hi! i’m cypress, a nonbinary kid who’s been dealing with depression. i’m pretty new to tumblr but i just wanted to come out of the cracks and say that blogs like this.. people who share similar experiences and are so kind and supportive of each other.. it’s a big part of what keeps me going. often times i really feel like i’m alone in my struggles, and my anxiety gets the best of me and starts telling me that the world is doomed at it just… isn’t worth it to go on. I feel like a worthless individual who won’t survive in this horribly wrong body for the next who knows how long. But reading these stories.. it really does help sometimes. I’m grateful to know that i’m not alone, and i wanna make sure anyone else who’s in a situation like me, dealing with the pain of dysphoria and depression, knows that they aren’t alone either. For reference, this is the post they are referring to, that I made back in September, criticizing the gross implication that Louis enjoys being subjected to racism and being emasculated by white men. A post in which btw I did not even mention your name.

And this was the other post I made some time before that, expressing my dislike for the prevalence of what I consider to be harmful racist and homophobic tropes in this fandom—which earned me a series of hateful comments and anonymous messages, no doubt coming from all those lovely people in your comments who are calling me names and accusing me of all sorts of things simply for daring to disagree with the great Masterletters.

Well, newsflash Buddy being black does not place you above criticism when you say some dumbass racist shit. Nor does it give you the right to bully and harass other fans for expressing opinions you don't like.

I will reiterate the same thing I said a month ago: Me expressing my opinions on my own blog, in posts that I usually don't even tag, is not me policing other writers.

I am allowed to say that I dislike certain tropes and find the way they are written in this particular fandom—especially when it comes to Louis—homophobic, dehumanizing and racist. That is my opinion and you're more than free to disagree with it.

I really wanna try my hand at some random, filthy oneshots without a bunch of world building or context, bc that's something I tend to get hung up on in my writing, and I wanna stick to some short and sweet smut oneshots about Tim being a pregnant, underage nympho slut, or a puppy factory, or a cocksleeve for the rogues of Gotham and their goons, all that good stuff!!

On that thought tho, do you have any pieces of advice for like, consistent writing, or motivation to write? Bc that's my biggest struggle tbh is sitting down to start writing. yes of course❤️❤️❤️!!!!!!!!!!!! you don't believe how happy that makes me to hear!!!! so many of the asks i get sent are just so brilliant and well done and it would make me so beyond happy to know people started writing or got inspired to write out their ideas!!! and i'm sure that people who submitted other posts you get inspiration from would love to see others expand further on their asks ❤️❤️❤️❤️!!!

one shots are a really great way to really get back into a sort of groove of writing because it can be shorter, the plot may be not as dense or complex as something from a multichap (though you can also write VERY long one shots that are incredibly detailed too), and it can be mainly composed of "fun" writing in the sense that you don't have to do buildup for bigger things like you would in longer multichaps or those that are heavily plot driven. i totally get struggling to get motivation to write, for me it was always like i had to wait for my brain to be turned "on" or in a working mode for me to get any writing for my fics done which meant it usually only happened when i was studying for exams or doing projects for school. however for me that meant when i was in the 'off season' like breaks from school it meant that even though i had time, i no longer had motivation to write. that's something i'm still working to break myself out of and i think one think that is pretty effective is thinking of a scene or piece of dialogue i'm excited to write and look forward to getting to so it motivates to write to reach it. that works sometimes, other times i think of a reward i'll get myself once i finally finish. something like candy or some snack or food i don't often get or go out of my way to get. and another thing that works for me sometimes is basically planning the fic, for a short one shot the major bullet points of what happen would be a short list and so it would pretty much trick your brain into thinking 'wow a short task list i can do all of these pretty quickly/complete them without too much hassel or procrastination!'.

ultimately i think writing one shots takes a lot of pressure off since as a single chapter there's basically no further commitment needed like it would during a multi chapter fic which can be very relieving for people who get easily stressed or pressured by commitments with no hard deadline.

