Mars in Astrology
💋 Passion in Astrology can be found in the Mars sign and house placement:
- Aries Mars are more passionate In nature, whatever they want, they go after, fiercely and bravely. The type to love sports, fights and competition of any kind. They thrive in a competitive environment and relationships. It possible their passion is tied to their childhood in some way (same for Mars in 1st)- so if this involves child hood toys they used to collect, eating their favorite foods growing up or playing games that they used to when times were simpler.
- Mars in 1st house can make the native very passionate about their looks, being perceived as dominate/hot/sexy, working out and having physical strength. I’ve noticed that they may like competition but generally they don’t try that hard to compete with others if they are in good health. If these natives are confident in themselves- they try so hard to boost the confidence of everyone around them.
- Taurus Mars can be passionate about their possessions, having their material needs met, connecting to their 5 senses and financial gain. “Anyone can cook” 👨🏻‍🍳 🤌🏻mentality. Passionate about rest! This may sound silly- but it’s actually quite hard to master, especially in hustle culture. As someone with no earth placements in their chart, it’s extremely hard for me to rest, slow down and enjoy my food. Be present, Taurus mars understands and values this. Not the type to gamble their money away. Needs things to make sense materially.
- Mars in 2nd house makes the individual very passionate and their financial security and safety, having their basic needs met, having an abundance of possessions. They can thrive in jobs that are considered a “competitive pay” corporation. They may love shopping, spending and saving money. They value passion and material wealth, so depending on what sign the Mars placement is in can add more context of what it surrounds. Bulk spenders, Costco/Sams Club membership holders lmao.
- Mars in Gemini is very multi faceted in what they are passionate about. They have little niches and hobbies that they love, anything that challenges them mentally while also being hands on! My mom has this and she’s really into gardening and cooking with the food she’s grown. She can get very restless about it but I think that it’s so cute how whatever she is passionate about consumes her mentally.
- Mars in 3rd is passionate about mental pursuits, they could have been picked on as a kid, which made them highly ambitious in their studies. Extremely competitive in the realm of knowledge. Their peers and siblings may see them as a threat or just see them as generally argumentative. Although I think these people just enjoy a good debate and exercising their intellectual capabilities. They could have an abundance of hobbies they indulge in and our passionate about. They may bound with their friends through their hobbies and passions. Could really enjoy competitive video games such as Smash Bros.
- Mars in Cancer natives are passionate about their family and proving themselves to their family. They could have been compared to their family members a lot growing up, or just felt an instability at home. They are passionate about cultivating a home for themselves and starting a family of their own one day. This does not have to be pertinent to kids- chosen family- fur babies 🐾 or significant other also ring true for this sign. - Mars in 4th are passionate about their loved ones, they are highly protective of themselves and others. These people are quite competitive but in a passive aggressive way. They are usually at war with their own emotions, family and security. I’ve noticed many of these individuals have had violence in childhood home or trauma surrounding family ):
- Mars in Leo they are passionate about their creativity, children and having fun! Would love to have this Mars placement honestly, because these people march to the beat of their own drum. It’s very admirable! They are passionate about their own authenticity, you will never catch them trying to steal someone else’s Swag lmao. I think they invented swag quite honestly 😂
- Mars in 5th are total party animals! They are passionate about life and all that the world has to offer. The world is their Oyster! Every sidewalk is their runway and every song they hear is the backtrack for the movie they star in! Their life is all about being confident in their own skin and romanticizing their selves, relationships and passion projects.
- Mars in Virgo are passionate about helping others and being the best version of themselves. This Mars sign is notoriously known for being able to try something once and being exceptionally good at it the first go. I hate to say it (only because I know it comes from a place of pain) but these natives are passionate about perfection. This can cause them a lot of anxiety if they are careful. Although, they are good at many things, it is advised that they lean into whatever makes them happy, serve their part in making the world a better place!
- Mars in 6th are passionate about their purpose, their health and their pets. They can spend a lot of time researching how to become better versions of themselves. They will have a very active routine and live passionately day to day. The type to wake up at sunrise, take their vitamins tend to their pets needs, cook a whole food breakfast, workout, meditate, journal, than go to work, tend to their pets needs, do their night time self care, hygiene, journal, meditate, pre sleep stretch, sleep exactly 8 hours, repeat. Function well with planners.
