• hes one of those people to fall asleep anywhere and everywhere. on the couch, at the table, no matter how loud it is or how bright it is. he's a light sleeper and also a snorer. if you're cuddling together, he'd either lay on top of you or wraps not one but both of his arms around you. one under your neck to provide a nice neck cushion, and one draped over your stomach.

• he runs warm, which is both a blessing and a cruse. in summers, even if he'd want to cuddle with you, you feel the need to get as far away as him because he's just so warm. you'd wake up in your own sweat if you do decide to take the risk and let him cuddle you. in winters though, his warmth is very welcome.

• loves it when you hug his arm while walking. if you're tired and kind of lean into him, expect him to eat that shit UP because he loves your warmth as much as you love his. loves it when you lean into him or hug his bicep. even flexes his muscles for effect (you definitely tease him for that)

• is not a fan of thunderstorms, he kind of has bad memories. either from being left out while the ither kids play in the rain, either from the rumbling and the scary sound that comes with thunders that resembles the sound of his angry father or its just how inconvenient it is.

• his dad wasn't really in his life that much, always away on business. every time he would come home, he'd srot of criticize jean's hobbies :( his mom eventually seperated from Jean's father and started her own bakery, hence Jean's love for chocolates.

• he panics very hard when you feel sick. he jumps right into his mama bird genes and makes you a soup from either his mother's recipie or he'd call your mother and ask her for her own sick day recipies. he'd feed it to you and refuse to leave you alone until you've had your meds.

• he loves kissing your forearm for some reason. you loop your hands around his neck after kissing him, so it's the closest to his mouth. he turns his head slightly, closing his eyes as he pecks your forearm :3 it's kinda a weird spot to like kissing, but it's really endearing when it comes from him.

• he has a couple small tattoos here and there. two of the five he has have actual meaning whereas the other three are just for fun

You can argue or whine back and forth all you want, you see Hunter standing in front of you, arms crossed in front of his chest, brows drawn together critically. He won't listen to any excuses. He doesn't want to grumble, and he knows you're not really doing it on purpose, but from his life with his brothers, he only knows the path of severity in situations like this. "Eat at least half, I don't want you to pass out on us here," he finally growls, also making sure you do just that. He takes you aside later, massages your shoulders and talks to you gently, trying to relax you and bring you to other thoughts, hoping that he can drive away the gloomy thoughts and maybe stimulate your appetite again. He will leave no stone unturned to help you.

Echo

He can't take a joke when it comes to food, especially since he puts so much effort into preparing it. And Echo is a fantastic cook. When Wrecker is already reaching for your portion because you're not eating again, Echo slaps him on the wrist. "'Stop that! That's not your plate." "But-" Echo's critical, stern look makes the giant fall silent, pouting. You can't help but feel guilty, Echo has a knack for just looking at you and making you feel guilty about food or generally how well you take care of yourself. However, Echo also knows that he can't force you to do anything and might even make things worse. Instead, he'll prepare a picnic basket filled with all sorts of things you like best and arrange to whisk you away to one of your favorite places together at the earliest opportunity, hoping to stimulate an appetite there. He'll also take you up on that food problem. "How can I help you? What can I do to make you feel better, love?"

Wrecker

At first, he doesn't think much of it. There are rare moments when he loses his appetite, but he has already experienced with his brothers that this can happen. He gladly accepts the extra portion you offer him. But he notices that this pattern repeats itself, and he starts to worry. "You can have my portion too." Wrecker frowns, you see his expression suddenly look worried. "Again? Aren't you hungry?" "Not really," you admit. Wrecker seeks advice from his brothers before discussing the problem with you. He tries everything possible to stimulate your appetite. He gets your favorite snacks, creates a special ambiance, takes you hiking to make you hungry, gives you relaxing massages. Wrecker has no shortage of ideas. Wrecker wants you to be healthy and happy, he makes it his mission to make sure you have everything you need. In this, he is very persistent and lovingly determined.

