I love my throwbacks to remind me that I’ve persevered in the past. My goal is to get back to and beyond 20% body fat. I have allowed my battle with depression take precedence and cause me to wear it around my midsection. I have been continually embarrassed to admit that I have fallen short of how I know how to live and who I am known to be. I have battled with this for past few years. Although I stayed working out, I saw the slow decline of my physical appearance. It was partly for medical reasons, stress, depression and more. How could this be me? How can I let this happen to me? I know better. I had to learn to give myself grace. It happens... Life happens... The key is to not give up. For me, I can’t give up. Pushing forward is fighting for my life. So again, I love throwbacks. Do you have a pelvic tilt? One way you can find out is to stand in front of a mirror side on in just your underwear and check out the angle of the waistband. If it’s pointing down at an angle towards the floor it could be a sign that you have a pelvic tilt, meaning quite possibly tight glutes and hip flexors and poor form on squats with a loose core. Doesn’t mean you should be staving yourself, just means that you are probably going to hear your stomach growl, and that is A-OK. - 🐸I used to think that whenever my stomach growled, I needed to reach for some food because it was my body telling me that it was “starving”. When the reality was, it was my body processing things and actually working. But the instinct is to grab some food - 🦅So finding foods that are super low calorie to help build of food volume for low calories is a huge win when dieting. The foods that are listed are less than 40 calories per cup, and some foods are so low, that the time spent recoding the 5 calories that you consumed may not be totally necessary. Many are high in fiber too, which is a key to feeling full - ✅Spinach ✅Tomatoes ✅Cabbage ✅Mushrooms ✅Celery ✅Lettuce ✅Broccoli ✅Brussel Sprouts ✅Coffee - ☕️While Coffee isn’t “technically” a food, it’s on the list, because black coffee has 0 calories and is not only a great appetite suppressant, but it also makes a great pre-worioiut.
