Dazai (No Longer Human). To begin with, my man had to find someone with a ability. (Probably like, 1/1,000,000 people) And then touch them, if Dazai was a normal guy, and not the demon prodigy, he 100% wouldn't have known he had this ability

Yosano (Thou Shalt Not Die). How'd she even discover this? There's very few scenarios where someone would be half dead, and I doubt that any normal person would be able to discover that they had a ability like this. There's still a chance, but it's very small.

Fitzgerald (The Great Fitzgerald). Imagine, you're a middle class man, normal life, normal income, nothing crazy about your life. How the hell do you find out you become stronger when you spend money. We've seen Fitzgerald not activate his ability when he causally spends, how the hell did you activate it then???

Muishitaro (The Perfect Crime). I- How does a normal person, commit enough crimes to find out that, no they're not getting away with these crimes because they're lucky, they're actually using a ability that erases their crime.

Ace (Madness of the Jewel Kings). Could just be a me thing but, I don't think I've ever met someone with debt slaves. Much less anyone who can convert their debt slaves lifespan into jewels. You either gotta be insane, or have plot armor to find out about this ability

Mark Twain (Huck Finn and Tom Sawyer). You have to be fucking enlisted to find out you have this ability, because there's no way a normal person's gonna have a sniper with them (unless you're in the United States.... Wait-)

Fukuzawa (All Men are Created Equal). This is the same logic as Dazai, there's probably not that many ability users, as you'd have to collect enough ability users to realize "oh, my subordinates get full control over their abilities", also what qualifies as the agencies entrance exam? Is it even necessary?

Pushkin (A Feast in Time of Plague). How the hell do you manage to "coincidentally" find out that you have an ability that affects 2 people with a virus, and that if one of those 2 people don't die, both the people will die from having their organs eaten. You have to be insane or a serial killer to find that ability.

Yukito (Another). I'm genuinely curious on how many mysteries this guy had to solve to be able to find out that the killer in the mysteries always, 100%, without fail, dies after the mysterys been solved. That is extremely and annoyingly specific.

Kajii (Lemon). The whole ass reason I made this post, who the fuck is "conveniently" creating lemon shaped bombs, there's no way he found out this ability through normal means. Was one of his friends a terrorist with a lemon kink? Because that's the only reasonable explanation that he's finding out this ability. Either that or, he's got a big food kink and makes bombs shaped as food during his spare time. There's no fucking way, a normal guy with an office job is finding out they have an ability like that. Atsushi's the main character? Nah, this man has way more plot armor. Because the stars, universe, solar system, and plantes had to align for him to find out about his ability

A/N; Just a quick drabble. This is NOT. me making fun/joking about mental illnesses/addictions this is me putting uncanon headcanons on BSD chracters, if you're disturbed by this, block me or scroll!

Pyromaniac!Chuuya Nakahara - Chuuya isn't the one to let most of the intrusive thoughts of setting things on fire but sometimes they get the better of him but it doesn't cause mass destruction. (The habbit is worse during corruption and the habbit most likely started from said corruption.)

W33dAddiction!Edgar Allan Poe - He smokes constantly while writing his mystery novels. It started the time when Ranpo escaped the book he was working on for years straight, the smokes to relieve and built up stress.

Stalker!Akutugawa Ryūnosuke - he isn't one of those creepy stalkers that breaks into your house just to steal clothing or taking things you threw away, he's more tame. Taking secret photos of you when he sees you etc. (Specifically taking them with piliroid cameras)

Cannibal!Nikolai Gogol - He definitely eats human remains in front of you but he never dares to cross your boundaries of what you're not comfortable. He sometimes asks what would happen if he tried to eat you but it was always just for laughs. The only thing that would come close to "eating" would be the soft bites and nibbles he'd put on your body.

Priest!Fyodor Dostoevsky - Priest never go against their Gods words even if it was desire. No matter how many times you would confess your undeniable love for him and all the sick twisted fantasies you had of him in the confession booth, he couldn't recuperate the feelings since he was the priest of the church but he knew he couldn't deny any feeling he did have for you.

Obsessive!Dazai Osamu - Hes WAY manipulative when it comes to things like you venting your feelings. If you were ever upset with someone he'd manipulate you into thinking you only ever needed him and nobody else that was how his charm worked. Hold you close and never let go, cherishing you every second of the day to make you only want him.

ManicDepression!Sigma - He could be stressed out and yelling to a soft and cuddly guy but it depends on how severe things get. Things get hectic in the sky casino, Sigma's drastic mood swings not helping as he can go to yelling at someone before apologizing for his actions on how he will never do it again.

Psychopathic!Jono Saigiku - Jono isn't one of those violent or aggressive pshycopaths but he can tend to be very manipulative. When it comes to being empathetic, he doesn't understand too much about one's feelings but he is good at brushing them off even if said person is begging for help(advice/support).