Tech

The first few times, Tech doesn't say anything, but he notices and makes mental notes. In fact, he keeps a sort of mental log of all your mannerisms and things you do, among other reasons, to better understand you. Finally, you do it again, leave the food, and Tech looks up from his datapad. "You have an eating disorder." Surprised, you look at him. "What?" "Your strange behavior, regarding your food intake, indicates that you have an eating disorder. To be honest, that worries me greatly," he says matter-of-factly, pushing his goggles with his index finger and examining your body with his gaze. He explains to you in gruesome detail how this can affect your health, what diseases and disabilities can be triggered by the lack of certain essential nutrients over time, how they show up, the symptoms, and the less-than-pleasant end results. Tech doesn't hold back on this, even though he sees you squirming. He thinks it's extremely important that you're aware of any consequences. "Perhaps we should consider therapeutic measures before it gets to a point where we may be left with invasive, medical options. Force-feeding, is probably extremely uncomfortable." He may seem very matter of fact and maybe even cruel, but Tech is worried, he is approaching this in such a logical, almost clinical way because that is his way, that doesn't change the fact that underneath the matter of fact facade sits an anxious Tech who is in agony out of fear of seeing you suffer or even losing you. Communicate with him, tell him what is bothering you, what exactly is preventing you from eating. Give him the opportunity to work with you to find a way to address this problem.

Crosshair

He is very attentive and notices your eating behavior immediately. "You're not one of those who stuff themselves with food when no one's looking and then puke it back out, are you?" You look at him in surprise. "What?" Sourly, he says, "I swear, if I catch you doing that then-" Crosshair interrupts himself, he doesn't really know what to threaten you with himself, basically he's just worried and can't really handle it. He's going to ask his brothers and get information elsewhere to find out what he can do. Crosshair wants you to be well, even though it may not seem that way at first. He is not angry at you, but at the helplessness he is pushed into in this situation. It will take a while, but he is adjusting and doing his best to accommodate you helpfully. He will leave no means untouched, whether they are interpersonal, therapeutic, or otherwise medical.

author's thoughts. i have a headache like at least once every other day and every now and then i am cursed with a skull-splitting migraine that makes me irrationally angry because i'm sensitive to absolutely everything and am in pain. it is not a fun experience! so i wrote this with my two beloveds.... also slightly inspired by june's kaveh x disabled/chronically ill reader fic <3 also another filler post! my requests have been considerably long recently. there's nothing wrong with that! i adore long requests! it just means they'll take a bit longer to come out because you guys give me really good, detailed material to work with 💕

kaveh, who frantically does what he can to ease your pain and baizhu, who's much more calm and articulate in his treatment of your pain.

kaveh genuinely, wholeheartedly hates seeing you in pain. it makes him feel so unbelievably helpless, knowing that he can only really do so much to make you more comfortable, but he's not really thinking much about himself in the moments that you're feeling bad. he may be feeling a little helpless, but he can't imagine how you must feel. frustrated, he'd guess, considering how your head seems to hurt more often than not. he can only imagine how irritating it must be. he's immediately got all the curtains shut tight and all the lights dimmed if you happen to be sensitive to the brightness and he WILL make it so that there is as little loud noise as possible if you're sensitive to that. absolutely no-one is allowed to be loud in your general vicinity when you're feeling unwell. he will gladly tell just about anyone off in your defense. if you find yourself completely incapacitated by your pain, he will get your meds for you. also your meals; he would be glad to prepare them for you. anything you need. water? he's on it, just stay there. also maybe this is just me, but i seriously sometimes just want a hug when my head hurts. kaveh would totally give you all the hugs you want. i just know that being in his arms would be so warm and comforting.

baizhu also hates seeing you in such pain, but he does understand on a more personal level than kaveh. he knows what it's like; he himself is more often in pain than not, so he has the capacity to be not just sympathetic but also empathetic to your situation. he'll hand-craft medication specifically for you and your needs based on your individual symptoms, taking into account any allergies you might have and also considering if you would prefer liquid, pills, or another form of meds entirely <3 he does his best to accommodate for your personal preferences. everything he does for you is very gentle and careful. also if you're irritable, he gets it. you're in pain. you have every right to be angry, to be quite honest. like kaveh, he'll totally do whatever he can to minimize uncomfortable sensory input. it's too bright? don't worry, he'll close the blinds and curtains for you. someone's being a little too loud and it's making your head hurt more? no, no, stay put. he'll handle it. overall i think he's very doting, but in a more professional way than kaveh is! he dotes on you and you can just tell that he's a doctor because of the way he so skillfully monitors your symptoms. he uses his expertise to make it so that you experience as little pain and discomfort as possible. he'll also give you general advice on how to manage migraines in the future, especially for a situation where he happens to be unavailable for any reason—sometimes he might be unable to help because of his own bodily condition. nonetheless, he does what he can.

