Louis likes to think it has something to do with him, or at the very least, this adventure they’ve embarked on together, chosen to see through to San Diego. Or, Harry and Louis fall in love down the coast of California.

“Can you keep them there for me, sweetie?” he smiled. “I need the use of both my hands to worship you.”
Atsushi simply nodded, tugging lightly at the restraints to test their give. He could have easily ripped through them, but Ryuu knew that he liked the resistance and needed the reminder. He tended to have trouble keeping his hands off of Ryuu, and though Ryuu preened at being so irresistible, sometimes he really did like his dessert to sit quietly.

SUMMARY: It has been said, by himself and many others, that Kawi has some of the worst luck in the whole Continent – and beyond.

He’s awkward, clumsy, and generally so covered in scars that even his enhanced healing struggles to keep up. Sometimes, he thinks it’s a miracle he’s managed to last this long.

Other times, he thinks destiny is playing a cruel trick.

RECOMMENDATION: This fic is over 80k of such well-written character and worldbuilding that you'd think this was the canon. Kay's so seamlessly written Kawi, Pisaeng, and Pear into this universe that it feels like they're meant to be there. (Also, there's a horse named Cake.) Like, listen, even if you haven't seen the Witcher, you'll still probably love this fic. I barely know anything about the Witcher and I was hooked the entire time.

Kay's posting chapters as she edits this massive behemoth, so please please please go read and leave comments. This isn't a WIP situation. It's done, and it won't be abandoned. But I know from experience that comments on the chapters as they're posted is really appreciated by writers. <3

Summary: Wild knew he was… odd. He experienced the world differently than everyone else. No one seemed to feel as deeply as he did, about the things he did. And the thing is, Wild knew his friends knew it too. But these new friends, they were different. They didn’t treat him like he was different, or broken, or a burden. They just took him in stride. Wild didn’t know how to put into words how much that meant to him.

Bodies - I really like the concept, but I'm only two episodes in and I have so many questions.

Kiseki: Dear To Me - The last episode was basically a series of epilogues tying up loose ends (the elder gays even got their happy ending!). Such a great show. I loved it.

Last Twilight - Surprisingly not terrible. I really like the story so far and I'm interested enough to watch the next episode at least.

Love is Panacea - In general, it's a little bland so far. But I do like the friendship that is developing between the four leads, and I'm completely charmed by Wei'an.

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds - Finished off the last three episodes. "Under the Cloak of War" was about what I expected. But "Subspace Rhapsody" and the finale made up for that in spades. And they got their first season finale cliffhanger! That's a right of passage for a Trek show. Season two was an excellent set of episodes overall and I am very much looking forward to season three.

historical bl aus you say *cracks knuckles* you got it. here is a list of the ones i can remember off the top of my head but i know there are a ton more i’m just not remembering right now.

and as to why i haven’t published mine: i don’t even know 😩 i currently have an aepete historical au sitting in my drafts where prince pete runs away from his bethroment and into the arms of a notorious outlaw. it was a big crossover with a bunch of other thai bl characters…maybe i should pick this back up djsjdjs but i also have like 5 more half-finished ones too not to mention all the modern royalty x body guard au’s in my drafts…

Watching To Sir With Love I've got soap operas on my mind. The nonsense (and not even whimsical nonsense, just Non-Sense) that is War of Y was giving me existential crises about what even is storytelling. Watching it I kept wondering, do I just not like the melodrama of soap operas? But no, I do, I'm having a blast with To Sir With Love. Plus it's genuinely emotionally moving. Because all the twists and turns are still rooted in the characters. Which is what War of Managers completely fails to do.

Anyways, I haven't watched many true soap operas, but they always put in mind this amazing story by @ladysisyphus A Prescription for Love. It's about a soap opera, but it itself is not a soap opera.

MASTERPIECE “BE MY FAVORITE” KAWIPI FIC COMING SOON!!!

So @itsmylifekay, of WinTeam fic the salty taste of victory and KawiPi fic done waiting fame (and many, many more), has written an 82k-word KawiPi AU fic set in the Witcher universe. And it is now hands-down one of my favorite fics ever.

I’m so excited for people to read it, and I hope she gets heaped with praise when she uploads it to AO3, because she really, really deserves to hear a thousand times over how incredible it is.

Engagement for fics takes a steep decline when a series ends, so if you do read it when it’s uploaded, please, please, please leave kudos and comments. That’s what keeps little fandoms like Be My Favorite thriving. I know people still love the series, so I’m hoping there’s still an audience for the fics we want to write. <3
