rewatching double life right now but through jimmys pov and just realized how violently ill rancher duo makes me /aff
like there's no way there's a duo THIS healthy in this series. the whole fucking point of the life series is betrayal and deception and blah blah blah all that jazz but rancher duo never did any of that. they always told eachother their plans, ideas, schemes, where they were going. and even if they didn't cough cough jimmy going into the deep dark cough cough he still came clean and told tango anyways. we have someone who's death is such a staple in the fandom/series that it's become a whole thing and someone who's death you go "oh yeahhh i forgot about that one, how'd he die again?"
they're both so ignored and the fact that they pay so much attention to eachother literally makes me sick to my stomach /hj /aff
like i don't know much about flower husbands but like. i know it probably wasn't.. the healthiest of any of the ships so take my words with a grain of sand here. jimmy was practically invisible to scott no hate love him to death but c!scott IS on my hit list and tango is just so blatantly ignored by the watchers and other members sometimes i literally forget he's there and when i do my autism shoots up like a firework.
jimmy is mocked in a /lh way but we're talking abt their c!versions so that might not be as lighthearted as you think c!jimmy sorry bud so much to the point no one takes him seriously and tango is so forgotten that no one takes him seriously. though they might not be taken seriously when they're together they're still known throughout the server. jimmy has what tango doesn't: patience and less impulsive thinking. and tango has what jimmy doesn't: rage and more tactical thinking.
while tango is going absolutely apeshit over the ranch burning down and everyone is basically taunting him, making him even more upset as if either of them need that jimmy is the one to hold tango back. he doesn't want him rushing in not because they share health and trying to keep himself safe desert duo im looking at you, you toxic bastards /aff but because he genuinely CARES about him. because when they go after scar and grian they want to be prepared and logical about their attacks. he'll still listen and follow through with tangos plan but not when they don't have one, he was so excited to bring the warden to grian and scar because he genuinely believed that they would get revenge the safe way (as safe as you can get anyways)
and when the plan backfired he didn't get mad or upset at tango. he helped him through it with the knowledge they could both die just by one small slip up but damnit if he's gonna take them out he's standing tall next to him.
they never got mad at eachother. not when the plans backfired or when jimmy died and lost all his stuff and had to travel across the whole server just to not get his stuff back or when jimmy went into the deep dark, putting them both in danger or when tango got them both killed in the FIRST EPISODE, activating his curse again (i know it wasn't technically jimmy that died but he still lost a life so i'm counting it anyways shut up)
because grian would've been pissed (talking about character versions still stick with me here) at scar if the roles were swapped, probably would've kept him at their base for the whole damn season actually. but jimmy listened to tango, obviously he was upset but never at tango. he just wanted to know what lead up to that and from that they made a plan.
the difference between team rancher and desert duo is when scars falling grian yells out for him, not because he cares about scars safety but because he cares about his safety.
meanwhile when tangos falling jimmy jumps after him while screaming his name, making sure that if he's going to die it's tangos name staining his tongue and without the selfish intent of keeping himself safe.
because when grain looks into scars eyes he only sees himself. meanwhile when jimmy looks into tangos eyes he sees tango looking back.

Every time I learn something new about Batman: War Games I lose my mind a little bit more cause just, just fuckin, look okay so here's the thing:
Stephanie Brown tries to implement a contingency plan of Bruce's just after he fires her from being Robin and because of that gets tortured to (almost) death and no one knows she survived.
THIS STORY RUNS IN THE NEWS:
Tumblr media
So, you know, anyone who might be paying even half a fucking ounce of attention to news about ROBINS would definitely absolutely notice this!!!
And then very very soon afterwards Jason comes back and specifically targets Black Mask to ruin the criminal empire he tortured Stephanie to get
As a way to torment Bruce about the fact that he doesn't take care of the nastiest criminals and they continue killing people
And how Jason should have been the last to die
and SOMEHOW
these two things are in no way related and Jason has nothing to do with or say about Stephanie Brown, fellow Robin, fellow martyred soldier, fellow child dead due to Bruce related villains.
HOLY DEAD SIDEKICKS BATMAN, DO YOU COMPREHEND THE MAGNITUDE OF MISSED OPPORTUNITIES HERE????
Tumblr media
please walk with me down a timeline in which:
Lost Days Jason at first just tries to go after the Joker and can't because who he's really mad at is Bruce.
Then he sees Who Really Killed Stephanie Brown and the utter horror of another Robin dying on Bruce's watch (not just dying, but tortured to death!) is what convinces him to try to straight up kill Bruce via car bomb
Roman Sionis is no longer merely a tool against Batman, but another figure to demand vengeance be brought upon, another attempt to give Bruce a chance to right his wrongs and do what needs to be done
The confrontation with him and the Joker being all the more tragic due to how obvious Bruce's answer would have to be once Jason knows Bruce isn't going to avenge Stephanie either
Does Jason, once he escapes the rubble after UtRH is over, kill Black Mask anyways? Does he decide to avenge her himself? Or does he think that she too would demand that of Bruce, and find his death by a different hand unsatisfactory?
If he doesn't kill Black Mask, then when Steph is back, I feel confident he approaches her, tries to reach out to the other dead Robin, almost certainly makes the offer now that he can ask her. Does she take him up on it, gaining an ally and slipping into a far darker role? Does she instead refuse, either appealing to forgiveness or far more interestingly refusing both vengeance and forgiveness? How would Jason handle a refusal, which I gut instinct feel is more likely?
If he does kill Black Mask, then when Steph is back Jason drops his corpse at her feet like a loving housecat with a dead lizard and she has to grapple with her feelings about having someone really and truly avenge her!!! Like how DO you react to someone who you have been warned is wildly dangerous and mentally unstable coming up to you and saying, "I'm glad you're back, like me. I'm sorry you're back, like me. I made sure you could rest knowing he was dead, because I know what it feels like."
Like no matter how each character reacted to this happening there would be so much high stakes emotional shit to explore with both of them!! Revenge I feel like is such a pivotal thing for both characters, they mirror each other in so so many ways, they could be really interesting together if DC would just fucking let them!!!
Jason had a criminal father who he missed and wanted to avenge. Stephanie had a criminal father who she wanted vengeance on.
Jason started off as a fairly gentle soul who progressively became more violent and more hopeless as he was exposed to genuine horrors during his time as Robin. Stephanie starts off violent, angry and rash and finds her own courage and hope through her time as a crime fighter despite of the horrors she's been through.
Jason went to Africa and died there after Bruce failed to save him. Stephanie was taken to Africa via a fake death in order to save her from Bruce and the vigilante lifestyle.
I just...
There's just...
There's SO MUCH HERE I am genuinely fucking confused as to how this is not all deliberate?? And it's all just left on the cutting room floor because for no reason apparent to me they all just decided Stephanie and Jason were not gonna interact!
AAGHHHH!