overall, both kaveh and baizhu are very lovely and doting and will do everything they can to help you out <3

-when kazuha sees you in pain, hunched over from cramps, he knows exactly what to do. he didn’t grow up with someone who had their monthly cycle, but he purposefully went out of his way to learn what to do in moments like these when you guys started dating.

-he immediately takes you to bed, asking if there’s anything you need and forcing you to take care of yourself with the state you’re in, promising that he can take care of everything and you don’t have to worry

-if it’s food you need, he’ll try his best to get it for you (but he can’t cook too well even after fending for himself for years so… sometimes it’s a sad effort) 

-he’ll go to the store to get period products without asking as a surprise for you, but end up calling you asking how heavy your flow is and all those details so he gets the right type

-if he notices before you and you have a stain/leak he will immediately let you know especially if you’re outside and try to take the best flow of actions w no hesitation because he understands how it can be embarrassing

-so when he notices changes in your behavior, he can tell straight off the bat that something is up, so he just casually asks you if you’ve started your period and … slightly tries to ask in the most indirect way for you to give him the details for research

- ‘why didn’t you let me know? you shouldn’t be running around if it’s painful, i can help you out, don’t worry at all,’

-he knows how to make certain medicine that improves the pain, which herbs help with hormone effects, headaches, cramps, and all sorts of other things that come w/ your menstrual cycle

-you’ll constantly be drinking tea made by him, he says that natural ways to heal your body during your menstrual cycle should be a lot healthier than any concoction he could come up with

-he also knows what products to get you, but he thinks free bleeding is something you should try whenever you have the opportunity

Xiao

-for how much xiao knows, it could never prepare him for the jumpscare he got when he woke up in your guys bed one day and found a red spot on the bed sheets

-he could tell you’d started your period, but he had no idea how to go about things

-so he decided he’d run you a bath and buy you breakfast from wangshu inn so that when you do wake up, you don’t have to be stressed

-he swallowed his pride and asked ganyu about period products, which she gladly helped him with, knowing it was for you

-the bedsheets were still stained but he promised himself he’d take care of that later, you came first on his list of priorities

-he wants to do the best he can, so although he doesn’t have that much knowledge on periods, he’d ask you for advice for the next time something like this happened

-heizou is the most experienced when it comes to periods for years, it just shows up around him and he takes it super naturally

-so when he sees your mood change and you go to the bathroom a lot more often, he surprises you with sweets, teasing you about your cravings

-but in all seriousness, he’s more sweet than the sweets themselves when you’re on your period

-mischievous little surprises the whole time, he’ll take you on dates and only if you’re up to them bcs he says it’s the perfect time to celebrate your body and how hard it works to keep you so beautiful and healthy

So. Prev BF “A” occasionally helped me with shit. (He broke up with me Saturday over something ridiculous. It made no sense. I asked a question. Super defensive. I know. Red flags. I know. But….)

Like. I know I deserve better. Anyone does. But. I don’t have better. I don’t have family. I don’t have friend. I was ostracized by my abuser and I can’t even start new because everyone either knows him or my mom in this town. I can’t leave because of him. My kids. Not til their 18. So I gotta make it work for another 11 years.

But A was my ‘something’. He helped with gas. And groceries. And sometimes a little towards rent. Clothes for the kids. Anything involving kid needs he would always help out. He has kids of his own. And. Yeah.

I can’t do ‘this’ alone. I literally cant. Over half my paycheck goes to child support to him. When you look at my take home pay and then childsupport plus rent/phone/necessities….it does not compute. It does not add up to cover all my regular bills

Let alone gas or groceries. Lol at eating out or doing anything else. Lol at buying laundry detergent or clothes or shoes for kids. I hate that this is where I am. But it is. And I’ll be here for a while.

