like their videos tearing into bad romantic cliches. I like 10 TROPES We Hate About Rom Coms, 7 Tips from THE ADDAMS FAMILY to Keep Your Marriage Alive, TITANIC: Love Triangles and Compatibility, Therapist Reacts to THE KISSING BOOTH (Part 1, Part 2), Relationship Therapist Ranks Christmas Romances with guest Shona Kay

MK was an Interesting person.

Malin had spent the previous week drawing out a plan to ingratiate themselves with his group. The Mayor, as he requested they call him, had opened to them to a brand new avenue of thought; an avenue they had to admit to never before considering.

Friendship was a rarity for Malin; A rarity they never truly noticed in their day to day. After all, they had plenty of people to talk to and spend time with: Acquaintances, business partners, collaborators, other artists and content creators. Impersonal, platonic relationships that held them aloft in a manageable bubble of personal interest.

It's not like they were inclined to avoid social situations, or keep strangers at a distance. They quite enjoyed the company of other people, even sought it out often and openly. But true friendship? The type of bond they hoped to achieve with this endeavor? That was something they've only ever managed to find in Milton.

Their longtime ally and close companion was a notably special case. They had known each other since early childhood; And while the both of them didn't consider their bond to be in any way romantic or familial, neither of them could (or would) deny the trust they shared.

He took good care of them- socially, emotionally, financially- and Malin felt compelled to do the same; acting as his compass and using their skills and talents to grow his wealth and power. It was a give and take that ran deeper than mere favor. Their relationship was a different texture than that of a vlog squad, or an interesting conversation partner. It was something emotional. platonic, but intense. He meant something more.

To achieve a mutually sustaining, long lasting connection, Mk would have to mean something more. The Monkie Kids would have to mean something more. They needed to be close to get to Sun Wukong; And with force thoroughly removed from the table, the only option without risk was complete sincerity. And thus, the planning had begun.

Putting themselves on Mk's radar would be easy. It was simply a matter of memorizing his schedule and sporadically inserting Milton and themselves into his general area. To familiarize his subconscious with their likenesses would ensure that he remembered their faces after the first meeting.

Malin’s past experience and skill in establishing (business or otherwise) relations would ensure that the meeting itself would go smoothly. Pre-thought-out questions, answers, statements, and conversation extenders were easily customized to any and every possible situation, they even had a number of “Sorry for being weird” gifts ready for the worst case scenario.

They planned for everything. It was, after all, what they did best. Unfortunately- Or rather, very fortunately -Mk just seemed to have a way with derailing well though out plans.

Malin had finished their monthly product review earlier than expected, and was taking advantage of this newfound free time to indulge in their very private, very personal hobby: Model kits.

They've harboured a love for them for as long as they could remember. One of their mother's final gifts to them had been a model kit. It was a hasbro official limited edition transformable Unicron that had sold out months prior, the proud smile on her face as they jumped and shrieked for joy was one of their better memories of her.

The craft store they deemed worthy of their patronage was a medium sized, family owned spot just west of their college campus. They supplied all kinds of sets and materials, and the owners were happy to fill special orders and stock specific items upon request. Malin was salivating over a deluxe sized Lost Light set when they felt a light tap on their shoulder.

“Hey, uh. Excuse me, are you ‘Bone Meister’?”

They turned to the voice, ready to switch to their meet and greet persona, only to fall silent when they locked eyes with Mk himself.

He was wearing his standard outfit- one which appeared in nearly all of his pictures on social media -and a friendly smile on his face. One hand held a bundle of comics, and a basket full of art supplies occupied the other. Malin noted faint multi colored smears on the one holding the basket; the presence of paint pens and fine liners among the assortment inside told them that he’d spent a nominal amount of time in the pen testing isle before wandering over. He hadn't followed them in, then.

“Yes, that's me. Are you a fan?” Malin smiled, taking hold of the model kit they were looking at.

“Oh, no. Uh- Well- Not that I don't like your stuff, I mean-” he chuckled nervously “I uh, saw your performance at the lunar new year music deathmatch tournament two weeks ago. I don't know if you remember me, I- We performed too-”

Malin turned to face him better; displaying open interest with their body language, but keeping their face more aloof “Yes, I do remember you. ‘The Monkie Kids’, is that right?”

Mk’s smile lost a bit of the stress it held, relief etched into the subtle way his shoulders sagged “Yea, I'm the drummer.”

Malin was a bit surprised. They had considered the possibility of him remembering them from the competition, but it had seemed unlikely at the time. It was a big event, and there were a lot of contestants, so they didn't do much planning around this scenario. Luckily for them, Mk seemed just as interested in conversation as they were.

“It… Stings that I lost to you," Malin carefully admitted "But you guys were good.” They didn't even have to lie “Your sound is really something else, I might have to steal away your vocal coach."

Mk laughed “Yeah, well, yours was great too! I've never seen anyone dance like that before. You were like,” he made a flying gesture with his hand, turning Malin’s smile into something more genuine “The wind.”

Malin giggled, briefly surprised they didn't have to force it “Thank you. It was actually inspired by a mix of hip hop, ballet, and fighting forms shown in older material arts movies. I felt it would compliment the desperation and power in the lyrics while simultaneously tying them to the rhythm.”

“Yeah it did!” Mk perked up, balling up his fists and performing several showy air punches and wide kicks “It was so cool! The beat drop after the slow rise into the crescendo made my blood go crazy!” Malin watched, amused, as he did a jumping twirl and landed on one foot, singing out the part he was mentioning “And- and when you bought out that sythe???! Oh my gods! You were amazing! It was like I was actually in the scene!”

Observing the energy that filled him when just talking about their performance made Malin’s pride swell, the sweet nectar washing over them and carrying them out into sea.

“Your performance was nothing to sneeze at, either.” Malin pointed out “I would be lying if I said I wasn't moved myself. You guys really have a way with words.”

Mk looked positively ecstatic, his grin glimmering like sunlight itself. He stood straight, pulling out his phone and tapping on it a bit “We should totally colab! And hang out! Like, today. You hungry?”

As the pair walked out of the store clutching their purchased spoils, and later down the street with lunch in tow, they continued to talk until nightfall. Mk joked, Malin laughed; and in the fleeting moments after they went their separate ways, Malin couldn't help but wonder…

Malin gave him a grin of their own, taking the offered phone and entering in their number. Hook, line, and sinker.

Did he treat women this way when he was with the Vlog Squad? The videos from back then make him seem really nice and like he actually had respect for women.

Jeff didn't release as much content as he does now compared to when he was in the vlog squad. In the VS, people saw a very edited version of Jeff in Davids vlogs and then saw the barbershop character, nothing really overly personal was shown. But im pretty sure hes only changed a small bit. I also feel he was so conscious of being seen a certain way and being nice to women as there were so many people watching him, he knew he couldn't fuck up. He was put in probably one of the best work opportunities in his life, he couldn't afford to fuck it up by having anything negative online.

You can't convince me that at the top of his career in the VS, all the popularity and opportunities to party and meet women he behaved himself. He didn't speak on it but was probably hooking up so much. It's just that Tana wasn't there to expose him lmao!!
