Am i really the only one who thinks lost judgment chapter 7 was insane

#ive scrolled through here and twitter and even went to pixiv and im currently looking through the chinese fandom...#no one ever even mentions chapter 7 like so much stuff happens...#also ive barely seen anyone talking about akutsu at all but i think hes terrifying??? the scene were he says everyone is going to like #chop off parts of yagami with the chainsaw was crazy for rgg standards imo i was like !!!!!!! the entire time #of course at the end kaito and sugiura save the say but idk i thought it was very intense?#or the parts before/after that.. the tension w kuwana #soma using yagami as an example for the other rk thugs... yagami finding sawa and just breaking down #idk maybe its just me but i didnt expect NO ONE to mention anything at all? everyone always talks about the last chapter #and i dont blame them theyre the best the game has to offer but idk i feel crazy sometimes when i think about it #not a single fanfic or fanart or someome brainrotting about it here orz and im way too late to the party i aint gonna do it myself #rant

hey so do you think wtv keiko had to deal with growing up with yusuke could be considered a type of parentification

#god chapters where barely anything happens except a character's realization about things can be hard ...#im writing another keiko pov chapter and it's hard because well!!#keiko was never really a main focus in the series and as time goes on she gets even less of a focus so i have to fill in these spots #in her personality and views that aren't really explored. im taking a lot of liberties lets say #and idek if it's gonna read as in character cos of that #anyway im tryna say that like. pre series keiko was basically this presence in yusuke's life and he saw her as a pain but he cared #she was there to scold him and cajole him into going to his classes and she was his only friend #now we know atsuko was negligent and idk how involved the yukimuras were in his life but i feel like keiko #whether directly or indirectly was given this duty like you have to keep him outta trouble #you're smart you're mature he needs someone like you. this responsibility just kind of put on her before she can understand the weight of i #and she can't really comprehend that weight until it's abruptly taken from her. yusuke dies and there's no one to shepherd #i feel like keiko should get to be mad about this. this realization of the nature of their dynamic. keiko planning things around yusuke #who's never done that in his life. not because he's purposely being thoughtless but bc he was never the one to have to plan #to think about what their future looks like. he just kinda drifted along and keiko tried to do damage control. it wasn't fair #yusuke is keeping secrets from her she is scared of high school and that he'll die again without her knowing why and it's unfair #so she should get to be mad also because girls getting to be mad is one of my favorite things 👍🏼#the realization that yusuke won't be lost without her so she shouldn't hinge her life on the expectation that he will be #she worries about yusuke a lot i think. especially after he comes back from the dead. and i think kuwa's presence would help ease that #dread in her heart. it doesn't have to be just me. there's someone who can be there with him always and it doesn't have to be me #the guilty relief of not having to be the sacrifice. but kuwa doesn't mind so maybe it's okay this way #idk just rambles about my fic while i puzzle out how to word it #character analysis #yukimura keiko #yu yu hakusho

#yall think im joking but im not #can i complain for a second?#i think kaiju no. 8 is one of the most clear examples of shounen degredation that ive seen in something that hasnt been axed #ok so im caught up but i havent read the spinoff and like #who even are these character?#what do we know about kafka other than his motivations????#uhh hes middle aged and ummmm hes childhood friends with mina.......... uhhhhh hes nice?#yall its been 100 chapters #that extends to literally every character #boy son( reno) what do we know about him #we know his sad backstory but like we dont even know what he was doing prior to taking the exam #girl daughter (kikoru) we know more about but shes got other story problems #but i still dont think i could list anything other than her involvement with kaijus #it just feels like we've went from big action to big action and it feels hollow cuz i barely know these people #and i get it maybe we learn more about them from the spinoff #but i shouldnt have to read a spinoff.... to know the main character #after 100 chapters #and its really not even the authors fault #the character interactions we get? ARE GOOD #its just so apparent that this is what happens when you have to always be amping up the action to not get cancelled #we're losing so much #if you asked me who my favorite character was and what about them i liked i dont think i would be able to honestly answer #and thats sad #kaiju no. 8 #sorry this is a really complainy post i just i really wanted to like this manga #and its not even bad its just disapointing #on a brighter note after binging the whole thing in like a day i had a dream set in the universe #and it was like kafka and mina's relationship but instead of childhood friends it was 2 guys who were actually married #so it gave me that at least

i have no fucking clue how the cro.ss gui.ld polycule even gets together. i think i've already established that kittay and bu.ggy get together pretty soon after marine.ford, and for the purpose of [gestures vaguely] this i'd like to think that croco.dile and mi.hawk already had their own thing together by the time cro.ss gui.ld happened. but i have no idea how to connect those two. i KNOW i'll need to fix the shit that bu.ggy's followers do (the things that piss croco.dile and mi.hawk off like the poster and the ship) but i don't know what will work or how much changing those things will affect later events because i BARELY have anything to WORK WITH