hello!! I am kinda nervous to write this bc I absolutely love your writing and the way you portray Toby is just so real. I love how you make him both a loser and a force of nature, like just bc he has no rizz doesn't mean he can't do anything lol. But I was lowkey thinking about your stories the other day and like, what if Y/N also had some screws loose? Like he pops up at her house covered in the blood of some guy who wouldn't leave her alone and instead of calling the police like a smart person she's just like: " 😳 omg you did this for me??" I know it's unrealistic and silly but it's also kind of interesting???
Ticci Toby x Violent! Reader
Toby with an unhinged reader? Well - there's a recipe for disaster lmao.
I know I said I'm not taking requests but this ended up becoming a scenario. I just had some inspo - hope this is what you were looking for! Because the reader isn't submissive? Idk
Y/N has some messed-up thoughts and there are mentions of violence under the cut!:
The reader I imagine in this case would have only seen how cringey Toby is - thinking he was just a creepy guy who's taken a liking to them and would avoid him at all costs. Probably up until this point assume that he's a wimp (Toby would initially try his best to seem weaker and unassuming when he approaches the person he likes)
The scenario I imagine is that Y/N grew up around conflict, and is fully comfortable around violence, even throwing a few punches themselves here and there. Maybe ended up in Juvie when they were younger and now works in some retail job - something where they regularly interact with the general public.
A customer tries to hit on Y/N when Toby's there - big mistake.
But Toby doesn't say anything at first.
He doesn't have to.
Y/N immediately shuts the customer down. But the guy doesn't let up. Curses are thrown back and forth, Y/N's wrist is grabbed.
He touched you.
Toby doesn't like that. Not one bit.
You get reprimanded by your boss after you punched the unruly customer in the face.
Luckily they didn't press charges.
You had a bit of an edge, from your surly demeanor and fucked sense of humor, but Toby had no idea you'd do that.
Kind of turned him on. He knew he picked you for a reason.
But alas, that was the extent of your revenge. You already had a record of aggravated assault and you didn't need another one added to the list.
Luckily for you that scrawny, lanky boy who always stared at you when he came in had a plan in motion.
Late at night, a knock on the door wakes you up from a nap on the couch. Of course, you look through the peephole first before answering.
Red.
Everything is red.
Only until you hear a familiar voice pipe up do you realize who it is.
Toby.
The blood covered so much of his face it was hard to point out who he was at first.
He speaks to you through the door, somehow already knowing you're there.
And he tells you what he did.
It takes a moment for you to process all the grizzly details, the way he followed the man, cornered him in an alley, and beat him so hard he'd pretty sure he cracked his skull on the brick wall.
He sounded giddy about it. Gleeful.
He was far from the loser you thought he was.
And you liked it.
Liked that he did that for you.
After all, in your head, hurting someone for someone else was the greatest form of love. It was the kind of devotion you'd always dreamed of from a partner.
You open the door.
Toby is surprised, but soon sees a look on your face he recognized. The kind of expression of sick joy and arousal that comes with blood lust.
You're blushing too. Blushing for him.
Everything was finally coming together perfectly, and once you let him into your home, he's never going to leave.
The relationship would start right off the bat. Toby is one to rush things.
It's all to claim you. Both mentally and physically. So you're attached to the hip pretty much. Expect a lot of PDA (Toby does not care who sees lol)
And a reader who's fully on board?
Yeah you're going to bring out the worst in each other. He'll encourage you to do more crimes, to get bloodier, to join him.
It would be a very bad situation for everyone involved.
But especially for anyone unfortunate enough to cross the paths of you two lovebirds.

When You Know, You Know {Osamu Dazai}
Tumblr media Tumblr media
A/n: so this idea came like this morning and omg I wanted to write it so bad because I need some good angsty yet sort of fluffy Dazai fic mostly because I want Dazai to get comfort. Also YES I USED A SNOW LINE FROM HUNGER GAMES. ANYWAYS PLEASE READ THE TRIGGER WARNINGS
Pairing: Dazai x assassin!fem!reader
TRIGGER WARNINGS: character deaths, mentions of violent crime scene, Mori, murder, YES I AM A MORI HATER, blood, mentions of abuse
Tumblr media
It had been four years since you left Port Mafia. You left the day after Dazai did -after enduring the torture Mori ordered upon you because he thought Dazai had contacted you- without contacting a single soul even though it was more than certain that the few people close to you -Chuuya and Koyou- would be worried sick. Was it because you wanted to get out of the organisation as soon as possible or because you wanted to somehow get revenge because Dazai had left you alone without a single warning.
Like everyone in the Port Mafia you heard about Oda's death the day after it happened -the day Dazai left- and something in your heart broke because even though you, seventeen years old at the time, were under the protection and guidance of Koyou along with Chuuya, you knew Oda. He had grown on you and if it hadn't been for Dazai mentioning him whenever the two of you sat in the dark in his container, it would have been because of Oda's gentle personality amidst the cruelty of the Port Mafia.
It went without saying that with Chuuya and Dazai being closest to you in age with them being one year older, you had naturally developed a somewhat nice relationship which had first started because of your respective positions: Dazai and Chuuya being executives and you being an assassin. You often went to missions with Dazai and Chuuya -always upon Dazai's request of your abilities- so after some time you became friends with the bandaged executive and soon after, lovers.
Had your relationship with Dazai been toxic? Absolutely yes and even though you both knew it, you couldn't actually help but come back for more. Both of you. So when he left like that? You were simply devastated.
And it took you a long time to feel like yourself again. In the meantime, you still worked as an assassin, performing various missions given to you by quite the important people.
You put your life in the Port Mafia in the past, a dark past that you didn't like visiting. But since you worked in the Underground you heard all sorts of things. That was how the fact that Mori had requested for a member of the Detective Agency to be transfered to the Port Mafia reached your ears.
You had heard that Dazai was now working for the Detective Agency and had reached the point of visiting him countless times before. The thought that he could be the one transfered to the Port Mafia kept you up at night for numerous days. How you had reached the point of caring for someone who perhaps hadn't cared about you was beyond you and yet there you were.
The sound the elevator at the Port Mafia building made when it reached Mori's floor specifically was almost like a stab right in the heart. All those memories were coming back, days of torture and manipulation from Mori's side that if not all then almost everyone among the higher-ups in the organisation had endured.
The whole thing lasted fifteen minutes. Just fifteen minutes was all it took for the man who ruined lives to die.
"Y/n?" Chuuya's voice snapped you out of your train of thought. Slowly, you lifted your head, your eyes falling upon the clock on the wall on the other end of the hallway. No wonder Chuuya was there, it was nearly eight in the morning, all Port Mafia members would start coming to work sooner or later.
You leaned your head back on the wall, bringing your knees even closer to your chest as you sat down on the floor. A small sigh of relief escaped your lips. Chuuya had been the one to find you. There was something odd in the way he looked down at you.
Chuuya, one of the most proud Port Mafia members, possibly the only member who respected the organisation for some reason. He wasn't freaked out, angry... he didn't pity you. It was as if he understood. He didn't have to ask or push the door of Mori's room open to understand what you had done -even though the blood on your hands and clothes was making it obvious.
"Come." He removed his gloves and after placing them on his shoulders, he helped you stand up. That was when you noticed Akutagawa standing behind him, waiting for his orders. "Inform Koyou." was all Chuuya told him and led you towards the elevator.
"What?" Akutagawa's voice came out trembling as if he didn't believe how someone who had just killed the Port Mafia's boss was walking away without any consequencies. But the young man didn't question his superior's orders further. Maybe because he had known you since he first arrived at the Port Mafia with you being the closest thing he had to a doctor after patching up any wounds inflicted by Dazai.
"I did it for Q and Koyou and that Detective Agency doctor and for Oda and Kyoka and Osamu and me." Your voice was barely above a whisper as you reached the underground parking lot where Chuuya had his car.
"I know." Chuuya handed you a handkerchief but you refused, your eyes focused on your bloodied clothes.
Other than that the car ride was silent. And when Chuuya stopped the car in front of the building you had almost entered many times in the past four years all you did was look at him. "Won't you come with me?"
Chuuya chuckled, shaking his head. "No, I have to clean the mess you left behind."
"If someone can become the new boss then please..." If your hands weren't covered in blood you would have hugged him. "Please take the position, and give Aku a better place as well."
Chuuya only smiled and opened the door for you. "I assume we will see each other again."
You took the elevator to the floor where the office of the Detective Agency was. Before you could do it yourself, the door of the office opened, a boy with blonde hair and a straw hat standing behind it with a smile on his face.
"Chuuya told us you will be coming."
"Did he now?" You let out a chuckle. It was slightly forced and very ironic considering that you were covered in the blood of one if not the most important man in Yokohama.
"Yosano!" The boy shouted and made way for you to enter the office.
You had heard of the doctor. You knew her ability and you knew her past. Mori didn't really keep his achievements private when he wanted to terrify his opponent.
Yosano was leaning against the door of her examine room, a sorrowful expression on her face. "I killed Mori Ougai." You mumbled.
"It must have been awful" A ginger haired boy said. Yosano approached you, ready to examine you fully.
"It was... yet it felt... powerful." You muttered, no sign of emotion in your voice. "The blood is not mine." You looked down.
"I will bring you a new change of clothes then so you can meet the president" She patted your back and opened the door of her examine room to lead you inside. You heard it close behind you and let out a heavy sigh.
"Long time no see."
The voice was familiar and soft like velvet with perhaps a hint of a small smile.
"That is all you have to say?"
Dazai's eyes were blooshot red and it didn't take much thinking to understand that he had been crying before you walked in there. He let out a sad laugh and nodded.
You took a small step and sat beside him on the bed that was meant for patients. He turned to look at you before taking your hand in his as if he hadn't left you without notice four years ago.
"My hands are covered in blood." You managed to say, fighting tears.
"So are mine, let me take half the blame."

