I’ve been thinking about when to make their birthdays– I’m a tiny bit conflicted. I usually like to just make my OCs birthdays as whenever they were actually first created! (*^‿^*)

In that case, Kairos’ birthday would be December 2nd, and Luka’s birthday would be March 7th. But… Kairos as a Sagittarius, and Luka as a Pisces??? >_<;;;;;;;;;;;;;

(Ok I don’t take astrology signs too seriously, but I think it’s a little funny ( ´ ▿ ` ). )

Every year around Kairos’ birthday, he’ll often fall into a mild depression of sorts. ^^;;;;; It only ever brings up bad memories for him. He hates his birthday.

Going to school as a kid on his birthday, only for nobody to so much as acknowledge him. Going home, only for his parents to not even glance at him. No cakes, no gifts, nothing. He’d often spend his birthdays lying in bed while trying to sleep the day away, intensely wanting for it to just be over with. (-ω-、)

In the present day, he often tries to forget that it’s his birthday at all– but he can’t help but constantly check his phone, hoping that somebody, anybody, has sent him a text. It's compulsive. He also waits for his parents to give him a call.

…But that call never comes.

So, when darling comes around and celebrates his birthday? He would genuinely not know how to respond. If you hand him a gift or give/bake him a cake, tears will instantly start spilling from his eyes as he thanks you endlessly.

“Y-you really didn’t have to do all of this…! I, you… You…”

"You're the first person to... To ever d-do this..."

If you spoil him on his birthday, all of the previous painful memories will fade away, and it’ll become one of his favorite holidays.

On your birthday, he’ll absolutely treat you like royalty! He’s the type to make plans weeks to months in advance. He wants your birthday to be absolutely perfect! ＼(≧▽≦)／

Throughout the year, he’ll scrape up extra money and save it up, just so he can purchase you a really expensive gift. Oh, and he’ll make you a cake himself–! He watches tons of YouTube tutorials on how to make one, and occasionally he’d practice.

It… Still wouldn’t taste very good. But he made it with lots of love!! The cake is your favorite flavor and color! >_<;;;;

As for Luka, he doesn’t feel one way or another about his birthday. To him, it’s just another day.

Like, yeah… He was born today… So what? Who cares? It’s not important.

Some of his acquaintances will wish him a happy birthday, as well as his coworkers. His father might call him and wish him a happy birthday. But nobody really celebrates with him– mostly because Luka prefers to keep people at a distance. He’d probably get an invitation to go drinking after work, but he’d just politely decline.

However, when you come along and celebrate his birthday– his opinion on things will shift. He’d suddenly start looking forward to his special day, wondering what kinds of things you might have in store for him!

And when your birthday comes around, he’ll make sure it’s a day you’ll never forget. Breakfast in bed, taking a day off work, handing you gifts every hour, etc.! He’ll also do whatever you want him to do– only for your birthday. (o˘◡˘o)

To end the night, he’ll treat you to dinner at a fancy restaurant, or perhaps he’ll take you to go watch a movie! And once the two of you get back home, he’ll be quick to lead you back to the bedroom, focusing only on you and your pleasure.

I'm hesitant, because I barely have any accurate artwork of them (and what I do have isn't drawn by me, actually), but it would be kind of hypocritical and silly for me to shy away from the question after that post, so...

In total I have about 30 proseka ocs and they keep on multiplying, but here's my focus for the time being.

Kawaakari Orchestra, or KWKO for stort, is a unit of 6 classical musicians that participate in chamber music/classical music competition on a national level in Japan; however, there's a twist - the competition is specifically designed to modernize and revolutionise the approach to how classical music is presented to the general public, so there's a lot of non-traditional elements both during performances and in between them.

In short, this is not what they signed up for (with some of the members even being picked up somewhat involuntarily), and the competition is fierce and nobody is having fun on the journey to victory - but also self-exploration, healing and mending their relationship with their lives and each other.

Their sekai is Conservatory Sekai, which is similar to Leo/need's school set up but instead of empty classrooms there are empty lecture halls and practice rooms; one main practice room which is very spacious and open and several smaller, more private ones. All the Virtual Singers are the same as in canon and all play the same instruments the cast does.

