Tumblr media
✨My FAQ!
✨ I currently write female reader-insert fics as well almost exclusively AUs (Alternate Universes). I try to make my fics as inclusive as possible, but I understand that I will fall short of this at times. The moodboards I make for the heroines of my stories are based off of vibes only, but the reader characters themselves will not have physical attributes save for something like hair length.
✨Most of my stories are for Jake “Hangman” Seresin at the moment. I started writing for the Top Gun Maverick fandom in September 2023, and only recently started branching out to other fandoms.
✨ Writing Updates: I do not currently have a posting schedule. This is mainly because my job/life are pretty hectic and I never know when the mood or time to update will strike me.
✨ Taglists: I no longer do taglists. If you would like to be notified of when I post fic updates, drabbles, moodboards, or polls, please head over to my sideblog: @arcanevagabond-library and turn on post notifications!
✨ Requests are currently: Open! Feel free to send them in at any time, but please know that it may take me a little while to get to it.
I will write: Smut, Fluff, Angst (within reason), light, soft!dark, dark!, AUs (there's not much I won't do), age difference (both adults), threesome, reverse harem, dubcon, consensual non-consent, Dom/Sub, cockwarming, praise, praise and degradation, breeding, chase, power imbalance, choking, knife play, bondage, edging, overstimulation, A/B/O, and I'm sure there's more. Just ask!
I will NOT write: Real Person Fic (RPF), age regression, pedophilia, bestiality, necrophilia, incest, race play, underage scenarios, scat play, piss kink, cheating between "main" couple, accidental pregnancy, miscarriage, Taylor Swift inspired fic.
Who I'll write for:
✨TGM Characters: Jake "Hangman" Seresin, Bradley "Rooster" Bradshaw, Javy "Coyote" Machado, and Mickey "Fanboy" Garcia
✨ Twisters Characters: Tyler Owens, Boone, and Scott
✨Marvel Characters: Bucky Barnes, Steve Rogers, Thor, Loki, Peter Parker
✨Misc. Characters: Soldier Boy, Dean Winchester, Sam Winchester, and more to come!
Tumblr media
✨ My blog is 18+ only!
✨ I sometimes write smut and some of my stories contain elements of sexual assault and non-con, so please heed the warnings posted at the top of fics and proceed with caution!
✨ Hate, racism, transphobia, homophobia, and misogyny will not be tolerated. Take your mean anons elsewhere, please and thanks.
✨ While I thirst over characters and celebrities and I'm happy to receive positive asks about them, I'm not a gossip blog.
✨ This is my safe space. I do my best to be kind, but don't take advantage of it.
✨ SUPPORT WRITERS AND THEIR HARD WORK THAT YOU ENJOY FOR FREE. If you struggle with what to say when commenting/reblogging, check out this post for ideas/help.
About My Inbox and DMs
✨ Please read my FAQ!
✨ When it comes to ask games and chatting (whether about my fics or in general) I'm pretty quick to respond. However, I'm a little slower when it comes to requests, so please keep that in mind when sending in asks.
✨ Inbox is open for positivity, thirsting, fic and writer asks, personal shares (within reason), and more! I will happily accept gifs, photos, and videos as they make my day.
✨ Please ask before trauma dumping. While I don't get triggered easily, asking beforehand is appreciated. Should I agree, please add a trigger warning when you send the next ask.
✨ If you ask for my advice, please keep in mind that my word is not law and I may not have the answer you're looking for.

WHAT I'M WORKING ON AT THE CURRENT MOMENT
I'm working on a number of things for different things for different fandoms. These include fics for Top Gun Maverick, Teen Wolf, Twisters, and Marvel. I'm always expanding though!