As I suspect Aymeric will be taking Hali to an Ishgardian Ball before long, if he hasn't already, I was wondering how much experience Hali has of dancing and formal dancing in particular? I'm not sure how much time the rational scholars of Sharlayan had for such ostentatious frivolity...

How does she feel about the idea of an Ishgardian Ball? Especially one where she will be the focus of so much attention (not all of which may be entirely positive)? Has she tried on different gowns? Was this a comfortable experience for her? Did she get any advice or suggestions? (perhaps from Emmanellain or, more practically, Lady Laniaitte de Haillenarte)

And finally (and very respectfully, as a fellow Lalafell player), how will Hali and Aymeric manage the height difference when dancing? Mimble would very willingly let Hali ride on his shoulders and conceal himself beneath the folds of her gown, but perhaps she has a more dignified plan in mind? After all there are many dances to choose from and Aymeric is an accommodating fellow.

Yes!!! Ishgardian Ball time!! @meepsthemiqo @traveler-of-light and I have been discussing headcanons for an Ishgardian Ball for a while now, and I’m so glad that I can talk about it a bit! I’m going to make a formal post with my full headcanons at some point, and I’m planning on writing a fic about it as well, but for now, I’ll delve into some of it here!

((Oh, and when I post the full headcanons, if anyone wants to join in on the Ishgardian Ball with your own OCs and ships, please let me know and/or tag me so I can see them!))

So, the Ishgardian Ball would happen sometime after the Final Days have been averted and before the Scions help Vrtra with the Void, so between 6.0 and 6.1. The ball will be in celebration of the Scions’ victory in saving the star, but on a personal level, Hali and Aymeric have confessed their love to each other and are officially in a relationship (FINALLY) so the ball will be the first time they are coming out to the public as a couple.

Hali is extremely excited, as she has always dreamed of going to a ball since she was a child reading fairytales, and she’s just as excited about trying on dresses to find the perfect one.

But she is also really nervous, as she has no experience with ballroom dancing. She maybe a Dancer in battle, having learned the Thavnairian Kriegstanz style, but she’s no ballroom dancer. She had read about ballroom dancing in many books in Sharlayan, so she had a little bit of an idea of what it was all about, but there wasn’t that high of a demand for ballroom dancing classes when Hali was growing up.

The first person Hali goes to is one of her best friends: Emmanellain. He teaches Hali all of the basics, alongside Meeps’ children Fae’a and Marie so they all could learn together. This helped Hali greatly so that she wouldn’t be tripping over Aymeric’s poor feet.

But Hali soon discovers that there is going to be a major problem, as some of the dances, including the ever popular waltz, requires that you reach your partner’s shoulder, arms, hands etc. to perform the dance properly. So she is really discouraged, and she gets depressed because she can’t properly dance with the man she loves… that is until she has an idea.

She goes to her childhood friend, G’raha, and she asks him if he can teach her how to use the levitation spell that he used before to save everyone in the Tower of Zot. G’raha gladly agrees to help her, and Hali is able to learn the spell and hold it just long enough for one dance at a time. She doesn’t tell Aymeric beforehand about the levitation spell however, as she wants to surprise him.

At the night of the ball, Hali and Aymeric are introduced together, and so they are now known publicly as a couple. Hali is able to surprise Aymeric with using the levitation spell to lift herself up to the proper height so that they can dance together properly, and it’s a beautiful night for the both of them.

Talking about what a new Republican President should do on their first day in office, he writes:

Really, so Kurt takes a stance against insurrection. Hey, what does he think should happen to the people who stormed the United States capitol on 1/6/2021?

Now come the pardons. There’s a big pile of them on your desk. J6 political prisoners, Republican victims of Democrat frame jobs, and other conservative recipients of double standards all walk. You make it known you expect them to be processed out of prison by midnight – and that you will fire those insubordinate federal employees who fail to obey. In fact, you execute a memo that directs that insubordinate federal employees will be fired immediately – there’s some technical reclassification language in there, but the bottom line is that if you play stupid bureaucratic games, you will win stupid bureaucratic prizes. Let them sue; the civil service laws insulating executive branch employees from chief executive oversight and control are unconstitutional anyway.

