When your Pregnant for the first time
I went and closed voting early, since it was obvious who was going to win
Anyway, the length of these stories are not biased, just different require more details!!

Chan: (241 Words)
You knew for about a week before you told Chan,
and it wasn’t like you were trying to keep it a secret, but he was always coming home late, at the studio.
The pregnancy had been planned, a while ago, but the results had been negative, so Chan wasn’t expecting much out of this one either, and just tried not to think about it too much.
“Where are you going?” You ask one night as Chan was sliding on his shoes. “Oh I just need to go down to the studio to get some things done..” he said. “Well when will you be back?” Hoping it was only an hour or so.
“Ehh, I’m not sure, don’t feel like you have to wait for me..” When Chan was vague like that, you knew it meant he wasn’t going to be home, until the early hours. So you stood, up and grabbed his jacket taking it off.
“It’s Friday night, and I need to talk to you..” You said planning to be straight forward with this. “Is it important, I just-..” Chan started to ask, but instead of giving him a look to prove your point you said. “It’s your call whether our children our important or not”
Chan stared at you for a good few seconds, before blinking and saying “Oh my gosh..we are, you are pregnant?” You nod, and Chan gives you soft hug, and kisses you.
“Thank you…”

Minho: (461)
Minho runs a small business with his parents, but they make very good money, that they are almost considered and company and will be moving into a bigger building in the next few weeks.
With that Minho has been really busy, and you’ve also been his plus one to all these events. At one of these events Minho and his dad were butting heads as usual, while Minho’s mom had found her way to the alcohol table.
This is how the nights normally go, you opinion is constantly asked for, and you always having to chose between you in-law and husband. But this was anything from a normal night.
Everything started off normal, when one of the investors came over to you, he was the owner of a modeling company. “Are you the famous Mrs. Lee?” He asked.
You nod, as the man offers his hand for a dance, this was normal for strangers to ballroom danced, and you didn’t mind nor did Minho.
Normally these strangers were nicer about the way they were dancing, but he was just odd, swiftly swaying, and grabbing you hip making you a bit uncomfortable. “Your as beautiful as they say..” the man says.
Not knowing how to respond, you just thank him. After a while, you stop dancing, feeling sick, and dizzy, you stumble to the bathroom, you weren’t sure if that man had done anything to you.
You sat there for a while, the place had some pregnancy tests, and you weren’t thinking straight from the one glass of light champagne you had.
Jokingly you took, since the test was going to expire. To your shock it came out positive, you tried a newer one and then a 3rd one. All positive.
Now you were just freaking out, you had a glass of champagne earlier that night. You got up instantly washing up and ran out of there, you approached Minho who was still butting head with his father.
You grab his arm and say “Minho, we need to leave” you say panicked not wanting to say to much in front of his parents. “What sweetheart I’m in the middle of something.”
Minho you said again, it was the tears in your eyes, that made him snap out of his trance, and take you to the car. “Where do you need to go?” He asked as he was getting in the drivers seat.
“Hospital”
After getting checked out the doctors confirmed everything was healthy and that you just couldn’t drink anymore. You went out in the waiting room, to see a tired Minho,
“Are you okay?” He asked standing. Grabbing his hands you put them in your stomach. “We are perfectly fine.”
Minho had the biggest smile on his face all the way home.

Changbin: (271)
Changbin and you had been looking into starting a family since marriage, but being mature adults you decided you were going to wait until later in your marriage, so you had time and money.
It was only the second year of you marriage, and you and Changbin were sitting in the bathroom waiting for the pregnancy test to get your results in. The silence had been deadly, not even a fly had buzzed.
You had been getting sick lately, and you also missed your period. Changbin and yours relationship had barely any secrets, and that’s how you kept it. As Changbin was sitting on the edge of the bathtub he says, “Please understand dear, I don’t mind if your pregnant, I really don’t, so please don’t think that I don’t want this, because I do..”
Changbin’s words were comforting “Thank you Bunny..” you say. 5 minutes had taken what felt like 5 years, when finally the timer beeped. You and Changbin make eye contact. “I want you to check it..” you say looking at Changbin with a slight smile.
After checking a million times if you were sure, Changbin removed the test from the cup. You close yours eyes not being able to look at his reaction. You feel one arm hug around you waist. “Open your eyes..” he says calmingly.
You open your eyes, to see the pregnancy test saying “Pregnant” you let out a sound of relief and disbelief. “We are..going to be parents” You say, tears building in your eyes as you hug Changbin.
He kisses the side of your head and says “We sure are Mama…”

Hyunjin: (308)
“I told you he wasn’t the right man for you” Your dad says. “Appa! We’re not divorcing, we just need time to figure it out!” You say back.
“And don’t say that Yu-Kai! You love Hyunjin as if he was your own son!” Your mom says, and she holds your hand. “Are you going to even tell us what you two fought about?” She asks again.
You and Hyunjin had fought about your future, and Hyunjin told you he wanted kids just not yet. It was a stupid argument, and you would’ve have figured it out yourselves if you didn’t find you were pregnant.
You were scared of what Hyunjin would say about you, how he would react.  You just sigh not wanting to explain to your mom.
“It was silly stuff, I’m just afraid to return to him..because I’m pregnant..” You confess. Both your parents eyes widen, “Honey you have to go back..” you father says.
“I know but..” you say before your mom cuts you off “No, Y/N you can’t do this alone, and Hyunjin needs to know! We’ll take you home now!”
Just as your parents were about to get up, the door bell rang, your answered the door, and there stood Hyunjin. He instantly hugs you, not to tightly. “I’m sorry..I shouldn’t have said what I did..” he says.
You look at him with tears in your eyes “I assume you saw the test..” Hyunjin nods. “If I had known I wouldn’t have said, even though I shouldn’t have said at all, because I didn’t mean it at all!”
Your dramatic Hyunjin was back in your arms, and how bad you missed, you just kissed him. He kissed you back.
Breaking the kiss he says “Are we going to be parents?”
You just nod as the two of you kiss again.

Jisung: (460)
It was Jisung who told you were pregnant, but it was in a dream he told you, it had felt so weird. You wake up at 8AM, and you face your husband, who’s snoring with his puffed cheeks.
Remembering the dream, you feel dazed, and when you stand up you wobble a bit. After you get changed, Jisung will be shifting in his bed. He sat up and noticed you weren’t sitting next to him.
“Baby?” He says, looking around and he made eye contact with you. “Why are you up so early on a Friday?” He whines, making grabby arms for you to come back to bed. “I have to go to work, Ji-young had to cancel her shift, she has an ultrasound..”
Jisung pouts a little “I should just get you pregnant so you can stay home all day” you blush a little “Stupid squirrel, I own the cafe, anyway, see you later you pabo” you say kissing his lips.
You went through the day like normal, but you couldn’t stop thinking about the dream. You tie your hair back as you help customers come.
A wealthy customer came in, he smelled like leather, and cologne, the smells were really getting to you. You had to excuse yourself to go throw up in the bathroom.
On your drive home, you stop by the pharmacy to pick up some nausea medication. All that was left was maternal nausea relief. You sigh, and start to leave, when you pass the pregnancy test. ‘It’s just a coincidence’ you told yourself.
You almost were out the door, when you looked at the hospital sign that was across the street. “Are you pregnant?” It asked. You were over the signs the world was giving, and you turned right around, and bought three pregnancy tests.
You get home, and see Jisung laying on the couch asleep. You go to the bathroom and set up the pregnancy tests, all you did was have to wait 10 minutes.
You go to the kitchen, to see that Jisung left you his fortune cookie from lunch, you smiled, and you opened it. “A new life will be here for you to take of”
Your eyes widened, as Jisung came behind you. “Hi cutie!” He says, nuzzling into your neck. You just turn around “I think I am pregnant!” You say, sounding distressed.
Jisung’s eyes widen, “That was random, have you taken a test?” You nod “There are three in the bathroom right now..”
As you wait you explain all the signs you got today, and Jisung listens, then the alarm goes off. The two of you went to the bathroom.
After seeing all three tests positive, Jisung’s chuckles, holding you. “Well now you have to stay home with me!”

Felix: (331)
Felix had been preparing his dance class for their first on stage performance, in Paris France, and he has been there for about a week, and was performing tomorrow and coming back the next night. You had been anxious, because while he was gone you found out you were pregnant.
You and Felix wanted to experience every step together so when you found out by yourself, you felt so guilty, you feel even worse because you have yet to even tell him.
This wasn’t something you texted him though, so you had to wait till he came home.
You kept stressing about Felix’s safety, worried he wouldn’t make it back, and that you would have to raise your children on your own.
You were known to over think, and Felix was your sanity, but he wasn’t here, so you had to keep yourself preoccupied with tasks.
When the door opened the night of Felix’s return, you were so grateful for his return. You rush to the the door, and give your husband a hug.
“Hi sunflower!” Felix chuckled, clearly happy to be back with you. “Hi sunshine!” You say in return. You tried to sound normal, but this is Felix we are talking about of course he noticed.
“What is wrong, you seem off-?” He asked, you just look at him, unsure on how to tell me. “I made a mistake..” is all you say.
“That’s okay, we are all human, they happen!” Felix says smiling, you sigh, “No Felix, I feel bad about it..”
“Well let’s talk about it, and I can hopefully make you feel better!” Felix says, comforting. “I took a pregnancy test without you, I wasn’t thinking and-!” You say panicking, Felix puts his hand on your shoulder.
“Sunflower it’s okay..all that matters is the result..” Felix says, his eyes overflowing with curiosity. “Positive..” you say.
Felix smiles and says “I will be with you for the rest of the steps, I promise..”

Seungmin: (428)
Bomi is your dog that you got with Seungmin when you were dating. She is a retired medical dog. While you and Seungmin were ready for kids, you just couldn’t seem to get pregnant.
You always get upset when you have every negative test. This time when you took the test, Seungmin was away at the store, you were hoping to surprise him.
Instead you just cried in the bathroom, Bomi had found you, and knew that her Mama was hurting, so she came over and laid on your lap. Only a few minutes later, Bomi was sniffing your stomach.
You giggled a little and said “I’m sorry Bomi, Mama can’t give you a little sibling..” Bomi just whined sitting up, and did a little paw motion.
That’s when it clicked in your head, Bomi was sensing something, you were terrified, because you knew Bomi mainly sensed cancer.
You grabbed your purse, and looked at Bomi, “Watch the house okay?” You walked out and drove yourself to the ER. After they ran a few tests and stuff, as you were waiting in the room, you saw that Seungmin was almost home.
“Mrs.Kim?” The nurse says, you look up, and she hands you a folder. “Congratulations..” is all she says as she walks away. You were a bit confused.
As you open the you open the folder you gasped in shock, tears filling your eyes. It was sonogram, of a little baby, at the top it said “Kim Y/N, 8 weeks”. You were shocked.
You had been taking pregnancy tests for so long, all of them being negative, your dog was able to tell you were pregnant.
You drive home, and you see Seungmin’s car, as you enter the house, Bomi rushes in between your legs her tail wagging. Seungmin looks up, “I thought you might’ve gone a walk to the park, I’m shock you didn’t take Bomi.”
Seungmin grabs your waist, “I saw the test in the bathroom, maybe it was wrong, have you try taking another?” Seungmin asks. You chuckled a little, “I actually went to the ER, Bomi was doing her little trick that she used as a medical dog”
Seungmin went pale, clearly thinking the same thing you had thought. “Is it cancer?” He asked, you shake your head and handed the folder.
Seungmin opened it and his eyes sparkled. “Bomi knew before you?” He asked and he nodded. Seungmin petted the dog “Bomi you smart girl!” He says happy.
As he goes to your level, he kisses you, “8 weeks pregnant..wow..”

Jeongin: (401)
Jeongin had gotten home late from work, so when you woke up at 4AM, you tried you best not to wake him up, but you fell to the ground, about to throw up, you would rather him hold your hair, then clean up the floor.
“Jeongin-!” You gagged, but luckily he was a light sleeper, so he was by your side quickly, you just pointed at the toilet, and he got you there and held your hair, just in time for you to throw up.
He stayed by you whispering comforting words. “It’s okay” “It will be over soon”, and after 5 minutes of not getting sick, you turn and sit against the sink. “I’m sorry I know your probably tired..” You say guilt fills your heart.
Jeongin picks up your hand and kisses it. “Your my wifey, I said in sickness and in health for a reason..” Jeongin says acting cute, which cheers you up, “But do you think that you might be pregnant, I mean..we got drunk a few weeks ago..”
You remember the moment and nod a little. “Maybe..if I am, how does that effect us?” You asked, Jeongin stands up and grabs a pregnancy test. “We become parents, like we’ve wanted too, we weren’t trying to get pregnant right now, but if it’s going to happen, it might as well happen now”
You take the test, 2 just to be sure, and you two sit on the bathroom floor talking. “Yoon is going  to tease me about this forever..” Jeongin says. “He just jealous of his older brother” you said nudging his side.
Jeongin lays his head on your shoulder, the alarm goes off, and Jeongin groans. You start to get up, but Jeongin beats you to it. You join him, still dizzy, you pull out the first test, and it shows the a positive result. Your eyes widen and the two of you look at each other.
When you pulled out the second one, you closed your eyes, it seems Jeongin had to because he said “What does it say?” “I don’t know I closed my eyes?!” You say back.
You both open yours eyes looking at the the test. Positive, Jeongin let out a squeal that made you jump. Jeongin picked you up and spun you around in you bathroom, and the he kissed you.
“I’m sorry, I- I just, I am really excited to be a dad!” He said with the brightest smile on his face.

