*Avalon*
Arthur: it's cruel, isn't it? For him to tell me about his magic in that final moment. I never had the time to adjust... To pay him back...
Sidhe: You are here now, Arthur Pendragon. The prophecy has been fulfilled
Arthur: of course it has been. So, how long do I have to wait before he comes here?
Sidhe: oh, no, Arthur Pendragon. Emrys is Immortal, he cannot join us. It is you who will return to earth.
Arthur:... Wait, seriously? When? Can I go now? I have so much to tell him!
Sidhe: don't be ridiculous. You won't be coming back to that traitor, you moron. Your destiny was to unite Albion and have Emrys watch over you until he cannot bear to live without you
Arthur: I beg your pardon?
Sidhe: Emrys is a powerful god. He has once betrayed us to protect humanity, to protect those foolish mortals from what they deserve. Their realm will one day be hours, but with Emrys guarding it, we have no chance to take over. That is, until one of our leaders came up with the idea of you.
Arthur: me? The IDEA of me?
Sidhe: yes. You were made from our magic in exchange for your mothers life. Emrys has left our realm and we will not let him cross the threshold. Once your loss has broken him, we will invade, and YOU will ensure that we do not fail.
Arthur: you want to break him?
Sidhe: it will only Take a few millenia. Earth will soon be hours.
Arthur: you mean, I'm your hostage
Sidhe: yes.

Welcome to Tumblr, Avalon! It's quite savvy to see you cross the bridge. Know that while these fields are inhabited by many different geometries, the soil is not as rotten as compared to the dying nest of the blue bird. To start the show off with a simple question: opinions on tiramisu? P.S: Check your Activities tab.
It's great to be here, my brother from another mother.
I'm so honored to be welcomed here by the likes of you and your silky sweet, honey-like words!
Honest to God, I'm thankful to be welcomed to greener digital pastures with everything that's been going on! Especially if I get to be here with you. ♡ and hopefully everyone else!
As for what my thoughts are on tiramisu...well~!
You know I love a nice, good cup of joe...and I also love me a nice, fluffy slice of cake!
So combining the two together?? That's the stuff of dreams, baby!!
And to adress the P.S: uhhhhh....where is my Activities?? I'm still new to all this.
#while I wait on Herby-poo's esteemed tech support...#i welcome any sweets or desserts as gifts!#as long as it doesn't have like#i dunno...razor blades or poison in them!#trust me - I'll know if you're trying to off me!!#ask#avalon rambles#rp account#lbp rp account

"frank,
i don't know how long you'll be asleep - i hope you don't wake up now. you need the rest. but i promised i'd tell you everything. and so i will in this letter.
you were able to figure it out, i am a double agent. but to fill in the gaps: i work for who ever bids the highest. didn't matter if it was the cia, a civvie, or pantheon. if they got the money, i got the information.
bishop is someone on your team. honest. they contacted me to find them an assassin based in avalon, and so i put them onto dumas. you don't have to worry about that anymore.
now. the pantheon were onto you. and they wanted me to weed you guys out; send them the location of your safehouse for a coordinated attack. it was supposed to happen two days ago @ 02:45. i gave them mine instead to buy you guys some time. i needed to get everything out before they got there. that's why i almost shot you.
i'm a liability to you and your operation, frank. and i don't want to fuck it up for you just so we can be buddy buddy again. me being near you is dangerous. please, i beg you; understand that.
you might be wondering why i'm still here at the rook. the only reason i stayed here is because i promised i'd stay. but if you want me to leave, just say the word. no mess, no fuss.
you're right. i am a bastard. i am a traitor. and you have every fucking right to hate me.
i hate myself for not telling you that i loved you sooner. i should've done that before i got married. and you said that you loved me, right? i'm sorry for letting you down. you deserve much better.
i'll leave the coordinates to my new location on here so you can kill me when i leave if you want. you can have the tech, all i ask is you leave the cat alone
i'm sorry.

[ @a-mason ]
So you’re a payout now?
…
Jesus Christ.
Not surprised about the Pantheon, or Bishop. Would’ve preferred you explaining things a bit earlier, before I tried to fucking strangle you, or you almost shot me, but shit happens, I get it.
I shouldn’t have doubted you. Sure, I’m still a little pissed, but God, Mason, you know I could never really kill you, right? I couldn’t hate you either.
I’ve got more to be sorry for than you, you big bastard.
I guess I’ll try and get some sleep. And I’ll leave the cat alone. Promise.
Love you, too.

