            Being injured is never a pleasant experience. Knowing you're missing a large part of the year with recovery and rehabilitation didn't bring you much hope either. The only ones who had managed to cheer you up were Fabio and Isack.

You dragged your finger across the surface of the photo frame. Since when was it so dusty?

Inside it was a picture that captured a moment practically etched into your memory. You smiled into the camera, holding your diploma of graduation with your closest friends on each side. One of them had his arm slung over your shoulder, his smile so large that you felt like you could still hear it now, all these years later.

And today you had to revisit everything—to go through the same feeling of your heart sinking whenever you thought of him, being overwhelmed by yells and the sound of his name being called by those who surrounded you.

A few days ago, your old high school group chat was revisited by him, who sent a couple invites to a game that he'd be playing in. If not for one of your friends messaging you privately, you wouldn't have decided to go.

"Maybe you can smoothen things out this time around." She reasoned.

You didn't think so. There was practically no reason for you to attend this game of his, inside such a large and bustling arena that would make you feel disorientated. Having to see him run across the court; completely unaware of what you were going through, smiling and laughing beside his new team—that same smile that you used to lose yourself in.

The same smile that always made sure you were happy, that never left your side.

You didn't think he'd realise what was wrong. But maybe a small part of you still held out a little, thinking that with time, he’d change.You promised yourself that you'd wait to see things out until the end—to talk to him if you could make it through the crowds.

Taking your seat in the stands, you watched as he and his team made their way into the court; the bright lights, roaring voices of the crowds—it was all too familiar. You had hoped to leave the moments it forced you to recall in the past, so as to not taint it with your negativity.

It used to be something you looked forward to, having attended numerous of their practice sessions, then watching all of that hard work be put into play as they went on to compete on a national level. Despite them not taking first place, it wasn’t anything that you could've imagined yourself even coming close to. All of that perseverance, months of training—despite not taking first place, the thought of quitting never seemed to cross his mind even once.

It was all too much for you. All this confrontation, forcing yourself to be here even though you were aware of how little you'd actually do. Promising yourself to do things that you wouldn't end up fulfilling.

After you confirmed their victory at the end of the match, you stood from your seat, making your way to the exit. Looks like you really were a coward; unable to watch him play like you used to, and leaving as soon as it was over. As soon as you reached the doors of the building, your phone sounded; picking it up, you saw a name on the screen—one that hadn’t shown up there in years.

“Hello?” You held the phone to your ear.

“Hey! You came, right?” The fading ambience of the court lingered in the background. Was he looking for you?

“Yeah, I’m just about to leave now.” You could’ve just walked out of the building, telling him you’d already left; finally putting an end to whatever this was.

But you didn’t.

He told you to stay where you were, that he’d be coming to you.

And so you stood there, waiting. A few minutes passed, and your thoughts wondered off; What did you do to mess up? Maybe if you were more forward with your feelings, more outright, less clingy, less annoying; would things have turned out differently?

Maybe—to put it plain and simple—it was nothing more than him being disinterested in you.

Suddenly, an all too familiar voice forcefully dragged you out of your train of thought. Looking in the direction of the sound, you watched as he walked towards you, bag slung over his shoulder, no longer wearing his uniform.

"You’re leaving?"

"Yeah. I told them I had something on," His lips tugged into a gentle smile. "How've you been?"

"Good." You replied, fiddling with the fabric of your sleeve. You couldn't think of much else to say—so much for promising yourself that you'd change. It's not like you could come outright and ask him "Hey, where have you been? Why did you cut me off? Did you find someone else? Was I not interesting enough?"

And it’s not like he’d ever know what you were thinking. Not when you spoke in such a sweet tone, smiling with as much warmth as you could muster—you weren’t mentally prepared for confrontation. But you knew that masking your emotions wasn’t going to get you anywhere. Who knew the next time you’d be able to see to him? To stand in front of him with all his attention focused on you alone; beaming excitedly, treating you like someone he'd never let go.

