Absolute random question that's been on my mind for a while

How does P install his defense parts (and the quartz for that matter)??? Does he just-- Open himself up whenever he wants to change his build??? Does his chest open up???? Can he just willy nilly expose his insides to swap parts???? Why am I thinking so hard about this????

my insane ability to go to the mall, see a bunch of merch at a bunch of different stores for an anime I haven't seen, start watching it, and return to the mall a week or two later and see absolutely no merch for it at all is unmatched

I'm being DEAD serious here guys. Make problematic ocs. I'm telling you. It's so much fun. And easier to get invested in them sometimes because they really STICK OUT in your brain. You fall in love with them.

For help developing problematic ocs try out these two methods

Method one: think of a problematic choice your oc will make. This could be; abandoning their children, killing a sibling, siding with the oppressor whatever. Work backwards from there. What are the implications of someone who would make that decision.

Method two: give them a motivation and work forwards from there. For example; they have the motivation to survive no matter what, they need to be the ruler of their society, they will not go against a specific religious/moral code etc. now make sure every decision they ever make is in line with that and crucially put things in their way that'll make them make fucked up decisions to get what they want.

Now! You have! A fucked up oc! And you will love them! I promise

Was looking at refs and since Viktor has two different leg braces I was wondering, do we think he wears them simultaneously?? The refs don't perfectly line up perspective-wise so it's hard to tell but parts of the one he wears during the Hexcore scenes look like they could maybe line up with the brace that he wears over his clothes, but also some parts really don't and look like they'd be super uncomfy. Also HOW does he take these on and off. Experts weigh in

#viktor #arcane #ig my assumption would be that he wears both simultaneously cause in the scene where he injects the shimmer #it seems implied that he just threw off his clothes and kept experimenting #so one might assume he was already wearing the smaller one underneath #tho it is a funny image to think of him just being like 'one sec i gotta go all the way home and grab my other brace to do this'#he can take off the back brace too cause hes not wearing it in the scene where he's in the hospital bed and you can see his shoulder #where the strap would be #but that one seems to make even less sense functionality wise #everything looks like its screwed together #or screwed INTO him #but only the top bolts on his spine are i think #in the close ups of his back brace model it looks like theres cushioning underneath the parts of it that cover the rest of his spine #so he can take it off. but HOW #what parts of it unscrew/detatch to pull open and off #does it not do that at all and he just has to shimmy it off his shoulder and all the way down his legs to get it off like a romper #the shape language of the designs are cool but like. tell me how it wooorrkkksss #forgive me if im just dumb and dont know at all how braces work and theres a very simple practical explanation for all this #any king who wants to infodump about mobility aids at me....the floor is yours #something to be said i suppose about the fact that zaunites have crazy prosthetics with wild augmentations that work flawlessly #and piltover's like. idk heres some fucking uncomfortable ass metal. salo gets wheelchair in non ada compliant place #they havent ever needed to adapt to accommodate disabilities etc etc #or maybe artists were just like 'heres a design' and everybody clapped and didnt give it a second thought #and then they just turned off the visibility on the mesh when they didnt need it knowing thered not be a scene where its taken off #dont even wanna THINK about what that rig would look like #like 40 different controllers #soft body and rigid hard surfaces needing to move together....#a cold chill just shot up my spine #<- guy who is only an animator and doesnt know how to rig #forgive the magic wand tool with zero cleanup. i am lazy

Because by keeping humans that close Autobots basically show that the humans can be used as leverage #against them you know.#He would immediately suggest getting rid of kids and hiring actual competent adults instead. So all hacking can be done by professionals #and all infiltrating can be done by people who are at least old enough to drink you know #yea kids would haaaate him so much #he would also build make all kinds of little annoying gadgets bc I have read Covenant of Primus and tfp Prowl is smart like that #he would be going around sticking trackers on every enemy he fights #and then triangulating Cons positions by the coordinates where their signals stop tracking #bc Nemesis blocks them #He would also keep sending Smokey to ghost through walls and steal all kinds of valuable shit from Megsy #they would be such a menace together #man this is getting kinda long I should probably stop

i have suddenly become obsessed with a theme that HoO established but never proceeded to extrapolate on, which is:

thank you! 💙💙💙 Leia/Leah/Lea/whatever is fascinating to me. she is the ultimate unknown. what was she like? how involved (or even aware of any details of the invasion) was she? Silver's basically a physical carbon copy of his biodad, so what did he get from her? like, I understand why the two of them kind of have to stay as these super vague and mysterious figures -- the whole point of them is that their story ended 400+ years ago and they're not really relevant anymore (and. well. the more that gets explained about them, the less that can just kinda be handwaved as "oh the politics were Very Messy") (we can sit here and theorize all day but let us acknowledge that, ultimately, canon gave us almost nothing about them post-Meleanor and we'd just be making things up). I do still wonder about her though! RIP Lea, we never knew you and we probably never will.

actually you know what, as long as we're here, I think I WILL go ahead and just make some stuff up about what Silver might've inherited from her instead.