PART 2
1990
The way back home was tiring to say the least. You and Ben had a weekend shopping schedule. It wasn’t the best idea John had for a funny Saturday, but you could tell he enjoyed being at the mall. He was six already, full of energy, joy, and eager to discover the wonders of the world.
From the passenger seat you moved slightly just to check on your son. He was already snoring in the back seat, drooling and sleeping peacefully as if it was his own bed. The sight of him just made you smile.
“He had a great time, huh?” Ben asked, giving you a side glance. He got better at driving after you gave birth, which you were so thankful for.
“Yeah, I mean, he’d definitely pick a baseball game instead but this is good for him,” you said back. “He’s been at home too much, don’t you think?”
“Hey, it's school break! Do you really love your kid?” Ben teased with a playful smile, you rolled your eyes.
“Shut up. All I mean is that I’d just like him to have friends and talk to other kids, do the normal kindergarten stuff… That’s all.”
Ben nodded more for himself. There have been a couple of weeks already, and he was more than happy to spend time with the little brat, but he got your point. You didn’t want him to be alone and the teacher at kindergarten had told both of you John was having some trouble with making friends and socializing in general. He was shy, but smart and creative, but even the teacher had some issues when talking to him at first. John wasn’t like that at home and it hurted you just a bit.
“Probably we should call Janine and some of the parents that were there in the last parent conference, you still have their numbers. We can do something for our kids to meet outside school,” you suggested.
“I think those moms were hitting on me,” your husband said, taking a last turn on the highway before heading home. He chuckled as low as he could when you patted his arm. You got pretty jealous at the last meeting when those ladies approached him, almost swooning. Even John’s teacher looked like she’d faint anytime. “What? I’m Soldier Boy anyway.”
“You’re an idiot.”
He parked the car outside your house after an hour of driving. There were some cons of living in the outskirts of the city, but as long as his family got the calm and green life around, driving for so long was not a problem.
You took John between your arms, careful of not waking him up. He weighed more and more each year, reminding you he wasn’t a baby anymore. He was taller, a good talker at least with you and Ben, he liked seeing the squirrels in the trees that surrounded the house, and he was very, very smart.
It felt like a day ago you gave birth to him, that he started babbling nonsense, and mere seconds that he started walking little baby steps… Now, his eyes were bright blue, his hair long and blonde, his cheeks sprinkled with freckles just like his dad…
Most of his factions were just like Ben’s mother, and she was beautiful from the old pictures he’d show you before. You were happy John was like an exact copy of her, you knew how much Ben loved her and how much her death hurted for him. John was like a reincarnation of her spirit, now sleeping in your arms.
Ben started to take out the grocery bags and some other stuff you had gotten yourself from the city, most of them puzzles, board games, and teddies John picked back there. As much as you tried to get him to reason to not buy unnecessary things, he would just spoil John a lot. But you understood why he did it. He was nothing like his father, he had time to learn how to be a better man, how to manage his own feelings and slowly, teach John to be a good man, even at his young age. You felt so proud of him, watching him discharge the bags on the kitchen counter with John clinging to you, deep in slumber, his little arms now wrapped around your neck to not let go.
When finished, Ben looked at you with a soft look on his eyes. You, holding his son, was a picture he’d never grown tired of. He would hit himself to confirm it wasn’t just a beautiful dream; it was real. You and John were very real, and he was thankful for giving up the superhero shit already. This could never compare to anything Vought offered to him before; what he built in there with you was everything he ever needed.
“I’m gonna take him to his room,” you mumbled, but before you could walk up the stairs, Ben approached you.
“I’ll do,” he announced in an equally low voice.
“You sure? I don’t want him to wake up-”
“John sleeps like a trunk, trust me,” Ben said, taking the kid softly away from your arms. John immediately wrapped his arms around his dad’s neck, hiding his face on the crook of his neck. He was so exhausted after the trip.
“Right,” you nodded. “Thanks, I love you.”
Ben gave you a charming smile, one that you never could grow tired of. He leaned down to kiss your lips softly, his new and trimmed beard tickling your skin a little.
“I’ll be here in a couple of minutes to help you,” he said.
You watched him disappear on the stairs to the second floor, John deeply sleeping in his strong arms, hugging each other.
Weekend trips like this were monotonous sometimes, but it was okay because you always came back home with your boys after all.

Grief makes us do unspeakable things. It sharpens our claws, and protects us against things that may happen in the future. It forces us to be reserved, makes us shut up.
But sometimes grief makes us explode.
Makes us yearn for the love that hasn't been granted to us.
"You're not allowed to talk to him." the police guard scoffs.
Alicent weakens. Her first child tied in cuffs, never allowed to live life as a free man again. "I'm sorry," she mouthed - staring deep into Aegon's eyes. His lips pressed into a thin line, entirely unsure if the descent into madness was caused by his parents.
He cannot blame them, even if it was.
He walks away.
Tumblr media
So you're leaving in the morning, on the early train.
The music in your airpods blasted. Harwin continued loading your luggage into the trunk. He doesn't know when he'll see you again.
I could say everything's alright. I could pretend and say goodbye.
"We'll keep in touch." you promised, wrapping him in a warm embrace. Daemon's hand found the small of your waist. "I'll call you everyday." Harwin made the same promise.
Basically his full-sister at this point.
"- I'll miss you." Harwin pressed a kiss on your forehead.
Daemon opens the car door for you. It was the beginning of your life. A life that you fought hard to have again.
I won't stop loving you.
Tumblr media
I'll always be here by your side. I'll never want you to say goodbye.
Aemond smiled, hearing the radio play your favorite song. He wonders if you're better now - living the life that he took for so long. "So Mr. Aemond Targaryen, is it your first time in therapy?" the older woman adjusted her glasses.
"Yes." he answered with a smile.

It's been five years since you disappeared off the face of the earth. You can still remember the day that you left. It was a Sunday.
May 7, 2023.
You moved to Switzerland with Daemon, enjoying the snow and the scenery around you. He started teaching in an international school. You postponed your law degree, instead you focused on running a daycare and healing from your scars.
You were lucky to welcome your first child.
Daenerys.
After Switzerland, you moved to Australia.
The warm sand was kissing your barefoot. The beach was beautiful in the morning, you liked the way the sun stung your skin. "Let's go for a swim," Daemon pleads, "I don't want to get stung by jellyfishes, love." you whined, but he continues pulling you in the water.
The water was warm, though slightly colder than the sand. A sigh escaped your mouth feeling the seaweed wrap around your feet. It was another day in paradise. "They won't bite, I promise." he pressed a kiss on your lips.
He was enjoying this life.
"It's not my problem if I get bitten anyways." you wrap your arms around his body, using him as a floater. He chuckles, remembering the time he had to haul you to the hospital because of a snake bite.
It was a garden snake, not the venomous kind.
"I'm sorry for that," he laughed, walking until the water reached your shoulders. The seaweed was ticking your thighs. "I'm glad that everything happened the way it did. I got justice for my mom's death. I got you. I got Daenerys." you whispered.
"I love you, Dae." you confessed.
"I love you too," he hummed, pressing a kiss to your forehead.

"I'm sorry that it took a while. We had a lot of things going on." you exchanged a knowing look with Daemon.
Harwin takes a closer look at the little boy. "Jesus, he looks exactly like you." he observed. "- don't let Daemon hear that." you placed a finger to your lips, continuing to rock the little boy to sleep.
"The car is ready." Daemon says, opening the door for you.
Harwin sits in the passenger seat, while you and Daenerys are in the backseat. "Is she strapped properly?" Daemon does his final rounds of safety inspection. "We're ready to go, dad." you confirmed.

"Dany, be careful. Vissy has soft bones." you dutifully reminded. In the span of five years the children in the family grew.
Rhaenyra and Harwin had Aegon, Viserys and Visenya.
"I don't know how you take care of these many kids. Daenerys just by herself is a handful." you chuckled, admiring the way Rhaenyra raised her children with tenderness and affection. "Harwin decided to have an early retirement, so we're with the kids 24/7." she humbled.
6 children. 1 teenager, and 1 adult child.
She's a legend.
"Has Jaehaerys and Jaehaera ever asked about their father?" you inquired, wondering if you should help shoulder the boulder of raising Aegon's kids. "I legally adopted them, as far as they're concerned Harwin and I are their parents." Rhaenyra confirmed.
Aegon was a strange creature. He always had that blank look in his eyes. He'd always joke about the most deranged topics, but when his children entered the room - his eyes would light up. He was a horrible person, but you think that he's a good father.
To some extent.
"Enough of that, I'm so excited for your wedding." Rhaenyra placed a hand on your forearm. Your eyes light up at the thought. "I already picked out a few bridesmaid dresses. I just need y'all to choose." you announced. "- I think they're in my room." you remembered.
Rhaenyra motioned for the maids to grab the gowns.
"Let's have a fashion show!" you smiled.

the rainy night
Swapped with bestie last night. It was a chilly, rainy night. A great night for sex and cuddles in a warm bed. That is exactly what I got. Bestie and I went out for dinner before swapping houses (and dads) for the night. I was expected and bestie's mom made sure she was naked on her knees awaiting my arrival. Her car was parked outside so I could pull right into their garage. Oh the perks of being me. Why should I get all wet anyway? I let her kiss my shoes and anklet as always before leaving her to go find her husband. We hungout for a bit on the couch where he rubbed my thigh, we kkissed, and he left me up a bit while we talked and got waited on by his wife. When she was not in use we used her as a foot rest.
When it was time to head upstairs for our fun we went straight to their room. I wanted to be in the big bed. I wanted to mess it up completely. We accomplished that. Bestie's mom was mainly used as a fluffer and for cleanup purposes. We even madeout a bit while her husband was fucking me in their bed. When he was finished she sucked him clean and he disappeared back downstairs while she licked all his warm cum off my tits. I made her hold his cum in her mouth and show me before pulling her in for a deep passionate kiss.
For the next little while it was just her and I. I took her with a strapon. Alternating between pinching her nipples, slapping her tits and face as I pounded away at her cuckquean pussy. I fucked her to multiple orgasms. Loud orgasms at that. When I could fuck her anymore I just collapsed on top of her panting, sweating. She was also panting, sweating, and thanking me for all I have done for her, and them. Shes never experienced anything like this ever and wishes we would have started this earlier. We decided to go take a nice warm shower together. It was nice since the air felt so damp and cold outside. It was sensual and we took out time with each other. I teased her hard about things. I am good a dirty talk. We madeout some more while I played with her pussy. When I withdrew my finger she sucked it clean before we hopped out and I let her dry me head to toe before I let her dry herself. I was all dry and warm, she soaking wet, as I lifted both my arms and ordered her to kiss them. She knew what I meant. She knew I wanted her to kiss my armpits. She kissed them like a good girl. Not just a quick peck. But like she was kissing a lover. I felt I needed to reassert my dominance and I think that did very well. Once I had enough I left the bathroom letting her dry herself. I put some comfy pjs on and joined her husband on the couch for a bit.
Of course we went for round two before going to bed for the night. This time he pulled out and blew all over her face. She was not allowed to clean, instead just had to rub it in and let it dry. She also begged for more orgasms to which I made her beg hard. She was still denied. I made her sleep at out feet across the bed. The only blankets she had was the one her husband and I were using so she was by our feet. Her head was on my side of the bed so as I had her worship my feet for a bit as her husband and I cuddled and watched some porn on their tv before falling asleep in sexual bliss.

