Tim has moments of trauma flashbacks where he reverts back into Joker Junior.
Just starts laughing uncontrollably, eyes glassy, dissociating and in a constant state of smiling creepily, flinching at every loud noise, and cheering when bad things happen.
The only thing that calms him in times like these is being hugged/cradled/soothed by Bruce or Babs. Others have tried, but their touch doesn't work.
He just sits in their lap as they work, rubbing his back and whispering words of comfort, until his laughing turns into sobs and he just fully collapses against them as they just hold him, rocking back and forth and whispering that he’s safe now, that they’ve got him.
When the tears run out and he’s wrung dry, he’ll slip away, head to his room and try to forget. They don’t follow. They want to, but they don't.
They don't talk about it, but maybe a new gadget or piece of tech, or improved device or nuclear codes will be waiting for them on their desk the next day,
Or maybe Tim will brew one of his special, extra strong cups of coffee for them after a particularly long patrol.

Alright, here is part one of the horror binary star x reader series. This is just the beginning. Setting up the scene and give life to the people in the story! So, enjoy. Drawing at the end! I like to illustrate my stories, a scene or two! Just one this time.
⚠️ warning: manipulation⚠️ (the list will grow later on in the future chapters.)
The star at night
Part one: Setting up
The “warehouse” hummed with chatter and plotting as you entered the familiar confined space. You always called it the warehouse but it wasn’t really a grand warehouse that most would imagine. It was just a storage unit. A place where old cameras didn’t work as the signs say they did, low pay, and few people. In short, calling it the warehouse felt like an inside joke. The orange shutter slid down with ease as you lowered it to the ground softly. “Well look what the cat drug in.” A familiar voice expressed with joy. Without turning around you knew it was Joe. Turning around he was already waiting for you to embrace and so you did. “You’re late Snat.” Snat was a code name he gave you. Short for snatcher. Joe pulled away with a hardened stare. Chastising you with his eyes. “You can’t keep being late. I expect better from you.” He definitely was getting on to you. “Joe, lay off my love.” The voice of Carol carried in the space. “I’m sure work didn’t let you go early with all the sick people you told me about. Especially having to deal with that traffic after.” She stated with a smile and a wink making you smile.
Carol and Joe were older, Joe being 63 and Carol being 65. Joe had silver hair cut into an undercut with spiked hair on top, he maintained his physique well, wrinkles, crows feet, laugh lines, the whole bit. He definitely has good genes and takes good care of himself. Thick hair, all the good stuff. Carol had a very similar circumstance, good genes. Her hair was grey, a bob that curled at the ends, framing her thin face nicely. She was just as fit too. It was amazing how well they rubbed off of each other, been married for about 43 years. Met young through friends, been together since then. Almost a fantasy in this day and dating pool.
Joe and Carol were like your second parents. About three years ago, you moved to the city for reasons you still didn’t really want to acknowledge. You didn’t want to remember nor share. Money was hard to come by but the new start was worth it to you. Desperately needed. You don’t even remember how you met them, you just remember how safe they made you feel. Cared for when you had no one else. The married couple invited you to dinner, movies, and eventually bringing in the people who were part of the group as hangouts. Then after a few months, you were told about the heist group. What they did behind the scenes. At first, you were upset, they were such nice people. A good group of people but they stole some serious things of high value. Jewels, paintings, all of it. Eventually, you were convinced to join it. Offering to make your life better, have money to pay rent and have what you want in life. Slowly, you eased into the role of being the snatcher. Moreover, eventually you felt a thrill from it. An adrenaline rush that made you feel alive. The feeling of getting away with crime made you feel on top of the world to some degree.
“You should take it from her paycheck for her tardiness.” Kent said flatly, earning a glare from you. “Easy there, no need to shoot daggers at me, it’s just a suggestion.” Kent sighed with his hands up feigning innocence. Kent was your worst enemy but also your best friend. Like an older brother that bothered the fire out of you any chance he could get. He’d been here long before you, 36, and his job was the look out. “You are a jerk.” Mary said, punching him in the shoulder, making you laugh in return. Mary was our tech wizard. Smart and sweet. “Come have a seat, we’ve been waiting for you. Even brought a charcuterie board.” Carol beckoned you to the empty seat. The snacking and plan run down beginning.
“This is our biggest project yet.” Joe started with excitement evident in his tone. Looking at Carol, her crowd feels becoming more defined with the smile on his face. As if there was a small secret between them. More than just a loving glance. “Mable’s Museum.” He dropped the title like a bomb shell. Your jaw dropped and you swear you heard Mary gasp audibly. “Seriously?!” Kent exclaimed. “That’s a seriously tall order. That place is popular and there is a lot of valuable stuff there. Like, that’s crazy.” Carol chuckled. “We’ve been planning this one for a while.” Another glance between the two. You can’t help but wonder, if something more was actually happening behind the scenes. It was undeniable that there was something else.
Joe continued on, “tomorrow is the night we execute it.” Mary chirped in, “isn’t that really soon? Too soon?” Joe shook his head. “Of course not, I have full faith in this team. We can do this with ease.” Mary nodded, not seemingly fully convinced. Carol picked up where Joe left off. “This museum had many exhibits, medieval, paintings, statues, and many other valuable things. However, there is only one thing that we are after. In the hero exhibit. The mask of the retired hero, Steel Sheriff is there. Well take it. It sells well.” Brows furrowed, you inquired, “what about the NAHA? Wouldn't they be all over that if it went missing?” It seemed like a very ambitious thing to go after…no. A foolish thing to go after. “We don’t have to worry about that. As soon as we obtain it, we have a buyer who will meet up with us. We'll take it directly to them.” Joe assured you and the rest of the table.
Somehow, that didn’t bring you peace. Just an odd sinking feeling you couldn’t quite explain. “So, Mary, you’ll be in charge of redirecting the cameras.” Carol began speaking as she pulled out the layout of the museum on a large piece of paper. Placing it on the round table. “We’ll stick to this middle hall, directly accessed through the front of the museum. The cameras are here, here, and here.” Carol’s slender finger glided across the paper with ease and confidence. Joe picked up the conversation. “This is the exhibit, there are a total of seven cameras in the room. I’ve circled them for you. You’ll need to hack the severity system and make it a looping video if we can. Covering our tracks. The night guard doesn’t do too good of a job of guarding. Sleeps often. Two very long naps. He’s only awake one hour out of the night. That’s what we’ve observed, so it should be easy. Is your Roel clear?” Mary nodded, “Got it.”
Carol's gaze shifted to settle on Kent. “Okay, you are the look out, you will watch the front and down the hall. That’s it, keep it tight and do not wander.” This was serious, really tight. No room for failure. “Sure thing, don’t wander. Got it.” He gave a smile and thumbs up. Joe spoke up, regarding you. “You, are going
To help Carol get the mask. I will be watching outside, patrolling the outside of the building. We’ll start at 1:30 am sharp. Be. On. Time.” Kent let out a snort. “Better make sure (y/n) can do that. You know…since she’s got a “normal” job and better things to do.” Rolling your eyes you retort. “Well at least she I’m not unemployed and living in my moms spare bedroom cause I blow through my money.” Kent went quiet making you feel a small hint of guilt in your chest. “Please, you aren’t children.” Carol sighed. “Dismissed.”
Just as you got up to leave, so crackers and pepperonis in hand Joe whistled to snatch your attention. “Not you. You stay.” Without missing a beat Kent erupted into a series of ooooohs and aaaaahs as if you were in trouble. Mary giggled in response. “Out you two. We’ll see you tomorrow.” The shutter door slid up and the two left. Once out of earshot, you speak up. “What is this about?” You ask them. The two look at each other before settling their attention on you. Joe began “I wanted to be the one to tell you. Wanted you to be the first to know before the other two.” Brows furrowed in contrition you reply. “Tell me…what exactly.” There was a moment of silence before your world shifted. “Laying all the cars out on the table, this is our last heist. It’s time for us to retire. We are hoping to rekindle our relationship with our daughter and…we think you should take over.”
Your mind drew a blank, sure, it made sense. Quit, retire, try and fix the relationship of their kin. Their daughter, they only spoke of her seldomly. She didn’t agree with their thieving lifestyle. There was a whole screaming fight that ended poorly. So, about four years ago at eighteen their daughter, Carmella, left. As far as you were aware she lived in the same city. That was all fine in your eyes, made sense but you leading? Taking control of the whole group? Planning all future heists? That was a big pill to try and choke down. “Uh, okay…I…me lead? Sure, retire, that's fine but me? Take your place? That’s a huge role to fill. I don’t think I can do that.” You argue your view.
Carol looks at you with a loving gaze. Darling, you have been with us for a while now. We’ve been teaching you everything from the start. Everything that we know. In the past few years you’ve even surprised us with your own skill and quick thinking.” Joe nodded in agreement. “Don’t seek yourself short. You are art, quick, and we know you would do absolutely everything in your power to keep everyone safe. In your care, we just know that you are a leader.” Their words were kind, heck, they made you feel as if you could do anything you wanted but, there was still doubt in your heart and mind. Before you could respond Carol whispered. “I need to see my daughter. My Carmella.” Those words, the pleasing look in her eyes made your heart overcast with guilt. How could you say no? Who are you to deny them what their hearts desire? Pushing down the uncertainty you agree. “Okay. I can do it.” Joe smiled. “Glad to hear it. Don’t worry too much. We won’t throw you to the wolves. We’ll be on call, help with planning if needed.” Carol nodded, In agreement. “We knew you wouldn’t let us down. Dismissed.” She finally dismissed you from the meeting.
As you began your small journey to your car while nibbling on the pepperonis that left a greasy feeling on your fingers, you were left with confliction. Tomorrow was a hefty task, and leading is a huge shift in your world. You l or them though, you owe them right? They gave you so much when you needed it. Of course you would do it. They needed you.
Earlier that day 10:01 pm
Ray slid the sweatpants up his waist and adjusted accordingly. The shower was much needed after todays to-do list and side mission on the way. Interviews, rescuing people from a hostage situation in some bank, and the cherry on top? Hershel was trying to convince him to take another trainee. Long day. Ray didn’t put much effort into dinner. He craved simplicity tonight. What was more simple than a sandwich? The sandwich wasn’t fancy, just spinach, ham, and whatever else he felt like. Wolfed it down and called it good. He felt tired. He craved rest, good thing his day off was tomorrow.
Cleaning up after himself, Ray brushed his teeth and finished up his night routine. Today was done. No more suffering. Ray stilled in the middle of his room. The space was minimal. He never cared to make his home a home. He’s hardly home anyway. Bland was the word he would use to describe it. It was quiet. A sweet contrast to the constant noise of the day. Tonight, everything seems a little quieter outside. Usually off putting but, he’ll take it anyway. Maybe the city does sleep sometimes. However, in the quiet there was something deeper. Loneliness. The kind of loneliness that grip at his very flesh daring to pull him apart if he thought about it too much.
Before Ray could shove the feelings out of his heart and mind, his phone rang. An obnoxious sound that he dreads, more so than usual as of late. “You can’t be serious,” Ray said aloud to himself, his voice and chest filling with annoyance. Grabbing the phone he sat on the edge of his bed, the bed dipping with a small squeak. “Yes?” He already knew. Hershel. “To things, I’m sending you the file on
The trainee for you to look over. I want you to reconsider.” Rats pushed his hand through his hair before resting both of his elbows on his knees. “What else.” If Ray at least pretended he’d look over the file, give it a few days, say no. They would give the trainee to someone else. Hopefully.
Hershel spoke again. “I need you to work tomorrow's night shift.” Anger immediately bubbled up in his chest, burning in his stomach. “No. Tomorrow is my day off. I am not clocking in.” Hershel didn’t miss a beat, “exactly Ray, your day off. Not night.” There was a silence before Ray cursed under his breath at the audacity. Ray could easily snap this old man’s neck like nothing and call it a day. He could help the smirk on his face at the thought before replying. “Why should I Hershel?” He inquired with challenge. “People are getting or comfortable Ray. Crime rate is on the rise again. We need another “accident” to reel it back in.” Ray grimaced, the implications are clear. This is the last thing he wanted to do. It was more work than he wanted to put in. Was it even worth it? What if he wanted to let it all go. Let chaos ensue?
“I’ll give you the next two days off.” Hershel bargained. Ray knew better than to believe that empty promise. “Try again.” Ray felt frustrated, and didn't even try to mask it in his tone. A sigh came from the other side of the phone call. “I won’t put you on night shift for the next two nights and I’ll push your interviews and photoshoots back two days as well. That should be more than fair.” Ray considered for a moment. It was as good as he could get so, might as well take it. “Fine.” With that, he hung. Up and let the device float over or the nightstand as he laid. In his bed. So much for a day off. He thought before drifting to sleep.