Boy's love is a genre that is near and dear to our hearts. As "aficionados" (wow, big word lol) of the genre, we've drawn inspiration from beloved visual novels like Sinsations, Dramatical Murder, Camp Buddy, Chess of Blades, The Divine Speaker, and Chasing the Stars, just to name a few. Whether it's by making protagonists that are of the LGBT spectrum, these games have not only entertained us but have also realllyy ignited our passion for more LGBT storytelling, pushing us to create something truly special with Dragon's Heart. Btw huge huge shoutout to Sinsations. I love that visual novel so much. I loveeeee Kosuke Arai's voice. He sounds so dreamy haha. Mylo Reid did an incredible job bringing that character to life, making me swoon with every word. With the narration and everything. We're still waiting for Sinsations 2: Modern Gods 😏 Can't wait to play it! As for the inspirations for the other aspects of the visual novel, we are definitely inspired by the power system of the amazing Last Airbender. We love it! Also, we love the storytelling of Dramatical Murder as well. So, there. Haha oh my gosh. I could go on an on about how I love visual novels. And my brother wanted me to let you all know that his cast has to stay on for another week, so he is very sad about that BUT the big news that he immediately looked at me (in the office in front of them btw) and went ‘you gotta tell my new homies about this’ was that in two weeks he has his final check up with his surgeon bc he wants to do all tests one last time and then if all is good which they believe will be, he can officially go home and back to his whatever tf normal life is for him. His favorites so far are: we didn’t know we could reach the stars (he thought that one was a very accurate portrayal of what Brian and Justin would be like if the writers didnt ruin it), clothes mean nothing until someone lives in them (he really enjoyed that one btw. He especially thought the ‘not the first boy to jerk off to thoughts of Brian in this bed’ was clever as fuck and literally went ‘ooohhh shit’ when he read it)

Thank you for your well wishes. My SIL tested negative this morning so we are officially in the clear (and can abandon our masks). I think we did a good job being responsible within the circumstances. Luckily, my SIL’s symptoms never got bad and the cold I arrived with (was it a cold or an intense allergic reaction to cleaning my apartment and kicking up all that dust?) never evolved into anything more unpleasant.

I love that we’re not the people on the “no porn site.” And we do all think he’s delightful. I’m glad he’s recovering well and can soon live independently from you but I imagine life will be a lot quieter and less chaotic without him and feline BriBri.

I’m glad he like the 5+1 clothes sharing fic (I have such a soft spot for it), and We Didn’t Know We Could Reach the Stars is such an overlooked fic (I forget I wrote it!). AND of course Tattoo was my beloved fic this year.

The fandom isn’t in hibernation so much as it is small and basically zero new content has been released in eons and so it is a small fandom with nowhere near the works produced that large currently or recently active fandoms have (tbh those fandoms intimidate me - I will read GO fic but joining a discord or writing fic in there? so scary!).

“It was quite the scandal really…” is the other quote I say to my spouse on hair wash / hair turban days! I like to think we *are* fun to be around. Especially if quote RPDR S5 is your idea of fun. Then we’re a blast!

I do have fun writing fics. I bitch and moan and complain, but I love writing them and getting to put them out into the world. I’m even more excited to write and post the last chapter of Fireflies now that I know your brother has read it. I’m honestly a little bit emotional from your PS. I write fics because I love to write them but hearing that you’re sitting around discussing them? I love writing them but I do want an audience (otherwise I wouldn’t publish them) and there are fics out there that I feel that way about (written by other people) so for my fics to be that to someone… just, I need a moment and a tissue.

(jake isnt white in the slightest but it's quite funny) & the two occasionally fuck around with freymotifs (or whatever theyre called LMAO) and VERY ACCIDENTALLY like once every 5000 tries end up travelling to a fictional universe. source: im a jake fictive & my partner is a crow fictive this happened and is so real to us. thats all. i love the art and the blog and the energy #weloveyoudyke-stuck lmao

Hello, I must say before getting into details that I really enjoy your blog, and your opinions on things, even tho sometimes I don’t agree, but I think you have valid opinions and points. And I very much enjoy your readings :)

I have been following you for a while, and I have witnessed you changing your opinions on NV and that relationship. Although, I don’t agree with you, nor I think these people deserve giving them the benefit of the doubt, I never thought of you as evil or easily manipulated. In matter of fact, I find you one of the few people who are rational on this app. 