Ranking reveal please ! "5 most compatible with the oc of your choosing amongst khr cast' ✨️ ( — romantic ! or not! it is up to you.) maybe, with explanations? hehe
taking a little break from preparing the answers with the Entity (who was very pleased with them and is trying her best to articulate her answers because she hasn't spoken to people in a while) to do this because I have been hunted for sport when it comes to KW pairings/compatibilities-
These will be for Myr and Lidija, if anyone's curious to see this done with Anemone and Tristam let me know! The post would be too long with all 4 of them I feel qwq'
DISCLAIMER: Myr and Lidija are adults, so every non-familial pairing here listed is assumed to take place in a scenario where both individuals are adults.
Tumblr media
-- [Myr] --
Yamamoto Takeshi (romantic) - Myr is naturally more attracted to people with a positive attitude, and Takeshi adds to it with his laid-back personality. They would work well together, whether it's a relationship or a mission. Takeshi's understanding personality would be a good "counter" to Myr's more sharp and aggressive one, though he'd probably draw the line the moment Myr puts herself in danger while trying to prove a point or strike down the enemy. She'd berate him for it, but deep down Myr needs someone to take care of her.
Adelheid Suzuki (platonic) - one could argue that Adelheid's tendencies to discipline could be a dealbreaker for Myr, but that would mean she wouldn't be friends with Anemone either. Adelheid will fuck you up if it means following her beliefs, and Myr would respect that. I feel like they could bond thanks to their abrasive personalities, Adelheid would have fun trying to get Myr to dress properly and Myr would have fun teasing her and making her angry on purpose.
Uni (familial/admiration) - a young but strong-willed leader who isn't her brother and who's in DIRE NEED of a big sister ? Sign Myr right up! Myr would immediately recognize that Uni is not exactly a normal girl and that her strength comes from within, not to mention her kindness and the way she maintains her child-like behavior even with the burden of her responsibilities. Myr would love to act as a big sister to her and with enough time she'd make a loyal subordinate and close friend.
Superbi Squalo (admiration/romantic) - to the surprise of absolutely nobody, yeah. Squalo is pride incarnate, he has a title, he's feared, and most of all, independent. That's exactly the person Myr would like to become deep down, at the cost of proving right all those who already consider her to be a monster. He's the living proof that being ruthless gets you what you want, and while she tries to push those violent thoughts away for the sake of Lidija and her newfound friends, he'd be like a "Stop Being Nice, Go Apeshit" switch. After all, if she was as strong as him, she could take back all that was taken from her by her family.
Lancia (romantic) - ok so canon gives out exactly 0 info about Lancia other than "he's actually Not the Bad Guy", but. As mentioned Myr tends to associate herself with strong people because she likes the challenge, but here we have a man trying to salvage what's left of his life because he was too strong and got manipulated because of it. It would be a great wake-up call for Myr, because she too is subjected to prejudice because of her past (in her case, her lineage) and Lancia would be the one to tell her that revenge and hate are not roads to follow.
Tumblr media
-- [Lidija] --
Chrome Dokuro (romantic/platonic) - Lidija is a natural caretaker, and would immediately understand that Chrome is delicate. She needs time, it's a trial-and-error process with her. But just like she did with Myr, when she's dedicated to making a person smile, she doesn't give up that easily. I feel like Chrome would learn to see that Lidija is a safe place, but whether that would develop into something romantic is something I myself don't know if it could happen. I feel like Chrome's sense of relationships is a little warped seeing everything she's gone through.
Tsunayoshi Sawada (platonic) - discovering that the most rumored family in the Cavalieri halls is run by such a genuine and brave person would absolutely make Lidija Tsuna's number 1 fan. I don't have much on these two, Lidija's extroverted manners would probably make Tsuna feel a little embarrassed (think a bit of Haru's effect), but overall she'd be a loyal subordinate.
Lussuria (platonic) - they would be such a POWER DUO. Lidija could even learn a thing or two about sass. Since I HC Luss to be both an ex-stylist and an ex-architect, they'd have such long and interesting talks about a variety of topics. And of course, Lidija could absolutely act as a model for their fashion experiments! Overall I think Luss would act as an "enabler" for the more flamboyant part of her extroverted personality.
Dino Cavallone (romantic) - YEAH HE'S HERE TOO LXD FANS REJOICE I've always been a supporter of her and Dino myself because he has the looks of the typical prince charming and the goofness of, well... Dino Cavallone. What else to add? He's gentle, devoted, honorable, and would have a hard time saying no when she asks for him to gift her something expensive. As a treat.
Irie Shoichi (romantic) - he'd be like a plush toy Lidija can sport around. His soft but dedicated personality would really complement hers, and he'd probably trigger her more protective side with all his stress symptoms. Plus, she'd make the cutest assistant!

so i think a lot of the really, REALLY bad takes in AtLA fandom are frequently driven by shipping discourse, not because a given ship is necessarily bad (since, ultimately, that's more about the context of the relationship and how it is written), but because the worst takes are often motivated by certain assumptions about a character that are the result of closed circle ideas about a character circulating until they replace actual canon for that character, and the biggest example of it all is Zuko.
In my experience, the absolute WORST takes on Zuko in particular come from a fundamental misunderstanding of his character; most frequently, that he is a mature person, and specifically more mature than Aang or the other members of Team Avatar.
I think a lot of that comes from his superficial characteristics; he's pragmatic, often relatively ruthless, has a fairly dark backstory and has become embittered and angry as a result of his personal experiences. A lot of these traits are part and parcel of archetypes that the most prevalent fandom misinterpretations identify with Zuko; the dark and edgy bad boy, the brooding antihero, and a LOT of shipping archetypes. Zuko's explosive temper, tendencies to resort to violence and his ruthlessness are all common elements of characters that are usually depicted as inherently more mature, experienced and smarter than more optimistic characters, such as Aang. So this is where you get a lot of fandom based on the assumption that Zuko is mature while Aang is inexperienced and naive.
The problem is Avatar's writing VERY STRONGLY points to precisely the opposite conclusion; that Zuko's temper, ruthless 'do whatever it takes to get the job done' perspective and so on are signs of LACK of wisdom.
The antagonists of the series (Zuko in early season 1, Zhao, Azula, Ozai, General Fong and others) are heavily characterized by their overwhelming pride, ruthlessness and either a willingness to do terrible things to achieve their goals, and extremely often a key part of this is their pride, and explosive outrage at that pride being besmirched. This isn't universal (Fong and Long Feng aren't as outwardly prideful in this specific way) but from Azula almost blowing up for having a hair out of place, Zuko constantly screaming at the slightest percieved offense in Book 1, and Ozai consistently being depicted as murderously arrogant and defensive about his ego to the point of coming off as an absurdly violent man-child, it comes up a LOT in Fire Nation antagonists and across the series in general.
In contrast, the character who are consistently depicted as wise or outright STATED to be wise don't care that much about looking silly or ridiculous. Aang and Iroh are the most explicit examples, but we see it in the Air Nomad elders (whom don't seem particularly put off by having pies catapaulted at them) and Monk Gyatso, as well as the members of the White Lotus (plus or minus Pakku, but at least he grows out of it, notably before he properly settles into his role as the master to both Aang and Katara in combat Waterbending), as well as Kanna.
They take hits or get humiliated or embarrassed, and they barely blink. They go with the flow, and don't blow up over their dignity (again, Pakku notably being portrayed as a wise master AFTER he ceases his defensiveness). As such, while Zuko can feel a lot like the sort of characters that are usually depicted as experienced and hardened by harsh experiences, he instead overwhelmingly has those same traits show him to be immature; all in all, I think that one of the biggest mistakes is believing that Zuko is generally correct in a lot of situations, or at the very least seeing these characteristics mark him as a Mature Cool Guy, rather than someone who has a LOT of maturity to get.
One key part of this is the Southern Raiders; while Zuko is often characterized in fandom as being explciitly correct in his initial belief that Katara needed to get revenge to find closure, Zuko himself winds up admitting at the end of the episode that Aang was explicitly and indisputably correct; regardless of whether or not a given person might feel differently, that IS the intended narrative takeaway, and it also goes to show that even by the end of the series, Zuko's most definitely not the mature person that some people in fandom assume he is; the very same traits that get people to think he's mature are, in the context of the show, indicators of his LACK of maturity and wisdom.