Okay so, here is the way that I hope Everbyte will eventually change Moonvale in the future.
There are some minor spoilers :)
I hope that they'll change the interface to look a little bit more like Duskwood's old one. Yes, I know Moonvale is its own separate game, but considering the Duskwood code and the fact that these stories happen in the same universe, the Mc's should be using the same messenger. I think it would look smart if the new messenger looked like it had updated to add extra features over that month Mc spent obsessing over the events at Duskwood. They can keep those like contact bubbles at the top to further separate it from Duskwood's old version of the messenger. Furthermore, they should bring back the design of the old profiles with some additional features so we can customize our profiles, with our galleries, and look at the other characters.
Now, with the mini-games right now, they don't currently hold much meaning in the scheme of this story. In Duskwood, we only really had the cloud to hack into Hannah's cloud and it was restricted to that, so it wouldn't make sense for the mini-games to be used as a hack tool again. Rather, I think it would be neat if the mini-games were a way for Mc to do 'deep dives'/research. Every once in a while, like receiving photos and documents from Hannah's cloud, Mc could have the chance to uncover relevant articles and maybe some other cryptic stuff. Logical reasoning for things in Duskwood was one of the things that I loved about it. I loved that everything had a logical explanation behind it to further immerse us in the story with how realistic It got. This is, unfortunately, not how I feel about Moonvale currently. It is seriously lacking realism.
With those new themes that Everbyte said they were going to be adding to Moonvale, I hope that they won't be using AI. I think it is one of the main things holding the game back and I believe that if they continue to use it, they will lose support and their current rating in the app stores will remain the same. This also remains true for the diamond system. Now, I think diamonds should be restricted to being used to skip mini-games while optional to use to unlock the story. People who want to pay for a multi-media pack, pay, those who want to use the diamonds, use the diamonds. Of course, everything bought in-game with the diamonds should REMAIN UNLOCKED when restarting an episode. Also, Everbyte should downsize the coins and diamonds so they're not as distracting. Maybe make them about the size the coins in Duskwood were at the corner, and maybe change the diamond's color from purple to white so they look more discreet. I don't want our game to look too much like a game. That was why Duskwood got so popular.
For the secret chats, when it comes to those using the side story, I think those can just be chalked up to still having Jake's stuff on Mc's phone, but, the secret chats should pop up through notification rather than how they do now. It's way too abrupt and unrealistic. Now, for those playing without a code, it could be that Mc in Moonvale is simply more tech-savvy than Duskwood's Mc. This is seen when Vega was brought up (which, if I'm being honest, I probably nerd out as much as Mc did about it. When Eric described what it looked like, I immediately thought that it was a tracking device, and when it was confirmed through a search, I got giddy about it when I got to explain it to Eric. :)). Either way, a smart explanation for why Mc can read those chats needs to be in order.
Anyway, that's all I can think of for now. :)

Rise Character Analysis: Kendra!
Ch 1: Meet Kendra
Ch 2: Kendra's Major Traits
Ch 3: Kendra's Relationship With Others
Ch 4: Theories
Alright, I'm bored and I wanna do a character analysis on a Rise Character, but seeing as the turtles, April, Splinter, and Cassandra have been done many times, let's target Kendra!
Just so you know, I am not a certified psychologist, but psychology has been my life long interest. I may get things incorrect and this is all my perspective on what's going on. If you have any disagreement, please engage! I would love to hear everyone's thoughts as long as it's done in a respectable manner (as in don't go calling me or others a dumb*ss and stuff)!
Everything is below under the cut due to length
Ch 1: Meet Kendra
Kendra, who is she? Well, she's the leader of the Purple Dragons and is a well known rival (as well as a very popular head canon love potential) of our one and only purple tech turtle, Donnie. What's her end goal? We... actually don't really know. All we know is that she wants to steal a device that can just give her instant access to hack into any computer and we don't know what else
We first see Kendra in The Purple Jacket with her group taken over a part of the highschool's computer room, which gives us a hint towards their specialty. Right away before we even meet her, we see two students behind her, Jeremy, and Jason dealing with nasty wedgies, a classic way of showing that these are the bullies of the school. April even refers to them as "Stuck up jerks who think they're smarter than everyone else"
Some major skills that Kendra (as well as Jeremy and Jason) uses is programming, coding, hacking, and modification. We see this multiple times, but the biggest example has to be The Purple Game when they used a video game and somehow attached a giant robot to it that also has an AI that studied Donnie's gaming style should things go wrong. Oh, and they hacked into Donnie's computer just to gloat
Kendra and the rest of the Purple Dragons appear to mostly use hardware hacking, which is basically hacking into the physical computer, although they do have some knowledge of software hacking as well
I will mention that they appear to have some idea of making drones and such, but not very advanced as seen in Breaking Purple when Kendra complains that their (Jason's) drone isn't good enough for the drone race. So their skills lean more towards hacking and modifying rather than building things (which kinda makes me wonder where they got the giant robot for The Purple Game as well as the security bots from Mind Meld. Maybe it's just the show being a little inconsistent, who knows)
Outside of school, Kendra, Jeremy, and Jason are still trouble makers, but mostly pulls annoying pranks like throwing food into people's mouths who fell asleep in a theater, which is wildly tame compared to the scene right before it where apparently they used actual tasers during laser tag (no seriously, compare that scene with what we see in Operation: Normal)
Ch 2: Kendra's Personality
Kendra is confident
Often we see Kendra present herself in a highly manner. The best example is when she reveals herself in The Purple Game, saying, "We meet again Bootyshaker9000. Or should I call you Othello Von Ryan? Or should I call you Donnie?" and ignores Donnie's comment about being in house arrest to continue to gloat
We also know that Kendra and the other dragons consider themselves smarter than everyone else through April and the fact that even Kendra herself said that she and her group is the "Greatest hacking duo"
Kendra is uncaring
Kendra is confident in her own plans so much so that when things go wrong, she becomes extremely angry and also blames others for it but then quickly bounces back, announcing that she will be back (which kinda makes me think of an old cartoon villain)
Kendra is intelligent
The one thing that can not be denied is her intelligence. She's clearly smart enough to help her teammates with hacking into a system to get a code and knows how to work with software and coding
I will say I think her intelligence seems to lean a little more into Leo smart, where she knows how to manipulate the people around her to get what she wants, but she is able to work on her own if she has to
While actually meeting her, Kendra pretends to not know who April is, even though the latter pointed out that they've known each other since Kindergarten. Another hint shown is later on in the same episode when she willingly leaves Jason and Jeremy behind for the sake of stealing a code from the Nakamura company
Also the race she persuaded Shelldon into participating is apparently potentially deadly. We get this from the scene with Malinowski and Repo Mantis when they talk about drones participating in the race and many ending up as scrap metal and in the actual race when things like saw blades are being used as obstacles
Kendra is charismatic
Once again, this is shown in The Purple Jacket when she tricks Donnie into revealing their technology, only to use their own tech for her own goals
This was shown again in Breaking Purple when Kendra takes advantage of Shelldon while he was at a low point and tricked him into thinking he was part of the team in order to have him participate in a race that would give the winner the Shadow Transmitter
Kendra is sadistic
Kendra tried to destroy Donnie's siblings both through wanting to see them do it to quickly switching it to wanting the joy of seeing Donnie's reaction to her destroying their siblings
Kendra is impatient
The one thing that everything Kendra keeps trying to steal have in common is that they would supposedly get her into any computer instantly. Even though she herself does coding. And she also steals tech (specifically Donnie's tech as well as robbing electronic stores) to get to her goal quicker
Kendra also values her own time a lot. She wants to get things done as quickly as possible. She can be seen interrupting conversations and telling those involved to wrap it up if she feels like her time is being wasted. One example is when she tells Jeremy and Donnie to "Can the bromance" and in a later episode interrupts Jeremy when he tries to explain the AI in the game they made for Donnie
Kendra is irritable
This can go hand in hand with her being impatient as Kendra becomes angry when her patience is running out. Kendra is often seen snapping at someone, using that fear she puts on them to keep them in line. We mostly see this with her and Jason, but I go into that more later in the post
Though most of all, she gets upset when things don't go her way, like when she got angry at Shelldon for failing to get the Shadow Transmitter, calling him a "Useless drone"
Now with all that, how does Kendra see herself? Well, we know she sees herself as the greatest hacker and also refers to herself and her group "misunderstood teens that don't play by the rules" but considering she's constantly talking with a sinister tone, I genuinely can't tell if she's aware of how bad she can be and doesn't care or she doesn't see what's wrong with what she does. I'm inclined to assume the latter considering all we know about her so far
Another thing to note, despite her love to gloat, Kendra is pretty quiet when it comes to talking about how her tech works. At least compared to Jeremy who jumps at the chance to explain how things works. Maybe she doesn't want anyone to steal what she does?
Ch 3: Kendra's Relationship With Others
Donnie:
At first Kendra did not care about who Donnie is. If Donnie hadn't stopped her from robbing the Nakamura company, she probably would've continued to not care about them, but they forced themself outside of being viewed as a pawn, and is now viewed as the enemy. And what does Kendra do in retaliation? She tries to trick them into destroying their siblings
In turn, Donnie did have a genuine interest in joining her group (and also getting that purple jacket), but that was quickly diminished when she stole their tech. Because of it, Donnie usually seen trying to stop Kendra from stealing any other codes or devices, and even warned Shelldon about her and the other Purple Dragons before he even met the group
April:
Now technically we have no idea what relationship Kendra had with April. However, what interests me is April's reaction to Kendra. She just seems so done, almost as though she witnessed Kendra being Kendra for way too long or she was also screwed over by Kendra at some point in her life
Even when Donnie's stuff got stolen, she just wasn't surprised, at all
And it contrasts how she is towards Taylor, another cool girl character who's a bit of a jerk, but April was more wanting to impress her
But this is all purely speculation, so I can't really confirm anything
Jeremy:
The closest Kendra considers an equal. He goes along with Kendra's antics without much of a fuss and is the one Kendra is the nicest towards. He doesn't even seem to mind whenever she expresses frustration over something
Even still, she tends to quickly shut him down when he tried to engage in conversation with Donnie and explain how the Purple Game worked
There's not much I can say due to there not being too much screen time for him
Jason:
So Jason is the weaker link of the group. He's the one that Kendra treats more harshly and is barely considered a part of the group. We get this by Kendra snatching Jason's jacket to give to Donnie in The Purple Jacket and when she referred to the Purple Dragons as a duo rather than a trio (stating that Jason is on thin ice when he tries to correct her), and finally when she calls Jason the low man of the totem pole
Hell, Jason can barely have much of a happy moment without Kendra immediately knocking him back down. We get this from when he succeeds at bypassing the security in the Nakamura Simulator and she immediately says that he needs to be knocked down a peg and then when she reminds him that he's the low man after she agrees to let Donnie join
And surprisingly, we get some insight as to why. It turns out Jason is Kendra's stepbrother, and it's heavily implied that the only reason why he's even a part of the team is because of their parents. We get this when after Jason failed to get the Shadow Transmitter, Kendra says, "I wish my dad never married your mom"
Chapter 4: Theories
Okay, so a very common theory I've seen for why Kendra acts the way she does is because of her potentially dealing with a divorce
It does explain why she has a need for constant control. It explains why she's into hacking and modifications. It explains why she's always trying to get her hands on a code or a device that could hack into any computer. It's also possible Kendra learned how to be manipulative starting with her parents
What it doesn't explain is, why the ability to hack into any computer specifically?
Now, I just want to also say that this obviously doesn't excuse anything. It doesn't excuse for how she treats Jason (who, may I remind you, is also dealing with the divorce as well). It's not an excuse for how she treats Jeremy. It's not an excuse for how she treated Shelldon. It's not an excuse for anything
Although that's all I can really say. Other than that, we have no idea what's actually going on in Kendra nor Jason's life. What I can safely say is that the parents are definitely not perfect because trying to force a relationship between anyone will most of the time completely fall apart
One thing I will note is how the only time Kendra has ever brought up the potential divorce thing was when Jason failed to get the Shadow Transmitter, and she doesn't say anything about a divorce, she instead specifically says, "I wish my dad never married your mom"
Overall Thoughts:
All 'n all, depending on your own experience, Kendra is basically the typical a-hole high school bully (or semi-typical)
Despite me having barely anything nice to say about her, I like Kendra, especially as a character. I think she's a pretty interesting character, and honestly I would love to see how she would develop as a villain. And I say villain because I highly doubt that she's going to willingly change for the better anytime soon and honestly? That's perfectly fine with me
If the show does somehow continue and Kendra does get some kind of redemption arc, she'd be an anti-hero at best, and hopefully it's out of her choice and not because the writers decided to put in the "she was in love with Donnie this whole time" trope
So, thanks for reading!
Also, if you want an analysis and/or an opinion on any overall stories, ships, theories, characters, etc to the fandoms I'm in or familiar with, I might do it depending on what it is