But I want to share some of the things that have been observed, that literally proves the concept of privacy is not implemented there. 

Of course, this is your blog, it is up to you to post this or not, but I will ask you to be fair, please. 

Regarding the house they both posted a picture of the dogs from, it was a confirmation that the purchase was correct. They want people to know that he bought a mansion, and obviously to start a  family at. They are engaged for sure, they will announce it very soon. But how exactly this house been shared by her fans, who are supposed to be fan accounts of her because she’s brilliant, know about this purchase? They shared the link months ago, and know this was bought by Henry. The website states it has been sold, but no website states the name of the new owner. If that’s not suspicious, I don’t know what is! 

Henry never used to post pictures of houses he was at, at least not showing distinctive parts. And today she posted the fountain that is obviously shown in that link as well. I am sorry, but being private does not include trying to show to the world that you are happy and together still all the time. He asked people to FO and not speculate about his love life, but the last post, from the captions to the pictures, screams that we are strong and together, and “moving on”. 

How exactly are they private, when a lot of people know about this purchase before he confirmed it, and the exact location of it? How are they private when she’s been messing with her instagram location to show she is with him when he travels? I guarantee you, when he goes filming in Spain in September, she will change it, even tho she bagged him literally, she will still use these techniques. Why I know this? Because that’s what she always does, and that is a woman in her mid 30’s. 

Look, I somehow agree with you regarding of what happened to Meat, to a certain point. Yes, he was already old, and people want to be with their pets all the time, especially at that age. But, even tho he was living "the best life" ever on "private jets", that’s still dangerous, this is a literal medical fact, not my opinion. And the fact that the vet said he was in the hospital the entire duration she was there as well when she followed Henry speaks volumes. Poor guy stepped out of the private jet and straight to an oxygen box. Maybe you would never change your opinion on this matter, but they could have made better arrangements. Since Henry himself does not take Kal everywhere he goes because it is not safe, and Akitas are a stronger breed. 

Yes, he was old, and I find it funny and sneaky that Henry mentioned his age in the post, like he was old already, it was his time. But don’t you think it would have been more peaceful and caring if he spent the last month of his life resting, instead of being in an oxygen box. Btw, there are pictures of him in the box, and the vet again confirmed he was there for a month or more. Some of the sneaky pictures at the vet, the CCTV and another video, not the smiling ones, were sent from someone who worked at the vet to a fan account that supports her. The fan account has her name stated and Henry’s, not only his name. 

Again, why send it to them? The demon squad, they call themselves! 

She posted a picture from the hotel room, and immediately the usual suspects of fans figured out the hotel name and the location of it. From a beige curtain! 

Now how would a “fan account for the girlfriend of a celebrity” know all of these things, and they’re not quiet about it either, they keep hinting and bragging. It’s like their life purpose to support this relationship and prove it’s real. their lives depends on her, that is not normal!

Getting back to her social media, that should be private by the way because she does not use it for her job, instead it is a verified fan account of Henry. She literally stopped accepting tags for months, which was good, yet opened it just before the EH premiere. Yeah, she is not looking for attention at all. 

I am sorry, but this situation is way fucked up than it looks. It is obvious that they are planning to a deepen the commitment because that’s how relationships work. 

But I have to ask, after all of these points, do they still deserve the praise and the acceptance, benefit of the doubt, whatever you want to call it? 

She is not a good person, she’s been seeking clout since the chess post, nor Henry is a good person. 

As I said before, I am not attacking you at all, and I truly respect your opinions, but on this matter, I cannot agree with you at all. And sometimes, I get irritated that you of all people changed your mind about this. And I am not going to lie, his post yesterday and his sneaky hints made me sad and depressed. You might think I am jealous, vile, whatever, you might even think I am silly and pathetic, but those feelings still mater. Honestly, the thought of him marrying that woman makes me sad! Not because the Henry Cavill is getting married and starting a family, nor I want to be in her place, but because he chose THAT woman! God knows I tried to accept her, even like her, it did not work. 

There are many other examples of how they’re not private and how this entire relationship they use for show is a sham. 