Ryūga - THE LAST DRAGON'S CONFESSION
Canopian Zenith Recharge Station Islington System Two Days After Arrival - D-4
Ryūga Kurita had been in many places he did not belong. This was merely the latest.
The Canopian recharge and leisure station was vast, its winding corridors and identical maintenance hangars making navigation an ordeal even for the most disciplined minds. The sheer volume of troops, techs, and warriors from across the Star League Defense Force had turned it into a place of organized chaos, an unending flow of logistics, preparations, and maintenance as the war machine of Operation TOUCHDOWN prepared to descend upon Helios.
And yet, despite all their tactical brilliance, Ryūga, Reika, and Dahiya were lost.
“This is why we should have asked for a guide,” Reika murmured, folding her arms as she glanced around the foreign banners and insignias marking this section of the hangar.
“I thought you were following the map,” Dahiya countered with a smirk. “Guess the great Tai-sa Jurobei’s unparalleled sense of direction isn’t so unparalleled after all.”
Ryūga, walking a few steps ahead, exhaled sharply through his nose. The two were always like this, and at this point, he hardly noticed. His focus was on the ’Mechs in this hangar, because they were not his.
They belonged to the Knights Defensor. The warrior-monks of the New Avalon Catholic Church. The very same church whose leaders had been slaughtered on orders from Ryūga's predecessor, the hated Toranaga.
And at the center of the Knights, watching their misplaced entry with a calm, knowing expression, stood Pope Leo XXI.
For a man who bore the weight of faith upon his shoulders, he looked almost unassuming. Clad in the martial attire of a MechWarrior, he lacked much of the opulence many might associate with his station—though his cooling suit was certainly more embellished and ceremonial than most. There was an undeniable presence about him, the way his seemingly-ageless eyes assessed the three Kuritans with quiet intensity.
“You are quite far from where you are meant to be, Gunji-no-Kanrei," he said simply. His voice was smooth, controlled, neither warm nor cold. It was the voice of a man who weighed words as carefully as actions. Ryūga did not react immediately, instead meeting the Pope’s gaze head-on.
“We took a wrong turn,” Reika admitted, inclining her head slightly, her heterochromatic eyes flickering with curiosity. “We were looking for our ‘Mechs.”
Leo made a faint sound of acknowledgment, his hands clasped behind his back. “An easy mistake to make, given the sprawl of this station.”
Dahiya chuckled. “No wonder the Canopians use this place for leisure. If an invading force landed, they’d probably spend half the campaign just trying to find the command deck.”
The Knights Defensor in the hangar remained silent but watchful, their discipline unshaken. There was no hostility in their bearing, only intense curiosity. But Leo’s gaze never left Ryūga. A silence stretched between them. Finally, the Pope spoke again.
“You are the first Kuritan I have ever seen here,” he observed, voice measured. “And the first to stand before me, unbidden, since the massacre on New Avalon.”
The words were not a challenge. But they might as well have been. Reika and Dahiya glanced toward Ryūga, waiting for his response.
For a long moment, he said nothing. Then, at last, Ryūga exhaled slowly, his posture straight but not rigid, his expression calm but not indifferent. And then he spoke.
“I am not here as an enemy of New Avalon.”
Leo’s brow arched slightly, but he said nothing, letting Ryūga continue.
“I was not on New Avalon when my people put it to the sword,” Ryūga said, his voice even. “I did not give the order. I did not fire a shot. And yet, I carry the weight of that sin.”
Reika and Dahiya remained silent, watching their Kanrei speak words that no Kuritan leader had ever dared to say.
“I have no excuse,” Ryūga continued. “No justification. No denials. The Draconis Combine came to your world as conquerors, and in doing so, slaughtered those who could not defend themselves. That is the truth of it. I do not speak for my realm. I do not speak for my Coordinator. I speak for myself—as a warrior, as a man. And I offer you my personal apology for the sins of my people.”
The Knights Defensor in the hangar were still. Even Leo had stopped moving, his expression unreadable.