It was either you spoke now, or acted like nothing ever happened—continuing to wallow in your thoughts as you struggled to escape the loop of self depreciation you'd been forced into.

But.. maybe it would change things between you two.

"Everything alright?" He questioned.

"Bokuto, I—" You struggled to choke the words out, "I need to tell you about something."

His brows furrowed in confusion, tilting his head slightly. "Whats up?"

The words were on the tip of your tongue, a few simple statements, having been condensed through years of overthinking and worries. You opened your mouth to speak, but nothing came out.

Ring! Ring! Ring!

"Oh, just a second!"

He turned to the side, answering his phone call. Upon finishing, he informed you that he had to leave due to him being called back by one of his teammates for a group meeting. He promised he'd call you back, insisting that your conversation wasn't over yet. With that, he took off; your eyes lingering on his back until he was no longer in sight.

Once again, another promise that you couldn't see being fulfilled. If he didn't couldn't keep his promise of staying beside you, what would make you think he'd keep it this time around?

You looked down at your feet, too weak to form an expression that could describe what you were feeling right now. It was still the same—he hadn't changed. You really weren't anything much to him at all, just another person from his graduating class. Just another girl that he happened to see after a while.

Just someone that he couldn't spend even a minute of his time on, to listen to what they had to say even if he didn't really care deep down inside.

Having received your answer, you promised yourself that to no longer mull over something that only made you feel worse with time.

But who were you kidding? Sure, he couldn’t fulfil his promise, but neither could you.

You never did change, after all, so what made you think that you could now?

However, the recent war on Gaza has turned our world upside down😢. I have lost my job💔,

and with it, my only source of income, due to the destruction of the facilities where I worked😭.

The physical destruction around us has been devastating😓, and many projects I was involved in to support the families of patients have come to a halt😢. The economic losses are staggering, and the road to recovery seems almost impossible😥.

The war on Gaza has not only taken our peace of mind but has also brought with it an unbearable level of suffering😓.

The cost of living has skyrocketed,

and we are struggling to meet even the most basic needs of daily life😣.

The situation has become unbearable, and it feels like we’re trapped in a vicious cycle of poverty, fear, and despair.

How can a family survive when they cannot even afford food, let alone the necessities of life?😭😥💔

As a doctor, I stand at the frontline, trying to save lives amidst the wreckage of war😢.

I treat the injured, manage critical cases, and do my best to bring comfort to those who need it most. 🥹

However, at the same time, I face personal struggles that are just as overwhelming😢. The hospital is in dire need of medical supplies and personnel, and we are doing all we can to save lives with limited resources. But the pain of seeing my own family suffering while I try to help others is a constant burden.

You woke up with a stuffy and runny nose and a sore throat. You sighed loudly before getting out of bed. You walked in the bathroom and looked in the mirror. Your cheeks are rosier than normal. That was more than enough to tell you that you have a cold. You decided to be in denial about it. You blew your nose and took some allergy medicine. You got dressed for training and put your hair in a messy bun before making your way to the gym.

The allergy medicine cleared your sinuses, but that didn’t last long. You were breathing through your mouth the whole time you were training. You pretended to be fine and you straightened your posture out any time an Avenger walked in the gym. When Bucky walked in the gym, he automatically knew something was off with you. It’s like his superpower.

“Doll?” Bucky says.

You jumped, not knowing someone was in the gym. You turned around to see Bucky standing a few feet away from you. You cleared your throat before speaking.

“Good morning, Bucky.” You say, your voice hoarse.

“Good morning, doll.” He says.

Bucky walked closer to you. He studied your appearance. Your nose is red and runny, along with your cheeks. He can tell your nose is stuffy from the way you’re breathing.

“You have a cold.” He says.

“No I don’t. It’s allergies.” You lied.

Bucky crossed his arms over his chest. He knows when you’re lying.

“Try again and don’t even think about lying to me.” He says.