Orbeetle Facts
(I have one named Joker and the entire time I was writing this, he was floating around and trying to type on it. I just felt the need to share this)
Tumblr media
(Art by isoptin on Deviantart)
-The genus name for the Orbeetle line is "Coccinella Praedica" which roughly translates to "Scarlet Prediction"
-Because of their appearance, with their eyes being all swirls, their antenna looking like angry eyebrows, markings resembling a mustache, etc, they're often Pokemon chosen to be the smart villains in a lot of comics and movies
-Unlike most other flying (not flying type; just bugs thst fly) Bug Pokemon, Orbeetle's elytra don't protect any wings. They instead use it to protect their brain. The elytra evolved to be small buds from lack of use
-Orbeetle are related to the Ledyba line, with both of them having a common ancestor
-Orbeetle's name comes from Orb and Beetle, which would make Orbeetle sound like orbital, referencing the way it moves around (similar to a satellite)
-Because of their gigantimax form, there are theories saying that Orbeetle came from space. These theories are not true, and I can not express enough how misinformed this theory is
-Orbeetle have a very violent mating ritual. I won't go into detail, but it involves biting, scratching, stabbing, dragging, etc. They also have a very violent way of protecting their eggs, and I'll link the post talking about it at the end
-Orbeetle have been known to have hypnotize other pokemon and make them their 'minions' that would do anything they ask of them
Tumblr media
-Because of their intense psychic abilities, Orbeetle are able to sense things with their antenna 15x more likely than the average bug pokemon
-Due to their intelligence, it is actually possible to teach an orbeetle how to read and solve math problems! There was an instance in 2015 Galar where an Orbeetle learned how to solve long division
-Orbeetle are known to be very violent Pokemon in general. We can easily understand where this came from; they're often bullied, picked on, and hunted by larger Pokemon, and the only thing they have going for them is their wits. But when they evolve, they have both the strength and intelligence to get revenge. They end up being really violent and vengeful as Orbeetle
-Going from the fact above, it can be very hard to befriend an Orbeetle if they weren't caught as a Blipbug or Dottler. In the wild, you'll often see Orbeetle have Pokemon close to them that were with them when they were still a Blipbug
-Because of their absolutely massive brain, they aren't able to stand up without using their psychic powers
-Orbeetle are violent hunters, and mostly ear smaller and weaker bug types (never Blipbug though. They tend to leave them alone). But there were some cases where they have taken down Scolipede
-Despite not being from space, Orbeetle actually do surprisingly well there
Tumblr media
(Art by artsy-rc on Danbooru)
-There eyes have a hypnotic effect on them, which will swirl when hypnotizing someone
-Female Orbeetle have larger abdomens than male Orbeetle
-In the rare instances when Ledian and Orbeetle interacted, Orbeetle were shown to be passive and even quite friendly with them. This was a large shock to researchers, since Orbeetle would usually attack bug pokemon similar to Ledian. The most popular theory they have is that Orbeetle might see themselves in Ledian, with both of them being Coccinellidae pokemon
-In many spiritualities, the number 7 symbolizes intellect, wise, insight, truthfulness, and intuition. I theorize that this came from Orbeetle
-While Blipbug are seen as pests by a lot of farmers, Orbeetle are seen as a good thing for farmers since they eat the Pokemon that would eat their crops
-Orbeetle are not very affectionate with their trainers, but they'll often give gifts to them to show they care

Joker is still hovering, so I decided to let him type something:
"Helo ddhduishejslauwbebfjdbsjsndx"
-Joker (I taught him how to spell "Hello." Be nice. He is still learning)
Anyways, here's the other Orbeetle post

star wars au when Eddie as jedi and Chrisy as sith
Hello dear anon, I absolutely love this idea! Again my apologies for take a lifetime to answer. Considering that both Star Wars and Stranger Things are big fandoms (the latter I’m sure is still growing), I would love a ST au! or a crossover involving Hawkins’ residents living in a galaxy far, far away. Now while my knowledge of SW isn’t as big as it once was, I think it would be neat to have these two in such differing roles. I’ll discuss this as an au! and crossover. I’ll also have pictures and titles included so it doesn’t become too confusing to read.
Eddie Munson
Tumblr media Tumblr media
On Tatooine, Wayne raises Eddie on a the desert planet. They take care of their livestock and sell goods in Mos Eisley just to make ends meet. Eddie is the only one who is force sensitive and even shows Wayne his “cool powers” when he moves things with his mind. Wayne is well aware of the Jedi, but fears what could happen to his nephew if someone finds out. When Eddie is 8 years old, a few of the Jedi visit their booth. Yoda senses great potential in him. As difficult as it is, Wayne encourages Eddie to go with them, noting that he will have a better life out there. They must go their separate ways, and he promises to return to Wayne when the time is right (which he does, Wayne will live in this universe because I say so).
Chrissy Cunningham
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Chrissy lives on the busy planet of Coruscant. She’s force sensitive as well and is also given a wonderful opportunity to train. However her mother (an important, respected, and feared politician) forbids it and does what she can to keep her daughter in line. She believes that the Jedi are barbaric and are no different from the Sith. Whenever Laura spots Chrissy using her telekinesis, she resorts to scolding and hitting her. She denies her food and water as a means of punishment too. After Chrissy turns 6, it becomes difficult for her to control her powers. Further adding onto the stress of having to be the “perfect” daughter for her mother’s reputation. One night Chrissy ends up using the Force as a means to protect herself from another beating. Violently shoving Laura until her back hits the wall. In that moment, Laura knows that cannot control her daughter, so she sends her away to the Jedi Temple, believing that they will straighten her out.
Jedi Temple and the Tale of Henry Creel
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Eddie and Chrissy become friends and as they age, something more blossoms between them. But as the code states, Jedi are never to form relationships with anyone. This becomes a bit more challenging when they are sent off on missions together with a Jedi Master during their time as apprentices. When the two of them are allowed to go on their own, they share tender kisses and hold hands. They get to learn more about each other and they talk about their dreams. Even though it seems impossible, they hope that perhaps one day they can be together, even if it means that they’ll be kicked out of the temple for good.
Their education requires them to study the history of the Jedi and understand the Force as well. In the process, they also learn of a past pupil who had turned to the Dark Side. He was like them once, young, ambitious, and ready to face the enemy. Henry Creel was highly intelligent and very intuitive as well, he studied the archives and the ways of the Jedi. Yet his thirst for knowledge was as boundless as the galaxy. He wanted to learn about the Sith, get a better sense of their ways. When his interest was discovered, he was banned and kicked out of the temple. His anger fueled his powers, resorting to using the Force for his own means. Going as far as to kill anyone that stood in his way when he enacted his revenge.
The masters and knights managed to stop him from committing a horrible massacre and he was arrested. He was able to escape and he soon became an enemy to the Republic and to the Jedi. Henry sought out the likes of Count Dooku and Martin Brenner. They taught him the ways of the Dark Side, utilizing violent methods to train him. Brenner was the lesser of two evils, treating the young man like a son. Dooku highly disagreed with Brenner’s antics, believing that he was being “too soft on the boy.” And so he made sure to really push him to his limit and then some. Henry was always the target of his lightening strikes. Each strike became much more unbearable, disfiguring Creel over time until he became the monster that he was meant to be. When his training was complete, he commanded his own loyal following and committed such unspeakable crimes. He was willing to teach anyone that pledged their allegiance to him and to the Dark Side. However, there was one person in mind that he felt a connection to.
Sith Lord Vecna
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Chrissy couldn’t help but find the tale of Henry to be fascinating, so she wanted to know more about him. Obi-Wan sensed that something was amiss with her, pulling her aside to let her know that she needed to be careful. She reassured him that she was fine, but he could not let this feeling go. This bad feeling felt a little too familiar, he feared of what could happen to her like he feared for his current apprentice Anakin.
One evening when she was meditating alone, she sensed an unfamiliar voice speaking to her, it referred to itself as Vecna. He managed to get into her mind, bringing back awful memories of her past. Planting the seed of doubt and fear within her, letting it fester until she started to let the darkness in. Chrissy felt that she was pushed to her limits during her training and used her hatred to her benefit during her missions. Eddie had to stop her from killing a corrupt politician, having to remind her that the Jedi do not kill. He brings up his worries to the council, all they can do is speak with her and let her off with a warning.
Chrissy despises what Eddie had done, believing that he betrayed her. He tries to reconcile, telling her that he only did it for her. He cares about her, he doesn’t want anything awful to happen. She disregards his feelings and continues to focus on what matters to her. Vecna continues to plague her thoughts, telling her that Eddie will destroy her one day. The two of them are no longer on speaking terms from now on.
A Never-ending Battle
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Some years later during an important mission, Chrissy fully embraces her darker side. The sight of blood and cut up bodies no longer frightens her. She even goes as far as to hurt Eddie, leaving permanent scars across his body during an intense battle. She has the opportunity to end him, but she leaves him for dead thinking he’ll simply die of starvation. The connection between her and Vecna grows when she seeks him out. He takes her as his apprentice, he teaches her everything and more. She becomes the warrior that she was born to be.
Jedi Master Munson and Sith Lord Cunningham cross paths many, many times. Their battles are long, epic, and difficult. Yet they both manage to show equal parts strength, agility, and endurance regardless of whatever planet they’re on. She tells him each time to join her, they can create the world however they choose, and he refuses each and every time. He tells her to leave Vecna, to come back to the light. He promises to do whatever it takes to help her, but in the end she refuses and so their battle continues until they meet again.
A tragic tale of two friends, turned lovers, turned into enemies for life. It begs the question if they could have any sort of romantic connection anymore.