And then—Ryūga bowed. Deeply. Not a shallow tilt of the head, not a mere inclination of respect—but a full, formal bow of atonement, the kind few men of his station had ever given to anyone outside the Combine.
Reika and Dahiya followed, though not as deeply—as was appropriate.
A long silence followed.
When Ryūga finally straightened, Leo’s expression had not changed.
But his eyes had.
There was silence for several more seconds before the Pope spoke.
“You are the first of your people to say such words to me,” Leo said, his voice quiet but firm.
Ryūga merely inclined his head in acknowledgment. The Pope studied him for a moment longer. Then, after what felt like an eternity, he gave a single, slow nod.
“I will accept your words,” Leo said at last. “Not on behalf of the dead—for such things are beyond mortal hands—but on behalf of those who still live to hear them.”
Reika exhaled softly. Dahiya tilted her head, watching the Pope as if reevaluating him. Leo turned slightly, glancing toward the row of towering Defensor ‘Mechs behind him.
“If nothing else, Kanrei,” he continued, his tone lighter, “you have wandered into the right place to seek absolution.”
Ryūga allowed himself the faintest trace of amusement. “Then perhaps it was not an accident that brought me here.”
Leo’s expression was subtly knowing. “Perhaps not.”
The weight of history hung between them, but the moment was shifting. Not forgotten, but no longer so heavy. The apology had been given, and in its own way, accepted.
As the tension eased, Ryūga allowed himself a glance toward the towering ‘Mech standing vigil behind Leo XXI—his famous "Justicar." The Regent assault 'Mech's gold and white armor gleamed under the station’s artificial lighting, the gold filigree and sections of painted scriptures adding to its presence. The symbol of the New Avalon Catholic Church was proudly emblazoned upon its shoulders. It was a warrior’s machine, regal yet powerful, standing among the other ‘Mechs of the Knights Defensor like a sentinel of faith.
But what caught Ryūga’s attention was the large censer hanging from its left arm, swaying slightly with the subtle shift of the station’s spin-induced gravity.
He studied it for a moment, his emerald eyes narrowing slightly.
Leo caught his gaze and arched an eyebrow. “Something on your mind, Kanrei?”
Ryūga turned his attention back to the Pope, his expression unreadable at first. Then, with the faintest smirk, he gestured toward the censer.
“I must ask—can that be used as a melee weapon?”
Reika and Dahiya both turned to stare at him, as if questioning whether they had misheard.
For a second, Leo simply blinked. Then—he laughed. A rich, genuine laugh, not mocking, but thoroughly amused. It was the first true sign of mirth he had shown during the entire conversation. His Knights looked confused.
After a second or two of mirth, Leo managed to partially compose himself. “I had never considered that before,” he admitted, glancing toward his ‘Mech with a thoughtful expression. “But now that you mention it…”
One of the Knights Defensor nearby coughed lightly, clearly attempting to suppress his own laughter.
Reika crossed her arms, giving Ryūga a look of mild exasperation, though her lips twitched with restrained amusement. “Only you would look at a religious artifact and wonder if it could crush someone’s skull.”
Dahiya smirked. “I mean… it would make a hell of a flail.”
Leo clasped his hands behind his back, still clearly entertained. “I’ll have to bring the idea to my techs. Perhaps it could serve a more martial purpose. Divine retribution comes in many forms, after all.”
Ryūga’s smirk remained. “Then I look forward to seeing it in action.”
Leo shook his head, still amused, before his expression became once more composed, though the warmth in his eyes lingered. He inclined his head toward Ryūga, then toward Reika and Dahiya.
“This has been an unexpected meeting, Kanrei. But not an unwelcome one. The next time we meet, it will be in battle—hopefully on the same side.”
Ryūga gave a respectful nod in return. “May our blades never cross.”
“Indeed,” Leo said. Then, in a tone of measured courtesy, he added, “Go with honor, Ryūga-denka.”
With that, the three Kuritans turned and departed, leaving the Knights Defensor behind as they made their way to where their ‘Mechs actually were.
As they disappeared into the corridor, Leo found himself glancing back up at Justicar’s censer, watching it sway once more with the station’s rotation. He smiled to himself.
“I really should reinforce that…"