There are also two new schools for all OCs to attend because I wanted more creative freedom over that!

We have an Aquarius stelllium and our Sun, Mercury, Venus, Pluto and Chiron in the 5th house. Our Aquarius stellium in composite signifies how we met through the internet and how our friendship can be unconventional. "Opposites attract". We have an understanding of each other. Sun and I both come together to express our creative desires. We also have similar musical tastes and artistic hobbies. Our inner child(s) is able to express themselves freely and feel safe (especially with our Pluto in the 4th house and our Moon at 21°. We can feel like "family" or "siblings"). We are able to heal parts of our childhood together. Sun and I also play video games or watch videos in our free time. We discover new interests by spending quality time (During our friendship we both discovered we liked to play chess. Now it is one of our favorite things to do together! Which requires the use of our Capricorn Mercury since it involves logic and skill. We also play old dress up games from the 2000's 👚💄👡, which could correspond to our Libra Jupiter in the 2nd house, it makes us feel happy and nostalgic in a good way!). Sun and I are also each other's peers and we share the same birth month / birth year! There is also security and stability with our Capricorn Venus in the 5th house 8°. In the beginning of our friendship we were both anxious and worried about whether not one of us liked each other and we were worried about being annoying (Scorpio chiron in the 4th house). The parts of ourselves we feel insecure about is what each of us appreciates.

Peace and reassurance

With our moon in Gemini 11° in the 11th house - We were meant to share wisdom with one another and find contentment in our mental rapport. Even though we are two close individuals, we still have different thoughts and feelings. I am an extrovert and Sun is more of an introvert. I can be a chatterbox around people that allow me to express myself without judgement and I feel I have been able to just listen more and wait for my turn in our friendship, I have learned a lot! Another thing is that often we have trouble putting our thoughts into words but after explaining what is bothering us, we are able to understand the underlying issue. Our Mercury being at 7° makes it a safe space for us to be fair and balanced when we have a conversation. With our Neptune and Uranus in the 6th house. Sun and I are also able to find fun in mundane tasks by tackling them together. We also understand when one or the other person is busy or wants alone time. We can find ways to spend time with each other while still keeping our independence. We are both spontaneous people and don't like to do tedious things (I remember one time we were both procrastinating at the same time and we kept telling each other we'd get to it😭??? Also we both agreed to learn a language together and we never started fr 💀 I blame Sun though, tsk tsk 😒🤧)

Conflict and weaknesses

With our Aries Saturn in the 9th house 29°, we are forced to push each other to pursue what we are most afraid of. To face what makes us most uncomfortable. Interesting enough is that Saturn is the planet of karma and our Saturn is at a karmic degree. Sun and I both lack assertiveness in some areas. We go to each other for advice and seem to find the strength to resolve the issue, but it could be a problem if we over rely on the other person to always give us that confidence boost. We are brave together, but we also must learn to fight our own battles. Aquarius Mars in the 6th house 10° could make us do things that are unpredictable, which makes us inconsistent in regards to projects. We are better off just sharing our thoughts and gaining creative inspiration from one another. Then achieve our goals independently rather than doing things together. We could get aggravated at the other person for not being responsible enough (when really we could just both be irresponsible lol).

Food for thought

We are literally always hungry 😭. Sun has me randomly at times pick what she eats for a meal and whenever we watch variety tv shows together, I start snacking. Our Gemini Moon typically has us eat foods that are quick and convenient. We can talk about food a lot in general. Sun and I could like to eat foods together while traveling or eat foods from a foreign country/culture.

What sets us apart

With our Leo ascendant and Aquarius stellium. We visually stand out together! It can be obvious to others that we are different but that is what makes us unique. It's like when you wear two different socks. The patterns and colors are all mixed up but it still serves it's purpose by making your feet warm and cozy! I am reminded of Katie and Sadie from Total Drama Island. They were best friends that wore the same exact outfit and hairstyle but both of them obviously looked different, yet they were still the cutest pair!