- Mars in Libra are passionate about harmony and balance. When I tell you their whole plan of action is strictly devoted to how not to get into conflict… it’s to the tea. They are super passionate about the relationships in their life, and are very generous in nature. They love art, certain aesthetics, good food and beautiful things. They may be called lazy from time to time because they don’t quite function the way other people do. They may make plans for 50 different things one day because they have a difficult time saying no- then end up going to none of them because they didn’t finish getting ready until everything event was finished. These people invented fashionably late.
- Mars in 7th is passionate about their partnerships. These natives are actually quite confrontational in comparison to Libra Mars. This is because they want to squash the beef before it’s even a problem. There may be a tendency to people please- but most of the time these people are just socially extroverted, kind and considerate.
- Mars in Scorpio is another sign that is just passionate in nature. It is so intense for them that it is hard for them to do anything if they not completely engulfed in passion. They psychoanalyze everyone they meet, at natural detectives and are friends with the unknown. They aren’t scared of the dark and often find so much beauty in what others cannot comprehend
- Mars in 8th are passionate about the unknown as well, it is very enticing to them. Anything involving mystery is naturally alluring to them. They love to get lost in rabbit holes of whatever they are interested in. Whatever it is they are the master of- and you question them about it, they’ve already thought of answer. Because they know their hobbies are often taboo, scary, and misunderstood- they have studied every answer to every question that someone had for them. Their passions are all encompassing. They are so much more than deep. Everything they do is intentional.
- Mars in Sagittarius are adventurous, hilarious and curious. I feel like Sagittarius more than Gemini Mars has that “Curiosity killed that cat” vibe. For Gemini mars it’s more like googling disturbing thing’s because they are curious than regretting it. For Sag tho, it’s doing things because YOLO and why tf not? Than breaking their leg or something. Although doesn’t happen often because we know how lucky Sag placements are lmao. But it’s like they jumped off a cliff, didn’t die but they broke their leg. Haha- this was a tangent
- Mars in 9th is going places! Literally they can’t sit still. Most likely passionate about travel, philosophy, and adventure. One of the most fun placements to have. Extreme sports is common here, skydiving, bungee jumping etc. They live to experience all that there is to experience. Very ambitious and passionate about education and teaching as well. They probably have things that they LlVE by
- Mars in Capricorn are passionate about success, achieving their goals which usually require them to work really hard. Where ever the mars is located in the houses can tell you a little bit more about what their goals are. They are passionate about being in control of their own lives, not takin shid from anyone lol
- Mars in 10th are passionate about being successful, being their own boss, their reputation and getting external recognition. They will put a lot of energy into their career and be very passionate about whatever they are doing. They will be a trail blazer and their career because they do it the right way the first time. Extremely hard workers- just be weary of burn out Mars in 10th folks!
- Mars in Aquarius is passionate about humanitarian pursuits, their community and friendships. They move about the world in the most unpredictable and unexpected way. They can be seen as a black sheep of their peers and then BAM they’re the ones turning heads, setting trends and on top. You will never know their next move and honestly neither do they! They get sudden bursts or urges of motivation and ideas- so never underestimate these individuals!
- Mars in 11th are passionate about their dreams, humanity and social causes. They will spend a lot of time surrounded by their friends and in their community. Although, their best friends will be fighting alongside them. They are passionate about the injustices of the world, stick up for the underdog and let their freak flag fly!
- Mars in Pisces are passionate about compassion, sacrifice, and unconditional love. Many of the times Pisces mars has their head in the clouds and put their energy into reading or writing their own book, painting the world they envisioned in their dream the night before, or staring at a the ocean, only to find God. This is if they are in a healthy nature, but many times they could escape through dr*gs, alc*h*l, s*x, or toxic relationships. This placement can get a bad rap for their changeability and confusion energy but they love harder than no other and would do anything for you if committed.
- Mars in 12th is passionate about their dreams, spiritually, many of them are religious or spiritual in nature. I haven’t met many who aren’t. They are natural introverts who need to spend as much time alone as they can to recharge. They may feel outcasted from society. A lot of people talk behind their back because of this which makes them withdraw even deeper. These natives benefit from living a spiritual, service oriented lifestyle, developing boundaries and surround themselves by people who genuinely want the best for them. It is hard but it is doable. Stay strong Mars in 12th!

How to use astrology to grow 🌿✨ part 1.
Intro: Knowing your birth chart is not just good for understanding your personality, but it can be used as a tool to find ways to grow and become the best version of yourself. It's important to note that no matter what placements you have in your chart, whether debilitated or harshly aspected, you can still find ways to make them work to your advantage!! It's just a matter of knowing your chart and seeing how it plays out in your life.