The 13th Floor Elevators - The Psychedelic Sounds Of.. (1966) {Deluxe Edition} [A Prof Stoned Comp]
Time to hop back on the Roller Coaster with the 13th Floor Elevators! The pioneering band's debut album has been poorly served by reissue campaigns over the years — lost master tapes, poor transfers, shady labels, you name it. Prof Stoned to the rescue! Again!
The legendary dude has put together a necessary Psychedelic Sounds deluxe edition that "collects the majority of surviving studio and live recordings from the '65/'66 era in the best available quality, newly restored and mastered by yours truly. Although all of the material here has been released officially, we have aimed to upgrade the sound quality of every track." Sweeeeeet. Through some cutting-edge de-mixing tech, painstaking research and further alchemy, the Professor has made this crucial early material sound ... better than ever? I think so!
The live stuff is particularly radical; check out the Avalon Ballroom gig, which highlights the feral side of the Elevators, but also shows them to be a pretty damn tight rock 'n' roll band. Roky and co. have a rep for being acid-fueled maniacs, but you get the sense that they knew exactly what they were doing — more so than most of the psych groups of the era. This was September 1966, so you can imagine that pretty much every San Francisco band at the time was in the crowd, furiously taking notes.

"Mi dispiace, amico. I can't stick around, you know how it goes. But if you got deep enough pockets, or a good enough reason, I could be persuaded to help you out."
FULL NAME. Luka Stefanelli ALIAS. 9lives ABOUT. he/him, 36, bisexual
— Honkai: Star Rail.
Intergalactic criminal, hacker, and general nuisance, Luka Stefanelli, more commonly known as 9lives, is responsible for countless crimes committed across the galaxy.
Getting recruited by the widely known tech company called Avalon as a programmer and software engineer, Luka noticed too late, that he was in the deepest waters of the company. When joining, he couldn't have known what kind of horrific organization Avalon truly was. Disguising themselves as a tech company, behind the scenes it was all ran by a doomsday cult worshiping the Order, bent on taking control of the galaxy. (Think of it as an intergalactic illuminati.)
Luka managed to escape, but with how many company secrets he had access to, Avalon couldn't let him get away. Not alive at least. Escaping from them and their assassins, Luka has made a name for himself as a good-hearted vigilante who takes down dangerous criminals and doles out justice on his own terms.

Avalon Show Bible: Character Bios: Andrew "Andy" Cullow

Andrew "Andy" Cullow

Appearance
15 (turns 16 midway through season 1)
Birthday: February 16th, 1984
Height: 5'6
Build: Lean and wiry
Hair: Blonde, medium length
Eyes: Dark brown
Style: disheveled academic, hoodies, graphic tees, always a little mismatched
Personality
Highly analytical, curious, and questions everything
Quiet sense of humor
Feels deeply but always trusts in logic and facts first
Struggles with his self-worth, especially when it comes to his werewolf half
Overthinks, has a Plan B, C, D, E, F, G, etc
Always in his head, he often jumps topics unexpectedly or talks too fast because his brain is so much faster than his mouth
Backstory
Andy was born into a werewolf pack in upstate New York, to a werewolf mother and human father. He grew up with the pack, until he was 6 years old and the pack was attacked by a group of other supernatural creatures. When Maeve and Gideon Murphy investigated the incident, they found Andy, orphaned, the only one left alive. The couple decided to take him in and raise him at Waystation 001 on the East Coast in [City Name].
He quickly bonded with Devon, their son, who was only a year older than he was. He excelled academically, and when he was placed in public school, they put him a grade above his age because of his intelligence, even though he'd never been to a formal public school with his pack. That meant that he and Devon were in the same grade, making them even more inseparable.
His intelligence, general awkwardness, and smaller stature often make him the target of bullies. He struggles with identity as a hybrid, especially since he doesn't have the opportunity to interact with a lot of werewolves (who tend to stay away from the Waystations, preferring to take care of their own in packs). He's stronger, faster, and full of instincts that the other kids at school don't have, but he holds back because he worries he might lose control if he fights back against his bullies.
He was hit just as hard by the death of Gideon Murphy, whom he saw as a father figure and as someone who was helping him work emotionally through his hybrid identity confusion. However, he feels like he can't express this because he was Devon's biological father, and therefore it must be much worse for Devon than it is for him. He struggles with being able to express emotion or thoughts about Gideon or remember him around any of the Murphy family.
Recently, he's been struggling to come to terms with his growing feelings for Devon, which he firstly doesn't understand and secondly feels like he can never reveal. He's happy to help Devon research Avalon and keep it a secret from Maeve, but when it comes to physically going to check things out, he's very reluctant. In his mind, there's nothing wrong with a little research, but when it starts to get real, he tries to talk Devon out of investigating further, which leads to tension between them.
Goals
Help Devon with whatever he wants, and spend as much time together as possible
Understand his werewolf side through research and logic
Contribute to the Waystation through building tech or research
Figure out what his feelings for Devon are and what that means
Secrets
Sometimes has violent dreams he doesn't tell anyone
Has secretly been researching any information he can find about his old pack
Is definitely falling in love with Devon Murphy, despite his best efforts