#i want to say keep the poster (therefore keep emperor bu.ggy) but fix the ship #but them beating bu.ggy up over the ship is what leads to bu.ggy's whole speech and declaring that they're gonna go after the o.ne pie.ce #so like that seems important. i don't know if that could happen if i fix the ship #maybe if i'm lucky croco.dile and mi.hawk will eventually start to respect bu.ggy for whatever reason in canon #and then i won't HAVE to change anything if canon's already going my way #but like i said right now i barely have anything to work with. we have a grand total of Two cro.ss gui.ld chapters atm #and we have absolutely no idea when we'll get another chapter with them especially since there'll be a big break after the next one #kittay.post

#Putting these in tags cuz they're rather negative and like this people can ignore this if it shows up on search #anyways today i was showering and had a realization that like #if csm part 2 didn't exist and the manga had ended in chapter 97 i really wouldn't mind that. like at all #because so far there hasn't been anything in part 2 that stuck to me in such a way that i would be upset or miss it if it didn't exist #be it arcs world building (not big on religious allegories. that prophecy stuff really doesn't intrest me at all) or characters #in fact if it did end on the publig safety saga i probably would have liked it better #because then it would have ended and that's it. because part 2 exists i can see the story move foward #with the absence of almost everyone from part 1 and i just. miss them #so reading part 2 in general makes me inherently a little sad #and i feel like that's what blocks me from enjoying it or even growing to care for the new characters from part 2 #because i don't care for any of them that much. not even asa and yoru #and this isn't me being mad at the story for killing people off. i think all deaths in part 1 happened exactly where they needed to #and the story is beautifully crafted. i just genuinely miss them #and see denji staggering about looking so tired all the time barely looking like the same guy from part one due to everything that happened #that also makes me fell just. like this pain in my chest that i can't even explain well #i don't dislike part 2 i don't think it's bad #it's just not for me and i don't think that will change anytime soon #tho i will still look up the new chapters because i wanna see what happens. tho if there ever is a part 3 i doubt i will bother reading it #hyena ramblings #rant? i guess?

Ngl, I'm so done with this Shigaraki fight that I honestly don't care. I really want the story to move to a fresh perspective. It's been dragging enough.

After the War Arc being mainly about the pros, and in the VH Arc, most of Class A having been sidelined, I was really hoping in the endgame to spend more time with Class A interacting with the villains.

Instead, we only got extremely brief moments of highlight so far and again, we are stuck watching the same pros we did in the previous war arc. Like, I literally dgaf to see Endeavor fight, or BJ or Mirko, or any of the pros. The only kid on the Shigaraki battlefield is Bakugou and his been dead for 3 chapters and in any case, we know he'll be back. And I hate AFO and I’m bored to tears with his endless speeches on every battlefield about how he wants to write a fix-it for a comic he read a 100 years ago.

The pros have changed - blablabla - is a really tired, old theme. Mirko losing limbs - yawn. The hyped UA Big 3 never gets anything really done - what's new? AFO gloating - ok.

Like, I'm a bit scared if we go over to Deku, he's going to eat up all the focus again and we'll never get character moments for anyone else (unless in the big rush-style of back-to-back reveals post-Dabi dance).

My interest is in to have the kids get hype moments and good ways to close their arcs, and interact with each other, I’d like to have nice cameos from fave characters I haven't seen for a while and finally to get the villains saved.

But I suspect we can’t get on with saving the villains until MC-sama gives his go ahead. So probably, he’ll show up before we move elsewhere.

pet peeve of mine for any qrow "theories" for v9/10 is that people think he'll just go "welp, i guess they are all dead. that sure is a bummer! let's go tell tai that his kids are dead and i have no idea what happened" like he wouldn't dive directly into the tundra to find if there's any trace of the kids in there