As much as i love Dungeon Meshi, i do think that given Ryoko Kui's attention to realistic worldbuilding there ought to be a companion series called Dishes Meshi where they spend 2hrs washing and drying and packing away. Alll the goddamnfuck dishes they just made

Being someone who read Under The Red Hood and came out with the firm belief that, for Jason, it's not about killing Joker, it's about Jason wanting proof Batman would choose him over the Joker (bc shelia chose the joker). Makes seeing any other media where it's all about just wanting the Joker dead is a teeny bit frustrating. to be honest

Jason could've killed the Joker himself, really, really easily. Jason kidnaps the Joker before the confrontation. I can't open my comic for a reference right now, but it felt like he had the Joker for quite a bit before the confrontation. He had him. He beat him up with a crowbar. He had every single opportunity to kill the Joker himself, but he didn't because that wasn't his goal. Make no mistake, he did plan for the Joker to be dead by the end of it, but do you see what im trying to say here

Edit: If I knew this post was gonna get 1000+ notes I would've tried to word it better or something, this was a rant I made on the way to the grocery store 😭

It's not about making Batman kill either. When Batman says he won't kill, Jason adjusts and goes, 'Let ME kill the Joker or kill me to stop me' instead. The test is all about Batman choosing him. The whole final confrontation is Jason's first death again. The parent, The Joker, and the explosives. It even ends with Jason unable to move as a bomb goes off right next to him again because the parent didn't choose Jason. And instead tried finding an option that'd benefit them and (consequencely) letting the Joker walk, again, lol, lmao <-in agony

#the final confrontation was basically his first death again #and YES he Does want the Joker dead #and it would've been really really nice if Batman was the one who did it #but when batman made it clear he wouldn't kill the joker. Jason easily switched to saying “LET me kill the joker” to accommodate #because he Wanted batman to pass his test #he gave a test to dick too. and technically tim but it wasnt the family test it was a different one so it doesnt rly count #AFTER utrh and the reveal and the batarang you can go hog wild about it. i care less about it then #granted i do believe they make jason more scared of the joker after it at some point #i guess because hes a bit too willing to kill the joker and ive heard jason wasnt meant to live after utrh #my watsonian explain for that is he was so fixated on his plan he cpuld override his fear. or maybe the pit. either work #i prefer the fixation bc i dont like the explanation that the pit was the /only/ reason he could get all plan together and done #BUT THATS UNRELATED!!!#dc stop putting the joker in jason stories im begging you please please please. lock him in a vault for the next 20 years or something #it Cpuld be good and i understand. but also. after so long of people that dont know or go for jasons need for family and parents #that love him and he can trust #the joker starts to feel like?? hm. words. a cop out? oh haha its that guy that killed him woagh hes here #i bet you dont even know that jaybin got beat until unconsciousness by an angry mob #while asking batman to save him only for batman to have to walk away #anwya. where was i going with this #i think i got off topic #jason todd #dc comics #batman #ADDED AN EDIT. Okay, can I gush about how much I enjoyed drawing this one scene? idk why, but it itches a spot in my brain. Something about Sam being way too tall for the shot and having the entire middle ground be essentially half a city. Sense of scale is always fun to play around with.

This comic has been a very fun way to implement my different interests.

This part is very inspired by my silly Godzilla obsession. LITERALLY. This one scene was heavily inspired by the Godzilla comic I'm reading :)

Also YES. Godzilla showed up in the OG Marvel Comic series and it's as cheesy and beautiful as you can imagine.

There's this moment in Mark of Athena (I think), where Annabeth kind of internally laments that Percy doesn't listen to her when she talks about architecture. She describes his eyes glazing over etc etc. But there are several moments in the books where Percy recalls facts she told him and shares them with other, or moments where he sees a building he thinks is cool and thinks about her. And I just ... I need Annabeth to know that her best friend & boyfriend is hanging onto every word and even sharing her facts with other people.