Tumblr media
And last but not least on this long ass poll, some info about me!
Hi, my name is Liz. I'm 28 years old, and I blow the candles out on September 3rd of every year. I graduated with a Bachelor's of Art in Linguistics and I had two minors: One in German and the other in Medieval and Renaissance Studies. Because I unfortunately can't afford to pursue more education, I joined the work force upon graduation! During school, I studied abroad twice: Once for a year in Germany and the second time was for a month in Ireland!
I've always loved stories, ever since I was a little girl and my dad would read the original Grimms fairytales to me. I've been telling stories ever since I could remember, but I didn't start writing them down until I was around nine years old.
My dream has always been to be an author, but I only recently started writing fanfiction in September 2023! A lot of my fics are story ideas I've had over the years that I've wanted to tell, but I always like to see how they'll do before I commit to them, so don't be shy about telling me what you think! I live for feedback of any kind, and likes just simply won't cut it for me. I want to know your thoughts! I promise you will never annoy me with them.
When I'm not writing, you can usually find me binge watching TV shows and/or movies while I cross-stitch, embroider, play video games, or paint! I also love painting pottery and reading in my spare time. If you want to know more details, feel free to check out my About Me page on my Navigation post!
Thanks for sticking around this long!

My Psychosis Survival Guide
Things from my coping box that might benefit you too. Like any other skill, many of these things can be used to help any other mental health problem. This is just my own list of things I use in addition to seeing my pdoc and taking my meds:
Art
Grounding is my first and most effective coping skill. Among the skills in the grounding category, coloring and doodling are my favorites (bonus if you can color-in doodles you've made yourself) but any art will do, like painting or making collages.
This can distract you from hallucinations and keep your mind occupied to stop dwelling on paranoid or delusional thoughts. Art therapy is known to reduce anxiety and depression too, which is common with psychotic disorders.
Instrumental music
LoFi is my favorite. Something calming can reduce anxiety and help you rest or sleep, which is good for a brain bombarded with the psychotic experience. Lyrics can sometimes trigger unwanted thoughts and some people even find that the lyrics change and suddenly have special meaning, so this is avoided with instrumental music.
Some LoFi music has other sound effects which can help auditory hallucinations to blend in and be less intrusive. Cafe vlogs are excellent for this, as they have a background of people talking and kitchen appliances being used which disguise mild and pesky hallucinations.
Putty
It can be Silly Putty, Thinking Putty, or whatever you can find. Some of them change colors, some of them are even scented. This is excellent grounding. It involves your senses and you can completely turn off your brain and just play with it in your hands. It's also great as a fidget tool.
Letters to yourself
Writing letters to yourself while you're in a good and healthy mindset can be valuable to look back on while in a psychotic episode. Give yourself a pep talk. Remind yourself that this is real life, remind yourself of why these thoughts are irrational and why you really can trust your friends and family, etc.
I find it useful to write about past delusions, so that when similar ones happen, I have "proof" that this is unreasonable and I'm less likely to fall for it (nothing is perfect. sometimes I'll still believe the delusion despite everything, but it helps)
A list of people who can help
Keep a list of friends or family who are aware of your diagnosis and who are ready to help you if you're struggling. Keep the numbers to these people in case you chuck your phone. Also include the numbers to your doctor, therapist, social worker, or anyone else you may need to reach when you're unable to use your own phone. (It's also good to have these listed in case you get hospitalized and are unable to have your phone)
Also if you're dealing with paranoia around your phone, some people find it comforting to use WhatsApp because it's encrypted unlike text messages.
I hope these are helpful

Moffat stans keep on winning, Boom was absolutely amazing. My heart is beating so fast!!! No I will not take any nuance. The criticism of capitalist war and blind faith? In the current state of the world? A parent's love bringing peace? More than 14k dead kids. Doctor Who knows what's up. I have too many thoughts to organize them right now, I need a few hours to process. F*ck capitalism and f*ck weapons manufacturers. Viva la resistencia and the Doctor.