AITA for ditching my friends because they tried to surprise me for my birthday?
So I (F19) have really, really bad anxiety I'm trying to overcome. I've been on a couple different medications (still trying to find the right one) and working with a therapist, but it's still really bad. Like, one time I couldn't leave the house to go grocery shopping for over a week, because the thought of being in public sent me into panic attacks. So a friend tried to help me by ordering me a pizza and said I just needed to sign his name for it when it got there, and that sent me into another panic attack because 1) Now I needed to wait for this pizza, 2) I needed to open the door and talk to a stranger, 3) I needed to sign a guy's name when I'm obviously a girl so they're gonna KNOW I'm not the one who ordered the pizza and what if they take me to jail?? Yeah, it's totally irrational I know. And I hate it. I'm TRYING to work through it, but it's hard.
A few days ago it was my birthday and 3 of my best friends (all 19) took me out to eat at a restaurant. Before we went they joked in our group texts about getting them to bring me a cake and sing happy birthday, and I told them if they do that it will undoubtedly send me into a panic attack and I will never forgive them. Full stop, do not do that to me. And they agreed. But halfway through our dinner I hear the clapping and singing, and here come a bunch of waiters carrying a cake and singing Happy Birthday. I'm freaking out but think surely this is just a fluke, they're going to another table and not to ours. My friends wouldn't do that to me. But no, they come straight up to our table and put the cake down. I get up and run out of the restaurant before they're even done singing.
I end up going back to my car and sitting there shaking and crying for I don't know how long. Eventually someone knocks on my window and it's one of my friends asking me to come back inside so they can talk to me, I say I don't want to see them right now and drive away. Instead of going home I go to my mom's house and tell her what happened and she tells me to stay as long as I need, so I turn off my phone and hide in my childhood bedroom and try to get some sleep.
I woke up the next morning to a bunch of missed calls and texts from my friends. Apparently they didn't think I'd freak out that bad (even though I told them I would) and said technically the cake wasn't for me. They lied to our waiter while I was in the bathroom and said it was one of their birthdays, not mine. So that way they could "cheat the system" and still get me a free cake and someone else would get the singing, not me. I said it doesn't matter if the singing was for me or not, I had told them if that exact situation happened it would freak me out and they did it anyway, and they did it behind my back without telling me. Like, of course I would assume the singing was for me? It was my birthday and not any of theirs and they didn't tell me about their scheme? They said I just overreacted, and it's normal for friends to surprise friends on their birthday. Did I overreact?
What are these acronyms?

Our Violent Delights Will Not Have Violent Ends: The Twilight Saga Rewrite (Book 1, Twilight) | Part 1.
Summary: Y/N Swan is just like every other girl and she likes it that way. Normal is fantastic. Normal creates a functioning member of society. Normal is the reason she moved to a small town to live with her police officer father... only to find out that she gets the farthest thing from what she wanted. \\ This is a re-write of Twilight. Basically if I had been Stephenie Meyer and wrote Twilight. I will be combining some of the movie and book and the pace will be more like the movies. Not terribly high word count like the books. We might equal one book's word count when we finish doing all four of them. Hope you enjoy!
Warnings for the Series: light violence, light angst, light smut
Warnings for the Chapter: none
Pairing: Edward Cullen x reader, Jacob Black x reader
Word Count: 3.5k
Author's Note: If there are "I" written anywhere in the story, please let me know. I'm posting this story on Wattpad in the I form so I might forget to erase one or two here. Enjoy being casted in the feature role of Bella Swan. Let's go:
Tumblr media
A police car pulled up in front of you as you waited outside Seattle-Tacoma International. To think, only four months ago you were trying to purchase plane tickets for spring break. Only you wanted to go to New York with the rest of your classmates. The last place you were ever thinking of was Washington. The state, not even D.C.
And more importantly not Forks, Washington. But you promised your mom that you could handle this. The only thing worse than that small town for the entire year was traveling so much you might as well be homeschooled. When your mom remarried her now husband, Phil, he played baseball for the Phoenix team.
Phil’s good but he wasn’t good enough to be traded around. You thought your whole life would be Arizona. Until Florida called. And your sweet stepfather and lovingly erratic mother packed up everything before suddenly remembering you had school. So moving to Forks had been a you decision but you're not sure how good of a decision that was.
The car in front of you rolled down its window until you could see your dad. Charlie flashed a smile that you struggled to return. He’s great. You've spent every single summer with him and almost every one of those summers was in Forks.
But two months is a lot different from the entire school year. You knew only a few people that would be going to Forks High School. A pang hit your heart when you thought about your friends again. You guys promised to call but you'd probably fall out of each other’s lives anyway. But you tried to smile once more, putting your suitcases in the back of the police car and pulling on a thick wool sweater over your shirt and overalls.
As soon as you slid into the passenger seat, it started to rain — a stark reminder that this wasn’t Phoenix.
You could feel Charlie’s head keep turning to the side to look at you. Like your dad in more ways than one, the start to small talk was awkward for you. The two of you went back and forth in a silent dance until Charlie saved you from speaking about the weather.
“Your hair has gotten longer.”
You grabbed a piece of your now shoulder length hair. Two years ago, in the spur of the moment, you had shaved your head to start over. It was the moment after that you decided you would never do that again. Charlie had to suffer the period of you not being able to look at yourself in the mirror. You looked like an egg. It took dedication but your hair was now long and damage free.
“Yeah, I’ve tried to stop using heat completely. Except the blow dryer.”
While starting small talk might have been difficult, once Charlie and you were talking no one could get you to stop. The conversation was still going as the car passed the ‘Welcome to Forks’ sign that should have read population: too damn small instead of an actual number — and even when we got out of the car and into the house. Your room wasn’t terribly different from other summers but you noticed drawers and wardrobes that weren’t there before. You guessed when one permanently moves they suddenly need storage for their things. Charlie even cleared more bathroom space.
That was probably the one thing you hated about this house. One bathroom. Someone should have slapped the architect that ever suggested this… and then slap the builder that followed through anyway.
You only unpacked the bare essentials for the next week or so. The rest could be slowly unpacked as time went on. Charlie helped for a few hours before doing his shuffle he does whenever he’s uncomfortable. All he could say was okay before leaving the room.
Even though you two can talk for hours, he’s still awkward to his core. You supposed that you should be happy as a teenager that he doesn’t hover. He never has. You used to think it was because being a cop made him busy all the time and he just developed the habit. As the years went on, it became more apparent that it was just his personality.
A car honk right outside the window caught your attention. You looked through the glass to see an orange pickup truck and some of the only two faces in town that were familiar to you. Your feet carried you out the door before you were even aware until you crashed right into a boy with hair longer than yours, roughly your height, and only a few months younger in age.
“Woah, Y/N/N, slow down before you hurt yourself. You know you can't be trusted on your own two feet. I'm surprised you're still standing right now or is it just because I'm holding you up.” Jacob said as he gave you a smile.
“Whatever, dick."
"Whoa, Y/F/N. Language when you're standing right in front of me," Dad interjected but he didn't look that offended.
"Sorry... Hi, Billy.”
“Hi, Y/N. Glad you’re back and here to stay. Charlie wouldn’t shut up about it since you told him.”
Your dad rolled his eyes. “Keep talking and I’ll roll that wheelchair right into the middle of the road.”
“Not before I ram you in the ankles.”
You and Jacob’s dads abandoned you to play fight in the road. You couldn’t help but chuckle at the sight.
“I’m glad to see they’re still behaving like that.”
“Oh, yeah. Days go by and nothing’s different. It's getting worse with old age actually, I'm convinced that's why Mom is always on business trips… So, do you like your present?”
You turned to face Jacob. “Hmm?”
He patted the truck just as your dads came back. Your eyes went wide and your lips twitched until they formed a large smile.
“Are you serious? This is perfect! Dad, you didn’t have to get me a car.”
Charlie shrugged. “I work late sometimes and thought that your personal autonomy was very important.”
He’s trying to sound like a parent that actually read the child psychology books. The why he bought me a car didn’t matter. It was the fact that he just did. A truck didn’t exactly fit my aesthetic but something about vintage ones totally did.
"Don't worry, I worked on it myself. Everything's perfect," Jacob said.
"You did this? By yourself now? Jake, what the heck. That's crazy you're doing it on your own now. Why are you so amazing?"
Before anyone could actually answer you, you whipped open the door and sat inside. You remembered this truck very well from playing in it since you and Jake were four. Billy had this thing for at least seventeen years. The first thing you noticed were the new leather seats. They were pink instead of gray. The second thing you noticed was the engine’s sound. Smoother than it had ever sounded before.
Jacob opened the passenger door, hopping in to show you how the car operated. He was a genius at fixing cars and trucks. You wouldn’t be surprised if he owned his own mechanic shop some day.
“And that’s it.” He patted the steering wheel. “If anything breaks, let me know.”
“Thank you! God, I’m so glad I have one recognizable face at school.”
“You’ve only been missed two summers. Did you already forget I don’t go to Forks?”
“Right.”
Jake, like most of the Quileute kids, went to a high school on the reservation in La Push. People weren’t as judgmental when they all shared something common. There they could wear their hair long, tell folklore stories without getting made fun of, or try speaking little words here and there of Quileute so the language doesn’t die with their great grandparents.
All things you would have loved to be part of or just sit on the sidelines and observe. Maybe you should have complained to Charlie until you went there. Now you couldn’t leech off of Jacob and had to actually make friends on your own. Disgusting.
Your sentiments didn’t change as you got in the truck and headed to school. You were assigned a parking space the moment you transferred. Unlucky you, you were stuck in the front parking lot.
So much for leaving to go get a better lunch than whatever grub they were going to serve at the cafeteria. Charlie worked too much to even think about asking him to get you something. And you couldn’t ask him to cook either. He’s not really shit at it. It's just his taste buds suck. So unless you wanted to text him a specific lunch menu each Sunday, it was Russian Roulette of lunch. That was too much work. Charlie thinks salami and grapes belong on the same piece of Nutella and butter toast.
When you finally found the parking space, after three circles around, you turned off the engine and found a bunch of eyes greeting you. Lots of them. That’s what being the new kid in a small town gets a person. The eyes stopped staring once you got out of your truck — they needed a face to match the name Bella Swan.
“Nice ride,” a black boy in a red hoodie said as he nodded at your car.
“Thanks, just got it.”
“Cool.”
You didn’t exchange any other words before you entered the building. You stared at the paper schedule, trying to memorize classrooms and the stupid tiny map in the corner. An arm suddenly tapped your shoulder.
“You’re Y/F/N Swan, right? Our new girl.”
You turned to your right to see an Asian boy with a black polo shirt and the most emo haircut you've seen in a while. You took a double take at his outfit and then at the outfits of your peers around you. Suddenly, you were feeling terribly overdressed.
Your thrifted Burberry monogram poncho doubled as a blanket that you would inevitably need because it sat on top of a long sleeved black mini dress. Was it impractical for January in Washington? Probably. But fashion made everything work. At least you had worn snow boots.
“Yeah. It’s just Y/N by the way.”
“Just Y/N. Got it. Well, hi, I’m Eric and your eyes and ears of this place. Anything happens and I know about it. If you need a tour guide, shoulder to cry on, or lunch date then I’m your man.”
Eric made conversation naturally, no small talk in sight. Kind of like Jacob. You chuckled. “I’ll take a rain check on the lunch date but I do need to find room 33C.”
“Let me lead the way.”
He started to lead you down the hallway and to a set of stairs. “So, why move to Forks?”
“I’m not a baseball girl.”
Eric snapped his fingers. “Perfect tagline for your spread. I’m the editor-in-chief of the paper and you are front page news.”
“Oh… Just the front page right? I mean I don’t mind the paper but more than two pages and I’ll transfer.”
“Got it. Spread killed, feature only. And here’s your stop.”
“Thank you so much.”
“I’ll be back for whatever other classes you need to find.”
True to his word, Eric came back and led you to all my morning classes, including the dreaded P.E. You didn’t hate exercise. You just hated whatever wasn’t pilates or a Jane Fonda workout. Besides, you were never good at P.E. anyway. The testament to that was the gym teacher thinking you should do the volleyball exercises with some of the other girls.
You flinched as the ball came towards you. It didn’t go back over the net. Instead, it hit my calculus desk partner, Mike Newton, in the back of the head.
“Sorry!” you yelled as you sped away to hide in the locker room until lunch period.
Mike seemed to forget about it when lunch came. He talked your ear off all the way into the cafeteria. You had forgotten that a small town wouldn’t be like Phoenix. Everyone wanted to talk to the new kid. Whether they were friends or not was yet to be determined. But Mike was a gentleman. He pulled out your seat for you.
“Thank you.”
“My pleasure, Madame.”
Eric laughed. “Mikey, glad you met my girl Y/N.”
“Oh, your girl?”
“Excuse me, my girl. We even bonded over cars,” The black boy from earlier rubbed your hair in fake affection before pulling the chair out from under Mike.
“You’re so dead, Tyler!” he yelled as they ran after him.
The two girls at your table gave a mix of a laugh and a scoff. A girl with a chunky pink headband slid over a juice carton from her tray.
“Sorry about that. It’s like kindergarten all over again, isn’t it? You’re the shiny new toy. Hi, I’m Jessica by the way.”
“Oh, almost forgot,” the other girl with glasses picks up a camera. “Smile!”
The flash blinded me for a moment. “Woah.”
“Sorry, I need some candids for the spread.”
“The spread is dead, Angela,” Eric said in an oddly defensive tone. “Don’t bring it up again… I got your back, babe.”
You couldn’t help the laugh that escaped from your throat. Eric left, leaving you, Jessica, and Angela at the table. Angela set her camera down.
“Great, now what am I supposed to do about filling up the rest of the newspaper? I can’t do another editorial on teen drinking. It’d be the third time.”
“You could always run a psa on eating disorders,” you tried to offer an option. “Or um… padding on the swim team?”
The other girls looked at you and for a moment you thought you said something completely wrong but they began laughing. You caught bits of the conversation as you focused on my food: some of the guys bragging about their sizes that seemed totally fake, speedos fitting improperly, and wondering if they only pad for school pictures.
Going back to the conversation, a glimpse at the window caught your eye before you could speak. Five people walked like this school was a runway.
“Who are they?” you asked.
Jessica dropped her fork on her tray, ready to tell you everything. “The Cullens. Dr. and Mrs. Cullen’s foster kids.”
The names were ones you couldn't remember hearing while visiting over the summers. They were either new kids or never came around La Push. One thing you couldn’t deny was that they were all attractive. And the shorter girl had wicked fashion sense. She strutted by like the rest of them in her thin and flowy white maxi skirt with a chunky black sweater and heels entirely too high for you to ever try wearing. You felt almost entranced just looking at them.
“They’re all like together,” Jessica continued. “Rosalie, the blonde one, yeah she’s with the big one, Emmett. Like a thing.”
“Jess, they’re not actually related,” Angela quickly interjected.
“Yeah I know, but it’s still kinda weird that they live together, don’t you think? Anyway, the small dark-haired girl Alice is with Jasper. He’s the one that always looks like he’s in pain. The two blondes are actually siblings, Mrs. Cullen’s niece and nephew or something like that.”
“Dr. Cullen’s like this foster dad matchmaker.”
“Maybe, he’ll adopt me,” Angela said.
You chuckled. If Dr. Cullen was such a matchmaker then you’d have to tell Charlie goodbye.
“What about him?” you motioned to the last guy left. He walked ahead of his foster siblings like he was the leader or something.
“Edward? Totally hot, supposedly single. No one here seems good enough for him. Don’t waste your time. Like I care, just don’t waste your time.”
“Trust me, wasn’t planning on it.”
You knew that Jessica could have a skewed perspective. Maybe something happened between the two of them but Angela seemed to agree with her. This Edward probably was nothing but bad news and trouble.
You dared myself to look at their table again. Your eyes squinted when you saw their trays. Nothing looked touched. When you looked up, all five of them were staring at you. You whipped your head around and didn’t dare look back again until after lunch.
Thankfully, the classes you had right after lunch didn’t have any of them… until bio class. The teacher, Mr. Donoghue motioned for you to sit at the only empty seat that happened to be next to Edward. You nodded and began moving to the chair. A chill ran down you spine and you shivered as the chill pierced your back. Edward stiffened up at the same time.
You scowled as he held his hand over his mouth and nose. You had taken a shower, put on nice perfume, lotioned, and wore nice jewelry. There was absolutely no way you smelled. His hand stayed over the lower part of his face the entire class period. Even when he had to hand over material, he pushed them to you with a pencil. The moment the bell rang, Edward was gone. Good riddance.
Mr. Donoghue signed the last spot in my slip saying you made it to class successfully and now you could give it to the receptionist. You paused in the doorway after seeing someone’s back but it was too late. The receptionist had seen you.
“Just a moment, dear.”
The person with the back turned around to reveal a troubled face. He grabbed his coat. “Never mind, I’ll just have to endure it.”
You rolled your eyes, handed in you slip and went to your truck. Edward was a total douche. Yet you couldn’t shake the feeling that we’d be seeing each other more often than you’d like. Probably more often than he’d like as well.
Charlie wasn’t finished working when school was over but had enough time for a dinner break. His friend, Waylan, brought takeout from Subway. You didn’t remember Waylan very well. He left for most of the summer each year to visit his kids and grandkids that left Washington. You all moved stuff around on Charlie’s desk to clear space so you could eat. You had a Spicy Italian sub while the two of them ate BLTs. The two of them shared a different sentiment about the Cullens when you asked them.
Unlike the kids at school, they had nothing but praise. The Cullens weren’t weird but mature and well-rounded teenagers. And Dr. Cullen was the best surgeon they’ve had… and he stayed past one year which is an accomplishment. Certain jobs like doctors and lawyers always come from out of town. Most leave after one or two years, not able to handle the slow pace of this green and gray town.
Soon, Charlie and Waylan talked in the most stereotypical old man fashion that you had actually checked out of the conversation. Your cellphone rang as you grabbed a potato chip from the small bag that came with your sandwich.
“That’s Mom, I’m gonna take this.”
“Tell your mom I said hi, Y/N/N.”
You nodded as you walked away.
~~
The next day at school, Edward wasn’t there. You had planned to confront him and find out what his problem was when he didn’t even know you. You weren't exactly popular back in Phoenix but no one had any issues with you. Never.
However, his siblings were there. Not that you were going to approach them. Your problem was their brother not them and you weren't trying to make enemies in such a small town. You watched them walk into the building as you leaned against your truck. You turned when something hit your back.
“Y/N!”
You laughed as you looked at the Twizzler on the ground. “Seriously, Tyler? How dare you waste good food,” you said as you grabbed your bag and walked over to where the kids you met yesterday were all crowded around what you assumed was Tyler’s van.
He shrugged. “I would hardly call Twizzlers the peak of fine dining.”
We all walked inside at the start of a bell ringing. The day had been pleasant without your science partner. And the next day was the same when he didn’t show up again. And the next day until the entire week had gone by without Edward showing his face.
Your first week of school was lucky. You had missed any torrential rain. But you couldn’t say the same for that Monday. The only thing worse than rain was rain when it was below freezing outside. Your front steps were covered in ice. Your phone rang as you closed the house door.
"Hey, Jake... First week done, somewhat a success. Hey, when is Spring Break for you guys? We should totally start coordinating now if we want to try and leave town."
Despite being careful as you talked, you must have stepped incorrectly because before you knew it, your butt had gone down the last three concrete steps leading away from your door and to your driveway.
“Woah, woah, Y/N/N. Are you okay?” Charlie asked as he helped you up.
“Yeah, just fine, Dad. Ice isn’t exactly helpful to the severely uncoordinated.”
“That’s why I got new tires for you. The old ones were getting pretty bald.”
“Thank you.”
You both high-fived before getting into your respective cars and leaving. It felt like you were already used to the routine of Forks when you pulled into your parking spot and found yourself automatically going to Tyler’s van. You sat with Jessica, Angela, Eric, or Mike whenever you had class and swapped snacks with Tyler in between every morning class because your lockers were right next to each other. And the group always walked to lunch together.
“Salad or Sandwich… Hello? Earth to Y/N?”
You blinked to see Jess snapping her fingers in front of you. “Sorry.”
“We wanted to know what you wanted? The lines are backing up so we’re splitting up and tackling stations.”
“Nice, divide and conquer the cafeteria.”
“The Vikings got nothing on us.”
“As long as the only thing we’re conquering and pillaging are those sandwiches.”
“Absolutely. They might have had great hair but I'm not interested. So, ham and cheese, turkey, or those stupid cucumber ones that no one likes?”
“Hey, I like them!”
Jess laughed and walked to her designated line. Mike and you were in charge of gathering everyone’s desserts and soups. Three wanted brownies and three wanted chocolate chip cookies, four wanted tomato soup and two wanted chicken noodle. You all wanted saltine crackers. Every now and then, you looked over your shoulder at what made you stop in you tracks. Edward was back.
And your biology class was the first class after lunch.