nice! i will say, i have only seen the show so my opinions are based on that
okay so first off, i agree with you that both the usually portrayed versions of Niè Huáisāng aren't accurate. he's not helpless (though he certainly can seem so at points, i.e. when he and Wangxian are trapped in the cave with the stone fairy) but he's not a strategic mastermind either.
Niè Huáisāng, to me, comes off as impulsive and clever. he thinks quick, and in his younger years, he uses that mainly to avoid the things he has no interest in doing (cultivating, using his sabre- can't say i really blame him for that, given what Niè's usually end up succumbing to). in later years, he's surrounded by a bunch of things he never wanted to do (running the sect, being a leader in general, and paperwork), and he's still trying to avoid those things (playing dumber than he is, whining to Jīn Guāngyáo and Lán Xīchén because he knows they'll dote on him).
and i think, at least in part, avenging his brother is more impulsive than anything else and may not have, entirely, been something he wanted to do. the revenge, in the end, exposed a lot of Jīn Guāngyáo's secrets to several people, and i think Niè Huáisāng just kind of hoped one of them would be angry enough to kill Jīn Guāngyáo (or maybe that his brother’s fierce corpse would) and i really think, in that last moment, when he realized he went to all of this trouble and Jīn Guāngyáo wasn't going to die, he panicked and made someone else take care of the problem. but i also think, up until that moment, Niè Huáisāng was on the fence about killing Jīn Guāngyáo.
Niè Huáisāng wasn't shown to be a violent person in the show. he liked to catch birds, paint fans, and collect erotic novels. but, i can't believe he lost all attachment to Jīn Guāngyáo if it took him that long to actually get him killed. Huáisāng, like i said, is impulsive and even the smartest guy in the room (which, i say this with love, he is not) would have snapped, right then and there, and turned it into a fight. but he didn't. he dug into all of Jīn Guāngyáo's secrets and, yeah, he eventually exposed them, but i think part of him was looking for a reason; either a way to excuse or condemn Jīn Guāngyáo, something that would push him to one side of the fence or the other. and the other part of him was stalling and avoiding the problem until he absolutely couldn't.
sorry for the text wall. Niè Huáisāng is my favorite out of the show so i have a lot of feelings about him
oh these thoughts are so delightfully crunchy, and I think I largely agree with them, to a point. I know I mentioned somewhere else recently (at least, I think I mentioned it on tumblr, tho tbh it might've been through a discord conversation) that rather like nmj, jgy spends an awful lot of his time in the story un-murdered for someone whose opponent's intention was always to murder him. for nmj, I think he lives for as long as he does because jgy genuinely does not want to kill him despite multiple attempts on his life and enduring increasing pressure from his father to make it happen--up until nmj punts him down the jinlintai steps and humiliates him/his mother in front of the entire lanling jin sect.
(pausing here just to say: I am so sick and tired of the comments by the antis on this point that jgy did not deserve to seek any kind of retribution or vengeance in the face of this insult. like is it only fine when the gentry resort to violence to satisfy insults to their honour? anyway)
so, yes, I think I vibe with your point wrt nhs and his revenge quest! not only because I also agree that he just could not, and did not want to decide what to do, but because yes, he absolutely did care about jgy! I think those feelings are especially clear in cql given how the drama reshapes the relationship that jgy-as-meng yao has to the qinghe nie. he is nhs's body guard and protector (and, uh, babysitter), and I often think of that glimpse we are given of nhs anxiously pacing outside the throne room while nmj aggressively interrogates freshly-stabbed (to protect!! nmj!!) meng yao after wen chao's assault on the unclean realm:
Tumblr media
this 👆👆👆is not the behaviour of a little guy who is ambivalent or otherwise emotionally uninvested in the outcome of this interrogation. he is fretting! he is worried! and then afterwards when meng yao has been ousted from the nie, huaisang is the one who sweeps up to him to try to support his shoulders. because meng yao is still, you know, freshly stabbed by wen zhuliu in this moment. (you're welcome, da-ge. thanks for the banishment. could he have a bandaid maybe--no? no ok that's fine)
ultimately, tho, even if he waffles and can't make up his mind for over a decade, I do think nhs does want to kill jgy when he finally succeeds in doing it. and maybe he tells himself that he is doing it to avenge nmj, rather than for even more personal reasons (e.g., 'san-ge murdered da-ge, but he betrayed me') but let's be real, we will never know. whatever interiority nhs has, either in the novel or in the drama, remains hidden from the reader/viewer, and all we have to go on is the framing provided to us by the camera lens, and by what wwx shows us in the text.
and in cql, this is that glimpse we get of nhs's face right before he tricks lxc into stabbing jgy:
Tumblr media
(sorry you get my meme, I couldn't find my original screenshot womp womp)
anyway, that's the glower of a little guy who has decided he is definitely gonna do a murder.