“I’m-” A harsh cough left your lips before you could finish your sentence.

Bucky winced at the way the cough sounded. That was enough to tell him that you also have a sore throat.

“You’re going back to bed.” He says, wrapping his arms around you and gently walked you out the door of the gym.

“I’m fine-” Bucky cut you off before you could say anything else.

“If anyone gives you shit for not coming to the meeting, I’ll beat their asses.” He says.

“Ok.” You mumbled.

Bucky took you back to your bedroom.

“You put your pajamas back on and I’ll make you some tea.” Bucky says.

You smiled and nodded. Bucky went to the kitchen to make you some tea while you changed back into your pajamas. You put on a shirt that belongs to Bucky that may have gotten “mixed up” in your laundry and a pair of sleep shorts. You got back in bed and under the blankets and turned the TV on while you waited for Bucky.

“Here’s your tea, doll face.” Bucky says as he walks in your room.

You sat up as Bucky handed you the cup of tea.

“Thank you, Bucky.” You smiled.

“You’re welcome, doll.” He smiles back.

Bucky put his right hand on your forehead to see if you have a fever and you do.

“Doll, you have a fever.” He says.

You groaned and pouted.

“I know.” He whispers, kissing the top of your head. “I’ll get you some medicine.” He says.

He went in your bathroom and searched in your medicine cabinet for cold medicine. He found it with ease and brought it to you.

“Here you go, doll face.” He says, handing you the cold medicine.

You took it and washed it down with the tea. Bucky took his jacket off and kicked his boots off before getting in bed next to you. He wrapped his arms around you, holding you close to him.

“Why didn’t you just stay in bed when you knew you were sick?” Bucky asks.

“I don’t know.” You shrugged, playing with his Army dog tags. “I didn’t want anyone to think I’m weak since I’m the new girl and all.” You say quietly.

“It’s ok to feel weak sometimes.” He assures. “Wanna know something?” He asks.

You looked up at him and nodded.

“During my days as the Winter Soldier, I felt weak sometimes. Most nights, I stayed awake and stared at the wall or the ceiling. I just hated the fact that they used me as a weapon.” He says.

“Really?” You asked.

“Mhmm.” He hums.

Bucky telling you that made you feel less weak. It’s helpful to know that.

“Thank you for telling me that, Bucky. I feel better knowing that.” You say with a smile.

“You’re welcome, doll. Now, get some rest. I’ll be here the whole time.” Bucky says softly, kissing your forehead.

You snuggled yourself against Bucky and laid your head on his chest. A combination of the cold medicine and the sound of his heartbeat made you fall asleep. Bucky dozed off a little bit after you did.

You weren’t sure how long you had been sleeping, but Bucky woke up before you. Instead of getting up and accidentally waking you up, he scrolled through his phone and watched TV to keep himself occupied, keeping the TV on a low volume so it didn’t wake you.

Meanwhile, the Avengers were in the conference room, waiting for everyone so they can start the meeting for an upcoming mission later this week. Everyone was in the conference room, except you and Bucky.

“Where’s Barnes and Y/L/N?” Tony asks.

“I don’t know. I seen Y/N in the gym this morning.” Natasha says.

“I’ll go look for them.” Steve says.

Steve stood up and left the conference room. He looked in every room you and Bucky might be in. You two weren’t in the lounge room, kitchen, or the gym so he went to Bucky’s bedroom, but neither of you were in there. That’s when his enhanced hearing heard the sound of your TV playing. He opened the door to see you sleeping in Bucky’s arms.

“What are you guys doing? We have a meeting.” Steve says quietly.

“Y/N has a cold and I’m taking care of her.” Bucky tells him quietly.

“Oh ok. I get it. I’ll update you guys later when she’s awake.” He says.

Bucky smiles and nods, loving how understanding his best friend is.

“Steve?” Bucky says.

“Yea, Buck?” Steve asks.

“Y/N is going to need the next couple days off.” He says.