I am not jealous, but I expected better from Henry and his chosen partner, that’s it! I keep saying this, because even you started using this language, and that made me even more sad. 

I guess that is one of life’s lessons, everything is a facade, even people. 

This relationship showed who the real Henry is, it is just so sad that he always talked about having a family and about his “dream woman” and he ends this chapter like this! 

Again, it is up to you to post this or not. But I hope you find some valid points here and consider them, because I find them valid. And I hope you don’t find my feelings about this whole thing and Henry silly and pathetic. Her crazy fans are already spamming social media with their vile behaviour.

First of all, thanks for the kind words and the time you take to send me this opinion. I feel you are way too invested in this topic and maybe you should step back for a little. You mentioned very old and insignificant moments from their relationship which shouldn't worry you after so many years. You take their relationship too personally. It's no reason to cry, be sad or depressed about that they probably will marry or they are together. This is not affecting our lives in any way. If she is truly as horrible as you think you should stop following both at least for a while because it obviously bothers you too much.

You have so many unpacked negative feelings toward this situation it was draining to read. Maybe you think those were not noticeable but I am literally feeling your sadness and desperation from your words. You are asking me questions that I don't know the answer and tbh I don't care. If she is baiting the fans it is possible because the fans let themself be bothered by her. She can post about that house if she wants, especially if he bought it for themselves. That is her home now. She doesn't need to ask anyone's permission. Why is this important? They are not that public with their lives like Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively or some Kardashian. They are sometimes posting together and attending events. If you think all she wants is attention, don't give her.

And let's get to the part about me: Again, I appreciate your kind words, truly. I will continue to keep information private if I feel I am not comfortable sharing those. I don't mind different opinions, I think they are great. I don't mind if you disagree but you should not expect me to express opinions you agree with all the time. If my different opinion or changing mind irritates you, I am sorry, but I cannot help. You have to learn to deal with different opinions. Online and in real life too. I don't really change my mind about her, I just know she is not that important to me ( I mean she is not important at all) to keep alive the negative feelings I had in the beginning. I still don't like her but I won't keep spending my time hating on her when she is totally insignificant for my life and my personal happiness. You said all of the feelings you feel matter and you are right, but they are pointless if you feel towards Harry or NV, because they are not real life for us. That's why you need to step back from them. For your own emotional and mental health.

Fils de joie - Stromae (Such a perfect mix of various influences. Yes, I can tell you listen to Brel a lot, mon ami. Also, how does he look so young? How inconsiderate of him.)

Mona Lisa, Mona Lisa - FINNEAS (Now this guy loves his 90's. As someone who was born 10 years before him I find that amusing. Anyway, song slaps.)

29 - Demi Lovato (The lyrics are so on point. You get to a certain age and realise the people who thought you were so interesting and mature in your late adolescence must have been fucking creeps. The whole album is great. I'm not someone who otherwise listens to Demi a lot but this album did it for me. Runner-up: Skin of My Teeth.)

The 30th - Billie Eilish (Fucking devastating.)

Mastermind - Hi, it's Her (sorry) (Initially Midnights left me whelmed but turns out it's the only full album of hers I actually listen to. Great for baking. Not her best lyrical work and yet...still slaps. Mastermind is a masterpiece. Runner-up: Question..?)

Selfish Soul - Sudan Archives (I'm a white woman with fine dead looking straight hair. Can't relate. But the song is a bop. She is amazing. No-one else should be allowed to slay a violin.)

Note: Being a music listener these days is strange. A completely different experience to when I was a teen. As a millennial I feel like I've lived in two worlds a roughly equal amount of time AND IT'S WEIRD. Like remembering somebody else's life. I'm not that old and yet, in some ways I have more in common with my 71 year old parents than someone a decade younger than me. Kids these days will never understand. Get off my fucking lawn.

What I've loved about the streaming age is being able to listen to a lot of non-English sung music. That's definitely the best part.

Just go online & listen to A-WA. No need to go to Israel/some dodgy music shop selling "world music".

Hello and welcome to the fandom! :) There are so many great, talented creators to follow on here that I honestly feel a bit bad about not including more people. I would definitely recommend following these folks and then seeing who they are following/posting from/etc because there's some amazing writers, artists and creators in the RDR2 fandom and I don't doubt that I've missed people off.