There is something inexorably just about Target 3 meeting his demise via being hit by a car. But oh, poor prosecutor. Both the men in this drama have absolutely horror fathers. FWIW, I do hold YS responsible for the incident - if it wasn't for his cold-blooded moment of walking away plus threats, this would have never happened. Do I excuse him? Yes, because he snapped out of it and was going to save the guy - it's just his horrible luck that his brief loss of sanity led to this. His freaking out in the car - yikes.
Tumblr media
The scene does make me want to weep - for YS who looks as if he's damned, and for Prosecutor who breaks utterly.
Tumblr media
Oh my God, Undaddy, I'd curse you but I have run out of adequate words. When he calls YS afterwards to tell him that if he turned to save Target n3, it makes Undaddy hitting Ahjusshi with a car meaningless...I mean, what IS the point of letting YS know that he was set-up and went after the wrong person for revenge who is now dead as a result? What is the point - there is none except to torment YS in the worst possible way by letting him know his 'father' did his best to kill someone he loves to set him up and man whose death he now caused was blameless of what turned YS into a homicidal maniac. The rage I feel on rewatch is just as much as I felt the first time around.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And it gets worse - the scene with Undaddy and YS - when Undaddy tells him the only way to end it is for YS to kill targets personally. ????!!! Honestly, at this point I am just believing he is doing it to torment YS as much as possible as part of his fucked up revenge of making one of his target's unknowing son into his tool because Undaddy - wtf do you need with an unwilling pet assassin - you are more than capable of killing them yourself. I think you are just violent, sadistic control freak who likes torture and killing and control and are wroth YS is trying to shape a life of his own and are getting a kick out of punishing him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
HOLY FUCK HOLY FUCK HOLY FUCK YOON SUNG JUST STABBING HIMSELF THROUGH HIS HAND IN FRONT OF UNDADDY AS SOME SORT OF PSYCHO "I am the closest to an important person to you and since there is nobody else close to you I can hurt to punish you for hurting my loved ones, I will hurt myself." HOLY FUCK THERAPY THERAPY THERAPY NOW. And then he stares at the man, blood dripping from his hand, dagger still embedded in his hand (!!!!!!!) asking 'did it hurt you too? It has to..It has to' with almost a triumph? Oh my GOD. You insanely tough, insanely screwed up darling OH MY GOD. I wonder if it's also YS' way of punishing himself and also seeking for one last drop of Undaddy's humanity. Not to mention, he doesn't value himself as a person at all (why would he, treated as a weapon, a thing not worthy of feelings all his life, someone who believed his mother threw him away, etc. Nana is the first person to give him unconditional love).
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And then he tells Undaddy he will never kill anyone. I love him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The interesting thing is, since this is a rewatch, YS was right about Undaddy here - insofar as that lizard of a man cared for anyone, it was for YS, however abusive that care was. The man kidnapped him and abused him and would happily kill everyone around him and turn him into a tool, but when push came to shove and it was YS' life ending right in front of him or his revenge, he couldn't pick the latter. Too little too late (the image of YS putting a gun to his head lives with me) but perhaps enough to assuage at least some of YS' nightmares.

Hi! I wanted to ask, is there a way to read more about your ocs in hellaverse? I just kinda like other people ocs very much lol
Hey! I'm so sorry this is running so late, Nonny, I meant to reply sooner than this but I tend to get distracted super easily. I've got the ADHD pretty bad and in my past life I was the goldfish that made scientists think they all had five second memories.
At any rate, I have quite a few Hellaverse OCs! A lot of fankids and then quite a few surrounding Ozzie or Valentino. I've been working more with the ones that deal with Val, lately, which are mostly Darío, Ostello, and Anya!
The main OCs I have are Ostello, Anya, Darío, Ozzie's Parents (Abstemiounessa and Valore), Archangel Uriel, Leviathan, Magpie, Vick, and then a few others that I don't do much with. I also have fankids but that may be for another time.
I literally just reworked Ostello's bio and took it from 364 words to 1,101 words and updated a lot of information that had become wrong as I wrote him. Anya recently got upgraded from OC that I didn't really do anything with to OC that I'm using a lot more.
They're all on my RP blog, @e-m-p-error, though a lot of them need a little reworking. For now, I can share Ostello and Anya's info here! I've been working on them most recently. Ostello is Valentino's ex-husband and Anya is his Personal Assistant!
It's under a cut for length. Ostello's info is LONG. All art by me.
Anya
Tumblr media
Human Name: Anya Kazlow
Name In Hell: Anya
Nicknames: Annie Baby, Yaya
Faceclaim: My/Friend’s Art
Original Universe: Mainverse
Age: 30 (When He Died); 37 Years Dead
Birthday: April 30th, 1956 (Taurus)
Deathday: December 5th, 1986
Height: 6'8"
Gender: Cis Female
Pronouns: She/Her
Sexuality: Bisexual Bimantic, Ambigamous
Species: Gorgon Sinner
Snake Color: Red and White
Eye Color: Pale red sclera, bright green irises
Occupation: Valentino’s Personal Assistant
Headcanon Masterlist
When Anya was alive, she worked in a veterinarian’s office that saw a lot of exotic pets owned by bad people. There were all kinds of things that she had to overlook in her line of work, including humans that had bullet wounds or other such injuries. She doubled as a nurse when she had to, and learned how to take care of human and animal injuries alike. Always having been nurturing and gentle, she was well-loved by the Russian mafia in her town in Belarus and ended up getting married to a lower-ranking member after tending to him for one summer.
She was shot on their wedding day when a rival cell infiltrated the wedding and killed as many of the people there as they could. She died holding her lover’s hand, and vowing revenge. This never came to fruition.
Meeting Valentino not long after she fell, Anya was hired on to be his PA after she ended up gentling him through an injury that he obtained in a turf war. She happened to be there at the time, and he decided having a medically minded personal assistant would be a good idea. She sold her soul to him, and being an important member of his team, she was given the golden tooth that Angel Dust and Val both had. She is in love with Valentino, but he only sees her as a friend. She’s mostly okay with this because it’s worth it just to be near him. It is her job to handle most things that Vox doesn’t handle for him. This can be anything from cast lists to work schedules to bartending if he needs someone to cover a shift. If Val needs it done, she’ll do it.
Her snakes are Frog Eating Rat Snakes, and because of this, they have bacteria in their mouths. If she bites you, it is an immediate, violent, and disgusting case of leprosy that can kill in minutes. She has only ever bitten three people, and she usually doesn’t, but she will absolutely do it if it is necessary.
Anya is very nosy and always likes to be up on the latest gossip and whatever juicy things are going on around Val. She will pry into his business while she takes care of him while he’s drunk so she is abreast of the latest drama.

When he was alive, his name was Oscar Lawrence. Oscar was the son of Ruth and Samuel Lawrence, their only child. Marty was his father’s best friend, his right-hand man in the fire department, and his wife’s affair partner. Oscar knew about the affair for approximately a year before his father died on Christmas day when he was ten years old. A year after his father’s death, Marty was his stepfather, and while he never held any express animosity toward him, he never called Marty his father. His mother and Marty had two kids together who were twelve and fourteen years younger than he was, and he was never particularly close to his half-siblings.
At seventeen, he had dropped out of school and gone to work in a club in Omaha. He was discovered singing one of the numbers from a nightly show while cleaning by his boss, who loved his sound and gave him his own attempt at playing a show one Saturday night. For starters, he did a few covers of things that he had heard and ended the night on a song he’d written himself. His lyrics were filled with a longing he became known for, a desire for something he could never have. It became something that was so Oscar Lawrence to long, to pine so genuinely and openly that it was impossible to separate from him. So much of his music was about barely scraping his fingertips against the thing he longed for, and nobody could ever quite get out of him what it was.
When he was twenty, he met Olivia, his wife-to-be. She fell for him, hard and fast, and he never felt much. But it was a suspicious thing for a man his age not to have a wife, and he liked Olivia enough to live with her. Oscar was rarely home, out touring and recording a lot, but at twenty-one their daughter, Gertrude “Gertie” Rose Lawrence was born. He rarely saw her, and when he was home, he was usually sad and drunk. Gertie doesn’t remember much of her dad, but his biggest sin with her was neglect. He never rose his hand against her or her mother, and he was never particularly cruel.
However, he did cheat on his wife. Often while he was on tour, he could sleep with any woman that wanted him in ways he found impossible to do with his wife at home. Like many singers of his time, he also had a stage presence on the silver screen. Much like he found many temporary replacements for his wife, he found a semi-permanent replacement for his daughter as a mentor to Shirley Temple.
If there was something as Oscar Lawrence as pure, unadulterated longing, it was a desire to run from what he did have with that same desperation.
His biggest sin in life was that he was gay in a time when that was very highly frowned upon, and it was a well-kept secret. Nobody knew about it, and he never once acted on it while he was alive.
When he died in 1944, it was a slow, painful, and disorienting death alone in a hospital half a country away from his family. His wife and daughter flew out to see him just in time to say goodbye, and he couldn’t recall who they were. He died of acute liver failure that had progressed under the radar of his manager who had been busy working him through the holidays.
Olivia sued the company for negligence that led to her husband’s death, and she and Gertie continued to never want for anything but the man whom they owed their cushy lives to. Neither could say they knew him before he died, and after they would know him even less.
Oscar sort of expected to fall into Hell, and when he did, he was unsurprised. For a few months, he just tooled around, feeling out his new abilities and appearance as a badger. He discovered early on that he had pyrokinesis and it was something of a novelty for a while.
One night while walking the streets and experimenting with it in the lonely hours of the morning, he gave a fireball too much juice and shot an Overlord on her way back from a big deal. He didn’t expect it, and it led to a huge fight between the two of them in which Ostello accidentally became the victor. It was a hard fight and when her gun was knocked from her hands, he managed to grab it in the ensuing wrestling for it. Unbeknownst to him, it was loaded with holy bullets, and ended in her demise.
Her attendants, who had scattered during the fight, came to him to tell him that he was now in charge of her territory as long as nobody else took it, and he took the responsibility fairly seriously. This didn’t stop him from pursuing a musical career on top of the weapons dealing, of course, but it was somethingi that he did want to do to the best of his ability.
Ostello, as he eventually renamed himself, became a rather beloved fixture of the Pentagram. He was hard to upset and treated his workers with dignity and respect. They were paid well, especially those who gathered holy metals during the Extermination, and he never went so far as to treat any of them cruelly.
He worked with Alastor to produce radio shows and sang live several times for him. When Vox eventually came around, Ostello left Alastor’s employ to work under a label that Vox owned. He performed for him there, with concerts and other such things, until the day he was killed. His music is still fairly popular and played in several Voxtech buildings.
In 1972, he met Valentino, and in two months married the moth. He was a devoted husband who wanted nothing more than to make his wife happy, and he spent the next eight years absolutely enamored by him. However, Valentino had never really been in love with him, and in 1980 used a holy spearhead pilfered from Ostello’s own armory to kill him.
Due to his love for Valentino driving him to be a much, much happier and better person, when he died he was reincarnated in Heaven. He dislikes Heaven very much because he misses Valentino and was reunited with Olivia. He does not know that Gertie is in Hell. He has been watching Valentino in Hell for years and is abreast with the latest things going on in his life at all times.