Of course, the dumbest part about this column is Kurt suggesting ideas so far to the right that any Republican who would even consider taking his advice will be treated like Barry Goldwater was when he buddied around with the John Birch Society back in 1964. The American people don't actually like the far-right, that's why nothing is ever checked off their Wishlist and why they have to lie to people about who they are to get elected.

Second place: Frank Bruni

Today, the New York Times columnist published an article with the headline "Democrats, It's OK to Talk About Hunter Biden." In it, he goes to town on the mindless defenders of President Biden--who they are, fuck is I know, he doesn't name any names nor does he bother to give any real examples.

To speak personality, I am one of the biggest supporters of President Biden that exists and I'll gladly admit the administration has made mistakes. I found Biden's choice to push for gun control after the massacre done by Robert Long over talking about the issue of white supremacy to be distasteful, I find his decision to not fire Christopher Wray to be baffling, and I have yet to find a decision in the history of the Presidency as a whole--going back to George Washington--as stupid as making Merrick Garland Attorney General. Spoilers for below, but my number one pick for this list is even a member of Biden's Administration. Is that enough criticism of Biden for you? Have I passed the test you've decided to reign down that somebody much engage in an arbitrary number of criticisms against the president or else be declared a partisan?

Regarding Hunter Biden, the issue is not even that people are talking about Biden's children nor that Republicans have pounced on this issue--it's that nothing is there. I also want to note this part:

As Peter Baker wrote in The Times last month, “In modern times, the harsh spotlight of media scrutiny has focused on Donald Nixon’s financial dealings with Howard Hughes, Billy Carter’s work as an agent for Libya, Neil Bush’s service on the board of a failed savings and loan, Roger Clinton’s drug convictions and of course the various financial and security clearance issues involving Mr. Trump’s children and son-in-law.”

There was also discussion of Chelease Clinton being "the White House dog." Seriously, Rush Limbaugh called her that back in 1992--when she was thirteen. And people wonder why Democrats are kind of iffy on the whole "attacking the child of the President" thing.

But even then, the only one of these that could possibly be compared to what Hunter Biden has done is Roger Clinton. It also dodges the point because somebody--like, for example, me--could find the majority of these stories to be both distasteful and an utter waste of time.

Mediaite reported today on a conversation Kerry had with Rep. Darrell Issa where he refused to call the authortarian Chinese leader Xi Jinping a dictator. Even though Xi is President of life, rules in an authoritarian manner, and is--you know, a dictator in every regard.

This time, it's reader.

Reader has had a toothache for days on end now, avoiding any contact with other people and refusing to eat because of the pain. That's until Albedo can put together your symptoms to come to a conclusion. You eventually give in and open your mouth for him after he asks you to do so.

He shakes his head disapprovingly, scolding you a bit about how you should be eating less desserts after noticing that you have quite a lot of cavities, but comforts you as he takes you to see a dentist.

Usually, I’d not do this only because it’s a bit descriptive already and I doubt I can really add to it however I’m gonna try and do it. As I said before with the fic, I know that someone else has done something like this, so I hope I don’t just undermine their work.

Albedo knocks on your front door, growing more worried seeing that you’ve not been seen by anyone. Typically, the two of you met on a regular basis, so he found it strange that you didn’t see him in person in the past three days. Sure, you did still text him, but you kept making up excuses as to why you couldn’t meet up. If Albedo didn’t know your friends received similar treatment, he would have been worried that you were preparing to break up with him. 

Just when Albedo was about to leave, he hears footsteps. 

“_, it’s me.” He starts. “Can you let me in?” Albedo coos, taking a breath to calm himself. 

You open the door, part of you really missing seeing your boyfriend, and Albedo visibly lights up. You let him in, and he gladly does so. 

He looks around, and to his surprise you were rather quiet. Turning around, he spots your hand darting back down after you had been massaging the area that was in pain. 

“Open your mouth.” Albedo orders. 

You furrow your brows, and you shake your head.

“I said, open your mouth.” Albedo teases, walking towards you. 

Seeing you slowly opening your mouth, it doesn’t take long for Albedo to spot the culprit of your pain. 