Highscool AU CoD Pt1
1 September 1990
Pt2
SIMON'S POV
"Your son will never be anything proper if he keeps going to that snob school," my father screamed at my mother as usual. It wasn’t like I wanted to go to that damn boarding school anyway; I didn't want to leave Tommy alone with my dad.
"He's got a full ride scholarship. Do you know how much money we're saving?" No costs for food for me, no hockey equipment, nothing; it was all paid for just so I could play hockey at this damn school.
"He's still with all these trust fund brats. These kids grow up with a silver spoon in their lives, he gets messed up and thinks he can study and do other crap."
"Jim, fuck off. Your son is going to be a hockey player, for fuck's sake."
I left the kitchen, walking back to my room, packing the last things I needed before taking the train to Exeter. The uniform mom bought me was two sizes too big. She said I would fit into it soon, but it wouldn't help my case that no one in this school wanted to talk to the scholarship boy. I just wanted to go to a normal school in Manchester, hang out with my mates, watch football with them, and not do hockey. I didn't want to become a professional ice hockey player, but I also didn’t want to disappoint mom, so hockey it is.
----------------------------------------
The train would leave in 10 minutes. My family and I already stood at the rail.
"I'm going to write you, Tommy, and I'll come back most weekends." Tommy clung to my legs, desperate for me not to leave again like last time. I knew dad would probably beat Tommy up again for being so emotional.
"Dad."
"Son."
We only nodded at each other, and then mom hugged me tight, not wanting to let go of me. I walked inside the train, searching for an empty compartment. Hopefully, there was no one from my school on this train. I needed this time to prepare myself for the hell I would endure for the next year.
----------------------------------------
I arrived at Exeter. The bus took me to my home for the next year: Northbridge Academy.
Around the gate stood all sorts of cars. Most students got driven here instead of taking the train like I did. Their cars would make dad fuss again about how posh this place is. Ferraris, Porsches, and Bugattis were the cars of the poorer students. They would probably laugh about Dad's Honda Civic.
My stomach growled. I knew it wouldn’t get food until the evening today in the mess hall. It was like a sort of ritual welcoming the first years, introducing them, mostly telling what their parents did for a living and which sport they would do in this school. I remembered last year when I was introduced: "Simon Riley. Mom's a nurse, and Dad's unemployed. He will join the ice hockey team."
At that point, I knew I would get bullied after hearing all the things about the other students in my year. There was one scholarship boy too, Johnny. I thought we would be friends, but because of him being the goalie of our football team, everyone loved him despite his parents only being farmers. Of course, he befriended Kyle, the most popular guy around. He was filthy rich and posh. The girls all fancied him. He played as a striker, and rumors said that he would, after graduating his A levels, play for Arsenal.
"Sod off, Riley. Go back to where you belong, mud," Tiffany said as she spat on me. Tiffany was the most popular girl, but rather than Kyle, she wasn’t nice. She was mean and hated my guts, always telling me their family worked hard to achieve this place at Northbridge Academy, while I got it gifted. So she made me deserve it in other ways by bullying me with her little girls squad. But who cared?
A giant approached me, giving me a handkerchief and speaking in the most broken English I've ever heard. "Are you okay, little one?"
"Yes, it's okay, mate." He only nodded and went away.
--------------------------------------------------------
I sat back in my class and listened to Ms. Lawson, our class teacher, telling us all about this year's classes.
"Let me introduce you to a new girl in the class. Come on, Ms. König," she smiled at a girl who shyly walked in front of the whole class with a batch of red velvet cookies in her hand.
She is incredibly beautiful, but she is a trust fund baby like everyone else. I could already see it; she wore a Chanel bow wrapped inside her blonde curly hair. She was taller than me by several inches; she was at least 5'3" while I only reached 4'11". But I'll be tall like my Dad someday, hopefully. She was a bit different than the other rich girls, though.
She wasn’t as skinny as them; she was a bit chubby. I never saw the problem in being chubby, but my classmates always made fun of chubby girls. Poor girl won't survive a second in this hell. The teacher told us that her Dad was the founder and CEO of Kortac. I didn’t know what this was, but judging by the way my classmates gasped, she must be filthy rich.
"Hello, I'm Elisabeth. Um, I moved to Cardiff with my brother and my mom. I was born in Vienna, Austria. I do ballet, gymnastics, and I like to bake," she smiled.
"Well, we see that she likes baking," Tiffany whispered to Laurie, both of the girls giggling.
"You should probably be nice to her, Tiff. Mom told me about Kortac," Jilian said, and Tiffany nodded. I didn’t know what Kortac was, but it sounded like something not good.
Elisabeth walked towards the back of the class, sitting at the table next to me. What just happened? She smiled at me, reaching out with her hands towards me. It took two minutes till I grabbed it and shook it. "I'm Simon."
"I'm Elisabeth. Do you want a cookie?" She smiled and almost stuffed the red velvet cookie in my mouth. It was delicious, like an explosion in my mouth. This was so nice from her; she probably didn’t know that it would be her social ruin being friends with me. Slow fantasies about having a friend in this school crept up inside my head. It was unrealistic, but a nice thought; even if she was a girl, better than nothing, right? She was nice, and her cookies were good.
"Thank you for the cookies."
"I'll always feed everyone."
"You should never feed a stray dog," I joked. If she only knew her cookie was the first thing I ate in two days.
"Hm, but I like collecting stray dogs," she laughed. A friend. I had a friend. I couldn’t mess this up.
The girls' squad approached us; they probably would humiliate me, and then she starts to laugh at me.
"König? You should probably reconsider your taste in friends; this mutt here is on a scholarship basis here." God, how I hated Tiffany.
"Oh, I think I'll have great taste in friends. I mean, I'm not friends with you," Elisabeth smiled. She looked so sweet, and now she was protecting me in front of Tiffany. My new friend was a feisty one.
"He is poor, don’t you understand?" Tiffany scoffed, disgusted.
"What do your parents do, Tiffany?" and for a second, I was afraid she is now influenced by the 5'5 tall skinny Louis Vuitton-wearing cunt.
"My father is a plastic surgeon, and my mother is a lawyer," Tiffany chimed proudly, only earning a laugh from Elisabeth.
"This explains why you can only afford Louis Vuitton. So, Tiffany, my Dad is richer four times than your family, so I'm more than rich enough for Simon and me together. So please leave before I punch your smug face." Her eyelashes fluttered, and a mischievous grin spread across her face. While Tiffany walked away furious, earning us the glances of Kyle's squad.
"Sorry about that. I'm normally nicer; I just don’t like bullies."
"Don’t apologize; that was bloody brilliant."
"So, Simon, which sport do you do?"
"Ice hockey."
"Wow, I loved ice skating as a kid."
"Why ballet then and not figure skating?" I asked her, curious. She would make a great figure skater; she walks so elegantly and doesn’t slop.
"School provides only partner figure skating, and I'm a bit too heavy for that," I didn’t want to agree with her; I would probably struggle picking her up. But I couldn’t even carry 25 pounds. Coach told me I need to work on my strength this month, before I could react and try to say something nice, something weird happened.
"Awright, I'm John Mactavish, mah loue," John never associated with me, and now he comes to my table to speak with my new friend.
"I'm sorry, John; my English, I don’t understand you," she looks at him with apologetic puppy eyes.
"Ah, sorry, I'm Scottish, but if you’d like some tutoring, I'd be available, Ellie?"
“Don’t listen to MacTavish; he almost failed English last year,” I remarked snarky. Normally, I tried to down my sarcasm at this school, make myself as small as possible, but alone, her laugh was worth making myself noticeable.
"Shut up, mate, you're destroying my chances with Ellie."
"I hate nicknames," she grumbled.
"We'll see about that, Bonnie."
"Elisabeth, not Bonnie."
Sure, here's the corrected version:
"You're funny, hen," he laughed before walking away.
"Is everyone so intense here?"
"Yes."
"You don’t talk much, do you?"
"Not really."
"So, I think we will have a great friendship," she smiled at me, and maybe this year won't be hell after all.
"How come you can call me 'Si' but don’t allow nicknames?"
"Because I'm pretty and funny, Si," she pointed her tongue at me playfully.
"Pretty, yes, funny, no, Lizzie," she blushed as I called her pretty; the pink on her cheeks looked cute. Wait, what am I thinking?
"Really, Lizzie?"
"Yes, Lizzie."
After the feast and for the first time in this school not sitting alone eating, I went to the male dorms. Last year, I shared my dorm with a bunch of older guys from the team; this year, I got new dorm partners. I walked into dorm 13B and read the paper on top of it.
Garrick - Perfect. Kyle the jock was in the room.
MacTavish - Even worse than Kyle.
Riley
Volkov
König- Wait, isn’t that Lizzy's last name? But she is a girl, right? She looked like a girl, at least.
Price - He once punched a bully in the face, so he was nice, I guess.
I walked inside the room, seeing that everyone was already unpacking their stuff in the bunk.
Kyle's corner was full of his football trophy and posters of Arsenal London; he took the most place in the closet he shared with Johnny. Of course, he was one of the wealthiest kids in this school; his parents owned several newspapers, shops, and his mother was the heiress of British Petroleum.
Johnny's corner was messy, the wall full of little doodles. I never knew he'd like to draw so much; most of his normal clothes were full of paint stains. It kinda made him more sympathetic.
Nik and Price shared a bunk, like I'd thought; their side was full of posters from Nirvana, Guns N' Roses, and Metallica. Nik's father was the CEO of Aeroflot, so the little plane model didn’t surprise me. John's parents were a curse; his father was on the way to becoming the Prime Minister of England, making the press watch every move of him.
I decorated my room with some ice hockey posters and a picture of me and Tommy; I needed to write him a letter, or else he thinks I've forgotten him. The door opened, and the nice giant from earlier walked inside; this must have been Lizzy's brother and my bunkmate now.
"Hallo," he said awkwardly, ducking his head under the frame. He must be over 6ft tall; I wondered how old he is.
"That's König, mates. He isn’t very good with his English, so fuck off if you complain about his accent," Price commanded; he was like his dad, a natural leader.
"Man, how tall are you?" Johnny asked, curious and, of course, he didn’t know any social clues, idiot.
"1.88 meters."
"That's 6'2" Nikolai explained, knowing the metric system because of his Russian heritage.
I just closed my eyes, ignoring the banter of my roommates, finally falling asleep in that uncomfortable bed.
I woke up in the middle of the night by a cry from under me; that's awkward. I never knew how to react in this situation, especially if a 6'2" guy cries.
"Shh, Elli, es ist nur ein Traum. Ich passe auf dich auf. Sie finden dich nicht; du bist sicher, okay?" (It's just a dream; I'll protect you. They won't find you; you're safe.) It wasn’t his cry; it was Lizzy's. That made it only worse; I didn’t know if I could say or do anything, so I only listened to her sobs, like the weak boy I was. Dad was right; I am useless. I have a friend for one day, but when she is upset, I'm hiding in my bed, listening to her cry like a bloody coward.
The next morning, I went to the mess hall, sitting down next to Lizzie. I had a table now; I was finally inside of it.
"Ach du scheiße—what are you eating?"
"Uh, beans with toast and hash browns."
"That's disgusting," she sniffed.
"Did you even try it?"
"No."
"So why do you think it's disgusting?"
"It looks funky, and breakfast should be a hot roll with some homemade jam or maybe a butter pretzel."
"That sounds German."
"Austrian."
"So why are you eating cereal then?"
"They looked funny," she gestured at her fruit loops and smiled at the bright colors, giving me the spoon so I could taste it. It was an unfamiliar gesture, and she kinda behaved differently than the other rich girls; she behaved carelessly.
"Aye, scoot over, Simon," Johnny sat down at our table with his tray full of sausages and eggs, taking Kyle with him. Both sat down next to us; I felt like I was stuck in a parallel universe.
It got even worse when König, Nik, and John joined the table, making our table completely full. I didn’t like the new size of our friend group. Yesterday, I had only Lizzie, and now I'm stuck with five blokes.
"I'm John Price, by the way," he took Lizzie's hand and gave her a handkiss, making her blush and giggle, while König gave him a death glare. "No touching my sister."
"So, König, which football club do you like?" Kyle asked.
"FC Bayern München, you?" the giant answered.
"Arsenal will play for it someday," Kyle said proudly.
"Manchester United."
"Aye, Celtic FC."
"Of course, a Scottish club," I muttered.
"They're great."
"Tottenham Hotspur," John said proudly, and everyone besides Lizzie started to laugh.
"Mate, no, that's embarrassing."
"Shut it, Garrick."
"If I play for Arsenal, I'll beat Tottenham every day."
"You sure will," John rolled his eyes.
"Elli? Do you fancy a club?"
"I don’t like football."
"What the fuck?" everyone shouted at once.
"It's not hard; it's boring. Try gymnastics or ballet; that's a real sport, and not something where you whine because someone crossed you, stealing your ball," Johnny's and Kyle's faces fell down; how dare she insult their precious sport. It was actually funny how she had all her opinions and was never afraid to spit them out.
"You can come and watch my next rugby game; that's a real sport," John winked at her.
"No flirting with my sister, no touching my sister, no dating my sister until 18," König looked at John with his intimidating facial expression, ready to tower over all of us.
"Eighteen is a bit too early. Oh no, I never date at all; I'll grow old with a bunch of kittens," she smiled while fiddling with her bow in her hand.
"That's a loss for me, hen," poor Johnny will probably get beaten up by the end of the year if he doesn’t stop flirting.
"Why is your bow not in your hair, Lizzie?"
"Tiffany made fun of it, and she was right; it's childish."
"Du liebst deine Schleife?" (You love your bow?) Without a word, I stood up and took her bow and placed it on top of her head. This bow was probably more worth than my mom's paycheck, but still. She is my friend, so I need to be there for her like she protected me yesterday.
"Tiffany is a cunt; you want that bow, you wear that bow." The table agreed with my comment and enjoyed their food.
"What's your next subject, Si?"
"Chemistry."
"Me too," she said and grabbed my hand, pulling me with her to the next class.

