I picture Ming Fan as the perfect teacher's pet, not in an ass kisser way, but in a was-born-for-this kind of way. If the authority figure is a cruel sneering villain, he is a cruel little minion hunched over rubbing his hands on the corner. If the authority figure is an old man with mommydaddy vibes, he's the neighborhood's unattainable MILF's son who clearly wants the cool Martial Arts champion to be his new dad and not you, I'm going to tell mom you hit me you little shit.
Unfortunately in the last scenario his aspiring stepdad is his little shit of pseudo (martial) brother, who wrote a poem titled something that Ming Fan interpreted as "Shixiong's mom has got it going on" which thankfully flew right above Shizun's head. Ming Fan just KNOWS that if Luo Binghe asked Shizun if they could marry pretty please Shizun would sigh and accept but only because Binghe has been such a diligent and filial disciple and he deserves a reward. And Ming Fan is not unaware of how incestuous he makes it sound, but you don't live here you don't know what he's going through.
He tried to keep Luo Binghe's grubby paws away from his shimei, but he focused so much on guarding the cabbage patch he didn't see Luo Binghe sneak past and towards the farmer's house!
Thank Heavens the farmer is so far removed from mortal issues he doesn't notice the beast he collared wants to be his house wife.
So Ming Fan, instead of a little henchman, becomes an anxiety riddled teenager, seeing gold diggers hiding in every corner. Ning Ying Ying tuts and tells him he's being ridiculous, to which Luo Binghe shakes his head and says:
"No, no. I see them too."

I know people love saying 'Bruce is a girldad' and I totally get it, we want to show how much he loves Cass and that she's his daughter. But Bruce's initial love for Cass was largely predicated on how not girly she was. He openly dislikes her girlhood throughout Batgirl 2000 (including but not limited to: dismissing her civilian identity, berating her for any romantic attempts, weakening her friendship with Stephanie, undermining her relationship to Babs, etc. etc.). Cass' femininity interferes with his ability to project onto her, so a lot of the time he just dismisses it. Is it really a coincidence that Bruce's only adopted daughter is one who wasn't raised as a girl?

-Projection-
-----
It's been ages since I last drew the Projectionist. It's been ages since I last drew many characters, actually. But the Projectionist is the one that applies most to this sentence.
You see, the idea was that I wanted to finish this one in August so that I could say that I did at least 7 prompts in August. But thanks to me falling a little under the weather and my brain being unfocused on Bendy for a few days, the drive to finish this prompt temporarily disappeared. I finished the normal drawing on the 31st, but even then, there was no way I could post the finished result on the same day/night. Sooooo 6 prompts in August, I guess.
Norman is projecting onto Henry. (Literally.)
And Henry is going blind by the second. (Norman is a very bright man. Again, literally.)
Also featuring my fanon design of Henry. It's also been a while since I drew him, so I decided to use him here instead of the canon design. I'm still inconsistent about his attire, especially the tie. Plus the inconsistency of how his attire changes as the game progresses. I'll have to do a ref sheet of him someday. I remember seeing someone, a long time ago (late 2018-early 2019), do a ref sheet of their Henry design with the differences in his appearance in each chapter of the first game. I always thought that idea was really cool, and I'd like to do something similar, both for my design and with the canon design.

As part of a two-part reverse bang-bang, here's some more Valentines art to which @probablytoooldforthis wrote an amazing fic, Sweets for the Sweet! Please go check it out, I promise you won't regret it, and keep your eyes peeled for the second chapter - and artwork, of course - coming out on White Day aka the 14th of March!
Also, I this is an unrendered version, the finished version will be posted within about a week's time (hopefully) since I don't have access to digital drawing at the moment YuY

In MDZS Lan Wangji's mother complains that he never indicates/says what he wants.
Because all Lan Wangji wanted was to be close to her. She kept trying to find ways to cheer him up but him acting out and pouting and huffing was his way of expressing himself, of showing part of himself he couldn't entrust to anyone else. He was never allowed to be immature or unreasonable or crabby or hard to please because of the nature of the expectations that were placed on him. He was being bratty because he loved her, because there was nowhere else he would rather be and there was no one else who accepted him as he was. To him, that ability to be himself was everything--trinkets and baubles and empty platitudes meant nothing, and so he never wanted them.
She is the narrative parallel to Wei Wuxian in Lan Wangji's life.
I swear to god I'm going to gut my walls I can't do this rn, MXTX when I get you. WHEN I GET YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Potential ideas for more TPOT 10 Nightmares:
Clock: Being forgotten - His teammates forget about him the moment they enter his head, they spend the episode trying to remember what they need to do
Snowball: Being armless/weak - Snowball doesn't have arms, TSTOE has to get through to him while he keeps getting more and more reckless trying to prove that he isn't weak
Donut: He doesn't have a canon fear, but I like to think the time he was factored with Four affected him more than he likes to admit - Donut gets factored with Four again and gradually loses control over their powers, his team either has to help him get control or to somehow remove Four from his body
Golfball: Having no control - She doesn't usually have control over everything anyway, but she'd probably really hate having no control at all, maybe put her in cage and have her unable to do anything while her team has to free her

spent years avoiding telling ppl about my health problems only to find out it barely makes a difference if i do tell them bc people literally just dont remember 😭😭😭 it does not change people's perception of me in a big way it literally doesnt even change people's perception of me in a small way. like for example remembering that i told them that i am disabled

I don't know how to pitch this video I made except that it's me losing my mind about Angel s4 (with some Buffy parallels), Connor, and the Themes and Motifs of free will and the choices we make and living life without the expectation of reward