The Cresswell Family
Jack the Ripper doesn't seem like the type to start a family but he eventually settles down with a woman named Kathline. They end up having two kids: Daniel and Jill.
..........
Kathline Cresswell
Tumblr media Tumblr media
An alternate spelling of the name Katherine which is derived from a Greek word meaning "pure."
Age (at the beginning of the events of BC): 25 (making her three years younger than Jack)
Birthday: September4
Magic Attribute: Steel
Appearance: Kathline has mousy brown hair which is long enough to reach her shoulder blades and somewhat unruly. Around the house, she leaves it loose and ties it up mostly when she works. Her eyes are a deep green color.
Personality: An unassuming woman most of the time. She cares about liking the things she does rather and other people approving of her actions. She's upfront about nearly everything in her life. Assertive nearly to the point of being aggressive, she rarely lets herself be taken advantage of by others. She has a hidden rage that can awaken in her when faced with her worst enemy: plants. Perhaps it was due to growing up near a forest and wildlife repeatedly overgrowing her home throughout childhood. Some chalk it up to her awful hay fever. Or maybe it was because she ate a few poisonous berries by accident and took that as an attack. Either way, Kathline hates plants and people with plant-based attributes with a burning passion. She even sees gardening as plants brainwashing humans into servitude. It's kinda ridiculous how much hate she has for plants. Kathline actually became a vegetarian at a young age to exact revenge against all plant life, killing them and using them as the fuel to drive more of her destruction.
Kathline works as a furniture maker. She constructs the frames and legs and other parts of furniture, usually out of wood. She utilizes her magic to make metal fixtures/fastenings on some of her works.
Kathline and Jack met as teens (Kathline was 16 and Jack was 19). Kathline's house became overgrown with plants, a common occurrence throughout her life, and so Kathline hired a Magic Knight to handle the situation. Jack was the knight to cut away all the plants. Kathline joyfully cheered on Jack's "massacre" of the plants. Jack was happy to hear someone appreciate his work. They saw each other again four years later when Jack ordered new furniture for the Green Mantis' base and Kathline was the one to deliver it. During the interaction, she talked of sadistically taking joy in turning the corpses of trees into tools for humans (like I said before, she's ridiculous). Jack continued ordering furniture from Kathline's workplace to keep seeing her. He found her vitriol amusing and Kathline appreciated Jack's own aggressive way of life. They slowly but surely fell in love. After the elf incident, they began to date. They eventually married. ... Only after Daniel was conceived and Kathline nearly killed Jack to get him to propose.
Kathline adores Daniel and Jill very much, and reminds them to take pride in themselves (which Jill does more successfully than Daniel). She's well known to the Green Mantis, especially to older Knights who seen her visiting since Jack became captain.
Charlotte and William have had the "pleasure" of meeting Kathline and both agree that they'd rather not spend more time with her than necessary. Being invited to Jack and Kathy's wedding gave them chills.
Daniel Cresswell
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Daniel's name means "God is my judge" in Hebrew.
Age: 18
Birthday: April 27
Magic Attribute: Steel.
Appearance: Pitch black hair like his father which he keeps cut short and doesn't even bother trying to style it. His eyes are a deep green color, inherited from his mother.
Personality: Daniel is someone who is absolutely done with the world. As a little kid, he was peaceful and was one of those kids that just walked up to others in hopes of being friends. However, when other kids found out who his dad was, they called him "violent" and "crazy" which bothered Daniel. He tried to ignore them but eventually the bullying got to him and he lashed out. Playing into people's expectations despite not wanting to got to Daniel and he drew into himself. Despite his dislike of being judged, he's judgmental himself and tends to call out people he thinks are rude or dumb. Daniel can keep a level head in small groups; it's crowds make him irritable. Because of how he isolates himself, Daniel is bad with social cues and usually needs Jill's help when talking to people. Daniel is an avid reader as it allows him to escape reality. He's got a good imagination and can come up with scenarios off the top of his head. He usually does it to tell scary stories or what-if scenarios to make people worry. His habit for telling tales has also turned him into a good liar with only ki readers able to tell when he's making things up. Not the type to genuinely poke his nose into people's business, only to make snide remarks but it takes someone else dragging him along to disrupt what a person is doing.
He meets and befriends Saki through a book club. He's friendly with Aecor since Ace is so kind and understanding. They don't get many chances to meet though. He will mock Dawn's spirited nature or Caelum's chivalry but he accepts that they're good people. He understands Dusk and Silver not liking being around people but doesn't like how spineless they act. He's okay with Skylar and Soleil since they make Jill happy but if Skylar even thinks of flirting with Jill, Daniel will throw hands.
Drinks and smokes to pass the time despite finding the flavors of most alcohols and cigarettes offensive.
He refuses to be a Magic Knight on principle. Instead, he pursues a career in metal-working, specifically making figurines and decorative pieces from metal.
He did his own piercings (and it was very painful since he had no clue what he was doing).
He used to not care for literary analysis, more drawn to the way good writing got his imagination flowing and evoked strong emotions. The more he read though, the better he became at picking up writing devices and become deeply invested on theorizing on what happened in books before he finished.
Jill Cresswell
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Her name means "child of the gods" or "youthful."
Age: 15
Birthday: February 7
Magic Attribute: Severing.
Appearance: Jill has mousy brown hair just like her mother. As a little girl, she kept her hair cut short but later decided to grow it out and tends to wear it in messy buns. Her eyes are yellow like her father's.
Personality: Jill is a mischief maker. She likes sneaking salt into people's water or tying doorknobs to stable fixtures so the doors can't be opened or sending letters in fancy envelopes only for the message inside to be insulting (or a spray of magic sneezing powder). The way Jill sees it, the world is naturally boring and she has to make it entertaining with her own two hands. If people are upset with her actions, it's their fault for being uninspired. She’s also daddy’s little girl and will go feral on someone’s ass if need be. Unlike Daniel who didn't want to be compared to his father, Jill wholeheartedly accepts it and challenges anyone who thinks they can shame her for her parentage. Her father is strong and so is Jill, and she's ready to prove it. Also, this girl can't be scared by anything. Jack laughs while Daniel wishes Jill "good luck and don't die" when she goes off to do something dangerous. Jill's big flaw is her desire to always challenge people. She thinks "competing against yourself" is a cop out and prefers getting the chance to outdo others.
Thanks to their shared love of pranking, Jill became friends with Skylar and Soleil. Ann and Raphael are basically Jill's rivals. She enjoys setting them off and seeing them try to stop the chaos she leaves in her wake. Has met most of the other Silva children and while she’s fine with most with a dislike towards Solid’s kids, she downright fears Aimee. That child is freakishly strong for her age and her anti-magic weapons are formidable.
Despite being so close with Jack, Jill ultimately doesn't follow in his footsteps. She tried being a Magic Knight for a few months but decided it wasn't for her. Instead, she becomes a hunter like her grandfather. Her on a hunting job is one of the few scenarios wherein she's calm.
Her favorite rhyme starts with “Jack and Jill went up the hill to beat up the weakling Black Bulls.” She brings it up more once Skylar joins the Black Bulls.
Girl hates her cowlicks. She has no idea why those few clumps of hair refuse to stay close to her scalp. She's considered cutting them but Daniel always stops her because he thinks they're cute.

