Was relistening to Sam's Playlist and it gave me angsty thoughts about Quinn and what Darlin could have gone through living with him

(Tw: eating disorder, manipulation, abusive relationships)

In the beginning, it was fine. It wasn't the best relationship, but it wasn't like Darlin knew much better (or felt like they deserved better). But he made them feel seen, Quinn saw the parts of themself that they had hidden and he didn't push them away, in fact he almost seemed giddy to accept them.

But the softer moments he graced them came fewer and farther between. There wasn't a kiss without teeth, an embrace without a bruise. But it was fine, they could take it, they were strong...and they had gotten pretty good at finding pleasure in the pain.

When they moved in with him, the glimpses of his true self only became more apparent. Since he was a vampire, he didn't need to eat. So there wasn't much food to be had, and it wasn't like many grocery stores were open at night. Not that Quinn let them go anywhere without him. Delivery kept them from starving, and it became easier to ignore hunger pains as time went on. And Quinn didn't mind if they lost a few pounds, he always went on about how much he loved their body, like it was one of the only things that gave them value.

If it wasn't their body, then it was their blood. And God forbid if they said no. Even they couldn't stop a chill going down their spine at the look in his silver eyes when they tried to refuse. His voice would be sweet as honey as he whispered in their ear, his nails trailing along the vein at their neck.

"I need blood from someone, Precious...if not you, then I'll have to find someone else to entertain me tonight. Though I doubt they'll be able to walk away from it like you do. You're just so strong...are you sure you can't just take it?"

Whumpee who was hit in the face forever ago but still has problems with their jaw clicking whenever they open their mouth or try to chew on anything harder than bread.

They get hurt again and Caretaker ends up taking them in and feeding them. When they hear the sound of their jaw snapping, they’re like “Uh, [Whumpee]? What the fuck?”

After having the whole Marcos and argent movie night thing (Marcos being a hopeless romantic he obvi loves romance movies) but I also think he would enjoy to binge tv shows with Julia. He also is the kind of weird to enjoy commercials.🫢

Orellia on the other hand probably can’t sit still though most tv shows maybe some movies—but I do think she would like documentaries. She just wouldn’t see the point in sitting through something ‘fake’.