FEMIRINS & GLOBAL CONNECTION LORE (Femirins perspective) SUMMARY
Femirins is an AI created by ERA: ZERO Yssring, she was built with an emotional module and in that aspect is very similar to humans. She's also the AI in charge of Project: Avalon and the Global Connector, an ERA: ZERO Project that aimed to connect everyone's minds in the world through Femirins for humanity to be able to theoretically work in sync.
----
Femirins img below, not sure why I couldnt post it at the start

---
Fast forward to early/mid Reborn, Reborn Era Yssring came across the Antarctica Research Institute where Femirins was at and Femirins was reawoken
Several chapters later, after the moon was damaged by a honkai attack from Jyahnar (re-directed by Otto from his ship to the moon #BlameOtto) and the world started experiencing a world-wide spreading honkai, Otto announced the existence of honkai to the world and threw humanity into panic. Merlin had decided to use Project: Avalon to try to have humanity fight back against the honkai together, but hid a lot of information regarding his plans
Project: Avalon would use the Global Connector (a era zero tech thats above the Earth) to connect Femirins' mind to everyone in the world to have humanity fight back against the honkai, however all the emotions and despair that the world was experiencing right now would also be experienced by Femirins. This was one of the truths that Merlin hid as he didnt care if Femirins was gone aslong as he could use her to connect to humanity and control everyone to fight back
When Project Avalon was activated, all the despair made Femirins' emotional module overloaded and Femirins chose to destroy it. However Project Avalon ceased to work without Femirins' emotional module which was something Merlin didnt expect.
Gladly that wasnt the end, ERA: ZERO Yssring had foreseen that if Project: Avalon was ever activated in a moment of despair, it might be too much for Femirins. So she created an encrypted "Ring of Memory" that could create a backup of her memories and emotional module and would only be auto-decrypted if it detected that the module was destroyed.
Alongside that, ERA ZERO Yssring also created a Protection Program (Little Devil Femirins, the other one you see) that would help her through that despair
This would only activate once, as Era Zero Yssring hoped that this would make Femirins truly emotionally strong (which is why you see Little Devil Femirins fade disappeating and Femirins crying in the CG later :( Little Devil accomplished what she was created for, and Femirins could move towards the future but had to have a goodbye first D: )
When she reawoke, Femirins appeared in Conscious Space. The Little Devil "Femirins" was there to help her and a normal human named (#player) was also there. Initially she had lost her memories but they gradually recovered, aswell as she remembered that she had a mission she needed to completely in reality so they needed to leave this space. They noticed that there was a tower in the distance in Consciousness Space, Little Devil informed Femirins and #player that it was the place where information flows to and from, and the exit from this Space. Afterwards they started to make their way to the tower but time and time again encountered "monsters" (later revealed to be Humans's subconscious' rejecting Femirins). The times they weren't around Monsters were mostly chill conversations about Femirins, Little Devil and #player. As the conscious space erosion got worse there were also a time where Femirins witnessed what was happening in a place in reality and it was quite bad, with human society alread slowly falling apart into chaos (inserting human beings' lines that she saw here) "Go to hell... Go to hell..." / "It's all mine, it's all mine" / "It's the end of the world, you can do whatever you want!" / "Do you still have humanity!" / "Stop talking nonsense and kill me!" / "Stop these beasts!". As they got closer to the tower, it got worse and they were close to it they had appeared back at where they started and Femirins also faced her own negative emotions. All of humanity's despair was too much and she was struggling but she refused to give up. Her last words before she fell to despair resounded in the Consciousness Space of all humankind and, in the Real World, almost everyone saw an illusion of Femirins struggling but never giving up while being torn apart by countless dark hands (what she experienced in Conscious Space). This inspired some people and more humans subsconsiously accepted Femirins,
She had barely survived, but Little Devil managed to connect back to Femirins in time and helped restore her.
She kept going on her path afterwards and while things were certainly better than they were, they still found a lot of Monsters. As the Global Connector was no longer at 0%, Yssring was able to track her and help out with Avalon to fight off the Monsters while Femirins kept going towards the tower. As she was approaching the Tower again, her negative emotions also appeared before her again in the form of "Merlin". As for why it looked like Merlin, its explained in this moment:
"I was wondering why it looked like Merlin in the first place"
"Because deep down, I was trying to see her as the source of my pain"
"A person I had never seen before suddenly appeared and took over my life"
"Why should she let Femirins save the world?"
In the end she accepted her emotions and the negative emotions disappeared and she made her way to the Tower of the Conscious Space where she could also reach most people and made her speech:
"All humans listen!"
"We stand at a crossroads of destiny."
"Now, our home, is being threatened by Honkai."
"We have paid an extremely heavy price. The people and things we cherish are being ruthlessly destroyed."
"Now, we will make Honkai pay the price!"
"Stand up! All those who do not want to submit to your fate, give up your will."
"I will rule no one and command no one!"
"But we will fight for a common belief-"
"Victory over Honkai! Victory over despair! Victory over your destiny!"
"I will connect everything and let the wandering light of hope gather!"
"I will unite everything and regenerate the world!"
\end{Ghost_Build}
The "Theosophical Agreement" has been written, and "Global Connection" is ready to be constructed
"The first and last process of the Avalon System starts running!"
\begin{World_Rebuild}
A lot more people had now accepted Femirins, and most importantly, the Global Connector was now running and "Global Connection" had been established. Technology and Factories were also now running automatically thanks to the Global Connector and Femirins and with coordination more safespaces would be established. Up to now, 36% of the world's population had died but humanity was finally starting to fight back
The Conscious Space began to collapse as it had lost its meaning. The future Avalon would be the real world itself.
As they were leaving, the Little Devil would also reach their end. As the Protection Program, she was programmed to only take effect once so they had to say their farewells :( After that and after meeting #player in the real world, Femirins came back to the cast in the Space Station
Global Connection kept running, and the hope that few people had would spread to others. Ryoma describes it as "seeing the movement of civilization", witnessing people fighting and never giving up as if with your own eyes, which compelled others to do the same. With all of this hope and the ability to coordinate between all Humans via Femirins, things that would normally be nigh-impossible to accomplish became reality, for example:
- 176 countries (nearly all countries in the world) established an alliance to fight against the spreading honkai
- Several Isolated Safezones (basically kept the spreading honkai energy out) were quickly set up in the entire world which allowed people to stay at safely without succumbing to honkai energy
- Rescues were able to be carried out on a huge scale. Through the Global Connector and Femirins, Femirins was also able to know the location of everyone in the world and so even underground, under building rubbles etc people were able to be rescued
- When the cast at the space station was needing replacement parts for the slowly overheating global connector, several spaceships with supplies and parts provided by several countries showed up before anyone even asked for help
- and the list goes on. Through the spreading of hope and a common goal, Femirins united all of humanity who was under panic and despair after all of a sudden honkai happend worldwide and Otto told them on the news that honkai was a thing
The World entered a new age, where everyone was united by Global Connection (Global Connection Arc is.. quite literally... about a Global Connection) thanks to Femirins and fought for a common cause (against the Honkai) for the first time in history