What brings us together

With our Leo north node, we have similar destinies and felt magnetically drawn to one another. After reading Sun's PAC about what my life as a celebrity would be like, I dmed her asking if we could exchange readings. Sun stated that my energy felt different from other people who approached, so she agreed. We grew close ever since that day and we have been able to find our path to success / adulthood a little easier. We are able to get past some of our insecurities and feel more confident in each other's presence. Sun and I are also both college students with similar majors as well (Communication / PR). With our North node and Alma asteroid in the first house, our souls recognized each other. It was destined for us to meet again in this lifetime. There was a inner knowing, even though we couldn't explain what it was and that we both just had a good feeling about each other. With our composite south node in the 7th house, we have a strong platonic bond. We can trust and depend on each other, but we have to be careful of creating a pattern of codependency in our friendship. Our Alma asteroid being in Virgo 7° manifests as the importance of needing a routine with one another. If we were to ever go a long time without contact, it could possibly make us feel lost. Acts of service and quality time could be a big theme in our friendship. We would be successful as work partners as well, but there is a need to achieve tasks independently and to make sure to give each other space when needed. Libra Jupiter in the 2nd house 3° is a good indication of our ability to attract abundance naturally.

Biggering Animation (Log #6)

I need honest opinions, would you guys be sad / upset if the Biggering animation wasn't out by March 2nd (like I had promised)? University has been pretty intense; papers, a 2D animated short film and a 3D VR project are all due in 3 weeks (if you're wondering, I'm studying the Bachelor of Animation) before I finish up for the year and get my summer break and even then, I'm still working on this all by myself (another factor is that I also have a life lol). I seriously want to commit to getting Biggering out by March 2nd for the movie's 12th anniversary, but I'm unsure if I can all by myself. I mentioned in my discord server that I may open positions for background artists if needed (closer to March tho, I may open it in January). Since I am also an ambitious person, I've been thinking about re-animating the scene where the Lorax flies away as a little treat for the ending / credits / special thanks... but that would also take time AAAAAAA anyways, lemme know what you guys think, I highly appreciate everyone's thoughts on potentially pushing the release date to April 22nd (Earth Day, also my birthday :D... or perhaps a little later, I don't know yet) Original animatic / storyboards by: @rafatello

🐓 Headcanons: Shane's past 🌶️

The following is all just my opinion and personal headcanons on Shane's life before moving to stardew valley :) Marnie remarks in canon that he only moved in a few months before the farmer did, so it seems like a lot went on for him before then!

LONG POST ..

🐥Childhood🐥

Shane was.. unplanned. His parents had a rather unstable marriage, and no desire for a child. It happened anyway.

Shane's childhood was rocky from day one. Neither parent really wanted to look after him, because neither of them had ever really wanted him. He was often just left to his own devices or to a babysitter.

Both of his parents had an alcohol problem. They would fight over it frequently, and had very unhealthy attitudes toward it.

After their fights, his mother would usually go out drinking, and his father would usually drink and watch TV. Drinking as a way of "coping" was something that Shane was repeatedly exposed to in his youth. He was never really shown any healthy coping mechanisms.

Occasionally, he'd get dropped off at Marnie's when his parents went away for a night or weekend. Shane and Marnie had a good relationship and Marnie grew to regret not being able to have him more often as a child. Shane's parents didn't like to make the trip to Stardew Valley too often, but Marnie wished she could have seen him more.

Other than occasionally taking care of Shane, Marnie and Shane's parents had practically cut ties. Marnie never really got along with her sister and when Marnie realised how terrible a mother she was being, that was the final straw.

At school, Shane didn't have many friends. Since his parents had never bothered to properly socialise him, he had his social anxiety set in very early and found it difficult to interact with other kids at school. Despite not having many friends, he was never really bullied either. Kids sort of instinctively knew not to mess with him.

If his 2nd grade teacher had to describe Shane, they'd have said he was very quiet, reclusive and withdrawn, but was creative with a spectacular imagination.

Throughout his life, Shane brought home consistently average grades. Usually C's and B's, maybe an occasional D here and there.

After school, Shane liked to practice playing gridball. He was always a part of the school gridball team, and his teachers always noted it was the only time anyone saw him come out of his shell.