Five Survive - Holly Jackson
DISCLAIMER: These are my opinions. I do not mean harm - neither to the creator of this wonderful book, nor to the fandom and any of its followers. If you do not agree with my opinion, please do not engage merely to fight with me (I don't like it).
I could see myself enjoying it if I was younger - but I'm not, and I personally don't appreciate Jackson's YA style. In my opinion, it was pretty average and not Jackson's best work. Here’s what I thought of it:
The characters were well-written, but underwhelming. One thing I loved about them were how well-rounded they were. None of them were inherently good or bad, and that provided a necessary connect.
Red was a mediocre main character. Jackson wrote her in an incredible way, where the reader felt so close yet distant to her (awe-inspiring writing style. Loved it). The teenage angst and depression were spot-on, and I felt I could relate to her a lot. But she was dull, and somewhat irritating. In the books, Red's trauma surrounding her mother was a huge give-away of the one with the secret. Red's internal monologue turned out to be very repetitive, as if Jackson was copy-pasting everything. And I don't really think that Red would be thinking to that extent about her mother's death - it felt like a new wound than something done five years ago.
The rest of the characters (Reyna, Simon, Maddy) were kind of ignored. I kept feeling as if they had no emotions and were just plot conveniences (more like inconveniences). They were fine but there was nothing else about them. I realized who was going to die from the beginning.
The characters felt very organized. Every emotional meltdown, every outburst was seen coming from the beginning. Personally, this was a let-down because I'm used to teenage characters being unpredictable and stupid.
The plot, too, was a tad unhinged, and not in a good way. Jackson did an absolutely phenomenal thing by stretching events of eight hours into a novel of four hundred pages, all while keeping the readers involved the whole thing. Truly awe-inspiring. Most of the plot twists felt very unplanned, as if Jackson surprised herself by writing it - but I get it, I do that a lot in my writing. In some places, the stakes were so high that they tipped the scale and weren't exciting anymore.
The title was a bit of a distraction. The book wasn't even based on Oliver's inconsequential death and the blurb and title together gave away the main tension of the movie. Halfway through and I already detected who was going to die.
One thing I truly loved was the poetic irony in the last leg of the book. Red survives a deadly sniper and ends up getting shot by a bumbling, assuming policeman. I absolutely loved Maddy and Red's friendship, as well as Arthur and Red's weird lying dynamic.
To conclude, it was wonderful book but not really my cup of tea. Holly Jackson does it well.
-X-
Maybe I will continue book reviews! Love you all <3 and thank you for interacting!

Mercury Retrograde Guide : Handle Mercury Rx with Ease 🐰✨
Tumblr media
Mercury is the planet of communication, travel, trade & commerce in Astrology. When in Retrograde, Mercury tends to affect these themes of our life immensely given how close the planet is to us. The damage this Retrograde can do within just a span of about 15 days (for almost three times a year) is hence astounding. Okay, I’m being dramatic 😉😂😌 but it’s still one of the most influential Retrogrades of the year, affecting our everyday life in unthinkable ways.
So let’s look at some of the things to DO and NOT to Do during a Mercury Rx to make sure we don’t stumble along our way during this rather important Transit. Read More…
That’s it for now. I make split threads on each topic, so they are usually uploaded in parts, just so if you’re wondering. Please look forward to them. Or check out the previous one(s) in the Master List. 🌸

Holly Jackson
This isn't HP related but I wanted to share this!
If you don't know who Holly Jackson, she is a author who has six books out right now. She is my favorite book writer! She is most famous for her series called "A Good Girl's Guide to Murder" and you should definitely check that out if you like murder mysteries with a hint of romance. Also the prequel she released last year or two years ago.
Anyways, I have a copy of all her books and two weeks ago she released her newest, "The Reapperance of Rachel Price".
This book was so good. I finally had time to sit down and not laze around to read it (its been on my bookshelf for two weeks...) I also timed myself reading it (idk why) and it took me three hours, so it's pretty short. I don't want to spoil anything but the twist was good. I thought it was a little obvious as she started to build it up more and more but at the same time I was suprised. There is romance in the book but it's not in the way or the main focus either.
Her writing is something that I find very simple yet intriguing. Her other book that I read during the summer, "The Five Survive" had me hooked. I think it's very hard for authors that have a famous series to take off after releasing a different type of story (not really, her stories are under the category: Murder Mystery ...I think). I like the characters that she developed and just thought I should share :)
Also she's releasing a show based on "A Good Girl's Guide to Murder" in July of this year! The actress Emma Meyers, who played Enid in the other show "Wednesday" is playing the main character, Pip. I am super excited and cannot wait for this to come to America.
Anyways thanks for reading!!