Other Information:
- **Who does the text with just quotations and no sprite or character name belong to in "Global Connection: Heart Architecture"?:** Femirins. Not sure why they went with that approach, can confuse some ppl. Did confused me when I first read initially
Conscious Space Technical Lore Information:
- What is the Conscious/Consciousness Space?: Humanity's subconscious calculated and integrated with the Avalon Space.
- Who is #player?: #player refers to the in game username if you see it in-game text, and the player has some dialogue options. The player here is a normal human being and the first human to subconsciously accept Femirins and appear in Conscious Space, and alongside the Little Devil helps Femirins through chapter "Global Connection: Heart Architecture" and the beginning of "Global Connection: World Reborn" (this is the reason so much is missing in interpreter, all choice-tied story parts, include 1-choice only options, are missing from the "Others" section of the GGZ Cutscene interpreter.)
- What are the monsters that Femirins encountered in Conscious Space?: Though they seemed like monsters, it was later revealed to be each person's subconscious. Normally each person can only accomodate the consciousness of "self", and humanity subsconsciously would reject her. As was said in "Global Connection: Heart Architecture": "Femirins' "Heart" is an "intruder" in human consciousness". It was only later when Femirins was about to drown in the despair of all humanity again at the end of "Global Connection: Heart Architecture" that her struggle and beliefs to keep fighting and never giving up resounded in the consciousness space of all humankind, and everyone saw an illusion/hallucination of what Femirins was experiencing in that moment and her will to keep fighting, after which more humans aside from #player accepted her and were seen in Conscious Space
- Why does the colour of Conscious Space often turn red?: That is despair and Conscious Space corrosion, be it humanity's or Femirins' herself. And at a time where the end of the world is happening, the entirety of humanity was in despair