“Tut, tut!” Albedo sighs out, grabbing his phone to call your dentist. “You told me to be careful, but it appears you also need the advice.” He chuckles.

Riddle Rosehearts ― A very studious and serious individual, but he's not going to chase you away. Or at least... he's not going to do so on purpose.

To have a calm individual amongst everyone in his Dorm, you are always a fresh breeze on a warm day! Oh, your aesthetic is much appreciated here in the flamboyant Heartslybul, and you might even get compliments from other's in the dorm: but no one is as supportive of you as Riddle himself.

He's always one to meet you at the gates of Heartslybul to take your hand, leading you indoors and being the barrier between you and anyone else you don't know. He knows how your quite nervous around strangers, and nobody speaks to Riddle unless their a nice or at least worthwhile companion. He highly recommends Trey, he's actually got a good head on his shoulders... After you get comfortable, he knew he should have expected your more energetic behavior, but he honestly was a bit surprised. It doesn't change anything, but he's happy to see how you make honest friends.

(If you haven't read the manga, I'll tell you here!) Riddle is amazing at ballet and other core based dances, even in heels. He is happy to join you and even allow you to lead a dance with him, just as long as you don't mind his cape and the smell of tea so close to you.

Riddle does not have a good track record with physical touch. His mother did not touch him unless it was to coddle him, he's been struck by Ace across the face, and in general: he's never been touched affectionately outside of Trey or Chenya. If he does get a hug from you, make it gentle to begin with. He's also a cuddler, he will curl up to you and you might honestly have to be the one holding him... but he will be tightly hugging you back! He loves giving and receiving compliments, and gift-giving in Heartslybul is very common (do be kind if he gets one or two wrong).

He enjoys picnics (it's something he's never properly experienced; your his first picnic buddy) and he'll gladly set up a proper picnic for your cloud-gazing/star-gazing. He himself pulls out milk tea with honey and just basks in the calming sun, as he's never been so calm with another before...

Lilia Vanrouge ― Oh! You can bet the reason he first floated over to talk to you was because you sort-of match his own aesthetic! But he's quite pleased to be your friend!

He first just wanted to compliment your aesthetic and might ask about your layering of choice (because he might not know the most on modern frills), and he ended up becoming a bit too attached. The silent ones are always the most curious ones he likes to jab at, so you might get frustrated with him by the end of the first few weeks of knowing him! But at least, when you start firing back at him, he's now your honorary best friend!

(He doesn't share his true age with you, as he has no reason too, but...) He does consider himself your honorary guardian as well, as your a lone minor without any proper supervision or guidance in this world (... hehe). He's honestly not bad to get advice from as you just have to get be willing to get honest answers and criticism in the end. Don't worry, Malleus does give him disapproving looks if he's going too far, so your not being bullied. He's genuinely caring and does want you to have a safe return to your home, so expect him to come to your rescue if you call for him.

Lilia is very good at old-fashioned dancing and using core techniques, and does enjoy giving you tips (if your not with Riddle practicing already)! He won't dance with you, but he does want you to better yourself if your earnest enough to try and master this dance!

Lilia does enjoy going outside with you if your on the main campus, as he does enjoy a good stroll with a friend of his! If you two see Silver napping under a tree, let him wake him and he'll show you he's actually an affection person! (... He drops a branch on his chest, knocking the wind out of poor Silver. Silver seems to be more sorry then upset as Lilia came down to laugh at him.)

Enjoys gifts very much, he'll take that! He's already pretty self-assured so compliments are just a nice touch! He likes giving compliments back, even if they can be slightly backwards (on purpose)!

Xingqiu ― Fancy, charming, and intelligent can only describe the youngest son of the Feiyun Commerce Guild, of the Guhua Clan!

You and him are two peas in a pod and are kindred spirits in how you interact with each other. In the presence of close friends and family, he is happily gregarious and chatty; a mirror of yourself. Your first meeting would probably be through the Traveler, who is always a good conduit for great company. And he shares that sentiment as well.

He wants to be just like the heroes he can read in stories of Adepti, Man, Gods, and more. He wants to practice in the warmth of the Summer, but you create the calm atmosphere that he can't ignore. He will read and bask in the sun with you as you cloud-gaze, and will walk you into the city from any bridges that overlook long drops! Quite refreshing.

