the slytherin boys confessing to you on new year’s eve

he waits for the right moment during the party in the slytherin common room. when the clock strikes midnight and the two of you are facing each other, not even taking notice of everyone around you celebrating a new year, he looks down at you and cups your face, pausing for a moment to admire you before kissing you.

➤ draco malfoy

he carries you to your dorm room when the party’s over and you’re barely able to walk straight after all the drinking, helping you get into bed and covering you with the blanket, brushing your hair out of your face and placing a trash can next to your bed. draco sits on the side of your bed, placing a comforting hand on your leg. when he thinks you’re asleep, he confesses to you, unaware that you’re awake and can hear him.

when the crowd in the common room gets overwhelming and the loud music seems to be getting louder every second, lorenzo sneaks you away to his favourite spot in hogwarts, the astronomy tower. the weasley twins have fireworks going off to celebrate and the two of you just sit there and watch as the night sky lights up with different colours. he turns to look at you and you can feel him staring, so you do the same and shift your body so you’re looking at each other. “i’ve liked you since first year. i understand if you don’t feel the same way, but considering it’s a new year, i just needed to tell you. you mean so much to me.” he whispers.

he can feel the jealousy radiating off of him as he’s sitting on one of the leather couches in the common room, watching you and harry potter join the rest of the crowd in dancing. your eyes shift to glance at mattheo behind harry’s shoulder, raising an eyebrow in confusion as he basically death stares at the brunette you’re swaying your hips against. when mattheo looks away, you do the same and bring your attention back to him, not expecting it when the angry slytherin walks up to you and harry. “matty? what—” before you can even finish your sentence, he punches harry right in the jaw and starts a fight with the gryffindor boy. later on, the two of you are in mattheo’s dorm as you clean his hands and the mark on his face from the one hit the other boy was actually able to get in. the party is still going on and although you’re pissed at him for ruining your night, he can’t help but tell you exactly why he started the fight and how much he wants you as you wipe some blood off of his bleeding knuckles.

theo takes a, slightly, calmer approach to his confession. when he sees you, his best friend, dancing with fred weasley, his immediate response is to shut down and distance himself from you for the rest of the night. he drowns his sorrows in cheap alcohol the twins managed to score for the party. eventually, when you realize you haven’t seen him in a bit, you part ways with fred to go find him. when you find him, he’s drinking alone on one of the leather couches in the middle of the room. confronting him, determined to figure out why he’s acting so weird, he drunkenly confesses.

A post about my theory THAT DESTROYS the "plot hole" (the one about the fact that bakugans live on Earth in later seasons). (actually, this theory is not very well developed. As people in Russia say, I "put an owl on the globe")

What is the problem? At the end of the first season, the bakugans explicitly say that they cannot stay on Earth. They are part of Vestroia, and staying on Earth will cause the universes to completely merge, self-destructing in the process. However, in the next seasons, bakugans live on Earth without any problems. Moreover, although in the first season we were always shown that in the normal state of the universe, bakugans on Earth can only exist in the form of spheres - starting from the second season, this is also no longer true. Why does it work like this?

First, let's have a history lesson. As you know, God exists in this anime. And God is Code Eve (then translator and I will get confused with pronouns, accept it. I think God won't be offended). It was Code Eve that created the first two bakugans, and they created Neathia-Gundalia and Vestroia. These universes are home to bakugans, where they exist in their true form without restrictions. But, what is important for us, the Earth does not belong to these universes. Did "our" universe appear by itself or was it created by someone? We don't know. But it is not part of the "family". Let's visualize it.

As you can see from this image, I claim that in the reality of this anime, there are not one, but Two multiverses. The first is "ours", there exists a universe in which Earth is located. The second is a multiverse created by Code Eve, where bakugans live. The multiverses does not intersect. And then the first season happened.

You all watched the first season and you know what happened. Nevertheless, I suppose you think that the universes completely separated in the finale. I have a different opinion. I believe that such a global event as the partial merger of two universes does not go without consequences. I believe that something like this happened:

I must say right away - this is absolutely unscientific, but who cares about it here. And so. I believe that during the separation of the universes, Vestroia essentially "pulled" the Earth with in. And, for this reason, the Earth became part of the "baku-multiverse". So from now on, the same laws apply to the Earth as to the rest of the Universes in this "family".

Why did this happen? The most logical reason seems to me to be Drago's influence. In the final, he gained the power of a Perfect Core, which probably gives him some control over the laws of the universe. I doubt Drago did it intentionally. Most likely, it was just a subconscious desire associated with the sadness of saying goodbye. I also like the option of romantic sympathy between universes, but you probably won't take it seriously.

Another question is, why did the bakugans go home anyway at the end of the first season if there was no need? The simple answer is that they simply did not know that the scenario I had come up with was even possible. So they made the most logical conclusion, and only then in the second season they began to contact the Earth again. A more complicated answer is that it most likely took time to completely move "our" universe. So, until the process was completed, they had to be patient for the sake of safety. But I think both answers are correct. Or something like that.

To sum up, none of this really makes sense. Most likely, somewhere in the anime there were facts refuting this theory. So I prefer to ignore these facts for the sake of peace of mind. I really like this idea that the Earth is now part of a common "family" created by Code Eve, and that's why bakugans live on "our" planet with humans. That sounds very nice.

Those Mitsuba fans who are anti are so funny. Well, in a metaphorical sense, it's not really funny at all.