Baby Shepherd - Part 7 - Jo Wilson x Shepherd!Sister!Reader
Summary: All of your siblings have children, now that Amelia and Link have Scout. After Jo spends some time with a baby left at Station 19, the two of you begin to think about adoption. Then patient Val Ashton is admitted with an abdominal pregnancy.
A/n: yes it took me over a year but I rewatched season 17 of Grey's Anatomy, cried a lot, and finished this.
"Hey, heard you caught an interesting case... well, a non-COVID case anyway."
Jo gave you a weak smile, thinking for a moment before she decided something.
"Come with me."
///
"This is Luna... she was growing on her mom's liver. Her mom is the patient you heard about." Jo explained, smiling softly as your eyes widened.
"She's so small... but she's a survivor." You stated, pausing as you realised.
"She can't see her mother, can she?" You already knew the answer, but you asked anyway, seeing how sad Jo looked.
"Val really wants to see her too."
"I'm going to go see Val..." You concluded, heading out of the NICU and across the hospital.
///
Everything had gone so quickly. One moment, your wife was trying to take Luna to see her mother before her surgery, and then, Luna's mother had coded. Jo ran the code for an hour, but you both knew she was gone. Val died never knowing her baby, never getting to hold her, or comfort her over more than a video call.
Luna's surgery went well, she was strong, but now she had lost her mother, and her father signed away his parental rights almost immediately. Jo had told you what he had texted to Val, a good luck and a baby emoji.
"She deserves parents who love her. Val loved her, even if her father didn't care that she existed... it sucks, when parents who love us get taken away so early..." you trailed off, the memories of your own father, or lack thereof, since he had died such a long time ago.
///
"Would you be mad at me if I quit surgery... and became an OB/GYN resident instead?" Jo enquired, rolling over in bed to face you, nuzzling into your bare shoulder.
"Well, it's not like Grey Sloan has a rubbish OB/GYN program, you'd get to work with Carina DeLuca... and you'd get to work with Addison, since I'm trying to persuade her to visit post-pandemic, if we ever get there. Plus, I think the residents were getting confused with the amount of Shepherds on the OR board... it wasn't as bad when Derek was here, since it was him and Amelia in neuro, and I was cardio. But now it's cardio, neuro and general surgery... now OB/GYN... like Nancy..."
Jo was silent for a moment as you trailed off, letting out a quiet hum before you spoke again.
"Yeah, Carina and Addison first, I think Nancy and Kathleen are still in shock over our wedding."
"Probably shocked to see you happy... but I love happy on you." Jo replied, grinning as you quickly leaned your head over to kiss her nose.
"I love how happy looks on you too... we're going to be okay. Even when everything sucks, you've got me, and you will always have me." Comforting your wife, you brought her hand up to your mouth to kiss, before she shifted so she could lean over and kiss you properly.
///
"DeLuca deserves a proper funeral. Not a memorial in a car park." Jo murmured, feeling you squeeze her hand as the two of you stood together, leaning into each other and trying to fight back tears as you listened to Andrew's residency application video. How he grew up stealing his older sister's game of Operation.
You were quiet during the drive back from the memorial, confusing your wife for a moment before you finally broke the silence.
"Can we- um... I want a game of Operation, at our place. For any children, doesn't have to be ours, since all my siblings have children... there's even one trying with medical school at the moment but, I-"
"Yes. I will order a game of Operation when we get home." Jo nodded, needing the joy and understanding where you were coming from immediately.
///
"How's Luna doing?" You enquired as Jo walked into the ER, making a beeline towards you as you waited for the incoming patient you were paged down to the ER for.
"She is a genius! She reacts to her name, even though Hayes doesn't seem to think so..." Jo replied, grinning at the thought of Luna, which made you smile in response.
"I'll go up to see her later- the traumas are here!"
///
"Hello, my darling wife, hello, Luna! How are we doing today?" Jo cheered, despite the fact that she was carrying OB/GYN textbooks in her arms, the scene of you stood with Luna in the NICU brightening her day.
"Well, Doctor Shepherd, Luna seems to be doing well according to Hayes, but Luna and I were having a nice chat about animals. I think she reacted when I talked about a giraffe!" you paused to glance down at Luna with a soft smile, "you talk to Bailey yet about OB?"
"Not yet. I know Webber gave me everything to say but... what do you want to watch for movie night tonight?" Jo chewed her lip, her gaze fully on Luna as you hummed.
"Madagascar?"
///
"So, Jo's changing from surgery to OB, hoping you could give her some tips, with your extensive extraordinary qualifications... we're... we're doing okay? Does Henry know how to play Operation?" you were sat by the window, looking out onto a world void of people until hands wrapped around your waist. Your wife's chin resting on your shoulder as you talked with Addison.
"Is that Addison? Can you ask her if I can ask her questions? Carina's going back to Italy for a month... she's getting married though so she's coming back!"
///
"Your mum was Val. We loved Val. You are Luna, and you have a family here. Every time I step into an OR, I think about your mum, and you, and my wife. My wife thinks about you too. Every movie night for a while now, there has been a giraffe. One day you'll get to watch those movies, Luna, I know it."
You smiled as you stood in the NICU doorway, listening to Jo talk to Luna, who smiled as she spoke to the baby girl.
///
Jo was much more tense after she met Luna's legal guardian assigned from CPS, then every time since seeing Carmen Delgato with Luna as each week went. As Hayes put it, social worker, not a parent.
"She deserves parents who love her, not a social worker who sees her as a box to tick on a list." You whispered, having snuck into the NICU to check up on Luna, not realising that Hayes had overheard.
"I'm surprised you two Shepherd haven't put the paperwork through to become her legal parents yet."
"My wife told me about how the social worker wasn't allowing that operation... we're working on it, had to get Jo's background check cleared, and they started looking at my family too. My dad was murdered before I was born, it traumatised my family... they're being thorough." You shrugged off the look on Hayes' face, keeping your gaze on Luna instead.
"All my siblings have children, Jo and I only really started thinking about children after Jo attached to this baby left at Station 19, but it was during DeLuca's memorial that I realised... anyway, we're fighting for Luna, and... we were going to move after the wedding but the pandemic... anyway, we're also looking at moving. Jo wanted to try get Link to foster until we can get the legal stuff sorted, but it's moving faster with both of us than it would if it was just Jo alone trying to get parental rights." You explained, letting out a sigh as Hayes nodded.
///
"Have you spoken to your sisters or your mother about Luna?"
"Nancy will probably try analyse her case, Kathleen will say we're not ready, Liz will be supportive, Amelia is struggling with Link and Scout. She adores them both but she's struggling. Addison is struggling with the pandemic because Jake just works on model trains, and Henry plays videogames at every waking hour. My mother... I think she was concerned at first but I think she worries we'll struggle without help... but there's a vaccine, and we're doctors who understand how to take care of Luna's needs. Besides, my sisters can get their updates from the rare Instagram photo of Luna's hand or foot or something... Luna's our daughter, I'm not listening to them talk about a baby negatively."
///
"Y/n! You're Amelia's sister! Do you know what ring she'd like?" Jo summoned you into a patient room where Luna was staying, revealing Link and three engagement rings.
"Uh... um... right, engagement ring for Amelia... why did you get three? You kept receipts right? You don't need three of them!" you pointed out, leaving Link to nod, closing the boxes and hurrying out after asking the two of you to wish him luck.
"Jo... I don't think Amelia will say yes."
"Oh poop! Merry Christmas everyone..." Jo murmured, her eyes full of panic as you sighed, nodding nervously.
///
You smiled as Jo paced around on the phone, thanking whoever was on the line informing you that the adoption of Luna had been approved.
"She tell you she sold her hospital shares yet?" You enquired, leaving Bailey to pause.
"What's with that face? Bad price?"
"I still have my shares but... it's more the person my wife sold her shares to..." You trailed off, smiling at how you referred to Jo as your wife, and accepting the kiss that Jo gave you as she sat on the picnic bench with you and Bailey.
"Maybe I should just let the person who bought them tell you..." Jo paused, turning the phone around as it began to ring with a video call.
"Miranda! Did you hear the good news?"
Bailey's face fell as Tom Koracick was revealed to now have shares in the ownership of Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital.
"Shepherd. Tell me you didn't. I offered you both character references!" Bailey hissed, whilst Jo hurriedly hung up the call, and the two of you hurried away as Bailey glared.
///
"Welcome home... welcome home Luna, and my darling wife!" Jo smiled, looking around the apartment that was once Jackson's, but the two of you had purchased from him for your family to grow up in.
"I found the Operation game!" You declared with a grin, revealing the box as Jo rolled her eyes playfully.
"I thought you were looking for cutlery!"