He would also go home and watch gridball on TV as often as he could. Sometimes his dad would be watching it in the living room with a beer, and Shane would lurk in the corner, intently watching the game too.

Shane's favourite player and hero played for the Zuzu city tunnelers and wore the number 2. He idolised this player and often imagined what it'd be like if this player was his dad instead.

🐔Teenage years🐔

During his teenage years in school, Shane didn't change much. He brought home average grades, stayed quiet and reclusive, and kept out of people's way.

During this time, his egg cracked and he socially transitioned, alleviating a lot of the dysphoria he'd been experiencing. He also came out to his parents, who were almost completely apathetic to it. Shane figured this was a win, it was better if they didn't care.

He continued playing gridball and would go for long runs when he wasn't playing. He gained a good amount of stamina and gained a good amount of muscle mass during this time.

He didn't really speak to or see Marnie during this time. She sent him birthday cards but that was about the limit of their communication.

During this time, he became very close friends with two of his classmates. The trio all loved sports and could be seen training together pretty often.

🐔 16-20 🐔

At this age, Shane became almost totally independent from his parents. He stopped speaking to them completely, and rarely even saw them. He wasn't home much and neither were they.

At high school, he maintained his strong friendship with the two classmates. His two friends became a couple, but Shane was never treated as a third wheel. He was still their best friend and the three did many things together.

Occasionally, Shane would sneak out with them and go for drinks. Despite being young, he would sometimes stay out all night and go to parties.

Shane was formally a member of his high school's gridball team. He was a well loved player and talented at that. His entire team loved him.

Shane fondly looks back on this period as one of the best times in his entire life. He wishes things afterwards could have been different.

🐓Twenties🐓

Straight after high school ended, Shane moved out. More accurately, his parents kicked him out, claiming that he could afford to look after himself.

Because of this, Shane crashed with his two friends for a while. This lasted until he found a job and had enough money to rent a small place.

When Shane was still in his early twenties, one of the two friends became pregnant, and nine months later gave birth to baby Jas. The couple formally made Shane her godfather.

As Jas grew, Shane slowly became involved in her life. Starting in his mid twenties, his friends would sometimes have her stay at Shane's house while they went out. Jas loved Shane a lot, and he would teach her how to play gridball, or let her stay up late to watch movies. He was kind of her cool uncle.

It was on one of these nights that a serious accident took place. Jas' parents were both killed in a freak accident, and Shane's life was changed forever.

It turned out that Shane was the only person who had been named to take custody of Jas should anything happen. He took her in, of course, but he'd never be the same again.

Shane was in a perpetual state of shock. He didn't know how to handle himself. His only close friends were dead, he had to grieve somehow, and now he had to take care of a child that he loved but wasn't prepared for.

The next few years were extremely rough, and one of the worst periods of Shane's life. He started drinking heavily to cope with the loss, having never been shown any other ways of dealing with sadness. He was always kind to Jas, but he had to put in more and more hours at work to sustain the both of them. He'd needed a bigger apartment so that Jas could have extra space, but he couldn't afford the rent and was quickly going bankrupt due to low wages and his brain steadily becoming addicted to alcohol.

Shane had a major breakdown when he realised what was happening to him. He waited until Jas had gone to bed, and broke down sobbing in his apartment for the loss of his friends, the loss of control, the loss of his health, financial stability, and the loss of his entire life.

Shane had become very very depressed - the illness had come on rapidly, and he couldn't bring himself to do basic necessities like brushing his teeth or getting up on time for work anymore. He dreaded becoming like his own parents, but all he saw in the mirror was his mother and father staring right back at him.

At some point, Shane began to consider suicide. It was a nagging thought in the back of his mind, a quick escape. He had no plan at this point, but it was always on his mind.

He hit a breaking point one freezing winter night when he could no longer pay his rent and realised he was going to be evicted, and called the only person that he thought might be able to help him. His aunt Marnie.

Marnie was shocked to hear the deep, gruff voice on the other end of the phone - she hadn't seen her Nephew since he was little, so it was an even bigger surprise when he was standing at her door, with a couple of suitcases, dark, sunken in eyes, straggly hair and a face that could only be described as entirely miserable.

