I love the idea of Cass enjoying dance. It's an outlet that allows her to express herself without words, and I think she would enjoy the highly technical aspect of ballet combined with its storytelling and emotional side. and as a former dancer I always have fun imagining my fav characters do ballet :)

moving abroad series part 5

my workout regimen

‘it's very hard to feel bad about a body that you take care of with patience, love and attention’

(I’m a 21 year old girl and my goals in terms of workouts are to keep myself lean, toned, healthy and happy)

lately I’ve felt like I’m getting closer to finding the perfect rotation of workouts for me

as a base, I always try to prioritise getting in at least a 10.000 steps/day - I know realistically it’s not always possible but that’s the goal

then every other day I’ll do a run - I alternate between 5-7k, interval-training and 10-15k depending on how I feel that day

yoga and stretching is something I try and do everyday but it’s especially important on running days

the days in between running-days I do pilates and weights, again adjusting the workout somewhat to what my body is comfortable with that day

I try to keep my diet high in protein, varied but with emphasis on nutritious food - yet non-restricted, as a complement to this

my wish is to go swim/cold plunge during the colder months at least once a week, preferably after having ran

rest and recovery is so important so occasionally I’ll allow myself rest days where I simply focus on getting my steps in and stretching/doing yoga for a bit

short answer: yes! but i always lose! :c

not even the devil could shake you the way saichi’s smile does— “come on, try to land a hit on me.” he pats his chest, then his arms, as if to warm up his body for what could be a very deadly hit.

“i could never even land a finger on you— have you seen yourself?” you shake your head viciously, tone sounding incredulous.

“i’ll go easyyy, that’s how much of a weakness you are to me. i promise . .” he mumbles the last bit a little too suspiciously that it makes you look at him funny.

“really, i do!” then as if to prove it, saichi’s defensive stance softens a bit— around the edges of his rigid back and around his thick shoulders, you can sense he’s released that energy of brute force as he shakes his head and wiggles his fingers.

so, you raise an arm, point two fingers— sniping it at his chest. and of course, saichi does not let you land a hit.

“god, i thought-” your other hand forms a gentle fist, swinging your arm at his body as the other hand molds the same way, “you said—”

and with the struggle showing on your face, saichi can only laugh— he can only smile so deeply that those secret dimples adorn the middle of his cheeks. “i said?”

he continues to swiftly move away from your weakly charged motions, admiring the silly habit you have of sticking out the tip of your tongue when you’re entirely engrossed in something. sort of like . . a frog.

“you said you’d go easy!” naturally, you pounce after him in an attempt to shave some distance— hoping it would be enough, to stand a little closer, (it’s not.)

because saichi has already met your wrist with his palm while the other, curves around your back.

he has you pressed against his chest, smiling down a very cheeky grin after— essentially— pinning you down, limiting your actions once again. “i was going easy.”

“this just means i still have lots to teach you.” still, because every time you visit the dojo on campus to steal a peek, he finds you, teases you and it ends like this:

“my girl,” he says, leaning down to place an annoyingly wet and loooud kiss, right in between your brows, “is not going to be held down by anyone.”

then saichi’s hands meet at the crown of your head, curving into the roundness of your jaw, “not even me.” before pecking the tip of your nose— sweetly.

“so let’s try again next time, alright?”

people on this website will complain about people liking their art and not reblogging it, and personally i think this is the silliest most nonsense complaint to have on tumblr dot com, because you know what happens when a lot of people reblog your art on tumblr dot com. it gets to people who dont give a single shit about the art but see the high note count and assume theyre missing out on some big event that just NEEDS their input, and said input is invariably along the lines of "i thought the acronym you used for the show this is fanart for meant something else", and 2 other people have already commented the exact same thing, and these are the only comments you will ever receive

okay, but i can just see that because blamore is canonically still new to gotham's underground, that a fair amount of people might not know what he really looks like. and because of that... some people might go off of the very vague descriptions that have gone around of him, that states it's either SUPER hard to look at with how its ribs stick out of it and its spine can grow in size + blamore can literally strangle someone with it if he's able to get a grip on them. or that it's morbidly kind of beautiful with all of the flora on it,, like, there's no in between LOL. and as a result — i bet y'all can imagine people's shock when they finally see him, only to discover that he has kept his good looks for sure to the point where it's almosttt possible to forget that it's a plant monster.

like, idk about you all, but... i think he can kind of get it y'know LMAO not to brag or anything OFC. i'm just saying that because one of it's powers being bone manipulation; and with that, wearing clothing such as robes that it can easily shrug his arms out of and such is probably a common occurrence for it now that i think about it so that he doesn't rip it + it'd just be graceful as hell to see blamore wearing these billowy robes that trail down behind it in my humble opinion okok