If you have a debilitated placement, you can still evolve that placement so that it can work to your advantage. If you have oppositions, squares or conjunctions it doesn't mean that you're stuck with bad luck for the rest of your life, it just means you have to go through trials in order to grow.
The key is HOW you look at your chart. The point of astrology is to show you that you are never just one fixed personality, there are a number of things that contribute to how you act. That's why growing and evolving is never a one-step process. And so let's begin:
The Sun
Whatever house your sun is in, you need to laser focus your attention to that area of your life, it is where you will find the most strength. Strengthing the house of your sun with help you to feel invigorated, and ready to face challenges head on.
Examples:
-if you have sun in 6th you need to build a solid routine for working out and getting stuff done. Start learning how to cook foods that make you feel good and healthy, get a gym membership, take a yoga class etc.
- If you have sun in 2nd you need to recite affirmations of self worth every morning and take an online course for financial literacy. Read books on investing and finance.
-If you have sun in 8th or 12th you need to meditate as much as you can, hone your psychic awareness, and clear any shame mentally associated with sex.
-if you have sun in 5th, take an acting class, take dance lessons. Decide to become an actor on the side, or maybe as a main thing. Do something BIG.
Whatever house your sun is in, strengthen it, as much as you possibly can. This will create an unshakable amount of growth for you.
Saturn
Saturn is definitely not an easy planet to work with. Ofc it's even harder if you have an odd or absent relationship with father figures in your life. The lesson here is to heal the psychological father wound. Maybe it's unwanted psychological habits that your father instilled in your mind so now you beat yourself up every time you fail at something, because your father figure treated you the same way. But regardless, it's about developing the internal father. One that is nurturing and warm and not cold and ruthless.
The way Saturn appears in your life can vary depending on the house and sign, but wherever Saturn is, approach that area of life with more softness and less rigidness. Be more forgiving and understanding. Be more affectionate and less violent.
Example:
-if you have saturn in gemini, be kind to yourself for not knowing certain things, and speak your truth, there are people out there that want and need to hear what you have to say. And find ways to educate yourself so you feel competent mentally. Take online courses, read as much as you can, and don't be afraid to learn new things.
-if you have saturn in virgo practice breathwork, slow down and try not to overanalyze. Maybe your father figure was hypercritical. You may be hard on yourself about details but try to look at the big picture as well.
-if you have sun-saturn aspects you may feel like your sense of self worth is only there if you put in some kind of labor or effort. But just know that you are always intrinsically valuable and you don't have to anything to prove your worthiness. You already hold value, but it's up to you to see that.
Whatever sign your saturn is in, create a softer approach to the things associated with that sign, and the house as well.
The Moon
Ah yes, the moon, the planet of emotions. A lesson to be learned is not to repress your emotions, but to express them in way that supplements your way of life without harming others (such as taking anger out on other people who didn't do anything wrong). Whatever house your moon is in can also bring a lot of fulfillment and it can create a source of deep inspiration. When you feel the most fulfilled and happy you can attract the most abundance. And supplementing your moon, aka your desire and passion, is the way to go.
Examples:
-if you have moon in 6th you probably feel the most inspired when you help people heal themselves and it may bring you happiness to do so.
-if you have moon in 3rd you may feel fulfilled just having people hear what you have to say, as you have so much information to give. Writing and making content for people may give you a lot of inspiration and happiness. Whatever it is, make your voice heard!!
-if you have moon in 11th you may want to do something big to serve mankind. Maybe something like charity work or volunteering. Or maybe you want to help a collective of people solve some kind of problem. You have big desires and maybe even a thirst for fame. Helping humanity in some way may be your emotional calling.
Create a hobby (if you haven't already) relating to the house of your moon to generate more passion in your life.
I want to write more about the other placements, but I'll continue this later probably.

Note
so, what makes some publications think andromeda starlight is a cult/company/whatever. asking so i can understand how to avoid misinformation of course
Hoo boy.
It is alleged by some groups that Andromeda Starlight, while they do teach and support effective and sustainable astrologically based witchery, their leadership structure resembles a pyramid structure. It is also alleged by some that while Andromeda Starlight has among its ranks many famous movie stars, musical artists, and important figures, their fees and tithe structures are designed to extract more money than they should from all levels of their membership.