What if I just totally dropped off the face of the Earth for a week?
Like it’d be cool I swear. I swear maynee 😓
Anyways enjoy this snippet of a fic im working on (while I try not to ignore all my other fics)
Fic Name- Freely Tomorrow (I’ll probably change it tbh) PONYBOY POV!
Mom wouldn’t have been mom if she wasn’t so punctual. Mom always knew how much groceries were gonna be. She always knew when Darry took some money to take out a broad. There wasn’t a pattern or anything, she just knew.
Me and Soda used to ask her for money to go together somewhere and she’d have enough somehow. She would always know everything. From when Soda faked sick to when she died. She knew who was going to take me. She knew dad would die with her.
She just always knew and always had a plan.
Darry used to tell me that mom and dad fought all the time before I was born. That my mom used to not be punctual and always forget things. Then after I was born, she did a full 180. It made me happy; I was like their miracle baby.
Darry was the only one that looked like dad. Soda looked identical to mom. But Soda shared some traits with dad, mostly his personality. It didn’t bother me that I looked like Soda but didn’t act like mom or dad.
Once Two-Bit joked about me being from another dad and mom and dad shut that down. I had never seen them so angry like that before. They reassured me that everything was fine. I didn’t remember much, because it happened when I was 5.
Now, I’m faced with that problem again.
“Our parents had a will?” Darry asked the police. They just nodded at his question. Just a few minutes ago we were told our parents were in a fatal car accident. Just a minute ago we identified their bodies.
Just a second ago I was in custody of Darry.
I could tell that Darry was trying to be strong. He looked at the police officer with certainty in his eyes. It was like he had grown up in the time that it took to identify our parents bodies. Still, there was some uncertainty as he looked at the cop who held papers in his hand.
Soda was crying with me, although for our parents. He wasn’t listening to the fact that I could be taken away. Darry didn’t cry, he held his head up high and started the process of getting custody.
“We will have a court date soon. I warn you son, it’s hard to fight against a hand written will,” the police explained to Darry. I didn’t understand then what that meant. Darry didn’t seem to understand either…
“Cmon Pony, Soda, let’s go home,” Darry said to me and Soda. Soda was reluctant to get up, tears were still falling from his eyes. We still needed to call the gang to tell them what happened. Although, Darry seemed to have already done that.
“I’m sorry for your loss,” Steve said as he stood next to Soda. It was obvious he was there for Soda only. He didn’t even bother to give me a glance. I didn’t mind that much though, Darry’s conversation with the police hung heavy on my mind.
After a bit of Steve coaxing Sodapop to go home, we made it home. I felt numb, unable to do much but cry as I went to my room. I lay in my bed, looking at the window I had.
The moon was high in the sky. Just today I went and watched the sunset. Just today-
“Pony?” Someone’s voice called from the door. I was unable to move, paralyzed by the thoughts that ran in my mind. I wanted to cry again.
I just wanted to cry and have mom hold me. It was pitiful to think about. Still, the person was in the doorway, shining some light into my dark room. I hadn’t noticed the voice and waited for a second. Again they spoke and I knew who it was.
“I’m real sorry ‘bout your parents,” Johnny said. His voice was real soft, almost coaxing me to cry again. I wanted to cry but something in me didn’t want to anymore. Instead, I got up and faced Johnny.
Johnny looked like he had just finished crying. I understood why, my parents were just like parents to him. They treated him way better than his actual parents could’ve. In some weird way; it felt like we both just lost our parents.
Johnny came over to me and sat down near my legs. Something in me wanted to talk and to cry, but not both. There was a second of silence as I fought with myself to cry or not to. Instead of making a choice, Johnny chose for me.
“Will you be alright?” He looked at me. I wanted to lie, to say I’ll be fine. Yet, I just shook my head and laid back down. Johnny hugged me over the sheets.
“It’s okay to cry,” he whispered into my ear. It was like he held the ticket to my emotions. I cried heavily, heaping sobs overtaking my body. He held onto me tightly, sitting me up so he could rock me gently.
There he was- a 15 year old coaxing a 13 year old. The night was cold and he offered me warmth. I wished the warmth could’ve lasted forever.
I felt the huge blobs of tears fall down my face. It was like my grief was falling out of me, but still sticking to me. Johnny was sniffling too. However, I could tell he was trying not to cry either.
We stayed there for a long time. Just us crying and trying to hold each other. I could hear Sodapop crying too. If I tried, I could’ve probably heard Darry sighing and sniffing. Yet, I couldn’t help but revel in the warmth Johnny gave me.
In the morning I was shocked to see Johnny still with me. It was obvious that we had both cried ourselves to sleep. For a bit I just laid there, numb. When Johnny stirred was when I decided to get up.
We walked to the living room. Everyone was in there, mostly sleeping though. Darry sat at the dining table, running his hands through his hair. He was stressed.
I walked up to him and saw the papers he had on the table. It was a will, my name was etched on it in big letters. Before I could fully read it, Darry put it away.
“Go wake up Soda,” Darry said before I could do anything else. I just nodded, nothing in me could make me give a snarky response. Soda was in his bed with Steve, somehow, Soda was still crying.
For a second I just looked at them. Sodapop and Steve looked so young. I mean- I think everyone looks younger when they’re sleeping though. For Steve though, he just looked a lot less angry.
I looked to Sodapop. His body trembled a bit, and tears continued falling from his eyes. Both of their eyes were puffy, they probably cried themselves to sleep too. Before I could think more of it, I decided to wake Sodapop up.
“Soda, wake up,” I said as gently as I could, walking to Sodapops side and shaking his knee. He stirred a bit before looking at me.
“Hey Pony…” his voice trailed off. It was obvious he was seeing through me, not at me. It took a bit but he got up and followed me to Darry.
Johnny had stayed in the living room, set on waking Dally up. When me and Sodapop walked in, he abandoned that to go to me.
“Hey Johnny,” Soda greeted and Johnny nodded. Darry looked at us and ran his fingers through his hair.
The day dragged on. For me, I cried the entire day. Soda cried too, except he cried with Steve. It was obvious that Darry was holding back his tears, he held a firm face as he sorted through papers. I cried with Johnny and alone.
Somehow, Darry got everything ready for the funeral. Then, he was set in getting custody. He was granted temporary custody of me and Soda as the court date was set up. I could see the fire in his eyes as he wanted the custody to be permanent.
On the day of court I saw some people I didn’t know. They looked at me and the gang closely. It was like they were sizing them all up. Darry held me close, Soda following his lead. The judge asked some questions and soon the topic of a will was brought up.
“Darrel Curtis and his wife Lilith Curtis had a will. In the first section of the will, it is stated that Ponyboy Curtis will be handed to his godparents. Will his godparents step up to the stand?” The judge said.
I felt my mouth go dry and I looked at Darry and Soda. Soda was panicking, this was also new information to him. Darry however, held a firm face and continued to look at the person coming to the stand.
There was a lady, her hair was long. She had the same colored hair as me and the same eyes. Something in me panicked as I looked at her. We made eye contact and she smiled.
“Angelina Thomason, you are the godparent of Ponyboy Curtis right?” The judge asked. Angelina nodded, looking only at the judge.
“Have you discussed this with Lilith and Darrel Curtis?” The judge continued.
“Only with Lilith, if you see the will, Ponyboy is only related to me,” Angelina’s voice was soft but firm. For some reason, that scared me.
“When was the last time this was discussed between you and Lilith Curtis?”
“Just a month ago. She had given me her will and asked me to sign for Ponyboy Curtis.”
The judge nodded and I looked at Darry again. This time, Darry’s face looked like Sodas- scared. I looked back at the judge and the jury. Some people were talking before they quieted down from the judge.
“Our final verdicts are Sodapop Curtis will stay in custody of Darrel Curtis Jr,” the judge started. I heard some cheering from the crowd, most likely Two-Bits. After the court was called again it was time for me.
“Ponyboy Curtis will be placed in custody of Angelina Thomason. These are effective immediately,” the judge said. The court went quiet and I felt my blood go cold.
As the court was dismissed all I could do was look at Darry. Darry’s face looked sad, like he wanted to cry. Sodapop was crying as the gang met up with us outside.
“What’s- what’s gonna happen with me?” I asked. No one could answer me, they just all looked at Darry.
“You’ll come with me, that’s all,” someone said from behind me. I jumped and looked at Angelina. Up close I could see her eyes more clearly. They were grayer than green and that made me a bit jealous.
“You!” Sodapop yelled as he pointed at Angelina, “you’re taking our brother away from us!”
Angelina’s face was perplexed before going back to a calm look. Then she looked at me.
“Y’all don’t know, do you?”
I just looked at her. Know what? Why she was taking me away from my brothers? I shook my head and she just looked away.
“It isn’t my place to tell you. You have to pack though, tomorrow we will go to Kansas-“
“To hell with that! You’re not taking him,” Sodapop yelled at her again. He pushed her and instantly was held back by Steve. I knew Steve was angry at Angelina too though. It seemed like the entire gang was ready to kill her.
“Look- it ain’t my choice. Lilith didn’t know she was gonna die and she just chose me. We can stay in Tulsa but I know what goes on here. Darrel, you can choose for Ponyboy to have a good life in Kansas, or stay here and become like y’all,” Angelina was starting to lose her cool. I couldn’t help but flinch at her voice. I didn’t want to leave but I didn’t have a choice.
I looked at Darry and his face was unreadable. Dallas however reacted for him.
“Like y’all? The fuck is that supposed to mean. You’re taking him away from family and you have the balls to make us seem bad?” Dallas sounded close to tears as he started to walk towards Angela. He held a glare in his eyes as a small crowd started to form from the commotion.
I looked from Dallas to Angela. The question was still unanswered and I feared for the answer.
Kansas? Away from the gang?
I had just lost my parents. Why would I want to lose the rest of my family? It was too soon for anything like this to happen. Before anything else could happen, Angela spoke up.
“I’ll be at your house tomorrow Darrel. I ask that you have an answer by then,” with that, Angelina walked away into a car. I just stood there and before long I was taken back home.
We all just stayed in the living room. No one looked at me. Something in me wanted to cry again, it felt just like when mom and dad died.
“So did y’all know her?” Two-Bit finally asked, breaking the silence. I shook my head and Sodapop did too. We looked over at Darry and he sighed and ran his fingers through his hair.
“I met her once, when I was Ponyboys age. Shes only two years older than me,” Darry looked at me.
“I didn’t think she was going to take you. She knows we’re family,” his voice started breaking as he got angrier, “Why did mom have to put her to take you? Why just you?”
The questions hung heavy in the air. I just looked down, tears welling in my eyes again.
“Am I staying here or going to-“
“Kansas,” Darry interrupted me. I looked at him in shock. Everyone else in the gang looked at him in shock and he just looked at me. Something in me was scared, almost wanting to run away.
Still, Darry’s face was certain. That made me sad and angry. Did he want me gone? Did he think I was a burden now? Before I could do anything, there was a hand on my back.
“Guess you have to pack,” it was Dally. I just looked at him and thought about the same questions I was thinking with Darry. Still I nodded and got up, albeit numbly. I couldn’t look at anyone as I walked into my room with a suitcase. Dallas helped me, as did everyone else but my brothers.
I knew why they didn’t. They were arguing in the living room, something they didn’t want me to hear. At that moment I didn’t want to hear it, I didn’t want to remember that there was a reason why it was only me leaving. When I was finished packing, I went to sleep.
Everyone else didn’t make fun of me for crying. I could see the anger in Darry’s eyes, the fear in Sodas, the uneasiness in Johnnys, some anger in Dallas’s and Steve’s, but sadness in Two-Bits. They all stayed over to get ready to say goodbye to me in the morning. I didn’t want to leave.
I don’t want to leave.