Rambling about Fairies - Manga Chapter 155
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Both of them aspired to be the strongest. Erza, for revenge. Midnight’s always been alone, so he needed to be stronger so he could protect himself, so he could finally sleep undisturbed without any criticism or abuse.
Erza isn’t violent at heart, Erza wants a peaceful life of just living well, comfortable, and free. Midnight just wants a place to sleep, he could care less about wars and chaos. Despite both of them no longer resembling who they once were-- they’re both in the end, pacifists at heart.
They’ve just gone too far in the path of strength to turn back again, so they have to live with their strength now.
Erza enjoys herself as the strongest because she can protect her family, and honestly, I think becoming the guild master would be the greatest resting point of her character arc. She’ll be able to enjoy her safety and freedom from a place of holding down the fort, just like Master Makarov. She can finally have her quiet peace, and only need to fight when truly necessary instead of constantly being put in the very front to endure the hardest hit first.
As for Midnight, I do hope Crime Sorciere is better handled or fleshed out for anyone other than Jellal, but I like the idea of Midnight on a journey of self-discovery to find out what he truly wants, without Brain’s influence. If he gets any time to truly have a moment of redemption, he can eventually get to a point where he’s actually the spoiled baby brother of the family, and sleep all day because he trusts the other O6 to protect him. It’d just be really sweet to see someone like Angel or Racer ‘excuse you, don’t disturb his sleep??’ and going absolute ham over enemies.
(Also, just noticed: Is Midnight able to sleep through noise and battles because he’s bending sound?)

Hi so follow up to my ask from yesterday. First off I totally agree with you, communication is super key in any kink and assuming that someone would like something just bc you’re in the same kink is honestly a dangerous game no one should play. But in your tag you mentioned there were other issues too. Would you mind sharing them as well?
this is absolutely not a definitive list and not specific to any particular fetish or in any particular order:
-'barely legal' and 'teen' stuff is absolutely rancid for reasons i shouldn't have to explain.
-the unfortunate link between sex work (including online modelling) and human trafficking and sex slavery. a lot of people do sex work because they enjoy it but it's not always the case and we need to be careful with who and where we get content from and make sure everyone is being treated well.
-people appearing in content they didn't consent to be it deep fakes or revenge porn or whatever. this is obviously wrong and people absolutely shouldn't do this.
-the fetishisation of minority groups. the old joke about are you a straight cis white man or a porn category is unfortunately not really a joke tbh and a lot of the category names are pretty problematic. also this kind of content often propagates harmful tropes about the minorites in question.it's not acceptable to reduce an entire subset of people down into a kink!
-most porn is made for men, including a frustrating amount of 'lesbian' porn. this is both really frustrating as a viewer and also a woman that hangs out in online fetish spaces as a huge proportion of men that i encounter online see me as a product to get them off rather than another person. also as someone that wants to get more into content creation, i feel almost pressured to make stuff more broadly targeted in order to capture the male audience.
-the difficulty minorities have in building brands and monetising them in online spaces. i'm not a poc so can't say anything definitive on their behalf but what i have seen from especially black creators is they find monetising their content and brand harder than their peers. (very happy to be corrected on this tho)
-the near total lack of any form of safety/consent talk or disclaimers in any kind of edgeplay-related content. i'd like it in all content tbh but especially with things like cnc and more violent content. safety and consent is an important component of sex and given how absolutely dire sex ed is in most countries people learn a lot from porn and do not get a good education on the actual best practices they need to use.
i'm absolutely not an expert and would welcome actual experts to correct me and lend their opinions on this, but this is a non definitive list of major issues i've seen from my time online.

GET TO KNOW THE MUN
name: Seamus
nickname: Shay
faceclaim: I don't use one atm, but the last one was Bagpuss, and before that Steve from Blues Clues
pronouns: He/him (Chill with they but not for constant use)
height: 5ft5 Short king.
birthday: 20th December
aesthetic: At the moment? Agoraphobic gay wizard. (Leopard print robe.)
last song you listened to: Viðrar Vel Til Loftárása - Sigur ros
favorite muse(s) you've written: Out of past muses: Raum. He was a remake of an OC I made up when I was 13. A guilty by association fallen angel who had been young and couldn't really remember it. He was a weird thing. Yeeted people, stole things constantly, bothered everyone, got really attached to a tank of seamonkeys. Just a fun no brain needed to write character. Current muses: Cyren.
GETTING TO KNOW THE ACCOUNT
what inspired you to take on this muse?
Lockdown and boredom and isolation. This blog specifically, though? Wanted something completely new, I like creating settings and connected narratives. Originally this was like stepping past my long running connected universe and making something new, but now it's sort of part of it.
what are your favorite aspects of your current muse?
I like Cyren’s contradictions. He wants to make things miserable, but he’s drawn/under a compulsion to help and protect. He acts like he doesn’t give a fuck while clinging violently to the people he sees as family.
Issa’s absolute certainty that THEY'RE FINE while everything is coming apart.
Nish’s absolute riotous anger at what’s in his way, zero filter, suffers no fools attitude.
Favorite thing with Aster is how lost he is, how young and floundering, and desperate.
Valentine threw away a life of relative ease and comfort for someone he loved, to prove he can make a difference against a tyrant, without realizing that his focus on revenge and control will twist his aims and desires into something awful. What’s not to love about that?
Tadhg is fluffy baby.
Oriol is like... waiting. He’s waiting for something to make sense enough to him to ditch all the shit he doesn’t care about but has to do. He’s the person who’d kill and be killed for even the chance at more. That Potential yall
Favorite thing wth Wynn is when his like cheeky shit head stuff comes out in an argument or conversation. Cause he’s had to ignore and hide so much of that to get by.
Finch! Oh my god. He’s awful. I love him. Best bit by far is how fucking childish and unaware of other people he is. It both sucks to write and is great, cause it’s like you know what a reasonable mature adult would do. He’s doing the opposite, and you get to watch it go to shit.
Jay. My boy. So fucked up. Favorite aspect by far is that he’s the softest mother fucker. Sweetest little bastard who learnt to be anything but because he had to be.
Felix. Favorite aspect of this fucker? The adaptability. Yeah he’ll always have some of the same attitude, but he can and will play any role and act any way. Chameleon muses are fun.
who is your current fc?
I don’t like writing it in posts cause it makes them show up in tumblr searches! All of that’s on the muse bios
what's your biggest inspiration when it comes to writing?
Genuinely think everything you consume will influence your writing in one way or another, and pinpointing a single inspiration is very difficult. But Wellspring I can give an answer for. The village I live near atm is also a big part of the visual inspiration, and the maypole in the town center that Cyren’s body is buried over was inspired by the village I went to primary school in.
Favorite types of threads?
Any where Big Things are happening. Which is so vague, but it’s the best I can do. I ike big character moments and big plot moments. The inbetween is awesome, but the big is my favorite. The cathartic break down, the first I love you, the survival in a dire situation, the discovery of something about their world or themselves in thread form, for either muse but preferably for both. The Big Things.