The aesthetic is very pleasing, as he has a more (navy and azure) frilly, diplomatic gymnastics clothes. He has to have room to attack and spring into his techniques, so he won't be changing to match you. Sorry, dearest! But he would match you just a tad if you two have matching tops that are slightly navy or darker!

Have you seen his fighting style? He can twist and send himself into a spin with ease, and knows a few backflip based techniques! He is a famous families son and that means not only is he very eloquent, but also very good at formal dancing. He can give you some tips and tricks if your not on the level of being able to spin in the air! (Totally not gloating, but he's just happy to be dating someone that he could teach!)

Chongyun ― The young exorcist is apart of Tianheng Thaumaturges, and he's confused at how this all happened. But he's far from complaining, as Xingqiu is happy.

Oh, your aesthetic reminds him of that Knights of Favonius lady that visits with the armored maid dress. But yours is more Fontaine like, more common folk and casual compared to the Knight lady. Also, Xingqiu probably wants you three to wear a matching type of outfit at least once. Xingqiu said Chongyun had to wear a dress to match them?! Oh... that was a joke? Well, thanks for telling him.

Finds your and Xingqiu's fighting style and reflexes quite impressive and does practice with you if you want (if you don't fight, he will work on his core muscles with dance). His swings are trained and heavy, but he can use some help on coming out of his spins and his over-head slug.

Please, be patient with him... it's so hot out and his Yang energy rages in the Summer heat of Liyue Harbor... he needs to eat a popsicle under the shade of a big tree. You can cloud-gaze while he cooks out, he's so sorry...

Also, he loves that you and Xingqiu get along so well, it's almost like you two are copies of each other and he'll gladly stick by your side. Just don't... don't mess with his popsicles please... ? You won't? Thank you!

i’m more than happy to answer any questions u may have!! i’ve only been writing here for like one and a half years but I’ll gladly share some tips for new writers <3

tips for new writers - writing on tumblr in general:

formatting and your writing style is very important!!! people most of the time will like stories that have good grammar and are easy to read, so know your punctuation- duh, i mean, most people know where to put their commas, full stops, and shit, but as even a native English speaker i still need to double check sometimes 😭😭😭

ALSO, figure out if you’re a writer who likes to write with proper punctuation or in lower case like i am rn. people on tumblr don’t care which one you opt for so it’s a matter of personal preference!!

personally, i like to use proper punctuation for longer fics with more plot, and lower case writing for normal drabbles, headcannons, etc, all up to you :3 depends on what i feel like tho, i just like the look of lower case hehe

also, you can totally write drafts on tumblr or another platform - i switch between docs and tumblr. shorter pieces on tumblr and longer pieces on Google docs !!

how to get attention on tumblr as a new writer - the importance of tags:

USE THE TAGS - DON’T BE SHY !!! USE A VARIETY !!!! it’s so easy to get reads on tumblr if you just know your tags. i also will say: be mindful of whether or not you stay in tags bc your post can suddenly just disappear- this has happened to me so many times 😭😭 to do that just search if your fic is still popping up in the ‘recent’ section of the tags AND EVERY TIME AFTER U POST SOMETHING, TAKE THE TIME TO SEARCH IF IT’S IN THE ‘RECENT’ TAGS.

(this part might make zero sense, but if it’s been a couple hours and your post still is not popping up, you can either edit it again, make no changes, and press ‘save’.)

general tips:

have an aesthetic layout.

obviously it’s not ‘essential’, but i always find myself more likely to follow blogs that are pretty or have an aesthetics

it takes so long to do but it’s so worth it 😭 if you looks at the fics that do very well, the formatting it very beautiful and pleasing to the eye.

if you’re struggling with a layout, there are so many inspos available on tumblr, just search up ‘blog inspo’ or ‘layout inspo’ and you’ll generally be pretty successful. if all else fail just go to your fav blogs and see how they set up their blog/navigation/aesthetic!!!