Pretending You’re Okay 101: How to Survive With Style
Let’s not lie to ourselves—none of us really have it together. We’re all just trying to remember our passwords, guess the right recycling days, and avoid crying in public. But the key to surviving adulthood isn’t actually having your life sorted. It’s pretending you do, with enough conviction that even your dog starts to believe it. So, if you’re currently a walking contradiction—burning out on…

Before diving into this survival guide, please note that I am not a professional survivalist, nor do I have formal training. What I share here is based on personal experience, research, and a deep passion for the outdoors. Although I’ve been criticized and even attacked in the past for posting this kind of information, I believe in sharing what I know to help others. So, despite the negativity, I’ve decided to continue sharing these tips.
Preparing Yourself
Your mission in a survival situation is to stay alive. The assortment of thoughts and emotions you will experience in such a situation can work for you or against you. Fear, anxiety, anger, frustration, guilt, depression, and loneliness are all possible reactions to the many stressors common in survival. When these reactions are controlled in a healthy way, they increase your likelihood of surviving.
They prompt you to:
…Pay more attention during training …Fight back when you're scared …Take action to ensure your sustenance and security …Keep faith with your fellow team members …Strive against overwhelming odds
But if you can’t control these reactions in a healthy way, they can bring you to a standstill. Instead of rallying your internal resources, you’ll listen to your internal fears. Those fears will lead to psychological defeat long before you physically succumb.
Remember: Survival is natural to everyone. But being unexpectedly thrust into a life-or-death struggle is not. Don’t be afraid of your natural reactions to this unnatural situation. Instead, prepare yourself to rule over those reactions so that they serve your ultimate interest: staying alive with honor and dignity.
⚙️ Being Prepared
Being prepared means knowing your reactions in a survival setting are likely to be productive, not destructive if you’ve trained yourself properly.
Survival situations have produced countless examples of heroism, courage, and self-sacrifice. These are the qualities a survival situation can bring out in you if you’ve prepared yourself mentally, emotionally, and physically.
The following tips will help you prepare psychologically. Through studying these principles and practicing survival training, you can begin to develop what’s called the “survival attitude.”
🔍 Know Yourself
Take time to truly discover who you are on the inside. What are your strengths? What are your weaknesses? Learn to strengthen your stronger qualities and develop the areas you know are necessary for survival.
😨 Anticipate Fears
Don’t pretend that you’ll have no fear. You will. Start thinking now about what would frighten you the most if forced to survive alone. Is it the dark? Hunger? Injury? Isolation?
Train in the areas that are most concerning to you. The goal is not to eliminate fear but to build confidence in your ability to function despite it. Fear may still be there, but it won’t control you.
🧭 Be Realistic
Don’t be afraid to make an honest appraisal of your situation. See things as they are, not as you want them to be. Keep your hopes and expectations within the estimate of the situation. When you go into survival with unrealistic expectations, you set yourself up for bitter disappointment.
Remember this old saying: “Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.” It’s much easier to adjust to pleasant surprises than to emotionally collapse from unexpected hardship.
☀️ Adopt a Positive Attitude
Learn to see the potential good in everything. This not only boosts morale, but also exercises your imagination and creativity—both of which are vital in a survival setting.
This mindset will serve you well not just in survival, but in life.
🚨 Remind Yourself of What’s at Stake
Failure to prepare yourself psychologically for survival can lead to:
…Depression …Carelessness …Inattention …Loss of confidence …Poor decision-making …Giving up before your body ever does
Your life is on the line. The lives of others who may depend on you are on the line. Let that weight ground you and sharpen your resolve.
🛠 Train
Begin today to prepare yourself for the rigors of survival. Demonstrate your skills in daily life. Show yourself that you’re capable so when a crisis comes, you already believe it.
The more realistic your training is, the less overwhelming a real survival setting will feel.
🧘 Learn Stress Management Techniques
Stress can lead to panic if you’re not trained and mentally ready to face the circumstances at hand.
You often can’t control the situation you're in. But you can control your response to that situation.
Learning stress management skills can significantly enhance your ability to stay calm, clear-headed, and focused as you fight to keep yourself and others alive. A few good techniques to start working on:
Relaxation skills – Breathing exercises, meditation, grounding
Time management skills – Efficient use of time under pressure
Assertiveness skills – The ability to act and speak with clarity
Cognitive restructuring – Reframing how you view and react to situations
Remember this:
The will to survive is often nothing more than the refusal to give up.