Of course, Marnie welcomed Shane and Jas best she could, and let her nephew know that the new superstore to the right of the village was hiring. Shane quickly applied and started working at Jojamart.

Shane's life became monotone from there, but at least it was stable. At least Jas was safe, and at least he had a job. His depression went untreated and steadily worsened, but you know that...

Little did he know, Shane's life was about to take a dramatic turn one more time when a new farmer would move into town, just north of aunt Marnie's ranch...!

     beth harmon is orphaned at age eight when her mother dies in a car crash.   growing up in an orphanage in kentucky,   she is taught chess by the custodian mr.   shaibel,   and soon becomes a chess prodigy.   while at the orphanage,   she struggles with an addiction to tranquilizers.   in her teens she is adopted by the wheatley family and begins her rapid rise in the chess world,   eventually challenging the top soviet players.   as her skill and profile grows,   so does her dependency on tranquilizers and eventually alcohol

     in her adulthood,   beth is portrayed as an obsessive,   unable to keep any other element in her life in order outside of her own rise within the chess competitive landscape.   she is a young woman with undiagnosed autism and a good portion of her hyperfixation on the game of chess can be attributed to her particular neurosis.   she is also someone who is fairly socially awkward and prefers her own company over the company of others.   part of the reason why she enjoys chess is the fact that it doesn't require a conversation or an interaction between players besides what is occurring on the board itself.

     outside of her career she has trouble maintaining personal relationships.   between her addictions and the amount of focus she puts into improving her strategies,   she is an unreliable friend,   often disappearing for months at a time without a single phone call or word.   overall she is a difficult person to get close to,   especially to those who exist outside of the competitive world of chess.   the game will always be the center of her life no matter who chooses to stay by her side.

bridgerton /  regency: both a prodigy and an oddity alike.   in the wake of the death of beth's adoptive mother she is sent to live with extended family in england,   as she was without any support at all in virginia.   as an orphan she was hidden away from society and kept in the upper levels of her aunt's home.   soon enough,   her penchant for chess is made known to the estate's maids and word eventually travels to her aunt who seeks to exploit her niece as a public spectacle.   beth is often dragged along to balls and set up in the parlor to play chess against party-goers for entertainment.   while she is admired for her skills she is still persona non grata,  given her lack of social standing and her status as a woman without a dowry to be given.   she exists on the fringes of high society,   just within reach but never a part of it.   

ninth house / dark academia: what would you do to never lose again?    after a crushing defeat on the competitive chess circuit beth looks to unsavory means to ensure all her future victories.   making a faustian bargain with a chaos demon she sells a fraction of her soul for boundless luck.   enrolling into yale as a mathematics and russian language double major she seeks out the school's magical underbelly once her demon begins to slip its leash.    

grishaverse: hailing from the wandering isle beth is currently a student enrolled in the university of ketterdam.   when she's not in classes she can be seen making bets over chess with her wealthy classmates.   her wins help fund her tuition and also are a way for her to practice her heartrending abilities by checking the pulse points of her opponents.   knowing their heart rates helps her guess their next move… and she may toy with the nervous system of her more vindictive adversaries.   her grisha status is a secret to the broader public and only her friend jolene is aware of beth's affinity.   

pjo / greco-roman myth verse: a gifted tactician and roman demi-goddess, beth is a daughter of mars and valued asset of the legion due to her mind for strategy. her efforts to protect the roman encampment are usually carried out from behind closed doors and she is a figure heavily shrouded in mystery as she herself has never seen battle despite being the progeny of a war god ( this verse is still HEAVILY under construction but i am looking to develop it further ! )

Somehow I just saw this ask but yes!! I'd love to talk about this. Some of this is headcanoning considering we barely got to see 2nd dimension Vanessa. Also this will probably be long because I have much to ramble about (it is the English major in me lol)

But let's look at what we do see of her:

-In the first movie, there is a brief scene where she mentions 2D-Doofenshmirtz banishing one her boyfriends

-In Tales from The Resistance, she helps her parents escape after being cornered by the resistance and also reveals she un-banished a boyfriend or friend.