"Nene should be killed for saying that about breasts" and meanwhile Mitsuba repeatedly yells about porn, whether it's appropriate or not. Mitsuba yells about porn, guys, he knows what it is, he knows the genres of it because he's being specific, he probably watched it because he's a pubescent middle school kid and is interested in that kind of stuff, slightly more than Hanako (comparing the two of them from the beginning of the manga. After the middle of the story, the dirty jokes completely disappeared, you know). Your fav is totally fine with all of this stuff, and you love him so much and love to relate to him, so why not learn from Mitsuba's good traits instead of just taking all the bad from him, lol? Mitsubafans are like one big army of whiny little kids, yes, Mitsuba has that, but he also has a lot of good and interesting qualities that, by the way, don't seem to be in demand. Well, again, this ignoring reasonable things for the sake of delulu. But like... being a fan of a boy who reduces a lot of things in his life to erotic because he's just going through puberty, and hating people who do the same? What do you even take from Mitsuba in that case? It's okay to be curious about this kind of stuff, and what's going on at your home that you're reacting to it so painfully? If Nene's words are cringeworthy, then all she deserves is a calm explanation of why it looks so-so, but not a death threat. Just like living people, and especially living people. But I don't even think it's worth lecturing Nene, Mitsuba, or Hanako about why they should stop all this. It's part of their growing and there's no need to slap their hands and tie them up. And whether you like it or not, your fav is interested in sex, lol. You don't have to focus on it in fan content if you're not interested, but accept the fact that it's a canonical event.

For Sefirah

The Echo granted Sefirah a vision while he slept, not truly unlike a fever dream, one that seemed more real - devastating - than all the rest. One where he could possibly touch and feel everything surrounding him if he so desired; the treated silky oak of the creaking galleon, the ice cold iron of the cannon's framing the hull, he could even taste the salt thick in the ocean air, feel the fresh breeze playing with his hair.

Perhaps 'vision' wasn't quite right. This was different, and chilling to the blood.

Difficult was it to determine just where the night sky ended and the ocean began; the eerie calm of the waves giving rise to the notion of sailing above the clouds within this blackest of nights. And it would be here upon the bow where Sefirah would see him.

Small, and patchy like a juvenile coeurl, it may or may not take a moment or two to recognise this young Miqo'te as his dark knight companion of present day. A glimpse into the past it would seem, not unlike any vision gifted to him the past - inconvenient and convenient all in the same instance. The boy appears afraid, standing there alone in the dark, knuckles white against the fencing while he gazes fearfully into the night. Fearful yet... silent, even as he would suddenly yank his form away from the edge of the ship, and sprint towards Sefirah. The boy does not see him, or course not, and the boy passes through him like a ghost, but as the Viera perhaps shifted his own gaze to follow, the vision would shift.

Sunlight bursts through the clouds, banishing the black of the night as suddenly as the blink of an eye. And stood upon the bridge Sefirah would spy another familiar face; olive skin and ebony hair, the visage of an old Rava acquaintance. He knew the name Khum'a had shared - Captain Zackarai, but not a handle the Veena would recognise-

Fairlie. Fairlie was his name of origin.

Others stood in his company there upon the bridge, moreover very little time to appreciate the sight when the sound of cannon fire rattled through the ship. And if Sefirah was to turn seaward in that moment, he would see the incredible sheen of aqua scales, scaling towards the sun, towering over the instantaneous armada - at a glance to be over fifty war vessels poised to bring ruin to this creature from the depths.

Leviathan.

The scaled limb swept downwards then, crashing back into the waves, and destroying two distant ships, breaking them apart like little more than flimsy toys. The screams of the injured and dying, of the brave and terrified filled the air, along with the distinctive fanfare of the cannon's, and bellows of the crew, the steady beat of a drum to prepare for war. A sudden bustle of activity only to be brought to absolute silence, the kind where one could hear a pin drop when the great Primal's head reared and emitted a piercing warcry of its own.

Those next moments came in a maddening rush, a blur of splintering wood, raging hell fire, smoke choking the air out of ones lungs and sharp ice-cold water as the creature plunged to the depths, creating a maelstrom and dragging the fleet down into the water. Hulls and bows collided as ships crashed together, bursting on impact like blisters on the skin, bodies falling into the deep, smashing against the rails, being crushed beneath the weight of the weapons used to defend themselves against this impossible foe as the entire world upon the vessels lilted, sending everything and everyone spilling down into this dark vortex where only death waited.

Sefirah would not see Khum'a again, seemingly older this time than before, until the invasion of the Sahagin began, slaughtering all that stood in the way, spears through the hearts, tearing limbs, devouring the guts and innards spilt onto the bow, dragging the sailors and scullery maids who survived the initial onslaught overboard as offerings to their god.

It was here that the vision switched again, allowing Sefirah to see through the eyes of the Miqo'te who would somehow survive the savagery of Leviathan and his worshippers. Hands held desperately to his mother, and he cried for her, desperate pleas to let her live, as she too was caught in the riptide of this sacrificial ritual and pulled from him, destined to drown like all the rest.

The Roegadyn who held him about his waist was all that prevented the young Keeper from meeting the same fate, and spoke fateful words then, of which Sefirah was hearing now for the very first time.

"Hydaelyn has plans for you, boy! Live and see them through!" the Sea Wolf all but screamed into Khum'a's distraught face before throwing the smaller boy over the opposite end of the ship and into the sea.

It was all over in an instant.

The waters calmed and the battle was over. Not a sound to be heard save for the clunking of battered planks still adrift on the surface stained with the blood of the fleet who gave their lives to the whim of a Primal. And there, atop the shattered remains of a ship's hull, Khum'a lay cradled upon the chest of the dark Viera.

The boy was crying, but the captain was cold to the touch.