“She can have the rest of the week off and so can you.” Steve smiles.

“What about the mission?” Bucky asks.

“Sam and Natasha can fill in for you two.” He says.

“That sounds good. Thank you, man.” He says with a smile.

“You’re welcome.” He smiles before leaving your room.

Steve closed your bedroom door quietly so he didn’t accidentally wake you up. He went back to the conference room.

“Did you find them?” Wanda asks.

“Yes and Y/N has a cold. Which means Sam and Natasha are filling in for Bucky and Y/N.” Steve says.

As the meeting started, you stirred in your sleep. You rubbed your eyes and stretched. You looked at Bucky to see him still next to you, making you smile.

“Morning, sleepyhead.” Bucky coos, kissing the top of your head.

“Morning, Bucky.” You giggled softly. “Who were you talking to a little bit ago?” You asked curiously.

“Steve was wondering where we were and he gave us the rest of the week off. Sam and Natasha are filling in for us on the mission. He said he’ll keep us updated.” He explains. “How are you feeling?” He asks, moving your hair out from your face.

“Better than I was this morning.” You say.

Bucky put his right hand on your forehead to see if you have a fever or not.

“I think your fever is gone. You don’t feel as warm as you did earlier.” He says.

“That’s because I have my favorite person taking care of me.” You smiled. “Thank you, Bucky.” You say.

“You don’t have to thank me, babydoll. I love taking care of you.” He says, kissing your forehead.

“Logan!” Y/n exclaimed as she saw the blonde American walking through the paddock. She was seated with Oscar and Lily who looked at her confused as she ran to the Williams driver.

“Y/n!” Logan exclaimed as he wrapped his arm around her waist. “It’s been a hot minute, hasn’t it?”

“Of course! It’s not like we went out for dinner last night or anything.” She laughed, holding onto his shoulder.

Oscar and Lily share another glance at the sight of Y/n giggling with someone else. They knew that she was giggling with Logan was strange because she didn’t really know him, or so they thought.

The English girl furrowed up her eyebrows, feeling strange at the sight of the two. “Osc, is it just me, or is it weird to see her with Logan?”

The Australian driver hummed in response, stabbing the lettuce in his salad. Before taking a bite he mumbled, “Feels weird too.” They both let out a sigh while looking at each other. They both knew the feeling very well. It was jealousy. They couldn’t believe they felt jealous watching their friend with Logan.

Oscar glanced back at the two while Lily squinted as they watched Y/n drag her hand down Logan’s arm before hugging him goodbye. She turns around to walk back to the couple but pauses at the look on their faces.

“Why do you both look so pissy?” Y/n asked confused, sitting in front of them and grabbing her can of Red Bull that she had abandoned due to chatting with Logan.

“When did that happen?” Lily asked, a hint of jealousy in her voice.

“We’ve been chatting for a few weeks now. We hung out last night.” Y/n replied with a shrug. “We’re just seeing where this is going.”

“So you have a crush on Logan now?” Oscar asked as he took another bite of his salad. He did nothing to hide the sound of jealousy in his voice or the upset look on his face.

“Why do you both look so upset? I didn’t think it was serious.” She nervously chuckled and glanced between the couple.

Lily rested her hand over hers. Y/n hated how her heart started to race from such a small action. She actually had a crush on the couple. But due to a recent interview of Oscar calling her just a friend, she thought that if she got closer to Logan then maybe she’s lose her feelings or possibly make them jealous.

Clearly, she hadn’t gotten over her feelings.

Oscar’s voice snapped her out of her thoughts. “What’re you doing talking to other guys?” His voice was suddenly low. His girlfriend hummed in agreement, moving to sit beside Y/n.

“Why do you care so much?”

“Because we care about you, a lot,” Lily responds and wraps her arms around the confused girl.

The McLaren driver clears his throat, copying his girlfriend's action by moving to sit on Y/n’s other side. “Seems like Lily and I have newfound feelings for you. And I must say, they’re not platonic.”