I would never allege either of these things, because Andromeda Starlight is a valued member of the extranormal community, funding many creative projects, charities, and other institutions especially on the west coast - and it is not an allegation to say they have very good lawyers.

modern Frenchie headcanons
he's really into astrology. he will not use co-star, on account of the AI (powered by demons), but has a paid CHANI membership. he's a pisces. haven't gone so far as to make up moon/rising/venus, but if someone else has please tell me. gemini is definitely somewhere prominent in his chart.
my Frenchie is usually trans. I think his transition was a little nonstandard, in that he just started presenting differently and taking T and didn't really tell anyone what was up except in cryptic ways ("as we all know, the fairies dictate my wardrobe choices" and "yeah that's the medicine that's fixing the flow of qi in my body").
it took a long time for Frenchie to be okay with talking on cell phones, given the radiation, but he can now. he's one of those people who only takes calls on speaker, though, to keep the radiation away from his brain.
he is a legitimately horrifying driver.
he and Roach were in a longterm relationship at one point. no one really knows what that was like, but they're still pals. most friends assume Frenchie is into some weird shit, given being with Roach and his general Frenchiness. they are not wrong.
he went to college for like a semester. authoritarian structures and Frenchie don't get along, so he dropped out. he got into a lot of arguments with professors.

Uranus in Taurus: Everything You Need to Know
Since 2018, Uranus has been transiting Taurus, shaking up and challenging the status quo of the world (literally). But this transit, which extends into 2026, has also been revolutionizing a specific area of life for YOU. Uranus, the planet of revolution and sudden, shocking change, has been retrograde in Venus-ruled Taurus since Aug. 2023, and it stations direct on Jan. 27. While there is some debate about just how much outer planet retrogrades and direct motions impact you, I’m certain it’s a transit worth your attention. Because it signals a shift: Uranus is once more (and with a bull-like tenacity) encouraging you, me, and everyone around us to break from the routine, and change your approach to money, possessions, and overall comfort.
Shocking as it may sound, I haven’t written much about Uranus. Sure, I’ve written about the less-discussed aspects of Uranus—Uranus Dominance, Uranus as a “higher octave” planet—and I write about Uranus any time I notice the outer planet is making any intriguing moves, but as far as far as Uranus in Taurus go? That has somehow, and for some reason, escaped my purview. Until now. Uranus in Taurus Meaning in Astrology & Horoscope
Uranus Meaning in Astrology
As ruler of Aquarius and the 11th House, Uranus is the planet of progress, revolution, and invention. The outer planet shares its name and mythological roots with Ouranos, a figure from ancient Greek mythology. Ouranos, often referred to as the god of the sky, was a primordial deity and the personification of the heavens. The connection between Uranus in astrology and Ouranos in mythology reflects the archetypal essence of liberation, innovation, and cosmic upheaval. Ouranos played a crucial role in the generational saga of the Titans, and his influence can be seen in the dynamic and transformative nature of the planet Uranus.
Just as Ouranos brought about profound change in the mythological narrative, astrological Uranus carries a similar revolutionary energy. As the planet of disruption, revolution and innovation, Uranus wants to shake you up, wake you up, and free you from the outdated patterns, relationships, and/or pursuits that have become stagnant. Stagnation, tradition, and the status quo are prime targets for Uranus’ shocking energy.
Uranus isn't just about chaos, though, and its disruptive energy serves a greater purpose; Uranus is an illuminator, casting an unignorable light on innovative paths, and urging you towards unconventional breakthroughs. In its simplest, rawest form, Uranus fosters meaningful changes. (in the birth chart, Uranus represents your uniqueness, brilliance, and innovative qualities.) Because Uranus thrives in the realm of the unconventional, celebrating individuality, this planet's rebellious spirit aligns perfectly with the progressive vibes of Aquarius and the 11th House, fostering a cosmic kinship that encourages you to question, challenge, and innovate.

I've been missing the time I had my own astrology website and was writing and posting there, so much so that I'm starting to consider doing it again to dive deep into the astrology of problems with the appearance and relationships (or some other stuff maybe) like in this and this post. Possibly do some Q&As too.
How many of you would be interested in a site like this? An exclusive membership site (membership will probably be around 5-10 euro/month) to cover stuff like this that you can't read about anywhere?
Leave a comment here or send a PM, I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Robert's Rules - Constitution & Bylaws
I've just done my fourth or fifth deep-read of Robert's Rules of Order, originally published in 1876, and lately (2020) published in the 12th edition newly revised. I found so many gems for future magical practice. As I read, I attached these little tabs to the book.