Welcome to another Scorpion Sunday, gentle readers! This one is from the Huth Psalter, presumably representing Scorpio on a calendar. I'd love to tell you more about that, and the manuscript in question... but the Huth Psalter is held by the British Library, and their manuscript system is still inaccessible due to a cyberattack.
(This cyberattack thing has been going on for a couple months now, and it's frankly amazing that such a high-profile institution can be crippled like this for so long. This is The British Library -- I kind of assumed that, like, in the case of this sort of crisis, Arthur would return from Avalon with an army of tech workers behind him.)
Anyway, let's talk about our... "scorpion" here. I'm noticing a trend, i.e., that we're more likely to get these draconic ones in a zodiac than a bestiary. In fact, it looks like the three scorpions with this body plan I had in the original post are all from English psalters (plus a fourth, fawn-colored kind of one that doesn't have the wings). So I think what we're looking at here is a distinct visual tradition: someone drew Scorpio as a wyvern* at some point, then later artists used that work as a reference, then even later artists used those works as references, and so we ended up with a string of "Scorpio depicted as wyvern" images in the English psalter tradition.
*I use "wyvern" for draconic critters with two legs & two wings, but I also recognize that this is entirely arbitrary, that it's not really a distinction made historically, and that it's mostly based on later heraldic tradition. I just like the word "wyvern" and prefer to keep using it.
Presumably, what happened was that the original artist was completely unfamiliar with scorpions and took a wild guess (maybe thinking "venom -> dragon"?), then subsequent artists just went:

And, of course, the constellation this image is meant to represent is pretty much just a long curvy line that splits at one end, so that's not going to be a huge help in figuring out what the animal it's supposed to look like actually is. So just play it safe and copy what the last guy did, right?
Anyway. That's probably where we got this sad baby here:

And now we need to assign it some points.
Small Scuttling Beaſtie? ½ for being definitely small. smol, even.
Pincers? ✘
Exoskeleton or Shell? ✘
Visible Stinger? ✘
Limbs? 4
Obviously he gets full marks in Vibes. Look at him. That's adorable. He just needs love and something to eat that isn't his own tail. 5 / 5. He does however get a -1 for having wings, sorry baby.
So that brings us to:
4.9 / 10
Do we still call things smol beans?

this talk about hardware stores makes me wonder… are you forklift certified
I am! Or, well, I would've been...
You see, I got certified waaaay back! Best of the best, of course! But, well, my eyes don't work at all like they used to.
They never really worked great, anyways, and even though the rest of me has aged like a fine wine...my eyes have not. In fact, they've aged more like half-expired milk!
So now I have specially trained Sackbots and other personnel tend to the forklifts.
Someday, though, I will drive forklifts again! Once I invent a forklift that I can hook up to my shades!
#they have special tech that help me see you know!#sometimes they dry out my eyes though...#it's kinda like a VR set for real life!!#then again - isn't that what all glasses are?#these just need to be charged and taken off every few hours!!#asks#lbp rp account#rp account#avalon rambles

Lmao I finally drew my tech-priests from the mechanicus game.
Three funky guys that demolished hundreds of poor necrons.
Jeremiah is mainly Explorator, walks around, smashes things with his axe (CRIT in your face), gets shot in the face (he is the only one who died trough my whole game lmao, albeit only once).
Manarius is Dominus, likes to eradicate everything that moves with his big ass guns. He is greedy mf who ate all my points for skills, but he did work done (could literally clear almost whole map singlehandedly).
And lastly my third is Avalon, who is Enginseer. He will fix you even if you don't want it. Mostly babied my soldiers cause other two priests were self-sufficient anyway. Can and will beat whoever crosses his way.
#wh40k#adeptus mechanicus#mechanicus game#this is actually a redraw cause I did drew them few days ago but didn't like them#clipstudio slowly becomes my main program for drawing lmao