palentines day | tamarack & qiu
Tumblr media
𓆉 | fandom: our life: now & forever
𓆉 | characters: tamarack baumann, qiu lin, reader
𓆉 | word count: 1,384 words (7,332 characters)
𓆉 | a/n: please. i need someone to tell me if this is wayyyyy too ooc. but anyways enjoy my first ol2 fic??? HAPPY VALENTINES DAY LOVES
"y/n, if you and your friends want a ride so you can carry all your stuff, we need to go now!" opal yelled from the front door, putting on her boots and adjusting her scarf. she was starting work a little later due to the special occasion in her child's life.
valentine's day, a day that happened every february 14th, once every three hundred sixty-five days, and y/n loved it. ever since they learned about the special day, giving gifts to the people you love, sharing kindness, and getting/giving chocolates, y/n had been in love with the day.
y/n glided down the stairs, with their backpack, and two big bags filled to the brim with gifts to give, and stopped right in front of their mom. "sorry mom, i was just finishing up my last one. it's really special!"
y/n said, while opal collected the bags from them to let them put on their jacket and boots. opal chuckled, feeling a little confused at the statement, since they stayed up an hour past y/n's usual bedtime to finish all the valentine gifts for their class and friends outside of class.
"y/n, i thought we finished them last night?" opal said, opening the front door and letting y/n walk ahead of her.
"um… yes, no, maybe so?"
"and what's that supposed to mean?"
"i can't tell you! no more asking mom, ok?" y/n said with a smile, before jumping off the porch, instead of using the stairs. opal could just weakly sigh as she locked the door and got everything situated in the car.
"ok y/n i won't ask anymore but, could you go get the other members of the trio? i called their parents last night, so it shouldn't be an issue. you got that trooper?"
y/n nodded and ran off to qiu's house, ringing the doorbell, collecting their friend, and bringing the stuff to the car, before doing the same thing with tamarack. once the trio was by the car, and all their stuff was in the trunk, opal dusted herself off and smiled.
"good morning you two, i hope you guys didn't stay up too late making all of these!" she teased, opening the back door for the kids to go in.
"good morning mrs. l/n! i finished mine a while ago since i have a lot of people to give treats to." qiu replied with a cheeky smile. he looked at tamarack and y/n before whispering, "i have something special for you guys, don't worry."
tamarack smiled widely, holding the seatbelt that went in front of her chest and waist. "i made some stuff for you guys too! and you too y/n's mom! oh, but i have to give it to you after school."
opal looked at the rearview mirror and smiled at tamarack before pulling out of the driveway. "thank you, i don't mind waiting so it's all fine. i hope you made stuff for your grandparents as well?"
tamarack nodded before pulling them all into a different conversation about what she found in the woods last night. opal took no offence from the switch, knowing this is how kids were and drove to school while the kids talked in the back. opal thought to herself on the ride there, happy that her child had friends that made them feel so comferable in this new place. they had been in golden grove for a little bit over six months, and y/n had settled in nicely, which was music to her ears. as she pulled up to the school and parked in the parking lock, she looked back at the kids.
"ok, you three! let's get this in your class, alright?"
she got out of the car, while the three kids met her at the trunk and started taking out their things. opal smiled and helped them by bringing in some of the larger things since she could practically see the energy radiating off the three kids, even if qiu disguised it better than the other two.
once they got inside the classroom, and opal said goodbye to the energetic trio, y/n excitedly took off their outside clothes, bringing all the gifts to their desk. this was business to y/n, and the quicker everyone got settled, the quicker the valentine's exchange could happen.
after mrs. murray got everyone settled and did roll call, she set rules up for the valentine exchange. everyone had the paper bags they made the day prior on their desks, decorated and bedazzled to their choosing, and the valentine goodies ready to be handed out by them. mrs. murray played some music and the giving began.
as mrs. murray sat at her desk, some kids would put things on her desk, either being bold about it or sneaky. it was cute to see the kids acting like kids. tamarack had some things for everyone, little drawings of things from the forest, like a pretty leaf she saw that reminded her of a certain classmate, or an acorn she picked up once. everyone got some candies from her as well.
when it was time for her to drop things off in qiu's bag, it was already overflowing. this was expected though, since qiu was pretty popular. the trio had talked about it in the car, all three of them agreeing that he was going to get the most out of them. tamarack tucked the card, candies, and pretty stones she found, in his desk, then turned to go put things in other people's bags.
y/n had worked hard to get something for everyone, secretly making a little bit more for their two best friends, and their new favourite teacher. they even had some for their uncle yusuf, granny and gramps, and mr. and mrs. lin. this was serious business for them. their valentine's gift for their mom was hidden underneath their bed, which they would give to their mom at dinner after she came back from work.
qiu on the other hand was putting things in everyone's paper bags except tamarack and y/n's. he had a 'better' gift for them since they were his close friends, and didn't want to make anyone jealous. he slipped to their desks and hid the presents in their backpacks, making a mental note to write down in his notebook that he needed to tell them where it was.
the gift exchange lasted a few more minutes, and mrs. murray surprised the class with cupcakes and cookies.
since y/n, tamarack, and qiu all got different cookies, they each split the cookies three ways and gave each other a piece of their own so they could all share. due to it being valentine's day, they were allowed to sit anywhere they wanted for the rest of the school day since they were only going to be eating snacks and watching movies. qiu sat on the left of y/n while tamarack sat on the right, letting the music play as the kids were talking about what they got.
"so, how was your first valentine's here? did it live up to your expectations?" qiu asked the two, licking his lips from the frosting, after y/n signalled to it.
"it was fun! i hope everyone liked me and the forest's gifts! i worked really hard on them!" tamarack said, kicking her feet while leaning back on the chair.
"it's not over for me! i still have a bunch of gifts to hand out! me and mom are going to the diner table tonight to drop off uncle's gift! mom called him and asked if he was working tonight, so its perfect! if we decide to have dinner there, do you guys want to come?" y/n rambled, taking a breath after they were finished.
"yes! i wanna go!" tamarack exclaimed, earning a chuckle from qiu.
"sure, if your mom lets us, then i would like to come too!"
"great, i'll try my hardest to convince her, and ill try convincing your parents qiu, and your grandparents tamarack! we can do this!"
qiu chuckled. "i thought you said i was scatterbrained! it's not even confirmed that you guys are going there to eat."
"…oh yeah."

Saw my mom today for what is likely the last time in a while
it sucked the whole time. Last time should have been Saturday -- except that I had put our plans (family symphony event downtown) in my phone for Sunday so when i got a "???" text from her Saturday at 1145 I was PISSED because
Why didnt she text me that morning to help me remember? I have two kids and am in the middle of moving wtf.
Why did she wait until i was 45 minutes late and then send a message with NO helpful information?
Anyway the kids were ok with the symphony but since (for me) it was so last minute I forgot to bring with her spare car key (which I still had) and more importantly the Jury Summons which was sent to our address instead of her new one. So made plans to see her today so I could give her those things.
Decided to go to the park with the kids because I just dont have the energy today to try and carry a conversation all the way through dinner. She parked at the house but stayed in her car the whole time I got the kids ready because she didnt tell me she was there. Fine, I get it, you hate my husband SO MUCH you wont even come to the door. Then we get to the park and she is almost actively refusing to talk to me. ZERO questions about the move, zero questions when I told her *my car got hit by a deer this week*, and just generally avoidant. Then when I finally decided enough was enough (at 85* and 90% humidity) and we needed to go home my daughter started begging her to come with to our house. I told my mom I would keep her up to date on our progress west and that I love her. She said she loved me too and then immediately turned to go back to her car. No Be Safe. No hug. No Hope It Goes Well. No Call If You Need Anything.
Thankfully Rosie was hungry so I was able to distract her with food quickly so she didn't spend too long begging for Nana to come with - after the symphony Saturday it took almost 30 minutes for her to drop it.
This whole thing has made the last six months just so incredibly tiring and sucky. I spent four months in therapy to figure out how to move this relationship forward and she has never once acknowledged any wrongdoing or missteps or even that she hurt me in any way. I suddenly feel like I have some weird insight into divorce: how do you keep a relationship going when it feels like the person you were IN a relationship with isn't there anymore? How do you balance wanting to respect what that relationship was while also moving forward knowing it will never be like that again and honestly not being sure you WANT it to be like that since it wasn't that fucking great, apparently. And it's not just me, but my kids are trying to deal with it too, and its not fair to them at all.
Two more sleeps and then it's off to Nebraska and putting all of this behind me for as long as I can.