She furrowed up her eyebrows again and scrunched up her nose. She looked at Oscar like he had just grown another head. “What the fuck do you mean? Weren’t you the one who called me a ‘good friend’?”

“Yeah, and he was stupid for it.” The British girl says with a smile, resting her head against her shoulder. “But he’s right. We both like you and to be fair, seeing you with Logan made us jealous.”

“That was the point,” Y/n mumbled causing the couple to laugh. Both of their hands moved to grasp hers, each taking one hand. Her heart rate began to pick up again as she kept staring between the two.

“So, give us a chance?” Oscar asked with his signature shy smile.

“I waited so long to hear you say that,” Y/n said with a smile, letting out a giggle as she squeezed both hands. “But yes. Of course.”

Lily smiled widely as she reached over to tuck a strand of Y/n's hair behind her ear, “Osc and I made you wait too long, didn’t we, pretty girl?” She said, looking over at the Australian before focusing back on the girl between them.

Synopsis: you find a young girl crying and make an attempt to comfort her. Soon after, you meet the father

Work was boring and tiring per usual. The day was hot and you couldn't help think how grateful you were to not be one of the people who had to march around in full body costumes handing out lollipops. You could guess they were sweating up a storm underneath with the current level of heat produced by the glaring sun.

However, cleaning up the rubbish scattered everywhere by not-so-polite park goers was a real pain in the ass too. This was really the last place you'd want to be on a Saturday afternoon but it paid the bills so you refrained from complaining too much.

You were currently walking around the park on the look out for any trash that wasn't in one of the many bins in the park when something else had caught your attention. From a distance, you could hear the sound of a child crying and, while you were used to those sorts of sounds, you were still tempted to check who it was just in case a child had gotten separate from their family. Accidents like that happen all the time, after all.

You headed towards the sound and managed to find a young girl with a strawberry hat who was crying her heart out in a small secluded alleyway. You didn't see any parents so you were immediately concerned for the girl, worried that she had gotten lost and was now scared.

"Hey, it's okay. Do you need help finding your parents?" You ask with a soft tone as you walk up to her and kneel down in front of her. She looked at you and nodded her head as tears continued to pour from her eyes. She was clearly in distress and it made your heart ache to see a young girl cry like this.

"Okay, we'll go find them, yeah? It's okay. I'm sure they're waiting for you," you say as you reach your arms out, inviting her to be carried by you. You had dealt with many cases where children had gotten lost so you already knew how to deal with situations like this. The main priority was always to keep the child calm and reassure them they'd find their parents because 9/10 times, they are reunited with their parents.

The young girl nodded her head before allowing you to pick her up in your arms. You stood up as you kept a gentle hold on her before turning around and walking out of the small alley, your eyes peeled for any distressed parent searching around. As if on cue, a voice suddenly rung out as if calling out for someone. You could easily guess that the voice belonged to whoever the parent of this young girl was.

You looked around before your eyes landed on a guy looking around in a nervous panic. His face was filled with worry and you didn't think twice before walking straight to him. As if sensing his daughter nearby, his head turned to you and the look on his face immediately turn to relief mixed in with a little bit of concern. He walked over to you with a quick pace, eager to have his daughter in his arms again.

"na-yeon, are you okay?" He asks as he takes his daughter from your arms gently. He seemed evidently stressed out that his daughter may have gotten hurt or that something else may have happened to her. "She's okay. She's just a little scared after getting lost," you say with a reassuring smile. He glances at you before giving a small smile back, grateful that you had gotten his daughter back to him.

"Thank you a lot," he says with genuine appreciation for you. "It's no problem. Parents lose their kids all the time here. You aren't the first and you won't be the last," you respond. He laughs a little when you say that and looks away nervously. Before, he hadn't been paying much attention to you because he was hyper-focused on making sure his daughter was okay. Now though.. he was starting to realize how pretty you were.

