Jane Martin once again, this time in garrotting femdom mode - not fatally to her bad guy victim however. Jane remains one of the most intriguing female comics characters of the Golden Age, anticipating the more recent incarnations of Lois Lane by decades.
The page featured is from Jane’s adventure in Wings Comics #96 (August 1948). The story was by the fictitious writer FE Lincoln, and art by George Evans.

[text under cut]
1. Have you ever been in love? (Please circle your answer.) a. It's me and him b. Our hearts beat in sync c. Our lives intertwined
2. Do you understand what you’ve done? (Please circle your answer.) a. I couldn't do anything b. I lost my balance c. I doomed us both
3. It's been god knows how long since you felt phantom hands on your neck and there is no one in sight. If you were soul-bound to him and both of you died at the same time then why are you still waiting in the void? Please answer clearly, in full sentences. (Not a correct answer:I just wanted to see him one more time).
4. Define two (2): Fate | The feeling of his forehead against yours Curse | The moment you realise he isn't linked to you anymore
5. True or False: i. It was your fault. ii. You wish you had met him under different circumstances. iii. You can’t regret a single moment that you had him. iv. You would do it all over again if you could. v. It ended long before either of you said anything.

Jane Martin
“But it is, gentlemen! Keep your hands in sight, or you know what!”
Yes, ma’am! Great POV of Jane in male-dominating mode. Will those hands of theirs she mentions soon be bound behind their backs?

Jane Martin, pilot, nurse, secret agent and reporter makes another appearance in this blog. Here the indomitable Jane brings a gang of enemy spies to justice in Canada. The indomitable redhead even gets made an RCMP corporal by a grateful major after she, seemingly single-handedly, captures the gang, and brings them in, hands tied behind their backs, after burying them in a landslide, “like a true Mountie”. Jane’s triumphal smiles in the last two panels of this page from Wings Comics are worth the price of admission alone!
This is from an untitled story published in Wings Comics #109 (September 1949). The story is by “F.E Lincoln” and is illustrated by George Evans.

1-2: monster swap!! purely indulgent, since if they were actually these monsters from the start, they'd all have turned out different.
3: price in his prime! he was a real tank, but he grew out of his destructive phase.
4: preening time with gaz <3