oh my God healthy mother alert
Cw: hateful speech (homophobic, classism, cheating parents, ableist rhetoric ie learning in a classroom setting) it's not healthy but for once I wrote about a good mother son relationship. Don't worry I'll make it up next time😌
Steve and Eddie come back late from a date and unfortunately Steve's parents' car is there in the driveway. Steve feels so fucking cold and Eddie takes a deep breath and looks to him. "Wait here." Steve says, holding up a hand. He already knew Eddie was willing to come with him. At Eddie's face, Steve smiles, warm but terrified. "I'd rather deal with them alone. Don't worry sweetheart, keep the car warm." He winks and slides out the car, keeping it running just in case.
Eddie is sitting in the dark, minutes drag by and his legs are getting tired from bouncing around. Eventually Eddie sucks his teeth. "Fuck it." He climbs out of the car, careful to leave the door open in case they need to run. Or worse, walk slowly and hold themselves together. Steve was always talking about how exhausting his parents are. A nice way of saying they sucked, as far as Eddie's emotional translator was concerned.
He walked up to the house, carefully and quietly. Not that it would have done any good, he could hear Steve's father from outside. "....enough that it's a man but does it have to be that man? He's a fuck up in school Steve. He can't even graduate, it's just memorizing answers at this point he can't even do that right!" Well fuck. Ow. Eddie pantomimed pulling a dagger from his heart, trying not to giggle. Weak sauce insults were a dime a dozen. He's heard worse from 12 year old girls. Steve made a disgusted sound. "Dad you only got your first job because your father blew the old boss. We all know it." Eddie's knees almost gave out. Fuck his baby knew how to take it AND give it. "Besides, whenever I asked you for help you always told me to ask mom. Looks like you need a refresher, huh? And anyways it doesn't take a genius to make coffee you said? You broke the first two coffee makers I bought you for Christmas!"
Eddie was going to rawdog Steve the second he got his hands on him. Maybe he could convince him to do it on the driveway. Steve's dad interrupted Eddie's frankly fantastic imagination. "All we ask is for you to do well enough to get in the business and take over. Get a wife. Hell we'll find you one! But you have to go after that sick murderer! We're doing this for your own good. For the family's good." Steve scoffed. "If you have a shit about my well-being you should have been here instead of banging your secretary. Family good, my ass." Eddie grinned and made a face. Fuck Steve was so hot when he was being mean.
From this angle he could see both Steve and his dad look over at a woman that frankly, was far to gorgeous to be married to that guy. She held up a hand and Eddie swallowed another laugh, Steve looked just like her. "I've heard enough. I've just had a 12 hour flight. I've been wearing shoes that would make Madonna cry in sympathy. I'm tired and I don't want to hear anymore. Steve." And his baby looked seconds from crying. "Steve did I ever tell you I had a girlfriend in high school?" WHAT? WHAT? HUH? EXCUSE ME? Eddie's jaw broke off and bounced somewhere over where Steve's must've. "Mom. What? Like a girl space friend or a." At this Steve made a wiggle with some finger scissor. Eddie took it back, he was going to teach Steve some decorum on the driveway.
His mother just smiled. "Sweetheart I would never get mad at you for dating who you wanted. Besides I know about the secretary. Who do you think told me?" At this she made a sly wink and Eddie was going to eat out two Harringtons in his life or his name isn't Edward Munson. Joking. Mostly. Steve's father was fit to burst. "But dear, our boy is shacking up with the Munson boy! It's just not right!" His mother snapped her finger and both men stood up straight. Interesting, good to know Steve can be obedient, Eddie thought. He had to learn how to snap though.
"I've heard your complaints, dear." The word dear coming out more like a mocking thing rather than endearing. "I'm refusing to hear them. I won't have our boy, our son, trapped in some worthless, emotionless well like ours. Steve as far as I'm concerned, you're fine. All is well." She pointed at her husband. "Don't make me disgrace you with a formal divorce." She snapped when it looked like he was going to protest. "The fact that I still have your last name is vile enough, I have enough stakes in the company to keep me well fed, I will do it. And I'll take your pretty little secretary with me."
Steve looked proud, intrigued, and a little grossed out. "Mom I really. Really don't want to hear about your sex lives." At this, she looked a little considerate. "You're right. It's inappropriate. Anyway, go bring your boyfriend in, that concrete can't be good for his knees." They all looked up and Steve smiled. Eddie had hid his upper body well behind some plants but the entire lower half of his body was out to see. He waved his fingers and walked in. "Uh. Hi. Hi, Steve's mom. Steve's dad." His mother looked amused and Steve was smiling, clear adoration in his eyes. His father looked. Embarrassed. Good.
"I'll skip the small talk. If my son comes to me upset in any way, and I find out you had anything to do with it, nothing, no one, and nowhere would keep you safe from me. Understand?" Steve's mom leaned back, looking relaxed and regal all at once. "Yes ma'am." Eddie promised. "You better graduate." Steve's dad interjected. "Can it." Steve threw back. And he took Eddie's hand. "Come on." He dragged Eddie back out to the car. "You can't have a boner in front of my parents dude." Steve hissed when they sat in. "Oh shit." Eddie murmured and Steve's head hit the steering wheel.

wow I totally forgot to post the fantastic dream i had this morning. I was having a really good Sparks dream and then got a phonecall from my aunt telling me extended family were coming over and being the only person home i needed to be the host, so it ended possibly before it ever even got to the meat and potatoes. but as it was...
I was with my family in our old family van, which is technically my car now, but back then it was the family van. anyway, here comes a recurring theme from many past Sparks dreams: the boys were set to play a venue close to my old hometown, so we needed to give them a lift for some reason, although I guess Russell already got to the venue so Ron was riding with us.
We got tremendously lost. I meant to tell my mom to circle around to a different parking lot to redirect us and instead we drove to like...a whale exhibit (?) and the whales were huge and splashing overhead with no glass or anything while we walked up a ramp to get to the next part of town. didn't make much sense but ron liked the whales. It was really surreal seeing him just sitting upright in a carseat i'd sat in many times, completely blasé to the whole situation as if he were just a random man we picked off the street. i always look at him then look away quickly in my dreams. he would sometimes reply to situations in a very drab and matter of fact way that we found amusing.
anyway, guess what our mystery venue was? my childhood church, although as is typically the case in dreams, it looked nothing like the real thing, yet by dream logic nothing seemed different. Russell plus the band's entourage were there setting up equipment, i think russell was kind of like "what took you so long?" as there were a lot of mishaps along the way (including us accidentally hitting a kid on his bike while parking but don't worry he was fine). I asked ron if he ever considered reversing their roles and doing the singing while russell played the keyboards. he said he could probably sing but russell only knows how to play one note on the keyboard. they both snickered at this. I do not know what this means.
in the church auditorium with my family + the audience, there was an opening act of a magic show that involved. eggs? it went on for too long and impressed nobody. And then there was like...a free-for-all act where we voted on Simpsons characters. I don't know either. this briefly fused into a family guy segment before we were like "its 11pm can we please get Sparks onstage" so we did. but i don't remember anything about the show and i'm not even sure there was a show, because for all the talk of playing and equipment, apparently tonight's event that we reserved tickets for was actually the premiere of a brand new sparks BIOPIC.
it opened with 70s-esque footage of a teenage girl talking into the camera from her bedroom reminiscing about the band from her perspective until "amateur hour" kicks in and pretty decent-looking actors portraying the boys are shown playing onstage during the 70s. i'm thinking, this is pretty cool, i always wondered if a movie like this would happen. and then...
through some sort of stylized shot transition, the band are being played by kittens, singing and prancing around onstage. russell doing all his usual movements but in feline form. Haha what a funny and oddly stylish bit, i'm thinking to myself. what a fun way of depicting their personalities. but it just...continues like that? punk russell in 1976 singing "i wanna be like everybody else" while twirling around with the microphone but as a kitten, thrashing about? everyone is laughing. it's so good.
the movie truly does continue on in this fashion yet for as confounding as its sudden shift in direction is, we become oddly immersed in its storytelling enough not to even notice the boys are still being played by kittens, in a stroke of auteuristic magic a la todd haynes' superstar: the karen carpenter story. a sequence depicting "girl chasing" in their younger years in the form of kittens climbing onto the legs of girls who are walking away from them up some stairs while they mew desperately has the audience both cackling and aww'ing. another scene that stands out is a roadie saying "you guys don't eat enough!" and putting both ron and russell kittens in a bowl of mashed potatoes and gravy.
I was under the impression ron and russ were really proud of the film and likely had direct involvement themselves, but had kept it so tightly under wraps that no one knew what was coming. I wish I could tell you more but then i got that phonecall.

Crazy Heartbreakers ruined Josuke's entire character in 189 words.
This is all after he met Ryoko and heard her story about copying her hair from Noriaki. He asks her if he can "borrow it", and this is what happens next when he comes across the possessed bakers.
Tumblr media
“Looks like you’re all real interested in this great hair of mine… Wanna know why I wear it?”
He kept walking towards them as he spoke.
“That’s right---it all went down 10 years ago. I came down with a high fever---I was on death’s door. My mom tried driving me to the hospital, but to make matters worse, there was a huge blizzard that day. Our car got stuck, and just when things were looking grim for me, my hero appeared. He saved me, put me on his bike, and took me to the h---no, wait.”
Josuke’s brows furrowed as he spoke.
“Nah, I don’t think he could’ve done that… Think that’s the fever talking---he probably didn’t have a bike. Hang on a sec… Forget about that. It wasn’t a bike. But the car couldn’t move, right? Hmm…”
He stopped to think in the middle of his own story.
“Well, anyway, that guy had my hairstyle, so I copied him and did my hair up the same way… How’s that sound? Whaddya think? Good reason?”
There was a humorous edge to his voice as he approached the possessed women.
I can't even put into words how much of a slap in the face this is to anyone who even remotely likes Josuke. This is basically his core character trait, the most iconic moment in his backstory, the reason he is the way he is, and it's being reduced to him mimicking some girl he just met. Instead, the reason for his sensitivity around his hair is because Ryohei suggested he put his hair up that way to do better in fights.
Kadono took one look at the backstory Araki wrote 30 years ago, this story that was a sweet display of Morioh's golden heart, the kindness of strangers, and the emotional core of Josuke's character, and made it into a joke.
Are you kidding me?

WIBTA for kicking my brother out?
Long story short, last year I (24) got my own apartment, it's literally only a 1 bedroom; I got it myself without a cosigner, I paid an entire year of rent up front, and I paid a triple deposit because it's my first lease anywhere, and I've never asked anybody to help me pay any of the bills, I even moved all my furniture in completely by myself without help from anybody including my mom or her stinky husband (32, ew) or my brother (19)
I lived here by myself for about 4 months when my brother and my mom's stinky husband got into a fight
(it was Stinkys fault, he was starting shit with all my moms kids and my brother was just the only one aggressive enough to put him in the hospital like he deserved, but my mom defended him and lied to the court so he wouldn't be deported, he's her only source of income atm because of her disability)
anyways, my brother went to juvie for a few months and the courts say he and Stinky can't live in the same house together anymore, since this happened a few days after he graduated high school, they decided to not try him like an adult for the sentence, BUT if he breaks the restraining order, he will be tried like an adult; so my mom asked if my brother could live with me for a few DAYS so she could get her own place, for her and her kids (including the brother STILL IN MY HOUSE), and divorce Stinky-mcgee
I agreed to do it under the radar because I would have to pay a huge fee to add him to my lease, but it's against my lease to have him here this long without adding him...and my apts are trying to rebrand as "luxury" to raise rent, so they're kicking people out left and right for very minor offenses like smoking cigarettes indoors or hanging clothes on their balcony, things TECHNICALLY against the lease but REALLY stupid. (and charging new people more than what the people being kicked out were paying)
they will 100% evict me if I don't pay to add him to my lease if they find out, so I can't even call the maintenance man (he's a snitch, he already snitched on me for having more pets than I said I did). So I can't get my AC fixed and its 110°F outside rn...if I get evicted, I don't have any savings and I will be homeless, BUT ANYWAYS
it's been 7months, and my mom hasn't even LOOKED for an apartment,
my brother has 3 jobs and a car, but instead of looking for an apartment he spends all his money on his girlfriend (20), and video games, and shoes (I get that he's still a teen, so he wants teen things), but he won't even pay for the grocery bill if I ask (I only ask for groceries, the CHEAPEST bill, since I work with food, I rarely eat at home anyways, so it's mostly HIS groceries) and he always says he doesn't have enough money
I am at my fuckin limit tbh,
but I'm not sure if he could get an apt the same way I did with his conviction history (he's been to juvie like 6 times for different things), and my mom has been evicted so many times for fighting people that I doubt she could co sign if they look into her renters history; and my older brother (27) won't co sign or take him in because he says my brother isn't reliable enough, and he doesn't want to take the financial hit if my brother gets arrested again and can't pay rent... (the other kids are still school age, so they don't count)
he's old enough to go to a shelter, but we use to live in a shelter for YEARS after a tornado took out our house and our dad, and he took it the hardest, so I think living in a shelter might be a trigger for him(?)...so I kinda feel bad for suggesting it(?)
WIBTA if i just packed his shit, put it in his car, and told him to go to either his girlfriends house or a shelter?
(I kinda feel shitty for even thinking of it tbh)
What are these acronyms?