"But still, be more careful next time. I can't always be a knight in shining armor," you say somewhat seriously but still making a joke so as to keep the mood light. He nodded his head in response and finally looked back at you.

"Don't worry, I won't. Thank you again," he said as he gave you a small bow before turning around and walking away. He wished he hadn't walked away so easily but, embarrassingly enough, he was pretty sure he was blushing now and he didn't want you to see that. He couldn't crush on someone he just met. Even so, he could still feel his heart beating just a little faster than usual and it definitely wasn't from fear this time.

You watched him walk off and let out a sigh before shaking your head in disappointment. He wasn't the only who wanted to keep talking. You did too because there was definitely something so endearing about him and the care he holds for his daughter. That look of pure worry on his face even after he found his daughter..

plotline: reader is a Slytherin with a death eater family. You're kinda disconnected from them and gives valuable information to the order of the phoenix, letting you stay at Grimmauld Place— where the notorious troublemaker Fred Weasley is. not to mention his giant crush on you.

A/n: I would like to do Fred x reader from the black family but I can't because I think it's kinda weird I'm sorrey 😭

Warnings: mentions of blood and violence and also it's a bit rushed sorry I was writing until 5am and didn't even sleep plus it's a school night😭💔

Grimmauld Place was where you and Fred Weasley met each other for the first time. Surely as fellow Hogwarts students, you've met each other before once or twice, right? Nope! You were part of the Slytherin house and he was in Gryffindor and shared only one class together.

But you've definitely seen him before for sure, whenever he and his identical twin were getting detention or losing house points very loudly in class. Even when you've been ushered out of the library when it was starting to get late at night, you'd notice the twins sneaking off somewhere from their tower.

They'd never taken the initiative to talk to you, though, as they never really needed to. But Fred does notice the way you've been targeted for your family name. Even Malfoy and Pansy Parkinson might try to talk with you to join forces but you just ignore them everytime, earning some foul expressions in return.

Yet he can't seem to ignore the fact that you're breathtaking. He can't believe it himself that he's thinking of you in such a way.. And he definitely lingered his eyes on you a little too long one time during the Yule Ball. Eventually, he started asking people around what you're like, what you're up to if you left the class abruptly or who you went to the Yule Ball with— which was weeks ago.

He could never catch you alone though. You would somehow always blend into the crowd and disappear or just be too busy with something else to be talking to anyone.

Fast forward, you spent the last few months sharing information with your favourite teacher, Professor Lupin on some information about the death eaters' plans you heard from your family which granted you a spot in Grimmauld Place. Your family isn't exactly the kindest folk and will likely not even notice you gone for a whole summer.

Everything Fred's ever thought about you became old and he could learn everything about you all over again— properly.

"Fred, right?" That was probably the first time he's ever heard your voice. Well, the first time he's ever heard it clearly because he'd only ever hear you softly whisper questions to the teachers privately about upcoming tests. And he wouldn't lie... He liked your voice. He liked the way you said his name.

"The one and only." He jests, sticking a hand out for you to shake. You beamed up at him and proudly shake his hand. He had an eruption of butterflies all over his stomach there, but painfully ignored it.

"How come I've never met you in Hogwarts?" He questions, even though he perfectly knows why. The question colors your face into a darker hue, "Well, I just didn't really like talking to people." You shrugged.

"Not even me? I'm sure me and my brother have been quite the topic is every conversation these days." He boasts, to which you laugh at. "No.. I've just been a little busy with my own studies is all." A little busy? He's been trying to catch you at every opportunity! "Are you sure you're a Slytherin? Seems like you're an overachieving Ravenclaw to me." He teases, peering over the books you held up to your chest.

"I plan to do something big in the future." You smiled before walking off. That's definitely the most he's ever heard you say in one sitting. Has something changed you over the summer or what? Not that he doesn't like it of course.