S17 Ep5 post-watch recap
I have way too many thoughts, this is going to be long and probably disjointed.
So I feel like a lot happened, but at the same time not really? Overall though, so far I'm really here for this Gold Star mystery and the MK Ultra/behavior modification/Frankenstein's monster stuff around it, I just hope they commit to it? I know so far they've made it a point multiple times how it's a "conspiracy theory" and it's "based on a half-truth" and so on but at the same time things just don't add up? Most notably, if the government has nothing to do with this, why would they care enough to hide it? Who has enough influence to stage Emily's arrest etc?
Anyway, since this was very complex I'll try to break it down to characters.
Damien/Jade
Honestly? I'm really enjoying them so far? They have a fun dynamic?Wish I knew their actual ages, maybe it was shown and I just didn't pay attention. I think Aiden was around 26? So I'm assuming they are around the same , give or take 2-3 years. So these 2 meet up, 1 is dead ("assassinated by the FBI", which is an interesting way to phrase it. I wonder if that will come back on either Rossi or Emily. One giving the order, the other following it.) And Peter and Dana are 'missing', and we have no idea what they look like. Okay, cool.
So they are tech savy enough to operate Voit's network (wasn't that used to be a weather app lol? That whole comment on people posting their racist opinions on that neighbor app, which was featured in ep 3 too, seems like a reference that my not-american brain is not clicking with) and they can put together bombs. It was weird that nobody picked up on the fact that Jade has to be in the park to make that call? Why was everyone just standing in a circle and worrying when they could have sent people to scour the area lol All the while ignoring Voit who was at least smart enough to not run.
Voit
So Voit. This little shit. Every scene he was in I just kept repeating 'you little shit'. Very entertaining bordering on frustrating. His whole demeanor of being like a kid in candy store was funny I'll admit that. That first scene with him going "Dave Dave Dave" took me out. My dude is def dying by the end of the season tho. They can't keep him around for much longer. And I honestly can't tell if him doing morse code was meant to be noticed by the team or not. Because I'm thinking that he is in fact making up the identity of "North Star" and trying to get someone killed? Also, that reveal that he gave the identity of the strike team to Damien? Chef's kiss. He's truly Hannibal Lectering this season. Aaand he has a point with Garcia and Tyler and that whole fiasco last season. I'm glad they are bringing that up because that should have some kind of consequence. (Voit giving them a ship name tho? And talking about carbon footprints? I'm not sure I like him sounding like stan twitter. I mean it's obviously a reference for the fandom to get, but still. It's...a writing choice for sure.)
Garcia/Tyler/Luke
I'm lumping them together because the show is apparently committing to the love triangle bit. Which I'm not that big of a fan of, in general.
This might be an unpopular opinion but the more episodes we have the more I feel like the show doesn't really know what to do with Garcia this season? Like that entire exchange in her office, that ends up with them being back in the bullpen? It was...weird? So Voit smells, okay, cool, did we need to spend this much time on this? It honestly felt like a waste of time that didn't lead anywhere because we are back at the bullpen anyway? Like, narratively, what was the point here?
Luke is still not checking on JJ after throwing a bomb on her, cool lol. Love that he was the one deciphering the morse code tho, and that he dismantled the bomb. Love it when the show remembers character traits.
Tyler remains another frustrating part of this season for me? Everytime he does something where I go "hey cool, that's nice, I kinda like you" he immediately does something else where I go "okay, go fuck yourself now". Like, doing off-the-books work for Emily? Great, cool, love it. And then goes behind her back like it's nothing. So 'Teresa' might be an actual person, but the phrase could also be relevant? Maybe it's another anagram, idk. Either way he's warning someone while keeping Emily in the dark. In conclusion, I don't trust him lol.
Emily
So the framed arrest/mugshots are coming into play, that's great, I'm glad there was a point to that. (Weird choice to drop the name of an actual existing website as the leak but okay). Someone is really out to get her that is connected to this whole ordeal but there's no indication it's either Damian or Jade. Someone also convinced Brian to change face. Also, was he trying to gaslight her? Is that going to be a part of Emily's "breakdown arc" that she is questioning her own sanity? That could be interesting. Or, we are going full scifi and they made him somehow forget his previous alignments. Seems unlikely, but who knows. Anyway, she is on restricted duty and is clearly over it. Just, everything. Great scene by the end. She was going to back to her "spy roots" and moral grayness and it's slowly breaking her. Genuinely think she is one of the most complex characters of this entire show. (Shout out to her speaking Russian too. I know it's just a phrase but it's a nice callback.) Love her bond with Rossi as well. And just all her scenes, great. If there's a character I'm really happy with this season, it's Emily.
Rossi
Honestly not that much to talk about? For the audience this is not the first time he interacts with Voit, but great scenes. He is also losing it, clearly. Maybe I expected a bit more? Confusion, at least? As in, having a hard time differentiating with the real Voit and his halluciVoit?
JJ
I'm biting my fist every time JJ is on screen because I'm just so nervous how that is going to end. She is clearly not okay, everyone is dealing with something and not taking notice of her issues. Loved to see her in charge on the field. She was also the only one competent enough to finally tell someone to shoot the wheels, lmao.
Tara
Tara wasn't given a lot this episode tbh. She was aiding Luke, sure, but this may have been her least active episode. So we have the scene with Rebecca losing her shit, that she's in danger, okay. I mean, they are cute? Wish they would talk more instead, but cute scene at the end, none the less.
I have absolutely no idea where the next episode is going lol. I expected a cliffhanger, we didn't get a cliffhanger. Zero clue as to what comes next.

Susie finds the blob's code even more fascinating than what she got from the God Box shard...and also far more frustrating. With the God Box, there was some actual underlying structure beneath all the malware and corruption since, even if it was corroded and out-of-date now, it had originally been something. This stuff on the other hand seemed to be nothing more or less than a heaping pile of junk data that had fallen together just right to turn random bits back on, and yet the whole mess was somehow organized and aware enough to fight back against her prodding. And it's a smart little bugger too. But she's not just any run-of-the-mill hacker, ooooh no, she is President Susana Patrya FUCKING Haltmann and on her father's deleted soul she will find out what makes this slimy bastard Tick!
Anyway, while she's hyperfocused on the programming side of things everyone else is busy fighting against the Abyss blob's physical body as it tries to escape...and against all the Heartless outside the castle trying to get to the potent Dark presence they sense in the lab. Technically, doing this in Radiant Garden was a bad idea given the...Everything about the Kingdom Hearts universe, but most of the equipment they needed for this project was here and already set up and ready to go, the necessary tech that wasn't here was more easily portable than the tech that was (thank you, Haltmann-brand convenience), and Lag really wanted this to get done as soon as possible.
LMAOO I love this!! Susie being completely focused on figuring out the blob, what makes it tick and everything is so in character for her! It's going to give her a hard time, but like she said, she's a Haltmann and she'll figure it out.
And I'm just imagining this blob just throwing everyone around as it tries to escape, screeching and screaming the entire time as it does. And while most of the time, it's pretty unintelligible, there's one thing that's pretty clear.. "Daughter". Could it mean.. Abyssal?

Balancing IRL, Creativity, and Streaming: My Journey with Tech, AI, and More"
After this episode of the K-drama series I’m watching, I’ll stream. We’ll try out this Marvel game they’ve been emailing me about. We’ll also try @DeltaForce_Game another time.
The store where I bought my Beacon Studio emailed me saying they’ll start working on fixing my item. Once I get more information, we’ll be back on webcam and dual PC setup. Fingers crossed they fix or replace it.
I’ve been busy with IRL stuff, working on my blog and social media links. I even made one for my girlfriend, and she loved it. Her Carrd looks much cleaner and more advanced, with no watermarks. If anyone wants a Carrd made, I can do it, but I do charge for it. I made hers for free since we’ve been close friends for over two years. I put extra effort into hers, removing watermarks and improving the background design. It’s much more advanced compared to the basic ones I’ve done for others. For example, mine even has music playing, which requires some coding. I’m planning to switch it to a more relaxing track.
As for the last person I helped, I only gave them a basic design. Honestly, they didn’t deserve anything more since they were ungrateful. Being bald and ugly doesn’t make you smart, but I guess that’s why they needed my help.
Don’t bother with Linktree use  Carrd is far more professional. If you’re applying for sponsorships, it’s a better platform to showcase your work. One valuable lesson I learned from "the real worl" is to invest in yourself. I spent $50 on tips and tricks that have been worth every penny. I also learned how to create perfect AI animations. It’s all about crafting the right prompts. I see a lot  lazy, poorly made AI creations are everywhere, but with effort, you can create something amazing. Which they don't put in.
On top of that, I’ve been taking HTML coding courses. Learning new skills is always fun and rewarding.
Editing is the hardest part, and I just can’t find the time with so much on my plate. I’m hoping for an advanced AI video editor that can handle longer videos, like VODs, and automatically create highlights by recognizing the best moments. So far, there’s nothing like that available. We need an AI video editor that not only identifies key moments but also adds effects and cool transitions automatically. It should be able to process an entire video and do all the work for you. This kind of AI would make streaming much easier and be a game-changer for long-term video editing.

