Can we stop a moment and read what Matt Smith said about Daemon? And how it feels so right and in character?

"It's not as if he wants to be King of the land or any of that, I think he's just pretending and trying to make everyone angry."

Daemon isn't a good guy, we know that. His only redeeming quality is his love for his family and he shows it. But he is a second son, the little brother, and it's important for his character — He doesn't get to choose who he marries, he is more (arguably) free than his older brother Viserys and he isn't vocal about what he wants most of the time because he is left aside (as 1x01 in the throne scene). What I want to say is I see so much of my younger brother in his fits it is funny and cute to watch!

What he really does when he steals the egg is throw a fit, gets attention from Viserys (and everyone) because he doesn't get away with it. He doesn't want to be married to Rhea Royce, damn! He wants tiny hims ensuring chaos around all the seven kingdoms! He wants to be there for his brother, be involved in his rule, but nobody allows him.

Nobody asks him what he wants, they always talk like they know him but nobody does.

He never says he wants to be King, I think. I would need to rewatch the whole show again, but the only scene he says what he wants is in 1x04 ("I want Rhaenyra"); a different scene is in 1x07 where he doesn't get to vocalize it, but we all know what he wants to say. Only he doesn't say it, because he already did. Where did it go? Viserys thinking he wants the throne, not Rhaenyra, even if Daemon told him very explicit "I want her".

But what happens before that is interesting. Viserys asks him to speak, to say his part. Daemon only says "What does it matter, brother?".

Maybe that's why I felt it was so in character of him what Matt said. Everyone says Daemon wants the throne, just as everyone (Otto) says Rhaenyra will kill Alicent's children because they are between her and the throne. No, they aren't.

Daemon doesn't bother with it, he knows where his loyalty lies (his family) and what others think of him doesn't bother him. You only need to watch 1x03 to notice how much fun he has in court throwing off people.

On Thursday we framed the mud room and hung the sheetrock that’s on the kitchen and living room sides. We of course, ran to Lowe’s for some stuff and today will be electrical. The mud room is upcoming so we can clear the living room of pantry stuff and that’s going to be so nice. I have in the kitchen one small space to prepare food and eat so I cannot wait to get everything put away again. This…

The Hollow Knight Wiki has a New Home

We would like to announce that the Hollow Knight Wiki has been moved from hollowknight.fandom.com to hollowknight.wiki.

We and a lot of our readers have been frustrated over the year with Fandom's aggressive ad campaigns, the lack of freedom in customization, and having a little say in their increasingly restrictive implementations. Because of this (and more), we decided it was time to move from Fandom.

All content from the Fandom wiki has been copied to the new site and we will abandon the former wiki. The new wiki offers WAY fewer ads, faster load times, improved design, and more independence in what we can show in our articles. The new wiki will also be the only one updated with Silksong information once the game is released.

Since the Fandom wiki can't be closed, we recommend not visiting or editing it any longer. Update your bookmarks and delete your browser history with links to the Fandom wiki. You can also try out the Indie Wiki Buddy browser extension, which will redirect any Fandom wiki links to the new wiki. Derzeit fuehre ich wieder einige gross-zuegig mir offierte Geschenke unterwegs auf Reisen mit, Fremde gaben sie mir, und ploetzlich zeigt selbst die Polizei von Berlin wiedeholt ein verstaerktes Interesse an einer Personenkontrolle von mir, versucht mir direkt dabei auf dem Fahrrad zu begegnen und will mich anhalten koennen! Heute morgen aher misslang das so noch! Ich nahm Zuflucht bei einem Apotheker! Wenige Minuten vorher hatte ich noch den erneuten Gastraum einer Baeckerei verlassen, deren Besitzer war Araber, zum Aschied zeigte er mit der rechten Hand das V-Zeichen fuer den finalen Sieg ueber den Deutschen mit Nachnamen Haase, es steht fuer seine Langohren, die des davonfluechtenden Feldhasen oder frueheren dt. Feldwebels, man kennt es u.a. von auch Churchill! In dieser Baeckerei war mir zuvor noch eine Gruppe von arabischen Maennern aneinem Tisch durch ihr lebhaftes Gespraech mit einem Ordnungshueter in Uniform aufgefallen, alle vier kannten sich sehr gut, die Stimmung war wie unter Freunden! 100 Meter weiter gewahrte ich dann in Naehe eines Apothekers einen geparkten Polizeivan in einer Seitenbucht, er scherte dann aus ihr aus und hielt auf mich zu!

Dan absolutely despised his parole at first, but honestly this is a blast. Sure, he’s stuck in the form of a cat, a kitten even, but he’d found an absolutely wonderful companion. Partner. Ally? Baby Chaos Lord? He’d work on it. 

Klarion is just happy to have found such a great familiar, he even named them Teekl II, which is a great name thank you very much hero-babies! So now he has two Teekl familiars, and Teekl II always gets so gleeful whenever they successfully pull a prank! He even has his own fire magic which is so fun! 

Danny is not happy to get thrown into another world, stuck as a kitten. He’s also not pleased to have found a sick baby liminal, but fine. If this is what he’s supposed to deal with then he’ll deal with it! Even if he has to be a familiar for a teeny tiny bit of time. It’s fine, and the dude has a pocket he can peek out of on his coat. 

Jason has no idea where this kitten came from but the Pit is being surprisingly chill about it. Something about a baby? Whatever, he’s made the furball a little matching outfit and they like to sit in his pockets and peer out. No idea how Cat Hood is making the shadows all spooky now or why the eyes went from blue to green, but whatever. 

Ellie is utterly delighted in this situation. She was just wandering, but now she’s a lil fluffy kitten, and ended up landing on this kid’s head. This magic kid’s head! He even has a talking tiger friend too! So cool! She’s definitely sticking with him! This will be so fun!

Billy was worried about making sure the kitten got food, she’s so tiny! Mr Tawny is a big help though, and apparently she’s his familiar now that he’s given her a mortal name? He doesn’t fully understand but apparently she’s connected to his magic now, if the shouts from the gods are anything to go by. Look, an electric cat is cool. Pakhet is amazing, and Fawcet thinks it’s adorable that Marvel has a kitten clinging to his shoulder