Despite your efforts in telling the Order some truths and details, Molly wouldn't let you in on the meetings because you were too young. Like Harry, Fred and the rest of the group, they were frustrated about it!

After a quidditch match between Slytherin and Gryffindor, Draco Malfoy couldn't keep it in himself to make fun of the Weasleys. He got a little too far and started insulting Molly and the aftermath of it wasn't pretty at all. Draco got beat up by George and Harry, Fred had to be restrained by his teammates, and Umbridge started being unfair again.

She took away Fred, George and Harry's brooms and positions in their quidditch team permanently. This earned a foul mood from Fred the entire week, which even got you concerned.

You finally got him to alone one day outside the Gryffindor tower when you were on your way down to the library. "Hello, Fred. Fancy a study with me at the library?" All of a sudden, his bad mood seemed to falter. But he hates the idea of studying now that he's realised his dreams, honestly— which was to open up the joke shop with George. Not to mention he was planning to cook up some more products to ruin Umbridge's day at the moment. But this was the first time you've ever invited him somewhere and he wasn't going to say no!

At the library, you sat side by side sharing a book, awfully close to each other. "I've heard you lost your broom and can't play for Gryffindor anymore. I'm sorry about that." You whispered, not looking up from the book. "Sorry for what? It just gives me more reason to need to ruin Umbridge's life." He grinned, completely forgetting about the book in front of him.

"I saw you earlier, you looked like you were throwing daggers behind Malfoy's head—" You were about to say but was cut off by his words. "Let's not talk about that right now. I want to know more about you." He says suddenly, earning an eyebrow raise from you.

"What do you want to know?" You eyed him carefully, earning a nervous feeling from him. "I just wanna know what my favourite Slytherin is up to these days." He shrugged casually. "I've been busy reading up on the syllabus lately and decided to watch your game a few days ago." You start off.

"Fred, you've got to do something about her! She's driving me mad! I could barely take enough from the other Slytherins, let alone her!" You suddenly exclaim before he could form up a response to the first thing you said. He's never heard you be so worked up over something, earning a sharp glare from Madame Pince the librarian.

"Okay, okay. I was planning to anyway. Just hold on, because me and George are gonna give her hell." He whispers to you, earning a lovely smile on your face which he wants permanently etched onto his mind. "Promise me that. I don't want to see Ron get his broom taken away either." You held up your pinky to him.

Ignoring the temperature rising in his face, he hooks his pinky around yours. "I'll do it for your sake so you don't end up in Azkaban for something worse." He jokes so you wouldn't notice how giddy that childish pinky promise got to him.

Weeks go by and the school was taken over by Umbridge. Pansy Parkinson and Draco Malfoy were giving you a hard time everyday for some reason. One day, you spoke out of turn with Pansy when she started probing you on why you never talk to anyone, earning a hard slap on the face.

Then, came the blood out your nose. No amount of tissues could help you out then. As onlookers go by, Fred was walking around with George when he notices your never ending nose bleed. He ushers George away before you could look up at them, earning a smug look from the other twin.

"What happened? You alright there?" He immediately sits by you, patting your back. "Pansy." You grunted, keeping the tissues over your nose. "That slithering...!" He was about to stand up but you pulled him down.

"Shut up and help me. I know you can fix this, that's why you're here, right?" You glared at him, your innocent and shy facade seemed to be replaced by a true Slytherin at the moment.

"Oh. Right." He quickly pulls out a purple coloured sweet from his pockets and hands it over to you. A few seconds went by and the iron taste in your tongue and blood were finally fading. "Perhaps I didn't take care of myself properly these days to be bleeding this much over a slap..." You muttered, fidgeting the wrapper and tissues in your fingers.

"Maybe you should put down the books for a change. I know our exams are coming up but you could use a little relaxation." He smoothly slides his arm over your shoulder, inching closer to you. "Your product really worked! You must be really clever to be able to pull this off. Is this what your mum gets so worked up about at Grimmauld?" You exclaim, examining the wrapper closely.