ACP cuck: The problem with you ultra leftists is you all actually despise revolution. You're never going to win white working class people over with "actually I want things to get worse for colonialists!"
Sarah: The blood of third world children can at the very least be paid back in your discomfort white boy.
Me: That's why we gotta sell them the rope they hang themselves with subtlety. Stalin Funko-Pops.
Sarah: Babe that's disgusting lol
Me: That's the point. Like, the economy improves for better countries, better cultures, and and dumbass incels are clapping their hands over some ethot sticking a Stalin Funko-Pop up her twat.
ACP cuck: And yet you call us the fascists. You're just exporting fascism.
Me: I'll be honest with you guys. I don't fucking care either way. The economy is fake, the only workers are lumpen, the tech is useless. Every facet of western society is just tiresome. Ultimately I don't care if y'all get nuked, starve to death, work forever in coal mines, the only thing I care about is this girl right here.
Sarah: That is some heavy handed hard-right individualism but awwww lol.
Me: Everything about you is perfect hon. And this society does not provide the means for me or anyone to give you what you deserve. I would plant a garden of flowers, some motherfucker wants to mow it down because the homeowners association says it's not up to code, I want to give you a legacy of children who love us, they make us send them to those clown schools and crush their spirits, the only reason I'm alive right now is you. And of course my unyielding rage.
Sarah: Baby... that's how I feel. I can't stand these infantile nazbols lol
ACP cuck: Nazbols?! You two are just nihilists! Like Jim, you say you wanna give Sarah all this stuff. How are you going to do that in a broken economy and destabilizing society? Cultural Marxism isn't real Marxism. It's liberalism.
Me: Ok imma bout to say something that makes me "lose frame" so all my incel homies are gonna lecture me about it, however the truth is I'm fucking pissed. I know I'm smart, beautiful, talented, cunning, ruthless, AMAZING
ACP cuck: wow... lol
Me: And yet I'm a fucking bum. I know it. Sarah loves me despite it. I know that too. But she shouldn't have too. She should have that perfect life, and I don't know how to give it to her. Why should anyone, anywhere, have anything, if she can't? If I can't?
ACP cuck: Again, that's liberalism.
Sarah: Well more so individualism.
ACP cuck: Whatever. My point is you should care about your fellow man. You should care about humanity in general. Jim you're the prime example of what alienation does to a motherfucker. You cannot see past what is good for you. Even Sarah. Who I'm not saying you don't love, you clearly do... Is just a proxy for all the things you need to convince yourself that you're a good person. Because humans need each other and you've genuinely trained yourself not to need anyone as an anti-social parasite. A sociopath. Like, that's why you've had so many failed relationships. Because you're longing for connection but can't bring yourself to admit maybe being an asshole to everybody isn't the answer. You think it's justice, it's just cruelty, you're being cruel to yourself.
Me: If there were anyone I'd be willing to admit maybe I'm in the wrong for, it's this wonderful bitch right here lol.
Sarah: (makes this weird noise)
Me: wth was that lol
Sarah: You are so fucking adorable yet say the most reactionary things ever lol. What's so special about me? Like, I'm mid-AF.
ACP cuck: Glad you said it and not me.
Me: Mid-AF? You're beautiful!
Sarah: Well yeah you think...
Me: No. Like, it isn't "oh man I wanna fuck her", I do, all the time. But "God has to exist to create something so perfect."
Sarah: You're blowing your hookah smoke up my ass but go on lol
Me: You're smart, you're aggressive, you're opinionated, you're absolutely ruthless to people and I love it.
ACP cuck: "wow, she's such a bitch. She's almost as evil as me..."
Me: You're God damn right. Life out there is hard, it's not worth it most of the time. Just dumbass people saying dumbass things. Every moment of their lives is a fake and gay psyop against themselves. No virtues, no ambitions, it's all for show. All of it. But Sarah is so genuine, and despite how people bitch and whine how mean and racist she is, she cares. Why she cares I don't know. But she cares about you, all of you, like a mother. Not like my parents who don't know how to give a fuck about anyone. But like a real mother. She lashes out because she wants more for all of you, where as I don't. I hate you. I could never forgive you for the things you've done to me or her. I will make sure you're suffering is cosmic like I have no mouth and I must scream, and you'll wear your shit grin and do it with a smile while you experience an agony only religion could begin to describe.
ACP cuck: The fuck did I do to you lol
Me: When you say some retarded gay shit like "you're not entitled to love" or "you can function without this or that" you know what I'm going through, and you think it's funny. It's gonna be fucking hilarious when you're working ten hours a day for pennies you fucking western piglet.
ACP cuck: Nigga I didn't say any of that. I'm sure your exes did or something and yes many people are stupid as hell. So you just wanna hurt everyone ever just to make sure you hurt the people who deserve to hurt?
Me: YES all need to hurt. Except Sarah.
ACP cuck: Sarah is gonna hurt too! Sarah is hurting and you're contributing to it!
Me: Out of a sense of justice. And the neat part? Sarah will forgive me. She'll still love me despite it. That's why she'll always be the better person and I just want the money and lavish status to spoil her so I can pretend I'm better than I actually am. And meanwhile she's the one ridiculed and bullied. Deep down Sarah is a good person. Deep down I'm not.
Sarah: Baby... You're not a bad person.
ACP cuck: I mean he pretty much is lol. I'll invent a new-term just for him. Serial-killer socialism.
Me: Based. I even got an anthem for it
youtube
Sarah: lol! You can't insult Jim!
ACP cuck: I was making an observation
Me: (mockingly imitating his voice) "I was making an observation" observe yo momma's fat titties
Sarah: LOL
ACP cuck: You know, I didn't have to let you speak. You can leave my mother out of your mouth.
Me: Will Smith over here... "Keep my mom's name out yo God damn mouth!"
Sarah: LOL omg I actually fell out of my chair lol
Me: Ya see that right there? That's Marxist value of labor.
ACP cuck: What? How?
Me: Look at her laughing. It makes me feel like the wealthiest man in the world to be smiling.
ACP cuck: Than you should strive to make society better to give her reason to smile.
Me: I'd rather make her smile at your momma's titties expense. OH NOOOOES THE MILKIES, THEY'RE EVERYWHERE don't worry momma I'll suck'em (slurp noises)
Sarah: LOL WTF
ACP cuck: Jesus Christ you are a spiritual liberal. Like you really are a Satanist lol

My OC has a darkish backstory. As it's not finalised his age jumps alittle and stuff
He's more to existing after IDW ect
As time of birth. Stuck with new born during sonic forces or born after. (Father dies in the war. Hents why he isn't seen but can be in the spin off stories)
Born as a normal. Orange fox... with 2 tails.
In the comic or say. Story. He's when he is first shown or seen by sonic he's this mute, non vurble poncho wearing combat tech wiz (only talks when in discuses. "Cloak Tech" cloaking what alows him to look and feel like who hes discussed as)
Als attitude changes to situations. When around eggman he's quite and just a shadow. But when alone he's depressed and would walk in circles. But when alone with sonic. First he'd been angry and upset that the heros he looked up to never saved him how he was scerd and alone. Hurting. But would would become more friendly and gets over the anger eventually
Only thing what's not been moderfied into his DNA is his smarts. Like Tails and Eggman he's super smart what made him as a child idolise Tails as a child. Even as a child he went out his way to get Tails attention and would have a little bonding over the fact of being kinda alike with tails and smarts
Like like how a child is he'd say "when I'm older, I want to be juts like you!"
Shame what happened due to his mother having no love for him. Lead to him being toutcherd and experimented on
His purple fur is just a side affect of the experiments
As sonic to be 15 around the age Al is born. This all takes place (idk to chose his age. I'd go 9 years old but then I'm going with 12)
I'll age the charicters to age when the story would take place. Left be if Al is 9 and right be of he's 12
Sonic: 24-27
Tails: 17-20
Knuckles: 25-28
Shadow: don't matter. But. 59-62
Rouge: 27-30
Cream: 15-18
Al in the story would be more like how rouge was but is in eggmans contole. His poncho around his neck hides a collar what is fitted to shock him back to submission. He isnt a bad guy.
His gauntlet shock to make his punches hurt more (this is so he can pull his punches but still hurt but not actually hurt anyone to baddly) but can also just make hard punches sting more. Shock you so you pass out like a taser
Tumblr media
His mental health isn't the best. From toutcher what gaves him his code name (113). To being unloved for years. Known the world things Alvis Winter is dead. He thinks the is no hope or future for him but he just can't give up and wants to know what he can do
Als redemption comes to after being abandoned by eggman after being defeated by super sonic and shadow and tails (Yeah ima go there). Eggman gives up on Al. Als fears and everything make him panic and as the 3 get closer he escapes
Stuff happens but tails as a idea where Al could of gone
(Moment of Al kidnaps Tails and well opens abit about him and Tails is thr first to fully know Al is forced to be bad)
They meet. Bring Al with them. The city and town folk hate him. Al runs off
Mimic and surge and kit kidnap sonic (FYI I've had this 3 team up for abit in my head for few month before the 3 actually did so. Cool)
(Al has a bounty on him)
Only Al can come and or sonic would die
Al stops them. Get bit of a hero scene of Al the hero. He was told to take his poncho off before any interaction in the bunker. so be a kinda first site of him doing his thing with no poncho
The news and live feed if this be seen by all and well this how he is from 113 the bad guy to 113. Good guy? Taken in by sonic and others but keeps inside and works on tech and only comes when asked or needed
Would wear the poncho but hood down there for but also gose around with hood up or no poncho at all
Kinda the run down and very simple missing load if detail of Als story and some facts. Main story
Hope it's okay and sorry if it's a mess to read
I missed out his powers. Would have to find out later