Tumblr media
One of them is something that I wish more magical groups knew: that there's a formal framework called a Constitution and Bylaws for defining the framework of a voluntary association (like a temple or a lodge or a druid grove or an astrologer's circle or a coven).
Writing a Constitution and Bylaws doesn't actually obligate your group to file articles of incorporation, or put in filing fees with your state or get a tax ID number (in the US, at least), as long as no money changes hands. It's just a guide to how you're planning on running things. If you decide to file paperwork later, you need a Corporate Charter which probably needs to be drafted by a lawyer.
The Constitution and Bylaws is nine (and a half) articles long:
Article I - The name of the organization
Article II - the purpose of the organization.
Article III - The Members - who are they, what are their rights and duties, how do they join, how do they leave.
Article IV - The Officers - who are they, what are their rights and duties, how are they elected, what do they have to do, how long do they serve, how do you replace them? (Most groups need three - a president, a VP of some kind and a Secretary... give 'em any title you like, but those are their functions).
Article V - Meetings - What kinds of meetings are there (usually either a. program, b. regular business, c. special business, or d. emergency business), who gets to decide when they happen, how far in advance do you have to inform members that there's a meeting, what can happen at each kind of meeting, how the date-time-place confluence is chosen, when those date-time-place elements can change, who can change them, and most importantly, what's Quorum or the minimum membership for a meeting's actions to be valid.
Note -- a program meeting is one at which there is a ritual or educational event, but no business (i.e., no money is spent or collected, no votes are held, no discussion of business is made. Regular Meetings are for money/discussion/voting. Special Meetings are for issues that will take a long time; Emergency Meetings are when the floor of your meeting place caves in and you have to decide what to do about it right now while meeting at a different place than usual.
Article VI - Executive Committee - Who's on it, how often do they meet, what can they do without the permission of the members, and what their quorum is when meeting on their own.
Article VII - Committees - in addition to the executive committee, what other committees exist, and how does someone get on them? What do they do, and who (on the executive committee) leads them? Are special committees (ad-hoc) allowed, and if so who appoints them, and how is their business handled?
Article VIII - Parliamentary Authority - if the group has a weird situation come up that might be solved by referencing a manual on group procedure (like Robert's Rules of Order), what book will be used?
Article VIII.5 - (this is the half-article). ANYTHING ELSE that your group thinks belongs in the bylaws.
Article IX — Amendments — when you want to change any of the preceding articles, how do you do it? Usually the requirement is a minimum number of days written notice (plus whether it has to be via USPS, email, etc) of a meeting at which the discussion and vote will be taken + the exact wording of the change you want to make and where in the constitution and bylaws + the minimum number of members who have to vote for the change expressed as a fraction, e.g., 2/3s majority of members, for it to occur.
And you might look at this all, and think, wow, that's way too much business for me and the folks I do spiritual work with. But Henry Martyn Robert wrote Robert's Rules of Order in part so that Americans would learn how to conduct themselves as citizens in citizen-led meetings, using a shared set of guidelines and principles. This is a grimoire quite unlike any you've ever worked with, because it not only teaches you how to organize people... it shows you how to run the government(s) you live under.

this one looks good
The event was the 28th International Vedic Astrology Conference, which took place in Kolkata, India, from January 30 – February 4, 2018. The conference was held under the auspices of the Krishnamurti Institute of Vedic Culture for Public Welfare.
This year was unique because there was an open call for speakers, and more than 40 western astrologers gave talks at the conference.
On February 1, Glenn Perry gave a 30-minute presentation at the conference, arguing that the tropical zodiac is the one true zodiac and the sidereal zodiac is wrong. This presentation was given to an audience of Indian astrologers, where the sidereal zodiac has been the primary reference system for centuries.
The talk was widely viewed as disrespectful, both by Indian and western astrologers who attended the conference, not so much for the points argued in the talk but instead due to the tone, which came off as mean-spirited and divisive in what was otherwise set up as a more conciliatory east meets west conference.
There was a lot of discussion about the talk online after it occurred, and a number of people filed complaints with the International Society for Astrological Research (ISAR), since Perry was representing them at the conference as their ethics chair, research director, and longtime board member.
As a result of the controversy and subsequent complaints from the membership, he was eventually given an ultimatum by the ISAR board to either step down as ethics chair, or leave the board entirely, and he chose to leave the board.
some of u are dangerous "one reality" people...