Perhaps the praises he was getting from you was making his stomach do flips. He was up close and personal with you now, to tell you something over the noise of the students walking by.

"Well... Okay, I'll let you in on a little secret. I—" He was cut off by a magical force that pulled you and Fred apart. "Remember the rules, children!" Umbridge tuts with her wand out, and walks past you both with her loud heels echoing in the hallway.

That interaction certainly made you both blush a dark hue, even though you weren't about to do anything... Were you? "I'll be seeing you then. Thank you for... This." You stood up to clear the tension, waving the wrapper to show what you meant. "Oh, yeah. Don't worry about it." He plays it off as you walked away.

He sighs and brushes his hair and mentally curses that god awful Umbridge. Why did she have to come by just then?

Fred and George just played the craziest prank on Umbridge. They disrupted the O.W.Ls with their charmed fireworks- beautiful fireworks. They have always said they wanted to do something outside of their academics, so they wouldn't really care if they were expelled.

Their act of bravery became legend, they were now even conversation expressions. Students were now pulling pranks on Umbridge as well and saying "I'm about to pull a Weasley!" It was really funny. But you never got to see the twins after that because you were still stuck in school with your nose in books, dreadfully waiting for the next holiday break to see them.

The most dreadful day for the Order came. Sirius Black passed away from the hands of Bellatrix Lestrange. And the announcement of Voldemort returning for good was grim. Everyone was dreadful and sad for weeks.

However, the opening of the Weasley's Wizard Wheezes brought smiles upon faces and yours too. You've finally got the chance to meet your favourite Weasley twin.

"Thought I'd never see you come by, L/n." Fred says, puffing out his chest to show off his new outfit. "Fred, this store is amazing! And you're looking dapper." You gasp, looking him up and down.

"Oh, you make me blush." He plays it off. "Can we have a chat? I think George can handle himself for a little bit, no?" You tugged on his sleeve, slowly pulling him towards the entrance. "You mean I can get away from him? Don't mind If I do." He laughs, looking at George for a moment before following you outside.

The outside of the store was depressing. Not many shops were open and the mood was different compared to the inside. Ever since the attacks from the death eaters and Voldemort, everyone's been too scared to be outside.

You hugged Fred tightly the moment you got him out. "I missed you. Why couldn't you wait to get expelled till it was our exams?" You whined, swaying him back and forth.

"If I knew you'd miss me this much, I wouldn't have done it." He pats your back, dropping his head onto yours. "I loved those fireworks you did, it was brilliant! Smart! And your store... I can't believe you're really making it out there." You gush, looking at the store.

"Yeah, well... Me and George just thought people needed a laugh these days." He shrugs it off like as if his insides aren't fluttering right now. Has the weeks that had gone by while he was gone made you even more gorgeous?

"I think you're amazing with what you do, Fred." You lowered your voice. Was it just him, or was the street getting really quiet, too? The proximity between the two of you was getting closer. "I just did what I thought was right." He pretends to not notice the warmth from your body being so close to him.

"I'm sorry but would you mind if we... Kissed?" He quickly says, clearly frustrated by how painful the tension was. "Not at all." You replied, your face just inches from his. And the gap closed.

You were kissing... You and Fred were kissing! You couldn't believe it yourself. You reckon it was the quiet street driving you mad to start kissing this troublemaker. Your left hand were clenching his hair, the other on his cheek. His was on either side of face, like as if you'll run away if he lets go. The kiss was so soft and sweet, he wanted more. But you had to let go when George called out for Fred to come back.

"I'm not done with you, yeah? I know you've graduated, so you can certainly come back here anytime. So.... Come back here, soon?" He looks at your eyes with so much love. "Why are you talking to me like I'm not already dating you?Of course I will." You joked, beaming up at him before slowly letting go of him.

For the rest of the day, Fred was buzzing with excitement and excitedly promoted products to his customers with even more enthusiasm. George thought he's lost his mind.