Plucking Easy Money From The Young Via Cool Tech
Fast Times and Cashless Highs: Technology’s Ode To Debt
“He who is quick to borrow, is slow to pay” - German proverb If you are young you are likely in too much of a hurry to read this and if you are older - can you remember what it was like to be young? Fast times and cashless highs: Technology’s ode to debt makes for thrilling reading. The young are in love with technology and this is a cashless highway to debt for the unwary. I picture a raceway, like Daytona, and lots of youthful racing car drivers revving their engines in anticipation of going around the bend. Young men and women risking life and limb to achieve victory over the slow lane. If you survey the top items on Santa’s gift list this year they will likely be the latest smart phone or high tech device, as they have been for the last decade or more. Humanity is in rapture with the fruits of technology, as we have always been. The Market’s Cut & Thrust Goes High Tech If you look back through history you will see remnants of swords and tools in museums, which were the technological offspring of metallurgy. The evolution from bronze to iron gives rise to the names of the various ages cataloguing historical eras. Of course, swords turned into guns and we all know where that has led us. The printing press, the Gutenberg press revolutionised the world in the fifteenth century and beyond. Books and pamphlets were no longer the exclusive domain of the elites. Ideas and change manifestoes were able to reach a much wider audience affecting shifts in world orders. Now, we have social media and fake news. Currently, we are in the grip of the communication and information zeitgeists and almost every Homo sapiens carries a portable device capable of these things. Touch a screen and ‘hey presto’ instant gratification. “Australians have made big moves away from cash over the past decade, with Reserve Bank of Australia's 2016 consumer payments survey showing only 37 per cent of consumer payments are made in cash today compared to 69 per cent a decade ago.” - (Mitzen, 2018) “According to PwC research, almost half the world’s digital payments in 2017 were made in China, where apps such as Alipay and WeChat Pay let consumers pay for nearly everything with their smartphones. The adoption of QR codes and explosion of e-commerce has led to a decline in the use of cash, particularly in urban China.” - (Hutt, 2019) The Cashless Swipe Into A Debt Trap “Creditors have better memories than debtors.” - Benjamin Franklin Economists will tell you that it is the exchange of produce and money that has enabled the growth of civilisations across the ages. Buying and selling stuff is at the heart of our global domination, according to them. Technology has been in the service of the market since the beginning of time. It is the market which has financed the research and development of technologies across the globe. The young are always the first to embrace new technologies, as they seek harbingers of their own hegemony. Our youthful citizens bear no attachment to a past they did not share. Progress will race across the surface of the earth fleet footed in search of market expediency. It is cool to carry no cash and swipe your phone’s screen, when conducting a transaction, in the twenty first century. The psychology of pixels forming numbers on a screen is very different to the sound and feel of hard currency in your pocket, however. Easy come, easy go, or is it a sense of it never being real in the first place and perhaps, never really having been in your possession? Anyway, things are moving along so rapidly there is no time to waste on philosophical reflection. Fast times and cashless highs: Technology’s ode to debt mounts up like investors in Silicon Valley.  Humanity and the market are always in a hurry. There are victims, however, of the ever faster economy driven by technological innovation like cashless payment. Collateral damage, perhaps, as these young lives are corralled by debt cruelling their opportunities for a fulfilling future. Buying a home slips further out of reach of ordinary young Australians each day, it seems. Cont. WHAT I LEARNED ABOUT THE UMBARA ARC
Things I have come across, considered, or theorized, regarding Clone Wars the Umbara Arc.
# REGARDING THE 501ST / TORRENT COMPANY - FIVES Dude is the sanest man here. Yes, that includes Rex. Fives is literally the Everyman, the Good Man that goes to war. Everything about Fives is how a Sane but Confident and Good Person is suppose to do and how they would reasonably act, given all they’ve experienced.
And Gods is he brutal. He swipe-kicked an Umbaran, and blasted the fucker point blank.
He talked back to Krell on several occasions, first one resulted in a Lightsaber within Shaving Distance. He went behind the backs of the chain of command, but still respected Rex enough to tell him what he was going to do (and Rex even covered him).
And even in the face of Execution, he’s the Optimist to Jesse’s Cynic. In a final ditch effort, he pulls a speech for all his brothers. He sees people as what they are: Persons, each and everyone. And from the Start, knew Krell was a fuckin Bastard.
Fives is Smart too. Dude learned how to Fly an Umbaran ship, and Umbaran Tech is as alien as it gets (s’like trying to translate a Star Trek consol).
- JESSE Seems to be a Republic Fan considering he literally tattooed the Republic’s Symbol on his face and painted it on his helmet.
Dude is Snarky and Sassy. A dangerous combination. He makes snarky quips, is cynical in the face of execution, and even does the sassy hand on hip thing.
He’s also, apparently, either part Technician or part Hacker. Capable of cracking Umbaran Codes, if Fives’ good natured shoulder punch was any indication.
- KIX The Medic, and gods it could not have been easy to deal with all those causalities.
- HARDCASE Love Hardcase. Dude’s got explosions and fighting on the mind, his answer to a problem with guns is to bring a bigger gun. He’s got a one track mind, and Fives had to reign him in several times.
He’s definitely friendly enough, and takes things as they come, which suggested he had simple expectations and simple desires.
... Gonna miss him.
- TUP For all the “Tup was Innocent” I kept hearing, Tup is pretty much an Anxious New Guy. While being anxious about Krell is the reasonable reaction, if not the understatement, Tup brings anxiety to a new level.
He holds on to dear life while in transport with both hands, he’s fairly hopeless in most situations (brings to mind “We’re DOOMED!”  by C3-P0) [And let’s face it, Tup has good reason to be hopeless about stuff].
Fairly cynical, but in the way that new folk are cynical to the possibility of new outcomes. Kamino must’ve been hard on the kid.
- DOGMA ... I have reason to believe that Dogma’s chip was partially activated.
What starts to be just a young soldier following things to the letter, dives into a route of insanity that cannot be explained away. At least, by my perceptions. (Believe what you want, this is my article of stupidity, go get your own stupid if you don’t like it)
Sure, supporting Krell’s plans in the beginning just indicated that he was being idiotically naive. Sure, a fear of getting into trouble can drive someone to jump the chain if they feel something has gone wrong. He even got Tup in on it. This suggests youth, anxiety, and the unfortunate idea that he would have to learn things the hard way-- we’ve been there.
But Dogma was There when the Clone Transmission came in regarding Umbarans taking Clone Equipment. He was There when the 501st and the 212th attacked each other.
And yet, Dogma takes up a blaster against his own brothers, AFTER THAT ATTACK (FOR WHICH HE WAS PRESENT FOR THE BRIEFING OF AND FOR THE EVEN ITSELF), and screams that they’re all Traitors?
Its not like Dogma isn’t reasonably Smart. After a certain point, this stops being Anxiety and Desperation talking, and starts being something else.
It puts all other actions under a new light. Such as his rather robotic actions when he was first introduced-- they were on a battlefield, why the hell is he showing off a crisp and serious about-face / heel-turn like he’s in a fuckin Uniform Inspection?
And how he shoots Krell. Yes, it does look like a snapping point and you wouldn’t be wrong to take it as such. But by that point, he was using “Traitor” an awful lot.
... It makes sense to theorize that Dogma and Tup were apart of the same Batch. It seems that their entire Batch must’ve had Bad Chips. Wonder if that tumor killed the others...
- REX Man has the patience of a saint, but you’d have to when working with Skywalker.
I can’t blame him for the orders he received from Krell. Rex was in the worst position during the worst circumstances. If he defied orders too much, he ran the risk of court-martial or worse, and then his company and legion would be left to the mercies of Krell. If he tried to lessen the blow, he still would get chewed out by his company for following Krell.
He tried to justify it. Who wouldn’t when you’re between a rock and a hard place? When you know what’s around you is Wrong, but if you don’t do what you’re told, it could get worse. Of course you’d justify it. You’d do to stay sane.
He was the Honorable Man in the worst position.
- PROTOTYPE The thing about Season 7, is that it takes place years after Clone Wars was cancelled. Plenty of time to go back and sift through the old seasons, in order to build new ones when The Clone Wars was brought back to air.
And plenty of stuff in the Umbara Arc shows me that, y’know, Torrent Company was proto-Bad Batch.
You have Hardcase, who was basically Wrecker.
Jesse, who screamed Crosshair with that sass and snark. No wonder they didn’t like each other, they were quite a bit alike.
Rex, playing Hunter in both exhaustion, diplomacy, and nobody every being happy with anything he did.
Not sure who played the Tech here. Seems to have been divided between Fives, Jesse and Hardcase. Possibly Kix.
# KRELL
Let me just get my feelings out of the way.
We fuckin hate this asshole. Ever second he was alive on screen, I desperately wanted him dead. Dealing with him second hand is one of the worst experiences I’ve had with Clone Wars-- and I’m pretty sure he was written that way on purpose. I despise him. Wish he got shot sooner. The death tolls, the disregard, we saw how many new ways a Clone could die and ITS THIS BASTARD’S FAULT.
*ahem*
But that’s not why I’m here.
Krell’s speeches tells us that what he did, he’s be doing for a long time. Umbara took place in the Second Year of the Clone Wars... And this suggests that he may have Started a bastard.
He certainly was Dark Side by the time of Umbara.
Hints of his later speech also suggest that he had, in some way, contact with Darth Tyrannus, or possibly even Sidious himself acting as Tyrannus. Which puts things into a new light.
... I think that Umbara was meant to kill off Torrent Company.
Here’s my logic.
After Umbara, just about everything that goes wrong for Anakain, does. Kenobi betrays Anakin’s trust. Ahsoka is lost repeatedly, and thanks to the trial arc, gets gone for “seemingly” good. Everything was directed through the Jedi Council, and often, via the Chancellor’s hidden hand, was in some way isolating to Anakin Skywalker.
And it starts Here.
Who the fuck requests a General about to head into battle? What could be so fuckin important as to interrupt TAKING A SEPARATIST’S WORLD!?
Nothing. You don’t do that. There was nothing more important at that moment. You can’t claim incidental, because Anakin was never pulled off that way before or since. Take Anaxes as your Example-- his wife was Pregnant, and he was still fighting.
I think, via Krell, someone who is KNOWN to have massive clone casualties, who had possibly started off this civil war having already Fallen, that the Chancellor had started to find ways to Isolate Anakin. To ensure that Anakin’s trust would only be the Chancellor’s.
And he started by trying to ensure the deaths of Captain Rex and the rest of Torrent Company.
... Of course, unlike every other time. It takes a Chip to bring Clones to heel.
Because on their own? Clones don’t fall for the Machinations of Evil Emperors. They don’t get their strings pulled, like Jedi do. It takes a tumor-slave-chip to bring these great men to heel.
So Captain Rex survives. And becomes the worst thorn Palpatine has ever felt, for it.

-> More SHIELD Agents OCs 📞
Cadence Patton as Alyssa Sabrina Coleman
Tumblr media
-> Full Name: Alyssa ‘Sabrina’ Wilson-Coleman
-> Height: 5’4
-> Age: 26
-> Relationship Status: Single
-> Family: Mother dead, Father alive, Brother and Sister Sarah alive as well. Her big brother being none other than Sam Wilson aka The Falcon turned Captain America ;)
-> Personally: She is a total sweetheart, loud mouth doesn’t always know when to show up, kind and understanding, has patience, a bit flirty and free. Respectful, if your a man or woman who served the country you best believe she will salute you and even call the person by their rank if you like. She can be a wildcard at times but she’s very much a homebody at heart. Most importantly family oriented! The Wilson family loves family and their huge cookouts
Tumblr media
- Alyssa from a young age looked up to her big brother and sister, wanting to be just like them! So she did, joining them on their adventure around town and becoming a bit of a fighter. Sam wanted to make sure both of his sister knew how to throw a punch or two, hell even hold a gun to someone’s face properly! As much as Alyssa liked to fight, she was a kind soul at heart and a baker. Making the best breakfasts and such who can find in the neighborhood.
- So in result she took those skills to become a Chef for the military kitchens, knowing the good men and woman who served this country deserved a good home cooked style meal whenever they can. Her dream job was and will always to actually start a Bed & Breakfast though! This skill as a chef for more than 5 years or less taught her the skills to be kind, patient and more caring than ever but her time was up. And she moved on, soon after Sam stepped into becoming a fellow veteran of this country (later on The Falcon ofc).
- She spend some time in Washington DC 2014 and moved back home to Delacroix, Louisiana, where their family operated a fishing business run by Sarah. Alyssa and Sarah grew closer together over the years, she helped raise the family business and deal with her two nephews. Until one day, Sam called her in wanting to give the opportunity to join SHIELD. She was hesitant about the idea but did so anyway.
- She was very hesitant to take a part-time job at SHIELD knowing what she might or might not like being there. But Sam encouraged her to try it out and so she did! Turned out Alyssa enjoyed becoming near The Avengers and other Agents of SHIELD very much, feeling like a home within this community. Now she’s training to work assistant trainer at SHIELD keeping all the files in check for the rookies, cooking meals for every Avenger and agent, and going on missions whenever possible.
Emily Bett Richards as Stephenie June Stuart
Tumblr media
-> Full Name: Stephenie J. Stuart Foster
-> Age: 22
-> Height: 5’5
-> Relationship Status: Single
-> Family: Father dead, mother alive, and no siblings that she knows of ;) Or maybe you met them already?
-> Personality: A bit of a punk. She’s a slow learner but can be very lazy, smart in her own way, she’s fast and quiet like a mouse, kind and gentle.
Tumblr media
- She grew up in Star City but with her mother’s work life being hectic and off the rails she moved around a lot and eventually landed in Washington DC where she stay there for most of her life. She was a bit of a punk kid but still very feminine and girly in many ways. A sweet gentle girl to be honest as her glasses always slipped off her face sometimes. She was slow but very smart within certain area, Stephenie is very quick with a computer fast fingers to type away!
- Stephenie grew up loving tech and comfortable life behind a desktop computer in general, staying inside. So she wasn’t much of an outdoorsy person however she loved the park and dressing up, but mainly stayed at home in her sweats coding and creating stuff hands on. However that got her in trouble with the authorities as she tried hacking into plenty of school systems changing all the grades and exposing the teachers behind them for their lies with her friends at the time, she was considered fine but her boyfriend ended up in prison.
- Realizing the concern and upsetting results of her ways, she decided she wanted to do something more good but not end up in jail for it. Changing her dark brown almost black hair into a dirty Barbie blonde, wearing contact lenses instead of her glasses, removing some her piercings and her switching her dark clothes into more lighter shades. Hell the Stephenie started even using her middle name, June instead. She is applied to SHIELD ACADEMY to become a junior technician and make a few friends.
- Soon enough people discovered who she was related to siblings wise, but not even she knew about her sister’s full involvement still had a strong existence in SHIELD or the future of The Avengers. Can you blame her? They lived across the country and in different cities so they never crossed paths too much. However stayed very close with calls and weekends getaways!

