Jason Todd is stealing the tires off of the Batmobile, when a man walks up on him doing it.
The man stares at him, nods, and just says "I'll keep a look out, man, go go go!"
So Jason does, and he gets all four tires with the man's help.
The man introduces himself as Danny Foley, and asks Jason if he wants to go get some burgers.
Danny, meanwhile, has decided that yes. This is the child he will adopt. He just has to convince the kid of that.
Batman has to call in Alfred to bring around his backup vehicle with spare tires, and little Timmy gets some wonderful shots of Batman having to replace his own tires.

Alcohol tips for newbie writers (or non drinkers!):
At bars, people who order “chasers” after their shots are ordering something to wash down the taste of their shot with. This can be juice, soda, more alcohol, or even pickle juice
Hard liquor is generally sold in stores as shots (tiny bottles), fifths, liters, and handles or in ml (50, 100, 200 etc)
Most people can’t finish an entire fifth of hard liquor (vodka, etc) on their own without being very ill
Conversely, many people can finish an entire bottle of wine on their own without being ill
Liquor can be “bottom shelf” or “rail” or “well” -- all synonyms for the cheapest version of alcohol a bartender has. Bars generally keep several “levels” of alcohol stocked
You order a drink with the alcohol first, then the mix -- e.g., a “vodka soda” or a “Tito’s and tonic”
When you “close out a tab”, you pay for all of the drinks you’ve had that night. Either the bartender already has your card (you “opened a tab” earlier) or it was quiet enough that they just kept an eye on you and tallied your bill up at the end
“Doubles” are drinks or shots with double the standard pour of alcohol
In the US, most shots (pours) are 1.5 oz by default.
Mixed drinks (gin and tonic, vodka lemonade, cosmos, etc) are generally made up of 1-2 shots and a mixer
If you don’t specify which type of alcohol you’d like in a mixed drink (vodka cranberry, for example) the bartender will put whatever the “house” liquor is -- and this depends entirely on the establishment. A dive bar will pour rail by default, whereas a nicer tavern might make all vodka cranberries with Tito’s
PLEASE TIP YOUR BARTENDERS THEY WILL REMEMBER YOU I PROMISE

What if a Crown shared the same cultural aspect of using a scarf to hide their face like Tûjo, would there be problems for the Crown hiding their face or no one would care?
There have actually been a few Crowns in the past who originated from Şevan and who have worn full face-covering scarves without issue. The most important part is that their eyes are always visible to indicate their status. There have been portraits made of their faces as well!!
I haven't really gotten into this in detail in the story yet, but I figure I may as well lore dump a bit now to explain how it all works.
The cultural aspect about wearing the body and face-covers (you can't wear one without the other, it's always fully covered or not at all) has to do with a tradition in Şevan regarding magic. They believe that the idle magic in the air differs depending on where you are and who you're with, and has significant influence on a person's internal magic core in turn (this is regardless of whether the person in question is an inner magic type or not). So, when you're at home or with your loved ones, they believe that you are connected to the magic in your home/from your loved ones, and absorb it to make it part of yourself.
When people from Şevan (who adhere to this belief, mind you--not everyone in Şevan does) venture outside of their homes or away from their loved ones, they cover themselves completely in order to ward off external influences and maintain that essence of their home/loved ones to carry it with them; they believe it makes their magic stronger, and also helps them feel less homesick. To what extent/how rigorously someone adheres to this, however, depends per region/subculture and what they define as their home.
Some are very strict, to where they only ever uncover themselves completely in their physical house, and others (like Tûjo) are much more flexible, walking uncovered in their hometowns/places they frequent, and only covering up when they go somewhere new. Similarly, like Tûjo, a person could grow to consider a new place home or find new loved ones they care about, in which case they can decide to uncover themselves as well.
So, in short, no issues for a Crown on that front!

I'm still not over just how many different levels of insane today's lore was
We've got 2/3rds of morning crew, with Pac asking Ramon for his blessing to start dating Fit, plus the new info about the Code Attack the other day
Then we jump to Phil, who was just trying to make an orchard with his kid, when suddenly he's face-to-face with this little Eye Guy who escaped a government facility where he was being tortured for information. Then two big Eye Guys show up and tell Phil that if he doesn't hand the little guy over in two days time, they're going to harm his child. After dealing with that as much as he can, the government comes back and recaptures the little guy, presumably to torture him again. All the time, with the looming presence of an almost all-knowing Creation Deity who's trying to help him heal his damaged mental state, as well as resist the temptation of a greedy undead Monarch from another world.
And then Roier's evil twin brother conspired to switch Roier's brain with a rat and now we have Ratoier
Just saying, today was a D A Y

Ever notice how practically none of the pirates in Black Sails seem to actually care about, you know, stealing good shit from merchant ships in order to get rich?
To Flint, piracy is about revenge. It's about being forced out of society and made a villain. "Everyone is a monster to someone. Since you are so convinced that I am yours, I will be it." etc etc
For Vane piracy means freedom, not being beholden to anyone, living as he chooses. And also no goddamn teacups that's gay.
Jack sees piracy as a way to build a name for himself, it's all about legacy.
In conclusion: Anne Bonny is possibly the only proper pirate around this place for real. (And yes, ok, even for her it is more complicated.)

Writing prompt #8
This time we have Danny as a woman.
We also have Siren AU where Danny is a singer with an incredible voice.
so enter the scene:
one of Bruce's most honored business partners, organized a New Year's Eve party, the whole family was invited, along with many other partners and businessmen.
The party starts without problems, the background music is perfect, neither too loud nor too low, and can be heard throughout the room.
All of the Batkids manage to not fall into their chaotic tendencies and mostly stick together, until the main "act" arrives.
A beautiful woman in a one-piece black dress walks onto the main stage, the musicians prepare for the performance.
without introduction, the woman begins to sing:
While the melody invaded the party, the gaze of (insert member of the bat clan here) could not depart from the beautiful blue eyes of the song, everything would be perfect if it were not because suddenly a group of criminals burst into the party, destroying the magnificent atmosphere created by the melody.
Although as strange as it may seem, the bad guys on duty were not here for the rich and very rich businessmen and their families (jewelry, money) but for the group of musicians and their lead singer.
Everyone from the public, the musicians, the waiters and the singer seemed not to understand the criminals' demands at first, but when they saw that there was no turning back, the group decided to go with them to prevent the guests from being hurt.
As the singer passed by (insert bat here) she pretended to trip and hand him a small device while I thanked him for catching it, winking discreetly, the message is clear.
