How book lovers are called across Europe

In French, the word for “bookworm” is “rat de bibliothèque” (library rat). In German, it’s “Bücherwurm” (bookworm). In Italy, the most common way to describe a book lover is “topo di biblioteca,”  which is a library mouse. The same in Spain – “ratón de biblioteca” is nothing else but a library mouse.

Mini Book Review 🤍 (*no spoilers*)

book: the cruel prince

thoughts:

I loved, loved, loved, this book. The imagery Holly Black uses throughout the book is stunning. The way she writes her characters, it's like you love them almost instantly. At first I was a little nervous i wasn't going to connect or relate with her characters, as i sometimes struggle with that when reading fantasy, but that was absolutely not the case with this book! There are so many characters that were so easy to love, and equally as many that you really love to hate. Which i think just makes it all that more fun to read. There are also so many fun fantastical elements that i absolutely adored, and its super easy to get sucked into! I highly recommend this book to someone who's trying to get into the fantasy genre but isn't sure where to start! Although, i believe anyone who picks this one up is guaranteed to love it!!