Small Moments
Pairing: Wrecker x Female Reader
Rating: G
Word Count:2,220
Summary: You and the squad have a little bit of downtime before completing a job from Cid. This time allow you to think ahead for the future of the squad, and of Omega.
AN: I hope you all enjoy! This is my first bit of writing in a long time so we’re keeping it pretty simple. xx

Tumblr media
The noise was no stranger to you, the deep and seemingly endless drumming above your head. An icy coolness slips into your skin underneath your clothes, your eyes slipping shut at the sensation. While for the most part you enjoy your time on the ship with your crew and it feels just as much of a home as you could ask for, it did have its drawbacks. The closest thing to a simple rainfall you got to experience while cruising through space were meteor showers, and landing in the middle of one of those was not the most relaxing experience. You feel a small, hand wrap itself into your own, giving it a small squeeze. Your eyes cast down and you smile at the sweet brown eyes peering up at you from beneath wet, blonde curls. Omega has her hood over her head, holding down the side with her opposite hand against the wind.
“I sort of missed the rain (y/n).” She says, looking up at the sky and smiling, the raindrops sprinkling down on the two of you. You lift your head back up, sticking out your tongue. Omega looks at you, her brow furrowed. “What are you doing?”
“Catching raindrops. You can do it with snowflakes too. We used to do it on my home planet when I was small.” The tiny clone follows your actions, laughing as she lets go of your hand and makes a show of running around you, catching the water droplets from above.
You were thankful that for both the sake of you and the squad, and for Omega herself, that she had taken the business of being a part of the team so seriously. The young one dove into everything that was ever handed to her, from Hunter’s hand to hand combat routines, to Tech and Echo’s near constant technological learning. She was a fighter, and a determined one at that.
Your heart was heavy at times however, thinking about how she was still a child. She should be able to enjoy the things children enjoy. The sweet, small things that with adulthood and the burdens of growing up, we all tended to forget and appreciate. You took it upon yourself to make your training for Omega to be how enjoy things she could not before, to make her feel like she wasn’t restricted, or stripped of her curiosity. You encouraged it.
“I wouldn’t do that if I were you, my data shows that the atmosphere on this planet coupled with the local vegetation means excessive consumption of precipitation could lead to harmful side effects.” Tech says as he walks past, guiding his scanner around you as he too gets off the ship. You purse your lips and look down at your small companion once more, chuckling.
“Bit of rain won’t hurt you.” Hunter says as he comes up behind the two of you, handing Omega her small backpack you had found for her at a market during your last job for Cid. You wanted her to have something of her own and found some amenities to put in it as well. Some new fresh clothes, and a small toolkit among other things, including her beloved clone trooper doll. “We should get inside though. Cid said we can stay at her camp here before we continue to the other side of the planet for the exchange tomorrow. We can’t proceed until late morning at least. Best to get some rest while we can.”
“You don’t have to tell me twice Sarge.” Wrecker yells from the belly of the ship. You hear his footsteps as he barrels down the gangway and feel him join you both. He grabs your own pack from your shoulder and puts it over his own, its size shrinking against his broad form. “You and the kid take your time, beautiful. I can take our stuff inside.”
“Wreck I can take that, it’s just a few things.” You laugh, grabbing for your pack. He dodges your efforts and keeps walking forward, turning to wink at you as he follows his brothers. You huff out another laugh and lead Omega towards the cleared path in the forest. “Well, I guess I’ll just escort you then my lady. I’ll get you settled in in Hunter’s room before I join them so we can go over the mission details for tomorrow.”
“Can’t I be there? I want to know what’s going on tomorrow too!” Omega asks, her shoulders slumping down a moment under her cloak. You squeeze her hand and nod.
“Alright Omega, you can come with me. We’ll drop your pack off and then find our way. Just be weary. I’m not sure what kind of mission this will be or what Hunter’s plans for you are. This may be one you need to sit out, for all I know the both of us might be sticking behind. You’re a part of the squad so I see no issue of you being there. Just be ready to play the part Hunter and the others have planned.” You tell her. Thankfully, Hunter had begun to allow her a little more freedom with her involvement in missions. There were still runs Cid sent you on however that weren’t worth the risk.
“I promise I will!” She says, saluting you. You look ahead as a clearing broke out of the path and you see a glassed-in observatory style station come into view. It looked like a two-story home, perfectly rectangular in shape. The walls were made completely of glass, save for the metal framing around the edges and planforms, holding the building above the ground. You imagined the views of the forest were breathtaking from inside. You had to give it to her, Cid had taste.
“(y/n)? Can I ask just one question before we go in?”
“Go on Omega, I’m listening.” You answer, still looking towards your quarters for the night.
“What are snowflakes?” ***** You sigh as you enter the code to your keypad Wrecker directly behind you as you all retired to your rooms after the mission briefing. Omega left in happy spirits with Hunter as he had a part for her to play in this mission, the situation being a simple drop-off of supplies with payment, nothing too messy. Since Omega had paid off all your debt with Cid, you were able to stick to more low-profile jobs while you figured out a new plan regarding Omega’s safety and the unsettling end of the war.
“The kid seemed happy that she has a job to do with us. I like when she’s able to come out in the field with us.” Wrecker says, starting to take off his uniform. You cross your arms over your chest, still a little chilled from the rain as you look out. You were right before, as the whole building, including your room, was surrounded by windows. Thick, one-way, bulletproof windows, as Tech made sure to point out, given who owned it. It really was a beautiful sight.
The view made it easy to look out into the forest, the leaves on the branches, bright from the rain and crisp air. The foliage swayed back and forth with the wind, creating the most soothing hushing sound, mother natures lullaby. Accompanied of course by what had to be some type of owls, their deep calls coming from their nests in the surrounding trees. Open space had a soothing effect to most. It’s infinite darkness with specks of light, but to you, it was far too quiet. No outside noises penetrated the thick hull of the Havoc Marauder, only the synthetic beeps and whirs of the engines going off in the night could soothe you in the deafening moments.
“I know that ain’t true, you smacked me in the face with your pillow the other night cause you said I was snorin’ too loudly.” Wrecker points out, lifting his chest piece over his head, his upper body now free of the extra weight. You hadn’t realized that you were thinking out loud, though you often did it around Wrecker. He was your partner, for a couple years now. Hunter, Crosshair, Tech, and Echo you trusted with your life. With Wrecker, you trusted him with your life and your heart. You take his chest piece from his hand and set it in the trunk he had carried in along with your bag. “
That is different!” You laugh, coming back to take the final pieces of his suit, leaving him just in his black thermal set. You lay the final piece into the trunk and sit on a chair that faces the windows. “This place reminds me of things I love. The birds, the trees, the smell of the rain. You can’t find that in space big guy. I’m glad we’re able to take Omega with us to these different planets and worlds. It’s important she knows about the world and everything in it. Good and bad. I just try my bests to let her see the good to remember during those bad times. She’s going to have to fight for a lot in her life, an unfair amount…”
“Hey, listen-“You feel Wrecker stand behind you, putting one hand on your shoulder and gesturing for your other one. You put your hand in his and bring the warm top side of his to your lips, kissing it gently. His hands dwarfed your own, as he did most parts of you. You were always safe when you were with him, and you knew if he wasn’t near, it wouldn’t take much to have him barreling towards you at any moment when you needed him. “We’re gonna look after Omega. We made it this far, I’ll stand in front of anyone that tries to hurt her… Or take her away.”
“I know you would Wreck, we all would. She just adores and admires you all.” You say, his fingers grazing your cheek as you speak. You were honest too. If your run in with the bounty hunters wasn’t enough, you knew in your heart that child was probably the most protected thing in the galaxy.
“She likes you a lot too ya know. She tells me all the time.”
“Does she?” You smile to yourself. The word ‘love’ was seldom used around the ship, usually only regarding Mantell mix by a select few. The feeling was always present of course, the brothers all loved each other, and as the time went on, it extended to both yourself and Omega as well. Wrecker had told you after he told you he loved you for the first time in your relationship, that it was the first time he had said it to someone in such a way.
“She does. She thinks your beautiful, and smart and kind. I like her, she’s a smart kid.” Wrecker lets go of your hand and comes around to the front of your chair. You barely have a moment to look up before he picks you up into his arms like you were nothing, carrying you to the plush bed that was made up in the middle of the room. He sets you down gently and crawls into bed with you.
“Cause I think you’re beautiful, kind, and smart too.”
You laugh and prop yourself up a little more as Wrecker settles beside you, who is also sitting up to look at you. You extend your hand and cradle his face in your hand, your thumb brushing along his cheekbone. Before you can reply you feel a yawn manifest in your throat before it escapes, your hand covering your mouth as you try and keep your gaze on your favourite trooper.
“Am I that boring?” He chuckles. You swing your legs back over the edge of the bed, starting to unhook your boots. Wrecker gets up from the bed again and walks to your pack, grabbing your sleep pants from it.
“No Wreck of course not. I’m sorry, I just feel really tired suddenly.” You reply, pulling off your boots and setting them beside the bed, keeping them close just in case. You feel his hands slip under your shirt and you let him lift the fabric from your body, leaving you in just a worn sports bra. As you wiggle out of your tactical pants, he hands you the black sweatpants and you slip them on, relishing in the feel of the soft fabric. You never seem to realize how tired your body is until you properly stop for a moment.
“It’s okay baby, it’s been a while since we had a break. Even when we do, you’re always doing something for us, or for Omega.” He says, joining you in bed again. You lay back on his chest, relaxing into him as you look out the array of windows and out into the wilderness around you. You wished you had time to explore more, and to enjoy your time there, but you could already feel sleep tugging you down, not being helped by Wrecker’s fingers grazing up and down you arm.
“I know- but I still wish we had some extra time. We haven’t had a lot of time together either, just the two of us. I’m sorry I’m wasting it.” You sigh, fingers dancing over his chest.
“Don’t worry (y/n).”  Wrecker takes his arm around you and rolls you onto his chest, almost laying you almost on top of him, kissing that spot on your neck that makes your heart thrum. “There’s always the morning. You know how much I like breakfast.”