So there's a couple things this implies. The first is pretty important for her relationship with Doof in this dimension. 2D-Doofenshmirtz is far more controlling over Vanessa than "our" Doof. Obviously there are some episodes where 1D-Doofenshmirtz disapproves of who Vanessa is dating. But the thing is: the Doofenshmirtz we know would never even think to interfere with his daughter's relationships. It's also worth noting that for 1D-Doof, his feelings are based on concern rather than control. He doesn't disapprove because he wants to control his daughter's life, but because he has a genuine worry that the boy Vanessa is with may not being treating her with the respect she deserves. And he ends up being right about this, leading Vanessa to date Monty who she forms a great relationship with.

But what about Vanessa's perspective on all this, in both dimensions? Well, in the 1st dimension, Vanessa & Doof's discussion about her former bf is actually pretty loving. It comes up because Doof notices Vanessa is upset, leading them to talk. While Doofenshmirtz does say he's unsure of the "bad boy" types Vanessa dates, at no point does he get mad or ask her to break up with her boyfriend. Hell, Vanessa's response to his comment is to hug him and remind Doof that he is also evil. For a disagreement, it's a pretty loving moment between the two. To me it’s pretty clear Vanessa’s reaction comes from the fact she trusts her dad. She knows that even though he disagrees with her, he’s not going to punish her or get angry. She also tries to make him understand her POV, which kind of implies she knows she can have open discussions with her father. That’s pretty important. With 2D-Vanessa it’s different. She confronts 2D-Doofenshmirtz about her boyfriend’s banishment, but she’s almost immediately dismissed by him. I also remember her sounding somewhat exasperated about the whole ordeal. It’s like this is something she has to deal with often. She’s tired of it.

2D-Vanessa probably has a complicated dynamic with her family. She helps them escape and Charlene at least doesn't seem to mind the idea of Vanessa having boyfriends. We don't really know much about what it's like with her & Doof aside from what I've listed. My guess is that either he's a lot more focused on work than 1st-D Doofensmirtz and does not put as much time aside for birthdays/trips/Vanessa's interests as the Doofensmirtz we know. In other words it's possible he's distant. It could also be that he handles everything in her life like he does her boyfriends. She gets a bad grade in school? The teacher is fed to a monster. It's her birthday? He orders every person in the tri-state area to attend or else they will be fed to monsters. She needs new clothes? He forces people to make them for her. Basically everything he does that he claims is supportive involves doing evil stuff. And a lot of it is, again, based on control (either of Vanessa or the situations she finds herself in). The thing I can't see is him just...being a dad the way he is in the first dimension. Aside from Charlene he also has like...no connections with other people in this dimension. He seems to forget that the Normbots have personalities half the time, just kind of sending them to do tasks. He never really has conversations with them. He brainwashed Perry and kind of just uses him like a solider or guard. We don't really see any of the other love muffin people.

Either way, if 2D-Vanessa comes back I'd love to see the show explore her feelings on...everything. Considering she helped her parents escape, she probably at least think she wants to be evil. I could see her realizing that she doesn't actually like the evil stuff, and has just kind of been expected to do it. (Kind of like a parallel to 2D-Candace ahaha). Could also have her reflect on how she feels towards her parents. Her current design is really similar to normal Vanessa, but maybe she could get a new look as she figures herself out? I kind of wonder if she would want to wear more color than what we're used to, considering how grey Doofensmirtz forced the world to be. Probably nothing super bright but maybe dark blues? A subtle streak of some color in her hair? Who knows. It would also be nice to see her reconnect with more old friends who were banished. Speaking of friends, what's her dynamic with Perry? I like to think they were bros before all of this and also get to reconnect. I think all of this would be more interesting than her also being evil. We already had that twist with Charlene--let there be ONE good member of the Doofensmirtz family in this dimension. Also there's so so much potential there.

Initially I was getting lazy and didn't want to do anything, but I haven't been doing much physical activity other than stretching so I pushed myself to do a workout! (๑>◡<๑) I'm glad I did because I feel good mentally afterwards so yippee!