(Also, anyone who sees the post, feel free to promote yourself or other people in the fandom. Sorry again if I have missed you)!

@verai-marcel - They have some wonderful fics. I highly recommend their RDR2 modern AU fics and their Neighbourly Affection series is wonderful.

@mistermxrgan - A RP blog run by @f--hawk. They absolutely nail Arthur's characterisation and they're an all round sweet, amazing person.

@kitty-the-outlaw - Fantastic fics and if Micah is more your cup of tea this is definitely the person to go to! They are also really lovely and kind and were super welcoming when I turned up! :D

@its-deputy-caleb - They've got some gorgeous headcanons and wonderful fanfictions. If you're looking for Morbell then their blog is definitely one to check out.

@norafike - Ngl I have no clue who Lemuel Fike is. I still read all their fics because they're just that good. Making me enjoy a ship so much, even when I don't know who one of the characters is, is a remarkable skill!

@daily-escuella - This person annoys me, because not only are they an immensely talented artist, but they also write gorgeous stuff too! Like that's not fair, be skilled at one thing like the rest of us! But in all seriousness they have some brilliant fics and they're super lovely.

@htyhtiasmmsibijt - Great writer and has done some beautiful one shots about Arthur's younger days. Highly recommend. Also they wrote me an amazing smutty fic and I was blushing like a tomato, it's so good!

@12timetraveler - They're a big fan of Hosea, so if you like soft, Papa Hosea I would definitely recommend. Loved their Bound For You fic about Hosea and Bessie Matthews, it was so sweet. Be prepared to cry though!

@ttuesday - I respect this person so much and I am so envious of their headcanons. They're so fucking good and they put in so much effort. Like if mine can ever be as good as theirs, I will cry!

@outlaw-scribble - They have some incredible fics inspired by prompts. I don't think there's ever been anything I didn't enjoy reading by them.

@coldmorte - For all your Dutch Van Der Linde and VanderMorgan needs! I wasn't the biggest Dutch fan when I got here, but they definitely helped change my mind!

@reddeaddesolation - Very apt name, they keep coming up with headcanons and fics that make me cry! Their John Marston one where he has night terrors just destroyed me.

Hi anon! Oh my god I swore to myself that I would actually post at least ONE of my crossover fics between Not Me and KinnPorsche before answering your ask, but aahhhhh they're still under works.

I've not read any such fics yet (if anyone wants to reccomend please do!), but these are some of the premises I'm building:

1. Gotham AU where Black is Batman, White is Superman, the Theerapanyakuls are one of the mafia families, Todd is joker (sane version), Pete and Porsche are bodyguards with massive hero worship going on towards Batman and Superman which leads to reluctant team ups between the heroes and the villains (the Theerapanyakuls don't want to and Batman doesn't want to, but who is going to say no to Pete and Porsche's big eyes and White's common sense?) to take down supervillains and then it's back to normal.

2. Actual crossover between the canon worlds where ROL has since become a name to be feared among the criminals (a few years have passed since Black and White reunited and Kinnporsche timeline is a few months after Vegas wakes up).

There's 2 different fics I'm working on on this concept:

Crack fic - Todd gets bullied by the other mafiosos (Kinn and Vegas) for falling in love with an activist. Pure shenanigans.

Pete and Black-centric fic - Pete's understanding of the world theough the lens of "there's no heroes and villains in this world", and yet being enamoured by Black and ROL whom he finds remind him of the days he used to play superhero games with his friends.

Writing Black in this fic is more difficult as I want to be careful when putting his thoughts into words lest I go ooc. The series Black is such a brilliant character and I want to do him justice.

Also focuses on Pete and Porsche's friendship.

3. The Pete Lore: there's no official title for this fic yet and it mostly deals with Pete's background, where he comes from, his family (father, grandmother, old friends and new friends), his new relationship with Vegas and Macau etc.. I can't say much due to spoilers, but it is inspired by the Pothiyakorn Twins and their connection and there'll be an appearance by Yok in the story.

So this is pretty much it. God I hope I'm able to finish at least one of these soon enough.