Apritello Express Evidences, part 1
Greetings, Apritello enthusiasts and attention! Here comes a loong post is written by totally nerd. You've been warned. Here we go.
The thing is that Apritello is a double-edged sword. The series shows us established friendship of these two, give us a lot of content with them. We can see development of relationship through interaction between the characters, their reaction about the situations they are put in. We can sense their synergy and bound through the show.
Donnie and April have incredible chemistry, and both options, brotp and otp seems fine to me.
But let me tell you why I ship them.
Apritello is the kind of pairings, which consists of small details, hints, that's hidden, but if you're sharp and attentive one, you will notice that. Apritello has a strong foundation: the best friends trope.
And from the very beginning, it works as planned.
When I start watching show, I could say that April and Donnie are best friends. It is worth noting that April is like an older sister to the other brothers, more of a sisterly figure than a friend, but with Donnie she behaves somewhat differently, namely, as best friend. Obviously, she sets him apart from his brothers, although girl tries to pay attention to all of them equally. And Donnie behaves as well.
Dee's battle shell designs for April needs as well as his. His shell transform into comfy spot for taking ride for April. Special and only for her. Because his bros are not supposed to use it (at least, he carries no one on his back), Donnie carries them by his techno-bó or his limbs.
This tiny detail shows his special treatment to her. April is a very, very special occasion to D. Don does care about her comfort, he accept the way she is. Donatello does not try to prevent her from participating in their affairs because he respects her decisions and is pleased that April can be shoulder to shoulder with him.
D is glad to be at her service.
Tumblr media
Yeah, Dee's still playing cool, he has image to perform as tough and coolheaded guy. So Don doesn't show his intentions, interest and feeling to other people (he's tryin', but fails). Because his actions matter. They are always small, hidden, but meaningful.
April, in return, trusts Dee and depends on his tech, even knowing what his inventions are the opposite of success (usually).
Go on. Look at Donnie's facial expressions and body language when April is near.
Tumblr media
Donnie seems more relaxed when she's around, happier. His emotional response is always different from his brothers ones.
Oh, and look, he wanted to be first to give her a high three.
Tumblr media
They worry about each other. Look at Don. He does worry about her way more than his brothers. Yeah, they all want to protect her, but Donnie is more expressive.
Tumblr media
Mayham has no particular sympathy for the brothers: he is afraid of Raph and behaves aggressively, he is indifferent to Leo and Mikey. Mayham immediately takes a liking to April. And then the details come back: he let Donnie touch his neck. The most vulnerable place for any living creation, for a second. Let him to study an important vial without any hesitation. Mayham depends on April trust for Donnie. When everything goes wrong for Don, the little doggie comes to his rescue, just as April would have done. Is the hint transparent enough?
Tumblr media
We can see links with "A mystic library", wherе Donnie begins to look for solutions to save April's pet. Yes, this may seem like his next leap, "sit down, I'm smart, and now I'll solve all the problems, watch and learn," but Don says one phrase that opens up the veil of the second plan, what happens behind the scenes. "My illiteral colleagues and I was conducting a mustic research, with a life of the beloved pet, hanging in a bounce".
Strange wording, Donatello. Beloved pet? Not yours, as we can see. I can say, that everything in this sentence is true, but Donnie and Mayham has something more.
Continue. Next episode "Origami tsunami". Interactions are kept to a minimum, as April herself appears for a maximum of 5 minutes in the series itself. But devil is always in the details, dear friends.
When April was attacked and hung up, the only one who excitedly called out to her was Donny. Raph is furious that the thieves have escaped, Leo is frustrated that their plan has failed, and Mikey is worried about the salami.
Yeah, we didn't see his worries about her when she fell, because Donnie is on the mission and must be coolheaded turtle, and second, he's calm because now April life is safe and sound, out of the danger.
Dear passangers, Apritello Express arrives to the next station - episode "War and Pizza".
Bare facts:
1. April has Donnie's number on an emergency call.
2. "Anything for you"
3. Donnie is the reason why Alberto knows April's name.
No one calles April by her name (except for Donnie, while phone call, but Alberto wasn't nearby) it was "Captain O'Neil" by her chief, her badge seems blank. And yeah, you can say, that's just economy of budget, but I assure you: in the first episode we were shown the name of the delivery guy. The animators were not lazy bones and wrore "Stewart" on his badge. So if something isn't there, then it either shouldn't be there, or it really isn't, that's how this show works.
So, the reason explained in the episode. When Al has short circuit, parts of its new code flashed through its mind.
Tumblr media
Info about April was in its memory, in its code. Alberto was a lame animatronic, and it seems somewhat outdated. I do really doubt about Alberto is being something smartass machine with complicated AI like Freddy's Pizza's ones. Quite questionable. Donatello fix Al's brain and wrote code, synchronize with his remote control. He put information about Cap O'Neil into animatronic's head. All this pictures are kind of massage: "You was created for birthday celebrations. You are machine, and there concepts of "life" and "birth". Do great party for this birthday kid and April won't be like this". Or, something like that.
So Alberto did - do a memorable party. And he do what his creator programmed him to do, but in his way.
4. In other words, Alberto was a tool to impress April. Don flaunts himself in front of her, stating how he did the upgrade while doing the upgrade, even though April is fully aware of his tech wizard. And his abilities supposed to help Cap O'Neil to finish the birthday party, so she will stay at her job, not fired. All thanks to Donnie and his upgrade Alberto. (Or not)
By the way, Donnie was the last to leave April in ruined "Alberto's". And it's not an isolated case, it is a pattern.
5. They understand each other without words.
First, Donny came at her at the speed of light. Second, she hadn't even finished speaking before Dee was taking Al apart. Third, their chaotic, well-coordinated work? Donnie was a distraction (although he wanted to just take a break from the battle or let Alberto's guard down, while April just knocked him out). Donnie and April are great team, and sometimes the DonniexApril team is much more precise, coordinated, and interdependent than the DonniexBrothers one.
D&A feel each other and anticipate each other's actions, their skills complement each other, creating an incredible synergy of their interaction. They act as a whole, while it's not always possible with his brothers, even though they're family and know each other the way more Donnie know April. And Dee hasn't trained with cap O'Neil.
Donatello didn't show his crush for April. No puppy, loving eyes, no lovey-dovey speeches, no planning schemes (at least, the audience don't see one) . He just want her attention, but stays cool and hidden. D is already her BFF, but still.
The same thing is claimed in 5B episode - Mascot Melee. Donnie has no problems with interaction with idol of his childhood - Atomic Lass. She'd put Leo in a stupor, but Donnie? He playfully challenges her to a dance duel. Yes, he adores this character, who may have become his measure of the attractiveness of others to Donatello, determined his type. But still, he's playing all cool and confident guy, he's really smooth with girls, so you will never see a puppy loving eyes from him. Only two things can betray him at this point: his voice and his body language. Remember, how's soft his voice became for Atomic Lass? Now I want you to remember the scene before, in turtle tank, when April sent guys a meme.
D is the first to respond to the message, despite the fact that Mikey is sitting closest to the screen. And the responding is a little too emotional for this situation, don't you think?
And this face of his. And he comments it. He likes her sense of humour.
Tumblr media
The only difference between April and Atomic Lass is that the first one is a real girl who is a friend of their family, practically a member of it; and the other one is just a fictional character. It is easier to say about love for a fictional character, because it brings less problems for a teenager, especially when he is living with three brothers and a father who likes to tease as well. Donatello needs to be careful and outline the area of emotions he could show, so that he does not get hurt.
Now, dear passangers, we are returning to the previous episode, shall we?
Donnie presents to his brothers his precious Turtle tank, but she's gone, and it's really necessary to find out, who has taken her. And the first person to suspect is April.
Something is odd, don't you think? Yeah, Raphael has taken tyre for their "Midnight special", Leo claimed that Donnie's stuff is common, but they are D's beothers. It's natural for family to borrow(stole) stuff of each other. But this trend was not observed in April. She would never steal anything from Donnie, much less steal anything from him.
Actually, there is a good, logical and solid explanation here. April was number 1 in Donatello' suspect list, because he simply told her about Turtle tank. His brothers didn't know he were working at Moon buggy, except Mikey (Orange helps Dee get the vehicle from Repomantis), but they didn't know what exactly Donnie was working for. They didn't know he build the Turtle tank, he kept it a secret, to surprise his brothers. But April knew.
- Alright you! Where's our turtle tank?
- Hi, DONNIE. You have 9 seconds to say, why are you just broke my door.
- Someone's stole Donnie's turtle tank.
- Haha-ow, I see. As your best friend, you naturally suspect me.
- She gets it!
- Oh-ho, don't give me that! You're the only one could taken it!
The only one, because she knew about it.
As Splints said in this episode - "April is not a snitch"
Donatello does trust April and share with her both, sorrows and joys. But we are not shown this directly. We do not see the action itself, we do not see their calls and conversations on the phone late at night, we only see the consequence. We have no choice and take it as a given.
And the way she cooled him down? Fast, efficient, and Donnie seems to used to it. Moreover, she slapped everyone, but still, she throw Don out of window the last. However, why such a large time delay between him, being slapped and him, was throwing out of the window?
And my favourite scene. It was obvious that Donnie had taken the hardest hit (judging by his scream and the way he was putting his knuckles back in place). Don then claims that their inner circle is secure, Mikey tries to make amends for everyone, and April agrees, blowing them a kiss and closing the window. Cute and mean, isn't it? (You're cute! but mean! why do I always go for your type?! - ep. War and Pizza)
Tumblr media
Nota bene: Donnie wouldn't apologize to April. Tough, not caring badass boy image, remember? Even to best friends. It's hard to him to express his feelings by using words, he cannot do it in proper way. But he has Mikey, who is so alike inner him. Michelangelo apologizes not only for himself, but for D mostly, because D starts suspected April.
Let's continue: the episode 8B: Hypno Part Deux
• Donnie put "Donnie's blocker" at April's phone to protect her.
It's common thing that your friend install some programs or apps on your device. But you will always ask your friend to do such a favour, and you will always know about what, when and where were installed on your phone.
And April didn't know Donnie had done something with her phone. It was a real surprise for her, to see blocker with "Donnie says no-no-no".
Tumblr media
And you know, the interface of his app. The way he tell this current phrase. Donnie could put a huge banner "THE APP YOU WANT DOWNLOAD TO IS A REAL PIECE OF GARBAGE", as usual antiviruses do. But no, voice interface. It makes the app more personal and thoughtful. Because when Don made gifts for his brother, the program was voiced by a computer-generated female voice. Yes, the tank's interface is voiced by Donatello himself, but his voice sounds more like Google than the real Don. And, we talking about HIS BABEY, for a second. Bit still, the point remains.
• Also, Dale.
Dale is nerdy boy in purple, wow, how convenient for making a parallel with certain purple turtle.
But thing is, April doesn't like Dale. He's clingy, remora guy, who has a little obsession with April, even he's not harmful, still, such behaviour freaks girls (and not them only) out. Her classmate is usually tell her what April O'Neil is "his favourite person" and he loves her. There is little that is attractive about this behavior.
So, there is nothing new and unpredictable here that Dale was rejected. Because April didn't, doesn't and won't like him because of his lame personality and strange behaviour. Our girl in yellow do right thing: she clearly sets personal boundaries and does not allow any dubious personalities to invade them. So that's the reason she refuses to go on a date with him at the end. He's weird, obsessed, and she doesn't like him.
Donatello, as far as I concerned from different versions of TMNT, was always a little obsessive with some things. And, you know, putting a blocker inside your best friend's phone seems a little weird, because it's, in simple words, violation of privacy and personal space. And there are people who may regard this as stalking or sorta.
Yeah, for the most part, he gets away with it, not only because April's focus is in a different area, but also because their bond is stronger than April's with anyone else at school.
She has known him for years. Donnie is her best friend. I can't say that it's fine to her when Dee violates her personal space - her phone, but April can accept Donatello's personality in general.
And he does really have good intentions. Donnie installed this blocker, developed by himself only for one reason: to protect personal space April from fishy apps from nowhere, from being hacked and etc. Don knew her too well, how much she depends on stupid apps that will distract her. He also knew well, that he can't be with her 24/7 to fix problems with April's phone, so Dee put a part of himself to prevent any harm in the future.
And again, "Donnie's gifts"'s vibes. Donatello genuinely cared about April, because he wrote, coded, developed, designed, and dubbed it, turned on the database, and installed it all on April's phone. 'cause, you know, writing programs in general is a bit of a hassle, but writing an antivirus is much more difficult, because viruses are changing, and questionable applications are finding ways to bypass. Do you feel how much effort Dee put in for her?
But Donatello didn't mean to fix April, as he tried to do with his brothers. Purple turtle accepts this girl the way she is, and tries his best to play smoothly with April, by adjusting, not being passive aggressive jerk. It's his outstanding way to show his caring nature, soft side.
Remember, small but meaningful actions.
Maybe, Donnie also can foresee that April may be forced to download some suspicious program, but still, it work: he managed to prevent April being hypnotized, even if couldn't be physically with April at the this moment - Dee was working for Repo Mantis, building dog's paradise for Todd. That's why, by the way, Leo and Raph were dragged into this whole situation. Mayham would teleported literally anyone to help his hostess. Donnie just wasn't at the Lair at the moment.