Schizophrenic!Ace - He's quite literally delusional (going back to the scene were fyodor manipulated him into offing himself) His thoughts can get jumbled and disorganized when most likely proved wrong. His mental state would most likely deteriorating and breaking into fragments (a sense of mental fragmentation)

Anorexia nervosa/ED!Lovecraft - I'm not saying out of all EDS he had anorexia but it's possible. He's more self-conscious of the way his body looks and he probably just sleeps to much and forgets to eat.

Insomniac!Katai - He definitely stays up all night snuggled in that comforter of his constantly browsing the internet. But not only just staying up, he definitely has multiple sleep paralysis demons that haunt him when he tries sleeping.

Narcissistic!Ivan - He absolutely NEEDS. to be seen and admired (specifically from fyodor) He's self-centered and obsessed over self-importance. He doesn't seem to care for anyone but himself (and fyodor cause that's canon.)

OCD!Kunikida - He's absolutely obsessed with his ideals and being organized. If something in his schedule goes a miss or someone cancels on him he has to fix EVERYTHING. In his head he has to have the perfect schedule or the entire day will be fucking over and he wont know what to do in the next following hours.

BSD Old AU

This is an old AU I made ages ago when all I was seeing was swap AUs. I tired to find ways to keep their backstories mostly the same. I was also constantly fighting with the idea of Atsushi and Chuuya swapping and Dazai and Akutagawa. But I deiced to be a sheep even if I will miss that au. Anyway here's who swapped with who in this age swap.

Dazai - Atsushi (Dazai escaped from the Mafia and tried to end his own life, Atsushi still saves him)

Kunikida - Tanizaki (Kunikida started working just a little before Dazai and works under Atsushi as one of the few offence abilities. Tanizaki is technically our depressed boi and the short tempered one)

Ranpo - Yasano (Not much changes tbh, Yasano will send people shopping for her as she doesn't leave the building all that much. Ranpo is still the silly who gets lost but he also takes cases without bisa)

(IDK who Im swapping with Kenji but he's one of the oldest now. He's not around a lot tho)

All leaders of the organisations stay the same.

Ace - Q (IDK why but it feels right)

Kyouka - Koyo (Kyouka is now an executive and is mostly training Koyo against her will. She thinks the child is too dark to ever bloom to something helpful. Koyo loves Kyouka)

Chuuya - Akutagawa (Also now an executive, him and Kyouka have a very tense work relationship. He's also always been in charge of training chuuya ever since Dazai braught him in. Chuuya wants Dazai dead cause he braught him into this and Dazai was the one that got to leave)

Hirotsu - Higuchi (Higuchi is the old leader of black lizard dispite not having an abilitie she has the respect of the PM. Hirotsu is new and pretty much placed on watching his colleges like a babysitter)

Gin - Odasaku (There is a story here.)

Tachihara - Ango (This one feels slef explanatory.)

Concept: Executive Ace was a spy.

So I saw one of those bsd characters nationalities lists. And for some reason I was surprised by Ace being British.

Even though I shouldn’t be because I know his ability comes from “The madness of George III.” He’s very obviously British and I am embarrassed.

But it got me thinking because as far as we know there’s only been 2 other non Japanese members of the Port Mafia.

Arthur Rimbaud and Paul Verlaine who are both French.

Rimbaud’s the one I’d like to focus on because he was also an executive (sub executive in his case) like Ace.

And both of them hid their real names. Rimbaud went by Randou and Ace’s real name has to be Alan Bennett. Because he’s the one who write the playwright Ace’s ability gets its name from.

Rimbaud kept his name a secret because he was a spy. So what if that’s the reason Ace kept his a secret too. Ace in general is such a weird character. He’s never involved himself in any conflict despite being an executive.

And well, he’s an executive.

I get his ability is cool (read: horrific) and all but damn Mori your standards really slipped huh? Hired a man who hates you and thinks you’re a terrible leader and has no loyalty to your organisation.

What because he bought in his way in?

So I’m just like what if he was a spy like Rimbaud. His goal being to destabilise and destroy the Port Mafia from the inside. And that’s why he tried to recruit Fyodor to help him overthrow Mori.

And why he had a list of all the Port Mafia’s weaknesses.

Maybe Mori figured him out and kept him close for that reason. Then again Mori doesn’t exactly have the best track record with realising he has spies in his organisation.

And Fyodor deemed him a necessary sacrifice to his goal. I mean it’s not the first time he’s killed a Brit in this series so might wanna keep an eye on that Agatha.

I dunno there’s just something weird about Ace for a guy who shows up just to be killed. Though I know I’m probably reaching so who knows.