having a set colour for your blog can also look nice and less chaotic. for example; mine is red and it’s my (usually) go-to colour for a lot of stuff. just make sure u like the colour tho ☝️

also don’t be afraid to talk to people! AUTHORS LOVE WHEN YOU COMPLIMENT THEIR WORK!! getting mutuals is such a great feeling so PUT YOURSELF OUT THERE !!!!! MAKE FRIENDS 😮😮

my writing process:

i am that writer that likes to have a plot before i start anything, but it’s never complete. normally when i’m going abt my day, i suddenly think of a piece of dialogue or scenario that makes me go ‘hold on. let me write that down’.

for example, recently i thought of a piece of dialogue for an angst fic (that i don’t know if i’ll use) that goes:

‘no i’m not upset that you forgot about our anniversary, in fact, i already predicted you would.’

another idea i had was: you don’t ever want to leave nagi seishiro hungry.

sometimes I get these ideas when i’m in bed like bro 😐 let me rest…

if i feel inspired enough to continue said ideas, i do, but i never force the fic from happening bc then it’ll be mediocre and just… okay. not something i want on my blog 😭

but then i decide the wordlength, how many scenes i want to be in there. for example, my mistletoe todoroki fic i set out for 4k and met my goal. but my itoshi rin Xmas fic only met around 1k when my goal was 2k - sometimes this happens and i cant be mad if i think the story is done there.

it’s never that organised though, if you look at my drafts, it’s a scrabble of words. i jump from scene to scene with big gaps in between that i need to fill in later 😭 but that’s just how i write LOL ! you may be totally different from me which is a-okay :3

then i grind til the fic is done, reread then bam 💪 ! do my usual formatting on tumblr, tags, and then you’ll see the final result!! easier said than done bc when you want to be done with a fic and just post it, you then need to do all the actual presentation of the fic 😭😭😭

anyways yeah, that’s my process summarised lol!! hope it helped u get a little bit of an idea for what the earthtooz blog grind looks like 🫡

I think they could get along great. Dalia likes strategy board games, chess in particular is one of her faves. Also, I feel like she'd want to play a board game that is half luck half strategy and try to use her wits to win against Kome's luck hahah

She would probably see through her mask as well, Dalia is really perceptive, but as long as she doesn't sense malice, she won't mind. Everyone has things they want to keep from others~

All in all, I think they'd get along as game buddies, at least!

Domas and Rubina:

Well, I have to start this saying that Domas likes pretty much everyone and is always friendly, it's not common that he dislikes someone from the get go hahah

He would definitely make some sweets for her if he thought she wanted some~ (he's better at cooking, but his baking skill is good too!). And they could chat while enjoying them~

And, if she talks about any of her investigations or cases, he'd gladly offer his help!! It's a really important thing she's doing!! But... Rubina might not want his help, because he gives the worst advice all the time (unintentionally lol). He would most likely point her in the completely wrong direction if she lets him help lmao

But yea, if she can ignore his nonsense, I think they could get along~

Szilárd and Carol:

Well, completely contrary to Domas, Szi doesn't like anyone at first lmao. And Carol is a human and, from what I got from reading her info, really talented and helpful with people. So, I have to say that Szi would not like her at all. He isn't fond of humans and, particularly, he's really bad with "talented people". He'd be quite mean with her for sure, always judging her and acting as if he were superior. He'd also think Carol is unworthy of Diasomnia at first and will openly say so.

But well, that's the Szi at the start of the plot. He does get a wake up call later and tries to mend his ways, be a bit nicer and social.

I did see Carol likes to read a lot, so that probably would be what would make them get along, if it were to happen. Szi reads everything as long as is good, so he'd always have recommendations and would welcome some from others too~

Dillon and Peko:

This boy is quite simple and doesn't think too much about anything akdndifn But I can say that if he sees Peko singing, he'd most likely try and join her hahah Even if he doesn't know the song, he'd just freestyle some chorus or he'd say "me next!" When she's done with one song and sing himself xD If Peko does play along and sing with him, he'd eventually learn her songs too and start singing those as well~

And, if to that you add Peko being nice to him, then he'd like her for sure. He's easily bribed with food too so, if she needed him to so something for her, that is the way lmao

So yea, they'll probably get along. At least from Dillon's perspective xD