And on this note, we'll take a break for now. Stay tuned, expect parsing of the series, there's a lot to discuss.

Hi! I wanted to make a request from the “Everything is terrible, so why not have some fics?” post. You said you didn’t have any and I loved the Tech - First Kiss fic you wrote. I wanted to request 15F with fem!reader. I’m thinking more fluff but reader needs to let out some emotions that have been bottled up for a while through some tears. (I hope I’m not asking too much)
Wrecker is my favorite and I moved halfway across the country from home to figure out life for myself and I’m kinda homesick myself.
Hey, @gjrain20-starwars! Thank you so much for the request! I’m realizing that this is probably toeing the line between fluff and hurt/comfort, and I apologize! Enjoy!

Wrecker + Homesick Fem!Reader
You crept quietly through the halls of Spearpoint Outpost. There was a strict, recently established curfew on base. Ever since Anaxes had become the focus of a Separatist campaign, security on Spearpoint had stepped up from ‘routine’ to ‘unpleasant’.
The only reason you were out and about so late at night was to try to make a rare call home. The middle of the night was the only time there was a chance of catching a spare bit of signal to make a personal call. GAR-standard comms were strong enough to hog all available frequencies when they were being used, so nighttime was the only option. Besides, the time difference meant that your calls would come through in the morning back home on Bespin.
At least, they would if you could ever get through. After a full hour of trying without success, desperate for a scrap of a familiar voice, you had bitten back tears of lonely frustration and started the return journey to your bunk.
You probably should have been more worried about being caught out of barracks after curfew. If a superior officer found you, it would mean a solid dressing-down at best, and likely some disciplinary action. At absolute worst, they could discharge you from the GAR altogether considering the state of things on Anaxes. That didn’t sound like as much of a punishment as it should have in your current emotional state.
Still, you walked quickly and quietly through the winding tunnels that made up Spearpoint Outpost. There weren’t many people around so late, and you were wearing your full uniform. No one would notice that you were out of place unless they were looking.
“Hey!” a voice bellowed from beside you, so abruptly that you fumbled and dropped the comlink you had been cradling absently.
“What the-?” you glanced around rapidly, zeroing in on the source of the noise after only a moment. The greeting had come from Wrecker, the largest, loudest member of the Bad Batch, who had recently been based on Anaxes. It was only a temporary assignment while the GAR had them run a series of missions around the area to ward off the Separatists, but they had been at Spearpoint for a few weeks and would likely be here at least a few more.
A solid chunk of your coworkers weren’t a fan of the Bad Batch. Hunter was nice enough, you guessed, but quiet. He kept to himself as a rule. Tech was whip-smart but not great with social situations. He had alienated some of Spearpoint’s officers by pointing out ways they were minorly breaking regs. Crosshair seemed to be purposefully unpleasant, so most people avoided him on principle. Wrecker, though, had gone out of his way to make friends on Spearpoint.
Somehow, you in particular had attracted his attention. If the Bad Batch were on-planet, you saw Wrecker at least once every day.
“Wrecker!” you hissed, clutching at your chest. Unnecessarily, you told him, “You scared me!”
You stooped to pick up the comlink, but Wrecker got to it first. It was unfair for someone that big to be so fast, you mused. You tried to grab the comlink from him, but he had a good grip on it. There was no way you were getting it back through force. The idea was laughable.
“Why are you awake so late?” Wrecker asked, ignoring your efforts to get the comlink back.
“Late shift,” you lied. “Just got done.”
He watched you skeptically, the eyebrow over his good eye lifting. “You’ve been off-duty since nineteen-hundred hours, liar.”
You stared at him, aghast. “How do you know that?”
“You’re always done at nineteen-hundred,” he answered simply, studying the comlink.
“Then you know why I need to get back to my barracks before anyone sees me,” you told him, deciding to trust the Bad Batcher. “I’m breaking curfew by about four hours, here.”
“Curfew?” he asked, belting out a laugh that made you nervously glance around at the empty hallway. “No one obeys curfew.”
“I do,” you argued, nettled. “We’re in a war zone.”
“Barely,” Wrecker snorted. “Do you think you’ll bring the Seppies here by being out of bed too late?”
“No, but I’d rather not be demoted,” you said icily. “Now, give me my comlink. I need to get back before anyone catches me or turns me in.”
“Okay,” he agreed easily, handing the comlink over. “I’ll walk you back.”
You glanced at him over your shoulder. Wrecker seemed nice enough, but he was big and loud. Your chances of getting caught with him were much higher than if you were alone. “No, thank you. I’m all right.”
He tsked at you. “Don’t you know we’re in a war zone? I’m coming along.”
You rolled your eyes and walked a little faster in hope of losing him. Of course, he was faster than you ever gave him credit for, so he kept up with ease.
“So, who was important enough that you’re willing to risk a demotion to talk to them?” Wrecker asked, gesturing to the comlink in your hand. “Boyfriend?”
“No,” you denied instantly. “My family. I haven’t… haven’t seen them since I joined the GAR. I’ve only gotten to speak to them a few times.”
Wrecker was silent at that, but a glance up at him revealed that he seemed deep in thought. “You miss them.”
“I do,” you admitted, wrapping your arms around yourself, “but it’s more than that. I miss everything about my home. I miss the food in Cloud City. I miss the birds and the sunsets. I miss being home, you know?”
You vaguely recognized that you were rambling, but the words wouldn’t stop. “I don’t know what I’m even doing here. Everything is different and I’m scared all of the time. Sometimes, I think all of this was a mistake.”
You finally stopped talking and pretended to study the hallway wall, doing your best to sniffle in a way that he wouldn’t hear. Of course, it would have been hard to miss the horrible, thick sound of tears in your voice. You subtly wiped your face and cleared your throat.
What were you doing? Wrecker was an elite soldier, even more so than the other troopers that constantly surrounded you. He had literally been bred for strength and durability. You couldn’t afford to look weak in front of any of them, but especially not in front of Wrecker. He was the strongest man you had ever known. He must think you were so silly, crying over a home and family when they were safe. You were just away from them right now. There was no need for tears. You were just having trouble convincing your heart about that.
A large hand settled on your shoulder, the immense weight of it grounding you.
“I understand,” Wrecker said softly - well, as softly as you had ever heard him speak. “I don’t have a home, but I have a family. I don’t know what I would do without them. I’d hate to be away from ‘em.”
“Even… Even Crosshair?” you joked weakly, interrupted by a slight cracking in your voice.
Wrecker chuckled, the sound lower and more personal than you were used to hearing from him. “Even Crosshair. Don’t tell him I said that, though. Family is family, even if we drive each other crazy sometimes. And it wasn’t a mistake, coming here. I might be biased, ‘cause this is the only way I met you, but different isn’t bad, ya know? You’re doing your best and it’s helping you grow. It’s uncomfortable now, but uncomfortable and scared are the first steps to some great stuff.”
“I guess-” you hiccuped softly and laughed a little at the ridiculousness of having a post-midnight philosophical therapy session with the massive Bad Batch member. “I guess you do understand.”
Wrecker hummed an agreement at that. “Besides, home and family aren’t just the stuff you left behind, ya know? You’ve got friends here.” He beamed, squeezing your shoulder with what must have been a tiny fraction of his immense strength. “And, hey, you’ve got me!”
“Do I?” you asked, enjoying the first effortless smile you had worn in a while.
“Of course! I want to be part of your new family.” He paused, rubbing at the back of his neck. “If that’s okay with you, I mean.”
“I…” you paused to swipe under your eyes once more. “I would like that, I think.”
“Good!” Wrecker smiled, stooping toward you. You were wrapped up in the best hug of your life before you knew what was happening.
Wrecker was even more giant this close, and you were surrounded on all sides by warmth and solid muscle. He squeezed and lifted you just a bit, letting your feet dangle a short distance above the ground. You couldn’t reach all the way around his broad back, but you had your arms wrapped around him anyway, holding onto him just as tightly as he was to you.
When you finally patted his back, Wrecker gently deposited you onto your feet once more and stepped back. His eyes were bright and warm, which perfectly matched how you felt. Hugging Wrecker had felt like taking a deep breath, like a sip of water after a hard workout, like stretching after a long transport ride.
“Thank you, Wrecker,” you said. It felt like too simple a phrase to sum up everything you were feeling, but it was everything you had.
“Anytime,” he replied easily. “I mean it. If you need anything, whether it’s a hug or to hit someone, come find me.”
You nodded, and he pulled a faux serious face. “Now, off to bed before someone finds out you’re breaking curfew.”
“We are in a war zone,” you agreed with a grin.
The rest of the short walk to your bunk took place in a companionable silence. As you reached to type the code into the pad next to the door, Wrecker tapped your wrist to stop you.
“Hey, you should come by the Havoc Marauder tomorrow,” he suggested quietly.
You frowned. “Why? Didn’t you guys crash-land like, two days ago?”
“Yeah, why?” Wrecker asked, looking confused. His face cleared a moment later. “Oh, no, we aren’t going anywhere. But I’ll get Tech to kick up the power on your comlink. You should be able to talk to your family without GAR comms interfering. Your long-distance family, I mean.”
You felt the smile spread over your face, but Wrecker interrupted as you started to thank him. “And, that way, you’ll be able to contact us when we’re off-planet. Ya know, in case you want to talk to your new family, too.”
“That sounds perfect,” you accepted gratefully, not typing in the code to your barracks even after he gestured you toward the keypad. You really shouldn’t risk making him uncomfortable… but you were too selfish not to take advantage of the opportunity. You held your arms out a bit. “One more hug?”
From the chuckle that rumbled through his chest as you were squeezed against it, Wrecker was only too happy to oblige.

A/N - if this was a little too hurt/comfort and not enough fluff, let me know! I’d be happy to write another chapter with more fluff. Thank you so much (again) for making this request! (As a side note, I also moved far away from home and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. It’s hard, but the experience will make you a stronger, more independent person. You’re doing amazing!)
If anyone wants to make a request, I dearly love writing them! I might come up with another prompt list eventually, but here is the original prompt list in case you need some ideas. Read other one-shots from the same prompt list on my masterlist.
Thanks for reading!
(Update 7/02/21: this now has a sequel chapter here!)
